There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
▶️Thomas Watson playlist: • Puritan Thomas Watson Thomas Watson – (ca. 1620-1686), English non-conformist Puritan preacher and author
Watson was educated at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, where he was noted for remarkably intense study. In 1646 he commenced a sixteen year pastorate at St. Stephen’s, Walbrook. He showed strong Presbyterian views during the civil war, with, however, an attachment to the king, and in 1651 he was imprisoned briefly with some other ministers for his share in Christopher Love’s plot to recall Charles II of England. He was released on June 30, 1652, and was formally reinstated as vicar of St. Stephen’s Walbrook.
Watson obtained great fame and popularity as a preacher until the Restoration, when he was ejected for nonconformity. Notwithstanding the rigor of the acts against dissenters, Watson continued to exercise his ministry privately as he found opportunity. Upon the Declaration of Indulgence in 1672 he obtained a license to preach at the great hall in Crosby House. After preaching there for several years, his health gave way, and he retired to Barnston, Essex, where he died suddenly while praying in secret. He was buried on 28 July 1686.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine …and they shall turn away their ears from the truth…. 2 TIMOTHY 4:3, 4
Any evangelism which by appeal to common interests and chatter about current events seeks to establish a common ground where the sinner can feel at home is as false as the altars of Baal ever were. Every effort to smooth out the road for men and to take away the guilt and the embarrassment is worse than wasted: it is evil and dangerous to the souls of men! One of the most popular of current errors, and the one out of which springs most of the noisy, blustering religious activity in evangelical circles, is the notion that as times change the church must change with them. Christians must adapt their methods by the demands of the people. If they want ten-minute sermons, give them ten-minute sermons! If they want truth in capsule form, give it to them! If they want pictures, give them plenty of pictures! If they like stories, tell them stories! Meanwhile, the advocates of compromise insist that “The message is the same, only the method changes.” “Whom the gods would destroy they first make mad,” the old Greeks said, and they were wiser than they knew. That mentality which mistakes Sodom for Jerusalem and Hollywood for the Holy City is too gravely astray to be explained otherwise than as a judicial madness visited upon professed Christians for affronts committed against the Spirit of God!

The life of the patriarch Joseph is very beautiful and interesting, as a history only; and the several incidents arising out of it are such as cannot but more or less affect every heart. But when we have gone through the whole relation, in the mere letter of the word, we are constrained to believe, that in the spiritual sense and meaning of it, almost every thing in the life of Joseph was typical of Jesus. I would not strain scripture upon any account. Neither would I frame to myself any thing fanciful of Jesus, and his blessed offices; so as to see him where he is not. But I cannot but think, that since in so many instances, as is universally allowed, Joseph is a lively type of Christ, the Holy Ghost, in his glorifying the Lord Jesus, was, in many cases, pleased to shadow forth somewhat of the Redeemer where he is not at first so immediately discovered. Whether in the passage I have just read, for the present evening’s meditation, there be any thing typical of Jesus, I know not; but to those who, like Philip, have “found him of whom Moses in the law and the prophets did write, Jesus of Nazareth,”—the coat of the patriarch, dipped in the blood of the kid, may minister in leading the heart to the contemplation of Jesus, who appeareth unceasingly in his priestly garments, in the presence of God our Father, for us. And may not a believer humbly take up the language of faith, when drawing nigh to our God and Father in Christ Jesus; and when we enter, as it were, into his retirings, with earnest prayer, and earnest pleadings, seeking favour in and through Jesus, may we not in the arms of our faith bring the vesture of Jesus dipped in blood, and say, This have we found; know now, whether it be Jesus’s, thy dear and ever blessed Son’s vesture, or no? Oh! for faith to behold Christ, as the Father beheld him, when he set him forth to the Church; and to love him as God our Father loved him. And how surely will God confirm his own gracious testimony concerning him, and say, as the patriarch, or in words to the same effect: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!

