THE NEW DEMOCRAT PARTY: Virginia Democrats Vote in Deranged Man Who Wants to Kill Republicans and See Their Children Die in their Mother’s Arms | The Gateway Pundit

A speaker stands at a podium with American and Virginia flags in a well-lit auditorium, addressing an audience during a formal event.

A poll sent out to Democrats in Virginia in October found that 93% of Democrats approved of Republican politicians being murdered and their children dying in their mother’s arms.

Virginia Democrats on Tuesday voted in Jay Jones for the Commonwealth’s Attorney General. Jones famously called for killing the children of a prominent Republican

Democrats are no longer safe to be around. They offer nothing to the country but still want to kill Republicans and their kids.

The poll asked if the texts sent out by Virginia Attorney General nominee Jay Jones that called for the murder of Republicans, their kids and police we’re disqualifying to run for AG

93% of Democrats responded NO

We cannot coexist with liberals. They literally want us dead

John Fredericks discussed the above poll that shows how Virginia Democrats feel about Jay Jones’ texts that Republicans should be killed and their families will suffer.

John Fredericks: So I just got a poll. Just came out last night. Got it when I got up today. This is really going to not sit well with you. A poll was sanctioned by the John Reid for Lieutenant Governor campaign. So I got the insight on it. It hasn’t been released yet.

But here’s the one number that is going to make you sick to your stomach. Here’s the one number – When Democrats in Virginia were asked, did the text that Jay Jones sent to a colleague calling for the assassination of, at that time, Republican Speaker Todd Gilbert, his wife, his kids, hoping his kids would die in her arms so she could suffer, calling for police to die so he could get policy on qualified immunity. When asked the question, Are these texts disqualifying for your candidate for attorney general?

7% of Virginia Democrats said yes. 93 said no. Basically, if you’re a Virginia Democrat, you have no problem with your candidate for attorney general threatening his assassination of a speaker of the House, his wife, his kids, and want to see the kids die in her arms. We have to see cops die in Virginia.

Only 7% reject that.

Here is a copy of the text messages by Jay Jones on murdering Republicans. Jones is running for Attorney General in the state.

This is next level democracy.

Even the Democrat candidate for governor is OK with this murder talk.

This was wild. Awkward.

Never seen anything like it. pic.twitter.com/4ZOs0axg7R

Democrats want you dead.

Understand the playing field.

Jay Jones has ADMITTED to sending the texts wishing death upon Virginia GOP speaker of the house’s children.

And hasn’t lost a SINGLE endorsement.

The left does not just disagree with you.

They want you dead, and now they admit it publicly. pic.twitter.com/9LsOjzcOXQ

Democrats want to kill us.

And tonight they voted for the man who wants to kill your children.
Never forget this.

Famed poem calls America ‘heav’n rescued land.’

Many Americans have a startling lack of knowledge about their own national anthem.

Studies in recent years show 90 percent of children could not say what a national anthem was, never mind sing it. Neither could 80 percent of adults sing more than three lines.

It began as a poem by Francis Scott Key, who witnessed the bombardment by the British of Fort McHenry in the War of 1812. It was set to music using a tune of a popular British song and was recognized by the Navy in 1889 for official use.

President Woodrow Wilson acknowledged it in 1916, and Congress acted in 1931 to make it official.

There have been some differences over the lyrics, especially the third verse, but the commonly accepted words are:

Oh, say can you see by the dawn’s early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe’s haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o’er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning’s first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
‘Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh long may it wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion,
A home and a country should leave us no more!
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps’ pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war’s desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav’n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust.”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

It has been performed by a wide range of groups and in a variety of styles, although most performances do not include the latter verses, including the fourth stanza’s description of American as a “heav’n rescued land” with “In God is our Trust” for a motto.

What We Celebrate On The Fourth | ZeroHedge

Authored by Armstrong Williams via The Epoch Times,

There are many who will gather this July Fourth under the guise of celebration—barbecues, fireworks, flag-waving. But how many understand, truly understand, what they are celebrating?

In an era where grievance has replaced gratitude, the Fourth of July has become a hollow ritual for some.

The danger is not just in forgetting our history, but also in rewriting it through the narrow lens of modern discontent.

Let us be clear: America was not perfect in 1776. It is not perfect now. But perfection is not the metric of freedom—liberty is.

And in declaring independence, those flawed men charted a course toward a society where individuals, not monarchs or mobs, hold the reins of destiny.

There is much hand-wringing today over America’s Founding Fathers—slaveholders, landowners, men of contradiction. But history does not offer saints; it offers context. And in the context of their age, the radical notion that government should derive its power from the consent of the governed was earth-shattering. That principle—not the imperfections of the men who penned it—is what we celebrate on the Fourth of July.

