There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
WE shall still follow Paul in his missionary wanderings. Silas and Timothy continued with him.
Acts 17:1–15
1, 2 Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews: And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures.
3 Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you is Christ. (The apostle’s custom was to reason from the Scriptures, and surely there is no weapon so powerful as that which is taken from the armoury of inspiration.)
4, 5 And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few. But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people. (On a former occasion Satan employed the honourable to disturb the apostle’s work, now he summons the low fellows of the markets; little does he care what tools he uses, so that he can compass his ends. The mob attacked Jason’s house, supposing the preachers to be there. The story reads like a tale of the early Methodist times.)
6, 7 And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also; Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Cæsar, saying that there is another king, one Jesus. (Earnest Christians have often been attacked with this handy weapon—they are innovators, and, of course, are the enemies of “our glorious constitution,” causing infinite disturbance by their new-fangled ways. Verily, church history repeats itself.)
8, 9 And they troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things. And when they had taken security of Jason, and of the other, they let them go.
Honoured indeed was Jason to be surety for one against whom the world was enraged, but of whom the world was not worthy.
10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. (See how they persevere, they are at their old work again.)
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
The candour of these Bereans was their nobility, they did not condemn unheard. Knowing the Old Testament to be the word of God, they tested the gospel by it.
12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few. (They proved all things, and then held fast what they had tested.)
13 But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people. (Earnest saints have earnest enemies; pleased with their success at Thessalonica, the Jews used the same tactics at Berea; yet they only gave wings to the feet of the missionaries and kept the light moving on.)
14 And then immediately the brethren sent away Paul to go as it were to the sea: but Silas and Timotheus abode there still.
15 And they that conducted Paul brought him unto Athens: and receiving a commandment unto Silas and Timotheus for to come to him with all speed, they departed. (What Berea lost Athens gained, for Paul arrived there all the earlier. Let Satan do what he may, he only speeds on the cause which he desires to hinder. To God be all glory, for thus vanquishing evil with good.)
Our Lord would have all his people rich in high and happy thoughts concerning his blessed person. Jesus is not content that his brethren should think meanly of him; it is his pleasure that his espoused ones should be delighted with his beauty. We are not to regard him as a bare necessary, like to bread and water, but as a luxurious delicacy, as a rare and ravishing delight. To this end he has revealed himself as the “pearl of great price” in its peerless beauty, as the “bundle of myrrh” in its refreshing fragrance, as the “rose of Sharon” in its lasting perfume, as the “lily” in its spotless purity.
As a help to high thoughts of Christ, remember the estimation that Christ is had in beyond the skies, where things are measured by the right standard. Think how God esteems the Only Begotten, his unspeakable gift to us. Consider what the angels think of him, as they count it their highest honour to veil their faces at his feet. Consider what the blood-washed think of him, as day without night they sing his well deserved praises. High thoughts of Christ will enable us to act consistently with our relations towards him. The more loftily we see Christ enthroned, and the more lowly we are when bowing before the foot of the throne, the more truly shall we be prepared to act our part towards him. Our Lord Jesus desires us to think well of him, that we may submit cheerfully to his authority. High thoughts of him increase our love. Love and esteem go together. Therefore, believer, think much of your Master’s excellencies. Study him in his primeval glory, before he took upon himself your nature! Think of the mighty love which drew him from his throne to die upon the cross! Admire him as he conquers all the powers of hell! See him risen, crowned, glorified! Bow before him as the Wonderful, the Counsellor, the mighty God, for only thus will your love to him be what it should.1
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him….
JOHN 6:44
The efforts of liberal and borderline modernists to woo men to God by presenting the soft side of religion is an unqualified evil because it ignores the very reason for our alienation from God in the first place!
It seems to be an obvious fact that until a man has gotten into trouble with his own heart he is not likely to get out of trouble with God.
Cain and Abel are solemn examples of this truth. Cain brought a present to One whom he assumed to be pleased with him. Abel brought a sacrifice to One who he knew could not accept him as he was. His trembling heart told him to find a place to hide. Cain’s heart did not tremble—he was well satisfied with himself.
The fear of God would have served Cain well in that critical moment for it would have changed the whole character of his offering and altered the entire course of his life for the better.
As indispensable as is the terror of the Lord, we must always keep in mind that it cannot be induced by threats made in the name of the Lord. Hell and judgment are realities, and they must be preached in their biblical context as fully as the Bible teaches them, but they cannot induce that mysterious thing we call the fear of the Lord.
The Holy Spirit alone can induce this emotion in the human breast. It is a feeling rather than idea: it is the deep reaction of a fallen creature in the presence of the holy Being the stunned heart knows is God!1
Ezekiel 16:44 — A church ladies’ group came across this verse and thought it’d be a fitting tribute for the upcoming mother-daughter banquet. Please be sure to check the context of the next verse you use for an event!
Ezekiel 16:49 — Today, liberal theologians will say “See, the sin of Sodom was not sodomy but was pride and not showing compassion to the poor.” Unfortunately, they do not look at the context any more than the unfortunate ladies’ ministry!
