There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
The United Kingdom has become an authoritarian nightmare, and the United States must remain vigilant if it does not want to go down the same course.
Elizabeth Kinney, a 34-year-old care assistant, was naked in the bathtub when 11 police officers barged into her home to arrest her.
Her crime was sending insults to another woman via text.
The International Business Times reported Wednesday that Kinney — a mother of four — was detained under the Malicious Communications Act. She had sent texts to a woman involved with a man who had allegedly assaulted her. In those texts, she used the word “f****t” to describe him.
According to the U.K.’s Daily Mail, she has been convicted of a hate crime. Kinney is ordered to do 72 hours of unpaid work, complete 10 rehabilitation activity days, and pay a fine of £364. According to the International Business Times, she had initially faced 10 years in prison.
Per the Daily Mail, prosecuting attorney Jacqueline Whiting commented on the incident, “The defendant and the victim in this matter had been friends but had a falling out which resulted in an incident on the October 27, 2024 whereby abusive and homophobic text messages were sent to the victim causing her alarm and distress.”
“The Crown place this offence in the highest category of its type due to the effect related to sexual orientation and the greater harm because it had moderate impact.”
Kinney’s lawyer, Simon Simmonds, tried to help his client by telling the court she was distressed over being allegedly assaulted and was simply venting after an awful situation. “In terms of motivation and hostility, I do not suppose there was much thought process other than unloading a lot off her chest.”
“She was simply upset about what had happened to her. There is reference to another male they had both been connected to and this led to an incident not before the court that Miss Kinney was the victim of.”
Kinney insisted her words were a “thoughtless rant,” not an attack on anyone’s sexuality.
She appeared on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” where she explained the arrest to him.
WTF. 11 police officers in Britain broke into the home of a woman and arrested her while she was still naked.
Her crime?
She sent a text to someone calling a man who assaulted her a "faggot."
“You were naked?” Morgan asked as Kinney described police violating her privacy over a text message. “How did that make you feel?”
“Disgusted,” she told him. “Really upset. I was crying my eyes out.”
“I was in utter shock.”
“What did they say they were there for?” Morgan asked. After explaining how violating it felt to have several male officers see her without clothes on, Kinney told him the one female officer told her they were there “for malicious communications and hate crime.”
A longer video of the interview was also posted to YouTube. Kinney told the story leading to the texts, including her injuries from the assault and her arrest.
Here, Morgan asked her about free speech in that country, which by any account is dead. “What do you think it says about free speech in this country?”
Kinney told him the United States cares more than the U.K. Morgan replied, “This would never have happened in America.”
Kinney’s story is one of many. In November, Turning Point activist Young Bob was arrested for “Breach of the Peace” while having a debate with a Muslim man at Speaker’s Corner in London.
The U.K. is gone, but Morgan can’t be so sure about the U.S.
Democrats love to scream about “hate speech” and “misinformation” spreading online.
Our First Amendment protects us, but for how long?
Violent crime rose sharply in America’s cities during the Biden years, despite repeated claims of historic reductions. National Crime Victimization Survey data shows that while suburban and rural crime remained nearly unchanged, violent crime in urban areas surged by 61 percent between 2019 and 2024.
The rate is now 46 percent higher than the national average and more than double the rural rate, with property crime showing similar gaps. Because most violent crimes go unreported, these increases never appeared in FBI figures, allowing the Biden administration to push a misleading narrative. In many Democrat-run cities, persistently high crime has become normalized as enforcement remains weak.
Most Americans view crime as a major issue, and a majority approve of President Trump’s response, which includes deploying federal troops and strengthening local policing. Democrats are now shifting their messaging by acknowledging rising crime and promoting gun control as their solution ahead of the 2026 midterms. A private poll commissioned by Giffords and an allied Democratic nonprofit found that voters overwhelmingly prioritize safety but trust Republicans far more on crime and violent crime control.
The discrepancy between Biden administration claims and Americans’ lived experiences stems from a massive reporting gap that began in 2021. When the FBI mandated a transition to the National Incident-Based Reporting System, participation collapsed. Major cities including New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago failed to report complete data for 2021, and nearly 40 percent of all police agencies, covering 35 percent of the U.S. population, were missing from that year’s statistics. Even in 2022, only 8 percent of Florida agencies and 9 percent of Pennsylvania agencies submitted crime data, leaving critical information absent from federal reporting.
The National Crime Victimization Survey shows that less than half of all violent crimes, roughly 41 to 48 percent, are reported to police, meaning the FBI’s numbers miss most criminal activity. The 2024 survey found that violent crime in urban areas reached 40.5 victimizations per 1,000 residents, compared to 19.0 in suburban areas and 15.0 in rural areas, demonstrating the 61 percent surge since 2019.
In September 2024, the FBI quietly revised its 2022 crime data: an initially reported 2.1 percent decrease became a 4.5 percent increase, adding thousands of uncounted murders, rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults. The agency did not acknowledge these revisions in any press release. Milwaukee police reported a 7 percent rise in robberies while the FBI claimed a 13 percent drop, and in Nashville, local data recorded 6,900 aggravated assaults in 2023, but the FBI counted only 5,941, leaving nearly 1,000 violent crimes missing from federal statistics.
In 2022, only 21.4 percent of rape and sexual assault cases and 36.8 percent of simple assaults were reported to law enforcement. This underreporting helps explain why NCVS data shows far higher crime rates than the FBI, especially in urban areas where distrust of law enforcement has grown under liberal prosecutors and defund-the-police policies.
Chicago illustrates how manipulated data, low reporting rates, and plea bargaining mask the true scale of violence in heavily minority neighborhoods. FBI data still excludes 23 percent of the population, leaving tens of millions uncounted, including several million residents of major urban areas. This gap may conceal more than 50,000 violent crimes in communities similar to Chicago’s South and West Sides.
Plea bargaining hides even more crime. Up to 40 percent of felonies are pleaded down nationwide, meaning thousands of Chicago’s violent felonies never appear as such in federal statistics. Because 97 percent of Chicago’s murder victims are Black or Hispanic, the undercount falls hardest on minority residents.
When combined with plea deals and non-prosecution policies, Chicago’s actual violent crime rate in Black and Hispanic neighborhoods may be 30 to 45 percent higher than official numbers. National data shows a nominal decline in violent crime, but Chicago’s high homicide levels and low clearance rates show that minority communities face far greater danger than national averages imply.
Chicago’s experience reflects a broader national pattern in which underreporting, overwhelmed courts, and progressive policies produce misleadingly optimistic crime statistics. Without transparency and solutions aimed at poverty, distrust, and lack of opportunity, the cycle of violence documented in the city’s 2025 data will continue.
Liberal prosecutors in major cities have further weakened accountability. In Chicago, police recovered about 12,000 illegal guns in 2023, yet only 40 percent of felony gun possession arrests resulted in convictions, and plea bargaining reduced 25 to 40 percent of felonies to misdemeanors, meaning only 19 to 24 percent of gun recoveries led to felony convictions. The city’s homicide clearance rate is just 45 percent, and in predominantly Black neighborhoods the 2021 clearance rate by prosecution was only 21.7 percent.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg increased declined prosecutions by 35 percent in 2022 compared to 2019, while misdemeanor prosecutions resulting in jail time fell 78 percent. Chicago’s Kim Foxx dropped 25,000 cases, including felony murder and rape, and Los Angeles under George Gascon saw only 1.4 percent of violent sex crimes end in conviction from 2018 to 2024.
In Chicago, arrests were made in only about one in seven violent crimes in 2024, continuing a twenty-year decline. These liberal prosecutors, eliminated cash bail, refused to prosecute misdemeanors, and routinely downgraded felonies, creating conditions under which violent crime flourishes unchecked.
As always, the cities with the strictest gun laws had the most crime, even according to revised-down statistics. The cities experiencing the sharpest crime surges share a common trait: some of the nation’s strictest gun control regimes. Illinois, which includes Chicago, received an A-minus grade from the Giffords Law Center in 2021 and ranked eighth nationally for gun law strength.
New York City enforces the most restrictive gun laws in the country, with licensing rules and firearm limits stricter than those in Los Angeles, Chicago, or Philadelphia. California, home to Los Angeles, consistently ranks among the top states for gun control strictness. Cook County maintains bans on assault weapons and large-capacity magazines, and Chicago has kept strict regulations even after the Supreme Court struck down its handgun ban in 2010.
If we are going to see this much violence at a time when Americans are celebrating, what will our streets look like once conditions in this country become extremely harsh? Halloween is always a time when we see a spike in violent crime, but this year we experienced a Halloween weekend that was particularly crazy. There was rioting in Washington DC, there was rioting in Los Angeles, and there were mass shootings all over the nation. Was this weekend an indication of what the rest of the month of November will bring?
On Halloween night, members of the National Guard attempted to restore order after a “massive group of juveniles” started rioting in the Navy Yard neighborhood of Washington DC…
A video captured chaos in Washington, D.C., Halloween night, appearing to show National Guard members chasing after young people in the Navy Yard neighborhood — just hours before Mayor Muriel Bowser declared a “limited juvenile curfew” across the capital.
The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to a massive group of juveniles allegedly “engaging in fights and disrupting the flow of traffic.”
Police said five people were taken into custody, including four juveniles. They face charges, including possession of a prohibited weapon, public consumption of marijuana and resisting arrest.
The video footage of the confrontation between members of the National Guard and these young kids is stunning.
The deployment of the National Guard was supposed to prevent chaos from breaking out in the streets of DC, but that obviously has not worked. After “weeks of disorderly juvenile behavior” in our capital city, Mayor Muriel Bowser has decided to impose a “limited juvenile curfew”…
Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) announced that she was enacting a “limited juvenile curfew” for the city, that would be in effect until November 5, due to “weeks of disorderly juvenile behavior.”
In a post on X, Bowser explained that the juvenile curfew, which will apply to individuals 18-years-old or younger, will be in effect from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. until November 5. Bowser’s announcement came after hundreds of teenagers in the Navy Yard neighborhood of the District of Columbia were involved in an altercation on Friday and were seen blocking the streets.
“We are declaring a limited juvenile curfew in Washington, DC,” Bowser said. “Effective immediately, all juveniles under the age of 18 are subject to a curfew from 11PM until 6AM, which will extend through 11/5.”
Does she really think that a curfew for a few days will solve anything?
Personally, I think that she is being very unrealistic.
On the west coast, law enforcement officers were forced to use tear gas on Saturday night after Dodgers fans starting hitting them with bottles and fireworks…
Dodgers fans celebrating their win in Los Angeles last night were dispersed with tear gas after police officers were hit with fireworks and bottles.
The close game drew high-profile reactions from celebrities, such as Meghan Markle ‘shrieking’ in celebration, and a Blue Jays analyst swearing on camera and dismissing the Dodgers’ win.
But it was the rowdy celebrations from locals that forced the Los Angeles Police Department to authorize the use of less than lethal munitions at Olympic and Grand ave in the early hours of Sunday morning.
