NOVEMBER 9 | GOOD NEWS: HE CARES FOR YOU

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

1 PETER 5:7

I have noticed in recent years that many of the Lord’s people—not just ministers and missionaries—tend more and more to become a nervous and harried people.

I don’t claim to know everything about it. I only claim that there is hope and relief for the children of God in these terrible days, for Paul wrote to the Philippians and said, “Be anxious for nothing—the peace of God can keep your hearts and minds!”

How are we going to escape fear, when there are legitimate dangers that lie all around us?

Here’s what the man of God says: “Don’t be anxious but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God and the peace of God which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

So, Someone who is able is looking after us!

The Bible says, “He careth for you.” Jesus our Lord, says, “Your Father knows what you have need of before you ask Him.” And Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled.” And in all your afflictions, He was afflicted, the Word says.

Remember that peace of heart does not come from denying that there is trouble, but comes from rolling your trouble on God. By faith you have the right to call on One who is your brother, the Son of Man, who is also the Son of God. And if He is going to look after you, why should you worry at all!1

Evening, November 9 | “His place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.”—Isaiah 33:16

Do you doubt, O Christian, do you doubt as to whether God will fulfil his promise? Shall the munitions of rock be carried by storm? Shall the storehouses of heaven fail? Do you think that your heavenly Father, though he knoweth that you have need of food and raiment, will yet forget you? When not a sparrow falls to the ground without your Father, and the very hairs of your head are all numbered, will you mistrust and doubt him? Perhaps your affliction will continue upon you till you dare to trust your God, and then it shall end. Full many there be who have been tried and sore vexed till at last they have been driven in sheer desperation to exercise faith in God, and the moment of their faith has been the instant of their deliverance; they have seen whether God would keep his promise or not. Oh, I pray you, doubt him no longer! Please not Satan, and vex not yourself by indulging any more those hard thoughts of God. Think it not a light matter to doubt Jehovah. Remember, it is a sin; and not a little sin either, but in the highest degree criminal. The angels never doubted him, nor the devils either: we alone, out of all the beings that God has fashioned, dishonour him by unbelief, and tarnish his honour by mistrust. Shame upon us for this! Our God does not deserve to be so basely suspected; in our past life we have proved him to be true and faithful to his word, and with so many instances of his love and of his kindness as we have received, and are daily receiving, at his hands, it is base and inexcusable that we suffer a doubt to sojourn within our heart. May we henceforth wage constant war against doubts of our God—enemies to our peace and to his honour; and with an unstaggering faith believe that what he has promised he will also perform. “Lord, I believe, help thou mine unbelief.”1

November 9.—Evening. [Or September 17.] | “Follow after the things which make for peace.”

LUKE describes Paul’s interview with the brethren at Jerusalem as follows:—

Acts 21:17–24; 26–28; 30–36

17 And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.

18 And the day following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present.

19 And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry. (He did not ascribe anything to himself, but modestly and truthfully spoke of what the Lord had wrought through him.)

20–22 And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law: And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs. What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come. (Even the Jewish Christians were prejudiced against Paul, how much more would the unbelieving Jews be irritated at his presence! The elders, therefore, proposed that he should show himself to be friendly to the law of Moses by joining in one of those actions which were hardly ever performed except by the zealous.)

23–24 Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them; Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.

26 Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.

It is an open question whether he was justified in this course of action. He was certainly carrying the principle of being all things to all men quite as far as it could be defended. He must have felt that legal purifications were out of date, and he could only have consented to practise them in order to please the Jewish brethren. We ought to admire his desire for peace; yet we cannot shut our eyes to the fact that peace was not the result after all; on the contrary, this conciliatory act led to the apostle’s imprisonment, and to his being carried in bonds to Rome.

27–28 And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him, Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place. (The charges against the apostle were utterly false. Never had he spoken against the Jews, nor their temple, and so far from polluting the holy place he was doing it too much honour. Servants of God must expect to be misunderstood, and, perhaps, all the more so when for the sake of promoting harmony they yield to compromises.)

30 And all the city was moved, and the people ran together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the doors were shut. (To prevent the defiling of the place with riot and murder.)

