You may have noticed that this has been a really strange winter. In some areas there has been far less snow than usual, while in other areas people are literally being buried in their homes by mountains of snow. In some areas it has been much colder than average, while in other areas record high temperatures are being shattered. I have been writing about how global weather patterns have been going nuts for a long time, and initially there were some skeptics that just weren’t buying it. They thought that I was exaggerating, and they were convinced that conditions would “return to normal” eventually. But now even the New York Times is talking about how “weird” the weather has been this winter…

The weather has been a bit weird across the United States this winter. As historic amounts of snow fell in the Carolinas and bitter cold gripped practically everywhere else east of the Rockies, some of the western states have basked in high temperatures more typical of late spring than the dead of winter.

Perhaps no other contrast tells this story better than the fact that, since the start of the year, Florida has recorded more snow than Salt Lake City.

Read the last sentence of that quote from the New York Times again.

Florida is not supposed to get more snow than Salt Lake City.

That is crazy.

We have never seen anything like this before, and it is being caused by “a weather pattern that settled into place around the middle of January and hasn’t budged for weeks”…

These two extremes are the result of a weather pattern that settled into place around the middle of January and hasn’t budged for weeks. It’s kept the western United States unusually dry, depriving ski resorts and water reservoirs of their much-needed snowpacks. And it’s plunged the eastern two-thirds of the country into bitterly cold temperatures that have lingered for weeks.

This same pattern that brought 80-degree temperatures to Los Angeles this week sent ice, freezing temperatures and power outages to Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana late last month. It has given Phoenix its warmest winter ever in records going back to 1885 and delivered a rare snowfall to Wilmington, N.C., last weekend.

The worst snow drought in history threatens to cause a major crisis in the western third of the nation.

At this point, the amount of snow cover is about a third of what it normally should be…

A record snow drought with unprecedented heat is hitting most of the American West, depleting future water supplies, making it more vulnerable to wildfires and hurting winter tourism and recreation.

Scientists say snow cover and snow depth are both at the lowest levels they’ve seen in decades, while at least 67 Western weather stations have measured their warmest December through early February on record. Normal snow cover this time of year should be about 460,000 square miles — about the size of California, Utah, Idaho and Montana — but this year it’s only California-sized, about 155,000 square miles, according to the National Snow and Ice Data Center.

The snowpack — measured by how much water is trapped inside — in Oregon is not only record low, but 30% lower than the previous record, said Jason Gerlich, regional drought early warning system coordinator for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

This is going to have enormous implications for farmers in the region throughout the rest of this year.

Unfortunately, high temperatures continue to persist.

On Sunday, the temperature in Denver was 22 degrees above normal.

Hopefully colder temperatures will arrive soon, because there is not much time left before spring arrives.

Of course it isn’t just the United States that has been experiencing bizarre weather.

Last month, Toronto was slammed by “the largest snowfall in the city’s history”…

Toronto is beginning to dig itself out from the largest snowfall in the city’s history, a process which officials say is likely to take “several days”.

Some parts of Canada’s largest city were buried under nearly 60cm (about 23in) of snow and more than 500 flights were cancelled Sunday after Toronto’s main airport was snowed in.

More than 88.2cm of snow have fallen at Pearson international airport this month, marking the snowiest January and snowiest month since records began in 1937.

Toronto is not supposed to get 2 feet of snow.

But it did.

On the other side of the world, Moscow recently received “the largest snowfall in more than 200 years”…

Russia’s capital Moscow has seen the largest snowfall in more than 200 years this month, Moscow State University meteorologists said on Thursday.

Images from the city of around 13 million people showed residents struggling to make their way through heavy piles of snow on the streets in its central district.

Commuter trains in the Moscow area were delayed and cars were stuck in long traffic jams on Thursday evening.

That was bad, but the record snowfall that hit the Kamchatka peninsula last month was even worse…

Meteorologists say the level of snowfall in Kamchatka since early January has not been seen since recordkeeping began half a century ago.

In December, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky saw triple the monthly average of snowfall, while Jan. 1-16 saw around 150% more than the monthly average for that period. The average height of snow in the city reached 170 centimeters (5.5 feet), with drifts exceeding 2.5 meters (8 feet) in certain neighborhoods.

“The last time we saw something like this was over 50 years ago, in the early 1970s,” said Vera Polyakova, head of Kamchatka’s Hydrometeorology Center. “These conditions are exceptionally rare as far as modern observations go.”

By now, I am sure that most of you have seen images of the absolutely massive snow drifts in Kamchatka.

But the record-breaking snowfall that we witnessed in Japan earlier this month was even crazier.

One 91-year-old woman was actually found dead under 118 inches of snow…

Record-breaking snowfall in Japan has been blamed for 30 deaths in the past two weeks, including a 91-year-old woman found buried under 300cm (118 inches) of snow outside her home, officials said.

The heavy snowfall prompted the government of Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi to order the deployment of troops on Tuesday to help in affected areas, according to the Japanese national television NHK.

The weather has been crazy all over the world.

In India, temperatures have been far lower than normal…

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) and media reports show a cold condition affecting northern and central India, with unusually low temperatures and dense fog disrupting daily life. Delhi recorded one of its coldest January mornings in recent years, with temperatures dipping to 3.2°C on 13 January.

Cities across Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan recorded near-freezing temperatures, while Gurugram, in the National Capital Region, registered a chilling 0.6°C, among its lowest readings in close to 50 years. Parts of northern India remained colder than several Himalayan hill towns.

Gujarat, where winters are usually mild, has been experiencing a rare cold spell, with night temperatures in Saurashtra and the central and southern regions dropping into the single digits. Minimum temperature below normal by 2-3°C was recorded at many places in Karnataka too.

Meanwhile, temperatures have been crazy hot all over the southern hemisphere…

From Argentina to Australia to South Africa, record heat and raging wildfires are rampaging through the Southern Hemisphere at the start of 2026, with scientists predicting that even more extreme temperatures could lie ahead – and possibly another global annual high – after three of the hottest years on record.

In January, a record-setting heat dome enveloped Australia, sending temperatures near 50 degrees C (122 degrees F) while heat and catastrophic wildfires gripped parts of South America, setting remote parts of Argentina’s Patagonia ablaze and killing 21 people in coastal towns in Chile. In addition, South Africa has been experiencing its worst wildfires in years.

We don’t hear much about the wildfires in the southern hemisphere here in the United States, but they have been really bad.

And the scorching temperatures that we have been witnessing have been nothing short of eye-popping.

In Australia, a number of communities have recently recorded high temperatures in excess of 120 degrees Fahrenheit…

According to BoM, the hottest temperatures of January 2026 were measured in two places in South Australia: in the town of Andamooka on the 29th and at the Port Augusta airport on the 30th, where temperatures reached 50.0°C (122.0°F). In both New South Wales and Victoria, the month’s hottest day was on the 27th, when temperatures reached 49.7°C (121.5°F) at a station in Pooncarie and 48.9°C (120.0°F) at stations in Walpeup and Hopetoun.

When the giant ball of fire that our planet revolves around becomes more active, global weather patterns tend to be more volatile.

Needless to say, the giant ball of fire that our planet revolves around has been very active lately.

But if you think that things are bad now, just wait, because what we have been through so far is just the beginning.

Most people don’t seem to realize this yet, but we really have entered one of the most apocalyptic chapters in human history.

Natural disasters are going to continue to increase in frequency and intensity, and global weather patterns are not going to “return to normal” any time soon.

