"…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. Trump DHS Secretary Kristi Noem recently offered some comments about voter integrity, saying that we have to make sure that the right people are voting. To anyone of even average intelligence, it is obvious that she is talking about making sure that only American citizens are voting, but the left is having a total meltdown over this.
She stresses the idea that the American people have to trust the outcome of elections. What’s the problem?
Noem boasts of Trump administration ensuring ‘we have the right people voting’ ahead of midterms
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem suggested on Friday that her department has a broad role in election security, claiming she has the authority to identify “vulnerabilities” in the election system and implement “mitigation measures” to make sure local and state elections are “run correctly.”
Noem argued during a press conference in Arizona, where she was pushing for passage of a national voter ID law, that elections fell within the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) mission of “maintaining critical infrastructure.”
“I would say that many people believe that it may be one of the most important things that we need to make sure we trust, is reliable, and that when it gets to Election Day, that we’ve been proactive to make sure that we have the right people voting, electing the right leaders to lead this country through the days that we have, knowing that people can trust it,” she said.
A clip of those comments began circulating on social media Saturday morning, drawing swift criticism from Democratic lawmakers and political commentators.
“This is Trump’s idea of democracy: leaders get to select their voters instead of the other way around,” Sen. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) wrote on the social platform X.
Here’s the video:

Anyone with a brain knows what she is talking about.
It's truly extraordinary to see we live in two separate realities when seeing these posts from the left. Any rational person knows she's talking about illegals voting.
White House Border Czar Tom Homan held a press conference Thursday morning, announcing that the Trump administration is ending its aggressive immigration enforcement operation in Minnesota.
Homan stated that he proposed ending the operation and that President Donald Trump has agreed.
“I have proposed, and President Trump has concurred, that this surge operation conclude,” Homan told reporters at the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building in Fort Snelling.

Operation Metro Surge began on December 1 and deployed approximately 3,000 federal immigration agents to the Twin Cities area.
The operation resulted in thousands of arrests and, according to Homan, “major successes.”
“As a result of our efforts here, Minnesota is now less of a sanctuary state for criminals,” Homan said. “The Twin Cities and Minnesota in general will continue to be much safer for the communities here because of what we have accomplished under President Trump’s leadership.”
Homan said that the operation “yielded the successful results we came here for,” citing improved cooperation with local law enforcement, a reduction in unlawful agitator activity, and the removal of public safety threats.

Homan explained, “We now have the ability to arrest criminal aliens in the safety and security of jails throughout the state at the time they’re being released… I’ve also directed the strategic placement of officers in certain areas throughout the state that can respond quickly to sheriffs that want to release somebody.”
A significant drawdown of agents is already underway this week and will continue into next week. Homan said he will remain on the ground “for a little longer” to ensure a smooth transition.
The announcement comes after more than two months of daily protests outside the federal building, where demonstrators clashed with agents and demanded an immediate end to the operation.
“For those that say we are backing down from immigration enforcement or the promise of mass deportations, you are simply wrong… prioritizing public safety threats and national security threats doesn’t mean we’re forgetting about everybody else,” Homan claimed.

Democrat Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey had both met with Homan recently and expressed hopes for a quick wind-down.
The operation drew national attention after two leftist anti-ICE agitators, Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old nurse, and Renee Good, also 37, were fatally shot in two separate incidents during enforcement actions in January.
Those incidents led to louder calls from Democrats to end ICE operations.
In a move slammed by the Department of Homeland Security as a “lawless abomination,” a federal judge appointed by Barack Obama has ordered the immediate release of four criminal illegal aliens, three convicted murderers, and a pedophile, from ICE detention at Louisiana’s Angola Prison.
U.S. District Judge John deGravelles ordered the release of the four men from the newly expanded ICE facility known as “Camp 57” or the “Louisiana Lockup” last week.
The men were being held pending removal after ICE re-detained them as part of the Trump administration’s aggressive enforcement of immigration laws.
The four illegal aliens released are:
Ibrahim Ali Mohammed, from Ethiopia — convicted of sexual exploitation of a minor. He was released into the United States by the Biden administration and had a final order of removal issued on September 5, 2024.

Luis Gaston-Sanchez, from Cuba — convicted of homicide, assault, resisting an officer, concealing stolen property, and two counts of robbery. Final removal order issued September 24, 2001.

Ricardo Blanco Chomat, from Cuba — convicted of homicide, kidnapping, aggravated assault with a firearm, burglary, robbery, larceny, and selling cocaine. Final removal order issued March 27, 2002.

Francisco Rodriguez-Romero, from Cuba — convicted of homicide and a weapons offense. Final removal order issued May 30, 1995.

Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin blasted the ruling in a press release from DHS.
“Judge John deGravelles, appointed by Barack Obama, released FOUR violent criminals back onto American communities, and unfortunately, the ramifications will only be the continued rape, murder, assault, and robbery of more American victims,” said McLaughlin.
McLaughlin continued, “Releasing these monsters is inexcusably reckless. President Trump and Secretary Noem are now enforcing the law and arresting illegal aliens who have no right to be in our country. We are applying the law as written. If an immigration judge finds an illegal alien has no right to be in this country, we are going to remove them. Period.”
The release comes despite all four having final deportation orders.
The men had been held at the Louisiana State Penitentiary (Angola) under a September partnership between DHS and the state to expand detention space specifically for criminal illegal aliens.
DHS emphasized that the agency is working “rapidly and overtime” to remove criminal illegal aliens from the country, even as activist judges continue to interfere.
The four men were released from custody shortly after the judge’s order and are now roaming American streets.
Democrats and liberals believe they have stumbled onto a smoking gun that will prove their contention that ICE is Nazis and that the United States should have open borders. According to a leaked internal DHS document allegedly obtained by CBS News and reported on February 9, 2026, less than 14 percent of the nearly 400,000 immigrants arrested by ICE during the first year of the Trump administration had charges or convictions for violent criminal offenses.
Neither DHS nor CBS has published the document. As a result, the CBS report relies entirely on numbers the network claims to have seen, without allowing independent verification. The story has since been repeated across multiple mainstream media outlets, none of which have seen the document themselves and all of which are simply referencing the original CBS report.
It is important to note that being in the country illegally is itself grounds for deportation. No additional criminal charges are required, and one hundred percent of deportees meet this criterion.
The media often claim that people with pending asylum cases, green card holders, or individuals legally present in the country have been deported. This is untrue. A more accurate statement is that many people who previously held legal status lost that status for reasons such as violating the terms of a residency permit, missing a court date, or having an application denied. None of these constitute a criminal conviction or criminal charges, which helps explain the low percentage of deportees with criminal records.
Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin has publicly countered the CBS framing by stating that 70 percent of arrests involve “criminal illegal aliens.” That higher figure includes non-violent offenses such as traffic violations, DUI, or illegal entry. While illegal entry is often assumed to be a misdemeanor, it can be prosecuted as a felony. In practice, it frequently is not, because the government’s primary objective is deportation rather than incarceration.
Under the illegal re-entry statute, 8 U.S.C. § 1326, any individual who has previously been deported and then returns unlawfully commits an automatic felony punishable by up to two years in prison.
The remaining deportees were in the country illegally through either illegal entry or visa overstay. Under Title 8 of the U.S. Code, unlawful presence alone is a deportable offense regardless of criminal history.
Another factor inflating the “non-criminal” numbers is what ICE refers to as collateral arrests. Under current 2025 and 2026 guidelines, officers are instructed to arrest any undocumented individual they encounter while executing a warrant for someone else. If ICE goes to a home or apartment complex to arrest one person for a violent felony and encounters additional illegal aliens, all are arrested. In the data, this appears as one criminal arrest alongside multiple non-criminal administrative arrests, even though all are unlawfully present.
ICE has also returned to a no-exemptions enforcement posture. Under earlier policies, agents might have arrested a criminal target and left undocumented family members behind. Now, everyone present without legal status is generally taken into custody. As enforcement has shifted away from jail-based arrests and toward at-large community operations, officers are increasingly encountering entire households. This shift lowers the percentage of arrests involving criminal charges without changing the total number of people legally subject to removal.
A second major category counted as “non-criminal” consists of individuals with final orders of removal. Recent 2025 and 2026 trends show that roughly 30 to 40 percent of interior ICE arrests involve people who were already ordered to leave by an immigration judge but failed to comply.
ICE has expanded its focus on Fugitive Operations, targeting those who skipped court or ignored deportation orders. While these individuals may not have committed a new street crime, they are fugitives under immigration law, which further explains why they are labeled “non-criminal” in media reporting.
Taken together, the widely cited 14 percent figure is a statistical artifact of broad enforcement rather than evidence of indiscriminate targeting. When enforcement is applied to entire households and long-standing immigration fugitives, the criminal percentage inevitably declines. Yet in every case, whether a primary target, a collateral arrest, or a fugitive from a prior court order, one hundred percent are unlawfully present and legally subject to removal.
If Democrats are genuinely concerned about the ratio of violent offenders to individuals with no criminal record, they could significantly alter that ratio by turning over violent offenders and convicted criminals currently shielded by sanctuary jurisdictions. As of February 10, 2026, the Department of Homeland Security has directly accused California of releasing thousands of criminal offenders who could have been deported if local authorities had cooperated with ICE.
California’s sanctuary policies, particularly Senate Bill 54, restrict local law enforcement from notifying ICE or honoring detainers that request offenders be held for pickup. On February 6, 2026, DHS reported that since January 20, 2025, California jurisdictions released 4,561 criminal illegal aliens into the community despite active ICE detainers.
DHS states these releases included individuals charged with or convicted of 31 homicides, 661 assaults, and 234 sexual offenses. Had those offenders been transferred to ICE custody, they would have been deported, substantially increasing the proportion of deportees with serious criminal records.
The dispute has intensified amid a broader clash between Sacramento and Washington. ICE Acting Director Todd Lyons recently urged California officials to honor detainers for 33,179 illegal aliens currently held in the state’s jails and prisons. DHS claims this group includes nearly 400 murderers and more than 1,200 sexual predators.
Governor Gavin Newsom’s office has dismissed those figures as misleading, arguing that California cooperates with ICE for inmates convicted of serious or violent felonies in state prisons. At the same time, the state continues to restrict cooperation in county jails, where many offenders are held pretrial or for offenses classified as non-serious under state law.
By blocking ICE access to violent offenders already in custody, sanctuary jurisdictions force enforcement into the community. When agents search for a single criminal target, they frequently arrest additional undocumented individuals in the same household or neighborhood.
That policy choice inflates non-criminal arrest numbers and drives down the apparent percentage of violent offenders, producing the very statistics now being cited as evidence of misconduct.

Noses and Faces Cities across the nation held anti-ICE demonstrations, demanding the removal and elimination of ICE. I do wonder how they’ll feel when immigration enforcement is no more. I know it’s been abused, but there are too many instances of people here illegally committing dangerous crimes that would never have happened if … there was proper immigration enforcement. And we’ve seen the negative outcome when law enforcement is defunded and crime runs rampant. So … let’s try that again, right?
The Rabble Wins The lawless advocates win. The Trump administration is removing 700 federal agents from Minnesota with an aim to completely removing all as soon as possible. Whatever we do, enforcing the law should be stopped and stopped immediately. We’ll start with illegal immigration, reclassifying it as “not illegal … just not legal,” and then move on from there. We’ll stop when there’s no more need for law enforcement, I guess, simply by definition. That’ll fix it. Just define everyone as “basically good” and move on.
Politically Correct? The Supreme Court is allowing California to do what other states have been blocked from doing. They passed their proposition to further disenfranchise Republican voters and use their gerrymandered congressional maps to net 5 more Democrat seats. They did in in protest of Texas trying to do the same to favor Republicans, a clear case of double standards. Since the Supreme Court allowed Texas to do it, I suppose they had to allow California to do it. The state of politics today is deplorable.

No lie is too big for California Governor Gavin Newsom, even when such falsehoods have the potential to put the lives of Americans in danger.
The Department of Homeland Security on Friday sent out a press release on Friday, revealing that 33,179 illegals are in California’s custody, yet the state government is refusing to honor the ICE detainers. The crimes by these prisoners include 399 homicides, 3,313 assaults, 3,171 burglaries, 1,011 robberies, 8,380 dangerous drugs offenses, 1,984 weapons offenses, and 1,293 sexual predatory offenses.
This policy by California has resulted in 4,561 criminal illegal aliens being released since January 20.
DHS Secretary Kristi Noem demanded that Newsom change course and cooperate with the Trump Administration on immigration.
“I am urgently calling on @gavinnewsom to agree to NOT release the 33,179 criminal illegal aliens in California’s custody back into the public without notifying ICE,” she wrote.

Newsom responded to Noem’s post, claiming that California always follows the law and cooperates with ICE to remove violent criminals.
He then mocked her for supposedly not doing her homework.
“California follows the law, and we work with ICE to remove violent criminals — not innocent families,” Newsom fired back. “What we especially don’t do is play politics with public safety or spread misinformation.”
“Google is free, @KristiNoem.”

But this is nothing but a massive lie. Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli noted in a subsequent tweet that current California law bars county jails from turning over prisoners to immigration authorities.
“It’s illegal for them to honor a detainer, even if they wanted to,” he added.

