America’s Streets Are Filled With Poop, And Billions Of Gallons Of Untreated Wastewater Are Being Poured Into Our Lakes And Rivers | The Economic Collapse

All over the United States, the streets of our major cities are covered in poop. So exactly what does that say about us? It isn’t as if this is a new problem. As long as human societies have existed, human and animal waste has been a problem. Civilized societies have always found ways to deal with it, while uncivilized societies have always struggled to keep things clean. Unfortunately, despite all of our advanced technology, we seem to be fighting a losing battle. In fact, one New York City resident recently complained that there is “poop everywhere” this winter…

“It’s horrible: It’s, like, garbage and poop everywhere,” Mott Haven resident Lulu Gerena, 28, fumed to The Post while walking her Beagle-mix Pinkie near the stench-filled stretch.

“It’s not fair, because everybody has to step in the poop, because nobody is picking it up.”

Residents are steaming over the slobs who are turning city sidewalks into a sewer trail.

For months, snow has been mixing with poop to create gigantic mountains of “snow poop”.

Now that those mountains have been melting, people are posting videos of what is being left behind

Of course conditions on the west coast are even worse.

At one elementary school in San Francisco, students have turned jumping over piles of human excrement into a game

But the school, located a block from the 16th Street BART Plaza, has been dealt a tough hand, geographically. Six school staffers and six parents told Mission Local about their routine sights: Drug use, drug dealing, public intoxication, public urination, public defecation, littering, sex and nudity. All are in the school’s immediate environs.

“My daughter covers her mouth and nose,” said Karen Puc, the mother of a seven-year-old student, in Spanish. “Sometimes we play that we jump poop on the street,” she said. They make it a game, like hopscotch.

Isn’t that horrible?

No student should have to grow up in such conditions.

Further north in the once beautiful city of Vancouver, the human waste problem has become so severe that local businesses are actually hiring “poop fairies” to help clean up the mess…

Vancouver, renowned for its natural beauty and laid back lifestyle, has a human waste problem so bad that businesses have hired “poop fairies” to speed the cleanup on city sidewalks.

Dodging human and dog waste has become a real problem for pedestrians navigating the city’s sidewalks, and it’s not just a problem plaguing the Downtown Eastside. The city’s own feces removal response program can’t seem to keep up so business improvement districts have hired the “poop fairies.”

“Everybody down here feels that you end up walking in stuff no matter where you go. So, basically, it’s getting tracked around,” said Dave Hamm, vice president of the Vancouver Network of Drug Users, which counts about 3,000 people in its membership.

Sadly, this is a crisis that isn’t going away any time soon.

As the ranks of the homeless and the ranks of the drug addicts continue to expand, the number of people pooping in the streets will only continue to grow.

Meanwhile, America’s crumbling pipes are pouring billions of gallons of untreated wastewater into our lakes and rivers.

I know that sounds crazy, and so let me give you some examples.

When a section of the Potomac Interceptor recently failed, 243 million gallons of untreated wastewater went directly into the Potomac River

In Montgomery County, Maryland on Jan. 19, a 72″ diameter section of a sewage pipe known as the Potomac Interceptor collapsed. The pipe carries about 60 million gallons of wastewater daily from near Washington Dulles Airport in Virginia to a station that pumps it to an advanced wastewater treatment plant.

As a result of the collapse, more than 243 million gallons of untreated wastewater have flowed into the Potomac River, DC Water, the utility responsible for the system, reported on Feb. 6.

That was a major disaster, but an incident that occurred in Wisconsin last August was far worse.

When the city of Milwaukee was overwhelmed by a giant rainstorm, 5.14 billion gallons of untreated wastewater were “discharged into nearby waterways and Lake Michigan”

For example, intense rain in Milwaukee in August 2025 led to 5.14 billion gallons of untreated wastewater from the city’s combined sewer being discharged into nearby waterways and Lake Michigan, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

Needless to say, incidents like this are just the tip of the iceberg.

There are more failures of our rapidly aging wastewater systems literally every single day.

