Plugged In Movie Awards: Best Movies for Adults (2026) | Plugged In

Some would consider the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to be the leading authority on good movies. The Academy hands out Oscars every year to tell the world which films are worthy of accolades, which ones had the best acting, the best cinematography, the best writing.

You probably wouldn’t watch many of those movies with your kids in the room: Seven of this year’s Best Picture nominees were rated R. However, try watching them with your own parents, and you still might get the urge to turn off the TV.

The Oscars just aren’t all that concerned with wholesome content. The Academy cares about the stories being told, and its members certainly pay attention to the craft. But if a film needs 100+ f-bombs or some nudity to convey its message, they’re usually willing to let that slide.

Not so with the Plugged In Movie Awards.

Our nominees for Best Movies for Adults all tell compelling stories. They’re all well-crafted films that certainly do their creators credit. (In fact, two of them are currently up for the Academy Award for Best Picture.) And they’re still far more navigable than the R-rated fare offered up by the Academy.

These films, we felt, told powerful messages about love and family. They challenged us to look within ourselves and consider our own brokenness. And even when they dealt with grief, war and tragedy, they still left audiences with a sense of hope for the future.

Vote for your favorite adults’ movies released in 2025 at this link. Voting closes March 1, and we’ll announce winners by March 11.

(Summaries written by Bob Hoose, Emily Tsiao and Kennedy Unthank.)

The Ballad of Wallis Island (PG-13)

Sing a song of sixpence? Please. Herb McGwyer won’t sing for eccentric millionaire Charles unless he’s given 500,000 euros. And even then, when Herb’s ex-wife and former musical partner shows up to perform alongside him, he’s not too keen on it.

The Ballad of Wallis Island is a charming film. Audiences will smile at its folk performances and British humor in the same moment that they’ll tear up at the film’s themes of loss, longing and moving on.

While The Ballad of Wallis Island feels far tamer than many movies made for adult audiences, its most discordant notes include quite a few misuses of God’s name—something viewers will need to consider. But, if we may show our hand, reviewer Kennedy Unthanks says he’s still listening to the movie’s soundtrack even today.

Hamnet (PG-13)

Hamnet takes place during the early life of William Shakespeare and his wife, Agnes. However, this story also takes place in the late 1500s, a time when day-to-day life is a tedious, dirt-encrusted struggle—and a time of plague. And that plague claims the life of the Shakespeare’s son, Hamnet.

Hamnet (which the Oscars lauded with a Best Picture nomination) speculates on how all that hardship and grief may have significantly impacted the Bard’s classic masterpiece, Hamlet. However, the dramatic brilliance of this movie is that we see everything through Agnes’ eyes. So when she watches her husband’s new stage tragedy performed at the movie’s end, we see the effusive scenes through her lens: through her past grief and loss and anger.

Content-wise, viewers encounter drinking, a clothed scene of intimacy, some odd mysticism and, of course, a child’s emotionally devastating death. But therein, the movie becomes a heart-wrenching and poignantly therapeutic examination of grief and the cathartic nature of art.

Nuremberg (PG-13)

Nuremberg takes place at the end of World War II as military authorities begin piecing together the possibility of an international criminal court, something that had never been attempted before. Many believed it was essential to keep the Nazi atrocities from ever happening again. On that front, Nuremberg focuses in on the relationship between U.S. Army psychiatrist Doug Kelley and infamous Nazi officer Hermann Göring (played respectively by Rami Malek and Russell Crowe).

As the relationship between Kelly and Göring grows more complicated, the pair begins to hammer out trenchant moral questions: Why were the Nazis such uniquely abhorrent people? What made them so violent and terrible? How could they be so unlike us?

What Nuremberg eloquently answers, however, is that Göring and his Nazis were human. And indeed, like us: fallen, broken individuals who waded into sin and corruption.

Now, this movie isn’t a film of faith, and we see some alcohol and hear foul language. But when looked at through a lens of faith, the film raises good questions about the fallen nature of mankind and the universal need for God’s grace. Nuremberg doesn’t make that declaration exactly, nor in so many words. But the lesson is there, and people of faith will definitely recognize the truth of it.

