There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
Love suffereth long and is kind; doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own…
1 CORINTHIANS 13:4, 5
Religious acts done out of low motives are twice evil—evil in themselves and evil because they are done in the name of God!
This is equivalent to sinning in the name of the sinless One, lying in the name of One who cannot lie and hating in the name of the One whose nature is love.
Christians, and especially very active ones, should take time out frequently to search their souls to be sure of their motives.
Many a solo is sung to show off; many a sermon is preached as an exhibition of talent; many a church is founded as a slap at some other church.
Even missionary activity may become competitive, and soul winning may degenerate into a sort of brush salesman project to satisfy the flesh.
A good way to avoid the snare of empty religious activity is to appear before God every once in awhile with our Bibles open to the thirteenth chapter of First Corinthians. This passage, though rated one of the most beautiful in the Bible, is also one of the severest to be found in Sacred Writ.
The apostle takes the highest religious service and consigns it to futility unless it is motivated by love. Lacking love, prophets and teachers, orators, philanthropists and martyrs are sent away without reward.
To sum it up, we may say simply that in the sight of God we are judged not so much by what we do as by our reasons for doing it!1
Jerusalem at the time of the passover was one great inn; each householder had invited his own friends, but no one had invited the Saviour, and he had no dwelling of his own. It was by his own supernatural power that he found himself an upper room in which to keep the feast. It is so even to this day—Jesus is not received among the sons of men save only where by his supernatural power and grace he makes the heart anew. All doors are open enough to the prince of darkness, but Jesus must clear a way for himself or lodge in the streets. It was through the mysterious power exerted by our Lord that the householder raised no question, but at once cheerfully and joyfully opened his guestchamber. Who he was, and what he was, we do not know, but he readily accepted the honour which the Redeemer proposed to confer upon him. In like manner it is still discovered who are the Lord’s chosen, and who are not; for when the gospel comes to some, they fight against it, and will not have it, but where men receive it, welcoming it, this is a sure indication that there is a secret work going on in the soul, and that God has chosen them unto eternal life. Are you willing, dear reader, to receive Christ? then there is no difficulty in the way; Christ will be your guest; his own power is working with you, making you willing. What an honour to entertain the Son of God! The heaven of heavens cannot contain him, and yet he condescends to find a house within our hearts! We are not worthy that he should come under our roof, but what an unutterable privilege when he condescends to enter! for then he makes a feast, and causes us to feast with him upon royal dainties, we sit at a banquet where the viands are immortal, and give immortality to those who feed thereon. Blessed among the sons of Adam is he who entertains the angels’ Lord.1
THE apostle was hastening to Jerusalem, and as he knew that if he called at Ephesus he would be detained, he chose a ship which did not stop at that port. There happened, however, to be a delay at Miletus, which was twenty or thirty miles from Ephesus.
Acts 20:17–38
17 And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.
18–21 And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons, Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews: And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
22, 23 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
28–30 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
33, 34 I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel. Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. (The apostle’s inmost heart is seen in this touching farewell. His whole care was for the dear ones to whom his ministry had been useful, but whom he must now leave to be sorely tried. He forgot his own troubles in his anxiety for the converts. What a challenge he was able to give to these elders when he bade them bear witness to his labours and his tears! Such an example could not fail to arouse them to diligence; ought it not to stir us up? Are we living in Paul’s fashion? We owe as much to Jesus as he did. What are our returns? May the Lord make us ashamed of ourselves, and lead us to a great amendment in the matter of consecration to his glory.)
36 ¶ And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.
37 And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul’s neck, and kissed him.
38 Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
If the sorrow is so great to part for a while from those whom we love, how much sharper will the pangs be of those who will for ever be parted from their godly friends at the last day! How terrible will it be to be separated eternally! God grant it may not be our lot, for Jesus’ sake.
Ezekiel 21:27 — No, the three “overturns” (עַוָּ֥ה) do not symbolize the power going from Judah to Queen Elizabeth as UCG.org states. The key to the verse is not overturning – but “until he come whose right it is.” Ellicott’s Commentary for English Readers says that it’s referring to Genesis 49:10 “until Shiloh come.” We will read more in Ezekiel 34:23, and in righteous Daniel’s prophecy about He who comes (Daniel 7:14).