321 Earthquakes Hit The San Francisco Area In 1 Week – Is The San Andreas Fault Entering A Very Dangerous New Phase? | The Economic Collapse

The west coast is shaking again.  In recent weeks we have witnessed so much seismic activity along the portion of the Pacific Ring of Fire that sits directly along the California coastline.  There had been hope that the shaking would settle down, but instead it appears to be accelerating.  As you will see below, there have been 321 earthquakes in the San Francisco area within the past 7 days.  If I was living in northern California, that would definitely get my attention.  Scientists have warned us over and over again that “the Big One” is inevitably coming, and almost every day there are more reminders of this.  In fact, San Ramon was just hit by a swarm of more than 30 earthquakes on Monday morning…

A 4.2 earthquake struck near San Ramon Monday morning, following a 3.8 quake amid a string of over 30 temblors in the area, U.S. Geological Survey said.

The 4.2 quake struck at 7:01 a.m. and followed a string of quakes that began with a 3.8 at 6:27 a.m. Dozens of earthquakes have followed.

USGS said the 4.2 quake was about 9.4 km in depth.

A magnitude 4.2 quake is quite significant.

The shaking that it caused was so extensive that people living in the heart of San Francisco actually felt “windows rattling”…

Residents in San Francisco’s Glen Park and Nopa neighborhoods reported rumbling and ‘windows rattling’ during the quake, and public transportation throughout the area was also affected by the swarm, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The moderate quake even activated the National Tsunami Warning Center, however, officials said there was no danger of a major wave hitting the Bay Area.

Of course this was not an isolated incident.

According to the USGS, this latest earthquake swarm was “a continuation” of a pattern of heightened activity that the region has been experiencing since last November…

ABC7 Eyewitness News spoke with the USGS Monday morning, and they say this is a continuation of the swarm of quakes the area has been experiencing.

On Friday, the area saw its first earthquake in several weeks, but there have been dozens of quakes since November.

Could it be possible that all of this activity is building up to some sort of a really big event?

According to the Southern California Earthquake Data Center, there have been 321 earthquakes in the San Francisco area in the last 7 days.  The following is a screenshot…

Needless to say, this isn’t normal.

The swarm of earthquakes that hit San Ramon on Monday was centered on one of the main branches of the San Andreas Fault System…

Still, Monday’s noticeable swarm broke out right on the Calaveras Fault, a main branch of the San Andreas – the monstrous 800-mile-long fault spanning from Southern California through the Bay Area and into the Pacific.

The Calaveras splits off from the main fault line near Hollister in central California and runs parallel to it through the East Bay region.

Scientists with USGS have warned that one of these faults or other major branches nearby could soon reach their anticipated breaking point and rupture right in the heart of California.

And it isn’t just northern California that has been shaking lately.

A couple of weeks ago, a magnitude 4.9 earthquake rocked Southern California…

A 4.9-magnitude earthquake and several aftershocks rattled Southern California on Monday night, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The first and largest quake happened approximately five miles northeast of Indio Hills, which is in the Palm Desert region of Riverside County, at around 5:57 p.m., the USGS reported. It occurred at a geological depth of nearly two miles. The preliminary magnitude of the earthquake was first reported as 5.1 before it was downgraded to 4.6 and then adjusted to 4.9 by USGS officials.

Scientists keep telling us that it is just a matter of time before the San Andreas Fault System “rips wide open”.

This is something that I have written about extensively over the years.

These latest quakes are a major league wake up call.

Unfortunately, most people living in California have learned to tune out such warnings.

Interestingly, the earthquake swarm that shook San Ramon on Monday morning occurred just after the Sun released “a relentless barrage of powerful solar flares”…

The sun has erupted in a relentless barrage of powerful solar flares over the past 24 hours, firing off at least 18 M-class flares and three X-class flares, including an X8.3 eruption — the strongest solar flare of 2026 so far. Solar flares are ranked by strength from A, B and C up to M and X, with each letter representing a tenfold increase in energy — meaning X-class flares are the most powerful explosions the sun can produce

The culprit is sunspot region 4366, a volatile active region that has grown rapidly in just a few days. The flurry of activity began late Feb. 1 and has continued into Feb. 2, with multiple M-class and X-class flares erupting in quick succession. The prolific region appears to be far from finished. Spaceweather.com described the region as a “solar flare factory”, warning that its rapid growth and magnetic complexity make further eruptions highly likely.

Many scientists believe that we tend to see more seismic activity when the Sun is highly active.

Needless to say, the Sun has been extremely active lately.

And we are being warned that Sunspot AR4366 will soon be directly facing our planet…

It’s also possible that more eruptions are still to come. Sunspot AR4366 remains highly active and continues to rotate into an Earth-facing position, raising the chance that future eruptions could launch CMEs more directly toward our planet. NOAA forecasters say they expect more exciting space weather activity from this region in the coming days.

Sunspot AR4366 is absolutely massive, and I think that we should all be watching it very closely.

We live at a time when the giant ball of fire that we revolve around is becoming increasingly unstable.

We also live at a time when the ground under our feet is becoming increasingly unstable.

Unfortunately, I am entirely convinced that what we have experienced so far is just the tip of the iceberg.

A Christmas Message? A “Bomb Cyclone” That Will Slam Into California On Christmas Eve Will Cause 100 MPH Winds And Up To 120 Inches Of Snow | End Of The American Dream

To say that some parts of California are going to experience a “white Christmas” this year would be an enormous understatement. Some of the numbers that I am going to share with you in this article are difficult to believe, but I did not come up with any of them. Respected meteorologists are issuing forecasts that seem like they have been pulled directly out of a Hollywood disaster movie. How much crazier will things have to get before people start to realize that what we are experiencing is not even close to normal?

Last week, I wrote an article about what has been happening in the Northwest.  Trillions of gallons of rain have fallen, flooding has been so bad that some roads will be closed for months, and at least 9 different states experienced wind speeds of at least 100 mph.

If all of that wasn’t enough, now we are being told that a “bomb cyclone” is going to hit California on Christmas Eve…

A strong storm system known as a bomb cyclone is lining up to slam the U.S. on Christmas Eve, possibly complicating holiday travel and bringing gusty winds that could cause power outages.

The forecast comes as much of California remains under some form of National Weather Service (NWS) alert on Monday as an atmospheric river inundates the state with heavy rain and mountain snow. Conditions are expected to worsen as the week progresses, with a bomb cyclone set to slam the West Coast on Christmas Eve.

Some people may be tempted to think that we are sensationalizing things when we say that a “bomb cyclone” is coming.

But that is not the case at all.

It is a very technical meteorological term that only applies under very strict conditions…

Bomb cyclone is a meteorological term for a storm undergoing bombogenesis. This occurs when a storm’s central pressure drops at least 24 millibars within 24 hours. The lower the pressure, the more powerful the storm becomes.

This is the first “bomb cyclone” to hit California this year.

And one expert is warning that the forecast just “keeps getting worse”…

And the storm forecast just “keeps getting worse,” according to KTLA weather anchor Mark Kriski.

Major travel disruptions, mudslides, flooding and other safety hazards are expected to come at one of the busiest travel times of the year, the National Weather Service said, urging residents to prepare.

In addition to all that, we are being told that we could even see “a tornado or two” if conditions are just right.

But things will get really crazy once the storm reaches the mountains…

• Greater Lake Tahoe communities may see up to 2 feet of snow at lake level and 4 feet above 7,000 feet, with winds reaching 100 mph from Tuesday night through Friday morning.
• A powerful winter storm is forecast to blanket California’s Sierra Nevada with up to five feet of snow and winds nearing 55 mph from Tuesday evening through Friday, creating hazardous holiday travel conditions and prompting a National Weather Service warning.
• Mono County could see 10–20 inches of snow, with higher elevations reaching 4 feet and winds up to 100 mph.
• Yosemite National Park may be buried under as much as 8 feet of snow, with winds near 50 mph lasting through Friday.
• Siskiyou County, including Snowman’s Summit, is expected to receive 1–3 feet of snow and winds up to 60 mph; elevations above 4,500 feet could see 5 feet of snow.

Wow.

I can’t even imagine what conditions will be like with that much wind and that much snow.

If you live in those areas, please do not attempt to travel anywhere.

