The Fate Of 342 Million Americans Hangs In The Balance As The Clock Ticks Closer To Doomsday | End Of The American Dream

The total population of the United States has risen to 342 million, and most of them believe that they will live to a ripe old age. But as the world teeters on the brink of the unthinkable, scientists have just moved the Doomsday Clock closer to midnight than ever before. We are being warned to reverse course while we still can, but most of the population is not interested in such warnings. Instead, most of the population just continues to act as if the party is never going to end.

When I was born, about 200 million people were living in the United States.  Adding approximately 140 million more people has fundamentally transformed our nation, and many areas of the country that were once sparsely populated are now quite crowded.

But now population growth has slowed down dramatically

The United States population grew last year at one of the slowest rates in its history, according to new numbers released on Tuesday by the Census Bureau. The immigration numbers plunged by more than 50 percent from the previous year, under the aggressive anti-immigration policies of President Trump. And the birthrate continued its nearly two-decade long decline.

The nation’s population increased by about 1.8 million over the year, and stood at almost 342 million on July 1, the estimates say. That is a growth rate of about 0.5 percent, the lowest since 2021, when the Covid-19 pandemic caused deaths to soar and borders to close, shutting the door to international migration. That year saw the slowest growth since the nation’s founding.

In recent years, immigration has been responsible for most of our population growth.

Of course with President Trump in the White House, the number of immigrants coming to the U.S. is way down, and that trend is expected to continue

As Mr. Trump continues his term, immigration is expected to drop even further. If current trends continue, it will fall to about 321,000 for the year ending on June 30, according to a Census Bureau news release.

The other primary reason why population growth is slowing down is because U.S. families are simply having fewer children

A sharp drop in the birthrate also contributed to the slowdown in population growth. The birthrate has been falling since the Great Recession in 2008, and new births outpaced deaths by only about 518,000 in the latest period. That is higher than during the peak of the Covid pandemic, when deaths were soaring, but it is still extremely low by historical standards.

This is a trend that stretches back for a long time.

U.S. women are not getting pregnant as frequently as they once did, and the number of abortions in this country has been going up every single year since Roe v. Wade was overturned.  In fact, close to 100,000 abortions are now being performed in the United States each month…

The number of abortions reported nationwide has grown steadily since the Supreme Court returned jurisdiction of the procedure to the states, driven by a surge in mail-order pills.

The pro-choice Society of Family Planning estimates that the U.S. averaged nearly 99,000 abortions monthly during the first half of 2025, up roughly 4% from 2024.

The society found that 73% of abortions were performed at clinics, compared with 27% through telehealth prescriptions. That was up from less than 10% of pregnancy terminations through telehealth in the first six months of 2023.

At the same time that we are performing abortions on an industrial scale, we find ourselves closer to an apocalyptic global conflict than ever before.

On Tuesday, we learned that the Doomsday Clock is now the closest that it has ever been to midnight

Humanity continues to move closer to catastrophe, scientists said Tuesday, Jan. 27.

The human race is at its closest point yet to destroying itself, according to the reset of the ominous but symbolic “Doomsday Clock.” The metaphorical clock now stands at 85 seconds to midnight after advancing four seconds since last year’s reset.

The clock is now the closest to midnight since its introduction in 1947. It is updated each year by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, which organizes the assessment of how close we are to a self-inflicted end of humanity.

It was never even this close to midnight during the worst moments of the Cold War.

When this year’s announcement was made, the scientists that are responsible for the Doomsday Clock specifically mentioned the United States, Russia and China

According to the Bulletin, “our current trajectory is unsustainable. National leaders – particularly those in the United States, Russia, and China – must take the lead in finding a path away from the brink. Citizens must insist they do so.”

How many years have I been warning about war with Russia and war with China?

In recent months we have deeply angered both of them by seizing international oil tankers, grabbing Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, threatening to impose exceedingly high tariffs on both of them, and gathering an unprecedented amount of firepower in the Middle East to potentially attack their ally Iran.

If we go to war with Iran, it will do a massive amount of damage to our relationships with both Russia and China.

This will especially be true if unconventional weapons end up being used in that war.

Tensions in the region are sky high at this moment, and both sides are ready to pull the trigger.

A single wrong move could send missiles flying all over the place, and that is why the fact that a mystery explosion has just been reported in Iran is so alarming…

A military installation in Iran has been hit by a reported explosion amid claims Donald Trump has been considering a strike on the Islamic Republic. The cause of the blast remains unknown.

Open Source Intel, which identifies itself as a media monitoring service, reported an explosion on Tuesday at the Parchin “military complex”, citing journalist and Iranian political analyst Behnam Gholipour.

The unverified report of an explosion arrives during a period of escalating tensions in the Middle East, where a US aircraft carrier group has deployed to spearhead any American military action in response to Iran’s violent suppression of nationwide protests.

Once the missiles start flying, there will be no turning back.

If it was up to me, I would have set the Doomsday Clock even closer to midnight.

For decades, we have been warned about the horror of nuclear weapons.

I believe that we are living at a time when they will actually be used.

At the moment, the 342 million people that are living in this nation are working hard and trying to enjoy life.

But the truth is that the unthinkable is right around the corner, and the clock is ticking.

There Sure Is A Lot Of Talk About War Right Now | End Of The American Dream

When there is a great deal of talk about war, it is usually an indication that war is coming.  Unfortunately, the entire world can’t stop talking about war right now.  We are talking about wars that have just concluded, wars that are currently raging, wars that might restart at any moment, and a whole bunch of new wars that appear to be on the verge of erupting.  War has certainly been a central theme throughout 2025, but I expect it to be an even more prominent theme in 2026.  Up to this point, we have been extremely fortunate that nobody has decided to use any weapons of mass destruction.  Once we inevitably cross that threshold, there will be no turning back.

In recent days, the Trump administration has been thinking about deploying U.S. troops to fight in a number of different locations.

On Monday, NBC News reported that the Trump administration is seriously considering sending “American troops and intelligence officers into Mexico to target drug cartels”…

The Trump administration has begun detailed planning for a new mission to send American troops and intelligence officers into Mexico to target drug cartels, according to two U.S. officials and two former senior U.S. officials familiar with the effort.

The early stages of training for the potential mission, which would include ground operations inside Mexico, has already begun, the two current U.S. officials said. But a deployment to Mexico is not imminent, the two U.S. officials and one of the former U.S. officials said. Discussions about the scope of the mission are ongoing, and a final decision has not been made, the two current U.S. officials said.