Without considering these words in their prophetical connection, let us regard them as the invitation of our great Forerunner to his sanctified people. In due time there shall be heard “a great voice from heaven” to every believer, saying, “Come up hither.” This should be to the saints the subject of joyful anticipation. Instead of dreading the time when we shall leave this world to go unto the Father, we should be panting for the hour of our emancipation. Our song should be—
“My heart is with him on his throne,
And ill can brook delay;
Each moment listening for the voice,
‘Rise up and come away.’ ”
We are not called down to the grave, but up to the skies. Our heaven-born spirits should long for their native air. Yet should the celestial summons be the object of patient waiting. Our God knows best when to bid us “Come up thither.” We must not wish to antedate the period of our departure. I know that strong love will make us cry,
“O Lord of Hosts, the waves divide,
And land us all in heaven;”
but patience must have her perfect work. God ordains with accurate wisdom the most fitting time for the redeemed to abide below. Surely, if there could be regrets in heaven, the saints might mourn that they did not live longer here to do more good. Oh, for more sheaves for my Lord’s garner! more jewels for his crown! But how, unless there be more work? True, there is the other side of it, that, living so briefly, our sins are the fewer; but oh! when we are fully serving God, and he is giving us to scatter precious seed, and reap a hundredfold, we would even say it is well for us to abide where we are. Whether our Master shall say “go,” or “stay,” let us be equally well pleased so long as he indulges us with his presence.
Spurgeon, C. H. (1896). Morning and evening: Daily readings. Passmore & Alabaster.
AND Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness. 2 And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go. (Though his proud spirit defied Jehovah, he had before long good reason to know who Jehovah was.) 3 And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days’ journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword. (This was by no means a large demand, and was doubtless meant to be a test question. He who would not yield the less would be sure to refuse the greater.) 4 And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let (or hinder) the people from their works? get you unto your burdens. (With what impudent scorn he defied the messengers of the Lord, haughtily treating them as slaves, who had better go back to their labour at once.) 6, 7, 8, 9 And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying, Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore, let them go and gather straw for themselves. And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God. Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard vain words. (As the bricks were made of mud mixed with straw, and the straw had hitherto been supplied to them in the brickfields, it was a heavy addition to their toils when they had to collect straw themselves.) 10, 11 ¶ And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spake to the people, saying, Thus saith Pharaoh, I will not give you straw. Go ye, get you straw where ye can find it: yet not ought of your work shall be diminished. 12, 13 So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble instead of straw. And the taskmasters hasted them, saying, Fulfil your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw. 14 And the officers of the children of Israel, which Pharaoh’s taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and demanded, Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and today, as heretofore? 15, 16 Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore dealest thou thus with thy servants? There is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants are beaten; but the fault is in thine own people. (These poor Israelitish officers thought that the Egyptian taskmasters were unwarrantably keeping back the straw, but indeed they were acting under the King’s own orders.) 17, 18, 19 But he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye say, Let us go and do sacrifice to the LORD. Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the tale of bricks. And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, Ye shall not minish ought from your bricks of your daily task. 20, 21 And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh: And they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge: because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us. Things are always worst when they are about to mend, but these downcast spirits could not see far before them. 22 And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me? 23 For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all. Moses did well thus to refer the case to the Lord. Let us bring all our troubles to our heavenly Father.
Mighty Redeemer set me free
From my old state of sin,
O break these bonds of slavery,
This iron worn within.
From daily load and daily smart
Thy pleading captive free,
Then shall my liberated heart
Thy willing servant be.

Exodus 28:1 — In a few days we’ll hear more about Nadab and Abihu, but interestingly God has called unregenerate people throughout the Bible to serve Him. Jesus called Judas (Matthew 10:4) to be His disciple.
Exodus 28:40 — What were the two purposes for the clothing? Glory and beauty. God encourages us to think on lovely things (Philippians 4:8). Answers in Genesis (AiG) has an interesting point – only a Designer can add beauty for the sake of beauty.
