There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "…truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity–it is simply true and that is the end of it" – Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” – Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
The 1:17-second clip, posted Nov. 19 on social media, is a string of baffling clips, including old cartoons, masked figures hiding in plain sight and a group of people staring blankly at the viewer over the phrase: “We are everywhere.”
“There is another force applied in combat that we generally don’t think of as a weapon of war. That weapon is words,” the video says.
“Words are weapons… This is psychological warfare.”
The video then beckons: “Join PSYOP.”
As of Nov. 26, the video has racked up more than 15,000 views on Facebook and hundreds of comments and reactions, many noting it “goes hard” with subliminal messages.
Among the surprises found, references to conspiracy theories, the “Ghost Army” that deceived the Nazi generals in WWII and the popular Pepe the Frog GIF shows up in a clown suit. At one point, the phrase “anything we touch is a weapon” flashes and fades.
“Watch it over and over again. Great little nuggets of information for us,” Nidia Law posted on Facebook.
“A lot of crumb drops in this one,”TheJason wrote on Instagram.
“I think y’all have so much fun at work! Would love to be on the other side of this ‘fog show’,” Leigh Eschew said on Instagram.
The U.S. Army noted in a 2024 article that the ideal candidate for psychological operations is “very cerebral and analytical,” which means different types of recruitment methods are required. The group’s recruitment videos are infrequent and tend to cause a stir due to the unusual content.
“The art of PSYOP relies on persuasion rather than physical force. The tools of the trade are logic, fear, desire and other mental factors used to evoke specific emotions, attitudes and behaviors,” according to a U.S. Army report. “The ultimate objective is to persuade enemy, neutral and friendly nations and forces to take favorable actions toward the U.S. and its allies.”
Stephen Miller calls out Governor Pritzker for putting murderers over the citizens of Chicago. – rapid response 47
Earlier this week, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker vowed to prosecute Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in a post-Trump era.
Pritzker made the comments during an interview with FOX 32 Chicago as ICE agents stepped up their efforts across the city of Chicago. The ICE agents are upholding the law by capturing illegal aliens and returning them to their home countries. Pritzker does not seem to understand this.
“The tables will turn one day,” Prtizker explained.
”These people should recognize that maybe they’re not gonna get prosecuted today, although we’re looking at doing that, but they may get prosecuted after the Trump administration because the statute of limitations would not have run out.”
On Wednesday night Stephen Miller joined Hannity to comment on Governor Pritzker’s outlandish remarks.
Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief for Policy under the Trump administration, did not hold back.
Stephen Miller: “He’s a fool and a moron—but more importantly, he hates America. You can’t love your country and then fight President Trump as he tries to keep murderers murdering.
President Trump is saying, ‘Let us work with you— with the FBI, with ICE, with the DEA, with the National Guard—to stop the killings in your city.’ And Pritzker is saying he wants to protect the murderers. The people that are shooting dozens and dozens of people every single week.
Chicago is more dangerous than Baghdad; it’s more dangerous than Mexico City.
So shame on Pritzker, and God bless President Trump for fighting for the American citizens of this country, Sean.”

Maintainers from the 595th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron prepare the E-4B for flight as a visiting documentary production team loads onto the Nightwatch to film a local training sortie and air refueling mission from Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., May 15, 2024. (U.S. Air Force photo)
A U.S. Air Force E‑4B “Doomsday Plane” (also called “Nightwatch” or the National Airborne Operations Center) landed at Joint Base Andrews near Washington, D.C., on Tuesday night, after flying from Barksdale AFB in Louisiana, i24News reported.
The E‑4B serves as a high-altitude, nuclear-hardened airborne command center for the U.S. President, Secretary of Defense, and Joint Chiefs.
Outfitted with EMP shielding, hardened communications, and room for dozens, it is designed to maintain continuity of government in worst-case scenarios—and stay aloft for days via in-flight refueling.
Historically, the only other publicly known occasion an E‑4B landed near Washington in response to a crisis was on September 11, 2001, following the terrorist attacks.
That day, an E‑4B (callsign VENUS77 or ADDIS77) was airborne and circled near D.C., preparing for contingencies during the Pentagon attack. It’s widely recognized as the only other occasion prompting such a deployment.
Looks like it’s in final to Andrews now and they have 4 UH-1N Iroquois up circling D.C. too. Two came back towards Andrew’s and 2 took off. pic.twitter.com/pZBglACwSN
A U.S. Air Force E-4B “Nightwatch” aircraft — commonly known as the “Doomsday Plane” — landed at Joint Base Andrews late Tuesday night following a highly irregular flight path from Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport, Louisiana.
The flight sparked speculation given the plane’s historical role during major national or global crises.