The alternatives offered by critics of America’s founding are, frankly, unconvincing. Replace merit with quotas, liberty with bureaucracy, individual responsibility with collective guilt, and you get a society that stagnates, not flourishes. What is too often lost in modern discourse is that the freedoms we take for granted—freedom of speech, freedom of worship, due process, equal protection—are still rare commodities in much of the world.

I’ve spent my life examining the consequences of ideas. And few ideas have been as consequential—or beneficial—as the belief that man is born free and that government exists to secure, not bestow, those freedoms.

America, despite its sins, has done more to lift the condition of man than any other nation in history.

It is fashionable in elite circles to mock patriotism, to decry the flag as a symbol of oppression rather than emancipation. But tell that to the millions who fled tyranny to reach our shores. Tell that to the Vietnamese boat people, the Cuban refugees, the Soviet dissidents. They risked everything—not to criticize America, but to join it.

We must not let spoiled intellectuals and political opportunists redefine America as irredeemable. That is not just dishonest; it is dangerous. If we teach our children to hate the foundations of their country, do not be surprised when they tear the whole edifice down, brick by brick.

The Fourth of July is not about a flawless past; it is about the promise of the future. It is a recommitment to the ideals of ordered liberty, limited government, and the dignity of the individual. We are not celebrating men; we are celebrating principles.

Liberty is not inherited automatically. It must be understood, defended, and passed down. And that begins by refusing to let this holiday become another victim of ideological vandalism.

So this Independence Day, I ask a simple question: Are we a people still worthy of freedom? If the answer is yes, then act like it. Know your history. Teach it. Defend it. And above all, live like liberty means something, because without vigilance, even the freest nation can forget why it exists.

On July 4th, 1776, the Continental Congress approved the final wording of the Declaration of Independence.  At that time, those living in the colonies were outraged concerning the control that England held over them.  The Declaration carefully laid out their grievances and reasons for seeking to break away from Great Britain.  There were 56 signers of the Declaration, all of whom pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor.  In other words, they had much to lose if the war was lost and many did suffer hardship because of their resolve.

Contrary to what some skeptics may try to allege, at its birth, America revered God so allegiance to Him was naturally assumed.  With all of the blessings we have, it should shame us that we have drifted so far off course.  Therefore it’s critical that we remember Psalm 33:12: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom He hath chosen for his own inheritance.”

Don’t miss this edition of Crosstalk that looks back at the forming of this powerful document.  The discussion begins with what led up to the Revolutionary War and the first shots fired at Lexington and Concord in 1775, the specific grievances against Great Britain and more, including some fascinating miracles that have been part of American history!

Looking Back/Looking Forward with God’s Gift of Mercy to America | IFA

Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43:18–19).

Fifty years ago a struggling Sly Stallone watched a boxing match; wrote a script (in 3 days!); then made a movie, Rocky, for $1 million that grossed $235 million worldwide, plus made five more with the character! I watched it again to be inspired in this historic moment where we can follow the fighter’s example who’d look back briefly then go forward purposefully.

Get involved in state-level prayer with IFA.

This is what God intends for us in this supernatural reset to see restoration of America aligning with the Founders’ vision and values of our Creator. “The Golden Age of America begins right now” is how our President put it in the opening sentence of his inaugural message to America.

Our children and our grandchildren will be rescued from the insidious progressive ideology that brought the decline of America. Imagine if we had just endured an inauguration of President Kamala Harris, a leftist San Francisco radical, who was worse than “no moral code” Biden – our 2nd worst president in U.S. history.

The scripture says: Don’t dwell on (linger) on the past – He’s doing a “new thing!” Learn lessons but “get back in the ring” to embrace the opportunities God’s giving. Satanic forces are not going to exit the arena because their goal is to diminish Christian influence and promote evil.

Miracle Mile

One of the most iconic races in world history was the 1954 competition between England’s Roger Bannister and Australia’s John Landy. Both had broken the 4-minute mile and were pitted against each other with 35,000 watching.  The first issue of “Sports Illustrated” launched with this famous race. With 90 yards to go, Landy was ready for victory, but looked back, lost momentum and Banister burst forward to win 3:58.8 to 3:59.6.

Today in what can be one of the most transformational presidencies since Lincoln and Reagan, it’s not time for regrets but rather giving God glory for what we’ve been rescued from; then pivoting to look forward, pray and engage in sharing truth amidst 2025’s palpable optimism.

“Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,  let’s press on for the goal of the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord. All of us who are mature should be like minded” (Philippians 3:14-15).