31–33 And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief captain of the band, (or tribune of the cohort), that all Jerusalem was in an uproar, Who immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down unto them (out of the castle of Antonia which overlooked the temple), and when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, they left beating of Paul. Then the chief captain came near, and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and demanded who he was, and what he had done.

34 And some cried one thing, some another, among the multitude: and when he could not know the certainty for the tumult, he commanded him to be carried into the castle.

35, 36 And when he came upon the stairs, (which led up from the temple to the fortress,) so it was, that he was borne of the soldiers for the violence of the people. For the multitude of the people followed after, crying, Away with him. (But he was safe from their fury. The Lord has ways of rescuing his servants out of the most perilous circumstances.)1

November 9 Evening Verse of the Day

The Suitable Response to Christ’s Love

So when He had washed their feet, and taken His garments and reclined at the table again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you? You call Me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for so I am. If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you. Truly, truly, I say to you, a slave is not greater than his master, nor is one who is sent greater than the one who sent him. If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them. (13:12–17)

Having washed the disciples’ feet, and taken His garments and reclined at the table again, Jesus taught them the lesson He wanted them to learn. The theological truths pictured in verses 7–11 (Jesus’ humiliation at His first coming and the once-for-all cleansing of justification versus the daily cleansing of sanctification), though of great importance, are not the main truths the Lord sought to communicate. The primary principle Jesus wanted the disciples to learn was the importance of humble, loving service. That becomes clear because He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you? You call Me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for so I am. If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.” This was a crucial lesson for the disciples, constantly bickering over who was the greatest, to learn. If the Lord of Glory was willing to humble Himself and take on the role of the lowest of slaves, how could the disciples do any less? Jesus had once asked, “Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?” (Luke 6:46); here He was in effect saying, “Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not follow My example?”

Some argue from this passage that foot washing is an ordinance for the church, along with baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Communion). But Jesus said, “I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you,” not, “what I did to you.” Further, “Wise theologians and expositors have always been reluctant to raise to the level of universal rite something that appears only once in Scripture” (Carson, John, 468). (The only other reference to foot washing, 1 Tim. 5:10, is not in the context of a church rite, but of good deeds performed by individuals.)

To elevate the outward act of foot washing to the status of an ordinance is to minimize the important lesson Jesus was teaching. The Lord gave an example of humility, not of foot washing; His concern was for the inner attitude, not the outward rite. The latter is meaningless apart from the former.

To refuse to follow Jesus’ example of humble service is to pridefully elevate oneself above Him, since a slave is not greater than his master, nor is one who is sent greater than the one who sent him (cf. similar sayings in 15:20; Matt. 10:24; Luke 6:40; 22:27). No servant dares to regard any task as beneath him if his master has performed it.

The Lord’s concluding thought, “If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them,” reflects the biblical truth that blessing flows from obedience. The opening words of the Psalms emphasize that truth:

How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,

Nor stand in the path of sinners,

Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!

But his delight is in the law of the Lord,

And in His law he meditates day and night.

He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water,

Which yields its fruit in its season

And its leaf does not wither;

And in whatever he does, he prospers. (Ps. 1:1–3)

Psalm 119:1 declares, “How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord” (cf. Ps. 128:1). In Proverbs 16:20 Solomon declared, “He who gives attention to the word will find good, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.” “My mother and My brothers,” Jesus declared, “are these who hear the word of God and do it” (Luke 8:21). Later in Luke’s gospel, He affirmed, “Blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it” (Luke 11:28).

This passage reveals one essential way that believers can obey God and receive His blessing: by following the example of His Son. “The one who says he abides in Him,” John wrote in his first epistle, “ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked” (1 John 2:6). Serving others in the humility of love is imitating Jesus Christ (cf. Phil. 2:5).1

15 The question inevitably arises: Did Jesus intend that the church incorporate foot washing into its worship and ritual? At various times certain segments of the church have answered in the affirmative. The pedilavium was a foot-washing ceremony performed on Maundy Thursday in which an ecclesiastical superior washed, dried, and kissed the right foot of someone chosen for the occasion. Earlier commentaries refer to the practice as “ceremonial comedy” (Luther) or a “burlesque on the command of the Lord” (Reith). Verse 15 does not say that the disciples should do what Jesus had done but as he had done. It is the spirit of the act that is to be followed. The example Jesus set reflects an all-inclusive attitude toward others. It should not be limited simply to the act of washing another person’s feet.2

