There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
NATIONAL HARBOR, MD — Announcing that it has now given up entirely, the Democratic National Committee selected David Hogg as its new Vice Chair.
The selection represents a powerful statement to the country that the DNC has no hope whatsoever, is an abject embarrassment, and has given in to despair.
“By choosing David Hogg, we are letting the nation know that the DNC is utterly doomed,” said Executive Committee member Miranda Langley. “We are forfeiting all pretense of being a successful organization, and welcome our final, total destruction. With David Hogg as our leader, the country can rest assured that the DNC has simply given up.”
According to internal sources, the Democratic National Committee felt that naming Hogg as Vice Chair was the simplest way to announce that it had stopped trying. “How better to let rank-and-file Democrats know that we have abandoned the cause,” said former DNC member Steve Cranton. “Obviously, we no longer care and look forward to the sweet release of death. Thank you, David!”
At publishing time, the DNC had announced that it would attempt to destroy itself entirely by declaring that its leading candidate for 2028 was Kamala Harris.
Travis is back on his mission to interview everyone. Next on the list is celebrity chef and restaurateur Andrew Gruel.
The Democratic National Committee’s new vice-chairman likes to style himself as anti-gun activist. But he is far more dangerous than that.
Hogg, 24, rose to political fame in the wake of the 2018 Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, of which he was a survivor. Tragically, many of his classmates were not so lucky.
Since then, Hogg has embarked on a variety of unsuccessful political ventures including the March For Our Lives gun control protests, a failed boycott of Fox News and specifically The Ingraham Angle and the launch of the pillow company called Good Pillow, which was intended to put Mike Lindell’s MyPillow out of business.
While some of Hogg’s ideas have gained traction, none of them have ever achieved their intended goals of overturning the Second Amendment and putting Fox News and MyPillow out of business.
Hogg’s political rise also earned him a place at Harvard University, from which he graduated in 2023.
However, Hogg’s election as the vice-chair of the Democratic National Committee gives him a level of institutional power that his activism has never been able to afford him.
With this in mind, it is worth reading this post put out by the Republican operative Steve Guest which exposes Hogg’s radical far-left views.
Among the ideas he has espoused, many through the megaphone of the X platform include abolishing ICE, defunding the police, and declaring the NRA a terrorist organization.
He also has an embarassing lack of knowledge about the U.S. constitution, once claiming that the Second Amendment was only designed to give each state the right to an armed national guard.
After four rounds of voting on Saturday, Hogg won 215 votes and Pennsylvania state Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta won 298 votes, more than the 205 votes needed for them to become vice chairs.
In his victory speech, Hogg promised to “kick some ass.”
“Who’s ready to take the fight to the Republicans and win this thing? Are you guys ready to fight? It’s been a long day, but guess what? We have a long road ahead,” he declared.
“Let’s go and kick some ass. Let’s go win our young people back, and let’s stop sending just our thoughts and prayers to address gun violence and do something.”
After Parkland, our country was in a similar moment—where we had a Republican trifecta in Washington, and we as students were told it wasn’t going to be possible for us to create change. But we didn’t listen. We went on the offense, put the Republicans on the defense, and we won.… pic.twitter.com/oJ1SNcqsLh
Last week, Lindy Li, a Democrat megadonor who served on the DNC finance committee, said that no one from the Kamala Harris campaign is taking responsibility for the absolutely massive amount of campaign cash that vanished into thin air in a matter of weeks.
Now, she is calling for a formal accounting of where the money went. She claims that certain individuals involved in the Harris campaign became millionaires overnight. She suggests that it was basically a case of friends taking care of other friends.
James Carville also recently called for an audit of the Harris campaign. They are both right. The Democrats are going to have a tough time raising money until people know where all this money went.
They need they deserve answers as to why these people became millionaires. Multimillionaires.
That campaign was supposed to be spent on battleground states making the economic case to Americans, explaining bread and butter issues, explaining how she would bring inflation down, not on lining the pockets of well-connected Democrats.”
Small Democrat donors, the type of people who chipped in $10 or $25 because they believed in the Harris campaign, should be outraged. They got totally fleeced by their own party.
The Democratic National Convention in August was nothing more than a farcical spectacle by the narrative machine. It was a show without any real substance or voter input. The reality is that not a single Democrat voter cast a primary ballot for Kamala Harris, yet the party is pretending as if the nomination was the result of a legitimate process.
They even dragged out President Joe Biden, who was effectively ousted by his own party’s elites, to deliver a slurred and angry speech on the first night. But this was just for show; Biden was quickly shuffled off to Santa Barbara, sidelined from his own party’s convention. The DNC’s charade goes beyond just this pantomime of democracy—it’s a calculated psychological operation designed to manipulate the American electorate.
Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, are being sold to the public with a brand of “joy,” endlessly repeated by the media, but this branding is as fake as the process that put them on the ticket. The campaign is devoid of policy substance, relying instead on staged videos and highly controlled rallies. It’s clear that Democrats are not interested in engaging with the public or the media in any meaningful way—they’re running a campaign based on lies and misdirection.
Biden repeated debunked hoaxes like the “very fine people” and “suckers and losers” lies. Such blatant falsehoods are part of the broader strategy to distract from the truth that Kamala Harris was already in office. She’s the VP – why can’t she deliver on her promises right away?
A failed Biden administration is a failed Harris administration, and no amount of narrative machine wizardry can change that. They are banking on this psychological-operation strategy to carry them to victory. The American people deserve better than this cynical and brazen attempt to rewrite reality.