At one time, Los Angeles was such a beautiful city.
But now if you walk the streets of L.A. at night you are literally gambling with your life.
Sadly, we have also witnessed a large number of mass shootings this weekend.
At least nine adults and juveniles sustained injuries during a shooting at a “very large” Airbnb rental in Bath Township, Ohio, near Cleveland.
During the early hours of Nov. 2, the Bath Township community experienced a “tragic and senseless act of violence,” during which shots were fired at a party attended mostly by juveniles, according to the Bath Township Police Department. It has not yet been confirmed if all nine victims sustained gunshot wounds or were injured in other ways.
“We can confirm that a large party was taking place at this location, which we’ve learned was advertised on various social media platforms, drawing a significant crowd,” Bath Police Chief Vito Sinopoli said during a press conference shared by ABC affiliate News 5 Cleveland. “Our deepest sympathy goes out to the victims’ families and all those affected by this devastating incident.”
Chicago police early Sunday were trying to find the person behind a mass shooting in Lakeview, just a couple of blocks south of Wrigley Field.
At 1:45 a.m., four people were shot in the 3400 block of North Clark Street. Police believe an unidentified person exited a white pickup truck, took out a gun and opened fire, and fled north.
A 29-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were each shot was shot once in the arm. A 29-year-old woman was shot once in the leg.
One person was killed and four others were injured Saturday evening when gunfire broke out at a memorial gathering honoring a homicide victim in Gretna, Florida, according to the Gretna Police Department.
Gretna Police and the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office responded to the shooting, which police say occurred at the community gathering around 9:18 p.m. near 181 Beech Avenue. After receiving multiple reports of gunfire, officers found several people suffering from gunshot wounds.
On top of everything else, there was a large explosion at Harvard Medical School on Saturday morning…
An explosion rocked a Harvard Medical School building early Saturday morning, while Boston police have now released surveillance footage of the two suspects.
The unknown device exploded on the fourth floor of the Goldenson building on the Harvard Longwood Campus’s main quad shortly before 3 a.m., The Harvard Crimson reported citing authorities.
Two individuals were witnessed running out of the building at the time of the detonation, the outlet said, citing the Harvard University Police Department.
Most of the incidents that I just shared with you got very little media attention.
And that is because acts of violence and mass shootings have become so common in our society.
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a mass stabbing on a train in Cambridgeshire on Saturday evening.
The attack, which is not being treated as terror-related, saw a “significant” number of police officers called to Huntingdon railway station at about 19:42 GMT, where the train from Doncaster to London had made an unscheduled stop.
Eleven people needed hospital treatment and while four have been discharged, two remained in a life-threatening condition.
This is what we should expect when one of our most important holidays literally celebrates mass carnage.
According to one witness, there was blood all over the place as the two men went rampaging through the train…
Witnesses have described the harrowing scenes – with passenger Olly Foster, who was in coach H, saying how he was listening to an audiobook when a man ‘suddenly ran past screaming, ‘Run! Run! There’s a guy stabbing literally everyone and everything’.
Mr Foster said he and some other travellers thought it was a ‘joke’ or a ‘Halloween prank’ at first but ‘quickly realised they were serious’ by the look on their face.
He explained how his hand was ‘covered in blood’ after he put it on a chair as he ran through the carriage.
‘There was blood on the top of countless chairs, coming from two of the guys who had been severely stabbed ahead of me,’ he said.
After all of the violent train attacks that we have seen this year, I certainly can’t blame those that are saying that they want to avoid traveling on trains from now on.
One woman that was actually on the train claims that as one of the attackers came charging in her direction he said “the devil’s not going to win”…
She said: “I got knocked into some seats. I saw the knifeman running, he came at me with the knife. I said ‘please, please don’t’.
“Then something changed in his eyes and he said ‘the devil’s not going to win.’”
What did he mean by that?
Hopefully authorities will ask him that question.
Here in the United States, it appears that we just narrowly avoided an even more deadly attack.
Federal investigators prevented a real-life Halloween horror by busting at least five terror plotters inspired by ISIS in Michigan early Friday, sources familiar with the operation told The Post.
“This morning the FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested multiple subjects in Michigan who were allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend,” FBI Director Kash Patel posted on X.
“Thanks to the men and women of FBI and law enforcement everywhere standing guard 24/7 and crushing our mission to defend the homeland.”
If these five Islamic terrorists had gone to a public Halloween event, how many people could they have killed?
Authorities raided three homes in the Detroit suburbs of Dearborn and Inkster and recovered weapons including legally owned guns, the sources said.
Those arrested were described as home-grown radicals, but authorities were investigating possible foreign contacts of the suspects.
Needless to say, thanks to the exceedingly reckless policies of previous administrations, there are countless other “home-grown radicals” in the United States right now.
The threat of Islamic terror on U.S. soil has never been higher.
Meanwhile, stores around the country are bracing for a wave of crime if food stamp benefits are not restored soon. In fact, one Dollar General location in Ohio had actually “boarded up its windows”…
An Ohio Dollar General boarded up its windows over fears of potential Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) looting next month.
The store, located on South High Street in downtown Columbus, reportedly boarded up windows to prevent crimes before taking them down, according to local station FOX 8.
In Missouri, detention cells have been put up at a Walmart in Branson in an apparent attempt to deter shoplifters.
Hopefully the government shutdown will come to an end soon.
But even if that happens, anti-Trump groups are still planning to occupy Washington DC starting on November 5th.
That is in just three days.
Civil unrest is one of the major themes that I have been tracking, and I think that the upcoming protests in Washington DC have the potential to be really big.
The anti-Trump groups that are involved have been plotting this for a long time, and they have lots of funding behind them.
This promises to be a very “interesting” month, and I have a feeling that the chaos of the past few days is just a very small preview of what we will see over the course of the next several weeks.
By now, everyone has heard about the murder of the 23-year-old lady by a 14-time repeat offender. The lady was just riding a light train in Charlotte, NC, and the criminal attacked her from behind and stabbed her many times with a knife. Two things are interesting about the story. First, the judiciary workers who released the criminal. Second, the reaction from corporate news media.
So, first, the facts of the case from Meg Basham at Daily Wire:
The victim, Iryna Zarutska, came to the United States in 2022. She was returning from her job at a local pizzeria when Decarlos Brown stabbed her repeatedly in the neck.
And this is the key part – in a Democrat-run city, the criminal was released FOURTEEN TIMES.
Brown had a lengthy criminal history, including at least 14 prior arrests for offenses such as armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. Despite serving five years for the robbery, most of his other cases resulted in time served, probation, or community service.
His most recent arrest in January was for misusing 911, yet Judge Teresa Stokes granted him pretrial release despite his violent record. In 2024 alone, Brown had three encounters with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s (CMPD) community policing team, each time receiving referrals to resources and fines rather than jail time.
According to Grok, here are the qualifications for her position:
Under North Carolina law (N.C.G.S. § 7A-171), magistrates are appointed judicial officials, not judges, and do not require a law degree or bar admission.
Requirements include:
A four-year college degree, or a two-year associate degree with at least four years of experience in a related field (e.g., court administration, social services).
Completion of a 40-hour basic training course within six months of appointment, covering civil and criminal duties.
Annual continuing education through the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts (NCAOC) and UNC School of Government.
Grok also mentioned to me that she is married to a woman, Ayanna Ballard. Can you imagine choosing to live in a place like Charlotte, seeing the violent crime rates go higher and higher because of the failures of the district attorney and the others to deal with criminals and protect taxpayers? Why do people do it?
Anyway, the corporate news media was very upset… not with the murder, but with people noticing the murder.
Instead of focusing on the terrible and enraging crime that took place, it became one of their “conservatives pounce” spin jobs.
Axios put up a post on X, saying, “The gruesome video of the fatal knife attack on Iryna Zarutska on a light-rail car in Charlotte is drawing attention from MAGA influencers seeking to elevate the issue of violent urban crime—and accuse mainstream media of under-covering shocking cases.”
That wasn’t the only one, Politico was also concerned by the “political messaging war”, not by the actual murder of an innocent girl. Did you know that Democrats are the party of women’s rights? Yes, here is more of the Democrat party’s women’s-rightsing.
Here’s a gruesome story from September 9th, 2025, reported in the Daily Caller:
A Louisiana man reportedly may face chemical castration or the death penalty after he allegedly raped a four-year-girl on Aug. 1 and gave her Chlamydia.
Anthony James Jelks, 25, allegedly suggested that he raped the child on Aug. 1 at a Baton Rouge, Louisiana, residence, according to arrest documents obtained by WAFB.
[…]“Mr. Jelks, we have arrested six times over the past six years,” Baton Rouge Police Chief TJ Morse said. “He has everything from firearm charges to domestic violence battery, violation of protective orders, and is currently on probation.”
College coed Logan Federico, 22, of Waxhaw, NC, was visiting friends in Columbia, SC, on May 3 when a prowler broke into a rental house, swiped her credit cards and gunned her down, the Columbia Police Department said in a press conference.
[…]Alexander Dickey, 30, a career criminal with 40 prior charges, allegedly broke into the rental home where Federico was staying and opened fire with a stolen gun after stealing from the house.
And here’s another one from December 2023, also reported in New York Post:
A troubled vagrant randomly stabbed two teenage girls enjoying a Christmas morning meal with their parents at a Grand Central Terminal restaurant — after ranting that he wanted “all white people dead,” authorities said.
[…]Hutcherson has 17 prior arrests on his rap sheet, sources said.
It’s hard for me to write about this. I am so upset by the attacks that are going on in Europe against young women, and then even now, here in the United States. And why? Because people vote for the secular left politicians. Secular leftists are dominated by irrational emotions. They have a real problem with moral judgments and punishments. For them, the important thing is to show great compassion with their non-judgement. They want to make a world in which no one can judge them for their evil.
In Europe, women’s groups are so concerned with prioritizing feeling good and looking good with virtue signaling, that they won’t even condemn crimes committed by unskilled immigrants from misogynistic countries against women.
More than 100 women’s rights groups have warned “racist” attempts to link sexual violence with immigration are putting victims at increased risk.
Rape Crisis England and Wales, the End Violence Against Women Coalition and Refuge are among the organisations warning anti-migrant groups and politicans are “hijacking” survivors’ trauma. They have signed a letter to Keir Starmer and Home Secretary Yvette Cooper warning that sexual abuse must not be used for political gain – and those who spread misinformation must be held to account.
Who pays the price for the “don’t judge” atttitude of the secular leftists? The victims of the criminals that they don’t punish pay the price. The real misogyny comes from the secular left. That’s why you should never vote for a secular leftist. They don’t have the ability to ground moral judgments and that’s why they need to be kept out of political power by wise voters.
A society that coddles criminals, winks at crime, and ignores the victims, is a society that cannot long last. Labor in Australia and the Dems in America have a lot to answer for in this regard. In North Carolina Iryna would still be alive today if the politicians and courts and the magistrates and the judges and the police had been doing their jobs properly. But too many were NOT.