Matthew 25:31 — We are two thousand years closer to this date than the disciples were. At the Second Coming, at the start of the Millennium, our King will come in His glory! Jesus is still on the Mount of Olives, telling His disciples about when He returns to the Mount of Olives in glory (Acts 1:11)!
Matthew 25:40 — Is Jesus teaching a works salvation? Here’s what John MacArthur says:
“People who get confused here and somehow miss verse 34 because verse 34 makes it very clear the basis of their entrance into the Kingdom. It’s extremely clear. First of all, “Come … here comes number one point … ye blessed of My Father.” That emphasizes the source of their salvation. You are blessed of My Father. You are entering into the Kingdom because My Father has determined to bless you … And then it says, “Come you who are the blessed who belong to My Father, inherit … inherit,” which implies something very important. You inherit something because you are born into a family, right? It implies again that they belong to the family of God, to which you belong by faith. You inherit what is yours because by faith you have become a joint heir with Christ if we can sort of borrow Paul’s thought in Romans 8.”
Matthew 25:41 — ”Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.” Hell is real!
Psalm 31:18 — Take a second and enjoy the beautiful phrasing of the first phrase: the alliteration and the contrast as the Psalmist calls for silence from the liars.
Proverbs 8:13 — What is your relationship with evil, pride, arrogancy, the evil way, and the froward mouth?

For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. (Jeremiah 31:34)
When we know the Lord, we receive the forgiveness of sins. We know Him as the God of grace, passing by our transgressions. What a joyful discovery is this!
But how divinely is this promise worded: the Lord promises no more to remember our sins! Can God forget? He says He will, and He means what He says. He will regard us as though we had never sinned. The great atonement so effectually removed all sin that it is to the mind of God no more in existence. The believer is now in Christ Jesus, as accepted as Adam in his innocence; yea, more so, for he wears a divine righteousness, and that of Adam was but human.
The great Lord will not remember our sins so as to punish them, or so as to love us one atom the less because of them. As a debt when paid ceases to be a debt, even so doth the Lord make a complete obliteration of the iniquity of His people.
When we are mourning over our transgressions and shortcomings, and this is our duty as long as we live, let us at the same time rejoice that they will never be mentioned against us. This makes us hate sin. God’s free pardon makes us anxious never again to grieve Him by disobedience.
I love Bobby Conway. I just wanted to say that up front before I tell you about his important book. I love Bobby’s heart, his “perfect imperfection”, his humility and his transparency. I also love that he’s one of the few full-time pastors in the country who is also an accomplished Christian Case Maker. Bobby gets it. He’s both the pastor of Life Fellowship Church in Huntersville, North Carolina and the face of the One Minute Apologist video series. Bobby has been shepherding a smart, apologetically engaged church for some time now, but he will be quick to tell you that, even as the informed leader of this community, he’s not immune to doubt. Bobby is an excellent example: Even those who are fully aware of the strength of the case for Christianity are sometimes susceptible to questioning.
And that’s OK.
Bobby Conway has written a valuable book addressing this important issue. Doubting Toward Faith: The Journey to Confident Christianity is powerful because it’s incredibly thoughtful and honest. Bobby writes with the heart of a pastor and the mind of an apologist, and for this reason I want to commend the book to my readers. If you’re a fan of ColdCaseChristianity.com, you may be interested in Christian Case Making because you’re working through your own doubt. If this is the case, you’ll find Bobby’s book a blessing.
Bobby will help you think clearly about your own struggles. He acknowledges the troubling nature of doubt, but offers an insightful bit of encouragement: “…doubt is so disturbing. It splits the mind. Contrary to popular belief, intellectual doubt is not the opposite of faith; unbelief is. Doubt is in between, seesawing and dangling in the middle. Yet, make no mistake. Doubt never stays put. It’s not neutral. It makes up its mind. It’s directional. It’s going somewhere. This means a person will either doubt toward unbelief or they will doubt toward faith.” So how can we channel the directional nature of doubt? That’s what Bobby’s book is all about.
