There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill on Wednesday giving $90 million in tax dollars to Planned Parenthood, marking just the latest infusion of cash from the Golden State to the abortion behemoth.
A release from Newsom’s office said the $90 million came in the form of “one-time emergency funds for Planned Parenthood and other clinics providing reproductive health care services.”
The purported emergency was President Donald Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” — called the “Big Ugly Bill” in the release — which defunded Planned Parenthood for one year.
“California is taking steps to ensure people don’t lose access to the range of services provided by Planned Parenthood,” Newsom said in a statement.
Gov. @GavinNewsom (D-CA) signed into law on Wednesday a $90 million infusion of funds for Planned Parenthood clinics to make up for federal funding cuts from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
“As the Trump administration’s Big Ugly Bill punishes women and community health providers, California continues to stand in support of women’s access to essential health services and reproductive freedom.”
But California has already vowed $145 million for Planned Parenthood since last fall alone.
There are over 100 Planned Parenthood facilities across California — and Newsom’s release said California would assist them as women obtain purported “basic health care needs.”
Newsom, a likely hopeful in the 2028 Democratic presidential primary race, has signed several abortion-related bills in recent years.
In September of last year, he signed a bill allowing abortion pill providers to ship the substances anonymously — a bid to help the providers avoid lawsuits from conservative state governments.

Many other legislative actions have revolved around abortion pills, which now compose nearly two-thirds of abortions in the United States.
Newsom created an “emergency stockpile” of misoprostol, one of the two drugs commonly used in abortion pill regiments, in April 2023.
Newsom also supported Proposition 1 in 2022, which amended the state constitution to enshrine the so-called “right” to murder preborn babies and use contraception.
The newest infusion of funding for Planned Parenthood comes as abortion numbers in the United States climb even after the overturn of Roe v. Wade.
Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers have been shuttering clinics — in both red states and blue states — as more women turn to abortion pills, which are generally cheaper and more convenient than surgical abortions.
Doctors who trans minors found guilty of malpractice. The end of mass market paperbacks. And designer babies via IVF.
Doctors Who Trans Minors Found Guilty of Malpractice
Last summer, I said this in a blog post about physicians who do sex-change treatments on minors: “Some malpractice suits against doctors who sterilized and mutilated children would go a long way to ending these practices once and for all.” That has started to happen.
A jury in New York state has awarded a 22-year-old girl $2 million in a malpractice judgment against her psychologist who recommended “gender transition” and a plastic surgeon who gave her a double mastectomy when she was 16.
Her mother resisted giving consent, but the two doctors manipulated her by saying that if she didn’t, her daughter would likely commit suicide (“Would you rather have a dead daughter or a live son?”), an emotional blackmail that has been thoroughly discredited.
Later, when the gender dysphoria faded, as it does 80% of the time, the girl no longer wanted to be a boy, but the doctors had permanently mutilated her. The court agreed that the doctors rushed the girl into this treatment, without considering the other psychological factors in her distress.
This is the first malpractice finding against doctors for their “gender re-assignment” treatments for minors. It will not be the last. Some 27 similar lawsuits have already been filed. The monetary win for “de-transitioners” will encourage many more. Some 1,000 children have been “transitioned” every year
Another promising sign is that United States medical associations, which used to be all-in for gender reassignment for children and were cited as authorities to justify the practice, are changing their tune. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) has just come out with a statement urging its members not to perform gender-reassignment surgery on minors.
And the biggest offender, the American Medical Association (AMA), has toned down its previously positive advice. “The evidence for gender-affirming surgical intervention in minors is insufficient for us to make a definitive statement,” says the new the AMA statement, while also saying that it “agrees” with the ASPS “that surgical interventions in minors should be generally deferred to adulthood.” Actually, there is lots of evidence–including massive European studies that the plastic surgeons drew on–that these “interventions” are bad medicine.
Once malpractice insurance premiums shoot up–or are denied altogether–for doctors who sterilize and mutilate children, the treatments will come to a quick stop. They will fade into medical history like bloodletting, lobotomies, eugenic hysterectomies, opium tonics for children, medical experimentation on black people, and other “how-could-they-have-thought-that-was- right” practices.
The End of Mass Market Paperbacks
The publishing industry is phasing out mass market paperbacks, those small, cheaply printed editions with the attention-grabbing covers sold at newsstands, drug stores, and other retailers that weren’t bookstores.
“Trade paperbacks,” the size of hard-bound books but with a paper cover, will still be available. But not the inexpensive 4.25” × 6.87” titles, some of which sold in the millions.
From the late 1960s through the mid 1990s, the mass market paperback was the leading format in the publishing industry. According to Publishers Weekly, in 1979, mass market paperbacks sold 387 million copies, with hardcovers selling 82 million and trade paperbacks selling 59 million. But by 2004, that number dropped to 131 million, and by 2024, it was only 21 million.
Now Readerlink, the nation’s largest book distributor, has announced that it will no longer carry mass market paperbacks, dooming the format. E-books and audio books have mostly taken their place. According to 2024 data from the Association of American Publishers, the market share of books sold was 37.2% for hardcovers, 33.8% for trade paperbacks, 1.3% for mass market paperbacks, 10.3% for e-books, and 11.3% for digital audio books.
The demise of the mass market paperback saddens me. Yes, lots of these were “trashy paperbacks,” as they were affectionally called. They were mostly “genre” books: science fiction, crime novels, romances, thrillers, westerns. Many of these were formulaic and predictable, simply ringing the changes on the genre’s conventions. But some of them were really good: Robert Heinlein, Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, were only a few of the great Sci-Fi authors who made their careers with mass-market paperbacks. Some writers who ascended into the literary pantheon of hard-cover and trade books–Elmore Leonard, Dashiell Hammett, Raymond Chandler–got their start with novels with lurid covers sold in drug stores.
I read Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings in its mass paperback edition. Actually, most of the books I read were in this format, since the small town I grew up in had no bookstores, but lots of paperback racks with titles I could afford with my Dairy Queen salary. By the time I grew up, publishers like Bantam and Penguin were selling mass market editions of classic literature, which became staples of my student and teaching years.
I wonder now what impact the end of paperbacks will have, not only on Sci-Fi and other genre fiction, but on the habit of reading. The Publishers Weekly article quotes former Bantam executive Esther Margolis: “I believe that mass market paperbacks democratized America. . . .Books and reading became popular in a way never before seen. I think how lucky I was to be part of its explosive growth.”
Designer Babies via IVF
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) has crossed the line into eugenics. Already, IVF companies use genetic screening to test embryos for the likelihood of various diseases. Now a company has expanded that screening to allow customers to select an embryo on the basis of his or her future appearance, IQ, proclivity for sports, and other qualities of a “designer baby.” The embryos that don’t measure up to those consumer standards are “discarded” as medical waste.
Couples who sign up with Nucleus IVF+ are presented with an electronic “menu” of up to 20 embryos they have conceived, allowing them to view the sex of each baby, their anticipated hair and eye color, and predictions about the height and IQ of each as well as their risk for various diseases. The company notes that all these characteristics are only framed in terms of probabilities — they cannot make any guarantees. . . .
To shed light on the “why” behind the tool, company founder Kian Sadeghi described parents’ desires for their children: “They want us to, you know, play sports and they want us to go to the best school. They want us to be well educated. They want us to thrive. Life, I think, as a parent doesn’t just stop at ‘I want my child to be healthy,’” Sadeghi told CBS News in December. . . .
Once you pick your “best baby” (Nucleus’ own marketing phrase), the rest of your embryonic-stage babies are discarded like trash, as is standard in IVF practice. This itself is objectively evil and dystopian. “Pick your baby” then is an Orwellian euphemism for selecting the genetically “fit” and killing the rest of your offspring.
An article on the subject in Futurism points out the lack of evidence that genetic tests can predict traits such as height, much less complicated characteristics such as intelligence. So parents swept up by the hype of Nucleus IVF+ are basically picking their “best baby” and killing the rest of their offspring for nothing.
Some are trying to find truth by reacting off liars on the Left. So, for example, when the woke Left says headship is a wrong that must be righted, the response from some is, not to go to God’s Word, but to fall off the other side of the horse committing an equal and opposite sin – they become domineering husbands who pretend their wives are children. And this interracial question seems to be a weird response to the Left’s elevation of blacks as victims who must always be deferred to. In reaction, some are turning into whites-only racists, and worse yet, doing so while calling themselves Christians.
The lesson, then, is to go to God, rather than react. And anyone who went to God’s Word would find that there is no such thing as different races. We are all children of the same parents, Adam and Eve. So “interracial” marriage isn’t wrong because it isn’t even possible.
Trump made that claim some months back and while some seem to think the surest source of truth is simply to run with the very opposite of what the US president has tweeted, no one is that reliably wrong. But a new study does conclude he was indeed wrong this time.
A young man who was previously saved from his approved euthanasia plans 4 years ago wasn’t as fortunate this time. An abortionist who will kill adults too put him to death in December… legally it seems, even before Parliament has approved killing the mentally ill.
If murder is medicine, then what argument can be had for withholding this medicine? The only counter to such thinking is telling the Christian truth that our lives are not our own. No other hedge or restriction or speed bump will work. We need the full Gospel truth delivered to people who are dying for want of it.
WARNING: This is animated, so some of the brutality is muted. But the sheer horror of what it recounts might be too much for some, so viewers beware… and don’t watch this with your younger kids around.
But is it really all that problematic if we use vaccines so developed? Many of the remains used were from children murdered decades ago, as this video below highlights. So should we still be concerned? There are medical procedures in use today that were developed via torturous Nazi experimentation but does the unethical means by which they were discovered mean we can’t use them? One example is treatments for hypothermia, derived by Nazis deliberately freezing their victims before testing out various ways of treating them. Can we today not use the best means of treating hypothermia just because a Nazi discovered it via immoral means?