This was a fully preventable crime had the powers that be actually done their jobs. The weak-on-crime mindset of the left is the cause of so many of these horrific murders, rapes, assaults and kidnappings. These folks have so much blood on their hands. Simply consider the role of the Democratic Mayor of Charlotte Vi Lyles in all this.
After the savage attack she put out a statement expressing her concern about the lack of government services available to the murderer: “I want to be clear that I am not villainizing those who struggle with their mental health or those who are unhoused. The unhoused are more often victims of crimes and not the perpetrators. … We, as a community, must do better for those members of our community who need help and have no place to go.”
Good grief – not a word about this poor girl. It really is amazing how she turns a vicious murderer into the victim here. This is the Democrat mindset in action: Let’s make every excuse in the book for the perpetrators of crime, and remain tight-lipped about the victims.
Thankfully many have been speaking out about all this insanity. Gad Saad tweeted this: “A society that burns neighbourhoods and calls for the defunding of the police for the guy on the left [George Floyd] and largely ignores the public butchering of the woman on the right is one that is drowning in the infinity pool of Suicidal Empathy.”
And a few more tweets. Elon Musk was quite right to say this: “Let’s change the law. Between now and then, name and shame the DAs and judges who enable murder, rape and robbery. But especially shame those who funded the campaigns of the DAs and judges. That will make the biggest difference.”
Allie Beth Stuckey posted this: “America failed this girl. We protect criminals. We glorify degenerates. We have no will to restrain evil, no courage to punish wickedness. We sacrifice the weak on the altar of social justice and pat our backs in the process. The cowards on this train who did nothing to help her are representative of what our society has become. I’m so sad for her and sad for all of us.:
And Xaviaer DuRousseau tweeted: “So let me get this straight… A bartender can go to prison for serving drinks to a drunk person if they drive and murder someone … but judges aren’t accountable after letting a 14 TIME REPEAT OFFENDER murder a young woman?”
Said Charlie Kirk: “Right now, millions of people are finding out you can become a magistrate judge in many states WITHOUT being a licensed lawyer — Teresa Stokes [of Charlotte] never passed the bar exam — fully empowered to let repeat criminal offenders roam the streets to murder innocents.”
Another Kirk post: “Telling how so many pastors were mad that George Floyd overdosed but don’t care a white woman was brutally murdered by a 14 count repeat offender.”
Trump Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said this:
Many of the journalists in this room spilled PLENTY of ink trying to SMEAR Daniel Penny for defending a subway car from a deranged lunatic in New York City, but none of those same reporters lift a finger to write stories about an actual murderer. Here are the facts that many outlets have SHAMELESSLY and intentionally failed to report until President Trump drew attention to it. This beautiful innocent 23-year-old young woman was a Ukrainian refugee, who had recently fled her country for a chance at a safer life in a promising new beginning here in the United States of America. But tragically, a public transportation system in a major American city was more dangerous than the active war zone she left.
And President Trump put out this statement:
I have seen the horrific video of a beautiful, young Ukrainian refugee, who came to America to escape the vicious War in Ukraine, and was innocently riding the Metro in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she was brutally ambushed by a mentally deranged lunatic. The perpetrator was a well known career criminal, who had been previously arrested and released on CASHLESS BAIL in January, a total of 14 TIMES. What the hell was he doing riding the train, and walking the streets? Criminals like this need to be LOCKED UP. The blood of this innocent woman can literally be seen dripping from the killer’s knife, and now her blood is on the hands of the Democrats who refuse to put bad people in jail, including Former Disgraced Governor and “Wannabe Senator” Roy Cooper. North Carolina, and every State, needs LAW AND ORDER, and only Republicans will deliver it! Additionally, where is the outrage from the Mainstream Media on this horrible tragedy?
We must not forget
One Christian on the social media said we should not post pics of the attack on Iryna. I disagree. If I had a daughter horrifically murdered while simply coming home from work on a train, I would want the whole world to know about this evil – especially since Iryna had NO second chance, while this thug had 14 chances. We are sick to death of the leftist justice system that coddles criminals and ignores the victims. If highlighting such acts of evil results in less of these attacks taking place, then that would be one good outcome of sounding the alarm.
This believer had said we do not honour her by showing these pics. I disagree even more. We dishonour her by turning a blind eye to what happened to her. Pretending these terrible crimes are not happening will not make them go away. They will only get worse and we will have more of them.
We honour her by standing up for her, championing her, speaking up for her, and doing all we can to ensure that fewer such attacks take place in the future. We honour her by insisting that our leaders and lawmakers start seriously addressing the runaway crime problems in so many American cities.
We honour her when we demand that justice prevails. Scripture speaks so much about the importance of justice. Just a few of many relevant passages come to mind here:
Psalm 28:3-5 Do not drag me off with the wicked, with the workers of evil, who speak peace with their neighbors while evil is in their hearts. Give to them according to their work and according to the evil of their deeds; give to them according to the work of their hands; render them their due reward. Because they do not regard the works of the Lord or the work of his hands, he will tear them down and build them up no more.
Proverbs 18:5 It is not good to be partial to the wicked or to deprive the righteous of justice.”
Proverbs 19:28 A worthless witness mocks at justice, and the mouth of the wicked devours iniquity.
Ecclesiastes 8:11 Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil.
Amos 5:24 But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.
Iryna did not find such justice. Please keep the family of Iryna in your prayers. The US government had offered to fly her body back home to Ukraine but her parents said no. They said this: “She loved America. We’re going to bury her here.”
We need to see many fewer acts of senseless crime like this. A no-crime community might be impossible to achieve, but a low-crime one is possible. If we stop siding with criminals and making cheap excuses for crime, and start doing what we are meant to do as communities – protecting the innocent and keeping people safe – we can see a lot less such demonic attacks as poor Iryna had to go through.
There are other stories like that of Iryna Zarutska:
I happen to live in what can only be called the murder capital of Australia, if not much of the West. Melbourne has become a bloody crimescape wherein roving gangs of teen punks armed with machetes (often Sudanese) are terrorising the entire city.
Most recently we had two children slaughtered by these gangs – a 12 and a 15 year old. The fools who run this state are doing nothing about this crime spree that is overtaking us like a tsunami. Instead, they waste zillions of taxpayer dollars on useless and expensive “machete bins” found outside of police stations. As if any lowlife crim is going to waltz up to a well-lit cop shop with surveillance cameras and dispose of his weapons of choice.
Allan and Co are useless wonders who care nothing about the safety and protection of Victorians, but care everything about mutli culti madness and protecting migrant gang members. And the story is always the same: a gross crime is committed, an arrest is made, and they are easily bailed out in a matter of hours. Repeat and repeat and repeat. But our eggheads and ‘experts’ claim we cannot turn these teens into career criminals. Hey, wakey, wakey: the already ARE career criminals!
And one recent study found that Sweden has the highest per capita rape rate in Europe. It notes that a majority of 2000-2020 rape convictions were by people of immigrant origin (who are a quarter of the population). https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/08862605241311611
Iryna Zarutska
Things are just as bad in America – especially in its Democratic-controlled states and cities. President Trump is doing all that he can to make American cities safer, but the demonised Dems are fighting this tooth and nail. That tells you all you need to know about this psychopathic party. The most recent horror case comes out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Iryna was a young gal from Ukraine who fled her war-torn nation to find a better life in America. But the US has plenty of warzones as well with repeat offenders who commit crime after crime after crime running free and running wild. They delight in doing what they do best; mayhem and murder. So a crim with 14 prior police arrests decided he would stab to death this poor young woman while on a train heading home after work.
London-based columnist Lauren Smith wrote this about the offender:
Then there was the fact that Brown was known to the authorities—that dreaded phrase we see come up time and again in cases like these. Brown, who is currently homeless, has spent most of his life in and out of prison, having appeared in court no fewer than 14 times. He previously served a five-year sentence for armed robbery, and was arrested again for assaulting his sister, just months after being released in 2020. He also has a history of mental-health issues and was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Earlier this year, he was charged with abusing the 911 emergency number, when he called to complain that he had “man-made” material inside his body, which he believed was controlling his movements.
Why was this man, who had consistently proved to be a danger to himself and others, allowed to walk the streets freely? I am reminded of a similar case here in the UK, also involving a dangerous, severely mentally ill man who the authorities failed to properly treat and restrain. In 2023, Valdo Calocane randomly began attacking passersby in central Nottingham, killing three people—two 19-year-old students, Grace O’Malley-Kumar and Barnaby Webber, and 65-year-old school caretaker Ian Coates. Like Brown, Calocane was known to the authorities and was diagnosed with schizophrenia. He was supposed to be in the care of the NHS, but kept refusing treatment, because he was afraid of needles. Nobody involved seemed all that concerned with ensuring that Calocane actually received the antipsychotic medication he needed. The cost of this carelessness and apathy was three people’s lives.
In another, eerily similar case from Germany last month, 16-year-old Liana K.—also a refugee from Ukraine—was killed when she was randomly pushed in front of a moving train. The suspect is believed to be a failed Iraqi asylum seeker, who was supposed to have been deported years ago. Once again, the suspect was also suffering from paranoid schizophrenia. Like Zarutska, Liana and her family had fled to Germany, believing they would be safe there. Instead, the authorities’ failure to enforce the law resulted in a 16-year-old’s death.
This is apparently how we deal with criminals and the violently mentally ill in the West now—by ignoring them and hoping the problem will solve itself. In many ways, this is an over-correction for the asylums of the 20th century, where the disturbed and vulnerable were locked away and treated with little compassion or understanding. Today, the cultural memory of barbaric practices like force-feeding, electro-shock therapy, and lobotomies seems to prevent Western societies from taking any steps at all to detain and treat the mentally unwell.
But she is a white victim, and he is a Black attacker. So the mainstream media is not interested in covering this story – it does not suit their narrative. Smith closes her piece with these words:
The reason for this silence on the Left should be fairly obvious. As Mary Harrington points out in UnHerd, “there is simply no obvious way to make [Zarutska’s] murder intelligible within American race politics in a way that does not serve Right-wing narratives.” No wonder progressives would rather pretend this never happened—it goes against their fundamental belief that certain sections of the population are perpetual victims and therefore can never do any wrong. By the logic of identity politics, Brown should be near the very top of the victim hierarchy. He is black, homeless and mentally ill. There is no room in the identitarian worldview for him to be anything other than a victim—of white supremacy, of capitalism, of police brutality, of systemic racism in the justice system, or whatever else it might be. The idea that someone like him might savagely attack and kill another person without provocation is beyond comprehension. It doesn’t fit the narrative.
As much as the Left would like to believe otherwise, ignoring crime does not make it go away. Letting severely mentally ill people with multiple criminal convictions roam the streets is not the kind or caring option for anyone. It is especially reckless to make excuses or set low expectations for violent criminals because they come from ‘victim’ groups—whatever that means. Far too often, lives could have been saved if only the authorities had fulfilled their duty to uphold public safety. Real compassion starts with protecting the innocent.