One of the best aspects of Bobby’s book is found in Chapters Four and Five where he lists a number of “Doubt Triggers”. I don’t want to give away the farm here, but these two chapters are worth the price of admission for me, as they seem to capture the source of doubt for most of us. Here’s Bobby’s list of triggers; see if any of these have been the culprit in your own battles with doubt:
Trigger 1: The Apparently Ridiculous (Elements of the Bible)
Trigger 2: Demanding Certainty
Trigger 3: Life’s Injustices
Trigger 4: Apparent Bible Contradictions
Trigger 5: The Problem of Suffering and Evil
Trigger 6: The Weight of Unconfessed Sin
Trigger 7: Internet Bloggers
Trigger 8: Failing to Radically Seek God
Trigger 9: A Misguided Relationship to Prayer
Bobby admits his own struggles along the way and his discussions of these 9 triggers is incredibly helpful (He offers a response and an overarching strategy for dealing with doubt in the following chapters). Doubting Toward Faith is written so you can leverage its content in your own spiritual journey. There are questions at the end of each chapter so you (or your small group) can think and discuss what’s been presented. Doubting Toward Faith is also the perfect companion to Bobby’s extensive work at the OneMinuteApologist.com. Read Bobby’s book, then begin watching the hundreds of videos he’s created to provide “credible answers to curious questions.” Doubt can lead you in one of two directions; Bobby Conway’s book can help you employ your doubt to strengthen what you believe. Yes, it’s possible to doubt toward faith.

Israel365 honors Trump for honoring Israel While it was clear even before his inauguration that President Trump was going to put Israel at the top of his agenda, this point was hammered home when he chose to meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu at the White House as the first foreign leader to do so. At their joint press conference on Tuesday, Trump presented his vision of the Middle East, which included an expansion of the Abraham Accords and a US-controlled Hamas-free Gaza.
War Room Veterans See Global Strategy in Trump’s Gaza Announcement Rabbi Wolicki highlighted a crucial point about responsibility: “Let’s start pointing the finger of responsibility where it belongs. The Qataris funded this, the Egyptians facilitated it, the Iranians funded it. Let them pay the price for the results.” The discussion on War Room addressed both practical challenges and strategic considerations. When asked about potential destinations for Gaza’s population, Rabbi Wolicki suggested examining “the list of all of the countries that have been professing their undying commitment to Palestine.”
Trump remarks on Gaza not cause for Democrat freakout, Fetterman says As many of his Democratic peers in Congress respond very vocally to everything that U.S. President Donald Trump says, Sen. The Most Powerful Convergence of Prophetic Events Since the 1948 Rebirth of Israel, Begins Now After the recent fantastic Trump win in America, it would seem this would be the most inopportune moment to cast a shadow on the future. But reality takes no holidays, and while prophecy may seem like some sort of outlier, it is, in fact, a thousand times more important than any major event in history. It is the very culmination of history as we know it. World events have forced together four major occurrences that now have converged to create the basis of the most prophetically charged moment in world history.
Iran speeding up work on its nukes, two new reports say Two conflicting reports on Iran’s nuclear weapons program were disclosed this week. Both reports offer important insight into just how Tehran is speeding up work on nuclear weapons…The US Intelligence briefing says that Iran is trying to develop a nuclear weapon “faster” although the resulting weapon will be “cruder.” US intelligence attaches a caveat to its new information, declaring that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has not made a decision to develop a nuclear weapon.
Major Food Supply Alert! Just In Time, A Deadly New Strain Of H5N1 Threatens To Make Our Egg And Beef Shortages Even Worse We just received some very serious news. The extremely deadly D1.1 strain of the H5N1 bird flu which has been ripping through the nation’s poultry population in recent weeks has now gotten into the cattle population in the state of Nevada. This is the very first time that cattle in the U.S. have ever tested positive for this strain. What this means is that we are facing a very serious threat to our food supply. As I detailed earlier this week, the U.S. is dealing with the worst egg shortage that it has ever experienced, and it is likely to get even worse as this new strain spreads. Meanwhile, the size of the U.S. cattle herd could be reduced even further by this new strain, and it is already at the lowest level that we have seen since 1961…
1,500 Displaced As Terrorists Raid, Burn Christian Communities In Nigeria Boko Haram militants raided Christian communities in the northeastern part of Nigeria last week, displacing more than 1,500 people. During the early morning raid in the villages of Shikarkir and Yirmirmug, the militants, aspiring to institute an Islamic caliphate, threatened Christians that if they refused to convert to Islam, they would face death. The militants killed eight Christians and destroyed 57 homes. A church known as Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa was ravaged, as well as food supplies, livelihood and livestock, International Christian Concern (ICC) reported.
