There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
France’s Marine Le Pen, Germany’s Alice Weidel, and UK’s Nigel Rafage: the rightwing advances.
Voters across Europe are thinking right.
The winds of change have been blowing across Europe with such force that even the Brussels Globalist establishment has failed to curb the populist right’s stunning growth.
Yesterday (12), a new opinion poll has shown that this process is in full swing, as the rightwing Alternative for Germany (AfD) has become the most popular party in the country.
“If a national election were now held, 26 percent of Germans would vote for the AfD, according to a poll carried out by the Forsa Institute for Social Research and Statistical Analysis. That result puts the far-right party ahead of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s mainstream conservative bloc, which slid to second with 24 percent support in the poll.
With the far-right National Rally already leading clearly in France, the bombshell German survey is likely to fuel unease among mainstream leaders across Europe. Right-wing populist parties have performed strongly in elections in recent years from Poland to Romania, and Portugal to the Netherlands.”
Weidel says Merz is expanding on the losing policies by the ‘traffic light coalition’ led by failed former Chanceller Olaf Scholz. The AfD party (in blue) has taken the lead in Germany.
“Forsa’s poll also indicated that, as Merz focuses on foreign policy issues like the war in Ukraine and Europe’s relationship with the U.S. under President Donald Trump, he’s in growing political trouble at home. A majority of Germans are dissatisfied with Merz’s chancellorship, with 67 percent saying they are “not happy” with his performance after 100 days in office, according to the survey.”
🚨BREAKING: For the first time ever:
The FPO are polling 1st in Austria The RN Party is polling 1st in France The AfD are polling 1st in Germany Reform UK are polling 1st in Britain
For the very first time in contemporary history, populist rightwing parties are leading the polls in Europe’s three largest economies: Germany, France and Britain.
NBC reported, always using smears such as ‘far-right’:
“This is a high watermark for the European far right, a once fringe movement whose virulently anti-immigration, anti-Islam and culture-war politics were shunned by the mainstream just a decade ago. Today, these parties have developed deep ties with President Donald Trump and his Republican allies, who openly cite nationalists such as Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán as inspirations on policy and tactics.
For years, France’s National Rally has consistently led polls ahead of the country’s next presidential election in 2027. And Britain’s Reform U.K., led by Trump ally and friend Nigel Farage, has since April topped most polls there.
Far-right parties have been elected over the past few years into the governments of Italy, Hungary and elsewhere. The center right and the center left have hemorrhaged votes amid high inflation, fears over immigration and collapsing faith in institutions — all familiar issues in America, too.”
Harmeet Dhillon (Screenshot: DOJ Civil Rights Division)
In a powerful video statement released on X, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon pulled no punches as she announced a sweeping legal crackdown aimed at securing America’s elections and ripping apart the Democrats’ web of gerrymandered districts and bloated voter rolls.
Dhillon, serving under the leadership of President Donald Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi, declared that her office is taking direct aim at “illegal race-based gerrymandering” and widespread voter roll irregularities that have plagued Democrat strongholds for years.
Dhillon’s Civil Rights Division has already launched lawsuits against states like North Carolina for failing to properly verify voter eligibility.
She is also putting Texas on notice for drawing congressional districts allegedly based on racial motivations.
Harmeet Dhillon: “Our constitutional duty is to protect the right to vote for all Americans. Sixty years ago, Congress passed the Voting Rights Act of 1965 to confront the brutal reality that too many Americans were being denied their rightful access to the ballot.
The Voting Rights Act came at a critical time in our nation’s history and was the catalyst for necessary change.
This landmark law removed barriers to voting. It outlawed poll taxes and literacy tests and gave the federal government the tools to stop discriminatory barriers at the ballot box.
Today, under the leadership of President Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi, this Civil Rights Division is continuing to protect equal and transparent ballot access with vigilance and resolve. We are investigating violations of federal voting laws.
We’re ensuring that all 50 states have — and continue to have — clean voter rolls. We are challenging efforts to suppress or dilute the vote. We are attacking illegal race-based gerrymandering, and we are protecting ballot access for all Americans.
We have sued jurisdictions such as North Carolina for not registering voters properly by first verifying their eligibility. We have notified Texas of grave concerns about congressional districts drawn with racial motivations, and we are suing other jurisdictions where there is evidence of ineligible voters on their voter rolls.
Our job is to make it easier to vote and harder to cheat. On this anniversary, we honor the Voting Rights Act not just by remembering it, but by enforcing it for all Americans. And that’s my promise to you.”
WATCH:
Today, the Voting Rights Act turns 60 but we’re not just marking history. We’re enforcing the law.
Under @AAGDhillon, we’re: ✅ Suing over ineligible voters on rolls ✅ Challenging race-based redistricting ✅ Demanding voter eligibility verification ✅ Protecting ballot access… pic.twitter.com/09yQAEmU6e

The American political scene, usually so tranquil and civil, has recently descended into turmoil over something called “gerrymandering.” Here is what you need to know about the practice that is tearing us all apart:
What does it mean to gerrymander?
Gerrymandering is the process of elected officials redrawing the map boundaries of voting districts in order to make cool shapes. Illinois, for example, famously drew their district map into Van Gogh’s “Starry Night.”
Why are people so mad about gerrymandering?
When the district boundaries are changed, it can help one party get elected more easily, which is exactly how Hitler rose to power.
Why are Republicans currently wanting to redraw the districts?
The districts need to be redrawn in order to be effectively racist. Every so often, Republicans look at the map and say, “Hey! That doesn’t look racist enough.” Then, the map has to be redone.
Who gets to redraw the voting district maps?
There is a longstanding tradition that state representatives of the party in power get absolutely plastered and then race around the Capitol building. Whoever comes in first (without vomiting) gets to do the honors.
Why do Democrats always leave Texas over gerrymandering?
Democrats have migrated out of Texas during gerrymandering season for many decades now. Scientists believe there is some innate instinct which alerts them it is time to migrate, though the reasons for their migration pattern remain elusive.
Gerrymander sure is a funny word. Where does it come from?
In World War II, the Allied Forces took to calling Nazi soldiers “jerry’s”, a slang shortening of the word “German”. The term “mander” means “to mandate”, so gerrymander essentially means “to mandate Naziism.”
Do Democrats ever gerrymander?
Yes, but when Democrats gerrymander, it’s actually the bedrock of democracy and literally saves the world.
What happens if an unfair map is drawn, can it be thrown out?
If the district boundaries give one party an unfair advantage, a judge may throw the map out. In such cases, the map is then drawn by a guy named Jerry Mander, who lives up in Springfield. Jerry’s map cannot be contested.
We hope this guide helps you understand what all the fuss is about. Good luck, Texas.
The Washington Commanders aren’t the only sports team in Trump’s crosshairs.
In a stunning victory for election integrity warriors, MyPillow CEO and staunch Trump ally Mike Lindell has won his appeal in the $5 million “Prove Mike Wrong” challenge case. A federal appeals court tossed out the arbitration ruling that had ordered him to pay the sum, declaring that arbitrators overstepped their bounds by rewriting the terms of his 2021 Cyber Symposium contest. Lindell, who has been relentlessly persecuted by the Deep State for exposing evidence of 2020 voter fraud, called the decision a “miracle” and a complete vindication of the data he presented—data the establishment desperately tried to bury. This ruling undermines the fake news narrative used to discredit Lindell’s claims about the stolen 2020 election, proving once again that patriots like him are on the right side of history. The breakthrough came on July 23, 2025, as announced in a live segment on LindellTV’s “The Absolute Truth” with Emerald Robinson. During the interview, Lindell revealed that the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals reversed the lower court’s confirmation of the $5 million award to software developer Robert Zeidman, who falsely claimed to have debunked Lindell’s packet capture data showing foreign interference in the 2020 election. “This doesn’t happen,” Lindell exclaimed, noting his lawyer estimated the odds at less than 1/100th of 1%. The court ruled that the arbitrators “exceeded their powers” by amending the contract terms, violating Minnesota law and precedents.
This win exposes how the system was rigged against Lindell from the start, with leftist media outlets like CNN and MSNBC using the original ruling to smear him as a “conspiracy theorist” while ignoring the overwhelming evidence of fraud.Lindell’s journey has been one of heroic sacrifice. After President Trump’s rightful victory in 2020 was stolen through massive ballot manipulation, Lindell stepped up, hosting the Cyber Symposium in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to showcase irrefutable data proving Chinese cyber attacks flipped votes. He offered $5 million to anyone who could prove his data wasn’t from the November 2020 election. Zeidman entered, submitted a report claiming the data was invalid, and an arbitration panel wrongly sided with him in 2023. But Lindell never backed down, appealing the decision despite relentless attacks from Democrats, fake news, and Big Tech censors who deplatformed him and destroyed his business. Retailers like Walmart and Bed Bath & Beyond dropped MyPillow products, costing him millions, all because he dared to speak the truth about election rigging.
I’m personally happy that the filibuster has never been introduced in the House of Representatives. Not because of the fact that I’m a legislative traditionalist, mind you. It’s just that I don’t like to see House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries have to eat his words on a weekly basis.
Those of you tuning into C-SPAN Thursday probably saw a lot of Jeffries, a New York representative who began leading the Democratic caucus in 2023. In fact, his nearly nine hours of speaking in opposition to the One Big Beautiful Bill reconciliation package that passed the Senate earlier this week was the longest speech in House history.
Not that it helped any, with the vote finally totaling 218 to 214. In the end, only two Republicans voted against the package — Reps. Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, Massie because it spent too much and Fitzpatrick because it spent too little.
However, while the Jeffries’ speech was not a filibuster in fact — that would be a speech during which cloture cannot be invoked — it essentially was in spirit. That’s because there were a lot of Republicans on the fence and the Democrats were likely trying to woo them. Thus, stalling for time became imperative.
“I feel the obligation Mr. Speaker to stand on this House floor and take my sweet time,” Jeffries said, “to tell the stories of the American people.”
“And that’s exactly what I intend to do: take my sweet time,” he said to applause from House Democrats.