Many and maybe most would say, yes we can still make use of the Nazi research, even with how wickedly it was produced. But the difference between using vaccines derived from butchered unborn children and using research derived from Nazi torture is that no one today is trying to justify further Nazi torture. No one is saying, “The Nazi research methods worked, so we should do more of it.” But medical experimentation on embryos is ongoing, and used as a means of appeasing parents who would otherwise have to go to the expense of freezing their “extra” embryos or the guilt of “disposing” of them. Instead they can “donate” them to scientific research. The Nazi Holocaust is over and recognized for the evil it was. The unborn holocaust continues, and medical research on the unborn is just one more justification for it.
So how do we address the moral dilemma parents face when it comes time to vaccinate our children? I don’t have a great answer. I can share the unsatisfactory approach we used – we sought out vaccines that weren’t derived from fetal remains. And when that wasn’t possible – there isn’t much demand, so there isn’t much supply – we did use the tainted vaccines, but then also sought to advance the production of fetal-free vaccines by making a donation to a group doing that work.
We’re told random mutations drive evolution– mutations are supposed to be “the engine behind every new trait and species on Earth.” Turns out, though, that what the science shows again and again is mutations don’t build life, they break it down! Interestingly, breaking things down can sometimes help an organism, in much the way that stripping the seats out of your car can make it more fuel-efficient. But this kind of breaking things down doesn’t show how new molecular machines could be built.
This is from Discovery Science, an Intelligent Design think tank. They aren’t creationist, or even specifically Christian. So all they are showing here are the scientific shortcomings of Evolution, and if you want more of that, be sure to check out their Science Uprising series.
John Carpay offers a basically secular take in the linked article about Indigenous land claims, so I’ll offer up a biblical passage that has some application (and there are certainly others). Matthew 7:1-2 says it is justice to have the measure by which we judge others applied to ourselves. In the land acknowledgments stated before university classes and municipal meetings, there’s sometimes a reference to tribes who have been here “from time immemorial” or some such phrase. The point of that claim is that the European settlers took it relatively recently from Indigenous tribes who had been there previously forever.
But Indigenous tribes moved, and caused other tribes to move on. So the Indigenous group that might have had land taken from them by the settlers, did the same to whoever lived there before them – the dominoes go back way more than just the one block. So, if the last must be returned, then why just to the most recent tribe who themselves were takers too? And if that standard is thought unreasonable because of how hard it would be to work out, then let’s apply this new “workability standard” to the situation today too.
In 2022 the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision, which had legalized abortion the US for the past previous 50 years, was overturned. But the overturned decision didn’t actually protect the unborn – it just made it legal for the individual states to start doing so. Some started. But the Trump administration has allowed Joe Biden-era “abortion by mail” prescriptions to continue, and this kind of abortion has exploded since 2022. The end result? Abortions have risen from an average of 80,000/month in 2022, to 98,000/month in 2025.
This highlights how it isn’t just a legal ruling we need to save the unborn, and not even a somewhat sympathetic government, as the American pro-life movement has in the Trump administration. What’s been largely missing from the abortion debate is an explicitly Christian witness that explains why we need to protect unborn children everywhere, not simply in some states. We need to challenge our culture, teaching them that while they have no explanation for anyone’s worthGod has given us value by making us in His Image (Gen. 9:6). Like in every aspect of life, what we need here is the Gospel. And without it, even an inconceivable legal win will do very little all on its own.
Governments across the Western world have implemented laws requiring a certain minimum hourly wage that employers must pay. The notion behind these laws is to prevent business owners from exploiting their workers. But what these laws presume is that the government knows what’s best for everyone. What this video shows is, when the government pretends to know far more than they ever could, they cause all sorts of harms. And it just doesn’t matter if that’s not at all what they intended.
Liberal Europeans are protesting for the right to euthanasia, even for minors and babies in some countries. Composite illustration from Xinhua and screen grab.
Since World War II, Europeans have consistently turned away from the Church, and public policy has become more secular and more liberal, with same-sex marriage, gender identity policies, and abortion becoming widespread.
Euthanasia and assisted suicide have become legal in several European countries. The Netherlands became the first country to legalize euthanasia in 2002, followed by Belgium the same year, Luxembourg in 2009, and Spain in 2021. Portugal passed a euthanasia law in May 2023, though it remains unimplemented pending government regulation.
In November 2024, the United Kingdom voted to advance assisted dying legislation for England and Wales that would allow terminally ill adults expected to die within six months to request assistance to end their lives. France’s parliament is debating assisted dying legislation as of 2025. Switzerland has permitted assisted suicide since 1942, though active euthanasia remains illegal. Germany, Austria, and Italy allow assisted suicide under certain conditions based on constitutional court rulings, though comprehensive legislation is still being developed in these countries.
Belgium is the most permissive country, having removed all age restrictions on euthanasia in 2014. Children of any age can request euthanasia if they are terminally ill, demonstrate understanding of their choice, and have parental consent.
The Netherlands allows euthanasia for minors aged 12-15 with parental consent, and ages 16-17 with parental consultation. Netherlands also permits euthanasia for infants under one year through the Groningen Protocol, and in 2024 extended this to children aged 1-12 who cannot consent themselves but are suffering from incurable terminal illnesses.
Twelve European countries allow legal gender recognition based on self-determination, permitting individuals to change their official gender marker on identity documents without medical requirements. In some countries, this extends to children and adolescents under 18. Policies vary, with requirements ranging from parental consent or court approval to minimum age thresholds, while some allow self-declaration and others require medical diagnosis.
All EU member states except Hungary, Latvia, and Romania provide access to hormone therapy (testosterone and estrogen) for gender transition purposes. Public health funding for gender transition varies across countries.
The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, and Denmark provide full coverage through national health insurance for gender transition hormone therapy and surgeries, though Denmark has some limitations on estrogen coverage.
Most other EU countries provide some level of public health coverage for gender transition procedures. Estonia, Lithuania, Croatia, Poland, Czech Republic, and Romania provide limited or no coverage for various gender transition procedures.
Croatia does not cover gender-affirming surgeries through national insurance at all. The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, and Malta have the most comprehensive coverage for gender transition healthcare.
Eighteen EU member states permit puberty blockers for minors. Fourteen member states provide over 70 percent public health funding for puberty blockers. Almost all member states that allow puberty blockers also permit hormone therapy for minors, except Estonia and Slovenia. Two-thirds of EU countries still allow transgender youth at least some access to puberty blockers as of 2025.
Several European countries have recently restricted access to puberty blockers for minors. The United Kingdom banned puberty blockers for under-18s in December 2024, though patients already receiving them can continue and clinical trials are exempted. Sweden allows treatments for minors only within a research context and for exceptional cases since 2022.
Finland recommended in 2020 that minors first receive psychological support, with medical treatment only after being made aware of risks. France’s National Academy of Medicine recommended in 2022 the greatest reserve regarding puberty blockers for minors.
Norway’s Healthcare Investigation Board recommended in 2023 that puberty blockers be defined as experimental treatment. Germany’s 2025 guidelines discourage puberty blockers and reject surgeries for nonbinary adolescents, though the position on hormones is less clear.
Most European countries allow abortion on request, typically between 10 and 14 weeks. Fifteen countries have expanded abortion access since 2021. Sweden ranks highest for abortion access, scoring 94.6 percent on the European Abortion Policies Atlas, followed by France at 85.2 percent and the Netherlands at 80.3 percent. Public support for legal abortion reaches 95 percent in Sweden and at least 75 percent in nearly every European country, with Poland as an exception at 56 percent support.
France enshrined abortion as a right in its Constitution in 2024. Ireland, which until the 1970s was one of the most Catholic countries in the world, voted to repeal its abortion ban in a 2018 referendum.
At the opposite end of the spectrum, Andorra maintains a total ban with only one exception for life-saving necessity under general criminal law. Criminal penalties can reach up to 10 years imprisonment. Malta has nearly completely banned abortion with a 3.7 percent score, permitting the procedure only when a woman’s life is in grave jeopardy from medical complication or immediate risk of death.
Malta imposes criminal penalties of 18 months to three years for women and 18 months to four years for providers who perform abortions, including lifetime medical license bans.
Poland maintains highly restrictive laws with an 18.6 percent score. Abortion is legal only for rape, incest, or threat to the mother’s life or health. A 2020 Constitutional Tribunal ruling eliminated the fetal abnormality exception, creating a de facto ban. The ruling sparked the largest protests in Poland since the fall of communism.
Liechtenstein permits abortion only when there is a life or health risk or in cases of rape. Monaco allows abortion for life or health risk, rape, or severe fetal impairment. Monaco recently liberalized from a total ban, with around 5 to 10 cases per year expected.
The Faroe Islands currently restrict abortion to cases involving life risk, health risk, fetal defect, or rape. However, legislation passed in December 2025 will allow abortion on request up to 12 weeks beginning July 1, 2026.
Slovakia faces new constitutional amendments from September 2025 that will restrict abortion. Croatia has ongoing attempts to impose barriers on abortion access.
Hungary presents a complex situation. Abortion remains technically legal until 12 weeks of pregnancy for socioeconomic reasons, but the Orbán government has erected barriers. Hungary’s 2012 constitution states that fetal life must be protected from conception. A 2022 law requires women to listen to fetal vital signs or heartbeat before abortion.
The law mandates counseling sessions at least twice with the Family Protection Service and a 72-hour waiting period. Hungary banned medical abortion in 2012, allowing only surgical abortions. Mandatory documentation and referrals create administrative obstacles. High rates of conscientious objection among doctors and public hospitals increasingly refusing to provide abortions create long waiting lists, often over a month.
Italy passed a new law allowing anti-abortion groups into counseling centers, creating additional barriers to access.
Across Europe and across the world, while there are exceptions, Slovakia and Croatia are the only notable cases moving in a more restrictive direction. France constitutionalized abortion in 2024, Ireland shifted from deeply Catholic to repealing its abortion ban, and the Faroe Islands will liberalize abortion in 2026. Overall, the trend moves in one direction: greater liberalization and normalization of abortion and transgender ideology.