Israel to withdraw from UN Human Rights Council Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar announced on Wednesday that Israel would no longer participate in the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) after the US announced it would be leaving the council as well.
WikiLeaks: USAID Has Been Funding Over 6,000 Journalists Worldwide Across Nearly 1000 Platforms Yesterday’s report that the US government has been funding outlets such as Politico, the Associated Press, the BBC, and others raised more questions than it answered – though the obvious implication is that the US government has effectively been propping up regime-friendly media, which then peddles regime-friendly coverage – and spent years attacking independent outlets such as ZeroHedge, The Federalist, and many unlucky ones who have since been starved out of business.
USAID gave Gates, Soros and WEF initiatives billions of dollars The US Agency for International Development (“USAID”) is facing a shutdown as the Trump administration has ordered nearly all staff to be placed on leave starting on Friday, with overseas missions being closed. USAID’s shutdown isn’t just a bureaucratic reshuffle – it’s a direct hit to the globalist stronghold that’s funnelled billions into Bill Gates’ vaccine empire, George Soros-backed regime change and the World Economic Forum’s dystopian vision.
Argentina withdraws from WHO In another blow to the Globalists, yesterday, Manuel Adorni, the spokesperson for the Presidency of Argentina, held a press conference where he announced that Argentina would withdraw from the World Health Organization (“WHO”). “Argentines won’t allow for an international organization to intervene in our sovereignty, much less in our health,” Adorni said.

Trump signs EO protecting Christians: “The mission of this task force will be to immediately halt all forms of anti-Christian targeting and discrimination within the federal government, including at the DOJ, which was absolutely terrible. The IRS, the FBI, terrible.” So said Donald Trump yesterday upon signing an executive order aimed at fighting “anti-Christian bias.” It seems sad that such an order would even be necessary, but anti-Christian bias, along with anti-white-male bias, is among the Left’s favorite bigotries. Trump tapped AG Pam Bondi to lead a new task force to this end, and the announcement immediately came under fire from the usual suspects, including Rachel Laser of Americans United for Separation of Church and State. “Rather than protecting religious beliefs,” she said, “this task force will misuse religious freedom to justify bigotry, discrimination and the subversion of our civil rights laws.”
Federal worker buyout paused: The Thursday deadline for federal workers’ option to decide on a resignation and buyout offered by the Trump administration has been put on hold by U.S. District Judge George O’Toole, who issued a temporary pause of the deadline until he can investigate and determine whether or not to grant a restraining order. The American Federation of Government Employees union sued to stop Donald Trump’s buyout offer, which is intended to shrink the size of the government. The buyout offer gave federal employees their salaries and benefits for eight months. The White House estimates that 5% to 10% of federal workers would take the deal — roughly 60,000 already have — saving the government $100 billion.
Dems judge-shop to keep DOGE from accessing payment records: Having long ago lost the arguments in favor of Big Government and trillion-dollar deficits, the Democrats are, predictably, resorting to rank obstruction to stop Elon Musk’s cost-cutting Department of Government Efficiency from exposing their profligacy. On Wednesday, three Democrat proxies — the Alliance for Retired Americans, the American Federation of Government Employees, and the Service Employees International Union — found a friendly ear, that of 81-year-old U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, who issued an order temporarily limiting members of DOGE from accessing the Treasury Department’s payment system. Anything to protect the deep state. We’re shocked to report that Kollar-Kotelly is a Clinton appointee, a Trump J6 pardon critic, and the former presiding judge of the FISA Court. Her order says that two DOGE workers can have “read only” access to payment records but can’t amend the payment system or share its data.