The U.S. troops, many of whom would be from Joint Special Operations Command, would operate under the authority of the U.S. intelligence community, known as Title 50 status, the two current officials said. They said officers from the CIA also would participate.

Mexican officials have repeatedly stated that they will not allow U.S. troops to operate on Mexican soil.

So if we decide to go in without their permission, that would be an act of war.

We must not do that.

The day before, President Trump threatened to send U.S. troops into Nigeria

President Donald Trump on Sunday said U.S. troops “could be” boots on the ground in Nigeria amid his threats of military action in the West African country over his claims of persecution of Christians there.

The president made the comment aboard Air Force One on his way back to Washington, D.C., after a weekend in Florida.

Trump was asked if he could envisage boots on the ground or air strikes, to which he said, “Could be.”

If we bomb Nigeria or send U.S. troops into that country, we will be at war with Nigeria.

Did anyone ever imagine that we would be talking about a potential war with Nigeria in 2025?

Of course it is also quite a surprise that we are talking about a possible war with Venezuela right now.

We have accumulated a very large force in the region, and many are speculating that a “full-scale war” with Venezuela is coming…

The U.S. has deployed over 16,000 troops, eight warships, and a nuclear-powered submarine near Venezuela, sparking fears of a full-scale war. According to The Washington Post, the massive build-up—featuring the USS Gerald R. Ford carrier group and F-35 jets in Puerto Rico—signals a possible escalation beyond counter-narcotics missions. President Nicolás Maduro accused Washington of fabricating a pretext for invasion, while U.S. officials cite “narco-terrorism” links. CIA sources reportedly confirm lethal covert authorizations under Trump’s directive, despite his denial of imminent attacks.

Nobody is quite sure what is going to happen next, but Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro is so concerned that he is reaching out to Russia and China for assistance…

Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro is pleading for help from China and Russia as President Donald Trump escalates his military campaign in the region.

While the U.S. has yet to formally invade Venezuela, it has already carried out numerous drone strikes against vessels smuggling narcotics at the behest of the Maduro regime.

According to official U.S. memos obtained by The Washington Post, Maduro is now asking Moscow and Beijing to provide military equipment that will somehow allow him to fend off the American threat.

Can you imagine how chaotic things would become if we actually sent troops into all three of those nations in the coming months?

Of course Mexico, Nigeria and Venezuela are not serious threats to the United States, but Russia and China certainly are.

During an interview with 60 Minutes, President Trump accused the Russians and the Chinese of conducting underground nuclear tests

‘Russia’s testing and China’s testing, but they don’t talk about it,’ Trump said. ‘They don’t have reporters that are going to be writing about it, we do.’

O’Donnell attempted to push back on the claim, telling Trump: ‘That would certainly be very newsworthy. My understanding was that what Russia did was test the delivery system of the nuclear weapons, not with nuclear warheads.’

Pressed on the topic, Trump replied: ‘As powerful as they are, this is a big world. You don’t necessarily know where they’re testing.

‘They test way underground where people don’t know exactly what’s happening with the test. You feel a little bit of a vibration.’

That was quite a bombshell.

I don’t know if underground nuclear tests are actually being conducted or not, but what we do know is that both the Russians and the Chinese have been working very hard to prepare for a future nuclear showdown.

In fact, the Russians just finished a second submarine that is capable of launching six Poseidon nuclear drones

On November 1, the launch ceremony for the Project 09851 nuclear-powered special-purpose submarine Khabarovsk took place at the Sevmash shipyard in Severodvinsk, Arkhangelsk Region. According to a communiqué from the Russian Ministry of Defense, the newly launched submarine is designed to fulfill the Russian Navy’s missions “using modern naval underwater weapons, including robotic systems for various purposes,” ensuring the security of Russia’s maritime borders and protecting the country’s national interests in various parts of the world’s oceans.

It’s worth noting that Khabarovsk is the second carrier of the 2M39 Poseidon unmanned underwater vehicles (NATO designation Kanyon, formerly known as Status-6), a strategic nuclear-powered carrier that carries nuclear warheads (nuclear torpedoes). This operation suggests that the Russian Navy will soon be able to simultaneously launch 12 Poseidon supertorpedoes, six from each submarine, if necessary.

A Poseidon nuclear drone could be sitting just off the east coast right now and we would never even know it.

The detonation of a single Poseidon nuclear drone could create a gigantic tsunami of radioactive water that is hundreds of feet tall.

As that gigantic tsunami slammed into multiple east coast cities, millions of Americans would die.

Our news networks rarely talk about such things.

But on Russian television such scenarios are common topics of discussion.

In fact, Russian television personality Vladimir Solovyov just issued a very ominous warning

“When the peacekeepers in our country will stop saying ‘no..no..no, come on let’s not’ and will start acting in accordance with the statutes and regulations on how to fight NATO countries, nuclear weapons will fly.”

I have been one of the few voices that has been relentlessly warning that we must make peace with the Russians while we still can.

Unfortunately, voices like mine are being drowned out by those that are convinced that we must get tougher with Russia.

In the Middle East, Israel has been conducting “targeted eliminations” of several high profile Hezbollah leaders, and it appears that the ceasefire with the terror group is on very shaky ground

Defense Minister Israel Katz issued yet another strident warning to Israel’s northern neighbor, Lebanon, as the process of disarming Hezbollah appears to be stalling while the terror group ramps up efforts to rearm.

“Hezbollah is playing with fire and the President of Lebanon is dragging his feet,” Katz warned on Sunday, after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a series of targeted eliminations of terror leaders over the past days.

“The commitment of the Lebanese government to disarm Hezbollah and remove it from southern Lebanon must be realized. Enforcement of the maximum will continue and even intensify – we will not allow a threat to the residents of the north,” Katz added.

Of course the tenuous ceasefire in Gaza could fall apart at any time too.

But to me, the possibility that the war between Iran and Israel could erupt again is the greatest threat in the region right now.

Instead of backing down, the president of Iran is vowing to rebuild their nuclear facilities even stronger than before

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian vowed that the regime’s nuclear facilities would be rebuilt stronger than before, despite the destruction wrought by joint U.S. and Israeli strikes earlier this year.

During a tour of the country’s Atomic Energy Organization, Pezeshkian said that “the destruction of nuclear facilities will not delay our progress; we will rebuild them stronger.”

And Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has made it clear that Iran will no longer engage with the U.S. unless the Trump administration abandons all support for Israel…

Iran’s supreme leader has issued a stark ultimatum to U.S. President Donald Trump, escalating the long-running standoff between Tehran and Washington.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared that Iran would not engage with the United States unless it abandoned its support for Israel, pulled its forces out of the Middle East and ended all interference in regional affairs.

So what this means is that the clock is ticking.

If the Israelis believe that Iran is getting close to being able to produce nukes, they will inevitably strike again.

Alarmingly, one former Iranian official recently stated that his nation could potentially produce a nuclear weapon in less than two weeks

Former Iranian official Mohammad‑Javad Larijani said his country has developed a new theoretical doctrine: one in which a state capable of building a nuclear bomb in under two weeks chooses not to do so.

He pointed out that the fatwa by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei against nuclear weapons has strong Shia jurisprudential foundations.

Larijani, a former senior judiciary official who also served as a top adviser to the Supreme Leader, added that he supports the expansion of Iran’s nuclear capabilities, framing them as a deterrent and emphasizing the country’s decision not to weaponize.

In my opinion, the war between Israel and Iran is far from over.

Meanwhile, NATO feels more pressure than ever to intervene in Ukraine as Russian forces continue to move forward.

And now President Trump is talking about sending U.S. troops into Mexico, Nigeria and Venezuela.

Of course if the U.S. is tied up elsewhere, China could use that as an opportunity to make a move on Taiwan or North Korea could use that as an opportunity to make a move on South Korea.

Needless to say, China and North Korea have both been preparing for such scenarios for a very long time.

There is so much instability in our world right now, and once the dominoes start falling it will be very difficult to stop them.

President Trump Orders Pentagon to “Immediately” Start Testing Nuclear Weapons; Move Comes Hour Before Xi Meeting and After Putin Announced Two New Russia Nuclear Weapons Systems Tests | The Gateway Pundit

President Donald Trump announced Wednesday night from South Korea he has ordered the Department of War to “immediately” start testing nuclear weapons, something the United States has not done since 1992 at the end of the Cold War.

The mushroom cloud from the Castle Bravo thermonuclear weapon test in 1954, the largest nuclear weapons test ever conducted by the United States, March 1, 1954, U.S. government photo.

Trump’s statement came just an hour before he was scheduled to hold a high stakes meeting in South Korea with Chinese President Xi Jinping and also after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the successful tests of two nuclear powered, nuclear capable weapons systems–a cruise missile and an underwater drone.

Trumps announcement on Truth Social:

The United States has more Nuclear Weapons than any other country. This was accomplished, including a complete update and renovation of existing weapons, during my First Term in office. Because of the tremendous destructive power, I HATED to do it, but had no choice! Russia is second, and China is a distant third, but will be even within 5 years. Because of other countries testing programs, I have instructed the Department of War to start testing our Nuclear Weapons on an equal basis. That process will begin immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

Excerpt from AP report published Wednesday on Russia’s nuclear weapons systems:

Russia has conducted a successful test of a new atomic-powered and nuclear-capable underwater drone, President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday, declaring that the new weapon can’t be intercepted.

Putin’s statement, which comes three days after he praised a successful test of a new nuclear-powered cruise missile, appears to be another message to U.S. President Donald Trump that Russia is standing firm in its maximalist demands on Ukraine.

Speaking at a meeting with soldiers wounded in Ukraine, Putin said the Poseidon drone was tested while running on nuclear power for the first time Tuesday, describing it as unmatched in speed and depth.

He said the nuclear reactor that powers Poseidon is “100 times smaller” than those on submarines, and the power of its nuclear warhead is “significantly higher than that of our most advanced Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile.”

Putin first mentioned the underwater nuclear-powered drone in his 2018 state-of-the-nation address along with other prospective weapons. Russian media reported that Poseidon was designed to explode near coastlines and unleash a powerful radioactive tsunami.

…On Sunday, Russia’s chief military officer, Gen. Valery Gerasimov, reported to Putin that an Oct. 21 test of Burevestnik was a complete success.

The missile covered 14,000 kilometers (8,680 miles) during a 15-hour flight using nuclear fuel and conducted maneuvers “demonstrating its high capabilities in evading missile and air defense systems,” Gerasimov said.

Fox News reported Trump had earlier this week reminded Putin of the United States’ nuclear weapons capabilities (excerpt):

Trump made the comments during a conversation with reporters aboard Air Force One on Monday morning, saying the U.S. is “not playing games” with Putin.

“Russia said this week that they’ve tested a new missile that can go more than 8,000 miles. Is that saber-rattling for you? What is that?” a reporter asked.

“I know we have a nuclear submarine, the greatest in the world, right off their shores. So, I mean, it doesn’t have to go 8,000 miles, and they’re not playing games with us. We’re not playing games with them either,” Trump responded.

“We test missiles all the time. But, you know, we do have a submarine, a nuclear submarine. We don’t need to go 8,000 miles. And I don’t think it’s an appropriate thing for Putin to be saying either, by the way. You ought to get the war ended. A war that should have taken one week is now in its soon [to be] fourth year. That’s what you ought to do instead of testing missiles,” he added.

The Hill reported a close Trump advisor wrote a column last year urging him to resume nuclear weapons testing should he win the 2024 presidential election (excerpt):

Former Trump’s national security advisor, Robert C. O’Brien, encouraged Trump, a presidential candidate, in June last year to test nuclear weapons if he wins the 2024 White House election.

“Washington must test new nuclear weapons for reliability and safety in the real world for the first time since 1992—not just by using computer models,” O’Brien wrote in an article for the Foreign Affairs magazine, which was published in June last year. “If China and Russia continue to refuse to engage in good-faith arms control talks, the United States should also resume production of uranium-235 and plutonium-239, the primary fissile isotopes of nuclear weapons.”

Excerpt from a Library of Congress paper on U.S. nuclear weapons testing:

The United States has observed a voluntary moratorium on nuclear explosive testing since 1992, although it has maintained the ability to resume these tests at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS). Since 1993, it has used a program known as Science-Based Stockpile Stewardship to maintain confidence in the “safety, security, and effectiveness” of its nuclear arsenal. Press reports in May 2020 indicated that Trump Administration officials had discussed whether to conduct an explosive test of a U.S. nuclear weapon. Since then, the first Trump Administration and subsequent Biden Administration statements have reaffirmed the moratorium.