The law in question is the California Values Act (SB 54), signed into law in 2017 by then-Governor Jerry Brown. The legislation bars state and local resources from being used to assist federal immigration enforcement, including county jails, schools, hospitals, and courthouses.
The anti-ICE protests in Minnesota are far from organic. In fact, several groups mobilizing against law enforcement are reportedly funded by exactly who you’re expecting: George Soros.
Sixteen activist groups mobilizing against immigration agents in Minnesota have one thing in common: financial support from a nonprofit backed by the Soros family’s Open Society Foundations.
The Minneapolis-based Headwaters Foundation for Justice awarded $3,321,013 in funds and non-cash assistance since 2014 to groups that nowseek to monitor Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or protest the agency, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation analysis of tax filings, activists’ websites and their social media posts. One related protest at the Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) airport led to around 100 arrests on Jan. 23.
…
Liberal philanthropynonprofits disclosed millions in donations to the Headwaters Foundation for more than a decade, including $300,000 in 2020 from Open Society Foundations, which George Soros created and his son now leads. The nonprofit did not respond to a request for comment.
According to the Caller, several of the groups behind the “ICE Out” marches on January 23 were funded by the Headwaters Foundation. The Caller notes that “Mizna, Unidos MN, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Minnesota, Communities Organizing Latine Power and Action (COPAL), Centro de Trabajadores Unidos en la Lucha (CTUL), Jewish Community Action, Voices for Racial Justice, Minnesota Freedom Fund and the LGBTQ groups OutFront Minnesota and Gender Justice” all received indirect funding from the Soros family through Headwaters.
And it’s not just Soros pushing anti-ICE rhetoric and activism. Left wing foreign activists have also been doxxing federal law enforcement agents, according to Human Events:
Left-wing foreign activists have published personal information on more than 4,500 former and current Department of Homeland Security agents on a wiki-style website titled “ICE List Wiki.”
The site includes names, photos, work locations, and details about field operations for agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Customs and Border Protection, Homeland Security Investigations, Enforcement and Removal Operations, and US Citizenship and Immigration Services.
The website was founded by Irish citizen Dominick Skinner, who currently lives in the Netherlands, and is hosted on servers located in Iceland. Skinner told The Daily Beast that a leaker within DHS supplied the personal information of roughly 4,500 federal agents, with about half of them currently having individual profiles published on the site.
Skinner reportedly claims his website was designed to serve as “a resource for activists and journalists to monitor and provide oversight of ICE operations.” However, Human Events notes that his website comes at a time when death threats against ICE agents and their families are up by more than 8,000%. Posting names, photos, and work locations only further endangers these innocent agents.
Perhaps the biggest takeaway from these two stories is that the anti-ICE movement is not nearly as organic as the media would have you believe. It is bankrolled by billionaires and supplemented by foreigners, neither of whom are truly concerned with the cares and interests of the common American.
Our nation is not safe. Federal law enforcement agents like those in ICE are doing all they can to change that. Let’s pray that these brave men and women would be protected from all attacks, threats, and accusations!
Anti-ICE resistance training manuals, including de-arresting and blocking, are being distributed, and in some cases, the training is being held in schools receiving government funding. Image of de-arresting by Minnesota ICE Watch.
Minnesota ICE Watch, the organization that Renee Good and her wife were members of, distributed a document known as the “De-Arrest Primer,” which instructs activists on how to physically interfere with law enforcement officers during arrests. The manual provides detailed guidance on pulling detainees from officers’ grips, pushing and pulling officers, breaking holds, and opening law enforcement vehicles to free suspects.
The manual also teaches the use of coordinated chanting to create confusion and overwhelm officers during active arrests, as well as surrounding officers until they release detainees.
The guide openly acknowledges that these actions may constitute criminal offenses but argues that the risk is justified. Each successful interference is described as a “micro-intifada,” framed as a tactic meant to spread, replicate, and inspire wider disruption. The manual claims these methods originated in pro-Palestinian campus protests and presents them as a model for broader resistance activity.
While no single formal publisher is identified, the manual appears to originate from broader activist and radical networks that promote direct physical interference with law enforcement. It has circulated widely through Instagram and other activist communication channels and has been used in training individuals described as “constitutional observers” or “ICE watchers.”
Minnesota ICE Watch reposted the manual in June, prior to the 2026 surge in anti-ICE activity, and linked it to training sessions focused on disrupting arrests.
Mainstream media coverage has frequently described ICE Watch activity as “nonviolent observation,” omitting the physical interference tactics detailed in the manual. The document, however, is clear evidence of organized agitation and deliberate instruction in confronting law enforcement.
Numerous anti-ICE training handbooks and manuals are being produced and circulated in the United States. Some are linked to specific anti-ICE resistance groups that also provide training, organize protests, and conduct patrols. These include organizations such as COPAL MN (Comunidades Organizando El Poder y la Acción Latina), the Immigrant Defense Network (IDN), and related groups.
Much of the training, organizing, and distribution of anti-ICE resistance has taken place at schools receiving public funds, raising questions about whether groups instigating actions against the government should be allowed to receive taxpayer money. Furthermore, mainstream media have attempted to present the anti-ICE resistance training at schools as a reaction to the Renee Good shooting. However, many of these groups were already active at schools prior to the January 7, 2026 shooting.
Because of the deployment of nearly 3,000 ICE agents to the area in late 2025, several parent-teacher groups at the school attended by Renee Good’s son had already formed volunteer “safety committees.”
These committees held meetings, some on school grounds and others at nearby community centers, to discuss how to handle encounters with federal agents. The training included the use of “red cards,” commonly referred to as Know Your Rights materials, as well as coordinating neighborhood watch schedules.
These groups were effectively training parents to stalk and harass federal agents.
There are also reports that Know Your Rights handbooks and anti-ICE materials were distributed through school channels or by volunteers stationed at school gates. Wallet-sized “red cards” and booklets explaining how to refuse consent for searches were widely distributed to parents during drop-off and pick-up.
While the school district maintains that it does not distribute “propaganda,” critics point to the Minneapolis Federation of Teachers, which was vocal in its anti-ICE stance, and to reports that teachers helped distribute these materials to families they deemed “at risk.”
Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem and federal spokespeople later alleged that Good had been stalking and impeding ICE agents throughout the morning and linked her actions directly to the anti-ICE training she reportedly received through community networks centered around her son’s school. They pointed to the use of whistles, walkie-talkies, and blocking maneuvers practiced by these groups in the weeks leading up to January 7 as evidence of organized resistance.
Neighbors said Renee Good regularly attended ICE Watch meetings and received training from the group prior to her death during an ICE-related confrontation. The manual portrays arrest as inherently harmful and asserts that compliance or passivity leads to greater damage than resistance. It encourages escalation to undermine what it describes as an oppressive ruling system.
Renee Nicole Good’s six-year-old son attends a small “social justice” charter school in Minneapolis that explicitly promotes political and social activism. The school teaches students about topics such as George Floyd, racism, sexism, classism, homophobia, and what it describes as “aboriginal issues.” A former teacher said many parents are activists, and that the curriculum emphasizes critical thinking tied to activism and encourages children to engage with social causes.
According to the former staff member, when ICE agents were stationed several blocks from the school during heightened protests, administrators instructed teachers to report any ICE presence on school property.
Good was later killed during an ICE operation after allegedly striking an agent with her SUV, prompting the agent to fire in self-defense. Newly surfaced video showed Good’s wife urging her to accelerate toward the agent moments before the shooting. The school was described as an active participant in organizing resistance, distributing materials, and hosting training before the shooting occurred.
Defending Education launched a searchable national database identifying K–12 school districts that have adopted policies limiting cooperation with ICE and other federal immigration authorities.
The database covers more than 700 districts across 33 states and Washington, D.C., and includes districts that have declared themselves “sanctuary” or “safe haven” schools, passed formal resolutions, or issued written guidance directing staff on how to respond if immigration agents seek access to school campuses. Parents can search by state and district and review the actual policy language rather than relying on summaries or public statements.
Defending Education argues that school districts restricting cooperation with federal law enforcement are placing themselves in direct conflict with federal authority and risking public safety. The group warns that such policies may unintentionally shield individuals who should be subject to deportation and that schools are increasingly acting as political actors in immigration disputes rather than focusing solely on education.
Since the Renee Good shooting, there have been calls from conservative parents to shut down or defund the school because they see the anti-ICE training as contrary to government policy and believe schools receiving any government funding should not be teaching anti-government resistance.
Conservative groups like Defending Education have specifically publicized that Minneapolis schools were facilitating walkout guides and “Day of Action” strategies. They argue that by allowing these materials to be distributed via school channels, the district effectively endorsed a “culture of resistance” against federal law.