Rental Family (PG-13)

Rental Family is a touching story about an American named Philip (played by Brendan Fraser), who lives in Japan. Philip was once a pretty successful commercial actor. But his now-floundering career forces him to take a job with a company that rents out actors to families and other people who need a stand-in relationship. These folks so long for human connection—a listening ear, a friendly smile, a hand to hold—that they’re willing to pay for it by the hour. However, when Philip begins taking these “roles” the resulting relationships change his perspective on life.

Viewers should note that this is a mature film that includes loose sexual morals, abundant drinking and a few inclusions of coarse language. But the film delivers solid statements about holding fast to family. It encourages us to put a higher priority on slowing down, listening to others and being honest and loving with those around you.

Train Dreams (PG-13)

Robert Grainier didn’t live an extraordinary life. He spent 80 years in and around the town of Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He never saw the ocean, never bought a TV set. But he had a family. He had a home.

He was a logger, so he spent seasons cutting down trees to build railroads and bridges. He saw men die from tree-chopping accidents. He saw others murdered for the color of their skin. And he grieved after his wife and daughter disappeared without a trace during a forest fire that destroyed their home.

In addition to those moments of intense violence, the film comes with some language and minor sexual content.

Still, Robert found beauty in life; he found peace. The movie itself—through its slow, spectacular cinematography—invites audiences to slow down and reflect on their own lives. And ultimately, Train Dreams (which is also an Academy Award Best Picture nominee) tells us that if we’re willing to search for it, beauty can be found even in the most brutal of places.

Hollywood’s Collapse Continues – October Box Office Sales Were a Dud, Summer 2025 Was Worst in Decades | The Gateway Pundit

The entertainment industry is in serious trouble. Even the liberal New York Times is panicking.

This weekend, the Times ran a story about how Hollywood can’t seem to connect to American audiences anymore. It doesn’t matter how many stars are in a movie or how much it cost to make, people just aren’t going to the movies like they used to.

Could it have something to do with all of the liberal lecturing and virtue signaling in movies today?

The NY Times piece is behind a paywall, but conservative entertainment critic Christian Toto wrote about it:

NY Times: Is Hollywood’s Movie Star Era Over?

Welcome to the party, pals.

The New York Times published a grim look at this year’s theatrical releases. The report shares what right-leaning commentators have noted for years.

The era of the Movie Star is unofficially over.

The timing couldn’t be more prophetic. Glen Powell, an actor with Cruise-level magnetism and a willingness to please, couldn’t push “The Running Man” to the top of the box office charts. The film opened with a weak $17 million…

Why? How much time do you have? It’s easy to point to the obvious causes:

– The rise of streaming competition
– The shrinking window for films hitting VOD platforms
– The rise of consequential video game titles
– Social media
– Shrinking attention spans in Gen Z
– The pandemic fallout

And the ones media outlets won’t go near.

– Stars made themselves toxic to half the country with their political views
– Stars are, for the most part, over-exposed
– The movies just aren’t very good, in toto
– The Woke Mind Virus still infects the industry
– Hollywood has lost touch with the common man

John Nolte of Breitbart News, who often writes about movies and the entertainment industry, takes a similar point of view:

“Survive till ’25,” was the Hollywood mantra, as though the appeal and quality of the product had nothing to do with that survival.

“Is it time for Hollywood to concede that a lot of moviegoers in North America are never coming back? That movie theaters have permanently lost 20 to 25 percent of their customers?” the Times asked.

Yes, but for only one reason — which has nothing to do with the pandemic, streaming, or early releases to the home video market. And that single reason is … appeal.

If streaming and theatrical windows and the pandemic caused the worst summer box office in 44 years, why did the summers of 2022, 2023, and 2024 produce better box office results?

Like many of America’s cultural institutions, Hollywood needs new leadership.

The people running the entertainment industry are not only failing to sell new movies, they have destroyed brands that were once thought to be unbreakable.

Americans Brace For The Yearly Spike In Crime That Always Happens On Halloween | End Of The American Dream

When three thugs in Halloween masks terrorized a family in northern Virginia a few days ago, it was a sign that Halloween crime season is off to an early start this year.  Once we get to the evening of October 31st, you will want to make sure that your home is both occupied and secure, because criminals love an easy target.  It is the one time during the year when criminals can wear masks and freely approach your home without causing much suspicion.  Unfortunately, many choose to use that as an opportunity to cause mayhem.

According to the National Retail Federation, Halloween has become a lot more popular in the U.S. over the last couple of decades

The National Retail Federation has surveyed Americans about their Halloween plans each September since 2005. Back then, slightly more than half of Americans said they planned to celebrate. In 2025, nearly three-quarters said they would – a huge jump in 20 years.