Looking Back on 15 Catastrophes

We are beginning a turnaround in our nation, so give thanks to God as we put behind us…

  • Scandalous cover up of Biden in office mentally impaired.
  • The Biden Administration leaving Trump with a “mess” as his policies bring ongoing damage for years. He departs with America culturally, morally, economically, globally and militarily weaker.
  • Allowing 15 million unvetted lawbreaking immigrants in with scores of terrorists, child smugglers, sex traffickers and criminals (not just “unfortunate children” as a LGBTQ liberal bishop said attempting to humiliate President Trump).
  • Commuting the death sentence of 37 death row murderers plus granting last minute “pre-emptive last-minute pardons” to family and friends.
  • Aggressively promoting abortion ’til birth with taxpayer money as “reproductive healthcare.”
  • Obscene spending exploded our national debt to record levels (e.g. spending $100 million tax dollars on DEI!).  “If we don’t get this debt under control, the economy is going to collapse!” – Janet Yellen, Treasury Secretary.
  • Shamelessly pushing radical trans insanity & LGBTQ agenda in schools/sports/corporations.
  • Corruption in our criminal justice system/abuse of authority to suppress free speech & candidates (especially Mr. Trump!).
  • Insulting Americans by awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to enemies of America like George Soros devoted to tearing down our values.
  • America got weaker/China more aggressive/Putin more destructive with feeble Biden “asleep at the helm.”
  • Using “Lawfare” to attack peaceful pro-lifers, parents in schools and soldiers in service.
  • Mislabeling Jan. 6 rioting as “insurrection,” yet Trump said, “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capital to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”
  • Thousands rioting in 574 George Floyd riots in 200 cities, taking lives and costing billions, was dismissed as “peaceful protests.”
  • Afghanistan exit was an unmitigated disaster (lives lost plus $80 billion of military equipment left to terrorists).
  • Biden departed leaving our nation demoralized, divided and deceived.

Offer praise to God that a horrible chapter can be put behind us. We’ve allowed ourselves one last look as we get into the ring and the race resolving not to squander our reprieve. Corruption, propaganda and lies remain as a stench in the nostrils of God and as one young Christian said, “I’m tired, of being lied to!”

Going Forward with Hope and Vision

Goodbye to a Government gone astray! Our appeal to heaven is for God’s grace and guidance as we declare “In God We Trust!” As God-fearing, patriotic, traditional Americans we pledge to pray for our leaders, be engaged courageously as we share the gospel and truth, believing for a third Great Awakening!

Undergirded by our prayers, the Trump team said, “We’re done with the show, we’re closing the curtain, buckle up!” Our newly inaugurated president signed over 100 executive orders, taking action with his experienced and competent Cabinet. One bold and decisive order declares the Federal Government will no longer recognize “trans” men or women.

There is a supernatural shift, changing the mood in America. It’s time for realignment. God has been merciful to us, and there is fresh vision, hope and determination, to purge the poison of militant wokeism, deceptive socialism and DEI: Discrimination, Exclusion and Indoctrination.

Let’s unify and see America great again for the glory of God!

Turnaround Time

We are part of an historical reset and transformational presidency, similar to when it was “morning in America” when Reagan was elected after the disastrous Carter years.

This is no time to retreat but resolve to speak out exposing policies and ideologies harming those ignorant of biblical positions on critical issues. Together we will remain tenacious proclaiming truth via all the vehicles God has given us. We are “Sons of Issachar who understand the times and know what to do” (I Chronicles 12:32).

We will “fight the good fight of faith” not combatively, but “contending for the faith” knowing we have to reach this next generation on their phones. That’s why 16 top Christian leaders did the 30 Bullseye videos FREE and “on demand” to equip us in confidently and courageously addressing today’s “hot button” issues.

Here’s the Deal: God gave us a reprieve. Let’s seize this gift for His glory and as Rocky said, “Go for it!”

Therefore, my beloved, be steadfast, immovable, always abound in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord, your labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

President Trump addresses the World Economic Forum | Denison Forum

Chess figures of America and EU nations on a white background. By TomasRagina/stock.adobe.com. World Economic Forum

On Thursday morning, President Donald Trump appeared via video conference in front of a packed crowd at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Trump’s statements leading up to his inauguration and in the days that followed were the talk of the conference, despite the fact that he was unable to attend in person. So when given the chance to hear from him directly, the audience of diplomats, human rights advocates, academics, and business leaders from around the globe were eager to see what he had to say.

