Watch: The 5 Best Quotes from Rubio’s Blunt, Truth-Packed Speech at the Munich Security Conference | The Gateway Pundit

Secretary of State Marco Rubio dropped some epic truth bombs while speaking at the Munich Security Conference, where he urged Europe to work with the United States to preserve Western civilization.

During his sobering speech delivered on Saturday, Rubio outlined the following points:

  1. The U.S. and Europe are brothers who must join forces to save Western culture, which has been responsible for advancing human civilization.
  2. Christianity is the foundation of Western civilization, and the U.S. and Europe must defend it together.
  3. The sham leftist notion of a “borderless society” has been a recipe for disaster that has destabilized the West.
  4. The U.S. and Europe must reject white guilt by not allowing their nations to devolve into dumping grounds for third-world migrants.
  5. Unfettered mass migration is destroying Western nations and erasing Western culture.

Rubio reminded Europe of its long shared history with the United States, and how they forged Western civilization — and indeed, human civilization.

“We are part of one civilization — Western civilization,” Rubio said.

“We are bound to one another by the deepest bonds that nations could share, forged by centuries of shared history, Christian faith, culture, heritage, language, ancestry, and the sacrifices our forefathers made together for the common civilization to which we have fallen heir,” the chief diplomat added.

“We are connected spiritually and we are connected culturally,” he underscored.

Christianity is responsible for so much of what we think of today as “civilized society” in the West.

It played a fundamental role in creating or popularizing:

-hospitals
-modern science
-human rights
-universities

Rubio said uncontrolled mass migration has wreaked unimaginable havoc across Europe and the United States.

“In a pursuit of a world without borders, we opened our doors to an unprecedented wave of mass migration that threatens the cohesion of our societies, the continuity of our culture, and the future of our people,” he said.

“Mass migration is not, was not, isn’t some fringe concern of little consequence. It was and continues to be a crisis which is transforming and destabilizing societies all across the West.”

In urging Europe and the U.S. to “gain control of our national borders,” Rubio said not securing borders is a subversion of national sovereignty and an existential danger to public safety.

“Controlling who and how many people enter our countries, this is not an expression of xenophobia. It is not hate,” Rubio noted.

“It is a fundamental act of national sovereignty. And the failure to do so is not just an abdication of one of our most basic duties owed to our people. It is an urgent threat to the fabric of our societies and the survival of our civilization itself.”

Rubio then urged Europe and the U.S. to reject the toxic white guilt underpinning their decline.

“We do not want our allies to be shackled by guilt and shame,” he said. “We want allies who are proud of their culture and of their heritage.”

“And this is why we do not want allies to rationalize the broken status quo rather than reckon with what is necessary to fix it, for we in America have no interest in being polite and orderly caretakers of the West’s managed decline,” Rubio said.

The chief diplomat then renewed his call for Europe to join the U.S. in remaining stewards of Western culture and to propel it to even greater heights.

“The alliance that we want is one that is not paralyzed into inaction by fear — fear of climate change, fear of war, fear of technology,” he said.

“Instead, we want an alliance that boldly races into the future.”

Rubio continued, “We want to do it together with you, with a Europe that is proud of its heritage and of its history; with a Europe that has the spirit of creation of liberty that sent ships out into uncharted seas and birthed our civilization; with a Europe that has the means to defend itself and the will to survive.”

Some Champion European Politicians to Be Aware Of | CultureWatch

These important leaders are going against the flow:

While most Western nations have gone down the tubes real fast, with woke wonders in government, the media, and the key institutions, some have managed to buck the trend and say no to the passing madness. Consider some key  in this regard.

Some are heads of state, while others are politicians fighting the good fight. Some are well known, while others are not – at least not so far. Some are younger and some are older. Some are Christians and some are not. Here are six of them that are worth noting:

Nigel Farage

The leader of Reform UK is going from strength to strength in the polls, and it seems every time another local election is held, his party is leading the pack, with Labour and even the Conservatives trailing far behind. If all this continues, he will be a shoo-in for the next federal election in six months’ time.

Farage of course is remembered for his work in bringing about Brexit back in 2016. See one of my articles on this here: https://billmuehlenberg.com/2016/06/24/brexit-the-fallout/

He continues to resist the mass importation of those not willing to assimilate into Britain. Indeed, just today he sent a letter to the British Home Secretary about Starmer letting in a well-known Islamist radical. He said in part:

I am writing to you to express my deep concern about the recent return of British-Egyptian activist Alaa Abd el-Fattah to the United Kingdom following his detention in Egypt. On Friday, the Prime Minister expressed his “delight” at el-Fattah’s return, claiming his case had been a “top priority” for the government, and thanked President el-Sisi for his pardon.

Given Mr el-Fattah’s history of vile public declarations on social media, this was an extraordinary error of judgment. For example, in 2010 he wrote, “I consider killing any colonialists and especially [sic] Zionists heroic, we need to kill more of them.” That same year he referred to the British as “dogs and monkeys”. The following year he suggested that “police are not human, they don’t have rights, we should just kill them all”, and has also tweeted in support of suicide bombings….

It should go without saying that anyone who possesses racist and anti-British views such as those of Mr el-Fattah should not be allowed into the UK. As Home Secretary, it is within your power to revoke his citizenship and order his deportation. I strongly urge you to do so.

Giorgia Meloni

The 48-year-old has been Prime Minister of Italy since 2022. I wrote up this champion back then: https://billmuehlenberg.com/2022/09/27/giorgia-meloni-and-hope-for-italy/

She proudly says, “We defend God, country, and family”. During the 2024 Paris Olympics when men were allowed to beat up women, she said this: “I think that athletes who have male genetic characteristics should not be admitted to women’s competitions … from my point of view it was not an even contest.”

She keeps on standing up for Christian values. Earlier this year she said this in a powerful speech: “No to LGBTQ lobbies, no to Islamist violence, no to mass migration! The WEST needs to Wake up!” She has refused to recognise Palestine as a sovereign state and has far more guts and principle than Starmer, Macron, and most other  leaders combined. As one write-up about her states:

Giorgia Meloni’s recent statement has sparked intense global debate, thrusting Italy into the center of international attention. In a direct and unapologetic speech, the Italian prime minister rejected what she described as the LGBT lobby, condemned Islamic violence, and opposed mass immigration. In simple terms, Meloni drew firm red lines on culture, national security, and border control.

Unlike previous leaders who often softened their language, this stance was clear and assertive, signaling a decisive shift in tone and policy direction. The statement carries significant implications, as it could influence future laws, social policy, and Italy’s long-term trajectory. Analysts suggest these positions may lead to stricter immigration measures and tougher national security policies. Early reactions indicate strong domestic support, alongside sharp criticism from international organizations and advocacy groups.

Viktor Orbán

Hungary’s 61-year-old prime minister is a champion of faith, family and freedom. Back in 2018 I said this about him:

Under his recent leadership he has steered the country in a nationalist, pro-family direction, cracking down on easy immigration, Islam, and the globalist crusade. In all this he stands strongly against the agenda of another famous Hungarian: George Soros. We can see his strong emphasis on faith and nation clearly laid out in a speech he gave a week ago…. https://billmuehlenberg.com/2018/08/04/hungary-and-orban-hope-for-the-west/

One recent post about him stated this:

Viktor Orbán made it official: “The mother is a woman, the father is a man. Leave our children alone! Period.” The Prime Minister of Hungary banned LGBT propaganda in schools, stating that the education of children belongs to the parents, not to ideologies. A decision that shakes Europe and challenges the progressive agenda. While many governments give in, Hungary sets boundaries. He also isn’t taking in so called “immigrants” who will eventually take over his country and its culture!

Former UK Prime Minister Liz Truss said this about him and some other leaders when discussing today’s Democrats:

We’re not facing ordinary social democrats who simply want higher taxes and more government spending. We’re dealing with people whose goal is the destruction of Western civilization itself. You can’t negotiate with that. And this is what Donald Trump understands—perhaps better than anyone else in the Western world. Others have confronted the deep state in their own countries—leaders like Viktor Orbán, Bukele, or Milei—but Trump, to me, provides the clearest playbook for how to respond.

Geert Wilders

Geert is a Dutch politician who founded and has led the Party for Freedom since 2006. He has long spoken out against unchecked immigration, Islam and the EU. The 62-year-old told his story in the 2012 book, Marked for Death. As he said there:

Today, for the third time in history, Islam is waging an offensive to conquer Europe. For the first time, however, it is threatening the continent from within. The doctrine of immigration is Islam’s Trojan horse, paving the way for jihad. From the inside, Islam is now eating its way out while many Westerners look on helplessly. https://billmuehlenberg.com/2012/06/23/a-review-of-marked-for-death-by-geert-wilders/

He has long been under 24/7 protection, and just recently he was reported to have been targeted by a Belgium terror plot:

Three young men were arrested in Belgium on Thursday after investigators discovered a homemade explosive which the suspects were reportedly planning to attach to a drone to carry out the attack. Prosecutors said the police raids were part of an investigation into “attempted terrorist murder and participation in the activities of a terrorist group.” They didn’t identify the politicians who might have been targeted, but Belgian government ministers identified Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever as one target.