Or as Ken Blackwell said in part about this horrific story:
Here is the most chilling part of all: the silence. Where are the headlines? Where is the outrage? The same media that saturated the airwaves with endless coverage of George Floyd and Daniel Penny has not written a word about Iryna Zarutska. Not the New York Times. Not CNN. Not the Washington Post. Not NPR. Not USA Today. Not ABC. Not MSNBC. Not PBS. They decided her life was not worth telling. Why? Because she does not fit their story. If Iryna had been Black and her killer White, the coverage would be endless. It would be on every television channel and splashed across every front page. Protestors would be marching in the streets. Politicians would be rushing to the microphones to offer speeches. Instead, because she was White, her story does not serve the approved narrative. And so the media chooses to erase her. That is not just bias. That is deliberate. It is coordinated. It is evil. Iryna came here believing America was different from the country she fled. She thought she had found safety. Instead she was butchered on a train by a repeat offender who should never have been free. And the institutions that claim to care about justice and equality have looked away. Her death is not just the result of one man’s knife. It is the result of a system that values ideology over safety. It is the result of prosecutors who keep letting violent criminals out. It is the result of a media machine that decides which lives count and which lives can be erased. Iryna Zarutska deserved better. She deserved safety. She deserved protection. She deserved to be remembered. Do not let them bury her memory. Say her name. Tell her story. Demand justice. Remember Iryna Zarutska.
And of course it needs to be said that many of these murderous thugs roaming our streets are NOT mentally ill. They are simply evil, and they need to be locked up for a very long time – or deported. But our lax criminal justice system in the West, full of leftist judges and magistrates who tend to care more for criminals’ rights than victims’ rights will ensure that getting tough on crime will continue to be resisted.
All the more reason for Trump to keep going after Democrat crime zones like Chicago, LA and elsewhere and keep standing up for ordinary law-abiding citizens. And all the more reason to consider cloning the President and send them to England, Europe and here down under.
And just like that, it’s over for the Dems in the 2026 midterms. Maybe even the 2028 general election. Maybe this is even the final nail in their creaky, splintering, mentally ill, Marxist coffin.
Right now, they’re trying to ignore it, the way they tried to pretend Hunter Biden’s laptop didn’t exist back in 2020. They were successful enough that time to push their vote machine over the finish line in Biden/Harris’s favor, but that won’t happen this time. This story, this image, is already out there.
Still, they’re trying to ignore it, hoping it goes away:

The only explanation I’ve seen anywhere is, “Oh, it was never covered nationally because it was only a local story.” Sure. Like George Floyd’s overdose in police custody was only a local story. Good luck with that dodge, lefties.
In all fairness to Democrats, their policies have made this situation so common that it may well have disappeared into the din. A violent lunatic with fourteen previous arrests under his belt but who still freely roamed the streets randomly and viciously stabbed a young woman on the train, killing her. The murder occurred over two weeks ago, and they had every reason to believe the “local crime story” was as dead as the beautiful young victim.
But then, the video emerged. It’s chilling and terrifying, the horror that every urban female (and plenty of males) fears. The still image of the moment the madman’s knife begins its descent is the most damning optic I’ve seen in years, and it will now become the face of the modern Democrat party.
It gets worse for Democrats: The victim was not only young, female, and stunning, but she was a refugee from Ukraine — one of their fetish victims.
She ran from war in Ukraine. She came here for safety.
And America FAILED her.
23-year-old Iryna Zarutska was butchered on a Charlotte light rail, her throat cut open by a violent repeat offender who had been arrested 14 times and was STILL free.
Haunting new video revealed the terrifying moment a homeless ex-con allegedly fatally stabbed a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee in what police said was a random attack on a Charlotte light rail train.
The surveillance footage, released Friday by the Charlotte Area Transit System or CATS, shows Zarutska boarding the train in her pizzeria uniform at 9:46 p.m. and sitting, looking at her phone, unaware of the danger behind her.
Just four minutes later, 34-year-old Decarlos Brown Jr. allegedly whips out a folding knife and lunges forward, stabbing her three times, at least once in the neck, police said.
Those eyes, that brave smile, her courageous backstory — fleeing war-torn Ukraine for a chance at safety and freedom in America, taking a humble job as a pizza clerk in Charlotte, N.C.
Laken Riley, the young nursing student murdered by one of then-President Joe Biden’s illegal aliens, became a poster child for stopping the invasion. The description of her murder was shocking to the public consciousness, but still, it was only words.
Robin Westman’s murder and maiming of young Catholic school kids at prayer was a shocking and tragic story. It was powerful enough to finally spark the public debate about what kind of medications are given to youth with gender dysphoria and whether they are sane enough to own guns. But still, that story was also only told in words.
Here, we have the video of the savage act committed by another Democrat sacred cow, a black, homeless man — you know, the kind of sweet, innocent victim those awful racist cops are always trying to murder.
Even as Democrats surge in the streets of Washington, D.C., protesting the president’s crackdown on crime, this chilling video and this electrifying still image have hit the internet. The left could not be caught further out on the wrong side of the issue. They are exposed as the heinous morons they are.
🚨 BREAKING: Leftists are STORMING the streets of Washington DC to protest against the drop in crime, currently marching to the White House to tell President Trump “free DC!”
A confession: I do occasionally worry about Trump’s over-the-top rhetoric and willingness to push the bounds of executive power even further than former President Barack Obama did. I know he’s doing the right things, but every time he calls out the guard or sics the FBI on someone or blows up a boat of our enemies, I can all too easily picture the next rabid Democrat president goring my ox in the same way.
But then I see something like this, and I thank God for the man in the White House who has climbed athwart history, yelling, “Stop!” (With apologies to the Buckleys.)
Because in the end, Democrats champion mental illness, crime, and the breakdown of civil order; they champion evil. Republicans fight it. Period.
Benny Johnson absolutely dismantled Geraldo Rivera during a fiery debate on Piers Morgan’s show, exposing the smug far-left pundit’s stupidity in real time for the world to see.
Geraldo, who has made a career out of defending the indefensible, tried to lecture America that illegal aliens are not criminals — even as he openly admitted that their “only crime” is coming here illegally. The circular logic was laughable, but Benny wasn’t about to let it slide.
Benny Johnson: What do you mean by they’re not criminal aliens? Are you saying that they came here legally or illegally? Which is the answer?
Geraldo Rivera: The only crime the vast majority of these people have committed is coming here illegally. That’s the only crime.
Benny Johnson: But that makes them criminal.
Geraldo Rivera: They’re not Tren de Aragua. They’re not MS-13. The vast majority of them commit fewer crimes than citizens do.
Benny Johnson : Respectfully, do you understand the definition of the word “illegal”? Because you just said they came here illegally. Do you understand what that means?
For seven agonizing seconds, Geraldo sat in stunned silence, staring blankly, completely unable to respond.
Benny Johnson: Do you understand the definition of the word “illegal”? Because you just said they came here illegally. Do you understand what that means? That means they broke our laws — the laws on the books.
Geraldo Rivera: So did the jaywalkers.
Benny Johnson: But I don’t understand. You just admitted their crimes — the vast majority of their crimes are here illegally. By saying that, you’re saying they’re criminals.
Geraldo Rivera: In my day, they weren’t. First of all, to categorize what they are doing as a crime insults real criminals.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Rivera then went off on a bizarre tangent about Puerto Ricans being “deported,” despite Puerto Ricans being U.S. citizens who carry American passports.
Geraldo Rivera: I am absolutely dismayed by the attempts to sow terror in the homes of Latino people. For instance, Puerto Rican people. Puerto Rican people look just like Dominican people, just like Cuban people, just like — more or less — Venezuelan people. And yet, Puerto Rican people are citizens. Puerto Rican people are being harassed by ICE. They’re citizens, but they are also Latinos. There is a racial component. There’s a racial component.
Benny Johnson: Puerto Rican people have American passports, Geraldo. What are you talking about?
Geraldo Rivera: And so now they carry their… So now, Puerto Rican people… Hold on. Now, Puerto Rican people have to carry their American passports to show you that they belong here. Do you carry your American passport, Benny? Do you?
Benny Johnson: I carry an ID everywhere I go, yes — and a firearm. But is your contention that America is deporting Puerto Ricans back to America? Is that the point you’re trying to make?
Can you give me an example of that, for instance? Because I can give you an example, Geraldo. I can give you an example of white, Chinese, black, and Hispanic people that are all here illegally.
WATCH:
Watch me leave Geraldo Rivera in total stunned silence.
Geraldo claimed illegal aliens are not criminals because the “only crime most of them commit is coming here illegally!”
I asked if Geraldo what the definition of “illegal” means.
Rivera bizarrely tried to paint ICE agents as villains, claiming they are targeting “farmers, babysitters, and dishwashers.” Johnson, however, brought the real-world consequences: the brutal murder of nursing student Laken Riley by a Venezuelan gang member released repeatedly by left-wing prosecutors.
Johnson then hit Rivera with another truth bomb. Johnson explained why ICE agents wear masks, to protect their families from terrorist Venezuelan gangs like Tren de Aragua. Geraldo completely lost it. He mocked the comparison to U.S. Special Forces fighting ISIS.
Geraldo: He’s exactly flipping the reality. They’re arresting farmers and babysitters and lawn mowers and dishwashers and poultry processors and meat packers. They are all Latinos. They are racially profiling Latinos, where Spanish-speaking people of brown skin are afraid to walk around for fear of a masked ICE agent stopping them and demanding their papers, please.
It is outrageous. Once they make it inside the United States — and they’ve been here for decades, God-fearing, law-abiding family people — for God’s sakes, give them some compassion. Give them some American spirit. I am appalled by the aggression they are showing and the indiscriminate nature. And that’s why these court cases are all going against Tom. God bless for his patriotism, Piers.
Piers Morgan: Wow. Okay. Benny Johnson, your response to that.
Benny Johnson : Wow. Okay. Let me just paraphrase you, Piers. First off, Geraldo, I appreciate you not maligning the man’s character and simply saying that he’s a patriot who wants to follow the law and wants to make his nation safe. I think we can all agree on that. That is clearly the single most important thing.
If you are a patriot in this nation, that your family can walk down the street safely, that you can send your daughter to nursing school, that she won’t be bludgeoned by a rock by a Venezuelan gang member who’s trying to kill her — and succeeds in murdering your daughter named Laken Reilly with a rock after he tries to assault her — after that same Venezuelan Tren de Aragua member was locked up and released again and again by district attorneys from Manhattan to Atlanta.
Now, what you would call that is terrorism. That is an organized gang member who is operating via a narco-state, Venezuela, in order to terrorize our nation and succeed in murdering a young American nursing student, Laken Reilly. He’s part of a greater overall terrorist network that President Trump just yeeted one of their boats in the Caribbean.