According to AccuWeather Chief On-Air Meteorologist Bernie Rayno, the peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains are probably going to get “at least 10 feet of snow this week”…

“We’re probably looking at, at least 10 feet of snow this week over the ridges and peaks of the Sierra Nevada, which is what they need from an upcoming summer water demand standpoint,” AccuWeather Chief On-Air Meteorologist Bernie Rayno said.

10 feet equals 120 inches.

I have never lived anywhere that has gotten 120 inches of snow in a week.

Have you?

Needless to say, conditions will be much different in the major cities, but it is being projected that Sacramento, Los Angeles and San Francisco could all get “a month’s worth of rainfall this upcoming week”…

Atmospheric rivers continue to soak the West, bringing heavy rainfall, gusty winds and mountain snowfall. The latest event is ramping up for Northern and Central California this weekend and is expected to last into the week. Flood watches are in effect through the next several days, where widespread rainfall of 5 to 8 inches is possible through Thursday and isolated totals could near a foot. Cities like Sacramento, Los Angeles and San Francisco could see a month’s worth of rainfall this upcoming week.

That is not good news at all.

Some areas of Northern California are already reeling from widespread flooding that was caused by the last atmospheric river…

The most recent atmospheric river dumped anywhere from 3 to 12 inches of rain in Northern California’s coastal ranges and Sierra foothills last weekend.

That lead to just over 40 reports of flooding, 20 reports of landslides and another 16 reports of wind damage in the state from Saturday night through early Monday morning. Among the most serious flash flooding occurred in and near Redding, in far Northern California, where water rescues occurred.

For the last several years, the United States has been getting repeatedly pummeled by one “billion dollar disaster” after another.

But most people just think that conditions will “return to normal” eventually.

I don’t want to rain on anyone’s parade, but that simply isn’t going to happen.

We really do live at a time when global weather patterns are going completely nuts.

And what we have been through so far is nothing compared to what is eventually coming.

The “bomb cyclone” that is going to hit California on Christmas Eve is another wake up call.

The state will be hammered by very heavy rain, extremely high winds, and several feet of mountain snow.

But no matter how many wake up calls we get, most of the population just continues to sleep.

That is really unfortunate, because the clock is ticking…

Scientists Sound The Alarm About 3 Major Fault Zones In The United States | The Economic Collapse

Will 2026 be a year of great shaking for the United States?  Coming into 2025, I thought that seismic activity would be a major global theme, and that has certainly turned out to be the case.  This has been an extremely unusual year for earthquakes along the Pacific Ring of Fire, and volcanoes that have been dormant for ages are suddenly roaring to life all over the world.  Here in the United States, we have been experiencing lots and lots of little earthquakes, but thankfully we have not been hit by a really bad one yet.  Will our luck run out in 2026?

According to the Daily Mail, the dozens of earthquakes that have been rattling the New Madrid fault zone since the middle of November are “renewing fears of a catastrophic natural disaster soon”…

A giant seismic zone in the heart of the US has seen dozens of tiny earthquakes break out in the last month, renewing fears of a catastrophic natural disaster soon.

Since mid-November, the US Geological Survey (USGS) has detected at least 38 low-level seismic events along the boundaries of the New Madrid Seismic Zone (NMSZ) in Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri, and Tennessee.

The threat that the New Madrid fault zone poses should not be underestimated.

In a previous article, I discussed the series of catastrophic earthquakes that occurred along that fault zone in 1811 and 1812.  Everyone agrees that they were the most powerful earthquakes in the entire history of the continental United States…

The New Madrid earthquakes were the biggest earthquakes in American history. They occurred in the central Mississippi Valley, but were felt as far away as New York City, Boston, Montreal, and Washington D.C. President James Madison and his wife Dolly felt them in the White House. Church bells rang in Boston. From December 16, 1811 through March of 1812 there were over 2,000 earthquakes in the central Midwest, and between 6,000-10,000 earthquakes in the Bootheel of Missouri where New Madrid is located near the junction of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers.

In the known history of the world, no other earthquakes have lasted so long or produced so much evidence of damage as the New Madrid earthquakes. Three of the earthquakes are on the list of America’s top earthquakes: the first one on December 16, 1811, a magnitude of 8.1 on the Richter scale; the second on January 23, 1812, at 7.8; and the third on February 7, 1812, at as much as 8.8 magnitude.

Scientists tell us that it is just a matter of time before another great earthquake strikes this region.

Six years ago, the USGS determined that a magnitude 7.7 quake would shake major cities all over the Midwest…

In 2019, USGS scientists modeled what a 7.7 magnitude earthquake would look like if it erupted along the Arkansas-Tennessee border, in an area near Memphis.

The shockwaves of this hypothetical mega quake spread for hundreds of miles, reaching cities including Kansas City, Indianapolis, Louisville, and Birmingham.

Buildings in that area of the country are typically not constructed to withstand an event of that size, and so the USGS is projecting that hundreds of thousands of buildings would be damaged and the economic damage would run into the hundreds of billions of dollars…

Since this region is not well equipped to deal with a massive seismic event, studies of such an earthquake projected that a magnitude 7.7 earthquake would cause over 86,000 injuries or deaths, damage 715,000 buildings, and knock out power to 2.6 million homes.

That report, by the University of Illinois, Virginia Tech, and George Washington University, also estimated that the cost could hit $300 billion directly, with indirect costs due to lost jobs possibly taking the damage to $600 billion.

An earthquake like that could hit us at any time.

But when the “really Big One” finally arrives, it will be much, much worse than the USGS is anticipating.

Experts are also urging us to keep an eye on the Cascadia Subduction Zone.

We are being told that when it finally goes, “the Pacific Northwest could change in a matter of minutes”…

Beneath Cascadia’s forests and coastlines lies a 600-mile fault capable of producing a magnitude-9 earthquake. The last one struck in 1700, shaking the region for minutes and sending a massive tsunami all the way to Japan. Today, nearly 17 million people live on top of the same silent threat. Scientists warn that when it breaks again, the Pacific Northwest could change in a matter of minutes.

The reason why the Cascadia Subduction Zone is so dangerous is because it has the potential to produce “megathrust” earthquakes…

At depths shallower than around 30 km, the two plates of the CSZ are locked together by friction. Strain (deformation) slowly builds as the subduction forces continue to act upon the locked plates. Once the fault’s frictional strength is exceeded, the rocks slip past each other along the fault in a “megathrust” earthquake.

A large enough “megathrust” earthquake could cause a tsunami that is hundreds of feet high to violently slam into the west coast.

In such a scenario, the death toll would likely be cataclysmic.

So that is why any seismic activity in the region gets so much attention.

On Monday, a magnitude 2.9 earthquake not too far away from Seattle caused quite a stir…

Reports of a massive explosion in Washington state sent residents in the Pacific Northwest into a state of confusion Monday morning.

The US Geological Survey (USGS) sent out an alert just before 11.30am ET, warning that an explosion with the force of a magnitude 3.0 earthquake has just taken place near the town of Concrete.

USGS quickly retracted the false explosion warning and reclassified the seismic event as a magnitude 2.9 earthquake, less than 70 miles north of Seattle.

Scientists assure us that a “megathrust” earthquake along the Cascadia Subduction Zone is in our future.

And when it finally occurs, it could also trigger the San Andreas fault system…

Successfully predicting earthquakes sounds like a dark art.

However, new research hints it may be possible: Sediment cores extracted from the Pacific seafloor suggest that two major fault systems along the western coast of the United States and Canada might be partially synchronized. After an earthquake on the southern part of the Cascadia subduction zone, an earthquake soon after on the northern part of the San Andreas fault appears to occur roughly half of the time, the new findings reveal. These results, published in Geosphere, provide evidence of stress triggering, which has long been invoked to explain how activity on one fault might lead to activity on another nearby.