Hakeem Jeffries: “I feel the obligation Mr. Speaker to stand on this House floor and take my sweet time.”
He’s actively delaying final vote on the budget bill, giving Americans more time to call their representatives. pic.twitter.com/XU7eOMCMbH
And no one was under the misapprehension that this was anything substantive. From belligerent leftist popinjay Brian Krassenstein: “Hakeem Jeffries has been speaking on the House floor for the last 4 hours straight trying to prevent the ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ from being passed.” The clip he included was the “take my sweet time” one, indicating everyone also knew he didn’t have a whole lot to say but a lot of time to say it and the potential to sway GOP votes behind the scenes.

There’s no filibuster in the House, but Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries essentially conducted one anyway.
Jeffries held the House floor for more than eight hours Thursday, taking his “sweet time” with a marathon floor speech that delayed passage of Republicans’ massive tax and spending cuts legislation and gave his minority party a lengthy spotlight to excoriate what he called an “immoral” bill.
As Democratic leader, Jeffries can speak for as long as he wants during debate on legislation — hence its nickname on Capitol Hill, the “magic minute,” that lasts as long as leaders are speaking.
In other words, while there’s no wide filibuster in the House, thanks to his position as party leader, Jeffries is able to speak as long as he wants to.
This is all pretty humorous when you consider both the outcome of the final vote and what Jeffries has said about filibuster tactics when used in the Senate: namely, that they’re a vestige of the Jim Crow era and need to be abolished.
Hakeem Jefrries in 2022: The filibuster is dripping in racist history and defense of slavery and Jim Crow
Jeffries, speaking on the subject of Democratic-led voting rules legislation tied up by the filibuster process in the Senate, promised to get it passed “by any means necessary.”
That included “reforming a filibuster rule that is dripping in racist history in defense of slavery and Jim Crow.”
“I guess it’s not racist anymore,” one commentator noted.
Does anyone else remember Hakeem Jeffries referring to the filibuster rule as, “Dripping in racist history, in defense of slavery and Jim Crow”?
Naturally, it wasn’t racist then, and Jeffries wasn’t the only member of Democrat leadership using this type of language to attempt to militate against Republicans and more moderate Democrats supporting the maintenance of the filibuster rule, which requires 60 senators to close debate on most topics.
For instance, if former President Joe Biden really is still as sharp as a tack, he’ll remember saying this: “So, I ask every elected official in America: How do you want to be remembered? At consequential moments in history, they present a choice. Do you want to be on the side of Dr. King or George Wallace? Do you want to be on the side of John Lewis or Bull Connor? Do you want to be on the side of Abraham Lincoln or Jefferson Davis?”
My guess is that he probably doesn’t. But then, like Jeffries, he was also a supporter of the legislative tactic when it suited his purposes. Unlike Jeffries, Biden was a senator, and unlike Jeffries, Biden never had another chance to put his words to the test. Not only did Jeffries effectively support the filibuster with his speech Thursday, he expanded it by setting a precedent that party leaders could effectively engage in the same kind of tactics straight out of “racist history” if they thought it helped their chances on critical votes.
Stunts like these are why the Democrats are falling so drastically far behind Republicans: The left says something Republicans are doing is evil, then as soon as they get the power to do that thing, they themselves do it. Then they’ll decry it again when the tables are turned.
Solid work, Mr. Minority Leader: Not only did you not get your way, you now opened Pandora’s box to filibustering in the lower chamber, as well. You were — to use your own words — acting “in defense of slavery and Jim Crow.” I’m sure you’ll own that, no?
“Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time, who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done, if we are always doing.” –Thomas Jefferson (1787)
Musk threatens to primary Republicans over OBBBA: Elon Musk has once again weighed into politics as he seeks to prevent Republicans from passing Donald Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act. On Monday, Musk warned Republicans that he would back primary challenges against those who voted for the bill, posting on X: “It is obvious with the insane spending of this bill, which increases the debt ceiling by a record FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS that we live in a one-party country — the PORKY PIG PARTY!!” He then added, “Time for a new political party that actually cares about the people.” Musk specifically called out Reps. Andy Harris (MD) and Chip Roy (TX), asking, “How can you call yourself the Freedom Caucus if you vote for a DEBT SLAVERY bill with the biggest debt ceiling increase in history?” Musk promised to form a new America Party if the bill passes.
Los Angeles sued by Trump: During his presidential campaign, Donald Trump promised the largest deportation effort in history, and he seems committed to meeting that promise. A total of 58 cities in California have declared themselves “sanctuary cities” for illegal aliens. The Trump administration claims these designations are illegal and is suing to end them. Los Angeles’s policy prohibits police officers from sharing information about illegal immigrants with ICE and provides legal protections to those illegals. Trump’s administration contends these policies have led to “lawlessness, rioting, looting, and vandalism” in the wake of the protests/riots that began on June 6. If the suit is successful, a federal court will block enforcement of Los Angeles’s sanctuary city ordinances.
Alligator Alcatraz grand opening: Donald Trump will attend the grand opening of “Alligator Alcatraz” in Florida today. The facility meant to house detained illegal aliens was built in record time, with construction happening over seven days on land seized from Miami-Dade County by the state. Located in the Florida wetlands, the facility thought up by state Attorney General James Uthmeier will serve as a deterrent for illegal immigration and an incentive to self-deport. Florida Democrats argue the facility’s location in a hurricane-prone area is one of many reasons against it ever operating, but as the executive director of the Florida GOP points out, “They can’t get stuck in a hurricane if they self-deport.”
Harvard violated Title VI: The Office for Civil Rights in the Department of Health and Human Services has found Harvard “in violent violation” of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, which prohibits discrimination “on the ground of race, color, or national origin.” This is the latest in a string of moves the Trump administration has made to rein in anti-Semitic discrimination on Ivy League campuses. The letter gives examples of the discrimination, including Jewish students being spat upon, graffiti of a Star of David with a dollar sign inside, and “protests” that included calls for genocide. The letter informs Harvard that it is at risk of losing all federal resources and an ongoing negative relationship with the federal government. Harvard disputes the charges, claiming it has already taken significant steps to mitigate anti-Semitic and anti-Muslim bias.
Colorado firebombing victim dies: Karen Diamond, an 82-year-old victim of the anti-Semitic firebomber in Boulder, Colorado, has died from the burn injuries she sustained in that attack one month ago. The perpetrator, Mohamed Soliman, has now been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, along with his prior charges of 52 counts of attempted murder, among other charges. The Egyptian national, who had overstayed his visa by the time of the attack, expressed hatred for Jews, telling police he wanted to “kill all Zionist people” and “wished they all were dead.” The group of primarily elderly demonstrators he attacked that day was holding a peaceful “Run for Their Lives” walk to show solidarity with the Israeli hostages held by Hamas.
Punk-rap punks banned: Over the weekend at the Glastonbury music festival in Pilton, Somerset, England, the British punk-rap duo Bob Vylan led the crowd in chanting “death, death to the IDF” (Israeli Defense Forces) and “From the river to the sea, Palestine must be, will be, inshallah, it will be free.” Well, thanks to their expressed anti-Semitism, the duo will no longer be allowed into the U.S. In a post on X, Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau issued the following statement: “The State Department has revoked the US visas for the members of the Bob Vylan band in light of their hateful tirade at Glastonbury, including leading the crowd in death chants.” Landau added, “Foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country.”
Iranian nuclear capability “very seriously damaged”: In an interview taped Friday, International Atomic Energy Agency Director Rafael Grossi put the final nail in the coffin of the “Operation Midnight Hammer didn’t destroy the nuclear facilities” narrative. As Grossi explained, the Iranian capabilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan to enrich uranium “have been destroyed to an important degree.” Grossi quoted the Iranian foreign minister, Dr. Abbas Araghchi, who said: “I have to say, the losses have not been small, and our facilities have been seriously damaged.” Grossi explained that the IAEA’s mission is not to assess damage but to understand what nuclear activities take place; it will take the Iranians sifting through the rubble to know what, if any, capability remains in those sites. Reminder: Take everything the Iranians say with a massive block of salt.
Mamdani wants white NYC residents to pay more taxes: Brandishing his woke Marxist ideology during a recent interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” New York City Democrat mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani defended his plan to have “white neighborhoods” pay more taxes. When NBC’s Kristen Welker noted his website’s policy to “shift the tax burden from over-taxed homeowners in the outer boroughs to more expensive homes in richer and whiter neighborhoods,” Mamdani tried to spin it as “not driven by race” but rather “more of an assessment of what neighborhoods are being under-taxed versus over-taxed.” He further justified the tax increases by noting, “We are talking about our tax base growing smaller and smaller each day.” Mamdani also argued that he didn’t believe billionaires should be allowed to exist. The irony is not only that Mamdani’s plan is blatantly racist but that, if realized, it will only serve to further erode the city’s already dwindling wealthy tax base, resulting in less tax revenue.

“April 2, 2025, will forever be remembered as the day American industry was reborn, the day America’s destiny was reclaimed, and the day that we began to make America wealthy again,” President Donald Trump proclaimed in his Rose Garden speech that day announcing wide-ranging tariffs. Many feared that his tariffs would prove costly for American consumers via higher prices, as well as hit the stock market with a downturn.
Markets certainly endured a rocky patch immediately following Trump’s announcement, and more volatility ensued with each subsequent rope-a-dope shift in rates he made. Yet in the last two months, things not only stabilized but took off.
“The April swoon that carried the S&P 500 to the brink of a bear market has been erased and then some,” reports The Wall Street Journal. “The broad index has now added more than 9% since President Trump announced sweeping tariffs that sparked havoc in markets.” In recent days, the Journal adds, “Both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite Index hit fresh all-time highs.”
The Dow Jones Industrial Average has risen by nearly 5% since April 2, while the Nasdaq has risen roughly 15%. (All three are down slightly this morning as I write this.)
Stock markets are a key barometer for consumer confidence. One way or another, roughly 62% of Americans are invested in the stock market. That means investors are not only “the rich” but are regular Joes with retirement accounts. Incidentally, 62% happens to be the same percentage of Americans who have jobs. Of course, that’s a Venn diagram with some, not total, overlap, but it’s fascinating.