And people are planning to shell out more money than ever. Total spending on Halloween is expected to reach a record US$13 billion this year, according to the federation – an almost fourfold increase over the past two decades.

It was once a relatively minor holiday, but it has now become one of the biggest holidays on our entire calendar.

Halloween is a festival that literally celebrates evil, and so it shouldn’t be much of a surprise that violent crime spikes on October 31st every year…

“The evening violent crime count on October 31 is about 50 percent higher than on any other date during the year, and twice the daily average,” criminologist James Alan Fox wrote for the Boston Globe, noting criminal activity peaks during trick-or-treat hours, and trails off later in the night.

“The most popular hours for gathering Snickers and Junior Mints around the neighborhood are apparently also the prime time for violent crime.”

This time of the year, Americans consume millions upon millions of hours of Halloween programming that show people in masks doing all sorts of unthinkable things, and there are always going to be sick people that want to copy what they see on their screens.

In fact, a group of three “mask-wearing creeps” absolutely terrorized a family in Virginia just a few days ago…

Halloween mask-wearing creeps terrorized a widow in Virginia as chilling doorbell footage showed the trio trying to break into her home and threatening to kill the occupants.

The three suspects showed up at the Alexandria home — about eight miles from Washington, DC — around 10 p.m. Tuesday, according to the homeowner’s daughter, Shayla, WUSA9 reported.

“At first I thought it was just a Halloween joke, a little prank,” Shayla said. “So I said, ‘Happy Halloween.’”

It turns out that this wasn’t a joke at all.

The thugs just kept pounding on the door and demanding to be let inside…

Shayla said the trio kept knocking and pounding “harder and harder” on the door.

“It’s either you coming out or we coming in,” one person can be heard saying on the video. Another shouted, “Open the door!”

I can’t even imagine how frightened Shayla must have been.

The three criminals were unable to get in through the front door, so they went around back where they “broke through a wooden fence, slashed open deck screens, and banged on windows”

The group broke through a wooden fence, slashed open deck screens, and banged on windows while peering inside.

“They were just hitting the window,” Shayla told WUSA. “My heart dropped when they said they were gonna take a chair and break down the door. That is just too much.”

Shayla told the outlet the masked suspects “threatened to kill us.” After about 10 minutes of pure terror, the trio finally left — leaving Shayla and her widowed mother shaken.

This is the kind of people that our culture is producing.

Wearing masks and frightening people is considered to be “fun”, and often that is combined with theft.

For example, a woman in Tennessee was recently caught stealing a package from someone’s porch while wearing a clown mask

A woman in a clown mask was caught on camera stealing a package, giving people quite a scare in Baxter.

The unwanted visitor and thief had several folks double-checking their locks and home cameras this past week.

“To think somebody was so brazen enough to do it in the daylight in a clown mask is kind of crazy,” said Terry, a neighbor of the victim.

In Seattle, two young males were arrested for “harassing two women while wearing clown masks and brandishing guns”…

A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested early Monday after allegedly harassing two women while wearing clown masks and brandishing guns in the Bitter Lake neighborhood, Seattle police said.

The incident unfolded around 12:20 a.m. when officers were flagged down by two women on Aurora Avenue North.

In Indiana, a teen that was spotted “wearing a clown-like mask” went on quite a crime spree before he was finally caught…

An Evansville teen who was seen wearing a clown-like mask on security camera has been arrested and charged, according to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office.

VCSO says a 16-year-old from Evansville was arrested and charged with multiple crimes, including attempted burglary, theft, and attempted theft.

The arrest is connected to a series of car break-ins and attempted residential burglaries in the Wellington Acres neighborhood of northeastern Vanderburgh County.

This time of the year just seems to bring out the worst in many people.

One forensic psychologist believes that Halloween is a time “when we expect and almost accept petty crimes and mischievous acting out”…

Forensic psychologists say the holiday’s mischievous nature inspires criminals.

“Halloween is a celebration of the dark side — a time when we expect and almost accept petty crimes and mischievous acting out,” said forensic psychologist Barbara Kirwin, the defense shrink for serial killer Joel Rifkin. “Mostly it acts as a pressure valve that allows repressed people to release some of their pent-up anger and hostility.”