Ezekiel 22:3 — Again we see the top commandments of the two tablets. False gods/1st Commandment and murder/6th Commandment. God isn’t focusing on shaving the corner of the beard (Leviticus 21:5) but just the big ones. Perhaps it was the same problem that the Pharisees had (Matthew 7:3, Matthew 23:23), observing the smaller commands of the LORD but neglecting to simply worship Him!
Ezekiel 22:15 — “… thy filthiness …” We’ve just read a list of sins from Ezekiel 22:6-13. Bloodshed, oppression, vexation, lewdness, nakedness, abomination, defilement, fornication, usury, extortion, and dishonest gain. As we justify one sin, it becomes easier to justify another, and at the root of them all is “… thou … hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD” (Ezekiel 22:12).
Ezekiel 22:30 — How can we stand in the gap? Humble ourselves, pray, and seek His face (2 Corinthians 7:14).
Hebrews 10:1 — Compared with what we just read in Ezekiel, God repeated His laws and yet the people were not perfect. The sacrifices did not take away sin (Hebrews 10:4).
Hebrews 10:12 — There were no chairs in the Temple; the work was never done. Yet, Jesus Christ sat down at the right hand of God (Ephesians 1:20, Colossians 3:1, Hebrews 1:3, Hebrews 8:1, Hebrews 12:2, Revelation 3:21, Matthew 22:44). Interestingly, there is one time that Jesus is recorded as standing after His resurrection (Acts 7:55) – to welcome Stephen home. Stephen stood for Jesus Who died for him, and Jesus stood to welcome Stephen as he died for Him.
Hebrews 10:17 — The New Covenant doesn’t cover sins. It makes the God who knows everything forget my sins!
Proverbs 27:12 — No, this verse isn’t talking about the economists who have predicted 9 of the last 5 recessions … ha! And the prudent man isn’t just about how to hoard wealth better than the simple. Live holy and let God worry about your finances!

He that watereth shall be watered also himself.Proverbs 11:25
If I carefully consider others, God will consider me, and in some way or other He will recompense me. Let me consider the poor, and the Lord will consider me. Let me look after little children, and the Lord will treat me as His child. Let me feed His flock, and He will feed me. Let me water His garden, and He will make a watered garden of my soul. This is the Lord’s own promise; be it mine to fulfill the condition and then to expect its fulfillment.
I may care about myself till I grow morbid; I may watch over my own feelings till I feel nothing; and I may lament my own weakness till I grow almost too weak to lament. It will be far more profitable for me to become unselfish and out of love to my Lord Jesus begin to care for the souls of those around me. My tank is getting very low; no fresh rain comes to fill it; what shall I do? I will pull up the plug and let its contents run out to water the withering plants around me. What do I see? My cistern seems to fill as it flows. A secret spring is at work. While all was stagnant, the fresh spring was sealed; but as my stock Rows out to water others the Lord thinketh upon me. Hallelujah!
And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the beau shall be seen in the cloud.Genesis 9:14
Just now clouds are plentiful enough, but we are not afraid that the world will be destroyed by a deluge. We see the rainbow often enough to prevent our having any such fears. The covenant which the Lord made with Noah stands fast, and we have no doubts about it. Why, then, should we think that the clouds of’ trouble, which now darken our sky, will end in our destruction? Let us dismiss such groundless and dishonoring fears.
Faith always sees the bow of covenant promise whenever sense sees the cloud of affliction. God has a bow with which He might shoot out His arrows of destruction. But see, it is turned upward! It is a bow without an arrow or a string; it is a bow hung out for show, no longer used for war. It is a bow of many colors, expressing joy and delight, and not a bow blood-red with slaughter or black with anger. Let us be of good courage. Never does God so darken our sky as to leave His covenant without a witness, and even if He did, we would trust Him since He cannot change or lie or in any other way fail to keep His covenant of peace. Until the waters go over the earth again, we shall have no reason for doubting our God.
You’d be surprised how hard it is to convince some people that God has forgiven all their sins – past, present, and future.
“Sure, I believe God loved me enough to send his Son to rescue me, but has he forgiven all my sins? I’m not so sure.”