Wilders had cancelled an appearance at an election debate with other political leaders following the reports. Later, he posted on X that the Dutch National Coordinator for Counter-Terrorism and Safety (NCTV) confirmed to him he was one of the targets of the suspected plot. https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/2025/10/11/dutch-far-right-geert-wilder-suspends-campaign-activities-after-report-of-belgian-terror-c

Ebba Busch

Sweden’s Deputy Prime Minister is Ebba Busch. The 38-year-old has been standing strong of late in defending her country over against the mass migration of those who refuse to accept the beliefs and culture of Sweden. As she said earlier this year: “Israel is doing good for the entire world when it tries to neutralize Hamas and dismantle it.”

And she also said this: “Islam must adapt to Swedish values. Muslims who do not integrate must leave the country. Honor killings, beheadings, stoning of women, and Sharia law have no place here in Sweden.”

One report said this:

Sweden’s Deputy Prime Minister, Ebba Busch, has drawn significant attention after making remarks suggesting that Islam and its followers must adapt to Swedish values in order to be welcome in the country. In simpler terms, she argues that anyone living in Sweden should accept core national principles and cultural expectations. Her comments stand out for being direct and uncompromising, going further than typical discussions about integration.

This issue is important because it connects religion, migration, and national identity. Supporters believe that setting clear expectations helps social cohesion and stability, while critics argue that such comments could stigmatize Muslim communities, deepen division, and escalate political tension. Many observers see the debate as part of a much larger European discussion on immigration, cultural adaptation, and social identity.

Afroditi Latinopoulou

At just 34 years of age, the conservative Greek politician is leader of the Voice of Reason party. She was elected as a Member of the European Parliament in 2024. One Greek news site says this about her:

Her Thracian heritage, strong family ties to the Church, and upbringing in rural Greece have deeply shaped Afroditi Latinopoulou’s political values. Drawing from her diverse background in sports, law, and politics, she emphasizes principles such as religion, family, and national identity. She positions herself as a defender of traditional values within the contemporary euroskeptic political landscape. https://greekcitytimes.com/2025/08/24/afroditi-latinopoulou-origins-family-tennis-politics/

M. A. Rothman recently said this about her:

Greek Member of the European Parliament Afroditi Latinopoulou didn’t mince words: ‘It’s unrecognizable. Europe has been filled with men who hate us in the name of Allah.’

She calls illegal immigration a well-orchestrated business – enriching organizers while hollowing out nations.

Her claim: Europe is being deliberately Islamised, with Germany and France leading the pressure campaign while frontline countries absorb the consequences.

And she doesn’t talk in euphemisms.

She talks about cities turning into ghettos.

She talks about taxpayers footing the bill.

She talks about rape and killing committed in the name of Allah.

Her proposed solutions are blunt:

-No benefits for illegal entrants

-No asylum for border violators

-Arrest and deportation

-Stop subsidized housing

She points to Hungary and Poland as the model — nations that treat border violations as exactly that: violations.

As she said in a CPAC Hungary speech in Budapest back in May:

Hungary is fortunate to have a visionary leader, Viktor Orbán, who is guiding the nation on the path of virtue and freedom. A leader who did not hesitate to confront the EU elite to protect his country. That is why today you see a Hungary that is clean, without ghettos, without [the] woke agenda. You see a Hungary being Hungarian. Hungary chose sovereignty, and did so with courage. It’s sent a powerful message: The definition of who we are is ours to give. And in Europe, we need more Orbáns and fewer Macrons. https://www.hungarianconservative.com/articles/culture_society/afroditi-latinopoulou-we-need-more-orbans-fewer-macrons/

With these six (and a number of others that could be named), there may yet be hope for Europe – the most secular, woke and godless continent on the planet. If these champs can stand strong for family and faith and love of country – rightly understood – and work against the globalist bureaucrats in Brussels and Geneva, then perhaps we can see Europe return to what made it great: its Judeo-Christian roots.

Cry The Beloved Europe? | ZeroHedge

Authored by Victor Davis Hanson via American Greatness,

Nothing bothers the European elite as much as American conservatives praising the European foundations of their shared, but threatened, Western civilization.

especially resent having their social-welfare state system critiqued by upstart, crass Americans.

Their pique only increases as they push back against the condescending American idea that the U.S. could possibly offer any constructive advice, much less help a more civilized Europe follow the “American model.”

Americans, in turn, are worried that Europe is not just stagnating but is on a trajectory of permanent decline—with dire consequences for the entire Western world.

As for symptoms, the U.S. cites a steadily declining European share of world GDP. It points to Europe’s unsustainable 1.39 fertility rate, which ensures a steadily smaller, older, and costlier native population.

More than ten percent of Europe’s resident population is now foreign-born—some 45 million people. However, the European host, unlike a classless America, does not have a long tradition of melting-pot assimilation, integration, and acculturation.

Unlike America’s mostly Christian-nation immigration patterns, European immigrants are predominantly from the Middle East and North Africa, Islamic, and increasingly anti-Western.

Far too many of Europe’s immigrants profess too little desire to assimilate into what they consider a culturally decadent place—one that, ironically, they have no desire to leave.

The Christian Church, the linchpin of Western civilization, was born in Europe. Yet nowhere do atheism, agnosticism, and open hostility to Christendom grow stronger.

Europe, the birthplace of a dynamic Western military tradition, has been, by contemporary standards and at least until recently, virtually disarmed and unable to protect its own borders or interests.

Europe’s overregulation and war on fossil fuels, combined with a generous social welfare state, have resulted in too little revenue and too many costly dependents.

Americans dare to lecture Europe because the same Western pathologies—open borders, unassimilated immigrants, tribalism, declining fertility, green fanaticism, unsustainable budget deficits, and massive national debt—are likewise beginning to threaten America.

But unlike Europe, millions of Americans at the eleventh hour are galvanizing to stop their own insidious downward spiral.

So Americans claim to know firsthand the causes for these shared, but even more distressing, European symptoms of decay.

And their answers are the threats of several dangerous ideologies.

One pathology is green fanaticism, which has led Europeans to not only ignore their fossil fuel resources but also to dismantle existing coal, nuclear, and natural gas plants.

That suicidal folly ensured that transportation fuels and electrical power became so exorbitant that once sought-after European exports are now uncompetitive, while Europe’s strapped middle classes slip into poverty.

Meanwhile, China funds green causes in the West, exports below-cost cheap wind and solar systems, and then builds three coal or nuclear plants a month to ensure that it has much cheaper energy than the green West.

Other existential threats are diversity/equity/inclusion mandates—a precivilizational emphasis on tribal affinities of race and religion rather than shared national values and unity. The results are legions of drone DEI commissars who sow disunity, spike racial tensions, wage war on meritocracy, and increase overhead.

America further warns Europe that only cutbacks in unsustainable entitlements can allow it to reboot its militaries enough to prevent Russian bullying and threats of attack, protect supply lines of imported fuels and natural resources, and deter terrorists.

And what happens if a petulant and snarky Europe utterly rejects the American diagnosis, therapy, and prognosis?

America will decide that it can no longer afford, as NATO’s leader, to protect European borders when it struggles at home to ensure its own.

Nor can the U.S. understand an increasingly two-faced Europe.

One of its faces is the self-righteous 27-member European Union that is becoming increasingly anti-American.

The EU attacks the U.S. nonstop on matters of culture, energy, trade, censorship, and foreign policy.

Yet nearly the same nations of a 32-member NATO alliance—Europe’s other face—praise America for its military leadership and call for closer U.S.-European strategic relations.

This one-eyed Jack policy of censoring and fining American companies, blasting American allies at the United Nations, and belittling conservative, Christian, and traditional American culture, while praising the U.S. military and courting its armed assistance, is simply not sustainable.

Is there a solution? Perhaps, given that both civilizations are offering diametrically opposed correctives to their shared morbidities.

Europe is only growing more socialist, censorious, globalist, pacifist, multicultural, atheistic, and green.

In contrast, the U.S. is undergoing a counter-revolution toward smaller government, fewer regulations, more fossil fuels, an expanding military, less DEI and woke, more secure borders, legal-only immigration, and renewed faith.

Only one of these competing solutions will solve the shared crisis of Western civilization.

And let us hope the one remedy that works will be fully adopted by both.

US National Security Strategy Aims To ‘Reestablish Strategic Stability With Russia’, Calls Out Europeans ‘in Minority Governments’ With Unrealistic Expectations for the War | The Gateway Pundit

Putin and Trump: stability in the relationship between the Nuclear superpowers is a priority.

The New US National Security Strategy that has just been released, in what President Donald J, Trump calls an effort to ‘build upon the extraordinary strides we have made’.

“This document is a roadmap to ensure that America remains the greatest and most successful nation in human history, and the home of freedom on earth.”

The document deals with Security Strategy principles and its application all over the world.

“President Trump’s foreign policy is pragmatic without being ‘pragmatist’, realistic without being ‘realist’, principled without being ‘idealistic’, muscular without being ‘hawkish’, and restrained without being ‘dovish’. It is not grounded in traditional, political ideology. It is motivated above all by what works for America—or, in two words, ‘America First’.”

False friends and obstacles to peace: Poland’s Tusk, UK’s Starmer, Ukraine’s Zelebsky, France’s Macron, and Germany’s Merz.

One chapter deals with ‘Promoting European Greatness’, and its honesty is stunning.