The pro-life movement is witnessing one of its greatest national victories in decades. Following the passage of President Trump’s budget reconciliation “Big, Beautiful Bill,” which includes a measure defunding abortion providers of Medicaid dollars, dozens of Planned Parenthood clinics have closed or are preparing to close their doors.
According to SBA Pro-Life America, at least 41 Planned Parenthood facilities have already shut down or will soon, with projections that as many as 200 clinics could ultimately be forced to close. This comes as taxpayer support for abortion businesses is being phased out. SBA president Marjorie Dannenfelser called the measure “the biggest national pro-life victory since the Dobbs decision.”
The impact of this shift cannot be overstated. For years, Planned Parenthood received nearly half a billion dollars annually in Medicaid reimbursements, even though federal law prohibits direct funding of abortions. While the Hyde Amendment blocks federal dollars from paying for abortions themselves, pro-life advocates have long argued that funneling money to abortion providers indirectly sustains their operations. The new law aims to end that practice.
Planned Parenthood is fighting back in court. The abortion giant has filed suit against the Trump administration, and a federal judge appointed by former President Barack Obama has temporarily blocked the defunding measure while litigation continues. Planned Parenthood has claimed that 200 of its facilities could be at risk, but for pro-life Americans, this represents a long-overdue correction in federal policy.
The closures reveal another important truth: Planned Parenthood’s non-abortion services have dramatically declined in recent years. Cancer screenings, pap smears, and breast exams have fallen by more than 50 percent, while contraceptive services are down almost 40 percent. Meanwhile, community health centers outnumber Planned Parenthood clinics by a ratio of 15 to 1 nationwide, offering more comprehensive care to women and families without ending the lives of unborn children.
Planned Parenthood’s own annual report highlights the stark contrast: in 2023–2024, the organization performed a record 402,230 abortions while receiving $792 million in taxpayer funding — a near $100 million increase from the prior year. At the same time, abortion numbers climbed, and life-saving health services shrank.
Pro-life leaders are hopeful that this defunding marks a turning point. With more states, like South Carolina and Oklahoma, successfully blocking Medicaid dollars from flowing to abortion providers, momentum is building across the nation.

“No compact among men … can be pronounced everlasting and inviolable, and if I may so express myself, that no Wall of words, that no mound of parchment can be so formed as to stand against the sweeping torrent of boundless ambition on the one side, aided by the sapping current of corrupted morals on the other.” —George Washington (1789)
Cop arrested for being … illegal alien: In Old Orchard Beach, Maine, ICE officials recently arrested an illegal alien who was notable because he worked as a police officer for the city’s police force. Last month, Jon Luke Evans was sworn in as a police officer and handed a badge, despite the fact he came from Jamaica illegally. Boston’s ICE office was notified about Evans after the ATF flagged him when he filled out a background check to buy a firearm. Now he’s charged with breaking the very laws he was sworn in to enforce. How did this happen? Well, Old Orchard Beach Police Chief Elise Chard has no idea, claiming, “Our department and our community relied on the Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify program to ensure we were meeting our obligations.”
Immigration by the numbers: The Center for Immigration Studies released a data analysis of immigration over the previous four-plus decades. Based on CIS’s numbers, the U.S. foreign-born population increased by 8.3 million under President Joe Biden, with 5.4 million of those being illegal aliens. In just four years, California experienced a wave of 1.4 million migrants, while Texas put up with one million. CIS says the increase of foreign-born populations in parts of the country, particularly the South, “can only be described as extraordinary.” The foreign-born share of the population hit record highs in 14 states, while also hitting record highs numerically in 31 states and Washington, DC. Deportations have led to a decline in violent crime nationally: 70% of ICE arrests are of charged criminals, and homicides fell in 30 U.S. cities in the first half of 2025.
Monarez confirmed for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: In 2023, Senate Republicans introduced, Congress passed, and Joe Biden signed the CDC Accountability Act, which requires Senate approval for the position of CDC director. On Tuesday, the Senate finally confirmed a new CDC chief, Susan Monarez, by a 51-47 vote. Monarez had already been leading the agency as the acting director. Donald Trump initially nominated Dave Weldon for the role, a nomination the White House eventually withdrew after it became clear that Weldon lacked Senate support. Monarez has the unenviable task of attempting to rebuild public trust in an agency that was exposed during the COVID pandemic for peddling politics over science. Given how slim her confirmation vote was, it appears that she is facing strong headwinds.
The NYT correction that wasn’t: The New York Times recently published a misleading image of a Gazan boy with severe malnutrition, alleging it was related to the lack of aid reaching Gaza. The problem is that the boy in the image, Mohammed Zakaria al-Mutawaq, has preexisting health conditions that cause his malnutrition; his brother and mother are perfectly healthy. After being called on the carpet for false reporting, the NYT published an editor’s note that was appended to the article — five days later. The note does not admit fault; in fact, it reiterates the message NYT wants to send, as it tries to hide the mention of preexisting health conditions in a paragraph about the suffering in Gaza. This is standard practice for leftists and propagandists: publish a useful falsehood, then once it’s old news, admit the truth.
Buttigieg endangered safety to buoy wind turbines: On Tuesday, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy accused his predecessor, Pete Buttigieg, of ignoring safety concerns to further Joe Biden’s green energy agenda. “Joe Biden and Pete Buttigieg put climate religion ahead of safety — blatantly ignoring engineers who warned of the danger of constructing wind turbines near railroads and highways,” Duffy explained. Duffy’s allegation comes as he has initiated a review of any wind farms near transportation infrastructure. He added, “I’m immediately implementing a higher standard of safety. What the past administration did is a shame, but it’s a pattern for Biden and Buttigieg.” This is the second time Duffy has blasted Buttigieg for pushing a leftist agenda over and against focusing on his job. Last week, he noted how Buttigieg spent $80 billion on DEI “while safety was ignored.”
Rogue judge keeps defending Planned Parenthood: Activist judges with political pet projects are going to protect those projects regardless of the law until a higher court forcibly reins them in. That lack of leadership from higher courts is why District Judge Indira Talwani is now doubling down in her stand against U.S. law. Spending legislation defunding Planned Parenthood was passed by the House, passed by the Senate, and signed by the president, so it’s now the law of the land. But it angered Boston Judge Indira Talwani, so it can’t proceed. Talwani explained that without Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood, some babies might not be aborted, and some STDs might go untreated; therefore, she has the authority to override the law of the land.
Planned Parenthood facilities keep closing: Rogue judges notwithstanding, so far this year, 33 Planned Parenthood facilities have shuttered in both blue and red states. While this trend of abortion mills closing across the country has been ongoing since 2009, with Planned Parenthood’s total facilities declining from 840 in 2009 to 600 in 2023, it’s still an encouraging development. The fewer abortion facilities there are, the better. While an increasing number of abortions are being done via the abortion pill, the less presence that PP has in communities across the country, the less opportunity it has to spread its message of death.
Pedophiles are exploiting surrogacy: “This is not the first case of a sex offender procuring a child,” Helen Gibson of Surrogacy Concern explained regarding the story of a convicted pedophile raising a surrogate child with his gay partner in Pennsylvania. Brandon Keith Mitchell solicited a teenage boy for sexual abuse after presumably grooming the child as his chemistry teacher. He was convicted of child pornography possession and sentenced to a 23-month incarceration, of which he served just two months before being granted parole. A decade later, Mitchell, now with his gay “husband,” is raising a child they purchased via surrogacy, where medical and social evaluations well vetted the surrogate. It is unclear if the surrogate was aware that the child she was bearing was going to be raised by a pedophile. Surrogacy Concern explained, “Vetting of commissioning parents in surrogacy is virtually nonexistent.”

Blonde-haired, blue-eyed bombshell actress Sydney Sweeney is in trouble with the Left’s wokescolds for her latest ad campaign.
Sweeney is no shrinking violet when it comes to putting herself out there. She rose to fame via the trashy show “Euphoria,” and her beauty has landed her roles in other TV shows and ad campaigns.
Her advertisement for Dr. Squatch, wherein she’s taking a bubble bath while talking about how only men use Dr. Squatch soap, was particularly racy and suggestive. It was so popular that it led to the company selling soap made from her bathwater. Gross.
Her latest ad campaign, however, got her in trouble with the wokescolds. It’s for the clothing brand American Eagle, featuring what it’s best known for: jeans. American Eagle, whose target demographic is middle and high schoolers, had hitherto been toying with the same experimental leftist pandering that other clothing companies have tried — i.e., featuring overweight, transgender, and unattractive models. AE was not doing well, so it decided to try a “new” (read: old) tactic by hiring the beautiful and appealing Sweeney to sell its jeans.
Several ads featured Sweeney, ending with the phrase, “Sydney Sweeney has great jeans.” All of them are suggestive, and the advertisers leaned into Sweeney’s sensual appeal to the male gaze. The ads ranged from goofy to Americana to the extremely suggestive.
But the ad that landed her in the doghouse with leftists was this one, in which Sweeney is on her back zipping up a pair of jeans, saying, “Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality, and even eye color. My jeans are blue.” A male voice-over then ends with, “Sydney Sweeney has great jeans.”
Leftists were up in arms. Yet instead of reaching a reasonable conclusion, they decided that American Eagle had produced Nazi propaganda because Sweeney is white and has blonde hair and blue eyes, and the word “jeans” was used as a pun. In other words, they insisted, the ad was based on eugenics.
Seriously. This is why people are so tired of wokescolds. On the one hand, they want women to have as much sex as they can get, abort their babies (speaking of eugenics), start an OnlyFans, and own their bodies, but the second a beautiful white woman sexually objectifies herself in a commercial, it’s Nazi propaganda. Imagine if American Eagle decided instead to cast Sweeney’s “Euphoria” co-star, Zendaya, who also has great genes. Would these angry leftists be satiated? Probably not. Instead, they would complain about fatphobia or some other such nonsense. Other commenters on social media published posts of beautiful black women, arguing that good genes, meaning gorgeous women, are not exclusive to the white race. This just in.