Dishonest media reports have led the public to believe that during Trump’s second term, U.S. citizens have been deported by ICE, yet those making the claim cannot name a single case or provide one verified example. Much like viral videos of conservatives asking liberals to define what a woman is before engaging in discussions about transgender issues, no one has been able to demonstrate that U.S. citizens have been deported under Trump.
When an attempt is made to prove the claim, the article cited almost always falls into one of three categories.
First, the person in the story is not a U.S. citizen, but the media uses misleading language such as “a Maryland man” or “he feels like he is an American.” In some cases, the individual is a U.S. military veteran who served as a noncitizen. Military service does not automatically confer citizenship. However, media headlines often lead with phrases like “U.S. military veteran deported,” causing readers to assume the person was a citizen.
Second, citizen children who left the United States with their parents at the parents’ request. This is not a deportation. The child is legally allowed to stay in the United States, leave with their parents, or return later.
Third, a very small number of complicated cases involving derivative citizenship. If a parent naturalizes before a child turns 18, the child automatically becomes a citizen. However, the child must still apply for and receive citizenship documentation.
In some cases, individuals are deported years later while claiming citizenship but lacking paperwork. In every case I have examined, there were additional complications, such as the parent naturalizing after the child turned 18. In a few instances, a child was born overseas on a U.S. military base to a noncitizen parent and assumed citizenship applied. U.S. military bases abroad are not considered U.S. soil for birthright citizenship. Only children born to at least one U.S. citizen parent qualify in those circumstances.
If a child is born out of wedlock to a U.S. citizen father and a noncitizen mother abroad, the father must legally acknowledge the child before the child turns 18. If the father naturalizes and lives with the child but never signs an acknowledgment of paternity or marries the mother before the child turns 18, the child never becomes a citizen. Several men in their 40s have been deported under Trump because their parents were not married and their fathers never completed the required documentation decades earlier.
The next major lie is the claim that U.S. citizens have been arrested by ICE. This claim hinges on a deliberate confusion between the definitions of detained and arrested. Media reports frequently cite 2025–2026 data claiming that more than 170 U.S. citizens were detained due to database errors or lack of immediate documentation. ICE arrests noncitizens for immigration violations. ICE does not have the legal authority to arrest U.S. citizens for immigration violations, though ICE agents may arrest U.S. citizens for criminal acts unrelated to immigration.
ICE does detain individuals suspected of being illegal aliens. A detention can last as little as a minute or two while a person provides proof of identity and citizenship, or it can extend for hours or days, particularly if the individual does not cooperate. There have been numerous cases in which U.S. citizens were temporarily detained by ICE, asked for documentation, and then either refused to provide documents or refused to communicate. Once citizenship was verified, they were released. Despite this distinction, media coverage has led readers to believe that U.S. citizens are being arrested by ICE.
Under the Fourth Amendment, ICE must have reasonable suspicion to stop an individual and probable cause to make an arrest. However, if a person matches a profile associated with an enforcement operation, such as being present at a targeted worksite, and refuses to answer questions or provide identification, agents often use that refusal as a basis to prolong detention for status verification.
The Department of Homeland Security has defended these practices by issuing fact sheets, including those released in October 2025, stating that most U.S. citizens appearing in detention statistics were not held for immigration violations. Instead, they were detained or arrested for obstruction or interference. DHS maintains that once a person identifies themselves and databases confirm citizenship, the individual is released.
A frequently cited example is George Retes, a U.S. citizen who was held for several days due to a lack of immediate cooperation. Retes was working as a security guard at a marijuana farm in Camarillo, California, during a large multi-agency raid on July 10, 2025. According to DHS reports, he became violent and refused to comply with law enforcement commands during the operation. He did not immediately present identification that agents considered verifiable on-site and was accused of interfering with the raid. As a result, he was held under an interference-related process for three days. His family was unable to locate him during that period because he was being processed under that designation. He was released only after his legal status was confirmed through secondary database checks and his family provided his birth certificate.
Another claim is that ICE is arresting or deporting Native Americans, but in this instance, the story was fabricated. In mid-January 2026, media outlets and tribal leaders sparked national outrage with claims that ICE had illegally detained four Oglala Sioux members, all U.S. citizens, during a raid on a Minneapolis homeless encampment. The narrative further alleged that DHS was holding the men hostage by refusing to release their identities unless the tribe signed an immigration enforcement agreement.
However, by January 16, Oglala Sioux President Frank Star Comes Out was forced to walk back the claims, admitting the tribe could not verify that any members had actually been encountered by ICE. DHS confirmed it had no record of the arrests and that the alleged detainees did not exist in its databases, revealing that the entire controversy stemmed from a single unverified eyewitness report.
Lastly, there are outraged claims that ICE has no right to detain, arrest, or deport a U.S. permanent resident. In reality, permanent residency is not a guarantee of permanent status. Under U.S. law, a lawful permanent resident can lose that status under several circumstances.
A green card holder becomes deportable upon conviction for certain crimes, including Crimes Involving Moral Turpitude (CIMTs) and aggravated felonies. In such cases, removal can occur regardless of how long the individual has lived in the United States.
Permanent residency can also be lost through abandonment. If an LPR remains outside the United States for an extended period, typically more than six months without a reentry permit, or establishes a primary residence in another country, the government may determine that the individual has abandoned their status.
Fraud is another basis for revocation. If authorities later discover that a green card was obtained through marriage fraud, false statements on an application, or other material misrepresentations, the status can be rescinded, even decades after it was granted.
The media has found numerous ways to spin the truth about deportations in order to stoke anger and, in some cases, violence against ICE. What is even more dishonest is that this anger is often misplaced. ICE does not make decisions on deportations; immigration judges do. ICE does not decide to cancel a green card. That action is taken by a judge through legal proceedings. ICE’s role is to enforce immigration law, yet it is being portrayed as if it independently determines who stays or goes.
The violent clashes that are causing so much chaos in the streets of our major cities aren’t going to stop. Tens of thousands of anti-ICE activists have already been recruited, and more are joining their ranks with each passing day. At this stage, the only thing that could put a lid on the volcano of fury that we are witnessing would be if President Trump decided to pull ICE out of all of our cities and stop deportations. Of course there is no way that is going to happen. In fact, as you will see below, Trump is now converting 23 enormous warehouses around the country into giant ICE detention centers. The goal is to deport a million immigrants per year, and that means that the war between ICE and anti-ICE protesters is just getting started.
I have always warned that civil unrest would be one of the key elements of “the perfect storm” that our society would be forced to endure, and now we have reached a stage where the civil unrest never seems to stop.
On Friday, law enforcement authorities used pepper balls and tear gas to disperse “a mob of violent agitators” that had gathered in front of the federal detention center in Los Angeles…
Los Angeles police arrested multiple violent agitators after issuing dispersal orders as protests erupted across the city Friday evening.
Thousands of protesters met in front of City Hall in the afternoon, before many marched to the federal detention center, where a mob of violent agitators swarmed the area, pushing a large construction dumpster and blocking the entrance to the building’s loading dock.
LAPD shared video on social media of the unrest, adding in a separate post that authorities had deployed pepper balls and tear gas to disperse the crowd.
Even after pepper balls and tear gas had been used, some of the protesters continue to throw bottles, rocks and “other objects” at the police…
While some protesters dispersed, others remained and continued to throw bottles and rocks at officers, according to the LAPD.
In addition, the department said that federal authorities were being hit with “debris, bottles and other objects,” resulting in authorities declaring an unlawful assembly at the detention center.
Footage of the violence that took place on Friday evening is extremely disturbing.
Of course this wasn’t the first anti-ICE violence that we have seen in L.A., and it most certainly won’t be the last.
By the late afternoon, there were thousands of people participating in a protest in South Portland that began at Elizabeth Caruthers Park, according to the Portland Police Bureau, who monitored the activity. Local labor unions organized the demonstration.
The crowd later marched to the ICE facility a few blocks away, closing down South Bancroft Street.
Around 5 p.m., federal agents deployed several rounds of tear gas, pepper balls, and flash-bang munitions into the crowd, including children, as observed by KOIN 6 News Reporter Ariel Salk in the field. The crowd dwindled to less than 1,000 people after that.
The reason why this didn’t make headline news all over the nation is because this sort of thing has become quite common in Portland.
Shockingly, one protester says that someone actually brought a “kid in a stroller” to the event…
“There were so many people who came out, there were parents, kids. I saw one kid in a stroller with a little helmet on. And we were all marching down the street towards the building to protest. And there was — it was like fog had rolled in — it was coming down the street,” one protester said.
Why would you bring a “kid in a stroller” to a protest where tear gas and pepper balls are almost certainly going to be used?
A second wave of tear gas, as well as pepper balls and flash-bang munitions, was deployed into the crowd by federal agents around 6 p.m. After that, only a few hundred people remained.
KOIN 6 also saw people move a dumpster into the vehicle entryway of the ICE building just before the second round of tear gas was deployed. By the time the smoke cleared, the dumpster was gone.
Portland has been a war zone for much of the past year.
Sadly, it appears that the violence in the city is now escalating.
Meanwhile, the craziness in Minnesota never seems to end.
Multiple Target stores across Minnesota and in other states were targeted by protesters with demands for Target’s corporate leadership to prevent Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents from being allowed in Target stores to arrest criminals.
Video from a Target location in Richfield, Minnesota, shows reportedly over 100 protesters illegally marching through the store, chanting, “The people united will never be defeated,” while holding a Socialist Alternative banner that read, “National Strike Shut Down Trump & ICE.” Local police were at the scene but refused to do anything as the anti-ICE protesters berated them and called for Target to be shut down.
At one location in West St. Paul, a police officer made it abundantly clear that his heart was very much with the protesters…
At a West St. Paul, Minnesota Target protest, a police officer lauded the protesters, saying, “I appreciate what you guys are doing. I understand what you guys are doing. Unfortunately, the store has the right to do what they need to do,” after threatening to arrest them for trespassing. “I have a hard job. As much as I want to come over here, and you know what I mean, and do what I need to do, I still have a job to do, unfortunately. And so, I appreciate you guys,” he continued.
The entire state has been thrown into an uproar thanks to what has transpired over the last couple of months.
The deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti have just added fuel to the fire, and now we are being told that over 34,000 people in the state of Minnesota have signed up to be part of Minnesota’s anti-ICE army…
More than 34,000 Minnesotans have signed up to be trained as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement observers with various activist groups in recent weeks, many of them since Jan. 7, when a federal agent shot and killed Renée Good, a poet and mother of three, after an encounter with an ICE convoy in South Minneapolis.
The killings of Good and, on Saturday, ICU nurse Alex Pretti underscore the dangers for the city’s widespread resistance movement, a loosely connected network of neighborhood volunteers who communicate on Signal, the private messaging app, as they play cat and mouse with heavily armed and masked federal agents on snowy streets.
This week these ICE observers vowed to continue their work despite signs of a political thaw on the national stage, after Trump removed controversial border patrol head Greg Bovino from Minneapolis and renewed talks with Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), a frequent critic.
The anti-ICE forces outnumber the ICE agents that have been deployed to the state by a more than 10 to 1 margin.
ICE has arrested a criminal illegal alien from Mexico after the alien rammed into an ICE vehicle this morning in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Tranquilino Sixto-Anorve had a criminal record of multiple charges for driving under the influence.
Sixto-Anorve was taken into ICE detention at the Whipple federal building in Minneapolis, where anti-ICE demonstrators were seen earlier on Saturday parading in the streets in animal costumes, singing, “Kristi Noem is a bird-legged hoe.”
One thing has become very clear.
No matter what happens, the Trump administration is not going to stop deporting people.
The Trump administration is moving ahead with plans to convert 23 e-commerce warehouses across the country, primarily in the eastern U.S., into a large-scale network of immigration detention centers aimed at expanding capacity to fulfill the mandate the American people gave President Trump to deport more than one million illegal aliens per year and restore national security. This comes after the Biden-Harris globalist regime collapsed borders and allowed a nation-killing invasion of ten million or more third-worlders.
Bloomberg reports that Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s rapid move to build out a network of warehouses is being fueled by $45 billion from the signature “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.” This includes the most recent purchases of a warehouse in Hagerstown, Maryland, and another in Surprise, Arizona, totaling $172 million. A third in El Paso, Texas, will be one of the largest of its kind, with 8,500 beds.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has purchased a massive warehouse in the West Valley, according to Maricopa County property records.
Filings showed the federal government purchased the more than 400,000 square-foot facility near Sweetwater Avenue and Dysart Road for $70 million in cash from RG Surprise, LLC last Friday.
According to an archived listing, the warehouse completed by Rockefeller Group was previously called the Surprise Pointe Commerce Center and was primarily set up to accommodate one to four tenants.
The Trump administration has no intention of backing down.
Neither do the anti-ICE protesters.
I believe that we will see things happen in the streets of America this year that we have never seen before.