Sadly, we don’t just see a spike in petty crimes during Halloween.

Every year, homes get invaded.

Every year, women get raped.

Every year, innocent people get murdered.

So it is important to take precautions.  The following list of safety tips for Halloween comes from CBS News

  • Don’t leave your home unoccupied. If you have to go out, leave lights and the TV on, and ask neighbors to keep a watch. Never put a spare key under the mat.
  • If you’re home, make sure your walkway is well-lit to prevent trips and falls by children who can’t see through their masks. Make sure to see who’s at the door before you open it.
  • Keep pets indoors and under control. Dogs can become easily spooked by strangers, especially in disguises, and end up biting friends or children.
  • Put away outside movable objects such as grills, lawn mowers and bicycles that could be stolen, vandalized or thrown against your home.
  • Park cars in a garage, if possible, or in well-lighted areas and remove all valuables. Activate the car alarm when leaving.
  • If you’re going out, remain on high alert and avoid children in dark costumes whose minds will be on candy, not safety.
  • Set up an informal “Neighborhood Watch.” Some locales have a “Witch Watch” — groups of volunteers who guard the community.

There is one point on that list that I disagree with very strongly.

If you have dogs, make sure that they are visible to anyone that approaches your home, because most criminals do not like to deal with dogs.

In general, I would recommend doing whatever you can to make your home as unwelcoming to intruders as possible.

We live at a time when our society is absolutely teeming with predators, and it is only going to get worse in the years ahead.

So please be very careful and take the security of your home seriously, because the safety of your family is not something that you want to gamble with.

The Gospel Coalition Editor Quietly Removes Graphic Homosexual TV Show From His List of ‘Favorite Things’ | Protestia

Brett McCracken is the Senior Editor and Director of Communications at The Gospel Coalition. Every year, he posts his list of favorite movies and TV shows, often on the Gospel Coalition itself, and it is an under reported scandal that his favorite films frequently frequently contain graphic sex and nudity, both straight and gay.

McCracken’s Top 20 list of favorite shows in 2021, published on the Gospel Coalition platform, featured several that were rated ‘R’ for scenes of sex and nudity; his 2022 best movies list is full of graphic sex and nudity, and mercifully, his best films of 2023′ only featured a bit of sex and nudity.

For example, let’s review one of his “Best Movies of 2022′ that TGC published: the pornographic Norwegian film The Worst Person in the World.

This movie is rated R or 18+ in most countries for graphic sex and nudity throughout. Common Sense Media reveals that the film “follows the life of twenty something Julie (Renate Reinsve) as she navigates her way through life and various relationships. It deals with adult themes and sexual acts — both intercourse and oral sex — are portrayed on-screen, including full-frontal nudity.”

Kids in Mind has more details. Here is a sampling. Viewer discretion is advised.

After a woman breaks up with a man, they kiss passionately on a sofa, they move to the floor where the man removes the woman’s shorts and underwear (we see her bare legs, hip and the side of her buttock) and performs oral sex on her; the man stands up later and we see him without pants (his genitals and bare legs are shown). A man and a woman kiss passionately and remove each other’s clothing (we see his bare chest and abdomen); he thrusts on top of her (we see pubic hair, bare buttocks and bare breasts).

A woman lifts her shirt to show her bare breasts to a man (we see her bare breasts); he’s working and looks at her but is not distracted. A woman looks at another woman’s Instagram photos and we see her striking suggestive poses that reveal her partially bare buttocks, cleavage, abdomen, back and legs.

A woman pulls down a man’s pants in bed, and bites and slaps his bare buttocks (we see his bare buttocks). A man and a woman sit in bed (sex is implied) and we see the woman’s bare breasts and the man’s bare shoulders, chest and legs. A man and a woman sleep in bed together (we see their bare shoulders and sex is implied).

A woman is shown fully nude (we see her bare breasts, legs hips and abdomen) during a hallucination where she removes a soiled tampon and throws it in her father’s face.

During a hallucination, a woman imagines her fully nude body aged and we see her bare breasts, abdomen and buttocks as several people’s hands touch her; she also imagines an infant nursing from her breast.

Despite having the perverse and depraved viewing habit usually reserved for a 16-year-old boy passing the time at 2:00 am in his gooner basement, McCracken is so brazen that he and TGC are offering a $299 course on how to “Learn ways to evaluate and engage films from a Christian perspective.