When I started Escape to Reality 15 years ago, I wrote about forgiveness every other week because so many people just couldn’t see it. They had all these crazy ideas.
Jesus said, “All sins shall be forgiven the sons of men” (Mark 3:28), but some people, including many Christians, refuse to believe him. They add all sorts of qualifiers and conditions.
Which is a bit like calling Jesus a liar.
The front door to grace
Forgiveness is like the front door to the House of Grace. If you don’t receive the full and complete forgiveness of your heavenly Father, you’ll have trouble receiving anything.
“But I’ve done bad things.” See the cross. Your sins are there.
“I sinned this morning.” The love of God keeps no record of wrongs. Fix your eyes on Jesus and receive his grace to sin no more.
“But what about this verse…”
There are many scriptures in the Bible that seem to say contradictory things about forgiveness.
Seem to, but don’t.
Here’s a picture that’s worth 1000 blog posts:
The cross changed everything.
In the old law-keeping covenant, the forgiveness of God was something to earn. But we don’t live under that covenant. We live under the new covenant of grace. Forgiveness, along with all God’s blessings, is a gift to receive and in Christ you have it.
See the difference? Before the cross, the message was, “All sins will be forgiven” (Mark 3:28). After the cross, the message became, “Proclaim forgiveness of sins in all nations” (Luke 24:47).
Read the Bible through the lens of the cross and you will see that forgiveness is not something God does, it’s something he’s done!
Do you ever wonder if you are truly secure in God’s hands? Maybe you feel the weight of your own shortcomings or worry that somehow you could slip away. In John 10:27-29, Jesus gives us a promise that reaches beyond our fears and doubts. A.W. Pink unfolds this beautifully: our salvation isn’t resting on anything we do, but on the power and faithfulness of God Himself. Between the hands of the Father and the Son, we are held—fully, completely, and forever. Read Pink’s devotion below and let this sink in: if you belong to Christ, nothing in all of creation can loosen His grip on you.
—
“My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand!” – John 10:27-29.
No stronger passage in all the Word of God, can be found guaranteeing the absolute security of every child of God. Note the seven strands in the rope which binds them to God:
First, they are Christ’s sheep, and it is the duty of the Great Shepherd to care for each of His flock! To suggest that any of Christ’s sheep may be lost, is to blaspheme the Shepherd Himself!
Second, it is said “They follow” Christ, and no exceptions are made. The Lord does not say they ought to, but declares they do follow Him. If the sheep “follow” Christ then they must reach Heaven, for that is where the Good Shepherd has gone!
Third, to the sheep is imparted “eternal life”. To speak of eternal life ending, is a contradiction in terms.
Fourth, this eternal life is “given” to them. They did nothing to merit it, consequently they can do nothing to demerit it.
Fifth, the Lord Himself declares that His sheep “shall never perish!” Consequently, the man who declares that it is possible for a child of God to go to Hell, is calling God a liar.
Sixth, from the Shepherd’s hand none is able to snatch them. Hence the Devil is unable to encompass the destruction of a single one of them.
Seventh, above them is the Father’s hand. Hence it is impossible for them to jump out of the hand of Christ, even if they tried to. It is impossible for one of Christ’s sheep to perish, even if it desired to, as though one ever did!
Christian! The hand of Christ is beneath us, and the hand of the Father is above us. Thus are we secured between the clasped hands of Omnipotence!
It has been well said, that if one soul who trusted in Christ should be missing in Heaven then there would be one vacant seat there, one crown unused, one harp unstrung; and this would grieve all Heaven, and proclaim a disappointed God. But such a thing is utterly impossible!
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus!” – Romans 8:1.
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!” – Romans 8:38-39.
24 “Truly, truly I say to you that the one who hears my Word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and does not come into judgment, but has been transferred out of death into life. (John 5:24 translated from the NA28 Greek text)
I recently listened to a discussion between several theologians as they contrasted the reaction the 1st Century Jews had to Jesus’ claim to deity with that of the heretics who came later. These 1st Century Jews took Jesus’ words in John 5 about his relationship to the Father as claims of deity, that is, making himself equal with God (John 5:18). Heretics who were not from the time of our Lord and were not Jews of that period were the ones who came up with Arianism, Modalism, etc….