Dems delay Patel FBI vote: Kash Patel, whose sterling credentials for becoming the next director of the FBI have all but assured his Senate confirmation, must now wait while Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee drag their feet, having yesterday executed a procedural move to delay a full floor vote until next week. “This is an unusual nomination, and it’s a 10-year nomination,” said ranking member Dick Durbin, laughably adding that the delay helps to “make sure that we took politics out of the equation.” Of course, this is the same Dick Durbin who also smeared Patel as “part of this lionization of these thugs who took over the Capitol.” While Durbin and his ilk try to paint Patel as an extremist, he’s really a much-needed reformer. Yes, the Democrats can delay, but they can’t deny.
ICC sanctions: On Thursday, Donald Trump did what Congress failed to do — he signed an executive order raising sanctions against the illegitimate International Criminal Court for its issuing of arrest warrants against Israelis leaders, specifically Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, for the dubious charge of “war crimes.” The order raises financial and travel restrictions against ICC officials who target Americans, Israelis, or any other U.S. ally. The U.S. has long rejected the self-appointed global jurisdiction of the ICC, and for good reason: It has repeatedly demonstrated an anti-Israel bias.
Trump sues Illinois: The Trump administration filed suit against the sanctuary jurisdictions of Chicago and Illinois just a day after Trump Attorney General Pam Bondi was sworn in. Mayor Brandon Johnson and Governor J.B. Pritzker are thus on the receiving end of an injunction that blocks local and state laws, which, according to the suit, attempt to thwart the federal government’s enforcement of immigration laws and are therefore in violation of the Constitution’s supremacy clause. Just for good measure, Bondi put a pause on federal grants from the DOJ to the crime-ridden hellhole of Chicago. “Instead of working with us to support law enforcement, the Trump administration is making it more difficult to protect the public,” whined Pritzker. Border Czar Tom Homan begs to differ. “We’re gonna hold sanctuary cities accountable,” he said. “We’re gonna take ‘em on, and we’ll take ’em to court.”
Stop building EV chargers Biden wasn’t building The Trump administration has halted the non-construction of Joe Biden’s EV charging stations. On Thursday, the Federal Highway Administration stopped spending on Biden’s $5 billion EV-charging network boondoggle. Only 55 of the 500,000 EV charging stations planned by 2030 have been constructed. The National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program was part of Biden’s efforts to force EVs onto the American public. Several states had already paused their EV charger programs before this order. If EVs were the solution, they would not require billions in taxpayer subsidies to compete in the free market.
Michigan Dem state rep sterilizes herself over Trump: In what is both laughable and tragic at the same time, a Democrat Michigan state representative just demonstrated the insanity Trump Derangement Syndrome can cause. Representative Laurie Pohutsky announced that she had sterilized herself in response to Donald Trump’s return to the presidency. “I refuse to let my body be treated as currency by an administration that only sees value in my ability to procreate,” the 36-year-old Democrat told a crowd of protesters. “If you know people who are questioning how serious this is, I’m going to repeat myself: A sitting government official opted for voluntary sterilization because she was uncertain she would be able to access contraception in the future.” Well, at least she no longer has the possibility of aborting a preborn baby.

Just a few days ago, the Trump administration, via DOGE, unmasked some serious waste at USAID. At the same time, many American taxpayers learned there was something called USAID.
President John F. Kennedy created the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in 1961, tasking it with overseeing humanitarian aid worldwide. Who doesn’t love humanitarian assistance?
Well, it turns out that when you allocate a huge pot of money to do-gooders, some of them become con artists, hucksters, and thieves who use that money as a slush fund for their pet causes.
As our Emmy Griffen detailed on Tuesday, USAID was rife with waste, fraud, and abuse. We’ve learned even more since then, including USAID money funding a slew of Leftmedia outlets. If you thought NPR and PBS were the only ones on the federal dole, you thought wrong. On Thursday, President Donald Trump ordered every one of those media contracts canceled.