President Trump on Friday gave a strong defense of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem as the left and Democratic lawmakers call for her ouster and scheme to impeach her following the midterm elections.
This comes after the shooting deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, two violent rioters in Minneapolis who attacked federal law enforcement.
“The Radical Left Lunatics, Insurrectionists, Agitators, and Thugs, are going after Kristi Noem, the Secretary of Homeland Security, because she is a woman, and has done a really GREAT JOB!” Trump said, reiterating his support for Noem as DHS Secretary.
“The Border disaster that I inherited is fixed, the violent criminals that were allowed into our Country through Sleepy Joe’s “sick” Open Border Policy, are largely gone, or being strongly sought for purposes of removal, and the Murder Rate in the USA just reached the lowest level in history, 125 years! Washington, D.C., is now one of the safest cities in America – Likewise, numerous other once very dangerous cities!”
Trump further slammed the “Crooked Democrats, who are stealing Billions of Dollars from Minnesota, and other Cities and States from all over the Country,” telling Republicans not to let them “push you around.”
“They are using this aggressive protest SCAM to obfuscate, camouflage, and hide their CRIMINAL ACTS of theft and insurrection. They should all be in jail. I was elected on Strong Borders, and Law and Order, among many other things,” Trump added, thanking Kristi Noem for helping to secure America’s borders.