Each of these types of attack on doctrine of the Holy Trinity are proofs that those doing this may have indeed heard the truth (Jesus’ Word), but they have most certainly not believed the Father who sent him. If so they would most certainly would not attack that wonderful doctrine that is so hard for the unregenerate to accept let alone believe. What did Jesus say about those who hear his Word and believe him who sent him? These have been granted eternal life. <Continue reading post>
U.S. — All staffmember at the Federal Bureau of Investigation were granted a special “Grieving Day” on Friday so they could take time off to be with their families and mourn the results of the 2024 presidential election.
FBI Director Christopher Wray made the surprise announcement that agents and other staff nationwide would get a three-day weekend after he failed to come in to work himself.
“How could anyone be expected to work during such a tragic time?” Wray said. “This is not a time to vigilantly uphold the law and protect Americans from criminal activity. This is a time for mourning. We’re all going to be out of a job soon anyway. I’m just coasting at this point.”
Even agents currently in the middle of undercover drug operations were reportedly given leave for the day, potentially ruining cases that had been worked on for years.
Agents responded well to the surprise day off, with many taking the opportunity to stay home and cry because they “can’t even.” Some, however, were more optimistic. “There’s more to life than spying on American citizens,” mused Special Agent Richter Bells. “And thanks to all my time spying on citizens, I know all the best vacation spots. This weekend is going to be lit.”
At publishing time, FBI officials advised all staff to wear their government-issued federal agent sunglasses while in public to hide their tears.
BIG NEWS: We made a movie, and you can watch the trailer NOW:
Franklin Graham believes America’s true hope can only be found in Jesus.
Speaking in the hours before the 2024 presidential election, Graham, president of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, told CBN News his biggest concern for America is our spiritual deficit. He expressed hope “somehow our nation would turn to God.”
“God’s the only one who can fix this country,” he said. “Donald Trump’s not going to be able to fix it. There’s other problems he can address and I think fix, but what we’ve done is we’ve turned our back on God as a nation, and we have accepted things — moral issues that politicians have made political, like abortion, homosexuality, these types of things the church has kind of caved on.”
Ultimately, Graham said Americans must turn their hearts back to the eternal to find spiritual healing.
“Our hearts have to be changed,” he added. “And only God can change those hearts.”
Graham wasn’t done there.
While he expressed his personal support for Trump, who is now president-elect after securing at least 295 electoral votes and is on track to win the popular vote, he kept his focus on the spiritual crisis he believes is enveloping America.
“Our country, I believe, is doomed unless we repent of our sins,” Graham said. “And call upon the name of the Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ, and turn from those sins.”
As for the moral chaos plaguing America and leading so many people away from godly values, Graham blamed the media and entertainment industry for “normalizing sin” and inflicting what he sees as a “dulling effect” that has had a profound spiritual impact.
The immorality streaming throughout culture, Graham said, has also come into the church.
“We should be shocked,” he said. “We should be embarrassed. We should never accept it within the church, and, unfortunately, in many churches have accepted sin, and the practice of sin within this congregation.”
PALM BEACH, FL — Sources close to President-Elect Donald Trump confirmed that the he would declare January 6 a new national holiday as soon as he takes office next year.
According to a press release from his transition team, Trump planned to commemorate the date by establishing it as a day of mandatory celebration for all Americans.
“It’s the greatest, most beautiful date on the calendar,” Trump said in the statement. “As soon as I take office, we will honor the PATRIOTS and GREAT AMERICANS who demonstrated their loyalty to our AMAZING COUNTRY on JANUARY 6. These wonderful people are some of our nation’s greatest heroes — far greater than the Avengers, I must say.”
Several prominent Democrats, including Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who died several times during the Jan 6 riot at the Capitol, immediately came forward to protest Trump’s plan. “It’s a slap in the face,” she said. “They might as well be spitting on all of us who lost our lives on that horrible day.”
Democrats also urged their supporters to come gather at the Capitol on January 6, 2025 and make their unhappiness with the 2024 election results known.
At publishing time, Trump had also announced plans to erect a bronze memorial statue of Peanut the squirrel on the National Mall.

Presuming we stop the down ballot steal; the scope and scale of President-Elect Trump’s victory is decisive.
