There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard

Seventy-two retired U.S. generals and admirals signed a Jewish Institute for National Security of America letter supporting the U.S. and Israeli strikes against the Iranian regime over the weekend.
“They wanted to both express what they see as the need for these operations, the need to address the Iranian threat, their confidence in that partnership and communicate that to the American people through this letter,” Blaise Misztal, vice president for policy at JINSA, told JNS.
In the letter, the retired military leaders state that the Iranian regime, whose slogan is “death to America, death to Israel,” has “committed to endangering the lives of U.S. troops, diplomats and civilians across the Middle East and here at home.”
“Hundreds of Americans have lost their lives at the hands of the Islamic Republic and its terrorist proxies,” according to the letter. “Leaders in Tehran openly state their ambitions to spill American blood, evict the United States from the Middle East, eliminate Israel and dominate a region that remains vital to global stability.”
The “largest state sponsor of terrorism,” Iran has also worked with American enemies, like Russia and China. Despite being offered “every offramp possible,” the Islamic Republic has continued to seek nuclear weapons.
“The regime’s brutal crackdown on protestors showed the entire world just what it is willing to do to keep its people, and the region, under its thumb,” the retired military leaders write.
Misztal told JNS that JINSA, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, has run an annual program for more than four decades that brings retired U.S. generals and admirals to Israel. JINSA has developed “long-lasting relationships” with participants who are aware of the uniqueness of the U.S.-Israeli alliance, according to Misztal.
Many of those retired officers have served in the Middle East in the past 20 years and seen Iran kill Americans, including 600 U.S. service members in the Iraq War and continuing attacks on U.S. military bases throughout the region, according to Misztal.
The retired military leaders write in the letter that it’s up to the Iranian people to bring the regime down in the end, which, to Misztal, reflects how this conflict differs from the “war on terror” in which the officers fought.
“It’s not a regime-change war, where the United States is the one that was going to topple this regime,” he said. “It’s not a nation-building war, where the United States is going to be committed for decades to keeping troops in Iran and propping up whatever comes next.”
“It’s a recognition that we’re there to eliminate a threat and that we’re hopeful that the Iranian people, who have shown both their bravery in standing up to this regime but also their love of freedom and desire for something better to replace it, will seize the opportunity,” he added. “ Understanding that that’s not necessarily going to be our role to give them that opportunity going forward.”

There are a lot of people out there that seem to think that the nuts that are currently running Iran are good people that always tell the truth and that we can always trust them to do the right thing. But of course there is no government on the entire planet that always tells the truth and that always does the right thing. The Shiite radicals that have been imposing tyranny on the Iranian people for decades truly believe that their version of Islam will rule the entire world, and they will literally do anything in pursuit of that goal. We have already seen that they are willing to gun down tens of thousands of their own people. So it shouldn’t exactly be a shock that they haven’t been telling us the truth about their pursuit of nuclear weapons.
Earlier today, the IDF announced that it has destroyed a secret compound in Iran known as “Minzadehei” that was being used “by a group of nuclear scientists who operated to develop a key component for nuclear weapons”…
This is a major bombshell, and we deserve some answers.
Exactly what was being produced at this facility?
And how long has it been operational?
In recent days there has been so much debate in the western world about whether Iran really was close to developing nuclear weapons or not.
What was going on at this compound could be the key to settling that debate.
Within the past 24 hours, the war with Iran has gone to an entirely new level.
Israeli forces “flattened” a building where Iran’s 88-member Assembly of Experts had gathered to select the regime’s next supreme leader, according to Israeli officials and regional reports.
“We wanted to prevent them from picking a new supreme leader,” an Israeli defense official told Axios shortly after pinpoint strikes leveled the building. Video posted on X showed rubble where the building once stood.
The attack came as the powerful regime body was counting votes, hoping to select a supreme leader to replace Ali Khamenei after his death during the opening salvo of the U.S.-Israeli operation against the Iranian regime. The assembly claimed just hours earlier that it “won’t take long” to select a successor, though that process is likely at a standstill in the wake of Israel’s operation. While it remains unclear how many Iranian leaders were in the building and how many regime officials the strike killed, Fox News reported that “multiple Iranian officials responsible for counting the votes of the Supreme Council were killed,” while Israeli journalist Amit Segal said “the council secretary was killed and the ballot box was burned” in the strike.
This was essentially the equivalent of bombing the Vatican while cardinals are electing the next pope.