Now, none of this is to say that Sweeney’s ad campaign isn’t a problem. Many reasonable critiques should be made, including the company using sensual content to sell jeans to teens. It’s tasteless and promotes objectionable behavior in children. Gen Z and Gen Alpha are already garnering a reputation for being the most amoral generations, and this sort of overt sensuality is not going to help with that particular problem. It’s also an age-old phenomenon: a beautiful woman objectifying herself for money.
At the same time, it’s ironic that the woke feminists aren’t 100% in support of the ads. Isn’t Sweeney’s messaging the feminist ideal of “freedom” and their justification for prostitution? Deciding that it’s a statement about white supremacy is simply obtuse.
MSNBC producer Hannah Holland penned a diatribe against the ad, crowing, “The advertisement, the choice of [Sydney] Sweeney as the sole face in it and the internet’s reaction reflect an unbridled cultural shift toward whiteness, conservatism and capitalist exploitation.”
Ironically, the Left’s outrage has had the opposite of the intended effect. Sweeney’s ad campaign has already generated an explosion for American Eagle stocks — to the tune of $400 million. People are elated at the idea that companies are promoting beautiful people as their models again.
Unfortunately, Sweeney’s ads are an overcorrection to the sterile and unattractive politically correct advertisements of recent years. Still, this might be the cultural shift normal Americans have been waiting for. Beauty sells.

ON THIS DAY in 1956, the United States adopted a new official motto: “In God We Trust.” The phrase itself dates to colonial times, with the earliest recorded use in The Pennsylvania Gazette in 1748.
Please join us in prayer for our nation — that righteous leaders would rise and prevail and we would be united as Americans. Pray for the protection of our uniformed Military Patriots, Veterans, First Responders, and their families. Lift up your Patriot Post team and our mission to support and defend our legacy of American Liberty and our Republic’s Founding Principles, in order that the fires of freedom would be ignited in the hearts and minds of our countrymen.

What does a country that gives $792,200,000 to Planned Parenthood in a single year deserve? And what does a country that has killed more than 60,000,000 children since 1973 deserve? The Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, but then the number of abortions in the United States went up even higher. We have been systematically wiping out future generations of Americans, and then we have the gall to claim that we are a great nation. In ancient times, the practice of child sacrifice allowed pagan societies to get rid of large numbers of unwanted babies. They sacrificed thousands of children to their “gods”, but we have sacrificed tens of millions of children on the altar of convenience.
According to the annual report that was just released by Planned Parenthood, the organization is performing more abortions than ever before…
402,230 abortions, an all-time high, and up from last year’s 392,715 abortions.
367,594 breast cancer screenings and Pap tests, down from 410,272 the previous year.
129,594 preventive care visits, roughly the same as last year’s 129,216.
2,148 adoption referrals, up from 1,721 the previous year but half the referrals made just five years ago.
2,223,680 contraceptive services, down from 2,250,913 the previous year.
2.08 million patients, slightly up from last year’s 2.05 million, but quite a drop-off from the 2.4 million reported five years ago.
Abortion is a key revenue generator for Planned Parenthood, and that is one of the reasons why it is pushed so hard over other services that are deemed to be less important…
Other pro-life commentators criticized the group, based on its latest report. “Planned Parenthood receives increased taxpayer dollars annually while actual health services regularly decrease,” Carole Novielli wrote for Live Action. “The organization now commits over 57 abortions for every one prenatal care service, and kills over 187 preborn babies for every one adoption referral.”
Those numbers are so revealing.
Ultimately, abortion is what Planned Parenthood is all about.
And now they are even helping women that live in states where abortion is restricted travel to other states where they can receive abortions…
For the second year in a row, Planned Parenthood also touted how it helps women from pro-life states travel elsewhere to get abortions. The abortion giant reports assisting more than 100,000 women seeking abortions in the past year. More than 12,500 women received on average $275 to go toward travel costs. That’s more than $3.4 million in direct funding for abortion travel.
The blood of the children that are being slaughtered is crying out for justice.
But the federal government is not against what Planned Parenthood is doing.
In fact, the federal government is the primary source of funding for what Planned Parenthood is doing.
According to the numbers that Planned Parenthood just released, the organization got nearly 800 million dollars in government funding in just 12 months…
$2.522 billion in net assets, up from $2.517 billion the previous year.
$792.2 million in government funding, up from $699.3 the previous year.
More than $2 billion in total revenue, almost equal to the previous year.
$27.4 million in excess revenue (calculated by subtracting total expenses from total revenues, down from 178.6 million the previous year).
$684.1 million in private contributions and bequests, down from $997.5 million reported the previous year.
Every year, hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars go to Planned Parenthood.
And every year those of us that are against abortion ask the federal government to stop doing that.
But every year our politicians in Washington just keep showering Planned Parenthood with more cash.
The federal government is the number one source of revenue for Planned Parenthood, and that makes the federal government complicit in their crimes.
The overturning of Roe v. Wade was an opportunity for our nation to repent.
In 2024, the number of abortions nationally rose 7 percent from the pre-Dobbs rate in 2020, according to the Guttmacher Institute, a research organization that supports abortion access. The increase is largely driven by medication abortions, which now account for nearly two-thirds of all terminations.
If we banned the abortion pill, we could eliminate about two-thirds of the abortions that happen in the U.S. annually.
But our leaders refuse to do that, even though a recent study has shown that more than 10 percent of the women that take an abortion pill “experience sepsis, infection, hemorrhaging, or another serious or life-threatening adverse event”…
In a first-of-its-kind study, “The Abortion Pill Harms Women”, the Ethics and Public Policy Center (EPPC) reveals that serious adverse events from mifepristone are approximately 22 times more frequent than the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) currently recognizes.
The study shows that, following a mifepristone abortion, 10.93 percent of women experience sepsis, infection, hemorrhaging, or another serious or life-threatening adverse event. That is, over one in ten patients experience at least one serious adverse event.
And we have also learned that more than 5 percent of the women that taken an abortion pill “undergo secondary abortions after the abortion pills they initially ingest fail”…
More than one in 20 women undergo secondary abortions after the abortion pills they initially ingest fail, according to just-published analysis.
The new study from the Ethics and Public Policy Center, which CBN News has previously reported on, found more than 5% of women had to pursue a repeat abortion within 45 days of taking mifepristone, the leading abortion-inducing pill. The data came from an analysis of insurance claims from 865,727 mifepristone abortions between 2017 and 2023.
Why won’t our politicians in Washington ban these extremely dangerous pills?
And why won’t our politicians in Washington stop showering Planned Parenthood with hundreds of millions of dollars each year?
There is no excuse for the inaction that we are witnessing.
If we continue to kill children on an industrial scale, there will be no future for America.
Life is so precious. One recent study actually found that humans “give off light”, but the study also discovered that the light that we give off “disappears upon death”…
Being made in the image of God could include giving off a “glow” until bodily death.
A newly released study of ultraweak photon emission (UPE) found not only that human beings give off light — a glow so faint it’s impossible to see with the naked eye — but that the glow disappears upon death.
The “light of life” is a real thing, and every day thousands of American children are having their lights suddenly extinguished.
How much time do we have left before we get what we deserve?
These days, if you dare to suggest that the United States is a Christian nation or that it should be a Christian nation, you are likely to get viciously attacked. There are many voices on the left that have convinced themselves that America has never been a Christian nation and that it will never be a Christian nation. But in our system of government matters of law are not settled by what intellectuals on the left think. Rather, in our system of government matters of law are settled by the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Supreme Court has spoken very clearly on this matter.
In Church of the Holy Trinity v. United States, the U.S. Supreme Court emphatically stated in 1892 that “this is a Christian nation”…
If we pass beyond these matters to a view of American life, as expressed by its laws, its business, its customs, and its society, we find every where a clear recognition of the same truth. Among other matters, note the following: the form of oath universally prevailing, concluding with an appeal to the Almighty; the custom of opening sessions of all deliberative bodies and most conventions with prayer; the prefatory words of all wills, “In the name of God, amen;” the laws respecting the observance of the Sabbath, with the general cessation of all secular business, and the closing of courts, legislatures, and other similar public assemblies on that day; the churches and church organizations which abound in every city, town, and hamlet; the multitude of charitable organizations existing every where under Christian auspices; the gigantic missionary associations, with general support, and aiming to establish Christian missions in every quarter of the globe. These, and many other matters which might be noticed, add a volume of unofficial declarations to the mass of organic utterances that this is a Christian nation.
Subsequently, in Zorach v. Clauson the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in 1952 that we “are a religious people whose institutions presuppose a Supreme Being”…
We are a religious people whose institutions presuppose a Supreme Being. We guarantee the freedom to worship as one chooses. We make room for as wide a variety of beliefs and creeds as the spiritual needs of man deem necessary. We sponsor an attitude on the part of government that shows no partiality to any one group and that lets each flourish according to the zeal of its adherents and the appeal of its dogma.
That same opinion contains a stinging rebuke for those that would seek to remove all traces of Christianity from public life…
The First Amendment, however, does not say that, in every and all respects there shall be a separation of Church and State. Rather, it studiously defines the manner, the specific ways, in which there shall be no concert or union or dependency one on the other. That is the common sense of the matter. Otherwise the state and religion would be aliens to each other — hostile, suspicious, and even unfriendly. Churches could not be required to pay even property taxes. Municipalities would not be permitted to render police or fire protection to religious groups. Policemen who helped parishioners into their places of worship would violate the Constitution. Prayers in our legislative halls; the appeals to the Almighty in the messages of the Chief Executive; the proclamations making Thanksgiving Day a holiday; “so help me God” in our courtroom oaths — these and all other references to the Almighty that run through our laws, our public rituals, our ceremonies would be flouting the First Amendment. A fastidious atheist or agnostic could even object to the supplication with which the Court opens each session: “God save the United States and this Honorable Court.”
When the U.S. Supreme Court sets a precedent, our entire system of government is bound by that precedent.
And according to a precedent that was set all the way back in 1892, we are a Christian nation.
So what happens when a Christian nation falls away from Christianity and embraces extreme evil?