Ezekiel 16:50 — We see in Ezekiel 16:49 the origin of their sin: pride, a mental sin. This is repeated in Romans 1:21 – “… vain in their imaginations.” Lot felt the call of the beauty of the land; it looked like the Garden of Eden (Genesis 13:10).
Then we see in Ezekiel 16:49 Phase II of their sin: a wrong attitude toward resources, a financial sin. Their covetousness prevented them from giving, like it prevented the Rich Young Ruler in Mark 10:22. In Romans 1:21, we see that the sinners addressed were not thankful – they forgot who gave them their resources in the first place. In Genesis 14:21, the King of Sodom offers to Abraham his wealth, but Abraham rejects it (Genesis 14:23) and accepts only what food his (needy) men have eaten already.
This led to Phase III of their sin: abomination. What was this abomination? The same Hebrew word is used in Leviticus 20:13 when referring to homosexuality. In Genesis 19:5, we see that the Sodomites were referring to homosexuality. In Romans 1:26-27, we see that Paul is referring to homosexuality. It seems clear that this abomination is a coded reference to homosexuality as well, a sexual sin. In Ezekiel 16:47, Ezekiel says that Jerusalem hasn’t “done” after Sodom’s abominations, but they were corrupted in other ways. Ezekiel said earlier in this chapter (Ezekiel 16:20) that they sacrificed their children as burnt offerings to idols!
As an aside, God isn’t picking on people who struggle with same-sex attraction. God has strong warnings on premarital relations (Hebrews 13:4), extramarital relations (Exodus 20:14), post-marital relations (Matthew 19:9), mental relations (Matthew 5:28), intergenerational relations (1 Corinthians 5:1), interspecies relations (Exodus 22:19), desires for forbidden relations (Colossians 3:5), and even hints of the above types of relations (Ephesians 5:3). If you haven’t noticed it yet, God wants a peculiar people (1 Peter 2:9). If you’re still unsure about this point, feel free to re-read Leviticus.
Ezekiel 17:15 — What was the problem in defending oneself against the Babylonians? Like we read earlier in Deuteronomy 17:16, God specifically forbade that activity.
Ezekiel 17:18 — Even though the oath was made to an enemy (Ezekiel 17:18), God takes oaths seriously (Ezekiel 17:19).
Ezekiel 17:24 — As James 4:6 says, God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.
Hebrews 8:10 — Not only is Jesus a better priest, but He is priest of a better promise to us. The author is quoting Jeremiah 31:31-34 to show that this was the promised “Better Covenant.”
Psalm 106:13 — The Psalmist recounts the problems the Hebrews caused on their Exodus from Egypt. Forgetting God. Tempting God. Challenging God’s servant. Changing God’s glory. Despising God’s land. Disbelieving God’s Word. Interesting that we read it in conjunction with Ezekiel 16 & 17.
Proverbs 27:7 — You may not be the greatest chef, but to a hungry soul, you’re the only chef!

This is spoken to a childlike believer, who was ready to accept Jesus as the Son of God, the King of Israel, upon one convincing piece of argument. Those who are willing to see shall see; it is because we shut our eyes that we become so sadly blind.
We have seen much already. Great things and unsearchable has the Lord showed unto us, for which we praise His name; but there are greater truths in His Word, greater depths of experience, greater heights of fellowship, greater works of usefulness, greater discoveries of power, and love, and wisdom. These we are yet to see if we are willing to believe our Lord. The faculty of inventing false doctrine is ruinous, but power to see the truth is a blessing. Heaven shall be opened to us, the way thither shall be made clear to us in the Son of Man, and the angelic commerce which goes on between the upper and the lower kingdoms shall be made more manifest to us. Let us keep our eyes open toward spiritual objects and expect to see more and more. Let us believe that our lives will not drivel down into nothing but that we shall be always on the growing hand, seeing greater and still greater things, till we behold the great God Himself and never again lose the sight of Him.
This day is notable in English history for two great deliverances wrought by God for us. On this day the plot of the Papists to destroy our Houses of Parliament was discovered, 1605.
“While for our princes they prepare
In caverns deep a burning snare,
He shot from heaven a piercing ray,
And the dark treachery brought to day.”
And secondly—to-day is the anniversary of the landing of King William III, at Torbay, by which the hope of Popish ascendancy was quashed, and religious liberty was secured, 1688.
This day ought to be celebrated, not by the saturnalia of striplings, but by the songs of saints. Our Puritan forefathers most devoutly made it a special time of thanksgiving. There is extant a record of the annual sermons preached by Matthew Henry on this day. Our Protestant feeling, and our love of liberty, should make us regard its anniversary with holy gratitude. Let our hearts and lips exclaim, “We have heard with our ears, and our fathers have told us the wondrous things which thou didst in their day, and in the old time before them.” Thou hast made this nation the home of the gospel; and when the foe has risen against her, thou hast shielded her. Help us to offer repeated songs for repeated deliverances. Grant us more and more a hatred of Antichrist, and hasten on the day of her entire extinction. Till then and ever, we believe the promise, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper.” Should it not be laid upon the heart of every lover of the gospel of Jesus on this day to plead for the overturning of false doctrines and the extension of divine truth? Would it not be well to search our own hearts, and turn out any of the Popish lumber of self-righteousness which may lie concealed therein?1
THE battle of Philippi was not over yet, the enemy were yet to be vanquished by those whom they had taken prisoner.