To begin with, it clarifies that the European problems are not only in terms of insufficient military spending and economic stagnation.

The real danger, worse than their losing share of global GDP, is the prospect of civilizational erasure.

“The larger issues facing Europe include activities of the European Union and other transnational bodies that undermine political liberty and sovereignty, migration policies that are transforming the continent and creating strife, censorship of free speech and suppression of political opposition, cratering birthrates, and loss of national identities and self-confidence.”

Illegal migrants – mostly men of fighting age – flood Europe and deface the continent.

Unless these trends are reversed, the old continent will be unrecognizable in 20 years or less, and therefore not a reliable ally anymore.

We want Europe to remain European, to regain its civilizational self-confidence, and to abandon its failed focus on regulatory suffocation.

One important aspect of this is the relationship with Russia, and the fact that many Europeans regard Russia as an existential threat.

Managing European relations with Russia will require significant U.S. diplomatic engagement, both to reestablish conditions of strategic stability across the Eurasian landmass, and to mitigate the risk of conflict between Russia and European states.”

A quick end of hostilities in Ukraine is essential to the US, to ‘stabilize European economies, prevent unintended escalation or expansion of the war, and reestablish strategic stability with Russia’ – and that’s NOT a minor point.

Close-up of two men in profile, engaged in a serious conversation against a red background, highlighting their intense expressions and contrasting appearances.
Ending the war fast is of paramount importance for the US.

And the Euro-Globalists working against the peace process are called out.

“The Trump Administration finds itself at odds with European officials who hold unrealistic expectations for the war perched in unstable minority governments, many of which trample on basic principles of democracy to suppress opposition.”

This criticism fits well the unpopular failing governments of UK’s Keir Starmer, France’s Emmanuel Macron, Germany’s Friedrich Merz and other Euro-Globalists.

But, the document recognizes, ‘a large European majority wants peace’.

European states are currently unable to reform themselves as they are trapped in perpetual political crisis.

And one great stipulation: ‘the growing influence of patriotic European parties indeed gives cause for great optimism.

While working to help Europe correct its current trajectory, it’s important to be aware that certain NATO members will soon become majority non-European.

They will no longer be those who signed the NATO charter.

Five Guys Now Offering 50-Year Burger Financing | Babylon Bee

Image for article: Five Guys Now Offering 50-Year Burger Financing

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Inspired by the Trump White House’s move toward 50-year mortgages, popular burger chain Five Guys announced it would be addressing the ongoing “Five Guys Affordability Crisis” with convenient 50-year burger financing.

“We get it. Things are expensive, especially our burgers,” the company said in a public press release. “But new burger financing options make our menu more accessible to the average consumer than ever. Sign up for 10-year, 30-year, or even 50-year financing options. No credit check required!”

Economists urged customers not to sign up for Five Guys’ burger financing program, warning that the interest alone will amount to $10,000. “It doesn’t hurt as much up front, but this is really just a price hike disguised as a discount,” warned economic expert Paul Krugman.

Five Guys CEO Jerry Murrell, the first of the five guys, dismissed concerns that he was conning consumers and argued that their burger financing options adhere to the Wimpy code. “J. Wellington Wimpy from ‘Popeye’ simply wanted to pay people Tuesday for a hamburger today,” Murrell explained. “This is the same principle. We’ll gladly give you a burger today, and you can gradually pay it off for the rest of your life.”

Despite expert concerns, however, customers were already flocking to Five Guys, with diners slowly realizing that the typical person doesn’t buy one burger over the course of their life, they buy several hundred.

“One burger costs a lot if you pay for it all at once, but I can spread that cost out over several decades,” said local burger consumer Tony Hart. “But that’s the future’s problem. I’ll let my grandkids deal with it.”

At publishing time, Five Guys opened a new division within their company seeking full-time repo men to handle customers who fall behind on their burger payments.

Germany Admits Trump Was Right on Borders After Taking in One Million Syrian Refugees | The Gateway Pundit

Crowd of refugees gathered near a bus at a border facility, with a smiling man in a suit in the foreground, representing migration and humanitarian issues.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz moves to tighten refugee policy as camps across Germany remain overcrowded. (wikimedia)

Germany’s Chancellor Friedrich Merz has announced that his government will begin sending Syrian refugees back home, declaring that Syria’s civil war has ended and that there are “no longer grounds for asylum.”

Under pressure from the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD), Merz is now adopting a tougher stance on immigration—one that bears remarkable similarity to the policies already in place under President Donald Trump.

Roughly one million Syrians live in Germany today, most of whom arrived after former Chancellor Angela Merkel’s 2015 decision to open Germany’s borders.

That policy changed Europe forever. It brought a wave of migration that overburdened welfare programs, strained hospitals and schools, and helped fuel the rise of the AfD.

Now, Merz is trying to undo Merkel’s legacy by working with Syria’s new government to return refugees—starting with those convicted of crimes.

This shift mirrors what the Trump administration has already done in the United States.

Since returning to office, President Trump has expanded border wall construction and signed new asylum agreements with Latin American nations to prevent the same border collapse Europe suffered a decade ago.

Illegal crossings have dropped to 0 in 2025, proving that strict enforcement and diplomacy—not open borders—restore stability.

Germany’s decision shows how Trump’s worldview is reshaping global policy.

Even in Europe, where leaders once mocked his approach, governments are recognizing that mass migration erodes national identity and drains public resources.

The same European elites who once lectured Washington on “humanitarian responsibility” are now admitting Trump was right: a nation that cannot control its borders cannot control its future.

For Germany, the political reality is clear. Polls show the AfD leading in parts of eastern Germany, driven by voters tired of paying for asylum programs that were never meant to be permanent.

Many residents in regions like Saxony and Thuringia feel that the government’s focus on resettling refugees has come at the expense of domestic needs—especially as energy prices, housing shortages, and inflation strain local budgets.

This growing resentment reflects deeper frustrations with Berlin’s immigration policies, which most say have prioritized political image over economic stability and border security.

For many voters, the AfD’s rise signals a demand for tighter migration controls and stronger national sovereignty.

Merz’s deportation plan is not a humanitarian betrayal—it is an overdue correction.

Europe’s open-border era is collapsing under its own weight, and Germany’s move marks the beginning of a continental shift toward sovereignty and law.

President Trump’s America has led that movement from the start.

While European leaders are only beginning to repair their migration crises, Trump has already proven that compassion does not require chaos.

The world is catching up to his vision—one built on security, responsibility, and the unshakable principle that borders matter.

France In Flames As The ‘Block Everything’ Protest Movement Sweeps The Country | ZeroHedge

Authored by Rick Moran via PJMedia.com,

France and its hapless President Emmanuel Macron are in deep trouble…

On Monday, Macron’s government failed to survive a “no-confidence” vote as the country spiraled into crisis. What’s most worrying for Macron is that the vote wasn’t even close. Prime Minister François Bayrou was dumped overwhelmingly in a 364-194 vote. At issue: Bayrou’s sensible but unpopular notion that France had to cut spending to address a growing debt crisis.

“Sensible” and “socialism” don’t ordinarily go hand in hand. Thus, in office only since December, Bayrou was given an unceremonious heave-ho.

Macron turned to an old ally to replace Bayrou. He named departing defense minister Sébastien Lecornu to be the fourth prime minister of Macron’s government this year.

Lecornu is the only minister to have been in every government since 2017. He has his work cut out for him. He has to pass a budget by year’s end and deal with a growing protest movement that will fight tooth and nail to prevent Macron’s “austerity budget” from passing.

Macron gambled and called for a “snap” election last year, hoping to increase his slim parliamentary majority. It failed miserably when the populists and the far left made significant gains. Now, the streets are full of angry Frenchmen, and the nation’s stability is in question.

NBC News:

Protesters set fires as they blocked highways and gas stations across France early Wednesday as part of a new nationwide movement. Authorities deployed 80,000 police, who made hundreds of arrests and fired tear gas to disperse crowds.

The “Block Everything” movement was born online over the summer in far-right circles, but spread on social media and was co-opted by left-wing, antifascist and anarchist groups. It now includes France’s far-left parties and the country’s powerful labor unions.

Their joint day of unrest adds to the country’s political turmoil, after the collapse of centrist President Emmanuel Macron’s government earlier this week in a similar backlash over proposed budget cuts and broader anger at the political class.

The far left, the largest bloc in parliament, wants Macron’s scalp. Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the longtime leader of the far-left party France Unbowed, said, “Only the departure of Macron himself can put an end to this sad comedy of contempt for Parliament, voters and political decency.”

Jordan Bardella, the president of the populist National Rally, said his party would give Lecornu the benefit of the doubt and refuse to join the far left in attempting to oust him. But Bardella wasn’t enamored of Lecornu.

“Emmanuel Macron’s motto: you don’t change a losing team,” Bardella wrote on social media. “How could a loyal supporter of the President break with the policy he has been pursuing for eight years?”

In the capital Paris, groups gathered and set up barricades at several entry points to the city. Demonstrations were expected to continue throughout the day, with travel disrupted as some of the main transport unions joined the strike.

Hundreds remained gathered outside Gare du Nord, one of the city’s main train stations, despite earlier attempts from police to disperse the crowds with tear gas.