Trump won the popular vote, the electoral college and smashed the Blue Wall of defense in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
Vice President Harris has conceded, and President Biden proffered a peaceful transition and showed his disappointment at Harris’s loss with a broad smile at his news conference.
Once the Trump Administration is onboard – what about the 51 Intelligence Officers that signed the infamous Hunter Biden Laptop Letter?
In October 2020, the 51 stated the Hunter Biden Laptop was Russian Dis-information. That was a lie, they knew it was a lie, and it was the greatest Election Interference Operation in American History. For several of them, their actions possibly expose them to Felony charges.
“Special Government Employees” are subject to Felony Charges under 18USC1001
I love Ivan Raiklin’s approach to the 51 and others; however, I’m going to triage and deal with the most vulnerable and the worst of the worst first.
Many of the 51 signed the infamous letter saying they were retired or former—that’s not totally true. We need to know who of the 51 was a “Special Government Employee” (SGE) and/or sitting on a Government Board or body.
An SGE is a sworn, Government Employee for their appointment.
The definition of SGE from 18USC202 reads, “shall mean an officer or employee of the executive or legislative branch of the United States Government, of any independent agency of the United States or of the District of Columbia, who is retained, designated, appointed, or employed to perform, with or without compensation, for not to exceed one hundred and thirty days during any period of three hundred and sixty-five consecutive days, temporary duties either on a full-time or intermittent basis.”
The definition is filled with further descriptive details that encompass the roles and responsibilities of an SGE – and places them fully under 18USC1001 False Statements by Federal Officials.
Any of the 51 who was in their tenure as an SGE is subject to Felony Charges and imprisonment for participating in the 51 Intel Officer Hoax.
There are many boards of advisors for the Central Intelligence Agency, the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense, the Census Bureau, the National Archivist, and the deepest part of the Deep State, the Marine Mammal Commission (the last one is meant tongue and cheek but also for Elon’s attention).
These boards are coveted positions for former or aspiring personalities. Biden unlawfully purged many Trump appointees from their appointments to make room for Biden sycophants.
Often there is pay, compensated travel, free food, and the chance to decisively influence policy—but the Holy Grail is receiving the Top-Secret clearance and billet (you need both). I’ve done the SGE paperwork for several personalities for these boards.
The Ringleaders – Blinken, Clapper, Brennan, and Hayden
When taking down nefarious RICO actors, the best strategy is to hit the worst of the worst and most vulnerable first. Don’t try to get everyone at once, make an exemplar case, put the legal crosshairs on them, squeeze the legal trigger (this is all figurative), and it is amazing how everyone starts scrambling and often cooperating.
In early 2018, after leaving Government Service, I was at the Chertoff Group office spaces in downtown Washington, D.C. meeting with someone. When they walked into the room, they asked (P.82),
“Do you wanna know who is on the other side of that drywall.” His hushed voice told me that it was someone important, and my curiosity was piqued.
“Sure, who is it?”
I was told it was General Hayden conducting his twice a week coordination call with Comey, Clapper, and Brennan.
I had to restrain myself from punching through the drywall, grabbing Hayden, dragging him through the drywall and actively questioning him. These four are a starting point – but we do need to include Blinken.
At the time (early 2018), I had no idea who Blinken was nor the UPenn Biden Center—but I do now. Blinken quarterbacked the operation. We need to subpoena the lists of all the US Government SGEs in 2020 to cross reference which boards Blinken, Clapper, Brennan, and Hayden were on.
Clapper also should be examined for him covering for Cuban Spy Ana Montes, whom he shielded when he was Defense Intelligence Agency Director. I’m not passing on Comey—I’m just pushing him to the second or third tranche.
For any military, career, political, or contract employees who try to tamper with the documents and lists – remember there is the Federal Records Act and Destruction of Evidence Charges awaiting.
Make an example of one, get the others to flip
I’ve passed so far on Michael Morell, former Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency in the first tranche of defendants – but he might be the first one to pressure into a squeal.
He’s already perjured himself in front of the House Judiciary Committee. He said it so nonchalant. As for General Hayden, he might be one also to flip into a witness for the prosecution. I’d place Blinken in the second tranche of defendants.