Acts 16:25–40
25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. (They turned, as one has well said, even a porch of death and a gate of hell into a sanctuary and a gate of heaven. With bleeding backs and in a comfortless posture they sang like angels, and made the grim walls ring again. No groans and moans were heard, but a nocturnal jubilate such as that dungeon never echoed with before.)
26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. (Such an earthquake was evidently supernatural, and was a great wonder; but greater wonders were yet to come, for hearts were to be opened also.)
27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. (Death, coupled with dishonour, would have been his doom. Desperate and frenzied, he was on the borders of hell; but grace plucked him as a brand from the burning.)
28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
Stricken with awe at the miracle, no prisoner left his cell. God can hold men in their places without bonds or bolts.
29, 30 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
The answer was quickly given, and in a few words. Is salvation then so simple? Indeed it is! Have we believed, and have we obtained mercy for our house? If not, let us pray in faith.
32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.
All his house believed and all were baptized. Here the apostles saw who it was that had said “Come over and help us.”
34 And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house. (His faith brought forth fruit, which evidenced his change of heart, else this rough jailor would not so courteously have entertained his prisoners.)
35 And when it was day, the magistrates sent the serjeants, saying, Let those men go.
36–37, And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace. But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.
38 And the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and they feared, when they heard that they were Romans.
39 And they came and besought them, and brought them out, and desired them to depart out of the city. (Paul sets us an example of claiming our civil rights when to do so will further justice and teach oppressors that they cannot violate laws as they like; yet this example must be followed cautiously, or else, like the apostle, we may appeal unto Cæsar, and lose more than we gain.)
40 And they went out of the prison, and entered into the house of Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed. (They did not leave the city at once, but called upon Lydia and relieved her mind with the recital of the work of God in the prison, and then, to prevent further tumult, they went on their way.)
The opening chapters of Romans provide a devastating analysis of humanity’s lost and sinful condition. Today, Sinclair Ferguson explains how these verses emphasize our need for God’s saving grace in the gospel.
During his “My Take,” Tuesday, “Varney & Co.” host Stuart Varney looked back at former President Trump’s rise to the presidency in 2016, arguing the “scorned” Democratic establishment still hasn’t forgiven him for defeating Hillary Clinton.
STUART VARNEY: On June 16th, 2015, Donald Trump rode down the golden escalator to declare his candidacy for the presidency.
Four months later, November 2015, I was sworn in as a newly minted American citizen. I had been paying taxes for 40 years.
Right or wrong, he was different. Don’t tell the New York Times, but the country needed a new approach.
The left couldn’t handle it. The new guy had beaten the anointed Hillary Clinton, and they did everything to destroy his presidency.
They are still pursuing him. They call him a fascist and liken him to Hitler. They’ve taken him to court. They’ve bent and twisted the law. They’ve labeled him a felon.
All the time ignoring how the Biden family took millions of dollars from very dubious people overseas.
Crime is a cancer spreading through every Democrat urban center, unchecked and flourishing by the day.
Our economy is in shambles: skyrocketing debt, unmanageable inflation, a fentanyl epidemic, homeless camps the signature sight of every Democrat city.
Our border no longer exists, and our voting system is dreadfully insecure.
The Democrat push to defund the police and install Soros DA’s in our cities has pushed us to the brink of anarchy.
Our culture has been gutted by the perverted and the insane.
Women have lost the playing field to mentally ill men in dresses.
The America of Kamala Harris is a catastrophe.
Donald Trump and the fine men and women he has recruited to save our beloved nation will fix the horror show that has been Kamala Harris and her (by his own admission) “knucklehead” vice-presidential candidate.
America needs fixing in the worst way and only Donald Trump and JD Vance can do it.
Vote for Donald Trump today, like I did, and make America America again.
Democrats never stop to consider just how much their party elites have contributed to the rise of Donald Trump in American politics. The emotion they call ‘hate’ is more accurately described as resentment of the abuse inflicted by society’s elites.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — As Americans continue to wait in line to cast their votes today, several prominent Democrats have stepped forward to remind the country that an election winner may not be declared until 110% of the vote is done being counted.
According to Democrat Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Americans should be prepared to wait until election authorities finish counting and double-counting all 110% of the votes cast today.
“In order to support a stable and secure electoral situation, we all need to remember that counting all 110% of the votes could take quite some time,” Schumer reminded voters. “This is completely, totally normal and certainly not a cause for any concern whatsoever. Just everybody simmer down and wait patiently.”
Several other prominent Democrats, including Rashida Tlaib, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, and Nancy Pelosi have supported Schumer’s comments, asking that all Americans wait until all the correct votes have been counted.
At publishing time, Democrats had also reminded everyone that voting in border states might take a little longer than usual so that undocumented migrants can all get a chance to vote as well.