13:15 / An example that you should do: The context shows that Jesus has in mind primarily a moral example. But a liturgical example (i.e., that the disciples in their worship should literally act out the symbolism of the footwashing) is by no means excluded. This is especially true in light of the fact that, in this Gospel, the symbolic act of footwashing replaces the symbolic act of the institution of the Lord’s Supper. Possibly John either knows of, or is advocating, the practice of footwashing in the Christian communities with which he is familiar. Such a practice would be a way for the Christian community to dramatize the responsibility of its members to be servants to one another and so bring to full realization in the world the forgiveness and love of Jesus. It is not likely, however, that John intends an “ordinance” or “sacrament” of footwashing to displace the Lord’s Supper at the center of Christian worship. His omission of the Lord’s Supper is probably to be explained by the earlier inclusion of the synagogue discourse on the bread of life (esp. 6:52–58), which made an account of the institution superfluous. If John envisioned footwashing as a liturgical practice, he probably viewed it as part of what happened around the Lord’s table, perhaps as a preparation for the Eucharist proper.3

TODAY’S BIBLE READING CHALLENGE:
  Ezekiel 23:1-49
  Hebrews 10:18-39
  Psalm 109:1-31
  Proverbs 27:13

Ezekiel 23:3 — This graphic description of Judah & Samaria’s unfaithfulness identifies a root in Egypt. EnduringWord.com notes:

While they were still in Egypt, God told Israel to forsake the Egyptian idols – and they did not (Ezekiel 20:5-8). As previously noted in Ezekiel 20, there were several evidences of Israel’s idolatry in Egypt:

The worship of the olden calf at Mount Sinai (Exodus 32:1-6).

Joshua 24:14 made reference to their idolatry in Egypt

Jeroboam’s choice of golden calves as objects of worship (1 Kings 12:26-33).

Ezekiel 23:39 — The same day they had slain their children for idols, they came into the Lord’s sanctuary. These people committed adultery (7th Commandment), idolatry (1st & 2nd Commandment), murder (6th Commandment), and profaned the sabbaths (4th Commandment). Half of the commandments broken in just two verses! Yet, they still came to the sanctuary!

Ezekiel 23:47 — After God laid out the case against Judea and Samaria, He announces the judgment. Death by stoning, the sword, and scorching fire. At the end, they would know who is their God.

Hebrews 10:18 — Our sin is remitted – not like cancer that is in “temporary recovery,” but “the cancellation of a debt, charge, or penalty.” The price is paid – my sin is gone!

Hebrews 10:19 — What is our job now that we are redeemed? Let’s look at what follows “therefore:”

  • Consider the Priest (Hebrews 10:21) and Access the Holies (Hebrews 10:19) – We can enter God’s presence and fellowship with Him!
  • Consider the Peers (Hebrews 10:24) and Assemble together (Hebrews 10:25)
  • Consider the Punishment (Hebrews 10:28) and Act appropriately (Hebrews 10:26)

Hebrews 10:31 — This was the key verse for Jonathan Edward’s sermon ‘Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.’

One church in Enfield, Connecticut, had been largely unaffected during the Great Awakening of New England. Edwards was invited by the pastor of the church to preach to them. Edwards’s aim was to teach his listeners about the horrors of hell, the dangers of sin, and the terrors of being lost. Edwards described the shaky position of those who do not follow Christ’s urgent call to receive forgiveness. Edwards was interrupted many times during the sermon by people moaning and crying out, “What shall I do to be saved?”.

Psalm 109:3 — The Psalmist knew the right way to deal with the wicked – “I give myself unto prayer.” Let’s pray for our enemies (Matthew 5:44).

Psalm 109:27 — May God’s work point back to the hand that has done it!

Proverbs 27:13 — Surety for a stranger. It’s been awhile; this is not the first or second warning on “suretyship” we’ve noted.

“Loved unto the End” | VCY

For the Lord will not cast off for ever.Lamentations 3:31

He may cast away for a season but not forever. A woman may leave off her ornaments for a few days, but she will not forget them or throw them upon the dunghill. It is not like the Lord to cast off those whom He loves, for “having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.” Some talk of our being in grace and out of it, as if we were like rabbits that run in and out of their burrows; but, indeed, it is not so. The Lord’s love is a far more serious and abiding matter than this.