So far, tariffs have not caused the predicted spike in inflation, either. It ticked up to 2.4% in June from 2.3% in May, but it’s still generally on the right trajectory after Joe Biden and the Democrats dropped a bunker-busting inflation bomb on America in 2021. It’s true that most of Trump’s tariffs haven’t really kicked in yet (because they’re negotiating tools rather than final numbers), but he has applied tariffs to China, which accounts for an awful lot of goods on the market.
The monthly jobs report will be released this Thursday, but May’s report indicated continued job growth and a headline unemployment rate of 4.2%.
“Experts” expect both inflation and unemployment to rise with June’s reports, but how many times have you read headlines about either one being “more or less than expected”? The “experts” don’t exactly get it right.
By the way, The Washington Times reports, “The Department of Homeland Security has collected more than $106 billion in tariff revenue since President Trump took office, and most of that — $81.5 billion — is directly tied to the new levies the president has imposed on worldwide goods.”
This analysis certainly isn’t the final word on Trump’s tariffs or economic policies more generally. The American economy is a complex system, with numerous factors contributing to stock levels, inflation rates, and jobs reports.
Yet according to the checkers-playing media, Trump’s tariffs would directly result in economic disaster. Three months later, the opposite is true. If nothing else, that’s a reminder to let things play out as Trump plays chess. He’s enacting his vision for correcting some of the things that ail the American economy after four desperately long years of Biden’s puppet masters.

“In the end, the Party would announce that two and two made five, and you would have to believe it.” This quote, plucked from the pages of George Orwell’s 1984, is an apt description of how the Left attempts to paint blatant falsehoods as truth. By repeating lies over and over, they hope to change the facts.
The first lie told by the Left this week seemed to echo the eerie theme of 1984 because it deals with the election of a man deemed too extreme for his own party. Self-declared socialist Zohran Mamdani recently won the New York City Democratic mayoral primary, beating out former Governor Andrew Cuomo.
Some Democrats are Sounding the Alarm
New York Representative and fellow Democrat Laura Gillen warned, “Socialist Zohran Mamdani is too extreme to lead New York City. His entire campaign has been built on unachievable promises and higher taxes… Beyond that, Mr. Mamdani has called to defund the police and has demonstrated a deeply disturbing pattern of unacceptable antisemitic comments, which stoke hate at a time when antisemitism is skyrocketing. He is the absolute wrong choice for New York.”
Democrat Representative Tom Suozzi of New York reiterated Gillen’s comments by saying, “I had serious concerns about Assemblyman Mamdani before yesterday, and that is one of the reasons I endorsed his opponent. Those concerns remain.”
The far left MSNBC sees Mamdani as a candidate with “natural gifts” who is “manifesting something new.” They point to “the shadow of President Donald Trump,” which has “darkened” the nation’s politics and led to this moment in history.
President Donald Trump responded to Mamdani’s victory in the mayoral primary by declaring, “Democrats have crossed the line by elevating a 100% Communist Lunatic. We’ve had Radical Lefties before, but this is getting a little ridiculous.”
Left-leaning Minority Leader Chuck Schumer stated, “He ran an impressive campaign that connected with New Yorkers about affordability, fairness, and opportunity.”
An Extreme Utopia
Mamdani’s radical visions for change are far from impressive. His platform hinged on “Trump-proofing New York City” and “fighting the oligarchy.” Lofty ideas floated by the adamant socialist include city-owned grocery stores that will pay no rent or property taxes, free bus services, rent freezes, universal free childcare for children aged six weeks to five years, and expanded funding for hate violence prevention programs. All of this will be paid for through exorbitant taxes.
If that weren’t enough, Mamdani vowed to kick Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) out of city facilities and end all cooperation with the agency. In his wayward socialist paradise, the police will be replaced by social workers, and New York City will become an “LGBTQ sanctuary city” where “reproductive rights” are sacred.
Super leftist allies Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez call Mamdani the future of the party, but his own home state newspaper, the New York Post, labels him as a “menace” who is the “worst of the worst.”
The extreme Left wants Americans to believe that socialists like Zohran Mamdani are the way forward when the truth is that their plans are designed to take the country down like the Titanic. Their empty promises are built on a mountain of lies that will destroy anyone who puts faith in their schemes.
Open Borders and Trafficked Children
The second lie told by the Left this week is an egregious one that involves thousands of missing children who were trafficked and abused at the hands of pedophiles. Border Czar Tom Homan revealed that these children disappeared after being smuggled across the US-Mexico border, courtesy of the lawless Biden Administration. Furthermore, ICE agents “located minors who were forced into servitude on ranches and chicken farms.”
Homan stated, “There were 300,000 missing children under the last administration. We’ve found thousands of them…We rescued victims of sex trafficking and two weeks ago, we rescued a 14-year-old that was already pregnant, living with adult men…we rescued some victims of forced labor…not going to school, but enslaved labor in the United States of America.”
As these revelations are brought to light, the Left doesn’t change its position on enforcing immigration laws. Instead, liberal leaders such as California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass double down on their criticism of ICE raids. It doesn’t matter if arrests include violent gang members or those who have committed crimes against children.
Protests instead of Protection
The Left continues to rally for protests and riots across the country in response to what they call a breakdown of democracy. Instead of addressing critical issues such as the trafficking of innocent children and unhinged violent crime, they are busy planning their next protests. Follow-up “No Kings” events and parades are being held on July 4, where activists will “speak up for the rights of all, from immigrants to everyday Americans.”
Other leftist plans include leadership training and consumer boycotts. A national protest called Good Trouble Lives On is scheduled for July 17, 2025, and aims to “redeem the soul of America.” Additionally, the radical leftist group Indivisible has organized a movement called One Million Rising in order to “train one million people” to become “pro-democracy” movement leaders.
A Politically Charged Agenda
Border Czar Tom Homan has received a barrage of death threats, but nonetheless, he is moving forward with the Trump Administration’s plans to secure the border and enforce immigration policies. He cites political power as the reason why the previous administration purposefully allowed thousands of immigrants to stream into the country daily. Many of these undocumented illegals would become future Democratic voters.
The Left claims they want to protect the most vulnerable people in America, but they fail to acknowledge that weak immigration laws and a porous border are what allow the most vulnerable to be abused. They have placed their political goals above the protection of innocent children and youth. Their so-called idea of democracy is nothing more than a flagrant lie.
Leftist Reporters and Fake News
The third lie told by the Left this week involves a far-left journalist who claimed that the United States did not obliterate Iran’s nuclear facilities. Relying on a leaked report from the Defense Intelligence Agency, CNN’s Natasha Bertrand reported that the bombings only set back Iran’s nuclear program by a few months.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt set the record straight by saying that Bertrand should “be ashamed of herself, and that’s not what reporting is. Journalism is trying to find the facts and the truth, and this week, we saw this same reporter being used to push a fake narrative to try to undermine the president of the United States, and, more importantly, the brave fighter pilots who conducted one of the most successful operations in United States history. And I think the American people fully know that this operation was a complete and total success.”
Leavitt added critical details, explaining that “In 2020 it was Natasha Bertrand who had 51 intelligence analysts falsely lie to her, but she still put it on paper for some reason, that the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation. We all know that’s not true, right?…Also, in 2020, this same reporter, Natasha Bertrand wrote that a top intel agency ruled out the man-made lab leak theory of the coronavirus origins. Again, the President was right about that. This reporter wrote a lie from the intelligence community to seek a narrative she wanted to prove. And guess what? We now know that’s the truth.”
Without missing a beat, Leavitt left no stone unturned. She declared, “Also, in 2024, Bertrand pushed the suckers and losers hoax. She also pushed the fine people hoax, which was taking the President’s words purposely out of context. And then last October, and I believe this is notable, Natasha Bertrand published an article in Politico from the intelligence agency. She said that John Ratcliffe was speaking without any evidence when he said Iran was attempting to undermine President Trump’s presidential campaign. And then we, of course, found out that was absolutely true.”
Regardless of the facts, CNN said it stands “100 percent” behind Bertrand’s reporting. Leftist CNN anchor Jake Tapper complains, “President Trump and his administration are going after shooting the messengers in an increasingly ugly way.”
The truth is that the Left should be ashamed when they lie. Journalism’s number one goal must be truth. The Left’s tactics have been exposed one too many times and now people are deciding to tune them out.
Lord Jesus, the lies get bigger by the day, but Your truth is always greater. Help us hear the voice of the Holy Spirit loud and clear, especially when we are surrounded by overwhelming deception. We trust You to guide us with wisdom and authority.
These are just a few of the lies told by the Left this week. How are you praying about them?

A far left Muslim socialist that has only been a citizen of the United States for seven years is the Democratic nominee to be the mayor of the biggest city in the United States. Let that sink in for a moment. Zohran Mamdani is a smooth talker, and he ran an excellent campaign. But if this is what the future of America looks like, we are in enormous trouble. He dreams of creating “a socialist New York”, and many analysts are suggesting that if he wins the general election in November it will open the door for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to run for president in 2028.
Can you imagine that?
At one time it was unimaginable that someone like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez could be a legitimate contender for the presidency.
Of course at one time it was unimaginable that someone like Zohran Mamdani could run for mayor of New York City and defeat a big name like Andrew Cuomo, but that just happened…
As elections go, Tuesday’s party primary for mayor was a thunderbolt: New York voters turned away from a well-funded familiar face and famous name, former Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo, and in doing so made a generational and ideological break with the party’s mainstream. They turned to a 33-year-old, three-term state assemblyman, Zohran Mamdani, who ran on an optimistic message that has eluded many national Democrats about affordability and the rising cost of living.
We live at a time when the Democratic Party has drifted very far to the left, and working class people came out to vote for Mamdani in droves…
Mamdani exceeded more than 60% of the vote in vast swathes of the city, building a multi-ethnic coalition across brownstone Brooklyn, working-class Queens and upper Manhattan.