Benny Johnson: We all saw that clip. My question is: Why is it wrong for ICE agents who are deporting and arresting terrorists in our nation — organized terrorist gangs — to wear masks, yet special forces, when they’re fighting ISIS or Al Qaeda, wear masks? Why is it impermissible for ICE to wear masks? They wear them for the same reasons. They’re fighting dangerous, well-funded narco-state terrorists who would murder them and target their family and children if they could.
Geraldo: Bullsh*t. Just bullsh*t.
Benny Johnson: This is why Tom Homan said, “I don’t even live with my wife anymore. I don’t have the security to live with my wife anymore because of how dangerous this job is.”
Geraldo: You just compared — this job — United States soldiers fighting ISIS in places like Afghanistan with these officers on the street in Chicago. Benny, give me a f***ing break.
I have no patience for it. I believe that Tom Homan believes everything that he says. I don’t doubt his sincerity. But when I come to the media that pretends to objectivity, I have a much harder view on this — my 55th anniversary week. I started in broadcasting 55 years ago this week. I’ve seen the truth-tellers, and I’ve seen the bullshitters.
WATCH:
"Give me a f****** break!"
Geraldo Rivera clashes with Benny Johnson over whether ICE has "aggression and an indiscriminate nature" towards immigrants.
“Ambition must be made to counteract ambition. The interest of the man must be connected with the constitutional rights of the place. It may be a reflection on human nature that such devices should be necessary to control the abuses of government. What is government itself but the greatest of all reflections on human nature?” —James Madison (1788)
National Guard deploys in DC: Eight hundred National Guardsmen have been activated and made their appearance in the nation’s capital Tuesday, with 100-200 deployed to the streets to assist law enforcement. Unlike the FBI agents aiding local law enforcement in the crime crackdown, the National Guard does not have the authority to make arrests. Democrats are crying foul, declaring that crime is not an issue in America’s major cities since DC and others have seen crime statistics trend downward since reaching record highs in recent years. However, a DC police commander was put on administrative leave in May after the police union accused him of falsifying data to create the appearance of a lower crime rate.
Jailing O’Rourke: Beto O’Rourke may fancy himself a savvy politician, but his record has repeatedly demonstrated that he’s anything but. His recent injection of himself into Texas Democrats’ standoff against the Republicans over redistricting may end up putting him behind bars. After a court barred O’Rourke from fundraising to pay the $500/day fine for each Democrat lawmaker who fled the state, he continued to do so by encouraging rally-goers to donate to his organization in support of these fugitive Democrats. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton responded by filing a contempt of court charge. “Beto told me ‘to come and take,’ so I did and beat him in court,” Paxton explained. “Now, he still thinks he’s above the law, so I’m working to put him behind bars.” O’Rourke faces a fine of up to $500 and up to six months in jail.
West Point and Air Force Academy agree to merit-based admissions: The academies that train future Army and Air Force officers will now select based on merit instead of race. Incredible as it is that merit was a secondary characteristic in selecting military officers, this settlement with the Justice Department is a major win. When the Supreme Court struck down affirmative action policies in 2023, it excluded military academies on the basis that there might be a special need to ensure the officer ranks are racially diverse. The Trump Justice Department has embraced the idea of exclusively merit-based admissions and settled the issue with the Naval Academy earlier this year. A study by Zach Goldberg showed that at the Naval Academy, a black applicant would have a 50% chance of admission with scores that would only give a white applicant a 5% chance.
U.S. adds $1 trillion to national debt: The U.S. national debt recently hit a record $37 trillion, and $1 trillion was added in less than a year. The previous record of $36 trillion was set last November, and before that, $35 trillion was recorded in July 2024. Back in January 2020, prior to the COVID pandemic, the Congressional Budget Office estimated that the national debt would not surpass the $37 trillion threshold until 2030. “We are now adding a trillion more to the national debt every 5 months,” Peter G. Peterson Foundation CEO Michael Peterson observed. “That’s more than twice as fast as the average rate over the last 25 years.” He noted that this puts the country on an “unsustainable fiscal path,” soberly adding, “Our national debt is now greater than the economies of the entire Eurozone and China, combined.”
White House to review Smithsonian content: July 4, 2026, will be the 250th birthday of the United States. As plans to celebrate are ramping up, the Trump administration has ordered a review of the Smithsonian museums. A letter sent by a White House senior associate, the Domestic Policy Council head, and the OMB director explained that they want the institution to show “enduring values that define the American story.” This comes after some well-publicized foibles on the Smithsonian’s part, such as the infamous chart explaining that hard work and being polite are aspects of whiteness. Trump criticized the Smithsonian earlier this year for coming under the influence of “a divisive, race-centered ideology.”
Six Nova Scotians fined $150,000 for walking in the woods: On August 5, Nova Scotian Premier Tim Houston announced a ban on being in the woods due to dry conditions and wildfires raging across Canada. In the video announcement, he explained that short walks through the woods to reach the beach or a parking lot are acceptable, but other activities will be fined. Even residents in wooded areas were told to stay out of the forests. The draconian policies are being enforced, with six Nova Scotians now having been fined $25,000 each for “travel-related violations.” What’s Nova Scotia going to ban next — breathing?
15 GOP AGs join 2A groups suing to overturn NFA: While Republicans were unsuccessful in eliminating the 1934 National Firearms Act within the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, they were able to reduce the NFA tax to $0. Second Amendment rights groups led by Gun Owners of America have since raised a lawsuit seeking the elimination of the NFA on the grounds that, since the tax is now zero, the rest of the statute, including the stiff penalty for failure to comply, should be repealed. Fifteen Republican state attorneys general have also joined the lawsuit, including Texas’s Ken Paxton, who argued, “That repeal of the fee was what the Supreme Court in 1937 had used to allow the federal government to say it was a tax, and therefore they could regulate guns and override the Second Amendment.” He added, “With no fee, now there’s no tax, and that means we have an opening, and so we have sued along with Gun Owners of America to try to get that taken out so there’s no longer regulation registration for those different weapons, and we’re going to win that.”
Denver Post outs private hawkshaws: Apparently, the Denver Post doesn’t like private citizens seeking to hold public officials to account. Recently, the Post exposed the names, locations, voter registrations, and employment of three private citizens who dared to post public records information regarding criminal activity in the city on the social media site Do Better Denver. The Post defended its doxing of these three women, with columnist Krista Kafer arguing, “People who claim to be citizen journalists must stand by their work with a byline and endure the negative comments and threats that come with the job.” One of the findings these women noted was that $2.1 million was used by the city to pay for vacant rooms for illegal aliens. Do Better Denver, which has been gaining in popularity in the region over the last couple of years and whose administrator has intentionally maintained a level of anonymity due to death threats, alleges that the doxing was at the behest of the mayor’s office, a claim that the Post denies.

A Democrat intelligence officer who worked for Democrat lawmakers on the House Intelligence Committee for over a decade told the FBI in 2017 that Adam Schiff, then a Democrat representative and now a senator from California, directed the leaking of classified information to smear Donald Trump. The subject? You guessed it — the Russia collusion hoax.
Given Schiff’s long history of lies and Ahab-like obsession with harpooning Trump, it’s no surprise that he took an ends-justify-the-means approach.
In August 2018, Schiff claimed without evidence that “I think there’s plenty of evidence of collusion or conspiracy in plain sight.” In April 2019, he similarly insisted, “I’ve been very clear over the past year, year and a half, that there is ample evidence of collusion in plain sight.”
Narrator: There wasn’t ample evidence of any such thing.
Mark Alexander highlighted Schiff’s lies in but a few examples here, here, and here.
According to the FBI’s interview report, “When working in this capacity, [redacted staffer’s name] was called to an all-staff meeting by SCHIFF. In this meeting, SCHIFF stated the group would leak classified information which was derogatory to President of the United States DONALD J. TRUMP. SCHIFF stated the information would be used to indict President TRUMP.” It happened more than once.
The leaking staffer reportedly expressed concern at the time that revealing classified info was “unethical,” “illegal,” and “treasonous.” You don’t say.
Allegedly, Schiff informed his staffer (and friend) that the Constitution’s speech and debate clause would protect him from prosecution, so not to worry. He didn’t have to. Until now.
FBI Director Kash Patel linked to the report on social media and stated, “We found it. We declassified it. Now Congress can see how classified info was leaked to shape political narratives — and decide if our institutions were weaponized against the American people.”
Republican Congressman Dan Crenshaw condemned Schiff for his partisan criminal hackery. “This isn’t just politics, it’s a crime — and Adam Schiff knew he was violating 18USC798 when he did it. He should be charged by the DOJ for his crimes,” Crenshaw declared. “If he had any integrity he’d resign. But we know he won’t, so the Senate should take action.”
I seriously doubt the Senate will even bat an eye at Schiff. His deplorable behavior was par for the course for Democrats hell-bent on nailing Trump on … something. And the Senate GOP isn’t exactly the most stalwart bunch.
Don’t forget that Schiff has one of those handy Joe Autopen Biden 11th-hour pardons as a get out of jail free card, albeit related to the January 6 investigation rather than the Russia collusion hoax. At the time, he claimed he didn’t want it. “I don’t think a preemptive pardon makes sense,” he said. Doing so was “unwise and unnecessary,” he added, though “I understand why the president, President Biden, did it.” Or at least his autopen did it.
I’ll bet Schiff is thankful for whatever cover he can get.

“Nobody wants to say it, but America’s poor would be much better off if we built new prisons rather than new universities. Crime and violence — not ‘systemic racism’ or ‘redlining’ — are the great destroyers of opportunity for the poor.” —Christopher Rufo
“Barack Obama’s entire political career — and the fortune he now has — come down to gerrymandering. While he lectures others about ‘power grabs’ and ‘threats to democracy,’ his rise was engineered through rigged maps and backroom deals designed to protect and further his own interests and sideline genuine voter influence.” —Matt Margolis
Belly Laugh of the Day
“DC Democrats are protesting Trump’s crime crackdown by banging pots and pans at night. Unfortunately, nobody can hear them over the gunshots.” —Jimmy Failla
And Last…
“The water in Washington, D.C., is not going to clear up until you get the pigs out of the creek.” —Sen. John Kennedy
ON THIS DAY day in 1860, Annie Oakley was born, destined to become one of the great American sharpshooters. Later dubbed “Little Sure Shot,” she starred in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show along with her husband and fellow marksman Frank Butler.
Please join us in prayer for our nation — that righteous leaders would rise and prevail and we would be united as Americans. Pray for the protection of our uniformed Military Patriots, Veterans, First Responders, and their families. The regime media tried and failed to gaslight Americans on crime in the nation’s capital, and US Attorney for DC Jeanine Pirro wasn’t having it for a single second.
Speaking after President Donald Trump’s bold federal takeover of the Metropolitan Police Department, an unprecedented move to clean up the lawless swamp, a smug reporter suggested crime in DC was “down.”
Pirro unleashed.
