Democrats are threatening to shut down the government this week unless Republicans spend billions in taxpayer money to pay for healthcare for illegal immigrants.

Democrats think this is a winner.

And you wonder why the left’s approval ratings are in the cellar!

Vice President J.D. Vance spelled this out on FOX News Sunday.

Martha MacCallum:  Last question, Vice President. This government shutdown issue looming next week, how do you see this? And are you opposed to a shutdown, or do you think there would be advantages to that potentially?

Vice President J.D. Vance: Well, look, we don’t want to shut down the government, Martha, but it’s really up to the Democrats.

Under our system, you need 60 Senate Democrats to vote for the clean, continuing resolution that the President and House Republicans have put forward.

I think it’s preposterous, Martha. I think the American people really should pay attention to the fact that Democrats are threatening to shut down the entire government because they want to give hundreds of billions of dollars of health care benefits to illegal aliens. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve never seen a political party actually advertising the fact that they want to shut down every essential function of government, and they want to use that as leverage so that they get more money for illegal alien health care benefits.

It’s such a stark contrast between Republicans who are trying to put the interests of the American people first, and Democrats who I think would want to take money from the American people to give benefits to illegal aliens.

We don’t want to shut down the government. But if Democrats refuse to just pass this clean, continuing resolution, that’s exactly what’s going to happen. I think the Democrats are going to bear the responsibility for it.

Vice President JD Vance told Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures that Americans are going to “see a lot of indictments” over the Democrats plot to manipulate the 2016 election.

Last month, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified documents revealing the Obama administration “manufactured and politicized intelligence” to push the Trump/Russia hoax.

Gabbard called for the prosecution of former President Barack Obama and others involved, asserting that the fabricated intelligence damaged U.S. national security and public trust. She wrote, “These documents detail a treasonous conspiracy by officials at the highest levels of the Obama White House to subvert the will of the American people and try to usurp the President from fulfilling his mandate.”

President Donald Trump has also accused the former president of “treason.”

“This was treason. This was every word you can think of,” Trump said of the scandal in July. “They tried to steal the election.”

Discussing the matter with Bartiromo, Vance said, “I absolutely want to see indictments, Maria. Look, of course, you’ve got to have the law follow the facts here. You don’t just indict people to indict people. You indict people because they broke the law.”

Vance continued, “But if you look at what Tulsi and Kash Patel have revealed in the last couple of weeks, I don’t know how anybody can look at that and say that there wasn’t aggressive violations of the law.”

“I absolutely think they broke the law,” the vice president added. “You’re gonna see a lot of people get indicted for that.”

“Here’s the thing that should really bother the American people,” he continued. “What do you want our intelligence community to be doing? I want them to be catching bad guys. I want to be making sure that terrorists aren’t gonna kill innocent American civilians. I don’t want them laundering Hillary Clinton’s campaign talking points into the American media and giving them this air of legitimacy. It is sick and it’s disgusting.”

Vice President JD Vance was on “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo to discuss a variety of topics including redistricting, and accountability for the Russian collusion hoax.

Vance explained that the Democrat party for many years has rigged the system through gerrymandering numerous districts to gain more seats in the House of Representatives. He also said that it resulted in suppression by ignoring what voters actually want from their government.

“One of the things that you see in a lot of the red states, is blue states have really aggressively gerrymandered such that they have actually made it harder for the majority of the state of Indiana to have their voice heard in their federal elections,” Vance explained.

“If California has crazy gerrymanders, Illinois has crazy gerrymanders, New York has crazy gerrymanders, what is does it actually suppresses the will of the people in states like Indiana,” Vance warned.

JD also told Bartiromo that they have been counting illegal aliens for determining the number of representatives. He explained that is a reason why California has more reps than they actually should.

“For a portion of representatives, you actually count illegal aliens,” Vance said.

“So, California has way more house seats than it should because they have such a high population of illegal aliens, so they get rewarded for welcoming illegal aliens in their state,” Vance continued.

“The only real way to fight back against it is for us to redistrict in some ways as aggressively as these hard blue states have done,” Vance said.

The Vice President said that he wants to see indictments for the Russia collusion hoax. He explained that those actions defrauded US citizens and the intelligence agencies.

“Do you want to see indictments?” Bartiromo asked.

“I absolutely want to see indictments Maria. Look, of course you got to have the law follow the facts here. You don’t just indict people to indict people. You indict people because they broke the law,” Vance said.

“What they basically did is they defrauded the American people in order to take Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign talking points and turn them into intelligence by defrauding the American people, defrauding the intelligence agencies, lying about what the intel said,” Vance continued.