Some of the pipes that are in the ground are more than 100 years old, and that is a major problem

While the average lifespan of a wastewater system is 40 to 50 years, many of the plants and pipes installed across the nation could be twice that old or more. In cities like Washington, D.C., for example, Olson said, wastewater systems were put in well over a century ago.

In some cases, those pipes may have been replaced, but in many cases, including Chicago, the pipes have not been replaced, he said. “They may have been repaired or maintained at times, but there are still pipes (sewers) in the ground throughout the United States that are well over a century old.”

According to the EPA, it would take more than 300 billion dollars over the next two decades to properly upgrade our wastewater systems.

And of course this is just one element of the unprecedented national infrastructure crisis that we are now facing.

Overall, we literally need trillions of dollars that we do not have to deal with America’s crumbling infrastructure.

Since we are absolutely drowning in debt, it is highly likely that our rapidly aging infrastructure will continue to be neglected.

So more pipes will break, more bridges and tunnels will collapse, more roads will crumble, more accidents will happen, and power grid failures will become more frequent.

We have a giant mess on our hands, and it is really starting to stink.

(VIDEO) Trump Announces Termination of Obama-Era “Endangerment Finding” on Greenhouse Gasses, Repealing Auto Stop-Start Feature and Green Emissions Standards in Cars – Obama Responds! | The Gateway Pundit

Former President Donald Trump delivers a speech in the White House, flanked by American flags and presidential seals, discussing key policies and initiatives.

President Trump announced on Thursday with Environmental Protection Agency EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, that his administration is terminating Obama’s climate-based regulations on automobiles that classified greenhouse gases as a threat to public health.

Trump said the Obama EPA’s “endangerment finding” was the precursor used to introduce “the massive and really, very expensive electric vehicle mandate.” It further mandated the automatic engine start-stop feature on newer cars, which Trump says he is ending, along with “all additional green emission standards imposed unnecessarily on vehicle models and engines between 2012 and 2027 and beyond.”

The policy classified greenhouse gases and car emissions as public health threats, which Trump says “severely damaged the American auto industry and massively drove up prices for American consumers.”

“This action will eliminate over $1.3 trillion of regulatory costs and help bring car prices tumbling down dramatically,” Trump added.

“You’re going to get a better car. You’re going to get a car that starts easier, a car that works better for a lot less money.”

Trump: I’m pleased to be joined today by EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, who you all know, and to announce the single largest deregulatory action in American history. That’s a big statement in American history, and I think we can add the words “by far.”

Under the process just completed by the EPA, we are officially terminating the so-called “endangerment finding,” a disastrous Obama-era policy that severely damaged the American auto industry and massively drove up prices for American consumers. Prices went up incredibly for a worse product. This action will eliminate over $1.3 trillion of regulatory costs and help bring car prices tumbling down dramatically. You’re going to get a better car. You’re going to get a car that starts easier, a car that works better for a lot less money.

The President further announced that he is terminating all of the unnecessary energy standards on American vehicles, which he says will save Americans trillions and reduce vehicle costs by an average of $3,000.

Trump: In 2009, Barack Hussein Obama, his EPA designated fossil fuels, such as oil, gas, and other things that actually make factories rock and roll and other things drive very nicely, as a threat to health and human welfare. Known as the “endangerment finding,” this determination had no basis in fact, had none whatsoever, and it had no basis in law. On the contrary, over the generations, fossil fuels have saved millions of lives and lifted billions of people out of poverty all over the world. And you see it with the blackouts all over where they don’t use it, where they went to wind, intermittent wind, which is weak and ineffective and very, very costly, the most costly energy there is. And people are dying because there was no air conditioning, or there was no heating, lots of other things, bad things happened. And yet this radical rule became the legal foundation for the green new scam, one of the greatest scams in history, probably as great, maybe even greater than Russia, Russia, Russia, hoax, etc, which the Obama and Biden administration used to destroy countless jobs.

The jobs have been just decimated, although they’re all coming back because of tariffs; they’re all coming back into our country at levels we’ve never seen before. But it raised prices and caused immense harm to the US auto industry. We thought irreparable, but we’ve got them back. We’re coming back now. I was in Detroit, as you know, with Ford, and they had one of the earliest plants from the early 1900s, and it was going to be closed down. And then when I won, they said, let’s keep it open for a little while. Let’s see what happens. And they just announced, as you know, they’re going 24 hours around the clock with that same plant that was going to be closed because of what we’ve done.