“It’s NEVER ENOUGH. You tell these families that crime has dropped. You tell the mother of the intern who was shot going out for McDonald’s near the Washington Convention Center, ‘oh, crime is down.’ You tell the kid who was just beat to hell and back with a severe concussion and a broken nose, ‘crime is down.’ No, that falls on deaf ears. My ears are deaf to that and that’s why I fight the fight. Thank you.”

🔥HOLY MIC DROP! A reporter tried to say that crime in DC is down and @JudgeJeanine wasn't having it for a SINGLE SECOND!

Pirro’s comments come as the DC police department’s credibility is in tatters following revelations that crime statistics were being manipulated to hide the city’s violent crime wave.
Back in July, NBC Washington reported that DC Police Commander Michael Pulliam, then head of the 3rd District, was suspended and placed on paid administrative leave after accusations surfaced that he altered crime data to make it look like violent crime had plummeted.
Five law enforcement sources confirmed Pulliam was being investigated for “questionable changes” to crime data, changes the police union says were part of a deliberate effort to make the numbers look better for political optics.
Congrats to Ken for accusing someone else of lying while lying.
Crime is not at "historic lows." The data was falsified by reclassifying violent crimes that don't show up in the crime reports.
The Obama administration dismantled several key intelligence programs that once played a vital role in the fight against drug trafficking, gang violence, and organized crime. These programs integrated law enforcement data with public health metrics to create early warning systems for emerging threats.
Yet they were terminated, driven largely by political considerations and concerns that the data disproportionately reflected criminal activity in specific demographic groups.
Under Democrat administrations, uncomfortable truths, such as the disproportionate amount of crime, drug trafficking, gang activity, and smuggling committed by illegal aliens, Latinos, and other minority groups, are suppressed and dismissed as disinformation.
The National Drug Intelligence Center (NDIC), established by Congress in 1993 and placed under the Attorney General’s authority, served as the nation’s primary hub for strategic domestic counterdrug intelligence until President Obama shut it down in 2012. Based in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the NDIC employed over 300 federal and contract personnel at its peak.
What made the center unique was its integration of law enforcement intelligence with data from drug treatment facilities, enabling a more comprehensive view of the national drug landscape.
NDIC fulfilled several critical functions. Its predictive analysis capabilities allowed it to forecast emerging drug trends, giving federal agencies time to prepare and respond proactively rather than reactively. Its Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX) teams analyzed seized assets, financial records, communications, and other materials to produce detailed profiles of drug trafficking networks, helping law enforcement “make sense of everything they seized.”
NDIC also produced in-depth regional threat assessments, such as the 2008 Indian Country Drug Threat Assessment, which examined trafficking across Native American reservations. Additionally, the center played a vital role in inter-agency coordination, synthesizing intelligence from the DEA, FBI, ATF, U.S. Marshals, and state and local law enforcement into unified reports.
Despite its effectiveness, NDIC faced political pressure throughout its existence and was ultimately shut down in 2012 under President Obama.
The Arrestee Drug Abuse Monitoring (ADAM) program operated from 1997 to 2003, collecting vital data on drug use among individuals arrested for various offenses. Revived briefly as ADAM II from 2007 to 2014, the program combined interviews and urinalysis to track drug use patterns within the criminal population, offering a rare and valuable window into the link between substance abuse and criminal behavior.
Unlike general population surveys, ADAM focused exclusively on arrestees, delivering real-time intelligence on drug use among those actively engaged in criminal activity. It highlighted regional variations by operating across dozens of metropolitan areas, allowing law enforcement to identify geographic patterns and emerging threats. Interviews provided long-term behavioral context, while urinalysis delivered objective, verifiable data on recent drug use, eliminating the inaccuracies of self-reporting.
ADAM’s insights supported courts, correctional facilities, and treatment providers in shaping intervention strategies and drug policy. However, the program was shut down in 2004 due to funding cuts. Although ADAM II was launched in 2007, it covered only 10 counties compared to the original program’s 35+ sites and was ultimately discontinued in 2014, under President Obama, permanently ending a unique and irreplaceable source of intelligence on drug use in the criminal population.
The FBI’s National Gang Threat Assessment, produced by the National Gang Intelligence Center (NGIC), provided detailed analysis of gang activity, membership trends, and emerging threats across the United States. These reports consolidated intelligence from federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies, making them a crucial tool for understanding the evolving gang landscape.
The 2011 assessment estimated that 1.4 million active gang members were operating within more than 33,000 gangs nationwide, data that played a key role in guiding law enforcement resource allocation. The reports also identified emerging threats, such as the rapid spread of Sureno gangs and the development of “hybrid gangs” with mixed affiliations.
Regional analyses allowed local agencies to contextualize their own gang problems within broader national trends, while additional reporting tracked how gangs adapted to new technologies, including the use of social media for recruitment and coordination.
Despite their strategic importance, these intelligence products were largely discontinued under President Obama. The FBI ceased publishing national gang membership estimates after 2009. The Department of Justice’s National Gang Center stopped reporting gang quantities and membership data in 2012.
That same year, the National Youth Gang Survey ended. The final Attorney General’s report to Congress on violent street gangs in suburban areas was issued in 2008. The termination of these programs left a significant gap in America’s ability to monitor and respond to gang-related threats on a national scale.
The termination of these intelligence programs resulted in the loss of critical institutional knowledge and long-term data continuity. Over 19 years, the NDIC had developed deep expertise in analyzing drug trafficking patterns and criminal networks, expertise that was scattered when the center closed. Former officials emphasized that NDIC’s core value was its objective analysis, which often exposed uncomfortable truths about failed drug policies.
As one former director noted, the center served as “a regular reminder that their policies were failing,” making it a political target. Without the NDIC and comprehensive gang intelligence reporting, law enforcement has been left struggling to keep up with increasingly sophisticated drug traffickers and tech-enabled gangs.
Similarly, the ADAM program’s longitudinal data allowed researchers and law enforcement to track drug use trends over time within criminal populations. Its termination disrupted that continuity, making it harder to detect emerging patterns.
The FBI’s gang assessments had offered a comprehensive national picture, enabling local agencies to understand how their challenges fit into wider trends. With these tools gone, law enforcement agencies have been left operating in the dark, lacking the strategic insight once provided by these coordinated efforts.
Recent legislative efforts have acknowledged the damage. In both 2021 and 2023, Senators Chuck Grassley and Jacky Rosen introduced the Gang Activity Reporting Act, which would require the Justice Department, Department of Homeland Security, and FBI to resume regular reporting on gang membership and criminal trends. “To best combat violent crime, Congress must have a clear picture of membership trends and activity of criminal gangs, who are responsible for nearly half of all violent crime.
Hopefully, with the Trump administration’s renewed crackdown on illegal immigration and its efforts to secure the southern border, these reporting and intelligence programs, or new ones like them, can be restored.
I’m hoping that more and more Christians are seeing how big government can thwart our ability to carry out Christian life plans. Bad government does this in several ways. They mismanage foreign policy, which causes expensive wars and commerce disruptions. They mismanage fiscal policy, which makes us all poor. And they mismanage social policy, which disrupts marriage and family.
The UK has been under the control of the secular left for some time. They have an open borders policy, massive government spending on wasteful government monopolies and welfare programs, and massive attacks on the human rights of taxpayers. And the more they squeeze taxpayers, the less the taxpayers can afford to run their own life plans, including the choices to marry and have kids.
Here’s an example of how the government discourages marriage and family, by attacking parents who try to raise their children right.
History teacher Vanessa Brown, 50, spent seven-and-a-half hours in a custody cell on March 26 this year, following a claim she had stolen two iPads which were traced to her mother’s house in Cobham, Surrey.
Yet it transpired that the two devices belonged to her daughters, and Ms Brown had merely confiscated them to encourage them to focus on their schoolwork, a fact Surrey Police has now acknowledged.
“I find it quite traumatic even talking about this now,” Ms Brown recalled.
“At no point did they [the officers] think to themselves, ‘Oh, this is a little bit of an overreaction for a moment, confiscating temporarily her iPads and popping over to her mum’s to have a coffee’. It was just a complete overreaction.
The UK nanny state doesn’t like when parents make children “sad” by enforcing discipline.
In the United States, parents would be able to use the courts to deflect government overreach into how they parent their kids. Or they could move to a red state like Tennessee, Oklahoma or Florida. But in the UK, all the courts are opposed to parental rights, as well as free speech and freedom of religion. So, government just goes wild in trampling the rights of the taxpayers who pay their salaries:
Ms Brown was taken to Staines station, where she was searched, and had fingerprints and custody shots taken before being placed in a police cell for several hours.
Surrey Police also sent officers to her children’s school, pulling her daughter out of class in the process.
Her ordeal was compounded, however, when she learned of the conditions of her bail, which would have prevented her from seeing her children on Mother’s Day.
It wasn’t until half-past midnight that Ms Brown was returned to her mother’s house – nearly twelve hours after officers first arrived.
She told LBC she suffered a sleepless night and was left in a “catatonic state” by the experience.
In the UK, they have opened up their borders to Middle Eastern men, and many of those Middle Eastern men get involved in sex-trafficking white girls. When British citizens – i.e. – the parents – complain to the police about this, the British police ignore them. That’s because the British police are more aggressive against the taxpayers than the criminals:
It comes amid increasing concern about how officers are using their time after a couple from Borehamwood were arrested by Hertfordshire Police following their criticism of a local school on a parents’ Whatsapp chat.
It’s a concern that Ms Brown echoed following her arrest.
“They were able to send a police car with police officers to my children’s school, they were able to send another police car or two to arrest me… I know people are making reports of thefts, of assaults and very violent crimes in and around our neighbourhood – and they’re not getting a response for days.
And if the parents take to social media to complain about the immigration policies, then the police will go straight to their homes to arrest them.
The police are making more than 30 arrests a day over offensive posts on social media and other platforms.
Thousands of people are being detained and questioned for sending messages that cause “annoyance”, “inconvenience” or “anxiety” to others via the internet, telephone or mail.
Custody data obtained by The Times shows that officers are making about 12,000 arrests a year under section 127 of the Communications Act 2003 and section 1 of the Malicious Communications Act 1988.
[…]Officers from 37 police forces made 12,183 arrests in 2023, the equivalent of about 33 per day. This marks an almost 58 per cent rise in arrests since before the pandemic. In 2019, forces logged 7,734 detentions.
The statistics have provoked criticism from civil liberties groups that the authorities are over-policing the internet and threatening free speech using “vague” communications laws.
You might remember that the London Chief of Police had actually threatened to extradite Americans to prosecute them if they commented on the state of affairs (rioting, arson, knife crime, sex-trafficking children, etc.) in the UK. That’s how crazy secular left totalitarianism is in the UK. They don’t even realize that there is anything wrong with running a police state against taxpayers, using the money they take from the taxpayers. Don’t let it happen here! Vote smart. Vote against the secular left. Vote against Stalinism.
President Trump is not fooling around with the Mexican cartels.

Organized crime groups have surged in recent decades, aided by the rise of synthetic drugs, encrypted technologies, and multinational operations.