[…]
While the exact reason for the deployment remains unconfirmed, its appearance over Virginia and subsequent landing outside Washington, D.C., comes amid high-stakes developments in the Middle East. Israel is reportedly intensifying military operations against Iran, fueling fears of a broader regional conflict.
Though the aircraft does occasionally conduct training flights or readiness drills, the flight’s erratic path and timing — coinciding with the latest escalation between Israel and Iran — have raised eyebrows among military observers and aviation trackers.
Officials have not released a statement regarding the E-4B’s mission, and it remains unclear whether President Donald Trump is aboard. Still, given the aircraft’s unique purpose and capabilities, its activation may reflect heightened alertness within U.S. defense infrastructure.
This comes after Iranian state media has reportedly issued a cryptic and terrifying warning, declaring that “there is a surprise tonight that the world will remember for centuries,” according to a bombshell report from Saudi-based Asharq News.
After years of catastrophic recruitment failures under the Biden administration’s “woke” military policies, enlistment is soaring under President Trump. By scrapping DEI programs and restoring traditional masculine ideals, the Pentagon has sparked the biggest recruiting rebound in over a decade. Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth have returned the armed forces to their core mission, warfighting, and young Americans are responding.
The Army exceeded its fiscal 2025 goal of 61,000 soldiers four months ahead of schedule. January marked its best recruiting month in 15 years, with 346 soldiers enlisting daily. Across all branches, recruitment jumped 12.5% from 2023 to 2024, totaling 225,000 new enlistees. By mid-2025, the Army had reached 85% of its goal, up from 64% at the same time the year before.
Retired Air Force Colonel Rob Maness put it plainly: “This surge isn’t just about numbers; it’s about a cultural shift. Young Americans are rejecting the victimhood mentality and embracing the warrior ethos.”
Under Biden, the Pentagon’s focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) triggered the worst recruitment crisis since the all-volunteer force began in 1973. In 2022, the Army fell 15,000 recruits short of its 60,000 target, a 25% shortfall. The next year, it managed just over 50,000, far below the 65,000 “stretch goal.” Other branches, including the Navy and Air Force, also failed to meet targets as recruitment messaging moved away from combat readiness and toward progressive social priorities.
In 2025 alone, the Pentagon spent $162 million on DEIA programs. Campaigns featured drag performers, emphasized preferred pronouns, and highlighted identity narratives. One widely criticized ad, The Calling, showcased a soldier with “two mothers” marching in Pride events, alienating the very demographic most likely to enlist. Meanwhile, COVID-19 vaccine mandates forced out over 8,000 qualified service members, worsening recruitment and retention at a critical time.
Dr. Thomas Spoehr of The Heritage Foundation said: “Every minute and dollar wasted on the Left’s DEI agenda is time and money not spent on preparing our troops to fight, win, and come home safe.” His warning aligns with what the data makes clear: military service is fueled by a warrior mindset, not identity politics.
The demographics support this. About 82 to 83 percent of military personnel are men, most of whom enlist to fight, not to take part in social experiments. Despite the Pentagon’s push for LGBTQ+ visibility, 94 percent of service members do not identify as LGBTQ+. Just 6.1 percent identify as LGBT, and only 0.6 percent as transgender. Yet under Biden, recruitment campaigns focused disproportionately on this small minority.
Geography matters, too. Over 44 percent of recruits come from rural areas, while only 14 percent come from major cities. The South supplies 41 percent of all new enlistees, despite making up just 33 percent of the young adult population. Many recruits come from families with strong military traditions, influenced by veterans and a culture that values strength, honor, and service.
Recruitment has always depended on appealing to these traditional values. Ignoring this reality doomed the Biden administration’s strategy. Appealing to fringe demographics at the expense of the warrior class defied math, history, and common sense.
Historical slogans like “Join the Army, Be a Man,” “The Army Will Make a Man Out of You,” and “Be All You Can Be” succeeded because they tapped into the core motivations of young men: the pursuit of strength, discipline, and purpose. As researchers have noted, being a warrior is central to many men’s concept of manhood, and those values remain widely held.
Targeting recruitment toward just 6 percent of the population while alienating the 94 percent, especially the 82 percent male majority from conservative, rural backgrounds, was a strategic miscalculation. You don’t grow enlistment by rejecting your core base.
Trump and Hegseth reversed course immediately. They eliminated more than $80 million in DEI spending, cut 188 related jobs, ended the vaccine mandate that had sidelined thousands, and restored a focus on merit, readiness, and combat capability. Recruitment campaigns now emphasize toughness, discipline, and lethality.
As Hegseth put it: “We are leaving wokeness and weakness behind. No more pronouns, no more climate change obsession, no more emergency vaccine mandates. We’re focused on lethality, meritocracy, accountability, standards, and readiness.”