BIG NEWS: We made a movie, and you can watch the trailer NOW:
There are three factors that will determine the winner of today’s presidential election. All three are facts, not theories. Yet you won’t hear one word about them in the election coverage of the mainstream media. What a bizarro world.
It’s like we are living in a real life “Twilight Zone.”
First and foremost, we all know about the “Trump whisper vote.” We have lived it for 10 years- since 2015 when Trump first came down that famous escalator at Trump Tower. I quickly became one of the most high-profile Trump supporters in the media. And wherever I’ve gone for the past decade, people come up to me and whisper, “I love what you do Wayne. God bless you. I’m with you. I’m for Trump. MAGA.”
Keep in mind, no one ever says this loudly. They always look around to see if anyone is nearby, or listening within earshot, and then they whisper it. They have a twinkle in their eyes and a big smile
Being for Trump is like a “secret society” with a secret handshake that only the members know.
The last two elections proved this. This isn’t my opinion, it’s FACT. There are huge numbers of Trump voters who the mainstream media and pollsters cannot identify. That’s why the polls are always wrong when it comes to Trump. Not just wrong, but way off.
This factor not only was proven true in 2016 and 2020 with Trump, when Trump outperformed the polls by a mile, but also in 1980 when polls reported Reagan tied or slightly behind Carter for many months, before Reagan won a last-minute landslide victory.
In 1980 the pollsters all apologized for getting the election wrong. They admitted there was a “Silent Majority” of Reagan voters who were mostly working class and middle class who were never counted in their polls.
Yet even though it happened with Reagan in 1980, and again with Trump in 2016 and 2020, here we are again, and no one is mentioning it in the mainstream media.
This isn’t just “Twight Zone”, it’s “Groundhog Day.”
It’s so clear these polls that keep showing the race is tied, or razor close, do not include millions of “undercover” Trump voters who whisper “I love Trump,” but would never tell a pollster.
Trump is leading or tied in polls for the first time in his career. So, based on history, this isn’t a tight race. History proves whenever Trump is down by 10, he’s tied or winning. But this time he’s tied, or already winning by 1 to 3 points. That translates to a Trump blowout win (certainly with the electoral vote).
And yet no one in the media is talking about this very real possibility.
Secondly, Gallop ALWAYS gets it right. Gallop doesn’t poll candidates (ie Trump vs Kamala). They poll “political party identification.” Throughout modern history that number correlates EXACTLY with the final vote.
If Democrats lead by 3 in party ID, the Democrat presidential candidate always wins by exactly 3. If Democrats lead by 1, the Democrat candidate wins by exactly 1, but might lose the electoral vote. Yes, it is a science. It always matches.
This year, for the first time in modern history, Republicans not only lead in voter identification, they lead by a landslide. The last Gallop poll before the election showed GOP +7. Meaning the GOP now has a 7-point edge among voters.
You know what that means? All the polls are wrong. They’re all based on an electorate that no longer exists. They’re all based on a Democrat majority of voters. The correct demographic makeup of polls should be GOP +7. And based on that number, Trump is ahead by a mile. The polls have it all wrong- again.
And yet no one in the media is talking about this very real possibility.
Lastly, all of this may be “out the window,” if Democrats can cheat big enough. We all know Democrats purposely welcomed in 15 to 20 million illegal alien invaders. This isn’t some secret. It’s a FACT that millions have come in across that open border.
The only debate is how many? Democrats admit to 8 million. Border agents agree that number is way too low. Add in “got aways” and it’s more like 15 to 20 million, or more. No one knows.
Why would anyone allow this, or want this?
It’s national suicide and national bankruptcy rolled into one. No country in world history has ever conducted this insane experiment before.
There can be only one possible answer- “The Great Replacement.”
Democrats want to replace the citizens (and more specifically Republican voters) and make our votes meaningless. It’s really that simple. These illegal aliens are being registered to vote, and with mail-in ballots, they don’t even have to show up at the polls. If they vote Democrat they get to stay here, and collect tons of free government handouts.
Of course, they’re voting. Why wouldn’t they? Who’s stopping them? They have everything to gain and nothing to lose.
If you don’t think they’re voting, you’re either a fool, a liar, or a Democrat.
The votes of millions of illegal aliens could completely nullify the poll numbers above and result in a Kamala victory. This is certainly happening to some extent. The only question is, how many millions of illegal aliens are actually voting?
And yet no one in the media is talking about this very real possibility.
Those are the three factors that will determine the winner tonight (or a few days from now). All three are FACTS, not theories. Yet all of these topics are either completely ignored by the mainstream media, or forbidden from being discussed.
My gut says this is a repeat of Reagan-Carter in 1980. It’s too big to rig. Trump will get over 80 million votes, with an outside shot at 90 million. I predict Trump wins a big electoral victory.
But those 15 to 20 million illegal alien voters are out there. And that scares me to death. That could change everything. I know that’s what Democrats are counting on.
I wonder why the media won’t allow a discussion about this?

Election day is finally here. Polls show that the race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump stands at a virtual tie, and that has many worried about the possibility of a contested election.