For example, under the endangerment finding, they forced the hated start-stop feature onto American consumers, which unnecessarily shuts off a car’s engine when you stop at a red light. In other words, the engine goes off. That’s great. The endangerment finding was also used to impose the massive and really, very expensive electric vehicle mandate, expensive in the sense that nobody wanted it. Everybody was going to be forced to buy an electric car in a very short period of time, even though you can’t power the car, because we would have had to spend $5 trillion on power stations. That’s all dead, gone, over. These crippling restrictions were a major factor in driving up car prices to unprecedented levels, and the car that you were getting was not nearly as good.

In four years under the Biden administration, the price of a new and used car rose more than 22% all to facilitate the green new scam, without achieving any meaningful impact on the environment, but making the car worse. That’s why, effective immediately, we’re repealing the ridiculous endangerment finding and terminating all additional green emission standards imposed unnecessarily on vehicle models and engines between 2012 and 2027 and beyond. This action will save American consumers trillions of dollars and will lower the average cost of a new vehicle by close to $3,000.

Barack Obama responded to the rule change, claiming Trump is making Americans “less safe, less healthy and less able to fight climate change — all so the fossil fuel industry can make even more money.”

IN TODAY’S DIGEST

EXECUTIVE NEWS SUMMARY

The Editors

  • Canadian trans shooter: The tragic school attack in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, on Tuesday claimed eight lives, not counting the deceased assailant. The 18-year-old attacker killed six at the school after killing his mother, who expressed support for trans rights, and his stepbrother at home. Early reports suggested that the “female gunperson” was actually a man who identified as a woman, which the Royal Canadian Mounted Police has now confirmed. The RCMP insists on honoring the murderer’s preferred pronouns while PBS News refers to him only as “the suspect.” The reason is obvious: The Canadian government and Leftmedia cannot admit that trans identification is a sign either of severe mental health issues or of severe parental and medical abuse — in most cases, both.
  • Drug cartel drones: The Federal Aviation Administration temporarily closed the airspace around the El Paso airport on Wednesday, citing “special security reasons.” The FAA initially said the closure would last 10 days, but it quickly reversed course, and the airspace has since been reopened. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth explained, “The FAA and DOW acted swiftly to address a cartel drone incursion. The threat has been neutralized, and there is no danger to commercial travel in the region.” El Paso Mayor Renard Johnson expressed frustration over the sudden airspace closure “without coordinating with the city, the airport, the hospitals, the community leadership.” Patriot Post Publisher Mark Alexander says, “Reading between the lines, I believe there was likely a credible threat from a drone against commercial aircraft at El Paso, but when Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy issued his statement, that was deemed too threatening to travelers and may have spilled something classified.”
  • Border czar announces end of immigration crackdown in Minnesota: Operation Metro Surge, which saw thousands of immigration enforcement agents stationed in Minnesota’s Twin Cities, is coming to an end. Border Czar Tom Homan proposed ending the six-week operation, and the president concurred. Homan reports that cooperation with local officials has improved, and many arrests can now take place in the safety of jails where criminal illegals are being held. Operation Metro Surge saw more than 4,000 arrests. Despite Homan’s meetings with Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, it does not appear that Frey has backed down from his stance that Minneapolis police will not honor federal immigration law. Time will tell if this action will prove to be a win for riotous and insurrectionist protesters or the Rule of Law and mass deportation efforts.
  • House passes the SAVE Act; Senate unlikely to follow: The House passed the SAVE Act on Wednesday in a 218-213 vote along partisan lines. The SAVE Act should be unapologetically supported by every red-blooded American. In fact, a Pew Research survey shows that required voter ID enjoys massive bipartisan support — except in Congress. Unlike 71% of Democrat voters, congressional Democrats strongly oppose election integrity laws requiring photo ID. The reason is simple: This would prevent noncitizens from voting and make ballot fraud much harder, though Democrats argue that some people just can’t figure out how to get IDs and would be kept from voting. This bill is unfortunately likely to die in the Senate, as a similar bill did last year, because current filibuster rules would require it to clear a 60-vote threshold.