The enlistment surge reflects a broader cultural shift. Young men are rejecting efforts to feminize American life and embracing a renewed vision of masculine strength and patriotic duty.
They’re joining the military to serve under bold, “America First” leadership. They’re inspired by a president who projects strength and a Pentagon returning to its mission. In a society dominated by TikTok, consumerism, and glorified weakness, the military offers purpose, discipline, and meaning. Many simply want to be part of the most lethal fighting force on Earth.
The Trump effect on masculinity is measurable. In 2024, young men shifted decisively toward Trump, drawn by his unapologetic embrace of traditional values. This same demographic, working-class men from rural and conservative areas, remains the heart of military recruitment. Despite media efforts to downplay the connection, recruitment surged after Trump’s November 2024 victory, coinciding precisely with a return to traditional messaging.
Some liberal analysts cite surveys claiming just 5 percent of potential recruits voiced concerns about “wokeness.” But that misses the point. Young men don’t talk like think tank analysts, they just know they don’t want to join a military that feels like a liberal college campus. The numbers say the rest.
Many activist groups that hate the West and want to see it destroyed, such as Marxists or Islamists, know that they have to be in it for the long haul. They fully realise that their desired goals will not happen overnight, and they are willing to work away at their plans for years, decades, and even centuries if need be.
And the militant sexual revolutionaries know that it takes time to see all their radical goals fully realised. Let me speak to that particular aspect for just a few moments. A few days ago I said in a social media post that a number of Australian states have now passed draconian legislation about “conversion therapy”.
In short, they make it illegal for people like you and I to counsel or even pray for anyone who comes to us struggling with their sexual orientations or attractions. Trying to help such people is now considered to be a hate crime by most states. See the shocking details on all this here: https://billmuehlenberg.com/2025/04/16/god-or-the-totalist-state/
One person responded to my post with these words: “Who would have ever thought this would come to be….” Yes, on the one hand, none of us just a half century ago could have imagined that such things would now be commonplace throughout the West. Little did most folks realize that the homosexual agenda, and the trans agenda, would completely turn Western culture upside down.
However, some folks did know something about this. Some folks tried to follow closely where the sexual revolutionaries were trying to take us. I have been one of them. Ever since arriving here some 35 years ago I have been monitoring what the activists have in mind
It was easy to do, since free, weekly homosexual newspapers could be grabbed from libraries, book shops and other venues. One simply had to read what their plans and goals were – and take them seriously. So I have been sounding the alarm for many decades now.
Of course most folks did not want to hear what I had to say. Even those on my own side were dubious. I recall once catching up with a young staffer to a conservative Senator at Parliament House, Canberra. I suggested we go up to their office so we could pray for them.
The family activists then went around the room, saying what they thought was the greatest challenge to marriage and family in Australia. Bear in mind that this was back in the early 1990s. So I said that homosexual marriage is the biggest challenge we face. One longstanding family advocate basically laughed and said that would never happen.
Well, we now fully know who was right and who was wrong back then. As I say, I was religiously studying what the other side was saying, and I knew just what they had in mind to destroy marriage in Australia and around the world. And it was not just their magazines and newspapers that I studied. They also had many books outlining their agenda.
I have often quoted from the 1989 book, After the Ball: How America Will Conquer Its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 90s by Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen (Plume Books). It is a detailed strategy guide for how the radicals can fully remake America and the West into their own image.
It is a call to battle, and it is a call to see the big picture and the long term. They knew that things would not change immediately, but folks would have to patiently and persistently work at it. The last line of the book says this: “Tomorrow, the real gay revolution begins. So go home, get changed, and be at the station at eight.”
That was a call to arms and a call to commitment. They knew that if they kept at it, they would wear the other side down and achieve their goals. And that they have. The problem is, our side seldom has such a sense of the bigger picture and the war that we are in. We have been asleep at the wheel, and we tend to focus on things not much beyond next week.
Such a mindset means we are guaranteed to lose. There is an old Greek proverb which says this: “A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.” A quote attributed to Martin Luther (but not substantiated) is similar: “Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.”
The point is, we need to have a much larger vision of things. Too many believers do not see the bigger picture and the longer term. They have their bags packed and are just waiting to go home. I quite understand that, but the truth is, we have a job to do, and no one knows for sure when the end will come. As Jesus said, ‘Occupy till I come’! But see these two articles for more on this:
So whether it is resisting the inroads of communism, or jihadism, or the radical sexual activists, we must be prepared for the long haul. These battles will just not go away overnight, so we all have a job to do. We cannot think that attending a few prayer meetings, or signing a few petitions, will bring these wars to an end.
The other side is fully committed to its cause and is willing to make huge sacrifices to see their visions become reality. But too often we have little or no vision, and we are just sitting things out. But in a war, there can be no neutrality. No believer can sit on the fence and just hope that things might eventually get better.