“We are here, even if Macron doesn’t want us, we are here,” they chanted.

There were dramatic scenes outside a high school in eastern Paris, where police clashed with dozens of students who had blocked entry to the building.

French political observers believe it’s only a matter of time before Macron will be forced to call for another snap election. This would please both the left and the right, who believe they can gain a majority in parliament. The result of another snap election will probably be the same as the last: a hung parliament and more unrest in the streets.

Europe Is A Powder Keg | ZeroHedge

Authored by J.B.Shurk via AmericanThinker.com,

Americans who don’t spend time in Europe might not fully appreciate what a powder keg the Old World has become.

However bad social relations in the United States now are, they are at least an order of magnitude worse on the other side of the Atlantic.  European self-hatred is dissolving traditional cultural bonds.  Mass immigration is compounding age-old rivalries.

Europe is one spark away from exploding.

Europe is a perennial battlefield.  Many of our ancestors, after all, left the old country to escape religious, economic, and cultural conflicts that had endured for centuries.  Those historic grievances — always simmering in times of peace before boiling over into outright violence — are passed from one generation to the next.  Modern European nations are the product of two thousand years of shifting borders and alliances, and native Europeans trace their family lineages back to regional tribes whose ancient territories do not fit neatly within the politically drawn maps of today.

If you think geographical accents in America make it tricky for a Mississippian or Minnesotan to communicate effectively with an English-speaker from the Bronx, consider that Europe is home to nearly three hundred native tongues.  Switzerland has four national languages — including Romansch, which derives from the spoken Latin of the Roman Empire.  The cornucopia of indigenous languages, dialects, vocabularies, and accents makes it possible for local residents of small towns to recognize “outsiders” immediately.  Even more impressively, they can usually tell — just by listening — which towns a stranger’s grandparents once called home.

Two world wars — both ignited in Europe and responsible for immense European destruction — propelled a mid-twentieth-century political movement calling for the eradication of national borders.  The European intelligentsia who became the founding members of the continent’s fledgling transnational bureaucracy blamed national pride for Europe’s carnage and effectively turned “nationalism” into a dirty word.

Oddly, this was also a time when crumbling empires, such as France and the United Kingdom, were at least tepidly supporting the national independence of former colonies.  Likewise, it was the beginning of a half-century U.S.-led campaign to encourage national revolutions in European countries stuck behind the Soviet Union’s Iron Curtain.  So Western power brokers framed nationalism as a kind of intolerable ethos on par with Mussolini’s fascism and Hitler’s national socialism while encouraging former nations or proto-nations in Central Europe, Africa, and Asia to break away from the respective empires that controlled them.  While Western leaders pushed for the integration of distinct European nations into a single “Union,” they also promoted national independence movements under the rationale that all humans possess a natural right to self-determination.

In the eighty years since the project for European integration began in earnest, those latent contradictions have transformed Europe into a tinderbox with even greater potential energy for self-destruction than existed before WWI and II.  While the bureaucratic ruling class has actively repressed the historic identities of native Europeans, it has flooded the continent with foreigners who are encouraged to retain their own cultural identities.  In this way, a Hungarian or Pole or Dane who celebrates his country’s unique heritage is denounced as a “far-right nationalist,” while a Frenchman who insists that African and Middle Eastern immigrants assimilate to the European way of life is denounced as a “racist” and “bigot.”

This anti-European monstrosity was created deliberately.  Simultaneous suppression of Europeans’ national identities and protections for foreign nationals create a kind of “multiculturalism dynamo” that converts Europeans into something alien.  Stripped of their native religion, culture, and historic customs and forced to praise foreign religions, cultures, and customs taking hold in the West’s civilizational void, Europeans are effectively assimilated within their own lands.  Europeans are taught to despise their own civilization and to bow down before those who seek to replicate a foreign civilization inside Europe.  Europe’s bureaucratic ruling class uses foreigners to beat the Europeanness out of Europeans.

In the United Kingdom, a grassroots movement of ordinary Brits has initiated “Operation: Raise the Colors.”  The strategy is simple: British citizens are encouraged to prominently display and wave the Cross of St. George and Union Jack flags.

What could possibly be offensive or dangerous about raising the flags of England and the United Kingdom?  Nothing.

Yet the globalist Establishment is losing its collective mind.  Leftists insist that the flags should be replaced with something more “multicultural” and that only “far-right racists” would stoop so low as to patriotically raise the country’s flags.  Open-borders politicians are calling the flag-waving “extremist,” “hate-filled,” and “white supremacist.”  In other words, the British people have forced Britain’s “elites” to acknowledge that they have no loyalty to and only antipathy for the United Kingdom.

This rather anodyne form of political speech is proving remarkably effective at exposing globalism’s suicidal contagion.  In London, it is perfectly normal to see so-called “gay pride” flags, “Palestinian” flags, Pakistani flags, Iranian flags, and the flags of almost every third-world nation now offloading its citizens onto the shores of the U.K.  If a British citizen were to express outrage over the fact that a panoply of foreign flags is flown brazenly throughout the capital, constables would intimidate the outspoken “offender” into silence by threatening him with prosecution for imaginary “hate speech.”  Revealingly, however, these same petty tyrants throw hissy fits when native Brits dare “raise the colors” of their own nation’s historic flags.

Similar movements are picking up steam.  Ten years ago, it was more common to see such patriotic displays on the streets of Balkan nations or amid independence parades in the Basque region or other areas of Europe seeking national recognition.  Today it is easy to stumble into a sea of Dutch, Danish, German, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Hungarian, Polish, Czech, or Greek flags when crossing borders.  Eighty years after the European Union began constructing its continental empire, the “colonies” appear eager to reclaim their right to self-determination.

I think it’s fair to say that ordinary Europeans are no longer willing to remain quiet as the bureaucratic ruling class kills what’s left of Europe and hands the carcass to foreign conquerors.  As an American with absolute fidelity to the millennia-long promises of Western civilization, I find these patriotic revivals timely rebuttals to a globalist Establishment that prefers our death.

I cannot tell you how many times I have come across the words of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas translated into one of Europe’s many native languages.  “Do not go gentle into that good night” and “Rage, rage against the dying of the light” show up on message boards like faint heartbeats on an EKG machine.  Many in Europe don’t want to die.  To live, they’ll have to fight.

THE RIGHT STUFF: With German AfD Party Topping Opinion Poll for the First Time, Now Right-Wingers Lead Voter Preference in the UK, France and Germany in Historic Shift | The Gateway Pundit

France’s Marine Le Pen, Germany’s Alice Weidel, and UK’s Nigel Rafage: the rightwing advances.

Voters across Europe are thinking right.

The winds of change have been blowing across Europe with such force that even the Brussels Globalist establishment has failed to curb the populist right’s stunning growth.

Yesterday (12), a new opinion poll has shown that this process is in full swing, as the rightwing Alternative for Germany (AfD) has become the most popular party in the country.

Politico reported:

“If a national election were now held, 26 percent of Germans would vote for the AfD, according to a poll carried out by the Forsa Institute for Social Research and Statistical Analysis. That result puts the far-right party ahead of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s mainstream conservative bloc, which slid to second with 24 percent support in the poll.

With the far-right National Rally already leading clearly in France, the bombshell German survey is likely to fuel unease among mainstream leaders across Europe. Right-wing populist parties have performed strongly in elections in recent years from Poland to Romania, and Portugal to the Netherlands.”

Weidel says Merz is expanding on the losing policies by the ‘traffic light coalition’ led by failed former Chanceller Olaf Scholz.
The AfD party (in blue) has taken the lead in Germany.

“Forsa’s poll also indicated that, as Merz focuses on foreign policy issues like the war in Ukraine and Europe’s relationship with the U.S. under President Donald Trump, he’s in growing political trouble at home. A majority of Germans are dissatisfied with Merz’s chancellorship, with 67 percent saying they are “not happy” with his performance after 100 days in office, according to the survey.”

For the very first time in contemporary history, populist rightwing parties are leading the polls in Europe’s three largest economies: Germany, France and Britain.

NBC reported, always using smears such as ‘far-right’:

“This is a high watermark for the European far right, a once fringe movement whose virulently anti-immigration, anti-Islam and culture-war politics were shunned by the mainstream just a decade ago. Today, these parties have developed deep ties with President Donald Trump and his Republican allies, who openly cite nationalists such as Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán as inspirations on policy and tactics.

For years, France’s National Rally has consistently led polls ahead of the country’s next presidential election in 2027. And Britain’s Reform U.K., led by Trump ally and friend Nigel Farage, has since April topped most polls there.

Far-right parties have been elected over the past few years into the governments of Italy, Hungary and elsewhere. The center right and the center left have hemorrhaged votes amid high inflation, fears over immigration and collapsing faith in institutions — all familiar issues in America, too.”

Hungary, Dutch Leaders Warns Of Islamization of Europe | Worthy News

By Stefan J. Bos, Worthy News Europe Bureau Chief, reporting from Budapest, Hungary

BUDAPEST (Worthy News) – A series of meetings in Poland and Hungary of CPAC, America’s largest conservative conference, has ended with Dutch anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders warning of the Islamization of Europe.