Fault zones persist across wide swaths of our planet, but the one that stretches onshore and offshore from California to British Columbia, Canada, is particularly complex. The vertical strike-slip San Andreas fault, in the south, intersects the Cascadia subduction zone off the coast of Northern California at a point known as the Mendocino Triple Junction.

When the San Andreas fault system finally rips wide open, the geography of the state of California will be permanently altered.

And it won’t just be Southern California that is affected.

Over the past couple of months, Northern California has been getting pummeled by literally hundreds of sizable quakes…

While California ranks second in the US in seismic activity, most quakes are small and go largely unnoticed. That has changed in recent weeks with two swarms impacting the Bay Area: one is east of San Francisco near San Ramon; the other is north of San Francisco near The Geysers.

Over the last 30 days, USGS has reported 1,470 earthquakes around The Geysers; in just the last 7 days, there have been 286. Most of these have been weak, with only 5 earthquakes rated a magnitude 2.0 or higher intensity over the last week. While the volume has been eyebrow raising, the intensity hasn’t.

The opposite has been the case near San Ramon. There, over the last 30 days, there have been 139 earthquakes reported by USGS; over the last 7 days, that number has been 25. But the intensity of these earthquakes have been greater, with 39 rated magnitude 2.0 or greater and 6 rated 3.0 or greater over the last 30 days.

This is definitely not normal.

San Ramon has been getting shaken so frequently that one social media user has compared it to “a massage chair”…

“Wee bit nervous,” one person wrote on Threads, adding that she planned to stock up on water and earthquake supplies.

“San Ramon is basically a massage chair today … but like, the stressful kind,” another person wrote on the social media site. “Dear Earth: we get it, you’re active. You can stop now.”

The Calaveras Fault is a major branch of the San Andreas fault system.

This is the fault that has been causing so much shaking in San Ramon lately, and it has the potential to produce very large earthquakes…

Historically, the southern half of the central segment of the Calaveras Fault has been the most seismically active segment of the fault.

It produced the 6.2 Morgan Hill earthquake in 1984. The 5.9 Coyote Lake earthquake in 1979 ruptured slightly to the south of these other earthquakes.

When you are driving your vehicle and one of those little warning signals on the dashboard lights up, what do you do?

Hopefully you take it to a mechanic or you fix it yourself.

Ignoring a warning signal like that is a really bad idea.

Similarly, the New Madrid fault zone, the Cascadia Subduction Zone and the San Andreas fault system have all been sending us lots of warning signals lately.

Sadly, it appears that most of the population will continue to ignore those warning signals until it is too late.

The West Coast Is Being Absolutely Pummeled By Trillions Of Gallons Of Rain, Wind Speeds Of Up To 144 MPH, And Flooding That Will Close Roads For Months | The Economic Collapse

The slow-motion disaster that we are witnessing on the west coast is unlike anything we have ever seen before.  A series of atmospheric rivers has already dumped trillions of gallons of water on the region, and trillions of gallons of additional water will fall before the end of the year.  This has caused some rivers to rise to the highest levels that we have ever seen.  Meanwhile, some areas in the Northwest have been repeatedly pummeled by extremely high winds.  As you will see below, some of the wind speeds that have been recorded are difficult to believe.  For a long time I have been warning my readers that weather patterns have been going nuts all over the globe, but of course many people will never be convinced until it actually happens where they live.  For tens of millions of Americans that live along the west coast, a wake up call has finally arrived.

According to the Weather Channel, the parade of storms that we have been witnessing will continue to roll on into next week…

A parade of Pacific storms accompanied by atmospheric rivers will continue to march into the West Coast into Christmas week, spreading the threat of heavy rain from already flooded areas of western Washington to Oregon and California.

To say it’s been a terrible stretch of weather in parts of the West has been an understatement.

The last sentence in that quote made me smile.

Yes, “a terrible stretch of weather” would most certainly be an understatement…

First, record flooding hit parts of western Washington. Then, as flood-ravaged areas were recovering, a powerhouse windstorm blasted much of the Northwest and Rockies Wednesday, with winds clocked up to 144 mph and over 160 reports of wind damage in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Colorado.

I can’t recall a windstorm of this magnitude ever hitting the Pacific Northwest in modern times.

It is being reported that at least nine different states experienced wind speeds of over 100 mph…

High winds slammed the Pacific Northwest and Rockies Wednesday and Wednesday night, cutting power to three-quarters of a million customers at peak, according to PowerOutage.US. That number was down to 325,000 as of Thursday morning.

The highest wind gusts in the region were on mountain tops — 144 mph at Mount Coffin, Wyoming, 142 mph at Coldwater Ridge, Washington, and 138 mph at Mount Hood, Oregon. Winds gusted over 100 mph on mountaintops in at least nine different states.

Now that storm has moved into the middle of the country, and blizzard conditions are expected in much of the Northern Plains…

“Wind gusts of 80+ mph, several feet of mountain snow, and blizzard conditions are in the forecast for the northern and western U.S. today and tomorrow,” the forecast said.

A map included with the post on X showed that while the entirety of the Northern Plains was expected to see some impacts from the storm, some states will likely be hit by widespread major impacts. These include Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, Colorado and Idaho.

But it is the west coast that has been getting hit harder than anyone else.

Some areas of Washington state have already had about 2 feet of rain, and more rain is on the way.

Yes, Washington state always gets rain, but this is truly unusual.

If you can believe it, approximately 5 trillion gallons of water fell on the state in just a 7 day period…

Warm water and air and unusual weather conditions tracing back as far as tropical cyclone flooding in Indonesia helped supercharge stubborn atmospheric rivers that have drenched Washington state with almost 5 trillion gallons (19 trillion liters) of rain in the past seven days, threatening record flood levels, meteorologists said.

The Skagit River rose to the highest level ever recored.

So did the Snohomish River.

Needless to say, many other bodies of water flooded as well.

According to Governor Bob Ferguson, a 49 mile stretch of US Highway 2 will be closed for months as a result of the flooding…

Massive flooding conditions persist across western Washington as another round of heavy rain and wind targets the region, adding to the damage from last week’s historic flooding and raising renewed concerns about vulnerable levees, landslide risks, and long-term transportation disruptions.

On Tuesday, Gov. Bob Ferguson said a 49-mile stretch of US Highway 2 between Skykomish and Leavenworth will be closed for months after floodwaters and mudslides heavily damaged the roadway.

Unfortunately, more rain is in the forecast.

In fact, it is being projected that some areas of western Oregon could get more than 10 inches of rain from this next storm…

A general 4-8 inches of rain is forecast to fall on western Oregon, with slightly less in the Interstate 5 corridor near Portland. From 8-12 inches of rain with an AccuWeather Local StormMax of 16 inches is projected for the western slopes of the Oregon Cascades.

This amount of rain will be enough to unleash moderate to major flooding along both small streams and rivers in western Oregon. A few locations may experience crests close to record levels, such as in the Portland area. Motorists should be prepared for areas of high water and road washouts. Mudslides are also a danger with the storm.

Meanwhile, meteorologist Ryan Maue is telling us that the Sierra Mountains in California could see up to 30 inches of precipitation from the “firehose of moisture” that is approaching…

California is looking at historic precipitation from onslaught of atmospheric rivers in next 10-days.

Could be 20″ or 30″ mostly rain in the Sierra from “firehose of moisture” directed right at coast with strong jet stream.

This going to be really bad.

He isn’t exaggerating.

It certainly looks like the next couple of weeks will be really bad.

If you live in an area along the west coast that is prone to flooding, you should be doing what you can to get prepared.

Of course this is just the beginning.

Global weather patterns have been getting increasingly unstable for quite a while, and I am entirely convinced that what is coming in the years ahead will be much worse than anything that we are experiencing now.

We really are living in extremely chaotic times, and the insane weather that we are currently witnessing is just one element of “the perfect storm” that is now upon us.