Among the points most emphasized were:

  • The promise that companies who choose to make their products in America will pay among the lowest taxes of any nation on earth while those who don’t should expect to pay a premium in tariffs. He made it clear that America’s allies would not necessarily be exempt from any such premiums.
  • His belief that “After four long years, the United States is strong and sovereign and a beautiful nation once again. It’s a strongsovereign nation.” (His emphasis)
  • The need for the war in Ukraine to end and end quickly. Trump brought up Ukraine on several occasions and in a variety of contexts, but the thread that tied each mention together was his belief that the cost in human lives—which he claimed was much higher on both sides than has been reported—was too great to allow the conflict to continue any longer.
  • His belief that America was being taken advantage of by both its allies and other nations around the world; an imbalance that he promised to correct through tariffs and other means.

Much of Trump’s speech touched on familiar grounds to any who listened to his inaugural address or the interviews that followed (for more on the president’s executive orders and first days back in office, see this week’s episode of Culture Brief). Yet, the context at the World Economic Forum makes quite a difference in how those thoughts were received.

Is America treated unfairly?

Instead of speaking directly to the people he was elected to lead, as has been the case for most of this week, the majority of those in attendance at Davos stand outside of the president’s direct influence. As such, when he spoke as though America could do what it wants, with the implication that the rest of the world would have to either fall in line or deal with the consequences, it struck a nerve with some in attendance.

Agnes Callamard, secretary general for Amnesty International, spoke for many when she described Trump’s speech as conveying an “absolute determination to ‘make America great again’ at the expense of the rest of the world . . . It’s favoring American workers at the expense of workers everywhere . . . There’s nothing, nothing about the rest of the world.”

Of course, the implication behind Callamard’s critique is that Trump should be concerned about the rest of the world, and that belief highlights the disconnect between the president and many who view the world through a much different lens.

Trump is not president of every nation and he should be focused on America first. At the same time, every world leader should say the same about the countries they represent. Trump should not be surprised when his America First policies don’t find universal acceptance among the world leaders whose countries do not benefit from those policies.

That said, the stated goal of this year’s World Economic Forum is “Collaboration for the Intelligent Age,” so Trump’s message of America first was not quite in line with much of what the conference’s attendees had been hearing all week. However, collaboration is typically built upon the principle of a mutually beneficial relationship, and Trump clearly feels that America’s relationships with much of the world fail to meet that standard.

As the president reiterated Thursday, he believes that even the nation’s European allies “treat the United States very, very unfairly.”

The problem with that line of thinking is that “fair” can be a rather nebulous concept. And, while there are a number of lessons we can take from the president’s speech and the global response, that understanding of fairness is, perhaps, the most relevant to each of our lives today.

Witness or justice?

Dennis Wholey once quipped “Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are a good person is a little like expecting the bull not to attack because you are a vegetarian.”

Yet, despite the recognition that fair treatment is not always an option in this life, there’s something in us that gets angry when we’re denied the treatment we think we deserve. It’s tempting to even see that lack of fairness as a mark against the goodness of God.

From Job to David and a host of other biblical characters, anger toward the Lord is a common response when people are treated in ways that don’t seem just. And that’s alright. We should be angry when sin and the realities of living in this fallen world inflict injustices upon ourselves or others. Such instances remind us that this world is not what God intended it to be and that those who inhabit it are in desperate need of his salvation.

But this issue gets really tricky when we recognize that there will be times when God not only warns us that the world will treat us unfairly but also calls us to volunteer for that fate.

In the Sermon on the Mount, for example, Christ’s call to turn the other cheek and go the extra mile is intended to teach us that there will be times when prioritizing what we deem to be fair treatment will come at the expense of helping others to know Jesus (Matthew 5:38–42). In such moments, preserving our witness needs to be our highest priority, even if it comes at the cost of being treated unfairly.

And if we need help understanding what such a sacrifice looks like, we need only turn our eyes to the sinless Son of God who died on the cross to pay a debt that was not his own. Now he calls us to follow his example.

Will you be a “little Christ?”

Ultimately, none of what we’ve discussed today means that Trump is inherently wrong for pursuing a more aggressive approach to America’s trade agreements. The governance of a country will not always mirror the calling or responsibility of individual Christians.

However, the moment we begin to treat Trump—or any other person for that matter—as our example of what it means to live a moral and Christ-centered life, we’ve strayed from the standard to which God holds each of us. After all, the definition of a Christian is quite literally a “little Christ,” and we are meant to live out that identity every day.

So whose example will you follow today? And how will you react the next time this world or the fallen people in it decide to treat you in a manner you don’t deem fair?

Scripture is clear as to what our answers to those questions should be.

Will you listen?

Quote of the day:

“The Church exists for nothing else but to draw men into Christ, to make them little Christs. If they are not doing that, all the cathedrals, clergy, missions, sermons, even the Bible itself, are simply a waste of time. God became Man for no other purpose.” —C.S. Lewis