Geert Wilders leader of Party for Freedom (PVV)

Geert Wilders leader of Party for Freedom (PVV)

Wilders, whose Party for Freedom (PVV) became the largest political force 18 months ago, said the “Dutch are by nature a welcoming nation, but too many fake refugees who do not want to respect the indigenous culture and customs entered the country.”

He said Friday his fiercely pro-Israel party seeks to close the border for more asylum seekers, using the Dutch army to stop family reunifications for asylum seekers, who are mainly from Muslim nations.

He pledged that the PVV, the largest in a four-party coalition, wants “to return 60,000 refugees to Syria” as well as other “criminal foreigners.”

The politician added, “I walk the streets of Europe; they look like medieval streets full of burqas and hijabs. People feel strangers in their own homes.”

Wilders, who has faced numerous Islamic death threats and lives in secret locations with his Hungarian wife, referred to this year’s 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands after World War II, saying the center of the port city of Rotterdam was taken over by screaming Muslim Imams.

Their followers, he said, “were waving Al-Qaeda terrorist flags and were calling for the extermination of Israel. At the same time, Dutch flags were entirely absent, while Palestinian flags were all over the town’s neighborhoods.”

NOT EVERYONE EXTREMIST

However, “Not every Muslim is an extremist, most are not,” he stressed, “but too many of them are eager to stamp their mark of intolerance and conquest on our society.”

His remarks were applauded by delegates at CPAC, short for Conservative Political Action Conference, including populists and what critics view as far-right leaders such as

They heard that the Muslim population is to triple from 5 percent to 15 percent by the middle of the century in European nations such as the Netherlands. “But I do not want Islam to rise. Islam and freedom are incompatible,” Wilders said.

“Polls show that 60 percent of Dutch citizens believe that Islam does not belong to our society”, which is based on Judeo-Christian traditions, he added.

Wilders’ remarks were music to the ears of his ally and friend, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who opened the gathering. Orbán, seen by critics as a right-wing authoritarian leader, spoke to an audience that also included Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement influencers and others with similar views.

Inspired by MAGA, launched by U.S. President Donald J. Trump, Orbán played a key role in establishing the Patriots for Europe, now the third-largest grouping in the European Parliament.

Orbán has said he wants to “Make Europe Great Again” by “defending its Judeo-Christian traditions.”

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán

PRAISING PRESIDENT TRUMP

He praised President Trump’s first 100 days after returning to the Oval Office. “The Trump tsunami swept through the entire world,” Orbán told CPAC. “It gave hope back to the world. We are no longer suffocating in the woke sea.”

Before the Hungarian leader’s speech, Trump praised the gathering and Orbán in a video message from the White House.

“You know how I feel about Hungary, and you know how I feel about CPAC. I respect and love them both. I also want to pay special regard to the leader of Hungary, Viktor Orbán. He’s a great man and a very special person.”

Not everyone shares his enthusiasm: Rights groups and European Union leaders say Orbán has used his rightwing Fidesz party’s supermajority in the Hungarian parliament to “undermine” the independence of the judiciary, “crack down” on independent media, “demonize migrants” and “discriminate against LGBTQ+ people.”

Orbán denied wrongdoing and called those criticizing him a “threat to Hungary’s sovereignty.”

Orbán’s political ally Alice Weidel, chair of Germany’s Alternative for Germany (AfD) Party agreed, claiming that the media and political elites “fear us like no other party — with good reason.”

She accused the German domestic intelligence service of spying on her party, which authorities have accused of being extremist and far-right but which has been endorsed by U.S. Vice President J.D.Vance.

POLISH ELECTION CANDIDATE

At CPAC Hungary, Orbán also expressed support for Polish nationalist presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki in Sunday’s runoff in Poland, where a smaller CPAC gathering was held earlier in the week.

Additionally, Orbán revealed a plan” that he said should “transform” the European Union. “We want to take Europe back from migrants. We want a Christian culture, schools based on national principles,” Orbán said in his speech without elaborating.

He again rejected European Union membership for Ukraine, added he opposed joint European taxation or borrowing, and reiterated his stance on protecting national sovereignty.

To carry out his self-declared plan he needs allies including in Poland and therefore said: “Long live Nawrocki.”

In the latest polls, Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski, the candidate from Poland’s ruling Civic Coalition (KO), was leading Nawrocki ahead of the vote.

He also embraced a nationalist presidential candidate in Romania’s recent elections, George Simion, despite his poor track record in treating the country’s ethnic Hungarian minority. Simion lost the ballot.

Orbán also welcomed former Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis as a speaker at CPAC and endorsed the populist politician ahead of parliamentary elections scheduledfor early October.

TOUGH RACE AHEAD

Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico, another Orbán friend, also spoke at CPAC.

Sceptics said Orbán needs allies for his plan to bring Europe back to its Judeo-Christian roots and stay in power.

Orbán faces his toughest election challenge since he swept to power in 2010, with a new center-right Tisza party, named after Hungary’s second-largest river, leading in the polls.

Additionally, a growing number of EU nations want to suspend Hungary’s voting rights in the bloc, in a so-called “Article 7” procedure, amid the rule of law and corruption.

Orbán has called the charges politically motivated.

Germany Is On The Brink Of National Suicide | ZeroHedge

Via VigilantFox.com,

Victor Davis Hanson opened with a warning… and it wasn’t subtle…

This week, Germany’s only major right-wing opposition party, Alternative for Germany (AfD), was officially labeled an “extremist” group by the country’s domestic intelligence agency, the BfV.

The designation sent shockwaves through the political landscape.

AfD immediately challenged it in court, prompting the agency to suspend enforcement while litigation proceeds.

But the damage, Hanson said, has already been done.

This move, he argued, wasn’t about public safety—it was about political control.

“Recently, the German government announced that it is going to label or maybe relabel the Alternative for Deutschland,” Hanson explained.

“The conservative party that has an antithetical agenda both to the German government of both liberal and conservative factions, but also to the EU in general.”

He said the classification ensures AfD will remain on the outside of political power, regardless of how many people support them.

“It will cement this aura that no government under their parliamentary democracy system will ask them to join to form a majority government,” Hanson said.

“So the process of ostracism and demonization of this party continues.”

And for what? The real issue, he said, is that AfD simply offers a different vision.

“The party is advocating an alternative for the way that Germany is going.”

So where is Germany going?

Hanson painted a bleak picture—of economic decline, energy failure, and political denial.

“If you look at what has become of Germany,” he said, “it has had two years of essentially no growth or negative growth.”

He noted the country finally reached its long-delayed NATO defense spending goal, pledging 2% of GDP—something it was supposed to do back in 2014.

But the milestone felt more like a bare-minimum box-check than a serious turning point.

“It just barely did it,” Hanson said.

Meanwhile, Germany has doubled down on green energy while dismantling its nuclear infrastructure, despite the country’s climate not being suited for solar reliance.

The results have been catastrophic.

German electricity costs are now roughly four times higher than those in the United States.

And that’s not just hitting households—it’s pushing away manufacturers and investors who can no longer justify doing business in the country.

“You can see what that’s going to do to German investment,” Hanson warned.

The problems aren’t limited to energy and economics.

Hanson pointed to a deeper crisis—one that strikes at the heart of Germany’s identity.

Open borders and mass migration, largely from the Middle East, has dramatically reshaped the population.

And according to Hanson, the consequences are both cultural and existential.

He estimated that 16 to 18 percent of Germany’s population wasn’t born in the country and has not assimilated.

“These are refugees—or I don’t think they’re refugees,” he said.

“They’re illegal immigrants from the volatile Middle East. Most of them are Muslim. Most of them do not have an intention of assimilating, intermarrying, and integrating fully in German society.”

The government’s refusal to address this, he said, has allowed a demographic transformation to unfold without public debate or accountability.

And that’s a far cry from the Germany that once held Europe together.

“For years, Germany was the powerhouse, the cohesive economic power that kept the EU together,” Hanson recalled. “It’s very tragic.”

Even the German military—a former pillar of NATO—is now little more than a shell.

“During the Cold War, it fielded one of the best NATO armies… well over 400,000 troops,” he said.

“It’s almost literally disarmed.”

In a functioning democracy, Hanson argued, this kind of failure would trigger a national reckoning.

There would be debate. Conflict. Reform. Politicians and citizens would argue over energy, borders, military policy, and economic growth. They’d hash it out—then find consensus.

Germany would close its borders. Demand full assimilation. Return to reliable energy. And reassert itself on the global stage.

That’s what you’d expect in a healthy system.

But instead of debating those solutions, the one party calling for them is silenced.

“They would do all of that,” Hanson said. “But instead, when one party is advocating much of what I just talked about, they demonize it because it’s out of the norm.”

Then came the most chilling line of all:

“And the norm, unfortunately in Germany today, is national suicide.”

For Hanson, this isn’t just a German issue.

The collapse of a once-great Western democracy—economically, militarily, and culturally—will have ripple effects far beyond Europe.

“Unfortunately, this is not going to end well for Germany,” he concluded.

“And it’s not going to end well for us. We need a powerful, friendly Germany and we wish it well.”

“But the reaction to needed reform—economic, political, social, cultural, military, diplomatic—is not to essentially ban a political party’s freedom of expression. That shows weakness and fear rather than confidence in the future.”