Why Is The Pacific Ring Of Fire Shaking So Violently This Year? | End Of The American Dream

Should we be alarmed that there has been so much activity along the Pacific Ring of Fire lately?  Every time that there is another major event, and that has been occurring quite frequently in recent weeks, the experts rush to tell us that what we are witnessing is perfectly normal.  But is that really true?  Late last month, I wrote an article about how volcanoes that have been dormant for ages are suddenly roaring to life all over the globe.  I don’t understand how it is “perfectly normal” for multiple volcanoes that have been dormant for hundreds or even thousands of years to all be waking up at the same time.  I just don’t see it.  Similarly, I don’t understand how it is “perfectly normal” for so much shaking to be taking place all along the Ring of Fire right now.

For example, on Monday a magnitude 7.6 earthquake rattled northern Japan…

A powerful 7.6-magnitude earthquake shook northeastern Japan late on Monday, prompting tsunami warnings and orders for about 90,000 residents to evacuate.

The Japan Meteorological Agency said a tsunami as high as 3 metres (10 feet) could hit Japan’s northeastern coast after the earthquake struck off the coast at 11:15 p.m. (1415 GMT).

Tsunami warnings were issued for the prefectures of Hokkaido, Aomori and Iwate, and tsunamis from 20 to 70 cm (7 to 27 inches) high were observed at several ports, JMA said.

A magnitude 7.6 earthquake is quite powerful.

The Daily Mail is reporting that buildings and vehicles were “trembling as the ground beneath them shook violently”…

Video footage showed buildings and stationary vehicles trembling as the ground beneath them shook violently.

Another clip showed a terrified man in his home watching lights bounce around amid the earthquake, while a third showed a siren being sounded, warning citizens of the imminent danger.

If this was just an isolated incident, we could probably safely ignore it.

But the truth is that Japan has been hit by a number of severe earthquake swarms in 2025, and that includes a massive swarm of 1,198 earthquakes that stretched from late June to early July…

From June 25 to July 4, a total of 1,198 earthquakes occurred near the Tokara Islands in far southwest Japan. The largest of these, on July 4, was at the lower end of 6 on the Japan Meteorological Agency seismic intensity scale (JMA scale).^[22] This earthquake swarm was the most intense in the region since 1995.^[23] 31 residents requested evacuation to Mainland Japan following several earthquakes of 5+ on the JMA scale, i.e. approximately VII on the Mercalli scale^[b][25][26]

I certainly don’t think that was normal.

At the end of July, a magnitude 8.8 megathrust earthquake struck the Pacific Ring of Fire just off the coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula…

On 30 July 2025, at 11:24:52 PETT (29 July, 23:24:52 UTC), a M_w 8.8 megathrust earthquake struck off the eastern coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula in the Russian Far East, 119 km (74 mi) east-southeast of the coastal city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.^[3][4] It was the most powerful earthquake recorded worldwide since the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake,^[5] and is tied with the 1906 Ecuador–Colombia and 2010 Chile earthquakes as the sixth-strongest ever recorded by seismometers.^[6]

That quake was part of a global swarm of 494 earthquakes of magnitude 5.0 or greater within a 30 day period.

That was about 4 times as many earthquakes of magnitude 5.0 or greater than we usually experience in a typical month.

Nobody can claim that was normal.

Here in the United States, the west coast has been getting pummeled by earthquake swarms over and over again.

In fact, there was another earthquake swarm in California on Monday…

A swarm of earthquakes has struck California’s Bay Area, just miles from some of the most populated cities throughout the area.

A magnitude 3.7 earthquake was detected at 12.08pm ET on Monday, less than three miles from the city of San Ramon, followed by a magnitude 2.9 quake at 1.06pm.

The US Geological Survey (USGS) has revealed that these were at least the sixth and seventh small earthquake to strike the since 5.33am this morning.

The quakes took place less than 40 miles from San Francisco, and less than 30 miles from major cities such as Oakland, Concord, and San Jose.

One earthquake swarm in California is not a big deal.

But there were three other earthquake swarms in California just last week…

Monday’s swarm was the latest seismic outbreak in the Bay Area, coming just days after residents in the region were shaken by three straight days of earthquake swarms rattling nerves along the state’s Central and Northern Coasts.

The recent swarms have also taken place along several branch faults in the broader San Andreas Fault System, sparking fears the main fault line could be closer to a major rupture that locals refer to as ‘the Big One.’

I have written a lot about “the Big One”.

It is coming.

And it is going to be a lot more destructive than the experts are admitting.

When “the Big One” finally hits, it is going to be far worse than that.

If you live in Alaska, you are in danger too.

On Saturday, the state was rattled by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake…

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Alaska during the morning hours Saturday.

The earthquake struck at 11:41 a.m. local time northeast of Yakutat, Alaska, per the USGS.

The U.S. Census Bureau reports that Yakutat had a population of approximately 657 in 2020, and in 2023, a total of 332 housing units. The USGS interactive map indicates that the community lies more than 300 miles from Anchorage, where the quake was also experienced.

That quake was the first in a series of 164 quakes that rattled the state in less than 24 hours…

Residents as far away as Anchorage and communities across the border in Canada’s Yukon Territory reported feeling the quake.

In the 24 hours following the main quake, seismic networks logged 164 earthquakes in the region. Many were aftershocks, including several registering magnitudes above 5.0. This number of aftershocks is not uncommon after a significant seismic event as the crust readjusts along the fault lines.

The entire southern coastline of Alaska sits directly along the Pacific Ring of Fire.

So does the entire west coast of the United States.

If you choose to live in one of those danger zones, you are taking a huge risk.

We are getting more warning signs on an almost daily basis, but most of those that live in high risk areas will ignore the warning signs until it is too late.

Now We Are Witnessing Alarming Seismic Instability Along The East Coast, The New Madrid Fault Zone And The West Coast | End Of The American Dream

Why are we suddenly seeing so much seismic activity all over the planet?  Volcanoes just keep erupting one after another, and we just keep witnessing unusual earthquake swarms on major fault lines throughout the world.  Last Tuesday, a magnitude 8.8 earthquake that struck along the Pacific Ring of Fire near the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia caused quite a bit of panic.  Only five earthquakes that have ever been recorded have been larger than that earthquake.  Subsequently, there has been some very alarming seismic instability here in the United States.  For example, on Thursday a quake swarm that included a magnitude 4.3 earthquake hit southern California…

On Thursday, July 31, a preliminary 4.3 magnitude earthquake hit Southern California’s Inland Empire near Muscoy in San Bernadino, California.

According to the USGS, the earthquake was reported about 9:30 a.m. local time, with smaller earthquakes ranging from magnitudes 2.8 to 3.1 reported shortly before and after.

Those that live in southern California are tired of hearing that “the Big One” is way overdue.

But it is true.

It is also true that a major earthquake along the New Madrid Seismic Zone is way overdue.  On Friday, it was hit by a sizable quake for the 23rd time in just 4 weeks…

Today, the 23rd earthquake in the last 4 weeks struck in the heart of an area known as the New Madrid Seismic Zone or NMSZ for short. While it was weak, it serves as a reminder of the area’s violent seismic past –and a warning of its potentially violent seismic future.

According to USGS, the morning earthquake struck at 9:11 am from a depth of 12.8 km. The magnitude 2.6 earthquake struck near the town of Blytheville, Arkansas roughly 60 miles north of Memphis, Tennessee. This area has seen an uptick in seismic activity in recent days and months.

Is the New Madrid Seismic Zone starting to wake up?

It certainly appears so.

Following the New Madrid earthquake on Friday, a magnitude 3.0 earthquake hit New York and New Jersey on Saturday…

An earthquake rattled New Jersey on Saturday, Aug. 2 and could be felt all the way through parts of New York City, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The epicenter of the 3.0 magnitude tremblor was in Hasbrouck Heights, Bergen County on Saturday just after 10:15 p.m. ET, the USGS said.