In an August 2024 video, the Department of Energy (DOE) National Nuclear Security (NNSA) Administrator stated that the United States has “no technical reasons” to conduct nuclear tests. Some analysts have expressed concerns that NNSA development of new warhead designs could “result in demands to resume explosive testing.” Congress may continue to face these issues as it considers authorizing and appropriating funds for the stockpile stewardship program, as well as modernization of the nuclear security enterprise.

Limits on U.S. Nuclear Tests

By its own count, the United States conducted 1,054 explosive nuclear tests between 1945 and 1992. Of these, NNSS hosted 928 tests, including 100 atmospheric tests. In 1990, Congress created a program to compensate some individuals whose health may have been affected by this testing. DOE also engages in environmental remediation at NNSS.

The United States has been a party since 1963 to the Limited Test Ban Treaty, under which it is obligated to refrain from conducting nuclear weapons test explosions in the atmosphere, outer space, or under water. The United States is also party to the Threshold Test Ban Treaty of 1974, which bans underground nuclear weapons tests having an explosive force of more than 150 kilotons.

In 1992, Congress passed and President George H.W. Bush signed into law the Hatfield-Exon-Mitchell Amendment establishing a temporary unilateral moratorium on underground nuclear testing (P.L. 102-377, §507; 50 U.S.C. §2530). It states that “no underground test of nuclear weapons may be conducted by the United States after September 30, 1996, unless a foreign state conducts a nuclear test after this date, at which time the prohibition on United States nuclear testing is lifted.” Several foreign states have conducted nuclear tests since 1996.

‘Unstoppable’: Xi Unveils Nuclear Triad In Military Parade Challenging West, Alongside Putin & Kim | ZeroHedge

Chinese leader Xi Jinping’s massive military parade in Tiananmen Square marking the end of World War II, and attended by world leaders, mostly notably so-called ‘pariahs’ Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un, hasn’t disappointed – and even elicited a quick response from President Trump.

Chinese leader Xi Jinping declared that China’s rise is “unstoppable” and showcased over 10,000 troops marching in perfect synchronicity – and a notable lack of ‘diversity’ so elevated in the West – along with hundreds of advanced weapons. Most notably, Xi also for the first time showcased the PLA military’s land, sea, and air-based nuclear force – a complete and deadly triad.

The whole thing was also an opportunity to prove to the world that the process of modernizing the world’s largest standing army is well underway and that there are growing ties – or a “special relationship” even – between China and other major nuclear armed powers Russia and North Korea.

Xi’s opening speech featured the words, “Humanity is again faced with a choice of peace or war, dialogue or confrontation, and win-win outcomes or zero-sum games.”

AFP/Getty Images
As for the complete nuclear triad, this included the JingLei-1 air-launched long-range missile, the JuLang-3 submarine-launched intercontinental missile, the DongFeng-61 land-based ICBM, and a new variant of the DongFeng-31 land-based ICBM, according to Xinhua News.

Some fresh Bloomberg analysis has described:

China has doubled down on its growing arsenal of nuclear weapons. China revealed several nuclear capabilities, including next generation intercontinental ballistic missiles like the DF-5C, DF-61, and JL-3. Notably, the JL-3 is submarine launched. This means that China has all three legs of a nuclear triad — air, ground, and sea-launched nuclear missiles – and more credible second-strike capability. The submarine-launched JL-3 is capable of reaching the continental US, meaning Beijing could hold targets there at risk in a potential conflict.

Below: China’s DF-5 strategic intercontinental nuclear missile, which has a strike range capable of covering the entire planet.

State media described these weapons as China’s strategic “ace” – highlighting their importance in defending the country’s sovereignty, security, and national pride – and key to its deterrence strategy.

Wednesday’s events presented the unprecedented spectacle of three leaders Western mainstream press has dubbed the “axis of upheaval” overlooking these nuclear toys as they drive past

The DF-5C ICBM comes in 3 parts on 3 vehicles, carries up to 12 nuclear warheads, and has a range of 13,000–20,000 km, enough to reach any global target.

Concerning Trump and US-China relations, the timing of all of this is very significant, given the White House recently indicated that President Trump might be in the region by late October and is open to meeting with Xi.

Among major issues remains the hoped-for long-anticipated deal on tariffs, the potential sale of TikTok in the US, as well as the question of Beijing’s influence Putin related to the future of the Ukraine war, especially the question of a ceasefire or broader resolution in Ukraine.

Below: An unexpected conversation among the three

In an extremely rare hot mic moment at the China parade, Xi and Putin discussed how organ transplants(!) and other advances may allow people to live to 150 this century.

“Peace through strength” appears to be Xi’s message in this parade, to use what’s actually a longtime phrase used by American leaders.

As for Kim, he’s obviously gone much deeper in Russia’s corner in Ukraine, even having sent over 10,000 North Korean troops as par of the war effort – an estimated 2,000 of which have come back home in coffins – signifying a deepening Moscow-Pyongyang alliance which Xi has not joined on such a level, and likely wants no part of.

Amid ongoing airstrikes: IDF reveals Iran’s secret nuclear project & plans to ‘destroy Israel’ | All Israel News

Regime was able to obtain a nuclear weapon ‘within a short period of time’

Amid the ongoing Israeli strikes against Iranian nuclear sites, military leaders and installations, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) revealed the regime’s covert nuclear weaponization program, as well as concrete plans to destroy the Jewish State in a simultaneous air and ground attack from multiple fronts.

The IDF explained intelligence that was accumulated in recent months indicated the regime’s nuclear program had approached a point of no return, confirming an earlier statement made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“In recent months, Iran has taken steps it has never taken before – steps to weaponize this enriched uranium. If not stopped, Iran could produce a nuclear weapon in a very short time. It could be a year; it could be within a few months—less than a year. This is a clear and present danger to Israel’s very survival,” Netanyahu said.

According to the IDF, “The convergence of the Iranian regime’s efforts to produce thousands of kilograms of enriched uranium, alongside decentralized and fortified enrichment compounds in underground facilities, enables the Iranian regime to enrich uranium to military-grade levels, enabling the regime to obtain a nuclear weapon within a short period of time.”

Israel also identified concrete progress on the project to produce components for a nuclear bomb, which accelerated significantly since the start of the war.

“The IDF is revealing for the first time that the Iranian regime is advancing a secret plan for the technological advancement of all parts of the development of a nuclear weapon. In the framework of this plan, senior nuclear scientists in Iran have been working to secretly develop all components needed for developing a nuclear weapon,” the IDF said.