He chose us from eternity, and He will love us throughout eternity. He loved us so as to die for us, and we may therefore be sure that His love will never die. His honor is so wrapped up in the salvation of the believer that He can no more cast him of than He can cast off His own robes of office as King of glory. No, no! The Lord Jesus, as a Head, never casts off His members; as a Husband, He never casts off His bride. Did you think you were cast off? Why did you think so evil of the Lord who has betrothed you to Himself? Cast off such thoughts, and never let them lodge in your soul again. “The Lord hath not cast away his people which he foreknew” (Romans 11:2). “He hateth putting away” (Malachi 2:16).

TREASON: Military Brass Holding ‘Informal Discussions’ on How to Override Trump 47’s Orders | The Gateway Pundit

The Pentagon – Getty Images

According to CNN reports, Pentagon brass met recently to discuss and plan how to override President Trump’s 47 orders.

This smells like treason.

The military-industrial complex is infuriated that the first president in 40 years who did not start a war while in office has returned to power.

This latest report that the failed Pentagon brass who surrendered to the illiterate Taliban barbarians, donated billions of dollars in US weapons, and abandoned Bagram Air Force Base, are plotting against Trump 47 is not a complete surprise.

Retired General Mark Milley, the former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, openly refused President Trump’s requests for “National Guard or Soldiers” present at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. Milley created and environment where violence was able to take place that day.

According to the documents, General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, confirmed that President Trump expressed concern about the potential for unrest and proactively ordered the necessary precautions.

On January 3, 2021, just three days before the protest, General Milley recalled the president saying, “Hey, look at this. There’s going to be a large amount of protesters here on the 6th. Make sure that you have sufficient National Guard or Soldiers to make sure it’s a safe event.”

Not only did General Milley ignore President Trump’s order to deploy the National Guard to the US Capitol on January 6, and not only did General Milley hide this important fact from investigators and the media, but General Milley also reportedly placed the US military under his control following the January 6 riot.

General Milley was not alone in blame. As The Gateway Pundit reported previously, Nancy Pelosi also refused the National Guard at the US Capitol due to politics.

During this same time period – General Milley was also making secret calls to the Chinese promising to tip them off if President Trump took action against China.

For some reason, General Milley was never questioned, fired, or punished for his actions.

US military brass does not believe in accountability.

So, it’s not surprising that Pentagon brass recently met to discuss how they can override Trump 47’s orders.

Far-left CNN reported:

Pentagon officials are holding informal discussions about how the Department of Defense would respond if Donald Trump issues orders to deploy active-duty troops domestically and fire large swaths of apolitical staffers, defense officials told CNN…

…Trump in his last term had a fraught relationship with much of his senior military leadership, including now-retired Gen. Mark Milley who took steps to limit Trump’s ability to use nuclear weapons while he was chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The president-elect, meanwhile, has repeatedly called US military generals “woke,” “weak” and “ineffective leaders.”

Officials are now gaming out various scenarios as they prepare for an overhaul of the Pentagon.

“We are all preparing and planning for the worst-case scenario, but the reality is that we don’t know how this is going to play out yet,” one defense official said.

Trump needs to clean house of these horrible turncoats when he enters the White House.
Don’t let this continue, President Trump.

Steve Lawson Was Not a Pastor, Elder or Even a Member at Trinity Bible Church | Christian Research Network

“Steve Lawson’s adultery is worse actually.”

(Protestia) Six weeks have passed since Trinity Bible Church revealed that Steve Lawson was disqualified from “ministry activities” for having an “inappropriate relationship” with a woman who was not his wife, and a new report offers insight into why this whole situation has been so strange and murky.

According to pastors Derek Brown and Cliff McManis of Creekside Bible Church in Cupertino, California, on an episode of their podcast With All Wisdom, using information that has been “verified by the testimony of two or three witnesses,” Steve Lawson, though he previously served as a pastor of previous churches, was neither a pastor, nor an elder, nor even a member at Trinity Bible Church.

“He was not a pastor. He was not an elder at Trinity Bible Church, which we said. He was not the pastor or lead pastor of that church. He was not a member of that church.