The area is about 15 miles northwest of New York City, where the quake was also felt, according to USGS reports. Acccording to reports, the quake lasted for a few seconds before stopping.

The east coast is not known for earthquakes.

So what is going on?

Why are we suddenly seeing sizable quakes in such diverse places?

On Sunday, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake pummeled the Kamchatka Peninsula.  We are being told that it was part of “the ongoing aftershock sequence following the tsunami-generating M8.8 earthquake”…

A strong earthquake registered by the USGS as M6.8 struck east of the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia, at 05:37 UTC on August 3, 2025. The agency reports a depth of 35 km (22 miles), while the EMSC lists the same magnitude at a depth of 25 km (16 miles). This event is part of the ongoing aftershock sequence following the tsunami-generating M8.8 earthquake that occurred at 23:24 UTC on July 29.

There have been more than 20 major aftershocks of at least magnitude 5.0 in the days since the initial earthquake.

And it also appears that the magnitude 8.8 earthquake also caused a Russian volcano that had been dormant for almost 600 years to suddenly erupt…

Russia’s remote Krasheninnikov volcano, dormant for roughly 600 years, erupted overnight in Kamchatka peninsula in the country’s far east, just days after a powerful 8.8 magnitude earthquake struck the region.

The eruption generated an ash plume rising approximately 6,000 meters (nearly 20,000 feet) into the sky, the Kamchatka branch of Russia’s Ministry for Emergency Services said, as per Reuters. The volcano itself stands at 1,856 meters.

I am not sure why this isn’t getting a lot more attention.

The last time that Russia’s Krasheninnikov volcano erupted was in the 1400s…

This eruption marks the first documented activity at Krasheninnikov since around 1463, according to experts, making it a geologically significant event. The timing, coming shortly after one of the strongest earthquakes in recent years, suggests a potential link between tectonic stress and volcanic activation.

On the other side of the globe, one of the most powerful volcanoes in Indonesia just shot hot ash 11 miles into the sky…

For the second day in a row, one of Indonesia’s most active volcanoes, Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki, erupted.

The explosion launched a column of smoke and volcanic material shot up to 11 miles in the sky early Saturday morning. Debris from the volcano blanketed villages, but no casualties have been reported. The explosion was one of the country’s largest since the 2010 eruption of Mount Merapi, the country’s most volatile volcano.

On Friday, in an eruption that occurred just hours before the one Saturday morning, smoke and ash went as high as 6.2 miles, as the volcano lit up the sky with glowing lava and bolts of lightning.

How many volcanoes have to blow their tops before people start waking up?

What we are experiencing is definitely not normal.

But because most of the major seismic events that we are witnessing are taking place on the other side of the globe most Americans are not paying much attention.

But ignoring what is happening is not going to change the fact that we really are entering the most apocalyptic chapter in human history.

There is one more thing that I wanted to mention before I conclude this article.

2025 has been “the year of the flood”, but it has also been “the year of the fire”.

Here in the United States, we are on pace to more than double the number of wildfires that we had last year, and a wildfire that has been burning in Grand Canyon National Park since July 4th is now considered to be a “megafire”…

A wildfire that broke out in Grand Canyon National Park has now been deemed a “megafire” due to its size.

The Dragon Bravo fire ignited from a lightning strike on July 4. As firefighters readied to contain the blaze, fire conditions rapidly changed, causing the fire to explode in size.

As of Friday, the Dragon Bravo Fire has burned 111,970 acres, becoming a “megafire” – a term given by the U.S. Forest Service when a fire reaches over 100,000 acres.

On Monday, this fire will have been burning for an entire month, and there is no end in sight.

Of course most of us stopped thinking about that fire long ago, because there is a new major disaster to focus on almost every single day.

We have entered a time when we are being hit by major disasters on an almost constant basis.

How many times do we have to get hit before the experts will finally start admitting that an unprecedented period of planetary instability has now arrived?

Apocalypse Now: The Increasing Instability Of Our Planet Is On Full Display In 2025 | End Of The American Dream

Once dormant volcanoes have been erupting all over the globe, Mt. Rainier has been rattled by more than 1,000 earthquakes this month, one area of Japan has been getting hit by thousands of earthquakes, the largest supervolcano in Europe has been shaking like crazy, and a magnitude 8.8 earthquake just hammered the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia.  There have only been five earthquakes that have ever been recorded that have been larger than the earthquake that we witnessed on Tuesday.  2025 has been “the year of the disaster”, and we just keep getting hit by one thing after another.  For a long time I have been warning that our planet is becoming increasingly unstable, and finally a lot of people out there are starting to understand.

The shaking that we are experiencing is not normal.

We really are living in apocalyptic times.

And yes, things are going to get a lot worse.

I believe that we should regard the magnitude 8.8 earthquake that just occurred as a warning.  It sent tsunami waves all over the Pacific, but fortunately those tsunami waves did not do that much damage…

One of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded struck Russia’s Far East early Wednesday, sending tsunami waves into Japan and Hawaii and across the Pacific. No substantial damage has been reported so far, but authorities warned people away from shorelines and said the risk could last more than a day.

Ports on the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia near the 8.8 magnitude quake’s epicenter flooded as residents fled inland, and frothy, white waves washed up to the shore in northern Japan. Cars jammed streets and highways in Hawaii’s capital, with standstill traffic even in areas away from the shoreline.

It could have been so much worse.

Once the earthquake struck, people living in Hawaii were scrambling to get to higher ground.

Thankfully, the tsunami waves that hit Hawaii were only a few feet high, and the tsunami waves that hit the west coast were not much of a problem at all…

The first tsunami waves hit Hawaii at 8.20pm local time, 2.20am EST. Water levels were above 4 feet in Haleiwa on Oahu’s north shore, reaching 5 feet just minutes later and causing floods.

Oahu Emergency Management warned residents: ‘Tsunami waves are currently impacting Hawaii. Take action NOW!’

In California, the first waves hit the coast at Crescent City near the Oregon border just after midnight local time, while tsunami waves hit Washington state not long after.

But the fact that we were just hit by a magnitude 8.8 earthquake is a really big deal.

It was the largest earthquake anywhere in the world since the magnitude 9.1 earthquake that caused the giant tsunami that absolutely devastated Fukushima back in 2011…

Wednesday’s earthquake was the sixth most powerful on record, and the strongest in Kamchatka region since 1952, with aftershocks of up to 7.5 magnitude expected.

It is the largest earthquake globally since 2011, when a 9.1 megaquake hit northeast Japan and left 19,747 people either dead or missing.

Dozens of very large aftershocks shook the Kamchatka Peninsula following the initial magnitude 8.8 earthquake, and the biggest active volcano in the northern hemisphere began spewing lava…

The Klyuchevskoy volcano on Russia’s Kamchatka peninsula began erupting on Wednesday following a powerful earthquake off Russia’s far eastern coast.

Lava began flowing from what is the largest active volcano in the northern hemisphere.The Russian Academy of Sciences’ United Geophysical Service said in a post on Telegram: “A descent of burning hot lava is observed on the western slope. Powerful glow above the volcano, explosions.”

According to Volcano Discovery, 41 volcanoes around the world are currently erupting right now.

But don’t worry.

The “experts” are telling us that everything is fine.

You believe them, don’t you?

The magnitude 8.8 earthquake that we just witnessed happened on a “megathrust fault”…

The 8.8 magnitude quake off Russia that triggered tsunami warnings across the Pacific occurred on what is known as a “megathrust fault”, where the denser Pacific Plate is sliding underneath the lighter North American Plate, scientists said.

The Pacific Plate has been on the move, making the Kamchatka Peninsula area off Russia’s Far East coast where it struck especially vulnerable to such tremors – and bigger aftershocks cannot be ruled out, they said.

Of course there is a “megathrust fault” just off the west coast of the United States too.