  • House passes Dems’ legislation against Trump’s tariffs: The House on Wednesday passed the Democrat-led resolution to terminate Donald Trump’s use of the National Emergencies Act to impose tariffs. The resolution passed thanks to six Republican lawmakers joining the Democrats. It’s largely symbolic because even if the Senate were to take it up and pass it, Trump would veto it, and there are not enough votes to override a veto. One of the Republicans who voted in favor, Rep. Don Bacon, argued, “Article I of the Constitution places authority over taxes and tariffs with Congress for a reason. … It’s time for Congress to reclaim that responsibility.” Meanwhile, his Republican colleague, Rep. Brian Mast, who voted against the bill, observed, “Even Canada acknowledges that they have this as a national emergency. This is Democrats trying to ignore that there is a fentanyl crisis.”
  • Omar yearns for “pedophile” Trump’s execution: Minnesota (read: Somalia) Rep. Ilhan Omar took to X to call President Trump the leader of the “Pedophile Protection Party” after his administration released the Epstein files, something the Biden administration steadfastly refused to do. The practicing Muslim added, “At least in Somalia they execute pedophiles, not elect them.” Omar’s religion was founded by Muhammad, a bigamist and pedophile who married a six-year-old girl — although some Islamic apologists insist he waited until she was a “mature” nine-year-old before consummating the marriage. Somalia has one of the highest child marriage rates worldwide, with nearly 15% marrying before the age of 15, and legislation in that country has been proposed that would allow marriage at the age of 10. And what would Omar do about people marrying their siblings?
  • Bad Bunny lost nearly 10M viewers: Viewership numbers are in for the Super Bowl this past Sunday, which generated nearly 125 million viewers across all of NBC’s platforms. That total puts it just behind last year’s record-breaking Super Bowl viewership of 128 million. However, unlike last year, when the Halftime Show featuring Bad Bunny began, overall viewership dropped by nearly 10 million. This is the opposite of what happened during last year’s Super Bowl, which saw an increase in viewership at halftime. Meanwhile, Turning Point USA’s competing “All-American Halftime Show” featuring Kid Rock was streamed on YouTube and several other platforms, drawing nearly 28 million viewers. Given that success, TPUSA may do it again next year, especially if the NFL elects to ignore Americans in favor of catering to a world audience.
  • California’s rent relief for illegals scam: LA County supervisor Lindsey Horvath announced a $30 million rent relief program for wildfire survivors — which would be nice except it also applies to “people impacted by ICE raids.” It is California, but at least Palisades fire survivors who are still renting since their homes burned down last year will get some help, right? Wrong. As it turns out, the applications will be sorted, and priority will be given to those in “COVID vulnerability zones.” It is unclear what COVID vulnerability has to do with wildfires or ICE raids, but it is clear that these priority zones will mean that illegals will get their funds and likely bleed the program dry long before anyone in the area of the Palisades fire.
  • Former Miss CA USA booted from WH Religious Liberty Commission: Former Miss California USA Prejean Boller was kicked off the White House Religious Liberty Commission this week. Boller’s expulsion came after she got into a heated back-and-forth with witnesses during a hearing on Israel’s war in Gaza. Boller, who showed up for the event wearing a Palestinian flag pin, took umbrage with a witness who refused to condemn Israel for what it did to Gaza. She also took offense over podcaster Candace Owens being labeled antisemitic, stating, “I listen to her daily. … She’s not an antisemite. She just doesn’t support Zionism.” Commission Chairman Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick explained his decision to boot Boller, stating, “No member of the Commission has the right to hijack a hearing for their own personal and political agenda on any issue.”
  • Olympics bans Ukrainian athlete over his helmet featuring friends killed in the war: Ukrainian skeleton athlete Vladyslav Heraskevych has been disqualified from competing in the Winter Games in Italy due to his helmet that honors his Ukrainian friends and fellow athletes who were killed in the Russia-Ukraine war with a simple display of their images. He refused the IOC’s request to wear a different helmet, stating in response, “This is [the] price of our dignity.” The IOC cited an Olympic rule against political messages on the field of play as the reason for the violation. In 2022 at the Beijing Olympics, Heraskevych displayed a “No war in Ukraine” sign after his final run, and the IOC did not view merely calling for peace as a violation of the same rule. Heraskevych was a medal contender in the sport and said he would appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