I was elected on Strong Borders, and Law and Order, among many other things. Thank you to Secretary Kristi Noem. Remember, ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES!!! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP
Earlier this week, Trump responded to calls for Noem to resign or be fired amid the chaos in Minnesota, shutting down a reporter at the White House with a resounding “No.”
“I think she’s doing a very good job,” Trump added.
“The border is totally secure,” the President said. “You forget, we had a border that I inherited where millions of people were coming through. Now, we have a border where no one is coming through.”
President Trump, once again, highlighted the massive theft and fraud of welfare programs by Somali aliens this morning, slamming Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Rep. Ilhan Omar of Somalia, calling for her deportation.
“Omar and her absolutely terrible friends from Somalia should all be in jail right now or, far worse, send them back to Somalia,” Trump said.
This comes after Trump sent Tom Homan to Minneapolis to deal with Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey.
However, on Tuesday after meeting with Homan, the Minnesota Governor laid out demands for “swift, significant reduction” in federal agents deployed to Minnesota, and “an end to the campaign of retribution.” Earlier, Walz had already taken a victory lap before meeting with Homan, declaring in an interview that what he described as a “massive organized nonviolent resistance” forced the Trump Administration to back down, a win for the radical thugs rioting in the streets of Minnesota.
Mayor Frey, who previously told ICE to “get the f*ck out of Minneapolis,” doubled down on his refusal to cooperate with the federal government, announcing on social media, “I shared with Mr. Homan the serious negative impacts this operation has had on Minneapolis and surrounding communities, as well as the strain it has placed on our local police officers.” Frey added, “I also made it clear that Minneapolis does not and will not enforce federal immigration laws, and that we will remain focused on keeping our neighbors and streets safe.”
Homan later announced that he plans to “draw down on the number of people” from ICE and CBP stationed in Minneapolis. Homan told reporters that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison had agreed to do the bare minimum and hand over illegal aliens from their prisons and jails instead of releasing them back into the community.
“Attorney General Keith Ellison clarified for me that county jails may notify ICE of the release dates of criminal public safety risks so ICE can take custody of them, upon their release from the jail,” Homan said. This is great if you trust Minnesota officials.
But Trump highlighted another glaring issue in Minnesota, slamming Tim Walz and Somali-born fraudster, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).
“The Theft and Fraud in Minnesota is far greater than the 19 Billion Dollars originally projected,” Trump said.
“‘Governor’ Waltz is either the most CORRUPT government official in history, or the most INCOMPETENT. Even a very low IQ person, of which there are many, should have known what was going on in Minnesota!!!”