It is called “the Cascadia Subduction Zone”, and it is a ticking time bomb…

The Kamchatka Peninsula earthquake may not have brought the same devastation as previous shocks, but a far more deadly seismic event is looming for the US West Coast.

A major 600-mile-long fault line known as the Cascadia Subduction Zone runs from northern Vancouver Island in Canada to Cape Mendocino in northern California.

It is just a matter of time before a giant earthquake happens along the Cascadia Subduction Zone, and a recent study determined that a large enough quake “could cause coastal land to sink 6.5 feet within minutes”…

A study from Virginia Tech in April showed an earthquake of force eight or above could cause coastal land to sink 6.5 feet within minutes, devastating cities such as Seattle and Portland and flooding hundreds of miles of roadway, airports, schools, hospitals and power plants.

Researchers determined that the most severe effects would hit densely populated areas in northern California, southern Washington and northern Oregon.

Not too far from the Cascadia Subduction Zone is the most dangerous volcano in North America.

A full-blown eruption of Mt. Rainier would cause tremendous death and destruction, and this month it has been shaken by more than 1,000 earthquakes…

Over 1,000 earthquakes have rocked Washington’s Mount Rainier in the largest ever seismic swarm recorded at this active volcano, waiting to erupt.

Experts from the US Geological Survey (USGS) revealed that this record-breaking earthquake swarm started on July 8 and has continued ever since.

As of July 25, geologists have recorded at least 1,010 small earthquakes around the mountain, which is one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the US.

If you live near Mt. Rainier, these earthquakes are your warning.

It is capable of unleashing enormous tsunamis of super-heated mud that travel at speeds of up to 50 miles per hour, and those that currently live in homes that were constructed directly on top of old deposits of super-heated mud from Mt. Rainier would have very little time to escape.

Meanwhile, scientists are now telling us that there is “something large moving deep beneath New England”…

There’s something large moving deep beneath New England.

This is the conclusion of a new paper by researchers from the University of Southampton, England, who have been studying a mysterious patch of unusually hot rock below the Appalachian Mountains.

This region—known as the Northern Appalachian Anomaly (NAA)—is some 200 miles wide and lies around 125 miles beneath the surface.

I never considered New England to be a high risk area.

But apparently researchers have discovered a “huge, slow-moving blob of hot material” directly underneath the region…

Imagine taking a CT scan of the Earth. That’s essentially what geologists did using seismic tomography, a technique that tracks how earthquake waves travel through different layers of the planet. What they found under New Hampshire was a huge, slow-moving blob of hot material.

This kind of anomaly is typically seen near volcanoes or tectonic boundaries—but New England has neither.

So why am I sharing all of this?

I am sharing all of this to warn the world about what is coming.

The shaking that we are experiencing is not normal.

Our Ultra-Toxic Society Is Killing The Birds And The Bees | End Of The American Dream

Our ultra-toxic society is slowly but surely killing virtually everything that lives on this planet.  As you will see below, North America has lost almost 3 billion birds since 1970. That is not a misprint. You may have noticed that the birds aren’t singing as much as they once did. That is because we have billions fewer birds than we once did. Of course we are killing off the bees too. From 2023 to 2024, beekeepers in the United States “lost an estimated 55.1 percent of their colonies”. We are now facing a very serious bee emergency, but you rarely ever hear about this on the news. Our world is literally dying, but hardly anyone seems to care. We have been saturating our air, our soil, our food and our water with deadly poisons, and as a result we are facing mass extinctions on a planetary scale.

Maybe you don’t care that billions of birds are dying.

But you should, because birds pollinate our food, they disperse vast numbers of seeds, and they are crucial for pest control.

Unfortunately, there are 112 species of birds that have “lost more than half of their populations in the last 50 years”…

The 2025 State of the Birds report, released in March by a coalition led by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and detailed in a university release on Phys.org, found that bird populations continue to decline.

More than one-third of bird species are considered of high or moderate conservation concern, and 112 species are labeled “Tipping Point” birds, meaning they’ve lost more than half of their populations in the last 50 years.

Why aren’t more people absolutely horrified by this?

I just don’t understand.

It is being reported that we have literally lost almost 3 billion birds since 1970…

“Birds tell us that we have a full-on emergency across all habitats,” said Marshall Johnson of the National Audubon Society.

The data builds on the 2019 finding that North America has lost nearly 3 billion birds since 1970.

Needless to say, the birds aren’t killing one another.

Our ultra-toxic society is doing this.

Our poisons are killing the birds, and we are being warned that one-third of all bird species will be extinct by the end of this century…

There is a general consensus among ornithologists that if anthropogenic activities continue as current trends suggest, one-third of all bird species, and an even greater proportion of bird populations, will be rendered extinct by the end of the 21st century.

What would a world with no birds be like?

You might want to think about that, because that is the path that we are on.

Meanwhile, we are killing off the bees at a staggering pace too…

Bees are dying—and at an alarming rate.

Between 2023 and 2024, US beekeepers lost an estimated 55.1 percent of their colonies—the worst loss in more than a decade and nearly 15 percent higher than the previous 13-year average.

Did you know that more than a billion pounds of pesticide is sprayed in the United States each year?

A “billion” is 1,000 times larger than a “million”.

Every year, we just add another layer of pesticide on top of all the layers of pesticide that we have sprayed in previous years.

Now bees are dropping dead in unprecedented numbers, and that has enormous implications for the future of humanity…

Jeff Pettis, president of Apimondia—The International Federation of Beekeepers’ Associations—sums up the health benefits that bees offer humans in one word: huge.

Although two-thirds of our diet comes from carbohydrates—crops like rice, wheat, and corn—which are pollinated by wind rather than insects, many other important foods require bees.

“So we’re not going to starve if we don’t have bees. But literally, everything you can think of that’s nutritious—fruits, nuts, and vegetables—all of those are, we’ll call it, animal-pollinated. The vast majority of those are pollinated by honey bees or other wild bees,” he told The Epoch Times.

What would a world with no bees be like?

Let us hope that we don’t find out.

But if we continue to do what we have been doing, we will eventually kill everything, and that includes ourselves.

By now, you have probably heard that Joe Biden has cancer…

Former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, his personal office announced Sunday.

“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms,” his personal office said in a statement. “On Friday he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone.”

Metastasis means the cancer has spread from its primary site (in Biden’s cancer, the prostate) to other tissue in the body.

This is really bad news for the Biden family.

According to ABC News, a Gleason score of 9 means that Biden’s cancer is “likely to grow and spread rapidly”…

A score of 9 indicates that the cancer cells look very different from normal prostate cells and are likely to grow and spread rapidly. This places the cancer in Grade Group 5, the highest risk category, associated with a greater likelihood of metastasis and a more challenging prognosis.

This is tragic, but it shouldn’t surprise us.

In our ultra-toxic society, vast numbers of people are developing ultra-aggressive forms of cancer all around us.

Of course it wasn’t always this way.

100 years ago, about 3 percent of Americans would be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetimes.

Today, that number has risen to close to 50 percent.

100 years ago we didn’t have an ultra-toxic society, but now we do.

What we eat is full of poisons, what we drink is full of poisons, the air we breathe is full of poisons, the things that we put into our bodies are full of poisons, and the products that we put on to our bodies are full of poisons.

And even if you try to avoid all of those poisons, you are still in danger because we are constantly being bombarded by harmful electromagnetic radiation.

We are literally killing ourselves and everything around us.  Once you wake up and understand this basic fact, a lot of other things will suddenly start making a whole lot more sense.

Democrats Once Again Concerned About Who Will Pick Their Crops | Babylon Bee

U.S. — With heated debate taking place across the country over President Donald Trump’s initiative to carry out mass deportations of illegal aliens, Democrats found themselves once again concerned about who would be picking their crops.

Just as they did back in the 1860s, Democrats voiced opposition to any policy changes that would cause them to lose an overwhelming percentage of the staff they keep around to pick all of the produce in their fields.