He called USAID a “tremendous fraud.” In a statement, the White House said it had been “unaccountable to taxpayers as it funnels massive sums of money to the ridiculous — and, in many cases, malicious — pet projects of entrenched bureaucrats, with next-to-no oversight.” Those include things like $2.5 million for EVs in Vietnam and $2 million for sex changes and “LGBT activism” in Guatemala.
Trump used Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to expose all this and turn off the spigot. Trump put Secretary of State Marco Rubio in charge of the agency with the objective of cleaning house.
Just as money can turn good people bad, exposing the rot can provoke some angry reactions. It’s like the demotivational poster about consulting: “If you’re not a part of the solution, there’s good money to be made in prolonging the problem.”
On Thursday, the Trump administration brought a whole new meaning to cleaning house, saying it will cancel roughly 800 contracts and awards, as well as reduce the number of USAID workers from more than 10,000 to just 294. What’s left of the operation will be folded into the State Department.
Yeah, read that again.
When you cut government bloat like that, the people who benefit from the grift fight back. In a matter of hours, the American Federation of Government Employees — the nation’s largest public union — and the American Foreign Service Association filed suit in hopes of blocking Trump’s “unconstitutional and illegal actions,” which they absurdly claim “generated a global humanitarian crisis.”
Rubio argued that “we have rank insubordination” among USAID employees. They’ve been “completely uncooperative, so we had no choice but to take dramatic steps to bring this thing under control.”
Those dramatic steps can cause upheaval for some who work hard and don’t deserve to be ousted. On a personal level, I have some compassion for folks who just show up to work every day and suddenly have to make arrangements to move from overseas to the States and figure out a new life. Among 10,000 people, there will be some — maybe quite a few — good ones who are collateral damage.
Yet when an agency and system are so thoroughly corrupted, it’s hard to imagine what more delicate approach would actually solve the problem — and it is a problem.
“Charity is no part of the legislative duty of the government,” James Madison told the House of Representatives in 1794 during a debate over a humanitarian crisis involving Haitian refugees coming to New England. Should Congress allocate $15,000 to help them? Clearly not, argued the man who wrote the Constitution.
That was here in the U.S. Never mind doling out exponentially more money to other nations. Oh, but foreign aid makes up less than 1% of the federal budget, the Leftmedia reassures us. Well, as DOGE put it recently, “The last time a comprehensive review of the federal government was completed in 1984, the budget was $848 billion, national debt was $1.6 trillion & debt to GDP ratio was 38%. The budget is now $7 trillion, the national debt is $35.3 trillion & the debt to GDP ratio is 121.6%.”
Gotta start somewhere.
I’m not arguing that humanitarian needs aren’t real or don’t require money. Madison wasn’t arguing that either. At the same time, most Americans work darn hard for our paychecks, and before those checks even hit our bank accounts, the federal government has taken its cut. It’s well past time for some accountability on how every last cent is spent.

President Donald Trump’s decision to appoint Paula White, a controversial televangelist and longtime spiritual adviser, as head of the reestablished White House faith office has ignited widespread criticism, especially from within the Christian community.
White, 57, is known for her association with the prosperity gospel movement, which teaches that faith can lead to material wealth and personal well-being. This belief has led many Orthodox Christian leaders to label her a “heretic.” Her appointment has prompted sharp reactions across social media, with critics questioning her qualifications and theological stance.
On Thursday, Trump announced the new task force during his speech at the National Prayer Breakfast, where he also revealed plans for a presidential commission on religious liberty. As part of his agenda to protect religious freedom, he pledged to combat “anti-Christian” discrimination within the federal government and ensure the protection of Christian rights nationwide.