As part of the opening strikes early on Friday morning, Israel reportedly assassinated more than 10 high-ranking nuclear scientists in Iran.

“The State of Israel has been left with no choice. The IDF has the obligation to act in defense of the civilians of Israel and will continue to do so,” the military said.

The IDF also revealed that its intelligence branch has collected and analyzed “vast quantities of intelligence” pertaining to a “concrete plan to destroy the State of Israel,” which was pursued in parallel to the nuclear program.

“The regime has focused on manufacturing tens of thousands of missiles and drones, and are advancing plans for a combined ground offensive against Israel on multiple fronts simultaneously,” the IDF said.

“Materials collected during the war show the coordination between the Iranian regime and the leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah, including after the October 7th Massacre, which demonstrates how the regime plans to re-arm the terrorist organizations.”

Friday morning, the IDF’s head of the Intelligence Directorate, Maj.-Gen. Shlomi Binder, stated that the country was entering “a campaign that is no less than existential, against an enemy that seeks to destroy us, that seeks to develop nuclear capabilities, and is advancing rapidly in its nuclear development.”

“It also seeks to develop conventional weapons in extremely large quantities. This is the threat we want to degrade, disrupt, and eliminate.”

“The Intelligence Directorate has worked extremely hard to provide the warning on the nuclear advancement and the quantities of ballistic missiles. The Intelligence Directorate is prepared for this mission, is at a very high level of alert, and is, I believe, strongly positioned for the start of the campaign we are now entering,” Binder said.

“For years, the Iranian regime has been waging a direct and indirect campaign of terror against the State of Israel by developing a nuclear weapon, developing advanced long-range missiles and warheads, and funding and directing terror proxies across the Middle East,” the IDF stressed.

“The goal of destroying the State of Israel is rooted in the founding principles of the extremist regime, and leaders of the regime have openly proclaimed this.”

The Iranian Nuclear Threat: Decades of Defiance and Escalation | Israel365 News

Iran’s nuclear program has posed an existential threat to Israel for decades, with the Islamic Republic consistently defying international efforts to halt its weapons development. The current crisis represents the culmination of years of Iranian deception and acceleration toward nuclear capability.

According to Israeli assessments, Iran currently possesses enough enriched uranium to construct fifteen nuclear bombs. The regime has been enriching uranium to 60 percent purity—a level that serves no civilian purpose and brings Iran dangerously close to the 90 percent threshold required for nuclear weapons.

The Iranian nuclear program began ostensibly for civilian purposes, but intelligence gathered by Israel and international agencies has revealed a systematic effort to develop weapons capability. Iran has consistently obstructed international inspectors from accessing its nuclear facilities and has established covert nuclear projects beyond the oversight of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

“The Iranian regime has been working for decades to obtain a nuclear weapon. The world has attempted every possible diplomatic path to stop it, but the regime has refused to stop,” the Israeli military stated following Friday’s strikes.

Iran’s nuclear facilities are strategically dispersed and heavily fortified. The main enrichment sites at Natanz and Fordo are built deep underground, designed to withstand conventional attacks. Natanz, which was significantly damaged in Friday’s strikes, houses thousands of centrifuges used to enrich uranium. The facility has been targeted multiple times in recent years through both cyber attacks and physical sabotage operations.

The regime’s nuclear ambitions are intertwined with its broader regional strategy of establishing hegemony across the Middle East. Iran has used its nuclear program as leverage in negotiations while simultaneously advancing its weapons capability and supporting proxy forces throughout the region.

Recent months have seen unprecedented acceleration in Iran’s nuclear activities. Netanyahu revealed that Iran had taken “unprecedented steps toward weaponization,” moving beyond uranium enrichment to develop the technical components necessary for nuclear warheads.

The Islamic Republic has also built what Netanyahu described as “a massive store” of ballistic missiles capable of reaching Israel within minutes, each carrying a ton of explosives. Iran planned to produce 20,000 such missiles within six years, creating a formidable delivery system for potential nuclear weapons.

International diplomatic efforts, including multiple rounds of negotiations and sanctions regimes, have failed to halt Iran’s nuclear advance. The regime has used diplomatic talks as cover while continuing to expand its nuclear infrastructure and capabilities.

For Israel, facing repeated Iranian threats to “wipe Israel off the map,” the nuclear program represents an unacceptable existential risk that required decisive military action to prevent.

Roll Out The Nukes: The Risk Level Just Went “Way Up” And Trump Warns “We’ll Be Very, Very Tough” If Russia Doesn’t End The War | End Of The American Dream

The Russians and the Chinese have both been developing new intercontinental ballistic missiles that can cause such immense destruction that they make the nuclear bomb that destroyed Hiroshima look like a child’s toy. The U.S. has been working on a new intercontinental ballistic missile too, but it won’t be ready for quite a few years. Unfortunately, we are closer to nuclear war right now than we have been at any other point in human history. In fact, we are extremely fortunate that the Russians didn’t decide to just start launching their nukes after Ukraine’s very foolish surprise attack on Russia’s nuclear bombers. If there had been a surprise attack on our nuclear bombers, we may not have shown the same level of restraint. We are literally teetering on the brink of the unthinkable, and it is so important for the general population to understand what we are facing.

According to a brand new report that was just released, in our world today there are more than 9,600 nuclear warheads that are ready to be used…

The number of nuclear warheads ready for use by nine countries has slightly increased from last year, reaching over 9,600 warheads, according to a Japanese think tank’s report.

Russia, the United States and China remain the world’s three largest countries in terms of the size of their nuclear arsenals.

As I have extensively documented, a full-blown nuclear war would be cataclysmic.

A large portion of the U.S. population would be immediately wiped out, and even more would die from famine during the subsequent nuclear winter.

Sadly, most of the population doesn’t even realize we just had a really close call.

President Trump’s envoy to Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, just explained to Fox News that Ukraine’s assault on Russia’s nuclear bombers resulted in risk levels “going way up”

“I’m telling you, the risk levels are going way up – I mean, what happened this weekend,” Trump’s envoy, Keith Kellogg, told Fox News.

“People have to understand in the national security space: when you attack an opponent’s part of their national survival system, which is their triad, the nuclear triad, that means your risk level goes up because you don’t know what the other side is going to do. You’re not sure.”

Our continued existence literally depended on Russian President Vladimir Putin showing some restraint.