Sixty-eight percent of Americans are concerned people will resort to violence if they are unhappy with the outcome.
Contributing to those fears are recent findings that nineteen percent of Republicans and twelve percent of Democrats say that, if their candidate loses, he or she should declare the results invalid and “do whatever it takes to assume office.”
Those numbers are not surprising to anyone who consumes a lot of political media. Tune into the establishment-friendly press and you’ll be inundated with stories about voter suppression in red states, recaps of the most dramatic skirmishes that happened outside the Capitol on January 6, and warnings about how Trump and his allies could actually take power after losing the upcoming election.
The fear, from the establishment’s perspective, is that after losing, Trump will successfully pressure Republican legislators in battleground states to appoint “alternate” electors that will keep Harris below the 270 electoral votes needed to win, which would send the election to the likely Republican-controlled House.
Without very explicit evidence of decisive voter fraud that the political class outright ignores, it’s hard to see a scheme like this working—considering that Trump isn’t already in power, Democrats have passed laws in recent years making it harder to appoint alternate electors, and many of the Republican legislators Trump would rely on have shown a reluctance to go along with the former president absent strong pressure from their constituents. But that hasn’t stopped the fear-mongering.
On the other side, the Trump-friendly alternative media is full of stories about local and state officials overturning election security laws, deleting drop box surveillance footage, actively registering non-citizens to vote, losing entire trays of mail-in ballots, and other tales of vote manipulation and even outright fraud.
Pair these stories with all the left’s freakouts about “voter suppression” in red states and the various assertions of foreign influence operations and it’s easy to see how so many voters became convinced that a victory by the other side would be illegitimate. Now add the establishment panic about a MAGA plot to overturn the election if they lose and the right’s awareness of the political establishment’s preparations to do the exact same thing had they lost in 2020 and it becomes clear why many are worried about what awaits us after election day.
The collapse of the public’s trust in elections mirrors the collapse in trust in several other institutions, like the federal judicial system, public health authorities, and the news media.
While uncomfortable, the public losing trust in untrustworthy institutions is a good thing. It’s a necessary first step if the country is ever going to get on a better path.
The federal justice system has been used to go after the establishment’s political enemies since the beginning, public health authorities demolished any credibility they may have had with their deadly, totalitarian response to COVID-19, and the American news media has been actively misinforming the public in politically-expedient ways for essentially it’s entire history.
In the past decade or so, the American public has developed a much healthier level of skepticism toward these institutions. It is perfectly reasonable for that skepticism to carry over to federal elections.
After all, the political class—which includes politically-connected businesses—is making trillions of dollars in revenue thanks to various wars, innumerable regulations that protect them from competition, easy money from the Fed, and other lucrative government programs. It is not much of a jump to assume that, if able, the very people who have repeatedly lied us into unnecessary wars to line their pockets would be willing to use whatever means necessary to expand and protect their power and profits.
Together with the establishment-friendly media, the political class has placed a very high social cost on questioning the security of our elections in every instance except when it conveniently places the blame on a foreign government that Washington wants to demonize. Questioning the legitimacy of elections is “dangerous” unless you’re accusing Russia or Iran.
And whenever someone with a big enough voice casts doubt on past elections in an “unacceptable” way, the establishment is quick to shout them down with the same meaningless denunciation that there is no evidence of “widespread” election fraud.
Of course, if there were to be a conspiracy to either foment or permit voter fraud in a way that successfully flipped a national election, it would not be “widespread,” it would be targeted. Elections like this one come down to a handful of precincts—most of which are toss-up suburban and rural areas that surround blue cities in swing states. A conspiracy to commit or allow “widespread” voter fraud would be pointless and all but guarantee its discovery.
This is not to say you should accept every claim made about voter fraud or even that there is definitive proof that any previous elections were stolen in this fashion. And it’s certainly not to say that violence is an appropriate or productive response if the upcoming election appears like it was stolen.
Only that it would be healthy for more members of the American public to start questioning whether our system really works the way we learned it did in elementary school—where the president represents our collective will and acts as we would act to address the problems we face at home and abroad.
That simple story is an illusion that conveniently frames whatever the government is doing to us as an embodiment of everyone’s wishes and any opposition as a selfish stand against what everybody else wants. Many Americans are appropriately questioning a lot of what they’ve previously accepted as true. They ought to question this too.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Vice President Kamala Harris was heard questioning the voting process early Tuesday, reportedly confused as to why she needs to get any votes to be elected president.
“I don’t get it,” said Harris. “I became Vice President without receiving any votes, and then I became the nominee without receiving any votes… Why do we suddenly need these ‘vote’ things? This makes no sense.”
According to sources within the Harris campaign, the vice president had the entire electoral process explained to her but she still couldn’t grasp it. She kept asking who these people were with voting power and how she could stop them.
“Maybe I can just seize power? Can I just be declared President? That’s a thing, right?” she asked Campaign Manager Julie Rodriguez. “Trump keeps calling me a Marxist. What did Mark do? Sounds like he provoked a revolution and seized the means of production or something. Can’t we just do that?”