French Establishment May Imprison and Ban Opposition Leader Marine Le Pen From Office — Where Have We Seen This Before? | The Gateway Pundit

Screenshot: BBC Newsnight

The French political establishment is following in the footsteps of other European parties by trying to ban their conservative opposition from office.

Marine Le Pen, the leader of France’s National Rally and the current frontrunner to become the country’s next president, may be banned from holding public office for five years and even imprisoned if she is convicted in a politically-motivated embezzelement trial.

The 56-year-old has accused left-wing prosecutors of seeking her “political death” by requesting an instant five-year public office ban, a punishment that she says would be “completely disproportionate” for her alleged crimes.

According to prosecutors, Le Pen and several members of her National Rally party misused European Parliament funds between 2004 and 2016.

They claim that Le Pen and others paid party staffers with around $600,000 in European Union money under the false pretense that they were working as parliamentary assistants.

She has denied any and all wrongdoing.

If convicted, she may also face a prison sentence of up to 10 years, although it would likely be substantially shorter than this.

Should she also be barred from office, Le Pen would be forced to pass the mantel to another, perhaps less experienced and recognized member of her National Rally party.

Le Pen would also not be the first European politician to be banned from office.

Earlier this month, courts in Romania shamelessly blocked the right-wing, anti-globalist candidate Calin Georgescu from running in May’s presidential election.

This move came months after Georgescu topped the poll in the first round of the country’s presidential election, a result that so shocked the establishment that they cancelled the election and rescheduled it for May.

Meanwhile, politicians in Germany have repeatedly considered banning the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party on the false premise that they are far-right extremists.

Despite the attempts to smear their reputation, AfD won 20 percent of the vote in the country’s recent elections on their platform opposing mass immigration.

And as Americans will never forget, Democrats and the deep state desperately tried to get Donald Trump off the ballot through an aggressive lawfare campaign.

The rest, of course, is history.

The ‘Trump Tornado’ Hits Europe as Right-wing Parties Surge and Elites Struggle to Stop Them | CBN

It was clear from Vice President JD Vance’s speech to NATO allies in Munich last week that at least politically, Western Europe and the United States under Donald Trump are moving away from each other.

Vance took European leaders to task over rampant state-supported censorship in many European nations.

“The threat that I worry the most about vis-a-vis Europe is not Russia, it’s not China…what I worry about is the threat from within; the retreat of Europe from some of its most fundamental values, values shared with the United States of America,” the Vice President said.

And while Vance simply defended free speech, some of the liberal European elites in his audience saw it as giving aid and comfort to their political enemies on the European Right.

Those parties are becoming a major force. In Germany on Sunday, the right-wing party, AfD, Alternative for Germany is expected to finish second in national elections. Their rise has been fueled by an economic crisis and disastrous open borders policy which led to last week’s Munich car attack by a 24-year-old Afghan asylum seeker, killing a mother and her 2-year-old daughter while injuring at least 37.

Regardless of how well AfD does in the vote count, Germany’s other parties have vowed to keep it out of any coalition government.

This comes after Romania annulled its presidential election when a right-wing candidate won the vote.

Vance addressed the issue of European elites trying to keep right-wing parties out of power.

“We shouldn’t be afraid of our people, even when they express views that disagree with their leadership,” Vance said. “If you are running in fear of your own voters, there is nothing America can do for you. Nor, for that matter, is there anything that you can do for the American people that elected me and elected President Trump.”

A seismic political shift was already under way in many West European nations. Now, with the reelection of Donald Trump, the movement has become even more energized.

What one European leader calls ‘The Trump Tornado’ has struck Europe.

“The elites, they’ve been shaken up by the election of Trump. They really feel that, you know, they’re next,” says Frank Furedi, executive director of the think tank MCC Brussels. “A lot of people are demanding that they be heard, they’re looking for a voice. There is a growing sense that the old mainstream parties have lost the trust and the connection with the public.”

Many British and European citizens feel they have become poorer and less free. Eurozone growth has stagnated under climate change regulations, and the average E.U. nation would now qualify as one of the poorest states in the U.S

Germany, once among the world’s strongest economies, is now ‘de-industrializing‘ to meet radical green energy goals; what the Wall Street Journal has called the “World’s Dumbest Energy Policy.”

German economist and Journalist Sabine Beppler-Spahl says Germans see their falling standard of living and want a leader who will do something about it.

Beppler-Spahl told us, “There is a very strong mood within a large sector of German population for very fundamental changes, for real change. And who say ‘too many mistakes have been made. We see what is happening to the country. This is serious.'”

If Trump’s term is successful and Europe falls even farther behind the U.S. economically, it’s likely to put even more pressure on European elites as they try to keep right-wing parties out of power.

Liberals and Globalists Panic as Surging Right-Wingers Vie for Control of the European Union | The Gateway Pundit

After the ‘super-election-year’ of 2024, the European right-wingers have become a force to be reckoned with, having attained power in many countries like Italy, Hungary, the Netherlands, Belgium, Georgia; about to enter coalition in Austria; coming up HOT to election day in Romania and Germany as a real force; with both the French and British rightwing forces also on the rise.

Not only that, but we see populists and anti-globalists that are perhaps more left leaning, like in Slovakia and Serbia.

And let’s not forget that, while Russia is still the official bogeyman of the liberal Brussels establishment, it’s also an anti-Globalist, anti-woke, pro-traditional values civilization.

So, while in the surface the Macrons, and von der Leyens and the Scholzes of this world are still bossing about, Europe is primed for a conservative revolution that will steer it away from crippling, suicidal Globalist policies and into a common-sense approach that is bound to usher in a grand time of progress and abundance.

Now you just add to that the real miraculous event of 2024, in the figure of gigantic common sense conservative leader, US President Donald J. Trump – and you start to see just how powerful this movement can be.

As Bart De Wever becomes the new Belgium Prime Minister, an important new chapter commences in the steady climb of the Right to power in Europe.

Peter Franklin wrote an interesting piece in UnHerd:

“Thus the EU has another populist prime minister (De Wever) — in this case, one belonging to the same EU-wide alliance of parties as Italy’s Giorgia Meloni. Other shades of national populist also rule in the neighboring Netherlands, as well as Hungary and Slovakia.

In Austria, an establishment attempt to exclude the populist FPÖ, which won the 2024 general election, collapsed last month. FPÖ leader Herbert Kickl is likely to become Austrian chancellor later this year, putting a sixth EU country under a radical Right-wing leader and granting the populists another seat on the European Council.

In Romania, a bitter legal battle is raging over the participation of Călin Georgescu in the county’s presidential election. The attempt to disqualify him appears to have backfired, leading to a surge of voter support. Meanwhile, Czechia is due parliamentary elections this year with Andrej Babiš — whose party is now allied with Viktor Orbán — poised to win. In Germany, the firewall against the AfD is still holding despite a few cracks. In France, however, Marine Le Pen has what is essentially a 50:50 chance of becoming president in 2027 — or sooner, if Emmanuel Macron resigns.”

Herbert Kickl will put ‘remigration’ on the move.

Read: With Right-Winger Herbert Kickl on the Cusp of Becoming Austrian Prime Minister, ‘Remigration’ Is About To Capture Europe by Storm

Franklin notes that the new Belgium PM is a separatist and that many rightwing leaders are Euroskeptics.

“A further parallel is the irony of populist leaders taking over the power structures they once wanted to quit or dismantle: the Belgian state in the case of Bart De Wever, the EU in other cases. If that seems inconsistent, it’s nothing compared to the spectacle of establishment parties cooperating with politicians they once condemned as extreme — or even agreeing to serve under them.”

This alliance will Make Europe Great Again.

Conservative champion, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is also talking about these new days in Europe.

Yesterday we held the first EU-summit in Brussels since President Trump was inaugurated. It was a strange gathering. Everyone in Brussels can see the Trump tornado coming, but most still think they can get away from it. They won’t.

— Orbán Viktor (@PM_ViktorOrban) February 4, 2025

Viktor Orbán, today, on X.

“Yesterday we held the first EU-summit in Brussels since President Trump was inaugurated. It was a strange gathering. Everyone in Brussels can see the Trump tornado coming, but most still think they can get away from it. They won’t.

In 14 days, Donald Trump has already turned the world upside down with a few measures. The gender madness in America is over, the financing of globalist Soros organizations is over, illegal migration is over, and support for the Russian-Ukrainian war is also over. In other words, everything that the bureaucrats in Brussels have tried to force down our throats in recent years is over.

But there is something else here. We can also say goodbye to the rules of world trade as we know them. President Trump will stand up for American interests, even against Europe. The European Union faces difficult months ahead and the bureaucrats in Brussels are going to have a tough time.

We need to make an agreement, a deal, to preserve our economic relations with the United States. And a really good deal can be made by those who not only know but also respect each other.

We always knew that President Trump would return, so we were prepared. We are constantly negotiating and we will make a good deal with the new administration of the United States.

And what about the bureaucrats in Brussels? You’ve made your bed, now lie in it!”

The Vatican Grants Plenary Indulgences To Catholics Who Take Break From Video Games, TikTok and Twitter/X | Protestia

In celebration of the Jubilee Year, which Roman Catholics celebrate every quarter century, the Vatican has released its list of plenary indulgences, including everything from traveling to Rome to abstaining from distracting video games and social media apps.