In 2021, he released a list of his ‘favorite things on TV,’ and we couldn’t help but notice the inclusion of The White Lotus.

Appearing on HBO, this six-episode show is rated TV-M and contains tons of filthy language, sex jokes, sex scenes, copious amounts of male nudity, and some female nudity as well.

In fact, it contains (warning, graphic description aheada graphic sex scene featuring two fully nude men, where one has his face in the back-end of the other, doing very homosexual things to his anus with his mouth.

We’ve been able to pinpoint this scene to near the middle, based on online viewer feedback, which means even after he watched this scene, it was not enough to turn his stomach. Instead, McCracken kept on watching more episodes, understanding that he very well may see more of this content in the rest of the season, and then had the gall to list the season as one of his favorite things he watched.

Our criticism of the morality of the man leading The Gospel Coalition seems to have gotten to him, however. While the rest of this content is there, he recently edited this show out of his list of favorites, so that it doesn’t appear.

Thanks to the Wayback Machine, however, we saved it for posterity many years ago.

All this to say, when Brett McCracken releases a lengthy article on TGC criticizing Hollywood’s view of sex, we ought to rightly lambast them as the hypocrites they are. In 2018 McCracken wrote:

“The prevalence of sex and sexualized (often naked) bodies in today’s films and TV shows… is just one way Hollywood reveals its understanding of sex as a lust-driven consumer commodity. The very idea of sexual acts and sexualized bodies on a screen, for the gaze of the masses, presents sex in consumer terms—inviting third-party observers into a sexual intimacy that doesn’t belong to them but which feels like their prerogative to consume.”

Talk about ‘thou art the man.’

McCracken is one of these “third-party observers!”

In the same article that he laments the violative aspects of sex on screen, he discusses the film The Shape of Water, an R-rated flick about a romance between a woman and an amphibious beast, which he reviewed and did not like, and which features, in his own words, “an explicit scene of brazen, no-shame interspecies sex.” Kids in Mind again fills in the gap (content warning).

Why should anyone ever take them seriously?

New Groundbreaking MAGA Movie, Not Just Another Documentary, Is Reaching Gen Z | The Gateway Pundit

Guest post by Rachel Alexander. This article originally appeared on Townhall and was republished with permission.

Every now and then, a movie that combines heart and brains comes along, capturing the essence of the era. For MAGA conservatives, that film this year is guaranteed to be Potluck Teacher. It’s a bit reminiscent of God’s Not Dead, but goes beyond religion and delves into MAGA themes that most faith-based films do not expand into.

Potluck Teacher is a brilliant and powerful faith-based drama that explores how Gen Z young people are navigating a harrowing landscape of destroyed families, schools hostile to religious faith, and a culture that celebrates sin and antisocial behavior. The plot centers on Harrison Jones, a clerk at a sports card store. Two high school students come to the store and strike up a conversation.

Jones impresses them sufficiently that when a lazy, jaded teacher encourages her students to find an interesting local person to speak to her class (from which she excuses herself to waste the hour in the teacher’s lounge gossiping), they return to the store and ask Jones if he’d like to come and speak. Not knowing Jones’ background, they unsuspectedly spark a series of events that end up changing their lives and those of their classmates.

After praying for guidance before arriving at school, Jones reflects as the students tear into each other and the adults and society that have failed them. The students open up with emotional geysers pent up from years of anger and depression. The class, though, Mike, talks of being abused by his father, who then took up with another “stupid woman” who didn’t care about her own kids but just wanted “a man in the house.” Another student, Hailey, shares her experience of confronting “the darkness” that torments her and encourages her to hate herself.

Meanwhile, in the teachers’ breakroom, their cynical teacher boasts to another teacher about how she doesn’t pay any attention to the students’ issues, except to demand that they complete their work.

After fending off taunts of “teacher’s pet” from other students, the class nerd says he recently happened upon a re-run of a cheesy old family sitcom, The Brady Bunch — and wonders why children are now left to “raise themselves.”

Secular-minded fellow students challenge the class Christian, Hannah, for her beliefs. She defends her faith, saying they’ve been raised in a society that denies the truth: “We’ve grown up in a junkyard.” Hannah points out how many fellow students are suffering depression before exclaiming, “They need God in their lives, and I can’t even talk about Him!”