It is an extremely solemn ceremony for the Shiites in Iran, and so this surprise attack is something that they will never forget.
Personally, I have no idea why Iranian leaders thought that it would be safe to gather in one place.
Did they actually believe that they could hold this vote without the U.S. and Israel finding out about it?
Overnight, the Israeli Air Force struck Iran’s “leadership complex” in Tehran, the military said Tuesday, saying that around 100 fighter jets dropped over 250 bombs on the complex as the joint US-Israeli bombing campaign and Iran’s retaliatory missile and drone launches continued into their fourth day, wounding 12 people in Israel.
The buildings targeted in the complex included Iran’s presidential bureau, the headquarters of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, a compound used by Iran’s “most senior forum” for meetings, and an “institution for training Iranian army officers,” according to the IDF.
“The leadership complex of the terror regime is one of the most secured assets in Iran and spans many streets in the heart of Tehran,” the military said, describing it as the “most important and central headquarters for the Iranian terror regime.”
Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have instructed their military to “advance and seize additional strategic high ground” in Lebanon, after forces unleashed a wave of attacks on the country this week.
The Defense Minister said that he and Netanyahu called on the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to “prevent fire and protect the Israeli border communities” in a video address on Tuesday.
“The IDF operated overnight and continued taking control of the area,” the minister said, adding, “the IDF continues to act forcefully against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon.”
Needless to say, U.S. forces have been very active too.
The US military has hit an additional roughly 700 targets in Iran since Sunday and has introduced new bombers and fighter aircraft to the operation, a fact sheet released on Tuesday said.
US Central Command said Tuesday that more than 1,700 targets have been struck throughout the operation dubbed Operation Epic Fury. As of Sunday, more than 1,000 targets had been struck. A listing of US assets involved also added B-1 Bombers, long-range B-52 bombers, and F-15 fighter jets.
The U.S. and Israel are absolutely pummeling Iran.
But the Iranians are far from done.
They have been hitting targets all over the Middle East, and many Israelis were quite shocked when Iranian munitions started raining down right in the heart of Tel Aviv.
We have known for a long time that a “final showdown” with Iran was coming.
Hours ago, President Trump declared that it is “too late” for talks with Iran.
The U.S. and Israel are going for it. Regime change is the goal, and the Iranians are going to pull out all the stops in a desperate attempt to survive.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio schools CNN’s Manu Raju after the liberal hack mischaracterizes his Iran statement. Credit; CNN screenshot
CNN hack Manu Raju, whose life goal appears to be trying to embarrass every Republican with slanted questions, got called to the carpet by Secretary of State Marco Rubio after a misleading question during a press conference.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Rubio delivered a blistering rebuke to critics on Capitol Hill Monday, dismantling claims that the Trump administration failed to properly notify Congress before launching decisive military strikes against Iranian targets.
Speaking to reporters, Rubio revealed that the administration followed established protocol by notifying the Gang of Eight, the group of congressional leaders and intelligence chairs, well in advance of the operations.
Rubio added that U.S. officials knew Israeli action was imminent and that retaliation against American forces would follow. The only strategic option, Rubio argued, was to act first and avoid higher casualties.
Per National Review, Rubio was then asked whether he stated that the U.S. was forced to attack Iran because of Israel. He said no and added:
That’s the question of why now, but this operation needed to happen because Iran, in about a year or a year and a half, would cross the line of immunity, meaning they would have so many short-range missiles, so many drones, that no one could do anything about it, because they could hold the whole world hostage. Look at the damage they’re doing now.
And this is a weakened Iran. Imagine a year from now. So that had to happen. Obviously, we were aware of Israeli intentions and understood what that would mean for us, and we had to be prepared to act as a result of it. But this had to happen, no matter what.
On Tuesday, Raju attempted to pay gotcha with Rubio by twisting his statement. The CNN hack tried to get Rubio to admit that he claimed the US was forced to attack Iran because of Israel.
Rubio refused to play along, though, challenging Raju to read the full statement. This caused Raju to frantically scramble to get back on track.
WATCH:
RAJU: I want to just clarify what you said. I want to clarify what you said, because you said…
RUBIO: There’s nothing to clarify.
RAJU: You said…
RUBIO: Read the whole statement.
RAJU: Your quote is about, we knew that there was going to be an Israeli action. We knew that would precipitate an attack on American forces.
RUBIO: No, I understand…I had a very specific question from this gentleman.
RAJU: But the President said…
RUBIO: Let me answer because this is my press conference.