In Romanist theology, nearly every Christian who passes away goes to purgatory. Here, even though their sins are forgiven, believers still need to be punished for their sins and cleansed from their attachment to their dark desires before they can go to heaven. This may take five years, five hundred years, or even five thousand and more.

Lucky for them, access to indulgences is one way to fast-track the process, reducing the time spent in purgatory either for yourself or a loved one.

Roman Catholics believe that there exists a treasury of merit, a “super-abundant store of righteousness and good works belonging to Christ, the Virgin Mary, and the saints” that the pope alone can “pull from” whenever he wants to transfer the earned merit of some people to others.

A plenary indulgence removes all temporal punishment due to sin and helps purgatory-bound souls get to heaven much faster. According to the Vatican, it applies to sins already forgiven and “cleanses the soul as if the person had just been baptized.”

Some of the things people can do that can earn them “two plenary indulgences for the deceased in one day:”

-Fasting at least one day a week from “futile distractions” such as social media, television, video games, certain phone apps. (Editor’s note. Surely TikTok and Twitter/X would apply)

-Visit any local Cathedral, Marian Shrine, or other special church designated by the local bishop for obtaining the Jubilee Indulgence.

-Make a Pilgrimage to Rome and pray for the Pope’s intentions in any one of the Four Major Papal Basilicas (St. Peter’s Basilica, the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, St. Mary Major, or St. Paul Outside the Walls) or any of the special Jubilee churches listed by the Apostolic penitentiary in Rome.

-Make a pilgrimage to one of the following churches in Italy: Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels in Assisi, Basilica of Our Lady of Loretto Basilica of Our Lady of Pompeii, Basilica in St. Anthony in Padua, OR in the Holy Land: Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem, Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth.

-Perform an extraordinary work of mercy such as a generous gift to the poor, or visiting nursing homes or prison.

-Participate in diocesan or parish sponsored spiritual exercises, missions, or formation activities based on the documents of the Second Vatican Council or the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

It’s a sick, sick system, but we’d expect nothing less from this corrupt and polluting false religion.

Orbán: “Liberals Have Had Their Place In The Sun, It’s Time To Defeat Them In Every Election, Starting With Donald Trump” | ZeroHedge

By Thomas Brooke, of Remix news

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has defended his administration’s conservative policies on migration and family support, emphasizing Hungary’s stance as a “conservative island” in a “liberal European ocean.”

In an interview with Austrian ServusTV, the Hungarian leader claimed his administration’s priority of family-friendly policies over immigration is the right solution to declining birth rates as he strives to protect “the Hungarian way of life.”

“Unlike many other EU member states, we did not allow people belonging to foreign cultures to enter,” Orbán said, contrasting Hungary’s stance with countries like Germany and France where immigration is relied upon to address demographic challenges. “We support families, not migration,” he added.

The Hungarian prime minister took a firm stance particularly against illegal immigration, emphasizing Hungary’s resistance to the influx of people from “foreign cultures — predominantly Islam.” He claimed that Hungary’s strict migration policies help maintain lower crime rates and prevent social unrest.

“We Hungarians think that the situation will not get better with illegal migration, but only worse. Nobody in Hungary wants illegal migrants to come in; we are on a different path,” he told the Austrian broadcaster.

Addressing Europe’s economic issues, Orbán described the EU’s economy as “suffering from pneumonia,” attributing the economic decline to policies decided upon in Brussels which he claimed have led European businesses to face significantly higher energy costs than their American counterparts.

“European companies are forced to pay two to three times the price of electricity and three to four times the price of gas,” he said, calling for Europe to adopt a “new energy policy, otherwise companies will be ruined.”

Orbán accused the EU leadership of building a culture that marginalizes conservative values, claiming it had instilled a misguided philosophy in which “anyone who is not a liberal cannot be democratic.” His criticism reinforced his remarks in the wake of this week’s Georgian election lost by the pro-EU opposition parties.

“If the liberals had won here in Georgia, it would be the news everywhere in Western Europe today that your democracy is in top shape. But in the same election, the conservatives won, so debates are expected in the international press,” Orbán said in support of the incumbent Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidzeon.

He called for a shift toward a “family-friendly, anti-migration, pro-peace” leadership in Europe, expressing confidence that “this new center” would soon gain prominence within the bloc.

“We need prime ministers who are on the side of the people, representing the interests of the European people,” he said, claiming that European liberals have had “their place under the sun” and “must be defeated in as many elections as possible.”

On the issue of the conflict in Ukraine, Orbán reiterated his call for an immediate ceasefire and called for European leaders to stop fanning the flames of war. “This is a ‘fraternal war’ — one we have nothing to do with,” he said.

One significant development he hopes will affect the West’s short-term foreign policy is the outcome of next week’s U.S. presidential election.

“We know that Donald Trump did not start a war anywhere as president, and wherever he was, he ended it as soon as possible,” Orbán remarked. “If there is a person in the world who can succeed in achieving a ceasefire, it is Donald Trump.”

BITTER AWAKENING: Ukrainians and the MSM Start To Acknowledge Dire Situation in the Front, as Sweeping Russian Forces Take 27 Settlements in October | The Gateway Pundit

The sweeping offensive by the Russian Federation forces is taking the Ukrainian army to a breaking point for lack of human resources, artillery shells, tanks, planes, drones, and missiles.

But mostly, lack of men.

Russia has captured over 700 square miles in Ukraine since August – and that is a reality that is starting to be openly discussed by the Ukrainians themselves and is also beginning to reach the MSM.

Moscow troops conquered a total of 27 settlements just in the month of October – I checked: Vishnevoye, Verkhnekamenskoye, Ugledar, Zhelannoye Vtoroye, Grodovka, Zolotaya Niva, Zoryanoye Pervoye, Ostrovskoye, Mikhailovka, Levadnoye, Krasny Yar, Nevskoye, Maksimilyanovka, Zoryanoye, Novosadovoye, Nikolaevka, Alexandropol, Izmailovka, Tsukurino, Katerinovka, Gornyak, Dobrovolye, Selidovo, Krugliakovka, Yasnaya Polyana, Leonidovka, Novoukrainka, and Shakhtyorkoye.

While this may look like a meaningless list of foreign names with no significance, it stands to reason that it was a LOT of places, between villages and cities, as the steamroller proceeds unabated by the defenses.

The Red Army is advancing faster than at any time since March 2022, at the onset of the war, and the Kiev forces are facing a tactical crisis in most areas.

Slavyangrad reported:

“Retired Colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Oleg Starikov stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are experiencing a tactical crisis in many areas of the SMO zone.

‘I am now showing the real situation that is happening. The real crisis was in one direction, and now – in many’, Starikov noted.

He added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have problems in the Kupyansk, Chasov Yar, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, Selidovo, Kurakhovo, and Southern directions.”

And worse, Ukrainian command cannot transfer reserves to the points of contact where the situation is critical.

While the forced conscription continues to pursue men of military age trying to evade them, it’s never enough. And among the ones that get caught and sent, MANY are deserting.

It is estimated that as many as 900 Ukrainian soldiers desert per day – that’s two whole battalions.

The Ukrainian deputy Anna Skorokhod said that the number of official deserters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has exceeded 100,000 people.

French channel LCI published numbers of deserters according to their sources in Ukraine military: in 2022, 10 thousand people; in 2023, 25 thousand; in 2024, 70 thousand people. A total of 105,000 people in the Armed Forces of Ukraine were officially declared deserters.

A militant of the Azov Nazi Brigades, Roman Ponomarenko, has said that the number of fugitives from the Ukrainian Armed Forces tends to increase sharply.

Lord Bebo reported:

“[Ponomarenko] says so few people are fleeing from the Ukrainian Armed Forces because soldiers are NOT aware that NOTHING WILL HAPPEN to them for escaping under current laws.”

It may sound strange, but the unauthorized abandonment of a unit by military personnel (SZCh) was decriminalized by Ukraine.

“The people’s deputies, most of whom have never served in the army, opened a ‘Pandora’s box’ by decriminalizing the first SZCh. Thanks to this, any soldier received a state-guaranteed ‘chance for an attempt’ to escape from the army.

Because if he is detained, nothing will happen to him. Even the time spent in the SZCh will be counted as part of his overall military service.”

So, now, the MSM is crying us a river about the situation in the battlefields. Even with the copes they insist on using, they can’t deny how bad things are going for Kiev.

Bloomberg reported:

“Russia’s army is gaining speed in its advance in eastern Ukraine, seizing more land last week than at any point this year, increasing pressure on Kiev’s U.S. and European allies to bolster its defenses.”

The gain of more than 124 square miles in just a week is gaining attention.

“Russia has captured 1,146 square kilometers in Ukraine since Aug. 6, about a quarter more than in the first seven months of the year, according to Bloomberg Intelligence calculations based on changes recorded by the DeepState map service that’s maintained in cooperation with the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.”

The prospect of peace under unfavorable conditions is becoming inescapable.

Ukrainian officials feel the war is doomed to fail, and more than two-thirds of the citizens now believe ‘it’s time to start peace talks with Russia’.

“Russian troops took over the town of Selydove this week, with the cities of Pokrovsk and Kurakhove among their next targets. Both are important logistical hubs for Ukraine’s defense in the Donetsk region. Should the cities fall into Putin’s hands, it would become another milestone on his path toward taking Ukraine’s entire industrial east.”