One of the more moving scenes involves Maya, a young black female student. She talks of being preyed upon by young men who exploit her for the anything-goes jungle of the sexually “liberated” internet.

Potluck Teacher also touches on cancel culture (I won’t spoil the ending, but it’s a shocker that makes the movie). Michael Davis plays the role of Jones and is so compelling that you wish he were your mentor and taught every high school class. He’s just one of those rare finds in a teacher.

At one point, Jones explains to the students that the Bible verse “Judge not, lest ye be judged” doesn’t mean we’re not allowed to judge; otherwise, there would be no right or wrong, no laws to enforce. Instead, he explains that it means don’t judge people for things you are guilty of. He brings the students out of their closed-off selves, getting the quiet, withdrawn ones to engage in discussions, and even convinces a truant student in the parking lot to return to the classroom and participate.

He helps the students understand how each one is different, facing different struggles, and talks them through their criticisms of each other so they see each other in a different lens.

Potluck Teacher is the first film to share in brutal honesty how the collapse of faith, family and culture has devastated our youth and caused a surge in teen depression. The highly entertaining drama achieves this in a style reminiscent of The Breakfast Club, where a group of high school students candidly confront each other about their struggles. The film is distributed by one of the world’s top faith-based film distributors.

Potluck Teacher is the third and latest film from Andrew Thomas. His first effort was a documentary on canceled Christians that won awards and honors from Christian film festivals across the country. Three years ago, Thomas founded Summerbrook Studios and released his first feature film, Lake Lavon. It tells of a young couple who find faith as they find each other. Lake Lavon was the number one film on the Christian Channel and has been widely streamed around the world. Like Potluck Teacher, Lake Lavon centers on our youth, where the cultural battles of tomorrow are being fought today (Thomas and his wife have four children).

Now, with Potluck Teacher, Thomas has cemented his status as a rising star among conservative and faith-based filmmakers.

There’s a real need for original and engrossing entertainment geared towards conservatives and Christians, whom major filmmakers all but ignore. MAGA conservatives and Christians have long decried the lack of original dramas and movies that speak to them. This is mainly because the left dominates Hollywood and the arts, and has for decades.

While there has been a surge of faith-based films in recent years, few delve into the political aspects as well, often leaving only documentaries that younger generations are less likely to watch. Thomas’s works are helping to fill this gap. They rise above the trite and predictable fare that we see all too often in this genre, to the extent we see any films at all. He’s certainly doing his part to help make a conservative Hollywood a reality.

Potluck Teacher is streaming on Amazon Prime, YouTube, Tubi, and elsewhere. If you miss it, you’re missing something special. All high school and college students especially need to watch this powerful movie.

Disney’s Snow White Ends in Disaster: Woke Film Needs to Make $427 to Break Even But Has Only Hauled in $195 Million Worldwide in Its First Month | The Gateway Pundit

Screenshot: Disney / Youtube

Woke Disney’s live-action remake of Snow White, released on March 19, has already ended its box office run by late April, cementing its place as one of Hollywood’s biggest flops.

The movie is proving to be a colossal misstep for the studio, as the film continues its dismal performance at the global box office.

With a staggering production budget of $250-270 million, plus an estimated $140 million in marketing and distribution costs, the film needs to gross at least $427 million worldwide just to break even.

As of now, the film has grossed approximately $195.2 million worldwide. Industry analyses suggest that, to break even, Snow White would need to generate at least $427.8 million in global box office revenue, considering the typical revenue splits between studios and theaters, according to Forbes.

Given its current earnings, Snow White is projected to result in a financial loss of around $115 million for Disney, according to the New York Post.

However, with reports suggesting the final production costs may have escalated to $350 million due to reshoots and unforeseen expenses, the break-even point could be even higher, potentially requiring up to $700 million in global box office revenue.

Disney’s woke remake of the children’s classic “Snow White” had a horrific opening weekend in March at theaters in the US and abroad.

In its opening weekend, “Snow White” garnered approximately $43 million in domestic ticket sales, with an additional $44 million from international markets, totaling around $87 million globally.

The film was marred by controversies, mainly related to far-left actress Rachel Zegler.

Even Jonah Platt — son of the film’s own producer, Marc Platt — blasted lead actress Rachel Zegler on social media, blaming her for dragging down the film with her “immature” and “narcissistic” behavior during the press tour.