The electoral process for the presidency involves a count of the popular vote in each state, which is then converted into a balanced count through the electoral college which is designed to give states an equal weight based on population so that states with a large population like California won’t control the entire country with their votes. But that didn’t make any sense to the vice president.
“So the electoral college is not a university? Why is it called a college? This is so weird!” Kamala said. “Why do I need the Electoral College to vote for me? This whole ‘voting’ idea seems unnecessarily complicated.”
At publishing time, Kamala Harris, still confused by the process, voted for Joe Biden.
BIG NEWS: We made a movie, and you can watch the trailer NOW:
“Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is not making a present or a compliment to please an individual — or at least that he ought not so to do; but that he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country.” —Samuel Adams (1781)

Joe Rogan and Nikki Haley endorse Trump: Just in time, Donald Trump has received two significant endorsements. His former Republican primary opponent, Nikki Haley, finally spurned the overtures of turncoats like Liz Cheney and threw her support behind Trump. In a Wall Street Journal op-ed, Haley wrote, “For those of us clear-eyed enough to see Mr. Trump’s flaws and honest enough to acknowledge them, the question is whether we’re better off with his policies or his opponent’s. On taxes, spending, inflation, immigration, energy, and national security, the candidates are miles apart. And Mr. Trump is clearly the better choice.” Also endorsing Trump is the nation’s most popular podcaster, Joe Rogan, who posted a message on X following his latest interview with billionaire Elon Musk: “If it wasn’t for [Musk] we’d be [screwed]. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way. For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump. Enjoy the podcast.” Both endorsements show momentum for Trump.
Megyn Kelly makes up with Trump: Throughout his political career, Donald Trump has demonstrated the ability to mend fences. Take JD Vance, for example, who went from being a harsh critic of Trump to being his running mate. Or take Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, who’s been campaigning for Trump this cycle after having sparred with him over allegations of electoral fraud in the Peach State. Or take mega-podcaster Joe Rogan, whose frosty relationship with Trump was well known but who last night made an eleventh-hour endorsement of the former president. Or take conservative talker Megyn Kelly, who Trump called “nasty,” among other things, in 2015, but who last night stepped on stage with him to offer this full-throated endorsement: “He got mocked by the left for saying he would be the protector of women. He will be a protector of women. And it’s why I’m voting for him. … I’m not into their version of toxic masculinity or new masculinity. I prefer the old version. … And I prefer a president who knows how to be strong and how to fight. I hope all of you do what I did last week: Vote Trump and get 10 friends to vote Trump, too.”
Unity, she snarled: In the days leading up to Election Day 2024, Kamala Harris treated Joe Biden like a leper. But one page she seems to have taken from the Biden book is his dogged pursuit of Unity™ across the country, especially among those Americans who didn’t vote for him. So too with Kamala, who, as The Washington Post reports, “used her campaign stops in Michigan on Sunday to reiterate her message that she would be a president for all Americans by inviting those who disagree with her to the table, while Republican nominee Donald Trump doubled down on portraying a dystopian future for the country that he claimed only he could fix.” But as Breitbart reminds us, Harris wants to “turn the page” from calling Trump “a petty tyrant,” “unstable,” “obsessed with revenge,” “consumed with grievance,” and “out for unchecked power.” Indeed, she wants to turn the page from calling Trump a “fascist” and a “threat to democracy,” and from her surrogates calling his supporters “anti-American” and “garbage.” We must say, she’s got chutzpah.
Harris remains mum on what she supports: Kamala Harris is the candidate who never won a primary and yet may be mere hours away from being elected the next president of the United States. She has effectively run a campaign of hiding rather than sharing her policy agenda from the American public. As Leftmedia outlet Axios recently reported, “Harris is the ‘no comment’ candidate — purposely and strategically. She has calculated that it’s safer to be vague on policy matters than lampooned as a flip-flopper or left-winger.” So, what does Harris support? Does she still support executive action to grant citizenship status to two million Dreamers? Ending the death penalty at the federal level? Mandating that automakers make only EVs by 2030? Decriminalizing prostitution? Providing reparations to blacks? Giving voting rights to all felons? Installing climate change envoys in U.S. embassies across the world? These are but a few of the radical leftist policies that Harris has previously promoted, but thanks to a legacy media that’s been in the tank for the Democrats, she has not been pressed on those issues.
Georgia ballot win: The Georgia Supreme Court ruled on Monday that absentee ballots that are not received by today, Election Day, will not be counted. This decision overturns a lower-court judge’s ruling extending the deadline for mail-in ballots to November 8. This decision will impact at least 3,000 ballots. RNC Chairman Michael Whatley praised the decision, calling it a “huge election integrity victory” as he explained, “Democrat-run Cobb County wanted to accept 3,000 absentee ballots AFTER the Election Day deadline.” These roughly 3,000 ballots that come in after 7 PM today will be set aside and not counted. The court’s decision “does not pertain to voters entitled to vote under the federal Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act,” which mainly applies to military members overseas.