The Theft and Fraud in Minnesota is far greater than the 19 Billion Dollars originally projected. The Biden Administration knew this FRAUD was happening, and did absolutely nothing about it. “Scammer” Illhan Omar and her absolutely terrible friends from Somalia should all be in jail right now or, far worse, send them back to Somalia. “Governor” Waltz is either the most CORRUPT government official in history, or the most INCOMPETENT. Even a very low IQ person, of which there are many, should have known what was going on in Minnesota!!! President DJT
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the President said in a statement earlier this week, “a major investigation is going on with respect to the massive 20 Billion Dollar, Plus, Welfare Fraud that has taken place in Minnesota, and is at least partially responsible for the violent organized protests going on in the streets.”
He further noted that Omar is under investigation by House Republicans, probing how she went from low-IQ Somali to multi-millionaire while serving in Congress. Omar, whose community has stolen billions of dollars from the American people, has reportedly gone from being worth $51,000 in 2023 to as much as $30 million now.
The lies of the Left are getting bigger and crazier by the day. Not only are they deceptive, but many encourage others to commit violent acts, or defy the law. In today’s divisive world, the truth tellers must be bold, so that falsehoods do not gain a foothold.
Nurse Encourages Followers to Poison ICE Agents
The first lie told by the Left this week comes from a nurse who believes she’s part of the “resistance” and “helping the cause” when it comes to fighting against ICE agents. Perhaps many Americans believe they’ve heard it all when it comes to the erratic, irrational, and hateful responses to ICE officers in recent weeks. A nurse identified as Melinda from VCU Health, however, may win the award for malicious intent because her videos openly encourage people to poison ICE agents.
WND and the Libs of TikTok posted videos of the nurse as she spewed hateful ideas. In the shocking footage, the woman brags, “I thought of something good…sabotage tactic, or at least a scare tactic. All the medical providers, grab some syringes with needles on the end–have them full of saline or succinylcholine, whatever. That will probably be a deterrent.”
In another video she suggests, “for today’s resistance tip, I vote anybody got any poison ivy, poison oak in their yard? Get some of that…get it in some water, like a gallon of water, get the poison ivy/oak in water and I’m going to put it into a water gun. Aim for faces, hands.”
If that weren’t enough, the nurse, who can be seen wearing her medical scrubs in the video, insists that single women “could help the cause” if they “get on Tinder, get on Hinge, find these guys–if they are an ICE agent, bring some Ex-Lax, put it in their drinks. Get em sick…let’s get them where they eat. Somebody’s not going to be supporting these guys–where’s the hotel where they eat? Who makes their breakfast? Let’s find them. Let’s make their lives f****** miserable…Talk to the people who work at the places where they are…just stay toxic.”
Nurse Fired for Dangerous Rhetoric
Thankfully, this wayward nurse was fired for her insensitive, dangerous vitriol. “Following an investigation, the individual involved in the social media videos is no longer employed by VCU Health,” the hospital said in a statement. The VCU Police are also investigating the nurse after her post went viral.
Melinda the nurse mentions injecting succinylcholine into ICE agents. For background, its main uses are “to induce rapid, temporary muscle relaxation for easier tracheal intubation (placing a breathing tube) during surgery under general anesthesia.” Doc T MD/PhD explained further on X, “This is not grounds for firing. This is grounds for arrest and attempted murder. Succinylcholine is a paralytic used only in emergency settings because immediately after injecting, patients are paralyzed and must be intubated. Without intubation, they die.”
The Left continues to propagate the lie that ICE agents are Nazis who are kidnapping law-abiding immigrants. This stirs up anger and hatred among people who are ill-informed. Violence and harmful acts are becoming an all-too-common response, even among people who are charged with overseeing our health.
Arizona Attorney General Says Stand Your Ground with ICE
The next lie told by the Left this week involves Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes who is facing calls to resign after several interviews where she warned that ICE agents and Arizona’s Stand Your Ground laws could end up clashing.
In an interview with 12News she said, “It’s kind of a recipe for disaster because you have these masked federal officers with very little identification, sometimes no identification, wearing plain clothes and masks. And we have a Stand Your Ground law that says that if you reasonably believe that your life is in danger and you’re in your house or your car or your property, that you can defend yourself with lethal force.”
Mayes added, “I mean if somebody comes at me wearing a mask–by the way, I’m a gun owner–I can’t tell whether they’re a police officer, what am I supposed to do? No, I’m not suggesting people pull out their guns, but this is a Don’t Tread on Me state…real cops don’t wear masks.”
Mayes received significant backlash for her comments. Subsequently, she released a statement charging that “right-wing media” mischaracterized her words and intent.
Some of her message reads, “Despite how right-wing media has mischaracterized recent comments I made about ICE and the danger its actions pose to public safety, the idea that I would want the life of any member of law enforcement put in danger is wrong, offensive, and an outright lie. Danger to law enforcement is the very thing I want to avoid in Arizona. But I will not be deterred from speaking out or criticizing the Trump administration for its ongoing abuses of power and its trashing of our sacred constitution — which I took an oath to uphold. An oath that I take seriously with every ounce of my being. And I will not accept the hypocrisy from Republican legislators and candidates for office who have twisted my words but remained silent after Donald Trump pardoned the rioters who assaulted and beat capitol police officers on January 6th, 2021. Arizonans do not want masked agents entering their homes without warrants. It is un-American and threatens the rights and safety of everyone in our state. But we have all witnessed the increasingly chaotic and dangerous activity of ICE agents in cities across the country. And this month, two Americans, Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti have been killed at the hands of federal agents in Minneapolis. The federal government has also become openly hostile to state and local law enforcement organizations in Minnesota that are attempting to keep their state safe.”
The Left wants Americans to believe that their intent is to avoid dangerous conflicts and protect the lives of citizens. But their very actions show the opposite. Instead of enforcing the law, they are undermining it every chance they get. Through violent protests and clashes, they are putting citizens and law enforcement in harm’s way. This situation is volatile and needs much prayer, especially as the facts get twisted.
Attorney General Candidate Says He’s Going to Kill President Trump
The third lie told by the Left this week comes from a Democrat running for Ohio attorney general who thinks that Donald Trump deserves capital punishment. Elliot Forhan took to social media and made his intentions clear. “I want to tell you what I mean when I say that I am going to kill Donald Trump.” He continues, “I mean I’m going to obtain a conviction rendered by a jury of his peers at a standard of proof beyond a reasonable doubt based on evidence, presented at a trial conducted in accordance with the requirements of due process, resulting in a sentence, duly executed, of capital punishment.”
Journalist Collin Rugg responded to Forhan’s warped death wish for the president by saying, “They’re not even trying to hide it anymore.” The Libs of TikTok did some digging on Forhan and found out that when Charlie Kirk was assassinated, he posted, “F*** Charlie Kirk.” Forhan’s opponent for attorney general, Keith Faber, stressed that “Elliot Forhan is not qualified to be attorney general” based on his “vile comments.”
Other posts made by Forhan include, “Abolish and prosecute ICE,” and “Stand up. Fight back. Stop Trump’s war on our cities and on our country.”
Previously Forhan served one term in the Ohio House of Representatives, but “he was stripped of his committee assignments and lost access to his office following reported altercations with colleagues.”
What can be said about a man like Elliot Forhan? His words reveal it all. This liberal lunatic is in need of some serious counseling. The rants and threats of the Left are becoming a daily occurrence, which means we must counter the lies, and pray for the truth to overcome every deception. We must also pray for those who are caught up in the cycle of fostering division and hate.
Lord Jesus, each week the lies get bigger and bolder. Thankfully, You are the one who can break through the chaos and confusion, bringing clarity and peace to any situation. Help our nation to see the truth and reject the lies of the enemy.

President Donald Trump offered renewed support for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem on Friday, saying she has done a “great job” amid ongoing nationwide immigration protests.
In a lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump accused “radical left” activists of targeting Noem while touting what he described as historic gains in border security and public safety under his administration.
“The Radical Left Lunatics, Insurrectionists, Agitators, and Thugs, are going after Kristi Noem, the Secretary of Homeland Security, because she is a woman, and has done a really GREAT JOB!” Trump wrote Friday evening. “The Border disaster that I inherited is fixed, the violent criminals that were allowed into our Country through Sleepy Joe’s ‘sick’ Open Border Policy, are largely gone, or being strongly sought for purposes of removal, and the Murder Rate in the USA just reached the lowest level in history, 125 years!”
In a separate post, Trump praised border czar Tom Homan for doing a “FANTASTIC JOB” after sending him to Minneapolis this week to replace Border Patrol commander Greg Bovino. Trump has suggested Bovino did not adequately oversee the state’s immigration crackdown.
Trump’s comments come as Noem faces mounting criticism following the fatal shootings of Alex Pretti and Renee Good during immigration enforcement operations by federal agents in Minneapolis.
Several prominent Democrats have recently called for her removal as DHS secretary, and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., along with other House Democrats, are threatening impeachment proceedings if Noem is not “fired immediately.”
Republican Sens. Thom Tillis of North Carolina and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska have also publicly urged her removal.
On Friday, several University of Minnesota student groups led what they dubbed a “National Shutdown” in protest of federal immigration enforcement, with activists joining from across the country.
Trump accused Democrats of using protests as a distraction from what he alleged were widespread financial crimes involving billions of dollars in public funds.
“Republicans, don’t let these Crooked Democrats, who are stealing Billions of Dollars from Minnesota, and other Cities and States from all over the Country, push you around,” he wrote. “They are using this aggressive protest SCAM to obfuscate, camouflage, and hide their CRIMINAL ACTS of theft and insurrection. They should all be in jail.”
The president’s latest message of support for Noem follows confirmation Tuesday that he has no plans to ask her to step down from her role.
“Is Kristi Noem going to step down?” a reporter asked.
“No,” Trump responded.
Noem addressed calls for her ouster in an interview Thursday on “Hannity,” saying “radicals” were targeting her.
“These radicals are attacking me, but I’m just doing my job. I’m following the law, enforcing the laws like President Trump promised that he would do to keep people safe in this country,” she said.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche told reporters Friday at a press conference about a new batch of documents being released from the Epstein Files that the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division has opened an investigation into the shooting death last Saturday in Minneapolis of anti-ICE activist Alex Pretti.

