President Joseph Biden announced President Carter’s funeral is scheduled for January 9th at the National Cathedral. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is recovering after successful surgery to have his prostate removed. Members of Congress are working to encourage Americans to make more donations. The proposed bipartisan ‘Charitable Act’ could mean a larger deduction for taxpayers who give to places of worship and non-profit groups.