Riley Gaines has a voting message for men: Our nation’s most impressive fighter for women’s rights in sports took a brief break from the transgender war to issue an Election Day message to Americans of the opposite sex. “My message to the men,” she posted, “They can call you a Nazi. They can call you deplorable. They can call you garbage. But don’t give them the pleasure of calling you the beta man who didn’t get out and vote.” By “beta man,” she’s taking a swipe at the sitzpinklers, the wussy White Dudes for Harris. “But for real men,” she added, “Donald Trump took a bullet for you. The least you could do is vote for the man. Vote like your country was taken from you because it was. We need you men to go out and vote to make America affordable again, to make America safe again, to make America healthy again. To make America great again.” Much has been made of the gender gap that Trump has with women voters, but Harris’s gender gap with men is often bigger. If Kamala Harris loses, it will be in part because her party long ago lost the male vote.
Ranked-choice voting could cost Dems the House: The dubious and blatantly unfair ranked-choice voting (RCV) scheme may come back to bite Democrats and could even cost them majority control of the House. In Alaska, Democrat incumbent Representative Mary Peltola “won” her seat in the 2022 midterm election thanks to RCV despite the fact that she came in third in first-round voting. Chalk it up to karma if RCV costs her this time. Peltola has to contend with not just Republican challenger Nick Begich and Independence Party candidate John Wayne Howe but another Democrat candidate, Eric Hafner. Hafner is not a resident of Alaska and is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence in New York, but he’s on the ballot. As Phil Izon, who is heading the effort to pass Measure 2 to eliminate RCV in Alaska, points out, “The Democrats in Alaska say they like ranked-choice voting and jungle primaries, but they actually sued to kick this guy off the ballot.” Begich leads Peltola by four points in the latest polling, with Hafner getting 2% of the vote. A Begich win could be the deciding outcome that ensures Republicans retain control of the House. Furthermore, Alaskans could also vote to end their dalliance with RCV.
They spent more than $2 billion to stop Trump: Donald Trump is on the verge of completing the most remarkable comeback in American political history. As the Wall Street Journal’s Bill McGurn asks, “What other man could survive two impeachments, a congressional committee investigation stacked against him, two special prosecutors, dozens of state and federal felony indictments and opposition from a significant chunk of his own party, including his former vice president and a chief of staff?” McGurn, though, fails to mention the woefully biased network news media, which gave him 85% negative press coverage while giving Kamala Harris the kid-gloves treatment, with 78% positive coverage. Nor did McGurn mention the money cannon that’s been trained on Trump. Harris’s campaign and her allies spent more than $2.1 billion against Trump — a sum that still doesn’t include some Democrat spending. To get a sense of the kind of spending Donald Trump has been up against, get a load of this bubble chart.

It’s totally normal not to know who won the election on election night. Stop being such an election denier.
That’s the collective message of many Leftmedia outlets today, and it’s incredibly worrisome. These are, after all, the same people who spent the last four years accusing anyone who dared voice doubt about the 2020 election results of being an “election denier.”
They did not, of course, say the same thing about Democrats who challenged election results in 2000, 2004, or 2016.
Unfortunately, though few Americans say they trust the media anymore, not enough of them are adept at tuning out or filtering the propaganda. When the media are 85% negative about Donald Trump and 78% positive about Kamala Harris, it influences low-information voters. Try asking Harris supporters about her policies — most of them have no clue. They just know the Orange Man is bad.
Imagine for a moment what the nation would look like if the media were even remotely fair.
Here’s a sampling of headlines or story theses about why we should all just go to bed tonight and not worry our pretty little heads about knowing the results until … sometime later.
Associated Press: “Trump wants the presidential winner to be declared on election night. Why that’s unlikely.”
CBS News: “Waves of election results will begin coming in Tuesday night after polls close throughout the country, but in many key states it may take a while to know who has won — and much longer to get official, certified results.”
NBC News: “It may take as long as a week for the NBC News Decision Desk to project a presidential winner, or it could happen as early as Wednesday, even by Wednesday morning.”
The New York Times: “Declaring a winner could take a while. … The end of this high-drama presidential campaign on election night may not bring immediate clarity about who has won.”
You get the point.
Each of those stories goes on to explain why many states — coincidentally, the ones that will decide the election — could take several days to process ballots in a close election. The AP quotes an “expert”: “There’s nothing nefarious about it,” said Rick Hasen, a law professor at the University of California, Los Angeles. “The time delay is to protect the integrity of the process.”
The process is just so complicated, you see. The AP says many races are run in “nearly 10,000 separate jurisdictions,” it takes time for the Pony Express U.S. Postal Service to deliver mail-in ballots, and election officials need time to “process disputed, or ‘provisional,’ ballots, and to see if they were legitimately cast.”
That seems strange because, in previous news stories, the AP has assured us that illegitimate votes don’t happen because it’s illegal. Yes, that was effectively the “logic.”
Everyone drives the speed limit in my neighborhood, too.
Instead of really investigating allegations of voter fraud, the Leftmedia just dismisses it as right-wing fever dreams asserted “without evidence.” The truth is that it’s tough to know who receives or casts mail-in ballots, the pathetic window dressing of signature verification notwithstanding. One in five mail-in voters admitted to ballot fraud in 2020.