RAJU: Sure.
RUBIO: I was asked a very specific question, so you guys can be misrepresent it, but I was asked a very specific question yesterday. The bottom line is this: The President determined we were not going to get hit first. It’s that simple, guys. We are not going to put American troops in harm’s way.
If you tell the President of the United States that if we don’t go first, we’re going to have more people killed and more people injured, the President is going to go first. That’s what he did. That’s what the President will always do. He will always put the safety and security of our men and women in uniform and of all Americans before anything else.
He’s always going to do that, and that’s what he did here. In addition to that, I would argue that this threat from Iran — they are hiding behind these missiles and hiding behind these drones. They wanted to reach a point where you couldn’t touch them, and then they could do whatever the hell they wanted with their nuclear program.
And there was no way in the world that this terroristic regime was going to get nuclear weapons, not under Donald Trump’s watch. That’s for sure.
The radical left is at it again with their “rules for thee, but not for me” playbook.
On Tuesday, Fox News reporter Bill Melugin absolutely cornered House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, exposing the staggering double standard Democrats hold when it comes to executive military action.
While the Democrats are currently screaming “unconstitutional” over President Trump’s decisive actions against the Iranian regime, they seem to have developed a convenient case of amnesia regarding 2011.
During the 2011 military intervention in Libya, Nancy Pelosi, then the House Minority Leader, publicly defended Barack Obama’s authority to conduct airstrikes without a formal vote from Congress.
In June 2011, Pelosi stated she was “satisfied that the president has the authority he needs” to continue military operations in Libya. She argued that because the engagement was of a “limited nature” and did not involve “boots on the ground,” it did not violate the Constitution or the War Powers Resolution.
The U.S.-led initial phase quickly transitioned to a NATO-led mission that lasted approximately 7 months from March to October 2011.

During a press gaggle, Melugin pressed Jeffries on comments made by Nancy Pelosi in 2011 defending Barack Obama’s decision to launch military strikes against Libya without first seeking congressional approval.
Jeffries, clearly caught off guard, stumbled through a word-salad response, trying to claim the situations were “very different” before eventually retreating to the classic “I wasn’t there” excuse.
Bill Melugin: Back in 2011, Nancy Pelosi said that then-President Obama didn’t need congressional approval to bomb Libya. Now House Democrats say President Trump needs that approval to bomb Iran. What’s the difference?
Hakeem Jeffries: Well, obviously Libya and the circumstances connected to that were very different than the circumstances that we face in Iran right now. I don’t even understand the genesis or basis of that question. I’m not suggesting that you’re not asking it in good faith.
Bill Melugin: Libya went on for seven months.
Hakeem Jeffries: As I’ve indicated, first of all, I was not in Congress at the time. We’re dealing with what we’re dealing with right now, which is a catastrophic, endless war, as Donald Trump has characterized it, without any justification that there was going to be a preeminent assault or attack on the United States of America—either in our homeland or as it relates to our interests in the Middle East.
The administration is not even pretending that they have intelligence or information at this point publicly. Certainly, there’s been nothing that has been presented to us privately to justify a preemptive strike of this nature that has triggered an all-out war in the Middle East.
By the way, Donald Trump is the one who said, in the aftermath of the 12-day war, that Iran’s nuclear program had been completely and totally obliterated. Not my words—his words. Was he lying to the American people then, or is he lying now?…
“Everyone, not just media and intel agencies, has an agenda. And many of those people will use the current thing to advance their agenda however possible. There are a lot of NeverTrumpers eager to see a foreign conflict fail and derail his presidency, the midterms, and the 2028 election. There are a lot of war hawks determined to feed the military industrial complex at any cost. And there are a lot of people who will say anything for clicks and for the payout that often comes with them.”
(Elle Purnell – The Federalist) When President Donald Trump sent U.S. special forces into Venezuela to capture dictator Nicolás Maduro, it was immediately hailed by some as a brilliant act of international 4-D chess regarding oil/China/immigration and condemned just as quickly by others as a needless excursion into regime-change territory….
In those first few hours, cooler heads acknowledged the awesomeness of the raid’s tactical execution, the United States’ supreme prerogative to do whatever it wants to protect its interests, and also the fact that it would take some time for the geopolitical ramifications of the move to play out. With all the hindsight of two months, it appears to have been a total success, although there are still lingering questions — like, how long are we going to “run” Venezuela and what exactly does that look like?