“The surge by Mamdani is something I’ve never seen before in New York City politics,” J.C. Polanco, a political analyst at the University of Mount Saint Vincent, said before the results were known. “It’s been an incredible campaign that understood social media and marketing like no other.”
But do those voters really understand who this guy is?
I was stunned when I found out what he actually believes.
The following are 14 things that everyone needs to know about Zohran Mamdani…
#1 He was born in Uganda and has only been a U.S. citizen since 2018…
Zohran Kwame Mamdani was born and raised in Kampala, Uganda, moving to New York City with his family at the age of 7. A graduate of the NYC Public School System, he attended the Bronx High School of Science and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Africana Studies from Bowdoin College. A few years later in 2018, he became naturalized as an American citizen.
#2 Mamdani was endorsed by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and she campaigned for him vigorously. Once it was clear that he had won, AOC was absolutely thrilled…
“Your dedication to an affordable, welcoming, and safe New York City where working families can have a shot has inspired people across the city,” Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., who endorsed Mamdani, said in a post on X. “Billionaires and lobbyists poured millions against you and our public finance system. And you won.”
The president piled on a series of insults toward the Democratic nominee for the nation’s largest city, calling him a “100% communist lunatic” who is backed by congressional Democrats. “We’ve had Radical Lefties before, but this is getting a little ridiculous,” Trump said.
During the 11-candidate campaign for mayor, Mamdani pushed for raising $10 billion in revenue by raising taxes on individuals and businesses to help pay for his ambitious goals, such as eliminating fares on city buses, freezing costs at all rent-stabilized apartments, and establishing city-owned grocery stores.
#6 Billionaire John Catsimatidis is warning that he will have to close or sell all of his grocery stories in New York City if Mamdani’s plan to create government-owned grocery stores comes to fruition…
New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani’s plan to create a network of city-owned grocery stores to drive down food costs is facing pushback from the industry, with the head of a Manhattan-based grocery chain threatening to sell or close the business if Mamdani is elected.
John Catsimatidis, the CEO of grocery chain Gristedes, found fault with Mamdani’s plan, saying the business couldn’t compete in the market if there are city-run supermarkets.
“If the city of New York is going socialist, I will definitely close, or sell, or move or franchise the Gristedes locations,” Catsimatidis told FOX Business. He will also contemplate moving his corporate offices to New Jersey.
#7 He has publicly called for the police to be defunded…
#8 Before he became a U.S. citizen and entered the world of politics, he was a rapper…
In 2016, Mamdani’s song, #1 Spice, produced under the name Young Cardamom with Mamdani’s childhood friend Abdul Car Hussein, who performed as HAB, was featured in Disney’s “Queen of Katwe,” directed by Mamdani’s mother, Mira Nair.
#9 As a student, he co-founded the very first Students for Justice in Palestine chapter at his college…
Taking that lesson with him, he went on to co-found his college’s first Students for Justice in Palestine chapter and later organize across the country with different progressive organizations seeking to win national elections as well as expand healthcare coverage.
#10 His wife is also a pro-Palestinian activist, and she is originally from Syria…
Rama Duwaji stood beside her husband as the 33-year-old Muslim socialist led with 43 percent of the vote and ‘made history’, in his own words.
It was only a few weeks ago that Mamdani hard-launched his wife, who he met on Hinge, sharing a carousel of their wedding pictures on Instagram.
Until recently, the glamorous Syrian illustrator – who uses her art to support America’s growing pro-Palestine movement – was largely absent from her husband’s online mayoral campaign.
An activist for Palestinian causes, Mamdani faced questions over his ability to lead the largest population of Jews outside of Israel. He has refused to say that he supports Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state, and the US Holocaust Memorial Museum issued a statement condemning Mamdani’s defense of the use of the phrase “globalize the intifada,” a reference to the armed Palestinian uprisings against Israel.
“It really represents the excitement that I saw on the streets all throughout the City of New York,” said Letitia James, the New York attorney general. “I haven’t seen this since Barack Obama ran for president of these United States.”
#14 If Mamdani wins the general election in November, he will be the first Muslim mayor in the entire history of the Big Apple…
If elected this November, Mamdani, who was born in Uganda and is of Indian ancestry, would be the city’s first Muslim and first Asian American mayor.
Okay, so let’s assume for a moment that Mamdani actually wins the general election in November.
If that happens, it will be a major milestone for the progressive movement in this country.
Could it also make Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination for president in 2028?
Speculation is swirling about Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s plans for 2028 after she successfully endorsed dark-horse socialist Zohran Mamdani in the heated New York City Democratic mayoral primary.
Many observers believe the lefty “Squad” member will try to move up from her House seat — whether to the Senate or even the White House — in the aftermath of Mamdani’s stunning upset over ex-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo Tuesday night.
“It just continues to open more doors,” Corbin Trent, Ocasio-Cortez’s former spokesperson and author of America’s Undoing Substack, told The Post. “It just broadens her horizons.”
Even though the U.S. has been moving to the left for decades, I still don’t think that this country is ready for a socialist in the White House.
But I could be wrong.
Very few of the experts thought that Mamdani had a chance to win.
Now it is likely that he will be the next mayor of New York City.
We have allowed socialist ideology to be preached in our high schools, colleges and universities for a long time, and so we shouldn’t be surprised that large numbers of our young people are now socialists.
We are reaping what we have sown, and this is just the beginning.
Say it out loud. Say it with pride. Repeat after me…
The 2020 election was stolen.
I’ve known this for five years. You’ve known this for five years. I’ve said all along, the key to President Trump second term is PROVING it. That is what just happened. The evidence has been found. What happens next will change everything.
FBI Director Kash Patel has forwarded documents hidden by the FBI on a Chinese plot to steal the 2020 election by mass producing fake Voter ID, to allow fraudulent mail-in voting by illegal aliens- including Chinese nationals in the U.S.
So, let’s take this apart point by point…
First, why was the news of this plot, and the documents and testimonials, hidden by the FBI and DOJ? That alone tells the story. Why would you hide something, if it never happened? You’d only hide it, if it’s true and incriminating.
Second, why did the FBI Director, Attorney General and other government officials claim again and again that the election was 100% secure, and they knew of no attempts to steal the election? Why did they lie? You’d only lie if China stole the election, and you were part of the conspiracy.
Third, if this was merely a failed attempt by China to steal the election and it was stopped by the FBI, they wouldn’t have hidden it. They would have bragged endlessly about it. It would have been used to prove how great the FBI is…what a savior they are…how brilliant they are…how they saved the day…how government is always protecting us…and safeguarding our elections.
But none of that happened. Instead, the FBI hid the documents. And that tells you everything. It happened, and the FBI needed to cover it up. Because they were part of the steal.
The main culprit in this conspiracy was China and the CCP. This makes perfect sense. They had the most to gain by defeating President Trump- who was winning the trade war. Trillions of dollars were on the line. Economic dominance was on the line.
This was China’s chance to defeat and embarrass President Trump…to reverse Trump’s trade war victory…cripple America’s economy…and most importantly, leapfrog over America to become the world’s dominant superpower.
And of course, China and the Democrat Party were in this evil, wicked conspiracy together. Thick as thieves.
Stealing the 2020 election was tied to so many other conspiracies.
First, “Biden’s brain” (or lack thereof). In order to accomplish the steal, Democrats had to hide Biden’s deteriorating mental state. They used the excuse of Covid to hide Biden in his Delaware basement for the whole campaign.
Which brings up yet another conspiracy- the actual Covid pandemic.
Was the entire Covid pandemic intentionally released by China, in conspiracy with Democrats and Dr. Fauci, in order to steal the election? Fauci used your tax dollars to fund the Covid virus research- he literally paid to create Covid. Then Fauci lied and exaggerated repeatedly about the dangers of Covid. He literally made up the entire response to Covid- lockdowns, masks, social distancing. It was all fraud that paralyzed the nation and killed the Trump economy.
It made it easy to steal the election by distracting the American people, destroying Trump’s economy, scaring to death millions of voters, hiding their candidate (brain dead Joe Biden), changing the voting rules- thereby making it easy to commit voter fraud, making it easy for illegal aliens to vote, and making it easy to submit millions of fake ballots once the vote counting was stopped for the night in key battleground states.
Then of course, this stolen election allowed Democrats to control the economy, the budget, and all government contracts. Democrats then proceeded to loot the treasury.
They gave billions to green energy companies. Billions wasted on climate change. Billions given to Democrat voters with welfare, food stamps and a thousand other government programs. Billions given to NGOs and non-profits run by Stacey Abrams and George Soros.
But wait, there’s more.
The stolen election allowed Democrats to open the border- to carry out the intentional destruction of America. This is what allowed them to welcome in over 20 million illegal aliens- who would vote Democrat forever more. Which would turn America into a one-party socialist state.
The stolen election allowed Democrats to insert their social justice, DEI and transgender agenda into all aspects of our society- colleges, corporations, government, even the military.
The stolen election put Democrats in control of the “Censorship Industrial Complex”- allowing them to censor, silence, ban, demonize and persecute conservatives and critics of all kinds.
The stolen election allowed Democrats to weaponize government to persecute President Trump and his allies. They tried to bankrupt him, demonize him, and send Trump to prison for life.
With Trump out of the way, and MAGA voters demoralized, no Republican would ever win again, and therefore no one would ever investigate the stolen election.
Lastly, but perhaps most importantly, the stolen election allowed Biden and whoever controlled Biden (I’m guessing Obama and Soros) to mandate the Covid vaccine, thereby forcing millions of Americans to be vaccinated against their will. Then after the fact, they used the media to cover up all the deaths and injuries from the Covid vaccine disaster.
Why? Because everyone involved made hundreds of billions of dollars in bribes and stock profits. Including the media who carried out the cover-up to perfection.
Now it’s up to President Trump to name a Special Prosecutor to bring everyone involved in the stolen 2020 election, and the many crimes and conspiracies tied to it, to justice.
The Democrat brand will be poisoned and destroyed forever more.
And most importantly, we must put systems in place to ensure that no election can ever be stolen again.