Once on board in the Presidency, it must be a priority to establish truth and accountability on many topics. The prime nominee for accountability are the 51 Intel Officers.
The semi-gracious concession speeches from Biden/Harris seem to be intimating that it is time to move on and let bygones be bygones. I’m not interested in re-litigating the 2020 Election Results – but the American People are owed truth and accountability from the 51 Intel Officers.
Next topic after the 51? What really happened in November 2020, January 6, the Wuhan Cover-Up, the Vaccine Scam, and so on and so on. And yes, Ivan should be one of the leads in the discovery of truth and accountability.
All viewpoints are personal and do not reflect the viewpoints of any organization.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Early reports from Capitol Hill indicated that President-Elect Donald Trump’s upcoming second term was already off to a contentious start, with Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi reportedly drafting articles of impeachment against him for his involvement in the 2024 presidential election.
“He won, and that’s against the law,” Pelosi said. “And, quite frankly, he’s admitted it. He’s admitted to winning the election, but no one is above the law.”
Though Pelosi no longer serves as Speaker of the House and was unable to cite any specific law or statute Trump had broken by winning the election, she remained determined to follow through on impeaching him again.
“He must be held accountable for this heinous crime,” Pelosi continued. “This is an urgent matter. We don’t have time to deal with citing actual reasons why he should be impeached. That’s not necessary. The important thing is to make sure he gets impeached for… something. We cannot let him be president again because that would be very bad for me, and that’s illegal.”
At publishing time, Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie, who sits on the House Judiciary Committee, thanked Pelosi for her service and assured her he would place the articles of impeachment in a brand-new special filing cabinet that looked suspiciously like a trash can.
BIG NEWS: We made a movie, and you can watch the trailer NOW:
Squawk Box co-host Joe Kernan, far left, destroys former Trump comms director Anthony Scaramucci, far right, for supporting Kamala Harris. (Credit: CNBC Screenshot)
CNBC viewers on Friday morning witnessed one of the worst beatdowns they will ever see on national television when Squawk Box co-host Joe Kernan lit up a former Trump administration official for trashing President Trump and supporting Kamala Harris.
Former Trump Communications Director Anthony “The Mooch” Scaramucci, who Trump canned after just 11 days, appeared on the network along with former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy to discuss Trump’s victory in the 2024 Presidential election and what his economic agenda could look like in a second term. But Kernan had a few things to get off his chest first: exposing Scaramucci as a complete fraud.
Scaramucci opened the door by whimpering about the nasty political rhetoric in America, ignoring the fact he and his Democrat friends smeared Trump to the point multiple lunatics felt encouraged to try to take out the now president-elect. Kenran wasted no time pointing out Scaramucci’s role, which stunned the Wall Street financier.
Kernan went on to completely destroy Scaramucci for having no shame supporting the most radical and unqualified candidate in American history while claiming to be a conservative Republican. After finishing this part of his tour de force, he demanded contrition from Scaramucci.
“Do you ever eat crow?” Kernan asked. “You’ll always find a place on TV. Just give me a little bit, Anthony, about how wrong you were.”
The Mooch got snippy in response without showing an iota of remorse. He then laughably claimed he opposed Trump because he saw how “ugly” the 45th President’s character was, rather than admitting he was livid about getting fired.
Kernan responded by roasting Scaramucci again, mockingly pointing out that he has greatly benefitted from opposing Trump and can live off this hatred for four additional years.
An annoyed Scaramucci then begged Kernan to calm down and again claimed Trump had a bad personality. The CNBC anchor concluded by correctly saying that the American people decided that there were far more critical issues.
SCARAMUCCI: How did I get heated? What did I say, Joe?
KERNAN: Anthony, you have had an utter disdain for Trump. You will always be welcome at the table of legacy media and nodding as you trash Trump.
That’s always going to happen. But aren’t you the slightest bit embarrassed about how wrong you were about most Americans and for enthusiastically supporting a candidate who a majority of people thought had no business being anywhere near the Oval Office?
And you’re a Republican, and you saw all of the different policies that she was talking about are anathema to what you thought you’re whole life. And yet you went along with it.
Do you ever eat any crow?…I mean, Michael Avenatti could still be on TV trashing Trump; you’ll always find a place (on TV ripping Trump). Just give me a little bit, Anthony, about how wrong you were.