For instance, a leading Brazilian mob has 60,000 affiliates spread across 26 countries in addition to its 40,000 members. Moreover, criminal actors are increasingly diversifying their operations, engaging in activities such as human smuggling, drug trafficking, and the exploitation of food supply chains.
The Global Organized Crime Index analyzes 193 countries based on their scale of criminal activity. It includes three main components:
Criminal actor influence and structure: e.g. mafia-style groups, criminal networks, state-embedded actors
Criminal market scale and impact: e.g. arms trafficking, heroin trade, human trafficking
Each country’s resilience to organized crime: e.g. judicial system, government transparency
Overall, countries were scored on a scale of 0 to 10 by the extent to which organized crime groups exert control over their direct economic activities.
Where Organized Crime Groups Are the Most Powerful
Below, we show the top 30 hubs for organized crime groups worldwide:
Central and South America have the highest concentration of organized crime globally, with the most widespread criminal activity in Venezuela and Colombia.
In particular, criminal actors are known for serious extortion practices, human smuggling, and illegal arms trafficking. The economic crisis in Venezuela, which has forced millions to flee, has contributed to the rise in human smuggling and trafficking, with victims being targeted even beyond the Colombian-Venezuelan border.
In Mexico, criminal actors are increasingly targeting the food industry, including avocados, tortillas, potatoes, and limes, among others.
Myanmar also stands as a key hub for human trafficking, with an estimated 120,000 victims being used for forced labor in scam centers. These scam centers, which generate billions of dollars, operate largely along border of China and Myanmar, where victims are lured by significant perks.
Meanwhile, the illicit arms trade in pervasive across Somalia. The jihadist group, al-Shabab, has infiltrated political and economic structures, serving as a key player in illegal arms trafficking. Each year, the group is estimated to make $100 million from its extortion activities alone.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a formal statement, the FBI has called on Internet sleuths, particularly X users, to please stop solving crimes before they have a chance to do so.
The statement comes just hours after X users discovered all suspects and motives related to the recent terror attacks in New Orleans and Las Vegas.
The statement reads in part:
“It is in the public interest that all X users stop solving crimes immediately. Solving crime is the responsibility of the federal government and local law enforcement. If we do not solve crimes first, we cannot control the narrative, and that’s important for national security reasons we cannot discuss at this time.”
“You’re going to put us all out of a job,” said FBI Director Christopher Wray, commenting on the public statement. “We’re supposed to be the ones solving crimes. Please stop demonstrating how useless we are.”
As an incentive, the FBI is promising not to raid anyone who complies. “All you have to do is not report on suspects, observe obvious connections to other crimes, or complain when we prosecute parents of school-aged children,” a spokesman for the bureau explained. “You scratch our back, we leave your back alone. Get it?”
At publishing time, the FBI had prosecuted an X user for interfering with a cover-up.

In a groundbreaking legal battle, over 100 January 6 political prisoners have come together to file what is being hailed as the largest lawsuit ever against the Department of Justice.
Officially named the January 6 Restitution and Wrongful Incarceration Lawsuit, this $50 billion class action is spearheaded by Jake Lang, a January 6 prisoner who has been incarcerated for nearly four years. Lang, through his new organization, Federal Watchdog, the Anti-Lawfare Group, is joined by an esteemed team of conservative attorneys, including Steven Metcalf, Anthony Sabatini, Stephanie Lambert, and Jonathan Gross. Together, they aim to expose the injustices faced by January 6 prisoners and secure much-needed restitution.
The lawsuit, set to be filed on January 20, 2025, has already garnered widespread support, with over 100 prisoners signing on. This historic legal action seeks to compensate these individuals for the extensive harm inflicted by what they describe as a weaponized justice system. From the loss of generational family businesses, homes, and careers to the irreparable emotional and psychological damage suffered during years of wrongful incarceration, the plaintiffs are demanding accountability for the Federal Government’s actions.
Jake Lang, a prominent figure in the January 6 movement, emphasized the importance of this lawsuit, stating, “This isn’t just about restitution; it’s about setting a precedent. Weaponized government and lawfare against conservatives can never become the standard in America.”
A Two-Tiered Justice System
According to Federal Watchdog, the plaintiffs were “hunted down like animals” by the FBI for peacefully protesting at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. Many have faced harsh sentences, inadequate legal representation, and conditions that have worsened their physical and mental health. Critics argue this is a glaring example of a two-tiered justice system, one that has been particularly hostile to supporters of former President Donald Trump.
The lawsuit will highlight individual stories of suffering and resilience, aiming to illustrate the broad impact of the government’s actions. “The damage to children who have spent four years without their fathers at home cannot be put into monetary value,” Lang noted. “But we must being the healing process by holding those responsible for our unconstitutional cruel & unusual torture accountable!”
The road to recovery for these patriots will be long and difficult. Some prisoners have experienced severe mistreatment in custody, leading to health conditions that may never fully heal. Others face the daunting task of rebuilding lives, families, and communities shattered by years of persecution. Federal Watchdog aims to provide these individuals with the resources and support needed to begin this process.
“We’re standing up to secure restitution for the thousands of broken lives left in the wake of the January 6 persecution,” said Lang. “This is about giving these families a chance to rebuild.”
A Call to Action
Federal Watchdog is urging all January 6 prisoners and their families to join this historic lawsuit. Participation comes at absolutely no cost, and those interested can sign up at J6Restitution.com. “This is your chance to fight back and demand justice,” Lang emphasized. “We need every voice in this battle.”
A Historic Moment
The timing of the lawsuit is symbolic, as it will be filed just before January 20, 2025, a date many believe will mark the beginning of a new chapter for these patriots. Supporters are optimistic that former President Donald Trump will pardon the remaining 250 prisoners still behind bars on his anticipated inauguration day, bringing an end to years of suffering and uncertainty.
Federal Watchdog’s Track Record
Federal Watchdog is no stranger to taking on high-profile cases. Recently, the organization filed a $150 million wrongful injury lawsuit on behalf of over 80 plaintiffs who suffered injuries during clashes with Capitol police on January 6. With this latest effort, the group aims to send a clear message that justice will not be denied.
Setting a Precedent
This lawsuit is about more than restitution; it’s about ensuring that government overreach and politically motivated lawfare never happen again. Lang and his team hope to set a precedent that will protect future generations from similar injustices.
Join the Fight
If you or a loved one were affected by the events of January 6, now is the time to stand up for your rights. Visit J6Restitution.com to join this historic lawsuit and be part of the fight for justice.

We live in a high crime society. Nobody can dispute that fact, and it has been this way for a long time. But the crime wave that we have witnessed in recent years has been truly breathtaking. Tens of thousands of gangs are running wild in our major urban areas, and the growth of those gangs has been supercharged during the past four years thanks to the reckless border policies of the Biden administration. Now we have rampant lawlessness in our streets, and it certainly isn’t going to be easy to clean up this mess. The following are 15 facts about the growth of crime in the United States that will blow your mind…
#1 The number of shoplifting incidents per year in the United States is up 93 percent compared to pre-pandemic levels…
The average number of shoplifting incidents jumped 93% in 2023 compared with pre-pandemic times and monetary losses for retailers have risen 90%, according to the nation’s largest retail trade group.
With its “Impact of Retail Theft & Violence 2024” study, the National Retail Federation (NRF) is highlighting the severity of this issue. For instance, despite the continuous efforts by retailers to combat such crimes and a growing number of states that have updated their laws to prosecute organized retail crime as felonies, the number of retail theft incidents continues to climb.
Bakersfield is a city with less than half a million people, making it the 9th most populous city in California. It also has the distinction of having the most car thefts of any U.S. city.
#3 Denver, Colorado is closing in on Bakersfield very quickly. In fact, the car theft rate in Denver increased by 37 percent in just one year…
Denver is the capital and most populous city in Colorado which incidently made the NICB’s hot spot list for the top state by number of auto thefts. Not only did Denver experience 964 thefts per 100,000 residents, but the theft rate increased by 37%. As with most places, Kia and Hyundai vehicles make up a large percentage of those cars stolen.
#4 When it comes to car theft, Pueblo, Colorado only ranks third, but a 47 percent increase in just one year has it climbing the chart fast…
Well south of Denver and with a much smaller population, the city of Pueblo takes the third spot on our list. The city experienced auto theft at a rate of 891 per 100,000 residents. Additionally, the theft rate increased by a whopping 47% in one year. Pueblo police cite driver apathy as a reason behind the record levels of theft.
#5 According to the FBI, more than 14 million crimes are reported in the United States each year…
The FBI released detailed data on over 14 million criminal offenses for 2023 reported to the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program by participating law enforcement agencies. More than 16,000 state, county, city, university and college, and tribal agencies, covering a combined population of 94.3% inhabitants, submitted data to the UCR Program through the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) and the Summary Reporting System.
Further complicating matters is the fact that the U.S. doesn’t have one criminal legal system; instead, we have thousands of federal, state, local, and tribal systems. Together, these systems hold over 1.9 million people in 1,566 state prisons, 98 federal prisons, 3,116 local jails, 1,323 juvenile correctional facilities, 142 immigration detention facilities, and 80 Indian country jails, as well as in military prisons, civil commitment centers, state psychiatric hospitals, and prisons in the U.S. territories — at a system-wide cost of at least $182 billion each year.
#7 The U.S. has the largest prison population in the world by a very wide margin. We have approximately 5 percent of the world’s population, but we have approximately 25 percent of the world’s incarcerated population.
#8 According to the FBI, 33,000 criminal gangs are operating inside the United States today…
Some 33,000 violent street gangs, motorcycle gangs, and prison gangs are criminally active in the U.S. today. Many are sophisticated and well organized; all use violence to control neighborhoods and boost their illegal money-making activities, which include robbery, drug and gun trafficking, prostitution and human trafficking, and fraud. Many gang members continue to commit crimes even after being sent to jail.
#9 Collectively, it has been estimated that those gangs have about a million members.
#10 Gangs account for about 80 percent of the violent crimes that are committed in the U.S. each year.
#11 In 2023, there were 127,436 rapes reported in the United States.
#12 For the most recent year that we have data, it was being estimated that more than 550,000 U.S. children “were victims of abuse and neglect”…
An estimated 558,899 children (unique incidents) were victims of abuse and neglect in the U.S. in 2022, the most recent year for which there is national data.
More than 795,000 people were listed on state sex offender registries as of August 2024. This is about 8,000 more people than in 2023.
#14 There are 75,710 registered sex offenders in the state of Texas.
#15 There are 60,615 registered sex offenders in the state of California.
What in the world is wrong with us?
What would cause people to behave this way?
At this point, our society is literally teeming with evil. In my brand new book entitled “Why”, I take a look at the root causes that motivate people to do what they do. It isn’t an accident that our society has gone completely and utterly nuts. It is simply a result of cause and effect.
As a society, we have been doing the wrong things for a very long time, and so now we have a giant mess on our hands.