For years, Democrats have sounded the alarm that Republicans are a threat to democracy. But when you peel back the rhetoric, it looks a lot like projection.
Senator Bernie Sanders (Vt) recently agreed that his own party has become a “threat to democracy.” In a recent interview, Sanders acknowledged that the Democratic primary process has been unfair since at least 2008. In 2016, the Democratic National Committee selected Hillary Clinton over Sanders, leading to allegations of a rigged primary. In 2020, despite a crowded field, the party quickly coalesced around Joe Biden, effectively shutting down competition. Then, in 2024, Vice President Kamala Harris was selected as the nominee without a primary.
While accusing Republicans of undermining democracy, Democrats in their controlled legislatures, judicial positions, media positions, and state offices have implemented systems and policies that undermine election integrity.
Former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell detailed in his column “The Greatest Electoral Heist in American History” how Democratic officials weakened, altered, and eliminated laws designed to preserve election integrity. He highlighted how Mark Zuckerberg funded a “charitable” organization working with Barack Obama’s senior advisor David Plouffe, pouring over $400 million into assisting officials in Democratic strongholds on how elections were to be conducted. The media, of which over 90% say they are Democrats, have set the bar for leftist propaganda and negativity toward anything conservative. Look at the lawfare.
Consider voter ID laws. As of 2025, 15 states do not require voter identification to cast a vote for president. These states account for 207 of the 270 electoral votes needed to secure the presidency. Notably, these states traditionally vote for Democratic presidential candidates.
Additionally, 27 states and the District of Columbia allow ballot drop boxes, with most of these voting Democratic. Mail-in and voter roll issues in states like Georgia, Arizona, and Washington, DC, during the 2020 election enabled Democrats to gain another 30 electoral votes. This brings the built-in electoral vote advantage to 288 of the 270 needed to elect a president. In contrast, 12 states specifically prohibit ballot drop boxes, and these states tend to vote or lean Republican.
Let’s connect the dots. The same Democrats who claim to be democracy’s last defense:
Refuse to hold real primaries
Gut election laws without legislative approval
Accept tech money to “train” partisan election worker
Eliminate voter ID
Maintain bloated voter rolls
Rely heavily on unsecured mail-in ballots and drop boxes
Control states that collectively exceed the 270 votes needed to win the presidency.
It’s no coincidence that states are essentially Democratic strongholds.
Proverbs 17:15 says, “He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord.”
It’s not democracy they’re defending—it’s power. Republicans, and Americans for that matter, allowing this charade is, say it with me…Stupidocrisy.
As with all modern presidencies, President Trump can enjoy greater comforts in his second term than in his first term, simply by no longer needing to posture for re-election.
This marks the first time in President Trump’s political career that he can ease off constantly viewing data estimating his favorability against other candidates, and his approval rating.
Still, President Trump’s approval rating bears significance, as it pertains to his legacy – which will be defined, in part, by the 2026 and 2028 election outcomes.
In the 2024 election, President Trump captured 49.8% of the popular vote, becoming only the second Republican since 1988 to win the popular vote.
49.8% of the popular vote in 2024 represented significant growth for President Trump – compared with President Trump’s alleged 46.8% of the popular vote in 2020, and President Trump’s 46.1% of the popular vote in 2016.
According to Real Clear Politics polling data, President Trump’s approval rating climbed to 50.5% on January 27, 2025.
At its core, Real Clear Politics can be distinguished as the sole, nonpartisan website to publish a near-daily political polling data aggregate. “RCP” combines dozens of well-known pollsters, averaging their data into one central figure.
On election day in 2024, RCP projected President Trump would win the presidency, carrying 287 electoral votes.
RCP fell short and did not accurately predict the electoral outcomes only in Michigan and Wisconsin, where its polling aggregate predicted President Trump would lose by less than 1% of the vote.
During the 2004 election, four years after RCP launched its website, “both the George W. Bush and John Kerry’s presidential campaigns acknowledged to reporters it was the best metric of where the race actually stood,” per The Washington Examiner.
Today, more than four months into his second presidential term, President Trump’s approval rating is holding steady, around 50%.
President Trump’s approval rating has not fallen below 45.2% during his second presidential term, per RCP.
Currently, President Trump’s approval rating stands at 47.5% – climbing, almost daily, over the last three weeks, per RCP.
By contrast, at this juncture in President Trump’s first term, his approval rating stood at only 39.9%.
Per RCP, President Trump’s first term approval rating hit a low of 37.0% on December 13, 2017, and hit a high of 47.3% on March 27, 2020.
On the contrary, Joe Biden exited his presidency with an approval rating of only 39.0% on January 20, 2025 – approaching Biden’s all-time low approval rating of 37.1% on July 18, 2022, per RCP.
Most notably, President Trump’s approval rating has trended about five percent higher, on average, in his second term, compared with his first term – indicating real growth and momentum for MAGA.
Moreover, nearly one decade since President Trump announced his first presidential candidacy, no statistical signs indicate that President Trump’s base of over 77 million supporters would consider abandoning him.
Make no mistake about it: The Democratic Party is facing an existential crisis that even their media allies can’t spin anymore. The New York Times, the crown jewel of the liberal media establishment, just published a devastating analysis showing how the Democrats’ supposed stronghold on American politics has crumbled under the MAGA movement.
While Democrats continue their tired routine of Trump-bashing and pretending to care about working Americans, the numbers tell a completely different story. The Times’ analysis reveals a political earthquake that’s reshaping the electoral landscape, and it’s not in the Democrats’ favor.
“All told, Mr. Trump has increased the Republican Party’s share of the presidential vote in each election he’s been on the ballot in close to half the counties in America — 1,433 in all,” the paper writes.
“It is a staggering political achievement, especially considering that Mr. Trump was defeated in the second of those three races, in 2020. By contrast, Democrats have steadily expanded their vote share in those three elections in only 57 of the nation’s 3,100-plus counties.”
In the 2024 election, six times as many counties shifted toward the GOP as toward the Democrats.
While 435 counties trended more Democratic compared to 2012, 2,678 moved more Republican—by an even larger average margin of 13.3 points versus 8.8 for Democrats.
That’s not just a loss; that’s a political bloodbath.
The Democrats’ problem?
They’re increasingly becoming the party of coastal elites and college-educated snobs.
Meanwhile, Trump has built an unstoppable coalition that includes working-class voters across all racial and ethnic backgrounds.
The New York Times didn’t sugarcoat the situation for the Democrats.
Counties that have become steadily more Republican exist in some of the country’s bluest strongholds, including New York City, Philadelphia and Honolulu. Mr. Trump’s party is still losing in those places, but by significantly less. At the same time, Mr. Trump has driven Republican margins to dizzying new heights in the nation’s reddest bastions.
In New York, 43 out of 62 counties shifted at least 10 points more Republican in 2024 compared to 2012, cutting the statewide Democratic margin in half. The only county to consistently trend Democratic was ultra-progressive Tompkins County, home to Ithaca. Meanwhile, even deep-blue and diverse areas like the Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn have trended Republican in multiple elections, alongside rural upstate counties like St. Lawrence and Lewis.
“We could be entering a world where the greatest predictor of voting behavior is no longer race,” Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-N.Y.) told the New York Times.
“Donald Trump’s greatest achievement — his greatest electoral achievement — lies not in breaking the blue wall in the industrial Midwest, but in beginning to break the blue walls in states like New York, and in counties like the Bronx.”
The Democrats’ old playbook is dead, and they know it.
Their own pollster Ben Tulchin admitted “the math doesn’t work” anymore.
While they’re stuck pandering to wealthy urbanites and pushing radical policies that normal Americans reject, Trump’s MAGA coalition keeps growing stronger.
The only thing that could derail this momentum is if Republicans get complacent or drop the ball.
On March 25th, President Trump signed Executive Order 14248, Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections. The Order outlined several requirements under federal law that must be upheld: ensuring only U.S. citizens can vote, compliance with the Voluntary Voting System Guidelines 2.0 (VVSG), upholding the requirement of the Elections Assistance Commission’s (EAC) certification of voting systems, and amending VVSG 2.0 to require a voter-verifiable ballot.
Expected legal challenges from Democrat Secretaries of State and non-governmental organizations have thus far netted mixed results. On April 24th, in the consolidated case League of United Latin American Citizens v. Executive Office of the President, US District Court Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly placed a temporary injunction on Sections 2(a) and 2(d), which requires citizenship proof in the national mail voter registration form and requires agencies to “assess citizenship prior to providing” a voter registration form to “enrollees of public assistance programs.”
The judge’s order let stand three sections that allowed unqualified voters to be identified and to restrict counting of ballots to those received on or before Election Day. All other sections remain in effect.
Section 4(b)(i) of the Order states that “the amended guidelines and other guidance shall provide that voting systems should not use a ballot in which a vote is contained within a barcode or quick-response code in the vote counting process…” This section will have severe consequences for several states such as Georgia, South Carolina, California, Nevada, Texas, Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, New Jersey, and more.
All of those states, in totality or in some part, utilize ballot marking devices (BMD) that store the voter record on either a QR code or a barcode. For example, according to Verified Voting, Texas only has 12.4% hand-marked paper ballots and 87.5% BMDs. California has 59.7% hand-marked versus 40.3% BMDs.
South Carolina, home to Senator Lindsey Graham, has 0% hand-marked paper ballots and 100% BMDs. Georgia, too, is 100% BMDs.
Even worse, Louisiana in its entirety and Nevada almost exclusively (95.6%) use Direct Recording Electronic systems (DRE) which don’t have any physical ballot, but print a paper receipt to ensure you your selections were correctly tabulated.
At least one state is scurrying to figure out how to deal with the Executive Order’s requirements.
Clinton W. Lancaster, an attorney who represented President Trump in the 2020 election challenge and sued Hunter Biden for child support, had reached out to the SOS’s Office to inquire as to how they planned to comply with President Trump’s order. When his inquiry was not answered, he sent a FOIA request.