How do I know all this? Because. I’ve been trying to get a hold of Trinity Bible Church in Texas for several weeks, and I finally got a hold of somebody that was willing to talk to me, who actually worked at the church, and they verified everything that we said.

They were reluctant to tell me that, but they agreed; he was not an elder, he was not a pastor. He was not the lead pastor. They kind of waffled when I said, “was he a member?” They didn’t want to tell me, but it was pretty obvious he wasn’t.

And they also agreed and acknowledged that as far as they know, the elders at their church are not the ones managing the Matthew 18 process with him of discipline because they can’t.”

Notably, the original announcement from Trinity reads, “The elders at Trinity Bible Church of Dallas regretfully announce that effective immediately, Steven J. Lawson has been removed indefinitely from all ministry activities at Trinity Bible Church of Dallas.”

Notice that while he was removed indefinitely from all ministry activities, he wasn’t removed from a position. He was removed from all ministry activities, but he wasn’t removed from being an elder or pastor.

So what was Lawson if he wasn’t their pastor or elder?

He was the regular guest preacher, otherwise known as the “Lead Preacher,” receiving a dispensation from the elders to preach the sermon and then depart once the message was done.

“What we know now is Steve Lawson didn’t want to be a pastor. He was a pastor at two previous churches that didn’t go well. There was division, there were church splits. It’s kind of an ugly history. And then he got to a point and said, I don’t want to be a pastor. And they honored his wishes, and he just was a teacher. He was a guest teacher at all these places, guest teacher at Ligonier and Trinity Church.”

The revelation tracks with what several members of Trinity Bible Church have reported to us, saying that Lawson’s scandalous affair opened their eyes to how problematic and challenging some of his behavior was, which was never really questioned or considered but now is glaring in light of this new exposure.

Members report that he would show up on Sundays, head straight to the back, preach the sermon, and then leave almost immediately after, rarely sticking around to shake hands or spend time talking to congregants because he had to “guard his time.”

Some exemptions were made for some of the young adult groups, but by and large, he was rarely around and was functionally inaccessible to the congregants- just like one might expect a guest preacher to be. They have speculated that this distance from the flock has played a role in him feeling he wasn’t accountable to them because they never really knew him, nor him them, and therefore was able to live a double life.

Because he’s not a member, elder, or pastor, the hosts suggest the church has no ability to hold him accountable in ways they would if he were, pointing out how this changes the conversation from groups that initially chastised others.

“But this is important because you go back to the very beginning when we were being lectured by all kinds of people, including G3 Ministries (who) made a statement early on and said we need to let the local elders at Trinity Bible Church handle this and the discipline process and the restoration process, and the rest of us need to just be hands off, be quiet, don’t ask questions. Literally. Leave it to the local church. And then Tim Challies in his panel said the same thing. It’s kind of a rebuke. ‘You Christians out there, quit trying to micromanage this. This is the local church elders’ responsibility. Trust them. They’re godly men.’ They’re saying that in ignorance. And so now Trinity Church admits, ‘we can’t do anything. So who’s holding him accountable?”

Brown and McManis explain why accountability is so important in a previous episode on the same topic:

“Steve Lawson needs to be held accountable because of James 3:1, and yet that’s the responsibility of the local church elders, and he’s a Bible teacher, but he’s not even a member of that church. So the local elders of Trinity can’t hold him accountable- he’s not cooperating. You say he has to be held accountable, and the question is, how? Yeah. I mean, how do you… He has no (unintelligible) place of accountability. He’s just been serving in all these areas of ministry, different ministries.

He’s a guest preacher at Trinity Bible Church. He’s at the D.Min program at the Masters Seminary, how are they going to hold them accountable, first and foremost? It’s not their responsibility; he’s not a member of Grace Church. And the seminary there is not a church. Ligonier is not a church, and he’s on the board there and the teaching fellow there. So do they hold them accountable? One Passion Ministries, that’s his ministry. He’s the man. He runs the thing. He’s the founder, CEO, and president. Who’s going to hold him accountable there? And how do you hold him accountable for a parachurch ministry?

So there’s really no ultimate accountability for not a member of a local church.