Overall, more than 60 million children have been slaughtered in the United States since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973.
And even though Roe v. Wade has now been overturned, we continue to slaughter children at a staggering pace.
Today, most abortions in the United States are conducted by taking abortion pills. Every month, thousands upon thousands of women that live in states where abortion is restricted receive abortion pills in the mail from states where abortion is not restricted…
Thousands of women in states with abortion bans and restrictions are receiving abortion pills in the mail from states that have laws protecting prescribers, a new report shows.
Tuesday’s release of the #WeCount survey shows about 8,000 women a month in states that severely restrict abortion or place limits on having one through telehealth were getting the pills by mail by the end of 2023, the first time a number has been put on how often the medical system workaround is being used. The research was conducted for the Society of Family Planning, which supports abortion rights.
Another 8,000 women in states without bans or major restrictions on telehealth abortion were receiving pills each month through virtual appointments, the study showed.
This is a national disgrace.
But hardly anyone seems to care.
In some cases, babies that are being killed by abortion pills actually have a heartbeat when they come out…
Pro-life activist Lila Rose recently posted a heartbreaking screenshot to X. It was the experience of an American woman who took the abortion pill, posted to an online messaging board. It had a stark title, posed as a question: “passed the embryo, and it had a heartbeat?”
“I was 7 weeks, 3 days yesterday and took my second dose of pills (4 misoprostol dissolved in my cheek) around 4:30 p.m.,” the woman wrote. “By 9 [p.m.] I had passed everything fairly painlessly, however, last night during the peak of the cramps at 6:30, I went down to the restroom and before I could even sit down a fair amount of liquid poured out along with a small sac probably about the size of a small blueberry.”
“It was mostly clear/white with a dark red spot in the middle that was very, very clearly contracting like a heartbeat,” she continued. “It beat for probably 30-45 seconds then nothing and that literally shattered me. I have never felt this way and I feel so much regret. I don’t even know how what I saw is possible and I can’t find anyone talking about this happening. I’m so confused and feel unbelievably guilty.”
She saw her tiny baby’s heart beating and then stop – and was rightly horrified.
America is supposed to be a Christian nation.
What in the world has happened to us?
Research has shown that abortion pills can also be very dangerous for the women that are taking them…
Furthermore, new research provides evidence that as chemical abortions have become more common, the health risks have increased. A November 2021 study by Charlotte Lozier Institute scholars appeared in the peer-reviewed journal Health Services Research and Managerial Epidemiology. They analyzed state Medicaid data of over 400,000 abortions from 17 states that fund elective abortions through their Medicaid programs. They found that the rate of abortion-pill-related emergency-room visits increased over 500 percent from 2002 through 2015.
But you don’t hear much about this, do you?
They keep this very quiet, because they want as many American women as possible to take the pills.
What does God think about all of this?
He is looking down on a nation that has already killed more than 60 million children.
What does such a nation deserve?
Sadly, if we do not change course eventually we will find out.
A culture that loses its will to protect children is a culture that’s dying
British Prime Minister Keir StarmerAssociated Press / Photo by Jack Taylor, pool
You could be forgiven for not understanding what is going on in Britain with this grooming gang scandal. Gangs of Pakistani Muslim men have, for decades, groomed, raped, and even tortured white schoolgirls as young as eleven, and the police, social workers, prosecutors, and other officials have looked the other way for fear of being called racist. And the rabidly pro-feminist, social justice loving, virtue-signaling government just voted not to have a national inquiry into all this. Why?
It makes no sense whatsoever.
It seems that something is desperately wrong at a very deep level. Sure, there are disturbed individuals in every age capable of doing horrific things to others. But this is different. It is systemic child abuse. There is something deeply unsettling, even unnatural, about the failure of adults to protect the young. Even atheists take for granted that the authorities will act with a modicum of Christian concern for the neighbor. How could the authorities look the other way? How could a whole society just shrug?
Our universities have been infiltrated by professors who teach that the West is uniquely evil and that white people are all guilty of exploitation, violence, and slavery. This has been going on for so long that the generation now running society has internalized the idea that “whiteness” is evil. Morality has been reduced to self-hatred. It is the Christian doctrine of sin without redemption.
This pathological self-hatred manifests itself today in changing attitudes toward children. A visitor from another planet who dropped in on contemporary society would be struck by the fact that our species seems to be ambivalent about reproducing itself. In fact, our society appears to be anti-child.
First, consider the effects of abortion on demand. According to the Pew Research Center, there were just under a million abortions in 2023 in the United States. About a quarter of the children we conceive are killed, which pushes our fertility rates below replacement level. In 2023, the birth rate was a historic low. It is not just America; the patterns are the same across the entire Western world and, because of the influence of the West on the rest of the world, also globally. This generation is on the verge of failing to reproduce itself as the global fertility rate is predicted to fall below replacement level by the middle of this century. A society that will not protect children from abortion and transgenderism will not protect them from pedophiles or anything else.
Second, consider the impact of secular feminism. Contraception was widely accepted by Christians only in the 20th century. The invention and widespread adoption of oral contraceptives in the 1960s led to a sharp increase in the number of women working outside the home and the corresponding decrease in women making homemaking and motherhood their central focus (even among those who would prefer to do so). When this is coupled with a catastrophic rise in divorce rates it means that children are increasingly growing up in unstable home environments. In 2022 a total of 40% of American children were not living with both biological parents during their formative years. The bond between the generations is fraying.
Third, consider the sudden increase in transgender ideology in social media, schools, and various professions, including medicine and psychology. In the space of a decade the idea of sex change operations and hormone treatments for adolescents has been normalized even though it is obvious that children are incapable of giving consent to treatments that lead to unknown future health risks and almost certain sterility. How can one generation make the assumption that the next generation will be indifferent to the ability to procreate? It seems to indicate a great deal of ambiguity about the centrality of parenthood and family formation to human happiness.
Fourth, consider the increasingly obvious signs of the normalization of pedophilia all around us. The grooming gang scandal is not happening in a vacuum. The sexualization of children is everywhere. What started out as “sex education” in schools has descended into a push to normalize degeneracy via drag queen story hour. As children are desensitized to talk of sexual matters, they become more vulnerable to predators.
There is increasing evidence of pedophilia among the elites. Why on earth is the U.K. Labor government willing to take a massive hit in the polls in order to protect pedophiles?
A society that will not protect children from abortion and transgenderism will not protect them from pedophiles or anything else. Those with twisted sexual proclivities have always been there in the shadows. Buy today they are out and proud in the streets and in the classrooms. And the authorities protect them.
A culture that is anti-child is a culture committing suicide.
This edition of Crosstalk began with Jim reminding listeners in Florida, and particularly in Wisconsin, about today’s election. In Wisconsin the key race is between Republican Brad Schimel and Democrat Susan Crawford. Jim described this election (which has had over 100 million dollars poured into it) as really being about life vs. abortion, male and female vs. gender fluidity, religious liberty vs. religious bondage and the rule of law vs. judicial activism. As Jim explained, even congressional boundaries are at stake as well. Audio from House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries highlights this segment of the program.
The remainder of the program addressed some of the violence going on in American society today in order to make you “understanding of the times” (1 Chronicles 12:32). Matthew 24:37 tells us what life was like in the days of Noah and that this environment would repeat itself at the time of the coming of the Son of Man. Is it possible his coming is not far off? You decide as Jim gives you a brief glimpse of the violence through numerous stories like the ones below:
Violence in the womb–Since the Supreme Court’s abortion decision in 1973, there’s been just over 66.6 million babies killed in the U.S. via abortion.
An American teenage girl was taken into custody by Paris police after her newborn baby was thrown from the window of a hotel on the outskirts of the city. The baby died of severe injuries.
A Kentucky museum says a Planned Parenthood staffer inadvertently provided sexually explicit coloring books to kids as young as 8 years old at an event earlier this month.
Lawmakers in Maryland advanced a bill (HB-380—the “Condoms for Kiddies” bill) that would allow public schools to add birth control vending machines. The bill passed in the House and now moves on to the Senate.
At a public high school in Fairfax County, Virginia, a Women’s History Month display utilizing each letter of the alphabet began with, “A-is for abortion.”
A Wisconsin teenager accused of stabbing his mother to death said his actions were inspired by the Menendez brothers who were convicted of the 1989 murders of their parents.
3 teenage girls have been sentenced, accused of trying to kill their mother after she turned off the wifi in their house.
Jim looked at more stories and callers were given a chance to respond.
What does a nation that has killed more than 60 million of their own children deserve? Every single day, the number of American children that are killed exceeds the number of Americans that were killed on 9/11. Every single year, the number of American children that are killed is nearly equal to the number of Americans that have been killed in all of the wars that the U.S. has ever been involved in combined. More than 60 million babies have been slaughtered since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973. At this point, we have become a society that has very little regard for human life. Most Americans don’t know what is going on behind closed doors at our abortion clinics, and most Americans simply don’t care. But the truth is that abortion is at the very core of what is wrong with America. We have killed tens of millions of our own children, and we continue to kill even more with each passing day. No nation that does such a thing could ever be considered a “good” nation.
Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022. But our politicians in Washington didn’t pass a law to end the killing that year, or the year after that, or the year after that, and it certainly won’t happen this year. Of course the truth is that survey after survey has shown that most Americans do not want the killing to stop. Sadly, this is especially true for young women of childbearing age. The following are 25 facts about abortion in America that should make you very sick…
#2 The number of abortions performed in the U.S. actually went up during the 12 months immediately following the overturning of Roe v. Wade…
The average number of abortions performed each month in the US rose in the year after the supreme court overturned Roe v Wade and allowed more than a dozen states to ban the procedure, according to data released on Tuesday from a research group backed by the Society of Family Planning.
#3 In 2023, more than a million abortions were performed in the United States. That was the first year since 2012 that we have surpassed the one million abortion mark.
#4 Approximately 3,000 Americans lost their lives as a result of the destruction of the World Trade Center towers on 9/11. Every single day, more than 3,000 American babies are killed by abortion.