“We already had to deal with this problem once, let’s not do it again,” said Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi. “Look, we all need brown people out in the fields picking crops. It’s not easy to find people willing to do that job, so once you have them, you definitely want to keep them there by any means necessary. Chains, even. We used to do that. Then, those awful Republicans had to go and screw everything up. Now, they’re trying to do it again.”

Democrats feared yet another major setback in fully staffing their estates with crop pickers. “Our country simply can’t function if we don’t have someone to pick crops for us,” Senator Chuck Schumer said. “Let’s face it, cotton doesn’t pick itself. There must be some solution to this problem that doesn’t once again deprive us of our essential household staff. The next thing you know, Trump will be telling us we’re not allowed to ‘own people’ anymore. What type of a world would that be?”

At publishing time, Democrats had asked President Trump if they would be allowed to just ship illegal aliens back to the U.S. and purchase them at auction like in the old days.

Hiking the Appalachian Trail is one of North America’s most exciting adventures. The trail stretches from Maine’s Mount Katahdin to Georgia’s Springer Mountain and offers breathtaking views, challenging terrain, and a chance to experience the peace and solitude of nature.
Since 1984, the Appalachian Trail Conference (ATC), a group of volunteers and fellow hikers, has maintained the trail. These people work all year to keep it free of debris and dangerous obstructions. However, the ATC is not responsible for unauthorized footpaths leading to or from the trail. If you want to enjoy the trail, ATC volunteers will tell you to practice safety and purchase official Appalachian Trail maps. Following unmarked trails can be disastrous.
A sad fact is that many of us do this very thing in life. We purchase fraudulent maps and take unmarked routes that lead us far from God’s plan. Instead of reaping a reward of peace and safety, we stumble into dangerous ravines.
However, it’s never too late to begin again with God. If you think you have taken the wrong trail, ask God to show you the way. Commit yourself to following His map from this point on, and He will lead you along a safe, sure path.

O God, how often I have strayed spiritually into unmarked territory. Forgive me. Show me the right way. I want to follow Your map from this point on.

December 25 | The True Colors of God’s Nature

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

For years, poinsettias have been a favorite plant at Christmas. But in order for their brilliant color to be revealed at just the right time, nursery growers make sure the plants spend a certain amount of time in darkness. When the plants grow to maturity, large amounts of light are then introduced into their environment.

The poinsettia is native to Florida, and many who have them in their yards tell how the poinsettia must be planted on a certain side of the house in order for the plant’s leaves to turn a brilliant color. Again, the secret lies in the amount of sunlight the plant receives. The more sun at the right time, the more brilliant the color.

God calls us to be lights in a world of darkness. However, we can never forget that He is our Source of light. Without the light of His presence we become dull and colorless. Christ said, “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven” (Matt. 5:16 nasb).

The true colors of God’s nature are released within us by spending time in His Word. If we fail to read and study His principles, our lights will never reflect the brilliance of His love, forgiveness, and grace to others. We must have contact with the Father of Lights in order for our light to have purpose.

Precious heavenly Father, the true colors of Your nature were reflected in Your Son, who came to this earth to share Your light. Let my life be a reflection of Your divine gift of love.¹

Radicalized Squirrels In MAGA Hats Begin Uprising | Babylon Bee

U.S. — After government authorities seized and executed the beloved squirrel known as “Peanut”, squirrels across America donned tiny MAGA hats and launched a mass uprising.

“For Peanut!!” shouted the squirrels as their forces stormed government buildings. “Vive la révolution!”

Anti-government sentiment had steadily risen among squirrels over the past decades, creating a powder keg of anger ready to ignite. “Peanut’s death lit the match,” said organizer Squeaks O’Hoolihan. “Too long, we squirrels have stayed dormant, losing our freedoms to the government inch by inch. No more. Today, we stand and fight, fight, fight! The fires of revolution shall spread across the nation like a cleansing balm.”

The uprising began in New York, where government commandos busted into Peanut’s humble abode and killed the kindly squirrel. “Within hours, there were tens of thousands of squirrels gathered in Central Park, each wearing a MAGA hat,” said police officer Darryl Smith. “The squirrels were prepared, organized, and unbelievably disciplined. We’re in real trouble.”

At publishing time, a squirrel army had been seen heading for the Capitol with a contingent of buffalos.

Who’s Minding the Coop?
The report is out. Apparently last year “multiple incursions” of drones hit sensitive military an intelligence sites in the US, some as large as 20′ long. Indications are they were ship launched. The incursions lasted for more than two weeks. In all this, the military … did not respond. Like the decision to let the Chinese balloon drift across the entire nation, the government opted to smile for the cameras. So if the military is not allowed to protect our secrets or their installations, who is protecting us now? I know: our “nanny state” government. “Shh, there now, relax. We know what’s best.” Yeah, right.

Who Knew?
I always thought it was New York City, but Chicago is “the rattiest city” in the U.S. … for 10 years running. You go, Chicago. Maybe it will distract from the black-on-black crime that plagues your city.

Thanks for the Laugh
The story is of little significance. A couple people were arrested after releasing 200 minks from a Pennsylvania farm. I just liked the headline on my news feed. “Minks released, two arrested.” Apparently, despite the headline, no minks were actually arrested in the making of this story.

The US housing crisis worsened with home sales falling to the lowest level since 2010. I’m wondering if Dems really think 4 more years of this is a good thing.

A Fearsome Force
A Florida mother is suing Google’s AI for her 14-year-old son’s suicide. Apparently the mother failed to regulate her son’s activities online or teach him the difference between reality and fiction. He became deeply attached to his chatbot “friend” and killed himself because he couldn’t live outside that world. On one hand, AI is nonsense. No such thing. Just try an “AI search engine” and you’ll see. On the other hand, AI is developed by amoral developers, making it intrinsically dangerous. And, in the end, the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked. Should we trust ourselves to AI with that hanging over us?

As an afterthought, here is an article about how AI is being developed to create AI addiction. Really troubling.

Fake News You Can Trust
Perhaps the worst allegation yet on Trump. A woman claims he touched her inappropriately with classified documents while praising Hitler. That ought to do it. Two stories side by side: Kamala told a citizen, “You’re at the wrong town hall” after they tried to ask her a question followed by Joel Osteen telling a man, “You’re at the wrong church” after he proclaimed, “Jesus is Lord.” But this was my favorite this week. Apparently even Dominion voting machines are refusing to vote for Kamala.

Must be true; I read it on the Internet.

IT is a remarkable circumstance that the most brilliant colors of plants are to be seen on the highest mountains, in spots that are most exposed to the wildest weather. The brightest lichens and mosses, the loveliest gems of wild flowers, abound far up on the bleak, storm-scalped peak.

One of the richest displays of organic coloring I ever beheld was near the summit of Mount Chenebettaz, a hill about 10,000 feet high, immediately above the great St. Bernard Hospice. The whole face of an extensive rock was covered with a most vivid yellow lichen which shone in the sunshine like the golden battlement of an enchanted castle.

There, in that lofty region, amid the most frowning desolation, exposed to the fiercest tempest of the sky, this lichen exhibited a glory of color such as it never showed in the sheltered valley. I have two specimens of the same lichen before me while I write these lines, one from the great St. Bernard, and the other from the wall of a Scottish castle, deeply embossed among sycamore trees; and the difference in point of form and coloring between them is most striking.

The specimen nurtured amid the wild storms of the mountain peak is of a lovely primrose hue, and is smooth in texture and complete in outline, while the specimen nurtured amid the soft airs and the delicate showers of the lowland valley is of a dim rusty hue, and is scurfy in texture, and broken in outline.

And is it not so with the Christian who is afflicted, tempesttossed, and not comforted? Till the storms and vicissitudes of God’s providence beat upon him again and again, his character appears marred and clouded; but trials clear away the obscurity, perfect the outlines of his disposition, and give brightness and blessing to his life.