Ziegler, a complete narcissist and angry woke mess, sparked controversy for dismissing the 1937 classic by calling Prince Charming a “stalker” and “weird” and promising a feminist overhaul in which Snow White dreams of becoming a “leader” rather than falling in love.

Its first weekend was bad, but Snow White’s second weekend was a nightmare!

Snow White, during in its second weekend out, sold fewer tickets than “A Working Man” and “The Chosen: Last Supper.”

According to Box Office Mojo, Snow White placed third behind the story of the Last Supper with Jesus Christ on a Friday night. The Chosen had $5,103,354 in ticket sales, while Snow White had $3,700,000 in ticket sales.

It looks like the predictions are correct. Snow White could lose a quarter of a BILLION dollars for Disney.

Maybe next time they should hire a likable star instead of a hot woke mess. Just a thought.

On-screen Message Warns Viewers This Disney Movie Was Made During A Time When People Weren’t Babies Who Got Offended By Everything | Babylon Bee

U.S. — A new on-screen message has been added to several old Disney films in order to warn viewers that these movies were made back in a different era when people weren’t tiny babies who got offended at everything.

The message explains that previous generations were busy dealing with real problems, such as stopping godless commies from taking over the world, and had no time to sit around crying about every little thing.

“These movies were made in a different culture,” explained streaming executive Ross Denison. “Before viewing, each family needs to be made aware that the culture these films were created in did not contain wussy little snowflakes who got their baby feelings hurt about everything. The family can then make the decision for themselves if they are comfortable viewing content from a time back when people weren’t completely pathetic.”

Families who wish to have more information can click on the warning for specifics about each individual film. “For example, if you click on the warning on Peter Pan, it will explain that people back then found the movie to be hilarious because they weren’t brain-dead, delicate flowers consumed by neo-Marxism,” explained Denison. “We hope these additions help people make better choices about what media they consume.”

At publishing time, several viewers had complained that the warning was triggering, and asked that streaming services add a trigger warning about the trigger warning.

Denzel Washington’s Faith Based Narcissism | Evangelical Dark Web

2024 has been a year marked with celebrity conversions to Christianity, among them Russell BrandNala Rae, and Hulk Hogan (though technically December 2023). And while we’ve been optimistic about the prospect of a national revival underway, that does not mean that every celebrity is sincere in their profession of faith. Jordan Peterson is quite antichristian despite branding himself as “wrestling” with God. Additionally, Denzel Washington has been baptized and is beginning his minister era. Denzel Washington is an actor best known for starring in Book of Eli, Training Day, and Remember The Titans.

According to the Instagram account BlackChurchTok, Denzel Washington was baptized at the Kelly Temple Church of God in Christ. The Church of God in Christ is a Black pentecostal denomination. But for Denzel Washington, his baptism is hardly his first foray into Christianity, a faith he has claimed for decades.

However, despite claiming Christ, Washington has a lesbian daughter and bragged about kissing a man for Gladiator II, for a scene not featured in the movie to Washington’s dissatisfaction.

Pairing this with Denzel Washington’s new ministry license, and this baptism is more a publicity stunt than a genuine conversion. The Bible is clear in 1 Timothy that pastors should not be a new convert, “so that he will not become conceited and fall into the condemnation.” PAul spoke these admonitions for such a time as this.

Babylon Bee Releases Movie | Babylon Bee

WORLD — Today marks the historic release day of January 6, The Most Deadliest Day, an already critically acclaimed documentary chronicling the deadliest and darkest and scariest event in world history: the January 6 insurrection.

Critics are lauding the film as “not the worst thing I’ve seen,” and “eh, kinda funny.” Liberals, on the other hand, have marked the momentous day by screaming and crying and wetting their pants in rage and confusion.

“How did we as a country get to the point where The Babylon Bee can just make a film about January 6 without facing serious consequences?” said a tearful Obama to reporters. “This film is an attack on our sacred democracy and the communist global order I have dedicated my whole life to building. I am literally shaking right now.”

Eyewitnesses confirmed Obama then calmed himself down by launching a drone attack in Yemen.

Attorney General Merrick Garland has also responded, instructing FBI field offices to keep a close eye on anyone who dares to watch the film. “Watching this film is an attack on our sacred democracy,” he said between sobs. “I am literally throwing up just thinking about it.”

Sources confirmed the new film is available at BabylonBee.com/january6 and is only available to subscribers.