On Democracies and Death Cults: Israel and the Future of Civilization by Murray, Douglas (Author)
Since I twice now mentioned Islam as an example of a real life and death struggle that we are in, let me wrap things up with a quote from someone who is fully aware of the struggles that we are fully immersed in. Douglas Murray’s vitally important new book, On Democracies and Death Cults: Israel and the Future of Civilization (Broadside Books, 2025), clearly informs us of the all-out war between Islamism and the West.
The bulk of the book looks at what happened just before, during and after the demonic October 7, 2023 assault by Hamas on Israel, resulting in the deaths of 1200 men, women and children, and 250 hostages taken – some of whom still languish in hideous captivity today.
While I will write more about this crucial volume in the days ahead, let me just share the closing paragraphs of his book with you:
It struck me then as it had many times over the previous year, that everything was the wrong way around. Young people at institutions across the West were judging the actions of their contemporaries in Israel. They were throwing slur after slur at them and reigniting every blood libel of the past in a modern guise. Yet it was their contemporaries in Israel who were the ones they should have looked to not as a scapegoat but as an example. Whatever the years ahead hold for the West, I know that Canada, Britain, Europe, Australia, and America should be so lucky as to produce a generation of people like Israel has.
Finally, I also realised that I had found the answer to a question I had mulled over for almost a quarter of a century. All my adult life I had heard the taunt of the jihadists. “We love death more than you love life.” I had heard it from al-Qaeda, from Hamas, from ISIS. From Europe to Afghanistan several of my friends and colleagues had heard such war cries in their last moments. Anet had always seemed to me not just a necrophiliac utterance but one that appeared almost impossible to counter. How could anyone overcome a movement – a people – who welcomed death, who gloried in death, who worshipped death? Was it not inevitable that against such a force, a feeble and sybaritic West could not possibly win?
That is what I feared for many years. Yet this year I saw an answer to it. Of all the soldiers I saw in war, none took delight in their task. They could feel victorious on occasion, proud to have completed a mission and gotten their unit out alive. But from the south of Gaza to the south of Lebanon and the West Bank, none take a joy or pleasure in that task they have to do. They did it not because they loved death but exactly because they love life. They fought for life. For the survival of their families, their nation, and their people. Even the most secular of them knew that the lifestyle most of us take for granted cannot be taken so. They know you won’t have the ability to party in Tel Aviv, fall in love, grow a family, or live a meaningful life unless they are willing to fight for it.
“Choose life” is one of the most important commandments of the Jewish people. It is also one of the fundamental values of the West. They, and all of us, can win in spite of the enemy loving death. Because there is nothing wrong with loving life so much. It is the basis on which civilization can win. (pp. 265-267)
In sum, the other side, in its various forms, is looking at the long term and the big picture, and are prepared to fight to the death for what they believe in. Christians, at least in the West, tend to be nowhere near as aware of the ongoing battles we are in, and nowhere near as committed to our cause – the cause of Christ, and seeking to be salt and light in a needy world.
To be disciples of Christ in a world that hates him will always be a battle that we will be involved in. There is no opting out, There I no going AWOL. There is no making cheap excuses for our cowardice or our unwillingness to fight the good fight.
It will be a lifelong struggle. But when we come to the end, we will then be able to say with the Apostle Paul, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7). Or as the lyrics to the old Black gospel tune “I’m a Soldier in the Army of the Lord” put it:
I’m a soldier in the army of the Lord I’m a soldier in the army I’m a soldier in the army of the Lord I’m a soldier in the army
I got my war clothes on in the army of the Lord I got my war clothes on in the army I got my war clothes on in the army of the Lord I got my war clothes on in the army
I’m a soldier in the army of the Lord I’m a soldier in the army I’m a soldier in the army of the Lord I’m a soldier in the army
I believe I’ll die in the army of the Lord I believe I’ll die in the army I believe I’ll die in the army of the Lord I believe I’ll die in the army
I’m a soldier in the army of the Lord I’m a soldier in the army I’m a soldier in the army of the Lord I’m a soldier in the army
I got my breastplate on in the army of the Lord Got my breastplate on in the army I got my breastplate on in the army of the Lord I got my breastplate on in the army
I’m a soldier in the army of the Lord I’m a soldier in the army I’m a soldier in the army of the Lord I’m a soldier in the army
I’m gonna fight until I die in the army of the Lord I’m gonna fight until I die in the army of the Lord I’m gonna fight until I die in the army of the Lord Gonna fight until I die in the army of the Lord
I’m a soldier in the army of the Lord I’m a soldier in the army I’m a soldier in the army of the Lord I’m a soldier in the army