Those parachurch ministries don’t have a structure of church discipline like the church does, and Jesus handing the keys over to the church saying, ‘that’s our responsibility’ to hold someone like him accountable. And so no one has the instrument by which to hold him accountable, it seems, which is remarkable.”

Ultimately, the model of building the local church on the backs of guest preachers demonstrates a compromised ecclesiology that is so intrinsically and fundamentally flawed that it betrays a foundational problem. This whole notion of “I’ll preach at your church all the time but I won’t be your pastor” suggests Trinity Bible Church’s faulty ecclesiology is at least partially, if not significantly, to blame in this kind of situation, and explains why they are so reticent to speak up now.

As far as where Lawson is in this whole process, he has ghosted everybody and has been exceedingly uncooperative.

With most cases of the revelation of disqualifying sin, the guilty pastor fesses up and spills his guts, admits his faults, comes clean, repents, and the process of restoration back into the body begins. With Lawson, this has yet to happen, presenting a unique situation.

Reportedly, he presently resides in Tennessee, and his wife and daughter, the latter of whom just had a baby, his grandchild, remain in Dallas.

The Media Ran an Autopsy on Why Kamala Lost. You’ll Never BELIEVE the Results!

Following President-elect Donald Trump’s blowout victory, the mainstream media ran an autopsy on where the Kamala Harris campaign went wrong. The results? Liberal pundits agreed that Harris’s campaign was “flawlessly run” and that the real culprits are “misogyny and racism.” Political strategists placed blame on a “right-wing media ecosystem,” saying that Democrats “don’t have the equivalent of Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson” to “move [a] man in a feminist direction.”

The Nation Is Healing: 9 Miraculous Events Since Trump Won The Election | Babylon Bee

Our long national nightmare is over. Donald Trump has been elected president again and life in the United States — and, indeed, the world — will never be the same again. Need further proof? Consider this selection of undeniable miracles that have taken place in just the short time since Trump won the election.

  1. Feminists are shaving their heads so everyone can easily identify them: No more worrying about which women are shrill harpies.
  2. McDonald’s announced that the McRib would now be available permanently: No more shall anyone go without press-formed ambiguous meat patties.
  3. Airline stewardesses are wearing hotpants and roller skates again: Also, you can now call them “stewardesses” again without getting in trouble.
  4. Disney will stop making Star Wars: The spread of darkness and evil has come to a merciful end.
  5. Joe Biden rose from the dead: He came back to life to give a speech but promptly died again.
  6. Liberal women spontaneously stopped procreating: An answer to decades of fervent prayers.
  7. RFK, Jr.’s voice was immediately healed after he touched the hem of Trump’s slacks: But upon hearing him speak clearly, everyone agreed that he sounded pretty liberal.
  8. The Rio Grande parted to allow migrants to be deported on dry ground: They can return the same way they came, but their feet will stay dry this time.
  9. A rainbow appeared in the sky, signaling God’s promise to never let Kamala Harris run for president again: Never again will the Lord destroy the earth with incessant cackling.

None of this could have happened unless the nation was truly healing from decades of division. Have you noticed any other signs and wonders? Post them in the comments below.

Sad: Liberal Forced To Have Second Meltdown After Forgetting To Press Record | Babylon Bee

Article Image

BURBANK, CA — Liberal woman Marcie Galveston was forced to film herself having a second post-election meltdown this week after she realized she forgot to hit the record button on her phone the first time around.

“WHY??? WHY?????” screeched Galveston, tears running down her cheeks. “I’m shaking, I’m so terrified! Look what you did, you sick freaks! I’m literally no longer safe as a woman, are you happy? I just can’t believe over half the country is so RACIST and SEXIST and… oh wait a second. My phone isn’t on. Aw, man. Gonna have start this whole thing from the beginning.”

Despite the setback, Galveston worked hard to drum up new tears and access that same level of rage as she set her phone up against the kitchen backsplash a second time and put it on selfie mode.

“Yeesh, it’s hard to get that level of emotion on a second take,” she said. “Come on, Marcie, you can do this. Think about the trans gulags, the internment camps for gays. ARGH. The tears aren’t coming, the tears aren’t coming!”

At publishing time Galveston was seen holding an onion under her eyes while reading The New York Times in an effort to spark tears of rage again.