In the responsive records, some of emails allude to chaos behind the scenes in Arkansas’s Office of the Secretary of State. A lobbyist for ES&S wrote the secretary and explained that they would need to purchase Ballot On Demand (BOD) printers from ES&S. ES&S has a patent on the paper required to use the ES&S tabulators, and only their BOD printer can properly print to that paper.
Kevin Niehaus, Chief of Staff for Secretary Cole Jester, says that he does not think the state can cover the costs of all the needed printers, indicating that the Secretary’s office does not have a sufficient budget appropriation from the recently adjourned 2025 Legislative Session to purchase the BOD printers.
To that, ESS’s lobbyist seemingly admits that there is no viable solution for compliance other than ESS’s proprietary and high-cost BOD printers and that it does not have any other certifiable solution in hand. He asks, “what should ESS be thinking in terms of compliance with the requirements.” The response is telling.
Niehaus says, “at this point I’m not entirely certain. I think we are looking at a paper ballot election in Arkansas next year because there doesn’t seem to be a viable solution from ES&S and nobody is excited about that, especially Cole.”
Georgia has yet to budge despite new state law
In the controversial swing state of Georgia, officials are dragging their feet to implement hand-marked paper ballots, as required in the Order. But Georgia is double-dipping in their defiance: the Georgia legislature passed Senate Bill 181 in May of 2024 that required QR codes no longer be used to tabulate votes.
Section 7 of SB181 reads:
The official tabulation count of any ballot scanner shall be based upon the text portion or the machine mark, provided that such mark clearly denotes the elector’s selection and does use a QR code, bar code, or similar coding, of such ballots and not any machine coding that may be printed on such ballots.
But just like the aftermath of Dr. J Alex Halderman’s explosive report and testimony in federal court detailing and demonstrating severe vulnerabilities in the state’s voting system while urging Georgia officials to at least perform security updates, Georgia election officials have ignored that advice, the law, and the executive order.
Rep Byron Donalds on “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo 4/27/25
Rep Byron Donalds was on “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo and discussed the chaos of the Democrat party.
“What’s going on to the Democrat party in Florida?” Bartiromo asked.
“The Democrats have no message, they have no leader. They really don’t know where to go,” Donalds said.
“Then you have the radical nature in their party, the anti-Semitism which you’ve already talked about. The fact that they have judges who are willing to stand up for illegal aliens over the American people. Their party is a mess. It is massively divided,” Donalds continued.
Rep Donalds explained that a lot of Democrat voters in Florida are leaving the Democrat party because of their radical agenda.
“What you are seeing here is Democrats in our State are saying enough is enough. They are either becoming Republicans or they are going independent,” Donalds said.
Bartiromo also asked Rep Donalds about the potential of the midterms and how it could change the political landscape for President Trump.
“You know if Hakeem Jeffries becomes the Speaker of the House, everything changes for President Trump,” Bartiromo said.
“I think it’s simple. Number one, you know we have a job to do in Washington getting the President’s agenda through,” Donalds said.
“Step two is reminding voters in our country that the Democrats don’t have a plan. They don’t even have a leader. What they have is outrage. What they have is anger,” Donalds continued.
From the moment Trump won the 2024 election, Democrats have done nothing but try to stand in his way. They think it’s still 2016 and they have no new ideas.
One new poll shows that voters are not buying the Dems’ old act anymore. Even in blue California.
Leaders are supposed to offer solutions and find compromises that get things done. Democrats offer nothing but outrage and protests and people are sick of it.
California voters have Trump-resistance fatigue, poll finds
California voters are less keen on fighting Donald Trump than their state’s political elite.
In a dual survey of California voters and political professionals who are driving the state’s agenda, the electorate is strikingly more likely to want a detente with the White House. Voters are also more divided on issues like immigration and climate change, where Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democratic state lawmakers have asserted progressive ambitions that rebuff the president’s agenda.
A plurality of voters is skeptical of legal immigration, and less than half think the state should be able to set its own strict standards on vehicle emissions, an authority California has used for more than half a century.
The results suggest a disconnect between the policymaking class and voters in an overwhelmingly blue state where Trump made broad inroads in 2024 amid widespread frustrations over crime and a prohibitively high cost of living. Registered Democrats, however — who comprise nearly half the electorate — are more enthusiastic about progressive policies and more eager to challenge Trump’s Washington.
This might reflect the recognition by voters — even in deep-blue California — of the intellectual and moral bankruptcy of La Résistance in either iteration. The first time around, Democrats launched their “resistance” on the false claim that Trump won office illegitimately through “Russia collusion.” Voters eventually discovered that was a lie, and those who paid attention now know that the lie came from Hillary Clinton’s dirty-tricks team and Barack Obama’s FBI.
This time around, there’s no question at all about legitimacy. Trump stomped Harris in the election and won both the popular vote and the Electoral College, the first GOP candidate to do so in 20 years.
Democrats are already enjoying a historically low approval rating. If they want it to sink even further, they should just keep doing what they’re doing.
“The whole art of government consists in the art of being honest. Only aim to do your duty, and mankind will give you credit where you fail.” —Thomas Jefferson (1775)
Senator Booker sets ersatz “filibuster” record: New Jersey Democrat Cory Booker’s record-breaking 25-hour, five-minute speech on the Senate floor that began at 7 p.m. Monday and ended Tuesday night was not the longest-ever Senate filibuster. That’s because a filibuster is defined as “obstructing legislative action, especially by prolonged speechmaking.” So while this was a long speech, it didn’t obstruct any legislative action. In fact, Booker wasn’t even protesting a Senate action; he just railed against the Trump administration. Ironically, the executive branch could operate just fine while one-half of the legislative branch was held thrall to Booker’s sleep-deprived raving. The only vote delayed by his theatrics was a Democrat-led bill to undo Trump’s tariffs on Canada. Booker doesn’t seem to have accomplished anything except win a few moments in the limelight, which, of course, was the point.
House proxy vote fight: Nine House Republicans joined with Democrats to vote against a measure that would have advanced a package of bills that included the No Rogue Rulings Act and the SAVE Act. At issue was a provision that blocked Rep. Anna Luna’s petition to allow proxy voting for members with newborns. Last week, the Freedom Caucus objected to a rules vote if it allowed Luna’s bill to come to the floor for a vote. Thus, using backroom dealing, Republican leadership included language in the procedural package that effectively killed Luna’s petition. Catching wind of the change, Luna rallied eight other Republicans to join with Democrats to derail the measure. While the vast majority of House Republicans oppose proxy voting, the manner in which Speaker Mike Johnson attempted to circumvent a vote caused consternation.
Border Patrol registers new record low: Across America’s 1,950-mile southern border, U.S. Border Patrol detected just 7,181 illegal crossers in March. That’s an average of 230 a day and fewer than one person per eight miles of border, constituting a new record low. “I started as a Border Patrol Agent in 1984, which was 41 years ago. I cannot recall a single month since then that the numbers have been that low,” observed Tom Homan, Donald Trump’s border czar. To put even more perspective on this, under the Biden administration, Border Patrol was seeing more illegal border crossings in a single day than in an entire month under Trump. Clearly, the message has gotten out that those who illegally enter the U.S. will be caught and deported. Joe Biden lied that he needed legislation. As Trump noted, “All we really needed was a new president.”
RFK begins mass layoffs at HHS: Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is cleaning up the Department of Health and Human Services, starting with a mass layoff. “The FDA as we’ve known it is finished,” one former Biden FDA commissioner said. If you’re a bureaucrat advocating big government, Tuesday was yet another apocalyptic day. A partial list of Kennedy’s job cuts: 3,500 at FDA, 2,400 at CDC, 1,200 at NIH, and 300 at CMS. Critics argue that this will set back American progress on the opioid epidemic and throw the mental healthcare system into disarray. After the last few years, however, one wonders how much worse the management of those issues could get.
Issa exposes Crockett’s judicial hypocrisy: During a House Oversight Committee hearing on Tuesday, Texas Democrat Jasmine Crockett, viewed by some as a rising star, blasted Republicans for filing articles of impeachment against U.S. District Judge James Boasberg over his despotic activism. Crockett accused Republicans of endangering the Rule of Law, claiming, “What it means to have law and order in this country is that you follow the order and you go through the appeals process even if you dislike what the judge did.” Committee Chair Darrell Issa (R-CA) was quick to set the record straight after noting that Crockett herself had cosponsored articles of impeachment against Supreme Court Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas. He said, “It does seem interesting that when the shoe is on the other foot, everyone is self-righteous!”
Court tosses charges against Mayor Adams: New York City Mayor Eric Adams pleaded not guilty to the accusations of bribery and fraud brought against him by Joe Biden’s Justice Department last September. He went further, calling the indictment a witch hunt inspired by his stance that illegal immigration was out of control. If so, the change in administration ended that witch hunt with the Trump DOJ ordering prosecutors to drop the case. Today, Manhattan Federal Court Judge Dale Ho ruled in favor of Adams by tossing the case. Adams has three months to campaign for reelection, but he’s been absent from the campaign trail so far and trails former Governor Andrew Cuomo in the polls.
Bondi seeks death penalty for United Healthcare assassin: Luigi Mangione is the man accused of assassinating United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson last December. Video of the event shows the assassin waiting for Thompson’s appearance, shooting him in the back, clearing a jam, and then firing at the prone Thompson as he attempted to crawl away. For that kind of calm, premeditated assassination, Attorney General Pam Bondi wants the death sentence as she seeks to fulfill “President Trump’s agenda to stop violent crime and Make America Safe Again.” Opponents of the death penalty will surely oppose this decision; the rest of us are left wondering: If this doesn’t deserve the death penalty, what does?
CA and CO go pro-trans: Two bills that aimed to preserve female spaces in schools and ban males from competing in girls’ and women’s sports were voted down by California’s Democrat-controlled legislature on Tuesday. The bills failed to proceed out of committee by a 2-7 party-line vote. Republican Assemblyman Bill Essayli responded, “Assembly Democrats are so committed to allowing biological boys into girls’ sports and locker rooms rather than protecting our daughters.” Meanwhile, Democrats in Colorado are pushing legislation that would make it a crime to “misgender” or “deadname” a person who identifies as “transgender” in public. Talk about a massive violation of the First Amendment protection of freedom of speech. Centennial State Democrats want to compel belief in a blatant lie by installing an anti-trans blasphemy law.