Fortunately, Putin didn’t press the button this time.

But do we really want to keep living on the edge like this?

We need to find a way to make peace while we still can.

Unfortunately, it appears that peace is slipping away.  President Trump was just asked about imposing more sanctions on Russia, and he responded by saying that “we’ll be very, very tough” if Russia doesn’t end the war…

President Donald Trump was asked again on Thursday when he will make a decision regarding sanctions on Russia, which he’s threatened repeatedly over the past several weeks.

“It’s in my brain, the deadline,” Trump said. “When I see the moment where it’s not gonna stop … we’ll be very, very tough. And it could be on both countries, to be honest. It takes two to tango.”

Of course the Russians are in no mood to compromise after what the Ukrainians just did.

In fact, there are some voices in Russia that are calling for nuclear weapons to be used.  Here is just one example

The Kremlin’s recently updated nuclear doctrine – which sets out conditions for a launch – states that any attack on “critically important” military infrastructure which “disrupts response actions by nuclear forces” could trigger a nuclear retaliation.

The Ukrainian operation was “grounds for a nuclear attack,” declared Vladmir Solovyov, a firebrand host on Russian state TV, calling for strikes on the Ukrainian presidential office in Kyiv, and beyond.

Most people living in the western world don’t realize this, but the Russian “Satan-2” missiles are the most advanced nuclear missiles in the entire world

Russia’s “Satan-2” missile, also known as the RS-28 Sarmat, has earned its infamous name from the West for its sheer destructive potential. This intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) is capable of carrying multiple nuclear warheads — up to 15-16 — and is capable of wiping out entire cities.

The updated RS-28 Sarmat missile, considered an advanced version of Satan-2, has an increased range of 13,000 to 16,000 kilometers, making it one of the most powerful missiles in Russia’s arsenal. This missile’s capacity to cause mass destruction is unparalleled, capable of obliterating several cities with a single strike.

One “Satan-2” missile can carry enough firepower to destroy an area roughly the size of the state of Texas.

Meanwhile, the Chinese have developed a new intercontinental ballistic missile that has a range of 7,500 miles

China has revealed details of its new nuclear weapon which is said to be 200 times more powerful than the bombs that devastated Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The DF-5B missile is said to have a range of 7,500 miles, meaning it is capable of reaching Europe and the United States from launch sites in China.

Like Russia’s “Satan-2” missile, this new Chinese ICBM is capable of deploying multiple reentry vehicles

Its Multiple Independently Targetable Reentry Vehicle (MIRV) technology enables a single missile to carry and release a number of nuclear warheads capable of striking different targets across a wide area.

The original DF-5 was equipped with only one warhead, but the DF-5B can reportedly carry up to 10, significantly boosting its strike capability.

We have no defense against such missiles.

If the Russians or the Chinese press the button, we will be toast.

According to Zero Hedge, the commander of Edwards Air Force Base recently warned that the local community needs to be prepared for the possibility of a catastrophic surprise attack…

Last month, the commander of Edwards Air Force Base, California, talked openly about the need for local leaders to prepare for a Pearl Harbor-like strike on his base and others inside the United States.

Brig. Gen. Doug Wickert delivered “a sobering assessment of China’s growing military capabilities” in a briefing to community leaders, according to an Air Force press release. Wickert, the 412th Test Wing commander, spoke at Antelope Valley College on May 7.

Edwards Air Force Base is located in the Mojave desert about 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles.

Wickert referenced the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack in his briefing, the press release said, drawing parallels to warnings about Pearl Harbor’s vulnerability prior to the attack.

As I have warned many times, U.S. military bases will be primary targets if a nuclear war erupts.

We are counting on our strategic nuclear arsenal to deter the Russians and the Chinese, but right now Minuteman missiles that originally went into service in the 1970s still form the backbone of that arsenal.

The new Sentinel intercontinental ballistic missile is in development, and preparations for their deployment are underway

According to information published by the 5th Bomb Wing Public Affairs on May 30, 2025, the US Air Force officially launched preparations at its nuclear installations to accommodate the upcoming LGM-35A Sentinel intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). The activation of a new specialized unit, the Sentinel Site Activation Task Force (SATAF) Detachment 12, at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota marks a pivotal moment in the effort to replace the aging Minuteman III, which has served as the land-based pillar of the US nuclear triad since 1970. This initiative is part of a broader strategic modernization plan focusing on strengthening the ground-based leg of the nuclear deterrent force.

That is the good news.

The bad news is that it will be years before the new Sentinel intercontinental ballistic missile is ready…

The Sentinel program, originally designated as the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD), is designed to deliver a next-generation ICBM featuring advanced security technologies, cyber resilience, and modular architecture. Sentinel will be deployed in a single-warhead configuration, with initial fielding scheduled to begin in 2029. Until the new W87-1 warhead under development by the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) becomes available, the Sentinel will be armed with legacy W87-0 warheads. The NNSA is also scaling up its capability to produce 80 plutonium pits per year by 2030 to meet program requirements, having already qualified the first war reserve pit for the W87-1 in October 2024.

Until the Sentinel is in service, we will be at a serious disadvantage.

When I asked Google AI if Russia’s S-500 air defense system can shoot down a Minuteman missile, this is the response that I got…

Yes, the S-500 air defense system is designed to intercept and destroy a wide range of aerial threats, including ballistic missiles like the Minuteman ICBM.

But we don’t have anything that can shoot down the new missiles that the Russians and the Chinese have developed.

So perhaps we shouldn’t be picking fights with the Russians and the Chinese while they are holding the upper hand.

Of course the vast majority of the population does not understand any of this, and that is extremely unfortunate.

These Are The Countries With The Most Nuclear Weapons | ZeroHedge

As of 2024, nine countries possess all of the world’s 12,000 nuclear warheads.

This graphic, via Visual Capitalist’s Bruno Venditti, visualizes the world’s nuclear powers based on data from the Federation of American Scientists. The exact number of nuclear weapons each country possesses is a closely guarded national secret, so the estimates presented here come with significant uncertainty.

Nuclear Powers

Despite reductions since the Cold War, the global nuclear arsenal remains significant. The U.S. and Russia together hold around 88% of the world’s nuclear weapons and 84% of the warheads ready for military use. Combined, both countries have over 10,000 warheads. A 2018 study suggests that 100 nuclear weapons would be the “pragmatic limit” for any country’s arsenal.