Let us hope for better things in 2025, because right now lawlessness is thriving all around us.
Are we supposed to be shocked that someone was just gunned down on the streets of New York City? The truth is that this happens all the time. Violence is out of control in the Big Apple, and of course the exact same thing could be said about most of our other major cities. According to the FBI, more than 14 million crimes were committed in the United States last year. The only reason why everybody is suddenly making a big deal about this is because someone “important” got shot. Our society is dominated by large corporations, and so when the CEO of one of the largest corporations in the healthcare industry gets gunned down it is going to make news…
The CEO of UnitedHealth’s insurance division was gunned down Wednesday morning outside the Hilton hotel in Midtown in what police called a “brazen, targeted” attack.
Brian Thompson, 50, was repeatedly shot by a masked gunman about 6:46 a.m. who had been lying in wait outside the Sixth Avenue hotel, said NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch.
“Many people passed the suspect, but he appeared to wait for his intended target,” she said.
It definitely appears that the shooter was waiting for someone very specific.
And we are being told that all signs point to “a premeditated, preplanned, targeted attack”…
“I want to be clear at this time, every indication is that this was a premeditated, preplanned, targeted attack,” Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said during a news conference Wednesday following the shooting.
“This does not appear to be a random act of violence,” she said, adding that the department is carrying out a full investigation.
Thompson, 50, led UnitedHealthcare, the largest private health insurer in the U.S. He was on the way to UnitedHealth Group’s investor day set for Wednesday at 8 a.m. ET at the Hilton, the NYPD said. The company canceled that event after the shooting.
So why would someone want to kill the CEO of UnitedHealth’s insurance division?
As I write this article, a manhunt for the suspect is still underway, and so authorities have not been able to question him yet.
But I have a theory.
My theory is that the shooter is probably someone that had a claim denied by UnitedHealth.
UnitedHealthcare was being probed by the Department of Justice for alleged antitrust violations, while its parent company, UnitedHealthcare Group (UHG), has come under fire from angry patients who claim the insurer refused to cover their care.
UHG is the nation’s largest health insurance conglomerate. The company expected to bring in revenues of $450 billion in 2025, with Thompson believed to earn a salary in the region of $10million a year.
In July, more than 150 protesters from the People’s Action Institute campaign group gathered outside UHG’s headquarters in Minnetonka, Minnesota, in what became a fiery demonstration.
In fact, it is being alleged that the company even relies on AI to deny some claims even though there has been a very high error rate…
UnitedHealthcare was also accused of using AI to deny claims for post-acute care services in Medicare Advantage in a lawsuit slated earlier this month, according to Fierce Healthcare.
The proposed class action was filed by families of two senior Medicare Advantage members who died after the insurer allegedly used the NaviHealth platform illegally to reject care, as UHG profits ballooned.
According to the lawsuit, the technology has a ’90 percent error rate, and the company relies on patient complacency or lack of knowledge about the systems to keep using it.
Denying as many claims as possible has become a core part of the business model for many insurance companies in recent years.
When their claims are denied, many Americans do not have the resources to hire a lawyer and challenge those decisions in court.
I truly detest what has happened to our healthcare system. Greed reigns supreme, and vast numbers of Americans are not getting the coverage that they paid for month after month.
The NYPD is going to go all out to catch the shooter in this case, and that is because Brian Thompson is a big deal.
But what about the countless other victims that never have their cases solved?
The Upper West Side has devolved into a Wild West atmosphere where anything goes, terrified crime victims and neighbors begging for more cops told The Post.
Criminals are more emboldened than ever in the ritzy nabe — with robberies soaring over 30% compared to last year — and carjackers so brazen they flashed their guns without concern on consecutive Sundays in broad daylight.
“I have never felt so scared in this neighborhood the way I feel now,” one of the carjacking victims told The Post this week.
Sadly, similar conditions prevail in most of our other major cities.
“We want to be able to deliver as fast as we possibly can to every zip code across the country, however, at the same time we must put the safety of delivery drivers first,” Nantel said in a statement. “In the zip codes in question, there have been specific and targeted acts against drivers delivering Amazon packages. We made the deliberate choice to adjust our operations, including delivery routes and times, for the sole reason of protecting the safety of drivers.”
Many years ago, I would walk the streets of Washington D.C. with little fear.
Needless to say, those days are long gone.
Earlier this week, it was being reported that Secret Service agents that were assigned to U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen actually shot at suspects that were attempting to break into vehicles along a D.C. street…
A Secret Service special agent protecting U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen opened fire early Tuesday on people who were suspected to be trying to break into cars, authorities say. Yellen was not harmed and there’s no indication she or the Secret Service were specifically targeted.
A special agent was working “a protective assignment” on Stephenson Place NW in Washington, D.C., at about 1:30 a.m. when the agent “observed a sedan with multiple occupants who were attempting to open car doors along the street,” the Secret Service said in a statement.
That assignment was outside Yellen’s home, law enforcement sources told News4.
The only reason that story made news is because the Secret Service and Janet Yellen were involved.
When ordinary people have their vehicles stolen, nobody really cares because it is happening constantly.
In fact, one recent report found that the number of vehicle thefts in the United States each year is “approaching 1 million”…
A new report by LendingTree says the number of cars stolen yearly in the United States is approaching 1 million. The report added that vehicle thefts jumped nearly 14% nationwide from 2020 to 2022.
Of course the level of shoplifting in our country absolutely dwarfs the level of vehicle theft.
U.S. retailers collectively lose more than 100 billion dollars a year to “shrink” at this point.
When I say that we are experiencing a “crime wave”, I am not overstating things one bit.
In fact, I may actually be understating the severity of the problem.
Yes, I feel bad that Brian Thompson got gunned down. Please pray for his family.
But what about the millions of other crime victims in this country that nobody seems to care about?
This didn’t happen by accident. The horrifying crime wave that we are experiencing right now is the result of the deliberate policies of our leaders. Over the past four years, millions of people have been allowed to come pouring into this country through our wide open borders. Unfortunately, even gang members and individuals that had previously been convicted of committing very serious crimes were allowed to come in without being properly screened. Now crime is completely and utterly out of control in many areas of the country, and it certainly isn’t going to be easy to clean this mess up.
New York City is more than two thousand miles from the southern border, but like so many of our other major cities it is now being forced to deal with a dramatic rise in crime. According to the New York Post, terrified residents of the Upper West Side are literally “begging for more cops” because crime has gotten so bad…
In one of the wealthiest areas of the Big Apple, an “atmosphere where anything goes” now prevails.
How in the world did this happen?
Sadly, the answer is obvious. It is being reported that there are “almost 60,000 criminal migrants in New York City” at this point…
There are now almost 60,000 criminal migrants in New York City, according to new figures from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The figures, reviewed by The New York Post, show that there are 58.000 illegal migrants who are criminals or are facing criminal charges.
As The Post states, “Of the 759,218 illegal-border crossers living in the Big Apple the feds were aware of as of Nov. 17, a jaw-dropping 58,626—7.7%—were either previously convicted of crimes or had criminal charges pending.”
If our borders were secure, things would be far different.
Of course it certainly doesn’t help that police officers in New York have their hands tied and that those in authority are not very interested in prosecuting non-violent crimes. In fact, one veteran NYPD detective recently admitted that criminals are “emboldened by the lack of prosecution for anything in New York City”…
The carjackers and other shameless criminals are “emboldened by the lack of prosecution for anything in New York City,” a veteran NYPD detective said.
“They’re also doing it in broad daylight so they’re not even caring who’s around. [Manhattan District Attorney Alvin] Bragg is going to have to step up and do something,” the detective added.
Sadly, even when migrants commit violent crimes they are often put right back into the streets.
An ******* immigrant with an extensive criminal background was arrested for attempting to kidnap and rape a stranger he captured on a popular Virginia trail days after being released from jail, according to police.
During a press conference Monday evening, the Herndon Police Department announced that Denis Humberto Naverrette Romero, 31, was charged with abduction with intent to defile and rape a stranger he grabbed off a trail.
“Let me start by saying that I am incredibly saddened and outraged that a crime like this could happen here in the town of Herndon,” said Herndon Police Chief Maggie DeBoard.
How many times have we seen women get sexually assaulted by violent criminals that get put back into the streets instead of being deported?
We keep doing the same thing over and over again, and we keep getting the same results.
When will the madness finally end?
As I have discussed previously, unrestrained migration has fueled the tremendous growth of transnational gangs that we have been witnessing.
In addition to selling drugs and trafficking women, these gangs have also been systematically invading homes all over the country.
Now that the homes of NFL players such as Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are being hit, this crisis is starting to receive the kind of attention that it deserves…
The NFL issued a security alert to team security directors and the players’ union Wednesday about organized and skilled criminals that are increasingly targeting the homes of professional athletes, including the recent burglaries of Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, according to the memo obtained by NFL.com.
Sources say the FBI is investigating the crime wave as international organized crime. The league, the NFL Players Association and team security forces also have been monitoring the crime spree, which is believed to be tied to a South American crime syndicate. At least one other current NFL player’s home was burglarized in the past week.
“It’s legit,” said one source familiar with the situation. “It’s a transnational crime ring, and over the last three weeks, they’ve focused on NBA and NFL players, and it’s all over the country.”
From this point forward, all of our sports stars are going to need armed security at their homes at all times.
Yes, things really have gotten that bad.
These gangs are highly organized, and they “conduct extensive surveillance” in order to determine when the homes of targeted players will be empty…
Multiple people with knowledge of the crimes said the perpetrators are nonconfrontational and do not burglarize homes while residents are inside. Instead, they use public records to find players’ addresses and conduct extensive surveillance. Then, by tracking team schedules and the social media accounts of players and their families, they wait until homes are empty — often during games — and gain access and quickly steal items such as cash, jewelry, watches and handbags, focusing mainly on master bedrooms and closets.
What about you?
Do you live in an area where criminal gangs are starting to take control?
U.S. — All staffmember at the Federal Bureau of Investigation were granted a special “Grieving Day” on Friday so they could take time off to be with their families and mourn the results of the 2024 presidential election.
FBI Director Christopher Wray made the surprise announcement that agents and other staff nationwide would get a three-day weekend after he failed to come in to work himself.
“How could anyone be expected to work during such a tragic time?” Wray said. “This is not a time to vigilantly uphold the law and protect Americans from criminal activity. This is a time for mourning. We’re all going to be out of a job soon anyway. I’m just coasting at this point.”
Even agents currently in the middle of undercover drug operations were reportedly given leave for the day, potentially ruining cases that had been worked on for years.
Agents responded well to the surprise day off, with many taking the opportunity to stay home and cry because they “can’t even.” Some, however, were more optimistic. “There’s more to life than spying on American citizens,” mused Special Agent Richter Bells. “And thanks to all my time spying on citizens, I know all the best vacation spots. This weekend is going to be lit.”
At publishing time, FBI officials advised all staff to wear their government-issued federal agent sunglasses while in public to hide their tears.