SCARAMUCCI: Joe, first of all, I immediately put out a congratulatory tweet. They won, we lost. What would you like me to do? Do you want me to get on bended knee before you?
We have a violent disagreement about lots of things related to Trump’s personality…I got to see the “ugliness” of what he is…
KERNAN: I think he has been very good for your career, Anthony. I think he had been incredibly good (for you). You’re here, are you not? You’re going to be welcome everywhere you want to go. And you can live off this for another four years.
SCARAMUCCI: Joe, can you calm down? We’ve known each other for a long time. Are you saying that you and I can’t disagree on somebody’s personality?
KERNAN: I guess 75 million people looked at everything and decided there were other things (more important).
Israeli soccer fans attending a game in Amsterdam were violently attacked and threatened by a giant mob of Muslim immigrants armed with knives and clubs as they left the event. A fast-moving wildfire, known as the mountain fire, continues to ravage Ventura County in Southern California. People with untreated mental illness are 16 times more likely to be killed during encounters with law enforcement. The NCAA men and women tipped off earlier this week, making it a busy time for sports fans. Last year the Men’s championship game drew nearly 10 million viewers, and the popularity of women’s college basketball has never been higher.
Many anti-Trump liberal activists don’t know if they have it in them to keep up a resistance movement against President-elect Donald Trump for another four years, The New York Times reports.
The outlet spoke to multiple anti-Trumpers following Trump’s resounding re-election, who indicated they’re already finding it hard to get motivated to organize against the president-elect’s agenda, especially since he won more decisively this time than in 2016.
“So many of us are so exhausted. I don’t mean to be so bleak, but that’s how it feels today,” Cynthia Shaw, a Democratic activist and poll worker from Detroit told the Times.
Many Democratic voters became vocal anti-Trump activists in the wake of his 2016 win, organizing rallies, marches, and stumping for liberal politicians to stymie the then-president’s first-term agenda.
One of the more prominent displays of massive anti-Trump resistance happened just after he was sworn in, in 2017, when several hundred thousand Americans donned pink hats and gathered in Washington, D.C., for the Women’s March.
The opposition movement continued unabated throughout Trump’s presidency, keeping the left energized and inflaming tensions throughout the country. However, The Times reported that the movement’s passion may be dwindling.
“Now that Mr. Trump is president-elect once more, preparing to lead a still-divided country that voted more decisively in his favor this time, many of those same people are wondering if they can summon the strength to do it all — or even some of it — over again,” the outlet reported.
Resistance member and photographer from North Carolina, Ken Turco, told the outlet he’s done with political activism following Trump’s win this week. “I’m done. I’m just tired of it. Nothing ever changes in this country. There’s too many that feel differently than I do.”
Turco admitted he deleted all of his social media and news apps following the results and added that he would stop his volunteer work helping North Carolina residents rebuilding in the wake of Hurricane Helene because they live in Republican-leaning counties.
“I could care less what happens to them. They voted for it; they’re going to get it. They’re going to get everything they asked for,” Turco said.
A history professor from New Jersey, Elizabeth Hyde, told The Times she’s not sure that she would attend another Women’s March in the second Trump term.
“I found myself saying, ‘I don’t know, because it might be too dangerous,’ And I think that speaks to the changes that we’ve experienced between 2016 and today,” she said.
Manny Yekutiel, a San Francisco native who threw a party for Vice President Kamala Harris on Election Night, recognized the need for more anti-Trump resistance but admitted people are tired.
“There is a feeling of greater exhaustion. We did this already,” he said, adding, “We need to take a deep look as Democrats, as liberals, as San Franciscans, at loneliness, economic uncertainty and fear. How do we diagnose those issues and solve them?”
Not all resistance members said they were worn down. Although Colorado native Liz Folkestead admitted she Googled “How to move me and two kids to Portugal,” she told the outlet she is not done fighting.
“My anger drives a fire. I will engage. I’ll show up, I’ll march. There is solace in knowing that you’re not alone.”
Donald Trump famously dethroned the Republican establishment in 2016, and now has crushed underfoot its theory of how to forge a GOP future in an increasingly diverse country.