The All-Too-Short List of Conservative, Anti-Globalist Leaders | The Gateway Pundit

Photo courtesy of El Salvador Perspectives: President Trump and El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele

As the world shifts leftward and increasingly embraces globalism, a handful of leaders remain as holdouts—conservative, anti-globalist figures who advocate for national sovereignty, economic protectionism, and opposition to globalist institutions such as the United Nations, the European Union, or multinational trade agreements. They frequently push for secure borders and immigration controls within their own countries, resisting globalist trends.

One unifying factor among these leaders is their vilification in mainstream media and liberal social media where they are frequently compared to Hitler.  Several have been indicted and several have survived assassination attempts.

1. Donald Trump (United States, former president) became the global benchmark for conservative leadership through his “America First” policies, which emphasized securing borders, opposing international trade deals like the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), and withdrawing the U.S. from global commitments such as the Paris Agreement. His skepticism of NATO and focus on prioritizing national interests have reinforced his anti-globalist stance, influencing other leaders. Trump has faced four assassination attempts and has been indicted multiple times, further solidifying his polarizing role on the world stage.

2. Viktor Orbán (Hungary) is a prominent figure in European anti-globalist and nationalist politics, known for his strong opposition to European Union immigration policies and rejection of liberal, progressive agendas. As Hungary’s prime minister, he promotes a “Hungary first” approach, defending Hungarian culture and sovereignty from what he sees as undue influence from Brussels. Orbán has enacted strict anti-immigration policies, including building border fences to block migrants, framing this as a defense of Hungarian and European Christian values. His opposition to the LGBTQ+ agenda and support for traditional family values have further distanced him from EU leadership and drawn criticism from Western liberal media.

3. Jair Bolsonaro (Brazil, former president) firmly opposed globalist agendas, especially regarding climate agreements like the Paris Accord, while promoting economic protectionism and national sovereignty. In 2018, during his presidential campaign, Bolsonaro survived an assassination attempt in which he was stabbed in the abdomen while campaigning in Juiz de Fora, Brazil. The attack severely injured him, requiring multiple surgeries. Bolsonaro has since faced multiple indictments, and has been barred from running for office. Under Brazil’s current socialist leadership, the government banned Twitter after Elon Musk refused to censor content.

4. Andrzej Duda (Poland) is a central figure in Poland’s right-leaning, anti-globalist movement, known for emphasizing national sovereignty and conservative values. His presidency has been marked by frequent clashes with the European Union over judicial reforms, immigration, and social policies. Duda opposes EU-driven immigration policies, advocating for tighter borders and Poland’s right to control its own immigration laws. He supports traditional conservative values aligned with Poland’s Catholic majority, including opposition to same-sex marriage and restrictions on abortion. His platform appeals to voters skeptical of supranational entities like the EU, favoring nationalist policies that safeguard Poland’s cultural and religious identity. While Poland’s prime minister holds most executive power, Duda remains influential in shaping the country’s political direction, particularly in its resistance to EU pressure.

5. Giorgia Meloni, Italy’s Prime Minister, is widely seen as a right-leaning, anti-globalist leader due to her strong focus on nationalism, opposition to European Union bureaucracy, and her efforts to preserve Italy’s cultural identity and sovereignty. As the leader of the Brothers of Italy party, she has promoted an “Italy first” approach, advocating for stricter immigration controls and prioritizing Italian citizens in social services and employment. Meloni strongly opposes the influence of supranational entities like the EU, criticizing policies she believes undermine Italy’s autonomy. She emphasizes defending traditional values and national identity, positioning herself against globalism and uncontrolled migration.

6. Marine Le Pen, leader of France’s National Rally (formerly National Front) party, has long been a key figure in the country’s far-right, anti-globalist movement. Known for her opposition to the European Union’s influence over French policy, she advocates for national sovereignty and a “France first” agenda. Initially pushing for Frexit (France leaving the EU), Le Pen has since softened her stance, now advocating for EU reforms instead. Her platform emphasizes protectionism, with strong criticism of the euro currency and EU bureaucracy. Immigration is central to her politics; she calls for stricter controls, aiming to reduce legal immigration and counter what she refers to as the “Islamization” of France. Her policies prioritize French nationals in employment and housing and push for a referendum to overhaul immigration laws. Despite being indicted for corruption and her party’s recent electoral defeat to a left-wing alliance, Le Pen continues to wield significant influence in French politics.

7. Aleksandar Vučić, Serbia’s president since 2017, is a nationalist who has carefully balanced relations between the West and Russia. He has expressed anti-globalist, right-leaning sentiments, particularly through his efforts to defend Serbian sovereignty against EU pressure. Vučić has resisted Western influence on key issues like Kosovo, which declared independence from Serbia, and has maintained a position of neutrality in conflicts such as the Ukraine war, refusing to impose sanctions on Russia. His policies promote economic nationalism and emphasize sovereignty over international interference. Vučić has been vilified in the media, and there have been numerous unverified reports of assassination attempts against him.

8. Javier Milei, elected as Argentina’s president in 2023, is a right-wing libertarian known for his anti-globalist stance and radical economic reforms. Influenced by Austrian School economists, he advocates for minimal government intervention, proposing drastic measures such as abolishing the Central Bank, cutting public spending, and rejecting the Keynesian model, which he blames for Argentina’s economic issues. His policies focus on economic liberalization and fiscal conservatism, aligning with libertarian principles and opposing socialism, which he frequently criticizes for causing poverty and state control.

In foreign policy, Milei is pro-United States, pro-Israel, and supportive of Ukraine in its conflict with Russia, while taking a hardline stance against left-wing governments in Latin America. His fiery rhetoric and criticism of Argentina’s political elite have led to him being described as a right-wing populist. Though polarizing, Milei enjoys strong support from those seeking radical change in Argentina’s political and economic system, while facing vilification in liberal media outlets for his anti-establishment views and unconventional style.

9. Nayib Bukele, president of El Salvador, is a rising anti-globalist figure known for his hardline, right-leaning policies. He has taken a strong stance against globalism, often criticizing global elites and institutions he believes undermine national sovereignty. Speaking at events like the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in the U.S., Bukele has emphasized resisting these forces, crediting his defiance of international elites with making El Salvador the “safest country in Latin America.” His presidency is marked by an unprecedented crackdown on gang violence, involving mass arrests of suspected gang members—a strategy that has drawn both praise and condemnation internationally.

While his anti-globalist rhetoric resonates with many in El Salvador and abroad, Bukele has faced criticism in mainstream media for authoritarian tendencies and alleged erosion of democratic institutions. Despite this, his popularity remains high, largely due to the significant reduction in crime under his administration.

10. Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s longest-serving prime minister, has embraced anti-globalist rhetoric by prioritizing Israeli sovereignty, particularly in the face of international pressure regarding security and defense issues. He has opposed global agreements, most notably the Iran nuclear deal, arguing that such accords compromise Israel’s safety. Under Netanyahu Israel has been on the frontlines of the battle against Islamic extremism and terrorism. Despite calls to issue a warrant for his arrest, so far, the International Criminal Court (ICC), has not. However, there was an attempt on his life.

Hollywood Never Would’ve Made This: Mel Gibson Developing Show About How Christians Fought off Muslim Invaders | The Gateway Pundit.

There’s a TV series in the works in which Christians are the heroes, but it is not coming out of the major Hollywood studios where Christians are the foils for the noble people who are anything but Christians.

“I’m also working on a TV limited series about the Siege of Malta, which is an incredible story, and there’s only one place to film that, I mean, in Malta,” Gibson said, according to Movieweb.

“Because that’s where it happened, at these fortresses where 700 knights defended Malta against an onslaught from the Turkish and Suleiman sent 40,000 men and ships and, wow, the knights won. So, it’s a pretty crazy, great story,” he said.

According to Encyclopedia Britannica, the Siege of Malta took place from May to September in 1565 when the powerful Ottoman Empire sought to take the Mediterranean island as part of its conquests.

At the time, Christians were reeling from years of defeats at the hands of the expanding Ottoman Empire.

“Controlled by the Knights Hospitaller since their expulsion from Rhodes, Malta was the key to Christian defenses against Ottoman expansion in the Mediterranean,” Britannica says, reporting that overall, 3,000 of 6,000 Christians died against 20,000 of 40,000 invaders.

“For the Ottomans, this was their worst reversal in more than a century, and it gave Christian Europe hope that Turkish expansion could be halted,” it wrote.

The Ottoman Empire was daunted by its defeat, but its European advance was not permanently halted until the Siege of Vienna in 1683.

Gibson has other projects moving forward, including plans to begin filming for the sequel to “The Passion of the Christ” this spring, according to the Daily Wire.

Gibson has developed six draft screenplays for “The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection,” according to the Christian Broadcasting Network.

The sequel has been in development for ten years.

The film will depict Jesus’ crucifixion as well as the three days which preceded His resurrection, according to film journalist Jordan Ruimy.

Gibson previously confirmed that the sequel was in the works in a 2016 conversation with evangelist Greg Laurie, according to CBN.

“It’s called The Resurrection. Of course, that’s a very big subject and it needs to be looked at because we don’t want to just do a simple rendering of it — you know, read what happened.”