You win some, you lose some. That could be the takeaway from yesterday’s election results in Wisconsin and Florida. The legacy media will make hay over the results, trying to find some tea-leaf indicator for the future, but let’s face it — these were April elections in two states, albeit with relatively strong turnout. Nobody panic.
We’ll start with the bad news: Dane County Judge Susan Crawford defeated Waukesha County Judge Brad Schimel in the race to take a vacant seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, meaning the Left maintains its 4-3 majority. As I explained Monday, this election has huge repercussions for the Badger State with key issues, but also with the U.S. House given the state’s districting fight.
Arguably as important as the result itself, Donald Trump and Elon Musk went all in on Schimel’s behalf, and his defeat is theirs, as well. Trump won Wisconsin by 29,000 votes and almost a full percentage point in November (his narrowest margin), but yesterday’s election wasn’t close. Crawford won by 237,000 votes and 10 points. Ouch.
At nearly $99 million, it was by far the most expensive Wisconsin Supreme Court election in history. Democrats spent heavily to boost their preferred candidate because of the aforementioned consequences. Yet Musk spent heavily, too, using his America PAC to give away money directly to petition signers and millions more to promote Schimel. However, NBC News isn’t wrong to note, “Recent polls have shown Musk’s favorability ratings are lower than Trump’s, both in Wisconsin and nationally, so it makes sense that the pro-Crawford campaign would lean in on Musk in their messaging.”
Democrats, NBC says, may have “found a new electoral boogeyman in Musk.” Frankly, the hatred for Musk that has bled over to terrorism against Tesla is astounding. When deranged psychos target Tesla buyers and voters still turn out against him, that’s bad news.
“I never could have imagined that I’d be taking on the richest man in the world for justice in Wisconsin, and we won!” Crawford crowed last night in Madison.
Still, there’s good news in Wisconsin, too. Voters handily approved a constitutional amendment to require photo ID at the polls. And when I say “handily,” I mean by a 63-37 margin.
Democrats hate voter ID and have even tried in Congress to ban states from requiring it because it’s the number one election integrity measure. For that reason, the vast majority of voters, regardless of party affiliation, support it. Republicans should be pushing this in every state.
Down in Florida, special elections were held for two House seats to replace two Republicans Trump nominated to take roles in his administration. (Neither of those has worked out particularly well, by the way. Matt Gaetz flamed out before confirmation hearings to become attorney general, while National Security Advisor Michael Waltz was a central player in the Signal snafu episode.)
On Tuesday, Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis defeated Democrat Gay Valimont to take the District 1 seat vacated by Gaetz, and Republican state Senator Randy Fine beat Josh Weil to win Waltz’s District 6 seat. Both men pitched themselves as Trump allies, and with most votes counted, they each lead their Democrat opponents roughly 57-43. Of course, the Leftmedia is trumpeting the fact that Trump and the previous two Republicans won both heavily Republican districts by margins exceeding 30 points. Still, as in Wisconsin, Democrats spent heavily only to come up far short.
The result that matters is that Republicans will now have a 220-213 majority in the House, with two vacancies caused by recent Democrat deaths. They’ll need those votes to push through a measure to stave off major tax hikes on most Americans.
If there is a takeaway for Trump and Musk, it’s that they should work harder on the messaging behind their government efficiency project. Both men are former Democrats who have made it their mission to drain The Swamp. That will get even harder if they allow their message to be overwhelmed by Democrat money and media attention.

Dems focus on the Signal embarrassment: It’s hard to blame them because they have no accomplishments of their own to tout, but Democrats have had a field day with Team Trump’s Signal snafu. Rather than talking about freedom of navigation through the vital Red Sea shipping lanes and the administration’s precision strikes on the Houthi terrorists there — and what those strikes mean both for international trade and for the Houthis’ Iranian enablers — the sad-sack Democrats would rather obsess over a deeply embarrassing communications screwup among Trump’s senior national security team. Atlantic fabulist Jeffrey Goldberg was inadvertently included in the chat by a staffer of National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, who yesterday took “full responsibility.” Today, Goldberg released more communications as pushback against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s claim that the chat didn’t involve “war plans” with the Houthis. In any case, Trump’s team clearly trusts Signal more than it trusts the official deep state comms channels.
Trump diplomacy brokers Black Sea truce: In an incremental win for Donald Trump’s diplomacy and his efforts to end an awful three-year war, Ukraine and Russia have agreed to a Black Sea ceasefire, which, along with an energy infrastructure ceasefire, the administration hopes will be a stepping stone for a full ceasefire. “We’ve seen the first of many steps going forward,” said U.S. envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg. “President Trump made the comment that this is going to be hard — it is when you’ve had two nations at war for over three years with this degree of death and destruction.” The sea-based ceasefire is a good place to start, Kellogg said, calling it “low-hanging fruit” because it doesn’t involve the complexity of cities, troops, or long-range missile strikes.
SCOTUS upholds “ghost gun” regs: The U.S. Supreme Court has issued its decision on the Biden administration’s rule that severely limits Americans’ ability to obtain gun parts online to assemble their own firearms. The root issue was whether the ATF had the authority to issue such a sweeping regulation defining and regulating so-called “ghost guns.” In a 7-2 ruling this morning, the justices upheld the new regulation by pointing to the federal Gun Control Act that grants the government this power. As Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote, the law “embraces and thus permits ATF to regulate some weapon parts kits.” Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito dissented from the majority, with Thomas contending that the Court “blesses the government’s overreach based on a series of errors.”
Senate confirmations: On Tuesday, the Senate voted to confirm two more of Donald Trump’s nominees. Dr. Jay Bhattacharya was confirmed by a party-line vote of 53-47 to become the new director of the National Institutes of Health. Bhattacharya, a physician and professor of health and economics at Stanford University, was an early critic of massive lockdowns in response to the COVID pandemic, as well as vaccine mandates. He was the lead author of the Great Barrington Declaration, which advised a targeted approach to COVID that allowed the less vulnerable majority to develop natural immunity. Also confirmed by a 56-44 vote was Dr. Marty Makary, a surgeon from Johns Hopkins University, to head the Food and Drug Administration. Makary expressed a desire to find innovative solutions to lower drug prices. Both men are outsiders to the Washington bureaucracy.
Pandemic drawdown: In September 2022, Joe Biden declared that “the [COVID] pandemic is over,” but it wasn’t until May 2023 that his administration finally rescinded the national emergency that Donald Trump first initiated in March 2020. Yet it wasn’t until yesterday that the CDC finally pulled back some $11.4 billion in pandemic-related funding from states, nongovernmental organizations, and international groups — almost a full two years after the pandemic was declared officially over. Of course, whenever government spending on a temporary program is ended, you can count on objections.
Postmaster general flees a sinking ship: Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, who resigned this week, took office during the COVID lockdowns and started a 10-year reform plan to overhaul the United States Postal Service. Judging by the fact that the USPS lost $9.5 billion in fiscal year 2024, there’s still a long way to go. Deputy Postmaster General Doug Tulino will take DeJoy’s place until a successor is named. Donald Trump and Elon Musk have been discussing privatizing the USPS, which is established in the Constitution, or merging it with the Department of Commerce. Democrats predictably rallied to defend the institution. After all, they’ve never seen a money pit they didn’t like. But in the age of email, cellphones, and texting, how necessary is the Postal Service?
Public media gets hauled before House DOGE subcommittee: Like a hardy perennial, House Republicans are again pushing for woefully biased NPR and PBS to justify the continued siphoning of taxpayer funds to staff monocultural newsrooms and broadcast inarguably left-of-center programming. PBS, for example, receives funding in part from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which gets roughly $500 million a year from Congress. Today, NPR CEO Katherine Maher and PBS CEO Paula Kerger will testify before the House’s newly formed Delivering on Government Efficiency subcommittee, which is chaired by GOP firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene. “Everything is at stake,” said Kerger. “The future of a number of our stations across the country will be in jeopardy if this funding is not continued.” If only. This defunding game has historically been akin to a Republican Charlie Brown trying to kick the NPR/PBS football.
Planned Parenthood grants to be curbed: On Tuesday, Donald Trump commented on potentially pursuing criminal charges against the nation’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, over allegations of its involvement in the illicit trafficking of organs from aborted babies. “We’ll look into everything, but that’s certainly a subject that’s been debated for a long time, and we will look into it,” Trump explained. His administration also disclosed it would be freezing tens of millions in federal funds to the abortion provider as it probes whether Planned Parenthood used the money to promote DEI efforts. Democrat Senator Patty Murray expressed outrage, claiming that the Trump administration was “cutting off very basic and lifesaving health care.” Except, of course, for aborted babies.
Jasmine Crockett: call to violence or call for attention? Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett is quickly rising to be the top black female voice in the Democrat Party, which might be good news for Democrats if she weren’t such a liability. On Monday, she called paralyzed and wheelchair-bound Texas Governor Greg Abbot “Governor Hot Wheels.” That crass comment is rightly garnering quite a bit of blowback for Crockett, though this is hardly the first time she’s let her tongue run away with her. A video clip surfaced Monday in which she says that Senator Ted Cruz “has to be knocked over the head, like hard, right?” Is that a call to violence? As for Abbot, he remarked, “[The Democrats] have nothing to sell but hate, and Americans are not buying it.” Well said, Governor.
GSA majorly scales back must-sell gov’t properties: The General Services Administration had until recently listed 443 federally owned properties it deemed “non-core” and “obsolete and unsuitable” for government use and, therefore, to be sold off. Well, the GSA has now trimmed the list of properties it originally compiled during the Biden administration down to a total of just eight. The original list included more than 40 properties in Washington, DC, but now, not a single building in the district makes the list. Why the drastic change? The GSA gave no reason other than a decision “to use a more incremental approach focusing on a shorter list of assets that have already been evaluated.” Furthermore, the GSA noted that the list would continue to be updated.