While the U.S. has been reducing its nuclear arsenal, Russia, China, India, Pakistan, and North Korea are increasing their warhead stockpiles.

Of the warheads in military stockpiles, approximately 3,904 are deployed with operational forces (on missiles or bomber bases). Among those, about 2,100 U.S., Russian, British, and French warheads are on high alert, ready for use on short notice.

Trump’s Warning to NATO

President Trump has threatened to breach the NATO treaty and send U.S. military support only to allies who contribute what he deems a fair share of their national GDPs to defense spending.

Even without the U.S., France and the UK provide NATO with the third-largest nuclear arsenal, maintaining the alliance’s strategic deterrent capabilities.

Global Nuclear Arsenal Decline

Despite the world’s continued ability to cause mass destruction, nuclear weapon stockpiles have significantly declined over the last few decades. Since the Cold War, global arsenals have decreased from a peak of approximately 70,300 warheads in 1986 to an estimated 12,331 at the beginning of 2025.

If you enjoyed this topic, check out this graphic that illustrates the total number of nuclear warhead stockpiles from 1945 to 2024.

The Iranians Load Missiles “Onto Launchers In All Underground Missile Cities” After Trump Threatens Them With “Bombing The Likes Of Which They Have Never Seen Before” | The Economic Collapse

The Trump administration is assembling an armada of bombers at a military base on the island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, and meanwhile the Iranians have loaded their missile launchers and are prepared to instantly respond to any attack. In other words, we have never been closer to an apocalyptic war in the Middle East than we are right now.  I really do not understand why more people are not talking about this, because I am convinced that this could become one of the biggest stories of 2025.  Once Iranian ballistic missiles start falling in Israeli cities and on U.S. bases throughout the Middle East, there will be no turning back. Unfortunately, it appears that peace is not likely at this point.

On Sunday, the Tehran Times warned the western world that Iran’s ballistic missiles are “loaded onto launchers in all underground missile cities and are ready for launch”…

The state-controlled Tehran Times reported on X Sunday that Iran’s missiles are “loaded onto launchers in all underground missile cities and are ready for launch.” The newspaper issued a stern warning, stating that any escalation would come “at a heavy cost for the US government and its allies.”

The Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Force also issued a statement warning that any act of aggression against Iran will be met with a “severe response.”

So why have the Iranians made such an alarming move?

Needless to say, it is because they know that they could soon be bombed into oblivion.

I believe that President Trump is not bluffing.  In an interview with Kristen Welker of NBC News, he explained that if Iran does not make a deal there “will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before”…

“If they don’t make a deal there will be bombing. It will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before,” Trump told NBC News’ Kristen Welker during a phone interview.

I have no doubt that Trump is serious.

And to back up his threat, he has assembled “an air armada of B-2 and B-52 bombers” at a base on the island of Diego Garcia…

In the meantime, the U.S. is building an air armada of B-2 and B-52 bombers in the Indian Ocean at the Joint U.S.-U.K. Base of Diego Garcia.

CBN News military analyst Chuck Holton explained, “Keep in mind the B-2 bomber was essentially built specifically to bomb the nuclear facilities in Iran. They have the capability of lifting what they call a massive ordnance penetrator; the largest bunker-buster bomb the United States possesses.”

If B-2 and B-52 bombers start bombing Iran’s nuclear facilities that are deep underground, we will officially be at war with Iran.

And that war could commence at lot sooner than most people think.

The letter that President Trump sent to the Iranians gave them a two month deadline, and a good bit of time has already passed since they received that letter

It’s been several weeks since US President Donald Trump sent a letter to Iran giving it two months to arrive at a nuclear deal or it would likely face military force.

No one knows exactly how Trump will calculate the deadline: two months from when the letter was sent, two months from when the Islamic Republic received the letter, two months from when it responded, or two months from when talks may start.

But after Trump’s deadline, European countries Germany, France, and the UK (the E-3) set June as a deadline for Tehran to reach a nuclear deal lest it face global sanctions being snapped back on it according to a provision of the 2015 nuclear deal it signed with the West.

The Iranians have clearly stated that there will be no negotiations, and the clock is ticking.

One very important point that I want to make is that if we do go to war with Iran, it will probably kill any potential peace deal with the Russians.

Meanwhile, Trump is insisting that his administration will “go as far as we have to go” to take control of Greenland…

President Donald Trump said the U.S. will “go as far as we have to go” to get control of Greenland, ahead of a planned visit to the Arctic island by Vice President JD Vance that has prompted criticism from Greenland and Denmark.

Vance, second lady Usha Vance and Energy Secretary Chris Wright will lead the U.S. delegation to visit the Pituffik military space base in the northwest of the island, having scaled back plans for a broader and longer visit. The American group was originally planning to visit the Greenlandic capital, Nuuk, and a dog sled race.

Honestly, I do not understand his reasoning.

We already have a military base in Greenland.

Why do we need the entire country?

According to Trump, “we can’t have great international security” unless we control it, and he is also claiming that “the world needs us to have Greenland”

“We need Greenland. And the world needs us to have Greenland, including Denmark. Denmark has to have us have Greenland. And, you know, we’ll see what happens. But if we don’t have Greenland, we can’t have great international security.”

If this is going to happen, it isn’t going to happen peacefully, because the new prime minister of Greenland is being quite defiant

Greenland’s new prime minister has issued a strong message to Donald Trump following the US president’s claims over the island. In a defiant message, Jens-Frederik Nielsen said: “We must listen when others talk about us. But we must not be shaken. President Trump says the United States is ‘getting Greenland.’

“Let me make this clear: The U.S. is not getting that. We don’t belong to anyone else. We decide our own future. We must not act out of fear. We must respond with peace, dignity and unity.

“And it is through these values that we must clearly, clearly and calmly show the American president that Greenland is ours. It was like that yesterday. That’s how it is today. And that’s how it will be in the future.”

So how is this going to play out?

Does Trump actually intend to use the U.S. military to invade Greenland?

Surely he can’t be seriously considering that, because such a move would turn the entire world against us.

In addition, a military invasion of Greenland would probably kill any potential peace deal with the Russians.

If you have read my books, you already understand why a peace deal with the Russians is vitally important.

This is our one and only opportunity to avoid the kinetic phase of World War III, and we must not blow it.