#5 The number of American babies killed by abortion each year is roughly equal to the number of U.S. military deaths that have occurred in all of the wars that the United States has ever been involved in combined.
#6Approximately 22 percent of all pregnancies in the United States end in abortion. That means that more than one out of every five Americans is killed before they can even start their lives.
#8 Today, approximately 80 percent of all abortions are performed within the first 10 weeks of pregnancy.
#9 If a state passes a law that bans abortion after 9 weeks or after 12 weeks, they are actually legalizing the vast majority of the abortions that already take place.
#10 Unmarried women account for 88 percent of all abortions in the United States.
#11 Pew Research has discovered that 62 percent of U.S. adults think that “abortion should be legal in all or most cases”…
A median of 71% of adults across the 24 countries surveyed believe abortion should be legal in all or most cases, while a median of 27% believe it should be illegal.
In the United States, where a Supreme Court decision ended the constitutional right to abortion last year, 62% of adults say abortion should be legal in all or most cases. U.S. support for legal abortion has not changed in recent years.
In Europe, there is widespread agreement that abortion should be legal. In nearly every European country surveyed, at least 75% of adults hold this view, including roughly 25% or more who say it should be legal in all cases.
#12 According to a survey that was conducted in August 2024, 74 percent of all women in the United States between the ages of 18 and 49 believe that abortion should be legal…
According to findings released Wednesday by KFF, a nonprofit health think tank, 74% of women in the U.S. ages 18 to 49 think abortion should be legal. Around 70% support a federal right to abortion — the position held by Vice President Kamala Harris in a presidential election in which abortion rights are expected to be a motivating factor for many voters.
Nearly half of Republican women of reproductive age said abortion should be legal in most or all cases.
According to Gallup’s May 2023 update on Americans’ abortion views, 34% believe abortion should be legal “under any circumstances,” 51% say it should be legal “only under certain circumstances,” and 13% say it should be illegal in all circumstances.
#14 In 2023, medication abortion accounted for 63 percent of all U.S. abortions. Medication abortion accounted for just 6 percent of all abortions in 2001.
#15 The U.S. has done more to promote abortion around the world than any other nation. More than 1.5 billion abortions have been performed worldwide since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973. The total population of the world is currently about 8 billion.
#16 According to the official website of the World Health Organization, there are approximately 73 million abortions globally each year. If you multiply that number by 10, you get 730 million abortions in just one decade, and if you multiply that number by 20, you get almost 1.5 billion abortions in just two decades.
#17 Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger once made the following statement…
“The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.”
#18 In a 1922 book entitled “Woman, Morality, and Birth Control”, Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger wrote the following….
“Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race.”
#22 The average cost of a first trimester abortion in the United States is typically between 600 dollars and 800 dollars.
#23 The average cost of a vaginal birth with no complications in the United States is now around 13,000 dollars.
#2430 percent of U.S. women that have abortions identify as Protestant, and 24 percent of U.S. women that have abortions identify as Catholic.
#25 Tissue from aborted babies is often sold and used in various forms of “medical research”. The following comes from the New York Post…
Stomach-churning emails show Planned Parenthood negotiating terms regarding the donation of aborted fetuses for medical research.
The emails discuss fetal tissue like any other commodity such as sugar or rice, nonchalantly negotiating for fetuses up to 23 weeks old from elective abortions.
A heavily-redacted so-called “Research Plan” submitted to the University of California San Diego (UCSD) Institutional Review Board and approved in 2018 states scientists wanted 2,500 fetuses from up to almost the sixth month of gestation for experimentation.
How can we do this?
Decades of relentless propaganda have convinced us that what we are doing is perfectly fine.
And every single year, politicians from both political parties that support abortion continue to win elections.
Our politicians talk about how we need to spread our values to the rest of the world, but what kind of “values” do we really have when we have such little respect for human life?
There is no hope for America as long as this mass slaughter of innocent children continues to go on all across the United States.
Please share this list of facts about abortion in America with as many people as you can.
We need to wake people up while there is still time to do so.
Sadly, most Americans spend their days in an entertainment-induced haze and take very little time to think about the issues that really matter.
And if you think that the issue of abortion does not matter, you are dead wrong.
The blood of more than 60 million children is crying out to us from the ground where it has been spilled.
Yes, this article is going to make a lot of people uncomfortable, but it is the truth.
Isn’t it time that someone started telling the truth in America?
JD Vance’s (L) speech highlighted examples of silencing of Christians in Europe—and there are many to choose from. Other examples are Rose Docherty (top right), arrested for praying silently outside an abortion clinic in Scotland, and Finnish former interior minister Päivi Räsänen (bottom right) repeatedly persecuted for quoting the Bible.
Photo: Rebecca Droke / AFP; Scottish Family Party (arrest); (Vance) ADF International (Räsänen);
Scottish woman arrested for “silent vigil,” UK veteran for an anti-gender ideology post, Päivi Räsänen prosecuted for quoting the Bible… Where were the defenders of liberal values then?
Vice President JD Vance confronted the European elites with their hypocrisies at the Munich Security Conference earlier this month. He detailed the democratic failings of Europe’s leaders; highlighted their fear of dissident voters who stubbornly insist on voting for populist parties; noted the growing migration crisis across the continent. But perhaps most importantly, he addressed an issue that few Western leaders are willing to discuss out loud: the growing censorship and prosecution of Europe’s Christians.
Vance’s speech has become something of a Rorschach test. For some, it was a deplorable and deliberately disruptive salvo aimed at the heart of the post-war international order. For others, it was a desperately needed and long overdue exercise in difficult truth-telling. The speech was effective because Vance brought in specific details. He cited the case of Adam Smith-Connor—the man arrested after praying for his own aborted child near an abortion clinic in the UK, the first conviction for a thought-crime in modern Britain—and the draconian “exclusion zones” in Scotland, in which even thinking pro-life thoughts is illegal.
Those outraged by Vance’s speech dismissed these examples, and this is no surprise—they have been doing so for decades. The same commentators who are reduced to wild-eyed babbling over the Hungarian government declining to subsidize institutions opposed to its values are content to dismiss the arrests and prosecutions of Christians as a bug (if not a feature) of the “norms” they seek to defend. But Vance could have cited dozens of additional cases from the past few years.
Anne Applebaum, for example, is one of the most prominent public prophets warning about the “twilight of democracy” in Europe, but has yet to mention the years-long persecution of Finnish politician Päivi Räsänenfor merely quoting the Bible—and Räsänen isn’t just a veteran like Smith-Connor. She was Finland’s Minister of the Interior for 2011 to 2015. One would think that the criminal prosecution of a political leader for citing Scripture in public media interviews would be precisely the sort of thing Applebaum and her comrades are so concerned about. You would be wrong.
But there is little doubt that if Räsänen was defending LGBT ideology in Hungary or Poland, the elites would rush to the barricades and shriek about the coming darkness.
Others are thrilled that Vance was willing to speak out. As Lois McLatchie Miller, a senior legal communications officer with Alliance Defending Freedom International, told me:
Vice President Vance’s speech was a much-needed reflection of the dire state of fundamental freedoms in Europe. Adam Smith-Connor was prosecuted and convicted on the basis of his silent thoughts—it doesn’t get much worse than that in a society that claims to be free. When individuals can be interrogated, arrested, prosecuted, and convicted for silent prayer, we must conclude that the state of fundamental freedoms is in crisis.
Smith-Connor’s arrest and conviction for thought crime is egregious, but his case is by no means an exception—as Vance pointed out in his speech. It isn’t just Christians, but any dissident who dares to disagree publicly with LGBT ideology, abortion, or other establishment sacred cows. A few additional examples:
In 2022, Vassilis Tsiartas, widely considered to be one of the greatest Greek soccer stars of all time, was convicted of “transphobic” social media posts and given a 10-month suspended prison sentence and 5,000 euro fine for “violence or hatred for reasons of gender identity.”
In 2023, French journalist Dora Moutot was investigated for “misgendering” a trans-identifying politician and further allegations of “insult” and “incitement.” They were ultimately dismissed, but as Moutot observed, street-level violence is also used to silence freedom of speech.
Harry Miller, a UK dockworker, was investigated by the police for retweeting a limerick mocking transgenderism. The experience turned him into a free speech activist.
In 2022, Kellie-Jay Keen, also known as “Posie Parker,” was told by police that she could be arrested if she didn’t attend a “voluntary” police interview after a rally opposing gender ideology because she’d been accused of a “hate crime.”
In 2023, the Norwegian filmmaker and actress Tonje Gjevjon was criminally investigated for stating that men cannot be lesbians; her compatriot, the feminist Christina Ellingsen, was investigated for saying that men cannot become women. (Gjevjon is a lesbian.)
The list goes on; groups like ADF International are kept very busy defending the rights of the censored and the suppressed. Many of these stories are easily sensational enough to warrant a column or two from the commentators currently warning us that Vance’s speech is “dangerous.” An ex-soldier who fought for his country put in handcuffs because he doesn’t think men can become women? A Greek soccer star convicted for social media posts condemning an ideology that gained cultural dominance less than a decade ago? A prominent cabinet minister quoting from the Book that gave birth to our civilization? Crickets. Where were the defenders of the liberal order then?
Vance’s speech was potent precisely because it was true—but this is the first time someone with hard power said it out loud in front of the very leaders responsible for these speech regimes.

Leftist Judge Kollar-Kotelly and pro-Life activist Paula Harlow. Kollar-Kotelly mocked Harlow as she sent her to prison to suffer and die. President Trump pardoned Harlow after his second Inauguration.
Some people are so vile and debased that they should never hold public office.
On Thursday Federal Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly decided she was the true elected leader of the United States and she blocked the the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from obtaining access to ‘sensitive‘ Treasury Department payment records for a period of time.
Kollar-Kotelly is very upset that President Trump, Elon Musk, and the DOGE investigators were finding billions of dollars in fraudulent payments in their investigation of the federal government.
Kollar-Kotelly decided she must take action and she put a stop to this fraud-finding operation.
Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly wrote in her order that Treasury officials “will not provide access to any payment record or payment system of records maintained within the [Treasury] Bureau of Fiscal Service.”
This ruling comes after multiple government employee unions sued the Treasury Department over who could access the material.
Democrats are outraged that President Trump and Elon Musk are saving billions for the American people.
On Friday we were reminded that this is not the first time Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly made headlines.
Back in June 2024 Life News reported on Kollar-Kotelly’s disgraceful actions.
In May, 2024, in a federal Washington, D.C. court, Kollar-Kotelly sentenced Harlow to two years in jail and 36 months of supervised release for protesting at a notorious late-term abortion clinic in Washington, D.C. with eight others.
She was the tenth defendant to be sentenced by the Biden Regime related to the peaceful abortion protest.
Paulette Harlow, who is 75 years old, participated in a peaceful protest at an abortion clinic in 2020 and didn’t hurt anyone.
Here is video of Paulette Harlow praying and peacefully protesting in an abortion clinic:
According to Catholic News Agency, Harlow has significant health issues. Her husband fears she may die in prison.
“Paula Paulette Harlow, 75, of Kingston, Massachusetts, was sentenced in U.S. District Court today to 24 months incarceration for her role in a conspiracy that created a blockade at a Washington, D.C. reproductive health care clinic to prevent the clinic from providing, and patients from receiving, reproductive health services.” the DOJ said in a press release earlier this month.
Judge Kotelly mocked Paula Harlow’s Christian faith when she sentenced her to prison as her husband begged for mercy expressing his fear his wife would die alone in prison.
The judge taunted the elderly woman and mocked her Christian faith and told her to honor the “tenets” of her religion and not die in jail.
When it comes to leftism, most of us have learned long ago that there is little that they can do or say that will surprise us any longer. So many of these folks are so unhinged and so beyond reasoning with, that all we can do is sit back, grab the popcorn, and watch them implode as they make num nums of themselves.
We saw this massively just before, during and after the election of Trump. How many of these loons swore off having any sexual relations with men and the like? One report at the time said this about the 4B Movement:
Interest in a radical feminist movement where women refuse to date, get married, have sex with men or have children appears to have skyrocketed since Donald Trump won the 2024 US election. Google Trends shows searches for “4B Movement” in the country shot up after the Republican’s victory.
OK, yeah sure, that will fix all our problems. Indeed, to many of us that seemed like it was a great idea. That should slow down – for a while at least – the promiscuous sex, the out-of-wedlock children, the abortions, and so on. Sounds like a plan, and something we can approve of.
But some of them have not needed Trump as an excuse to swear off any sort of procreation. Many simply do not want kids. Once again, that is fine by us. Less leftists being born into the world can only be a good thing. In the meantime, conservatives continue to marry and have children. We may be winning the culture wars simply by demographics.
One example of the no-kids brigade is the newly elected Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee, David Hogg. The young leftist just tweeted this: “Like me? I’m never planning on having kids. I would much rather own a Porsche and have a Portuguese water dog and golden doodle. Long term it’s cheaper, better for The environment and will never tell you that it hates you or ask you to pay for college.”
Sure, some folks cannot have kids, and some folks simply do not want kids. That is their choice. But many of these folks who claim they will live the good life childless will later on really regret it. It can get quite lonely in old age, but again, that is their choice.
Another quite recent example of this no sex or no kids sort of “protest” against Trump and conservatism involves – surprise, surprise – another Democrat. As one media report says:
A Democratic Michigan state representative says she chose to undergo a “voluntary sterilization” to avoid pregnancy after Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election. State Rep. Laurie Pohutsky, 36, told a crowd of anti-Trump protesters at the Michigan State Capitol on Wednesday, “Just under two weeks ago, I underwent surgery to ensure that I would never have to navigate a pregnancy in Donald Trump’s America,” The Midwesterner reported.
Pohutsky, who identifies as “bisexual,” represents part of Wayne County, the largest county in a state where abortion is legal through all nine months of pregnancy. “I refuse to let my body be treated as currency by an administration that only sees value in my ability to procreate,” Pohutsky told the crowd of protesters.
“If you know people who are questioning how serious this is, I’m going to repeat myself: A sitting government official opted for voluntary sterilization because she was uncertain she would be able to access contraception in the future,” she added, according to Michigan Advance.
This is all so bizarre. As I say, it sounds like a win-win situation: less of them, more of us. But if folks want to refuse bringing children into the world, even if temporarily, and as a weird form of protest, they can do it in a free country. I am not sure if it will accomplish anything worthwhile, however.
It simply tells the great majority of Americans how abnormal, messed up, and out of whack some of these lefties really are. It is not exactly great advertising for their side. It simply turns more and more ordinary citizens off to their cause. The more insanity coming from this camp, the less that normal Americans want anything to do with it.
Clearly folks like this have learned absolutely zippo about what happened on November 5. By every indicator, the American people said loud and clear that enough is enough when it comes to woke, progressive madness. They want to have a safe, secure and prosperous country, not one pushing every hardcore radical agenda item around.
The more these guys and gals open their mouths and tell us how they feel and what they want, the less inclined most Americans are to have anything to do with them. They will keep voting for folks like Trump, and keep turning on the useless Democrats.
So as I say, in one sense it is all rather a good thing. Let these lefty loons keep saying and doing all these crazy and annoying things. They only ensure that they will continue to remain in the political and cultural wilderness for a long time to come, while Trump and Co will go on from strength to strength.
It used to be that conservatives needed to work long and hard to see their aims and objectives accomplished. Now increasingly the lefties are doing so much of the work for us. Thanks guys, and keep it up. It is fun to watch the fringe left become ever more unpalatable and unsavoury to the majority of American citizens.
Why do so many Democrat voters believe in conspiracy theories that don’t match reality? Well, if you look closely at the news sources they read, then you can understand why. Take this case of the New York Times, a former newspaper, fact-checking Trump about his claim that Democrats support infanticide. Trump is wrong, claims the NY Times. But what is the truth?
In a Friday article, The New York Times highlighted the Republican leader’s video address during the 2025 March for Life rally in Washington, D.C.
The newspaper mentioned Trump’s appearance at the annual pro-life demonstration in a piece analyzing some opposition within the movement to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nomination for health secretary.
“At the march on Friday, Mr. Trump repeated false claims about abortion rights, vowing to ‘stop the radical Democrat push for a federal right to unlimited abortion on demand up to the moment of birth and even after birth,’” The New York Times reported. “Mr. Vance called Mr. Trump’ the most pro-family, most pro-life American president of our lifetimes.’ The crowd roared.”
Oh my goodness, Democrats are pro-life? They don’t vote against legislation that protects babies born alive during abortions?
The article continues:
Every Democrat in the U.S. Senate voted this month against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act introduced by Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla. The bill would have guaranteed equal protection under the law for “any infant born alive after an abortion.”
Under the proposed legislation, all health care practitioners present during the birth of an infant who survives an abortion attempt must “exercise the same degree of professional skill, care, and diligence to preserve the life and health of the child as a … health care practitioner would render to any other child born alive at the same gestational age.”
Oh, so they Democrats do support infanticide. And this position of Democrat legislators isn’t new. In fact, Barack Obama also voted in favor of infanticide when he was a state senator in Illinois.
In fact, here is the New York Times (a former newspaper) reporting on it:
Both Mr. Obama and his critics agree that, as chairman of the Health and Human Services Committee in the state legislature in 2003, he led efforts to defeat a bill called the Born Alive Infants Protection Act.
“He led efforts to defeat a bill called the Born Alive Infants Protection Act.” in 2003. Oh! So this support for infanticide is not even new, it goes back over 20 years.
Back to the Christian Post article, you can see that these secular leftists really love infanticide:
Other abortion-related legislation that recently made headlines includes a proposed constitutional amendment in Virginia that critics say could establish a right to abortion throughout all nine months of pregnancy.
In a 21-19 vote this month, the Democrat-controlled Virginia Senate approved Senate Joint Resolution 247 along party lines. The passage means that the Virginia General Assembly can weigh in on the proposal to amend the Virginia Constitution for a second time following the next general election.
They want to have the recreational sex with hot strangers, and then they don’t want to be “punished with a baby”, as old Obama used to say. Like children, they don’t want any consequences for their own pleasure-seeking. And they’ve never grown out of that.
It’s not just Obama. Many, many Democrat voters supported his rise to the presidency. Why? Because infanticide is actually totally normal for Democrat voters, and the only time they deny it is when Trump describes accurately what they have been supporting for years. Then suddenly they have to pretend like they haven’t been supporting infanticide – and voting for pro-infanticide candidates – for years. And they expect you to believe them, because they hope you don’t read anything except the New York Times.
In debates between Christianity and atheism, the Christian will often introduce a moral fact, such as “torturing little babies for fun is wrong”, as an example of a moral fact that everyone agrees on. The problem is that Democrats like Barack Obama, and his allies at the New York Times, DO NOT agree on this fact. And when you point this out to them, that’s when they have to start lying about it. And they just hope that you are dumb enough to believe them.
It’s very important to understand that secular leftists use moral language in order to sound like moral people. But they have no understanding of morality, any more than a cat understands the titles of books while walking around in a library. Morality has no rational foundation in atheism. There’s no such thing as objective moral values and moral duties on atheism. And no moral choices, because there’s no free will. And no accountability when you die.
If you’re still reading trash like the New York Times, just be aware that this is not real news. Its just Democrat party propaganda.
Joe Biden’s radical abortion agenda has taken a huge hit from the news administration of President Donald Trump, who has restored the Hyde Amendment that disallows using tax dollars for elective abortions domestically, and the Mexico City Policy, that bars federal funding for international groups that abort the unborn.
Liberty Counsel chief Mat Staver, whose legal organization often has fought on behalf of the unborn, said, “Through these pro-life executive actions, President Trump is protecting the most vulnerable and returning the federal government to the side of pro-life. American taxpayer dollars should never be used to murder innocent life.”