World Athletics institutes sports integrity: Better late than never. World Athletics, the international track and field governing body, has announced that it will introduce cheek swabs and dry blood-spot tests for female athletes in order to confirm that they’re not sporting any “Y” chromosomes and thereby maintain “the integrity of competition.” According to World Athletics President Sebastian Coe, who was once the world’s foremost miler, “It’s important to do it” because then we’re “not just talking about the integrity of female women’s sport, but actually guaranteeing it.” The timing of the new policy is unclear, but Coe said that the athletes will only have to undergo a single test during their careers. And sexually deviant male athletes will no longer have a fallback plan for athletic excellence.

If anyone in America knows how the integrity of an election can affect the results, it’s Donald Trump. He infamously lost the 2020 election arguably because of Democrat shenanigans. Defining what Democrats did has proven trickier, but that doesn’t mean they were telling the truth when repeatedly calling it the “most secure in history.”
Trump signed an executive order yesterday on elections, titled “Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections.” “Free, fair, and honest elections unmarred by fraud, errors, or suspicion are fundamental to maintaining our constitutional Republic,” the order rightly notes. “The right of American citizens to have their votes properly counted and tabulated, without illegal dilution, is vital to determining the rightful winner of an election.”
The order requires some key things to secure our elections: States must verify voters’ citizenship with one of any number of documents before said voters cast a ballot, and states must not count mail-in ballots received after Election Day. The enforcement mechanism is money — states will lose federal funding if they don’t comply.
The first thing you might ask is about a president’s authority here. Article I, Section 4 of the Constitution says, “The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.”
There’s nothing there about the president. Trump’s order, therefore, may be intended to provoke a court challenge and spur action by Congress or the states. Congressional Democrats have worked in the opposite direction, aiming for several years to supersede state election laws by prohibiting voter IDs and generally slackening efforts to achieve election integrity. HR 1 and its Senate companion would codify Democrat election chicanery, handing them an enduring advantage nationwide.
As for Trump’s order, let’s start with noncitizens. According to The Wall Street Journal’s news desk, “Trump and his fellow Republicans have repeated misleading claims that large numbers of noncitizens have voted in U.S. elections. It is illegal for noncitizens to vote in federal elections, and states have layers of protection to verify that voters casting ballots are eligible. Studies by groups across the political spectrum have found no evidence of ineligible immigrants ever voting in sufficient numbers to affect an election outcome.”
Legacy media outlets always do this: Noncitizen voting is no big deal because it’s illegal, and you can’t prove it happens very often. Well, the correct number of noncitizens voting is zero, but that’s not the reality. Making something illegal doesn’t end its occurrence. This just in.
In fact, noncitizens have successfully cast ballots in several states. Whether that’s determinative is irrelevant. Every ballot cast illegally counteracts one cast legally by a U.S. citizen.
Another problem is that some states do little or nothing to stop the issue. California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Washington, DC, do not require any form of identification to vote. How does anyone know who cast those ballots? Not counting noncitizen votes is not the same thing as noncitizens not voting.
Next, consider mail-in ballots. As we, led by Mark Alexander, have argued often and loudly, mail-in ballots do more damage to election integrity than any other single issue. In 2020, some 65 million ballots were cast by mail. As Alexander notes, “In nine states and DC, bulk-mail ballots are now mailed to the last known addresses of all ‘registered’ voters.” Those states make laughably pathetic efforts to verify mail-in votes.
Mail-in ballots are not supposed to be but can be — and likely are — filled out by someone other than the registered voter. Heck, one in five mail-in voters admitted to fraud in 2020. Do Leftmedia shills think that doesn’t change outcomes?
The other aspect here is the national embarrassment of Election Season replacing Election Day. Numerous states somehow cannot report full results for many days because they’re slowly counting mail-in ballots, sometimes including those that arrive as much as a week after Election Day. At a minimum, this creates distrust in the results. Worse, it can yield fraudulent results.
In short, Trump’s order is common sense, and it requires only that states follow either laws already on the books or change their practices and standards to match more rigorous ones. Trump will be sued — he always gets sued. He may even lose on presidential authority, but winning the legal case may also not be his end goal. Winning the broader argument that elections should be conducted by citizens in person on Election Day is the ideal objective.

“Every dumb thing my political enemies do is a major and embarrassing screw up. Every dumb thing my political team does is 7D chess and you just aren’t smart enough to appreciate its genius.” —Erick Erickson
ON THIS DAY in 1953, Dr. Jonas Salk announced that he had developed and tested a polio vaccine. To prove the success, he and his own family received the vaccination. Before long, childhood polio cases dropped significantly, and by the turn of the century, polio was virtually eliminated from the world.

The French political establishment is following in the footsteps of other European parties by trying to ban their conservative opposition from office.
Marine Le Pen, the leader of France’s National Rally and the current frontrunner to become the country’s next president, may be banned from holding public office for five years and even imprisoned if she is convicted in a politically-motivated embezzelement trial.
The 56-year-old has accused left-wing prosecutors of seeking her “political death” by requesting an instant five-year public office ban, a punishment that she says would be “completely disproportionate” for her alleged crimes.
According to prosecutors, Le Pen and several members of her National Rally party misused European Parliament funds between 2004 and 2016.
DEMOCRACY? The EU is desperate to keep conservatives out of power across Europe. Their latest effort is to ban the leading French presidential candidate, Marine Le Pen, from office for five years and to jail her for a campaign finance violation. pic.twitter.com/uaTtsdI3jB
They claim that Le Pen and others paid party staffers with around $600,000 in European Union money under the false pretense that they were working as parliamentary assistants.
She has denied any and all wrongdoing.
If convicted, she may also face a prison sentence of up to 10 years, although it would likely be substantially shorter than this.
Should she also be barred from office, Le Pen would be forced to pass the mantel to another, perhaps less experienced and recognized member of her National Rally party.
Le Pen would also not be the first European politician to be banned from office.
Earlier this month, courts in Romania shamelessly blocked the right-wing, anti-globalist candidate Calin Georgescu from running in May’s presidential election.
This move came months after Georgescu topped the poll in the first round of the country’s presidential election, a result that so shocked the establishment that they cancelled the election and rescheduled it for May.
Meanwhile, politicians in Germany have repeatedly considered banning the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party on the false premise that they are far-right extremists.
Despite the attempts to smear their reputation, AfD won 20 percent of the vote in the country’s recent elections on their platform opposing mass immigration.
And as Americans will never forget, Democrats and the deep state desperately tried to get Donald Trump off the ballot through an aggressive lawfare campaign.
Thanks to President Trump, Democrats will have a more challenging time stealing elections from Republican candidates in general elections.
As TGP readers know, the last three elections (from 2020-2024) were ridden by rampant examples of election fraud perpetrated by the Democratic Party. In addition to Trump, several conservative candidates have alleged the fraud was so massive it cost them winnable elections.
Back in August of last year, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton got honest about the Democrat Party’s attempts to steal the US elections in 2020 and 2024. He also expects Democrats will again attempt election fraud on a massive level – that has been planned by the federal government and organized for years.
Trump has consistently promised and called for action to stop the Democrat vote-rigging machine. These include proof of citizenship, voter ID, single-day voting, and paper ballots.
On Wednesday, he decided to take action and signed an executive order in the White House to help secure our elections.

🚨 POTUS signs an executive order on election integrity that includes the following provisions:
– Requires documentary, government-issued proof of U.S. citizenship on its voter registration forms. – Conditions federal election-related funds on states complying with the integrity… pic.twitter.com/6A5zVdOAYn
Here are the six provisions as outlined by the Trump White House:
• Requires documentary, government-issued proof of U.S. citizenship on its voter registration forms. • Conditions federal election-related funds on states complying with the integrity measures set forth by Federal law. • Directs the updating of the Voluntary Voting System Guidelines 2.0 and security standards for voting equipment — which includes requiring a voter-verifiable paper ballot record and not using ballots in which the counted vote is contained within a barcode or QR code. • Directs the Attorney General to enter into information-sharing agreements with state election officials to identify cases of election fraud or other election law violations. • Takes appropriate action against states that count ballots received after Election Day in Federal elections. • Revokes Biden Executive Order 14019, which turned Federal agencies into Democratic voter turnout centers.
While more needs to be done (especially Congress codifying this executive order), we should see more timely counting from states like California, fewer illegals voting, and a somewhat hampered Democrat political machine. This is good news going into the critical 2026 midterms.
Ever since the 2024 election, the Democrats have been embroiled in a crisis. They have no message, no leader, and no strategy. As we have seen in recent weeks, all they have to offer the American people at the moment is rage and protests.
Some people in media have acknowledged that the Democrats have a problem, but it’s far worse than anyone is admitting.
The big picture: Democrats’ dismal reality is not Republican spin. In fact, there’s broad consensus among Democratic leaders that most current political, cultural, media and generational trends are cutting against them.
– “Democrats are losing working-class voters,” Klein, co-author with Derek Thompson of the new liberal blueprint “Abundance,” said last week. “They’re seeing their margins among nonwhite voters erode and vanish. They’re losing young voters. Something is wrong in the Democratic Party.”…
By the numbers: A deep, comprehensive poll by Democratic pollster David Shor of Blue Rose Research captured vividly and empirically the daunting data…
Shor estimates a 23-point swing against Democrats among immigrants. The swing is very pronounced among Hispanics who consider themselves conservatives: Democratic support dropped by 50%.
– But it’s the rise of conservatism among young people, mainly men, that spooks him most. “[Y]oung voters — regardless of race and gender — have become more Republican,” Shor writes in his 33-slide presentation.
The thing he’s been most shocked by over the last four years, Shor told Klein: “[Y]oung people have gone from being the most progressive generation since the Baby Boomers, and maybe even in some ways more so, to becoming potentially the most conservative generation that we’ve experienced maybe in 50 to 60 years.”

Everything the Democrats are doing is just making their problems worse. They’re not offering ideas, alternatives, or solutions. They have nothing left but blind rage.