As for poll closings and vote counting in specific states, the Washington Examiner has a good rundown of what to expect. Notably, NBC News says Nevada “will take a week to count all their votes.” Nothing shady ever happens in Las Vegas, either.
We were told weeks ago that Pennsylvania had little intention of announcing a winner tonight. (Never mind that “accidental” test run on an ABC station there announcing a Harris victory.) NBC says there’s really nothing to worry about in the Keystone State, although its “unusual voting laws make it ripe for rigged election claims.” Not rigged elections, mind you. Claims.
As our Douglas Andrews recalled the other day, “Former MSNBC talkinghead and Philly native Chris Matthews used to brag about his hometown’s uncanny knack for mustering just enough votes to put Pennsylvania into the Democrats’ column. ‘How many do you need?’ he’d laugh.” It might take a few days for the Harris campaign to know how many votes she needs.
Maybe Democrat election officials in Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Detroit, Atlanta, and Phoenix really are operating in good faith. Maybe windmills really are superior energy technology. And maybe Santa Claus really can fit down my chimney.
Americans would believe our elections have integrity if, with rare exceptions for legitimate absentees, elections were conducted in person with photo ID on Election Day. Short of that, millions of Americans will remain pretty distrustful, especially of delays, no matter how often media outlets tell us everything is Fair and Secure™.
The Federalist’s Kylee Griswold gets it right when she writes, “The best outcome for justice, democracy, and Americans’ everyday living would be not just a Trump win but an absolute landslide.” It would serve as a much-needed and well-deserved rebuke of the radical Left, it would help restore faith in the election system, and it would yield better days ahead for the country.

For the Record
“What [Kamala Harris] wants to turn the page from is four years that were supposed to be all about unity in the first place. … She promised as vice president to work ‘to unite our country and heal the soul of our nation.’ It turned out so well that she now says the nation continues to be just as desperately in need of her unifying ministrations. Maybe the definition of insanity should be repeatedly voting for unity and expecting different results.” —Rich Lowry
“The vice president’s idea of finding consensus is jettisoning her most radioactive positions from 2019 and 2020 and embracing everything Biden has done. This moves her closer to the center, but the problem is that Biden has had his greatest success uniting the public against his presidency.” —Rich Lowry

“Our country took a wrong turn four years ago and now we’re stuck in a malaise. Everything is bad news: Our border is broken; we’re not respected in the world; hardworking men and women have been forgotten and left behind; our allies don’t trust us and our enemies don’t fear us. We are tired of living in a country that is no longer dreaming big, but that is going to change [today].” —Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL)
“If you’re struggling … with the price of groceries, you’re not garbage. If you’re pissed off about Kamala Harris’s open border, you’re not a bad person. And I, for one, am sick of having an American leadership that attacks the citizens of this country rather than solving this country’s problems.” —JD Vance
“Here’s my message to Kamala Harris: We are not garbage for thinking that you’ve done a bad job. But [today], we’re going to take out the trash in Washington, DC.” —JD Vance
“My message to Americans tonight is simple: We do not have to live this way. We do not have to settle for weakness, incompetence, decline, and decay.” —Donald Trump
Kamala Harris made a final campaign stop on Monday evening to go “door-knocking” in Pittsburgh that did not go as planned and served as a final reminder of how comically bad of a candidate she is.
It was another attempt to humanize the vice president and present her as doing the tough work to gain votes. The problem? It was laughably staged, and perhaps not realizing the press mics would pick up what she said, Harris was caught telling a family she had already greeted that she wanted them to go back inside so she could pretend to knock on their door and introduce herself.
Keep in mind, these are also hardcore Democrats, meaning even if this was a real door-knock, it would have been meaningless. But it wasn’t, and it turned into a final word on just how comically inauthentic Kamala Harris is.
You can then hear the man telling Harris that he had her hat on “in front of 111,000 people.” I’m not sure what he was referring to, but again, there’s no question these are the most dedicated of Harris supporters. That’s not a coincidence either. There is no doubt in my mind that the Harris campaign called ahead to ensure they would get a full family of sycophants to take part in their stunt.
Did the vice president and her handlers really not think footage of them staging this would get out? Heck, Harris seems annoyed that the family came out onto the porch and screwed up the photo-op. If any of this were organic, why not just go to the next house and try again? But of course, it wasn’t organic and everyone knows it.
This is who Kamala Harris is. She is the most inauthentic, staged presidential nominee in American History. She makes Hillary Clinton seem downright relatable. That’s both cringe and an indictment of what her leadership as president would be like. If Harris is this controlled on the campaign trail, she’ll be just as controlled in the White House.
Look, I know there are a lot of reasons people vote, but I am here on my hands and knees begging America to not make me write about this woman for the next four years. Please, give me that. If that’s the motivation you need, get to the polls.
It’s not just the insufferable Kamala Harris on the ballot, it’s Barack Obama, and he knows it. That’s why he has enlisted his closest peers in the media to support her, and by extension protect him. They are tied together.