‘They’re Trying to Smell Something on the Ground” — CEO of Government-Backed Drone Company Drops Shocking Insight on New Jersey Crisis Which Leaves Joe Rogan Alarmed | The Gateway Pundit

John Ferguson, CEO of Saxon Aerospace LLC

In a shocking revelation that has left social media ablaze and even caught the attention of podcast king Joe Rogan, John Ferguson, the CEO of Saxon Aerospace LLC, has delivered a bombshell theory on a series of mysterious drone sightings.

Ferguson, an expert in the field of unmanned aerial systems (UAS), believes these drones are not operating with nefarious intent but are likely searching for something critical on the ground.

Speaking in a now-viral TikTok video, Ferguson shared his professional insights into the growing phenomenon, speculating that these unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are part of a classified operation aimed at recovering a nuclear warhead that allegedly disappeared in Europe and could be en route to the United States.

Ferguson:
I wanted to give you all my opinion on what I think could be going on with these drones.

I don’t particularly believe that these have a nefarious intent. I could be wrong. But I want to give you the truth and what I believe. It’s my own opinion, and I’ve not bounced this off of anybody. So if you think it’s bullshit, whatever, that’s cool. I don’t want to spread misinformation, as we know that there’s a lot of that going around.

Ferguson linked the sightings to a shocking claim: the disappearance of over 80 nuclear warheads from Ukraine after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

According to Ferguson, these weapons have never been fully accounted for, and at least one of them may have been headed toward the United States.

Ferguson recounted a conversation with a government insider who physically handled one of the missing warheads, only to see his warnings ignored by U.S. authorities.

Ferguson:
Back in the 1980s, Ronald Reagan had dismantled the nuclear program. With Russia, there were countless nuclear missiles that were disarmed and disposed of. Well, there were over 80, I believe. There were over 80 nuclear warheads that were in Ukraine that came up missing.

We don’t know where they are. Maybe somebody does, but nobody really knows where these are. I speak with some pretty high-level government officials on this stuff. It seems as though that is the case.

I spoke to a gentleman a few months ago who was trying to raise an alarm to the highest levels of our government, which they had their ears closed, about this one particular nuclear warhead that he physically put his hands on.

He physically touched this warhead that was left over from Ukraine. And he knew that that thing was headed towards the United States. That is a very serious deal. And everyone knows that the United States government, this administration, is pushing to get into a war with Russia. We all know that. We all feel it. We all see it.  We’ll back up a few years…

Ferguson linked these sightings to earlier reports of unidentified drones along the Interstate 70 corridor, stretching from Colorado to Missouri. At the time, it was believed those drones were searching for missing radioactive materials within the United States.

Ferguson: Now, with new sightings near New Jersey and along the East Coast, Ferguson suggests this may be part of a larger, secretive government operation to locate the missing warhead.

Do you all remember when those drones were mysteriously flying across the Interstate 70 corridor from Colorado, up in Nebraska, down here into Kansas, and out into Missouri?

Well, it was believed that those drones were looking for radioactive material because there had been some material that came up missing here in the United States.

They felt like it was high probability that the nuclear or the radioactive material would be taken along the Interstate 70 corridor heading east or west or south. From what we understand, they were out there trying to find this radioactive material.

The CEO further explained that the specific use of drones at night, equipped with advanced sensing technologies, suggests that they are being used for specialized tasks such as intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR).

Ferguson dismissed the idea that these drones are used for ordinary tasks like mapping or agricultural work, which are typically conducted during daylight.

Instead, he insists these operations are likely aimed at detecting hidden or elusive targets, including radioactive materials.

Ferguson: Now, drones have no reason to be in the air at night unless you’re doing some type of ISR work, intelligence surveillance reconnaissance, looking for bad guys or looking for a victim, a search and rescue victim, or law enforcement, or some type of military project.

There’s no reason for a drone to be flying at night, really, because they don’t see shit. Unless you have thermal optics, drones really don’t see stuff. You need to do mapping during the day. If you’re going to do farming stuff, mostly do it during the day.

The only reason why you would ever fly an unmanned aircraft at night is if you’re looking for something, whether it be a person or trying to smell gas.

We have methane gas detection systems that can detect gas leaks and pipelines. You really wouldn’t use thermal optics for trying to find gas leaks just simply because the only way you’re actually going to find a gas leak with thermal optics is if the gas leak is aggressive enough that it has a difference in temperature. Because radio thermal imaging, it creates a digital image based off the temperature of variance.

So whatever is different in temperature, it creates an image. Gas, usually gas leaks so slow that it goes quickly into ambient before you can even see it. So we have special sensors that can detect gas leaks.

We also have special sensors that can detect radioactive material. So with this gentleman that I had spoken with who was trying to raise the alarm to try to get somebody in the government to say, ‘Hey, we need to work together to go try to find this nuclear warhead.’ None of that ever happened. They knew that warhead was on its way to the United States.

That’s all that ever came of it. Nothing ever happened. This government did not do anything at all to help this gentleman raise the alarm and raise awareness that there is a very deadly weapon on its way to the United States. It’s out there.

Nobody knows where it’s at now. It left Europe, now it’s gone. My guess, my own guess, is that these drones are not nefarious in intent. If they are, they are, but I doubt it. But if they are our drones, the only reason why they would be flying, and flying that low, is because they’re trying to smell something on the ground.

Ferguson explained that the type of drones observed—multi-copters rather than fixed-wing aircraft—are limited in range due to their battery life and operational capabilities.

Given these limitations, Ferguson hypothesizes that the drones are being launched from unknown locations within the United States and are flying low to the ground for a specific purpose: sniffing out substances such as gas leaks or radioactive material.

Ferguson: My belief is they’re trying to smell something on the ground, gas, leaks, radioactive material, whatever. Do I think that If they’re coming up out of the ocean, no, I don’t think so.

Drones that are multi-copter type drones, not the fixed wing aircraft that look like regular airplanes, but the multi-copters, they only have so much battery life. They have hybrid versions that are gas-powered with electric, but those can still only fly for a short period of time.

There’s no way in hell that any drone is going to go miles off the Coast as a multi-copter and fly into the interior of the United States and do a bunch of work and then turn around and fly back. It’s just physics will not allow that to happen.

So these drones, I believe, are launched from a location that nobody knows. But I do believe that they’re flying low enough that they’re just trying to sniff the ground and try to find something. So again, I hate to be a pessimist or a guy that thinks directly to the negative.

However, I know as a professional, we build professional stuff for the military. I believe that they’re actually out there trying to smell something that’s very important.