A fact sheet posted online by the White House explains, Trump’s executive order is “to end the use of federal taxpayer dollars to fund or promote elective abortion.
It recognizes that, “for nearly five decades, Congress has enacted the Hyde Amendment and a series of additional laws to protect taxpayers from being forced to pay for abortion. Contrary to this longstanding commonsense policy, the previous administration embedded federal funding of elective abortion in a wide variety of government programs.”
The White House announcement said Trump reversed two of Biden’s orders that violated the Hyde Amendment, his “whole-of-government” scheme to promote abortion and politicize the FACE Act, and an order by Biden arbitrarily declaring that elective abortion is “healthcare.”
The Mexico City Policy provides similar protections for American taxpayers from being forced to pay for abortion internationally.
Trump’s actions previously also cut funding for the United Nations Population Fund, which advocates for coercive abortion and forced sterilizations, stopped federal fetal tissue research and provided protections for healthcare entities and individuals’ conscience rights.
The Hyde Amendment, first enacted in 1976, is an annual legislative provision included in federal spending bills to prevent American taxpayer dollars from directly funding abortions except in the rare cases of rape, incest, or to save the mother’s life, Liberty Counsel explained.
It cited a 2016 report from the Charlotte Lozier Institute that estimated the amendment had saved more than two million lives by its 40th anniversary.
The right to life is being championed big time by the new Trump administration:
Donald J. Trump and J. D. Vance have done more in their first five days in office than just about any other presidential team in history. Whether it has been dealing with the border crisis, achieving key objectives in international relations, putting real brakes on various woke and DEI agendas, or standing against the radical trans and abortion camps, it has been amazing to see all that they have accomplished.
I like how my social media friend Robert A. J. Gagnon put it just moments ago:
Every faithful Christian should recognize that Trump just had the greatest and most productive first week of any President since at least FDR in 1932, almost a century ago. He is literally wearing out the leftwing Democrat-propaganda media by attacking on all fronts, for the good of the country. After four years of Sleepy Joe Biden, for whom a live unscripted press conference was almost as rare as a unicorn with wings, they literally can’t keep up with a 78 year-old man. After one week, Trump’s administration is already light years better than Biden’s ever was and infinitely better than a Harris administration would have been. It is not even close. Never-Trumpers should all humble themselves and confess that they were wrong. Those that endorsed Harris/Walz should repent in sackcloth and ashes for at least 90 days, and then take a vow of silence for one year not to comment on political matters other than to admit their grievous error. It turns out all along that the greatest threat to our democracy was … the “Democrats.” Who knew, except those of us who had been shouting it from the housetops for years, and were belittled and denounced for doing so?
But what has been really incredible and glorious to witness are all the pro-life initiatives and policies pouring forth from the new team in the White House. Here is a summary of a new article listing all the achievements so far:
Trump’s 9 Pro-Life Actions During His First Week:
– Scrapped Biden’s pro-abortion web site
– Signed order saying human life begins at conception
– Pardoned 23 pro-life Americans
– Defunded International Planned Parenthood
– Enforced Hyde Amendment
– Video address to March for Life – Stopped lawfare against pro-life Americans
– Endorsed Born Alive bill to protect abortion survivors
– Signed Geneva Declaration saying no right to abortion
Thank you @POTUS!
The article it was taken from ends this way:
Collectively, these actions during President Trump’s first week in office highlight a concerted effort to implement pro-life policies both domestically and internationally. By reinstating and enforcing policies that restrict federal funding for abortion services and participating in pro-life events, the administration has demonstrated its commitment to advancing the pro-life agenda. https://www.lifenews.com/2025/01/25/heres-9-pro-life-actions-president-trump-took-during-his-first-week/
Those achievements alone, in such a short space of time, are phenomenal. Sure, much more needs to be done, but we must never ‘despise the days of small beginnings,’ although these pro-life actions were far from small. So stay tuned for more pro-life legislation and policies to occur in the days and weeks ahead. And keep the President and team in your prayers, as the pro-death camp is going utterly berserk over all this.
President Trump even gave a brief video speech to the 52nd annual March for Life in Washington D. C. on Friday. He said this in part:
I am proud to be the first president ever to have joined you in person. As you know this annual March started 52 years ago on the first anniversary of the disastrous ruling known as Roe v Wade. That unconstitutional decision took power away from the states and the voters kicking off 50 years of division and anger. But thanks to your tireless work and devotion across five decades that historic wrong was set right three years ago. I was so proud to be a participant. Six courageous justices of the Supreme Court of the United States returned the issue to the state legislators and to the people where it belongs. It became a vote of the people.
In my second term we will again stand proudly for families and for life. We will protect the historic gains we have made and stopped the radical Democrat push for a federal right who unlimited abortion on demand up to the moment of birth and even after birth. Think of that: after birth. And some people want that – can you believe it? We will work to offer a loving hand to new mothers and young families and we will support adoption and foster care. We will protect women and vulnerable children. Under my leadership a reformed Department of Justice will finally investigate the radical left attacks on churches and crisis pregnancy centers and we will bring perpetrators to justice.
We will get them to justice one way or the other. I will also end the weaponization of law enforcement against Americans of faith and I’m releasing the Christians and pro-life activists who were persecuted by the Biden regime for praying and living out their faith. I just signed that document and they’re being released. One such American was Paula Harlow. At 75 years old Paula was sentenced to two years in prison after praying outside of a clinic. That’s why she was sentenced to two years. That’s what happened under the Biden regime.
In her sentencing the judge mocked her Christian faith while her husband pleaded to be thrown in jail with his wife fearing she would die alone behind bars. This week it was my honor to grant a full and complete pardon to Paula and many others who were the victims of this horrific weaponization. Never again will religious persecution be allowed to happen in America.
But it is not just Trump getting involved in the pro-life cause. The new Vice President attended the rally and here are some of his stirring remarks:
Thank you for having me, and it is an honor to be standing with you here today for a life. We are proud to march with you, and yes, we will be back next year. The excitement, the passion, the unwavering conviction that every single person here on the National Mall clearly feels it is deeply moving to me and means more to President Trump and I than I could possibly say.
For over a half century this March has united tens of thousands of Americans from all walks of life to rally for the cause of life in our nation It is the single largest gathering in the world to celebrate our movement the victories we’ve fought so hard for, and yes the victories yet to come….
By and large our society, our country has not yet stepped up in the way you have. And our government certainly has failed in that important responsibility. We failed a generation not only by permitting a culture of abortion on demand but also by neglecting to help young parents achieve the ingredients they need to live a happy and meaningful life. A culture of radical individualism took root – one where the responsibilities and joys of family life were seen as obstacles to overcome, not as personal fulfillment or personal blessings.
Our society has failed to recognize the obligation that one generation has to another is a core part of living in a society to begin with. So let me say very simply I want more babies in the United States of America. I want more happy children in our country, and I want and I want beautiful young men and women who are eager to welcome them in into the world and eager to raise them.
And it is the task of our government to make it easier for young moms and dads to afford to have kids, to bring them into the world, and to welcome them as the blessings that we know they are here at the March for Life. Now it should be easier, easier to raise a family, easier to find a good job, easier to build a home to raise that family in, easier to save up and purchase a good stroller, a crib for a nursery. We need a culture that celebrates life at all stages – one that recognizes and truly believes that the benchmark of national success is not our GDP number or our stock market but whether people feel that they can raise thriving and healthy families in our country.
Some of his concluding words were these:
With his return to office, no longer will the federal government direct FBI raids on the homes of people like Mark Houck and other Catholic and Christian activists who are fighting for the unborn every single day. And no longer will our government throw pro-life protesters and activists, elderly grandparents, or anybody else in prison. It stopped on Monday and we’re not going to let it come back to this country. Instead, and I know you all saw the news, the 47th President has already issued pardons to those unjustly imprisoned.
And I want to be clear that this Administration stands by you we stand with you and most importantly we stand with the most vulnerable and the basic principle that people exercising the right to protest on behalf of the most vulnerable should never have the government go after them ever again.
Now the crowd assembled here in this incredible National Mall provides an extraordinary example for our nation. You donate to diaper banks you help find housing for those in need you help fund the crisis pregnancy centers that give help to young women and young men in a time of crisis. You guys are the beating heart of the pro-life movement and you’ve saved many lives already and you’re going to save more again.
You being here at this very march is a reminder of the incredible strength and unity of the pro-life movement and from the bottom of my heart thank you thank you for being here and thank you for marching here today. And most importantly in your works you remind us that the March for Life is not just a single event that happens on a frigid January day – the March for Life is the work of the pro-life movement every single day from this point forward.
Now it is a lifelong call to action, a moment in time, but every single day that you guys do what you do from supporting young moms and dads to fighting for the unborn to working with our legislatures at the state and federal level, you make it possible for us to stand here and say that America is fundamentally a pro-baby, a pro-life, and a pro-family country.
So exciting things are now happening in America. Making America much more pro-life is an integral part of making America great again. I am so thankful Trump and Vance are now leading the United States of America, and not the pro-death Dems, Kamala and Joe.
Reproductiverights.gov, a government-funded site that provided information and resources to women seeking “reproductive care,” has been shut down and is no longer presently online, as reported by multiple news sources.
The site, which was set up by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in 2022, was designed to make it easier for women to murder their babies, linking to the website ‘abortionfinder.org’ while also telling people how they can access emergency contraceptives and abortifacient drugs. Notably, it did not link to crisis pregnancy centers, despite claiming to want to help women access ‘appropriate information and support’ about reproductive care.’ The website itself reads:
Reproductive health care, including access to birth control and safe and legal abortion care, is an essential part of your health and well-being. While Roe v. Wade was overturned, abortion remains legal in many states, and other reproductive health care services remain protected by law. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is committed to providing you with accurate and up-to-date information about access to and coverage of reproductive health care and resources.”
An archived version of the site shows:
While taking down the website would be within the purview of Trump’s team and in line with his administration’s view on abortion, with the website last archived on January 15th and no official or independent confirmation from the newly formed government, it is unclear who took it down, and whether it may come back up.