However, the focus of the backlash has remained squarely on White’s leadership role. Critics argue that White’s controversial teachings, such as her endorsement of the prosperity gospel and her adoption of Hebrew rituals in her ministry, are at odds with mainstream Christian beliefs. One social media user argued, “Paula White is a heretic who pedals the prosperity gospel,” while others contended that her position as a female pastor contradicts Biblical teachings about church leadership.
This is the worst decision President Trump has made since taking office…
Paula White is a heretic, who pedals the prosperity gospel. Plus, women should not be pastors according to The Bible.
White has long been a central figure in Trump’s evangelical circle. In 2016, she chaired Trump’s evangelical advisory board and delivered the invocation at his inauguration in 2017. Despite the criticism, White has defended her beliefs, denying accusations of heresy. In a 2018 CNN interview, she stated that claims about her life and ministry were “misleading” and “inaccurate,” asserting that the allegations against her were false.
We really should pray for@realDonaldTrumpthat God would surround him with someone other than Paula White and her crowd. While everyone cheers this morning about the executive order which is a good thing, I still can’t help to point out that Paula White literally teaches…
While Trump has repeatedly emphasized his commitment to faith-based initiatives, many evangelical critics are raising concerns about White’s suitability for such a high-profile role. Her role in leading the White House faith office is seen by some as an extension of Trump’s effort to solidify his support among evangelical voters, a crucial demographic for his political base.
The announcement has fueled a broader debate within American Christianity about the direction of faith-based political initiatives. Critics argue that Trump’s endorsement of White—who has been criticized for her unorthodox teachings—may deepen divisions within the Christian community and raise questions about the administration’s priorities.
Speaker Mike Johnson and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reaffirmed the unwavering U.S.-Israeli partnership, highlighting their shared commitment to security and peace amid regional challenges.

Leftist Judge Kollar-Kotelly and pro-Life activist Paula Harlow. Kollar-Kotelly mocked Harlow as she sent her to prison to suffer and die. President Trump pardoned Harlow after his second Inauguration.
Some people are so vile and debased that they should never hold public office.
On Thursday Federal Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly decided she was the true elected leader of the United States and she blocked the the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from obtaining access to ‘sensitive‘ Treasury Department payment records for a period of time.
Kollar-Kotelly is very upset that President Trump, Elon Musk, and the DOGE investigators were finding billions of dollars in fraudulent payments in their investigation of the federal government.
Kollar-Kotelly decided she must take action and she put a stop to this fraud-finding operation.
Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly wrote in her order that Treasury officials “will not provide access to any payment record or payment system of records maintained within the [Treasury] Bureau of Fiscal Service.”
This ruling comes after multiple government employee unions sued the Treasury Department over who could access the material.
Democrats are outraged that President Trump and Elon Musk are saving billions for the American people.
On Friday we were reminded that this is not the first time Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly made headlines.
Back in June 2024 Life News reported on Kollar-Kotelly’s disgraceful actions.
In May, 2024, in a federal Washington, D.C. court, Kollar-Kotelly sentenced Harlow to two years in jail and 36 months of supervised release for protesting at a notorious late-term abortion clinic in Washington, D.C. with eight others.
She was the tenth defendant to be sentenced by the Biden Regime related to the peaceful abortion protest.
Paulette Harlow, who is 75 years old, participated in a peaceful protest at an abortion clinic in 2020 and didn’t hurt anyone.
Here is video of Paulette Harlow praying and peacefully protesting in an abortion clinic:
According to Catholic News Agency, Harlow has significant health issues. Her husband fears she may die in prison.
“Paula Paulette Harlow, 75, of Kingston, Massachusetts, was sentenced in U.S. District Court today to 24 months incarceration for her role in a conspiracy that created a blockade at a Washington, D.C. reproductive health care clinic to prevent the clinic from providing, and patients from receiving, reproductive health services.” the DOJ said in a press release earlier this month.
Judge Kotelly mocked Paula Harlow’s Christian faith when she sentenced her to prison as her husband begged for mercy expressing his fear his wife would die alone in prison.
The judge taunted the elderly woman and mocked her Christian faith and told her to honor the “tenets” of her religion and not die in jail.