Blanche also have a short, “yes,” response when asked in the context of the Pretti shooting, “Are you looking at a nexus of left-wing groups? This DOJ said that that’s something that you guys were concerned about. Are you following money? Are you looking at a potential that all of this may be related somewhere?”
Blanche replied, “I mean, yes.”
Pretti, 37, was shot and killed while filming and resisting arrest after assaulting a CBP agent during an immigration enforcement operation. Pretti was armed with a handgun and backup ammunition. As several agents tried to pin a struggling Pretti down, the gun was discovered in his rear waistband and removed by an agent a moment before two other agents opened fire on him.
A nationwide argument has erupted over whether the shooting death of Pretti was justified, with Democrats using the incident to try to block funding for ICE and Homeland Security in an effort to cripple immigration enforcement.
Blanche was asked questions about the Pretti shooting at different points in the press conference. When asked where were the agents’ guns used in the shooting as well as Pretti’s cellphone, Blanche said he did not know.
Blanche also said the newly discovered video of Pretti acting violently at an earlier action against ICE would not change the investigation. Pretti was recorded spitting, screaming and cursing at agents before kicking and destroying a tail light on a federal vehicle while carrying a concealed gun in his waistband. In a situation similar to that which led to his death, agents swarmed Pretti but that time he was able to fight them off and elude arrest.
When asked whether a similar civil rights investigation was being done for the ICE shooting death of anti-ICE activist Renee Good after she hit an agent with her car, Blanch explained that not every officer involved shooting warrants a civil rights investigation.
Video clips of Blanche commenting on the Pretti investigation:
When asked if the Justice Department has opened a civil rights investigation into the death of Alex Pretti, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said, “Yes.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the arrest of former CNN anchor Don Lemon “in connection with the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota.”
Lemon defended entering the church with activists and filming the disruption, invoking the First Amendment and saying, “We did an act of journalism.”
Also arrested, after being indicted by a federal grand jury, were pro-illegal alien activists Trahern Jeen Crews, Jamael Lydell Lundy and Georgia Fort.
Crews, co-founder of Black Lives Matter Minnesota, lost a bid for the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2018. Lundy, a candidate for the state’s Senate, is an attorney working for the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office.
Fort is an independent journalist who posted video of her arrest on Facebook. Like Lemon, she said she only filmed the church protest as a member of the press, claiming that her constitutional rights were violated by the arrest.
The four arrests followed those of three radical activists on January 22, Nekima Levy Armstrong, Chauntyll Louisa Allen and William Kelly. The three organized “Operation Pullup,” with a mob of 30-40 people storming the church, screaming at the congregation and traumatizing adults and children.
Lemon entered the church to film the invasion, posting the video on his YouTube channel and stating: “We’re not part of the activists, but we’re here just reporting on them… This is what the First Amendment is about – about the freedom to protest.”
After criticisms for his actions, Lemon posted another video on Instagram defending himself: “The MAGA administration and the fake news MAGAs are losing their mind over something that’s not even true. So let me just make it clear … I have no affiliation to that organization [that invaded the church]. I didn’t even know they were going to this church until we followed them there. We were there chronicling the protests. Once the protests started in the church, we did an act of journalism, which was report on it and talk to the people who were involved, which included the pastor, members of the church and members of the organization. That’s it. It’s called journalism. First Amendment.”
Department of Homeland Security Special Agent Timothy Gerber filed the criminal complaint in the first three arrests, of Armstrong, Allen and Kelly. The affidavit states that the activists “disrupted the religious service and intimidated, harassed, oppressed, and terrorized the parishioners, including young children.”
Some congregation members of Cities Church fled through a side door. One woman slipped, suffering a broken arm.
Gerber quoted testimony from parishioners: “Victim 2 advised the [St. Paul Police Department] that ‘they were terrorized, our children were weeping, college students and young women were sobbing, it was impactful and it will take time to work through. … Victim 4 informed agents that members of their parish attempted to retrieve their children from the childcare area located downstairs, but the agitators were blocking the stairs, and the parents were unable to get to their children. … Victim 6 recalled people shouting and running, children crying, as well as people singing and praying. Victim 6 recalled KELLY screaming ‘Nazi’ in people’s faces, in addition to confronting children saying, ‘Do you know your parents are Nazis? They’re going to burn in hell.”
Our First Amendment guarantees freedom of the press, assembly, speech and to petition the government. But the First Amendment also protects freedom of religion – our First Freedom, and it does not give activists the right to invade a church and disrupt worshippers exercising that freedom. In fact, federal law (under the FACE Act) prohibits it.
Lemon and Gort both claim that they were only participating in the protest as journalists, simply recording the event. It remains to be seen what the courts will decide about their involvement in the church invasion.

The story that the legacy media would have us believe about Alex Pretti is that he was a peaceful protester, an observer, a caring nurse incapable of hurting a fly. New video now proves that all of what the media has been telling you isn’t true.
Verified video footage taken eleven days prior to the deadly confrontation with Pretti shows him screaming, spitting, angrily attacking, and ticking out the taillight of a law enforcement vehicle, sparking an altercation with officers.
We take no pleasure in the death of Alex Pretti. It was avoidable. He is made in the image of God. However, the newly released video spoke volumes. He was looking for a provocation days before he brought a loaded weapon and obstructed a federal law enforcement operation.
Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren was quick to praise Pretti, stating, “Caring for people was at the core of who he was. He was incapable of causing harm. Alex carried patience, compassion, and calm as a steady light within him. Even at the very end, that light was there. I recognized his familiar stillness and signature calm composure.”
The video evidence and facts show a very different story.
Pretti was not the angel that the left and the media would have you believe. Should he be dead? No, but he should not have been inserting himself in a federal law enforcement operation in the first place.
Yet, listening to how the media and the left have been speaking about Alex Pretti, you would think he was a saint, not a criminal.
Georgia Senator Raphael Warnock described Pretti’s vigil site this way: “There really are no words. It was a deeply moving experience. As I said, I felt like I was standing on holy ground. Alex Pretti’s blood cries out to us. We are better than this.”
Holy ground? Astonishingly, Senator Warnock is also a “Reverend.”
In Exodus, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob commands Moses at the burning bush: “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground” (Exodus 3:5).
If you are a believer and you read the Bible, you know that this is an absurd comparison that Warnock just made. But to the left, they idolize Alex Pretti—and Renee Good.
We also take no joy in the fact that Renee Good is dead. But what was she doing inserting herself into a federal law enforcement operation? What was she doing driving her vehicle into officers? Good’s partner, after she was shot, said, “Why were there bullets in the gun?” The answer should be obvious: Law enforcement officers have a right to go home to their families. Of course, it is necessary that the weapons they carry have bullets in them. They need to be able to protect themselves.
Senator Elizabeth Warren and the left want you to believe that even if Alex Pretti did terrible things, it doesn’t justify what happened to him. An investigation is being conducted. There is still a lot we don’t know about the sequence of events. But before anyone jumps to murder, shouldn’t we wait until we have all the information?
We don’t rejoice in anyone’s death. But we also don’t pretend violent criminals are martyrs. The left has made an industry of making saints out of people who don’t deserve sainthood.