EPA Upends the Endangerment Finding

Nate Jackson

In what EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin called “the largest act of deregulation in the history of the United States,” the Environmental Protection Agency is repealing the “endangerment finding” made by Barack Obama’s EPA in 2009. That legal determination based on The Science™ says greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide, methane, and four others, are pollutants, which then requires the federal government to regulate emissions of those gases under the 1963 Clean Air Act. Repealing that finding is certainly a huge and welcome rollback of climate policy.

Naturally, the climate alarmists — whom we often call ecofascists for their use of fear tactics to justify massive government intrusion in everyday life — are fit to be tied.

I’ll sum it up this way: Alarmists blame emissions for climate change, which they claim causes a seemingly never-ending parade of horribles from asthma to wildfires and from droughts to floods. Therefore, they reason, we must reduce emissions by every means necessary — preferably through heavy-handed government regulations. The pipe dream of “net zero” emissions is their goal because, to the climate cultists, this is existential.

That’s why Obama launched this overreach to classify gases we breathe alongside actual pollutants that cause harm. It’s why Joe Biden took it as far as essentially mandating electric vehicles. Donald Trump and his administration argue that repealing the finding will lead to deregulation savings of $1.3 trillion on everything from cars to energy.

“More energy drives human flourishing,” said Interior Secretary Doug Burgum. “Energy abundance is the thing that we have to focus on, not regulating certain forms of energy out.”

Energy Secretary Chris Wright added, “Our goal is to drive down the price of energy for Americans.”

Alarmists always counter that it’ll be vastly more expensive if we don’t submit to their prescribed regulations. We know how much regulations cost, but it takes an awful lot of faith in often disingenuous people to believe that Big Government rules generate any savings.

The Supreme Court has already ruled on this. Last July, when the Zeldin-led EPA announced its intention on this finding, our Thomas Gallatin wrote:

In the [George W. Bush-era] 2007 case Massachusetts v. EPA, the Supreme Court considered the issue of whether the Environmental Protection Agency could regulate GHGs under the Clean Air Act. The Court ruled 5-4 that “greenhouse gases fit well within the Act’s capacious definition of ‘air pollutant,’” meaning the “EPA has statutory authority to regulate emission of such gases.” Tellingly, the Court noted that “policy judgments have nothing to do with whether greenhouse gas emissions contribute to climate change and do not amount to a reasoned justification for declining to form a scientific judgment.” Instead, the Court said that the EPA had the authority to determine whether GHGs “cause or contribute to air pollution which may be reasonably be anticipated to endanger public health or welfare, or whether the science is too uncertain to make a reasoned decision.”

That ruling means ecofascist groups already have lawsuit paperwork prepared to immediately challenge the Trump administration in court.

Team Trump wants them to bring it on. Part of the rationale for repealing the endangerment finding is to provoke a challenge that could get the Supreme Court, with its current 6-3 conservative majority, to overturn Massachusetts or at least allow this policy to move forward. Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Samuel Alito, and Justice Clarence Thomas all dissented in the 2007 case, and several subsequent cases have undermined the legal framework of that ruling.

The Trump administration knows that a Democrat administration could reverse course without the Supreme Court’s help, though there could be another way.

The New York Times stumbled onto a novel concept that, under our constitutional system of three coequal branches, might just work: “A more definitive way to address the issue would be for Congress to weigh in. Democrats could pass legislation that defined greenhouse gases as air pollutants under the Clean Air Act, giving the E.P.A. the explicit authority to regulate them. Conversely, Republicans could enact legislation that said the opposite.”

Big if true.

Sarcasm aside, that’s exactly Team Trump’s strategy — to take back executive and legislative authority instead of ceding it to judges and left-wing activists.

The alarmists act as if Republicans want smoggy air and dirty water, as well as to suffocate kids and torment puppies. The only way to save the planet, they insist, is with the heavy hand of government. That’s slanderous fearmongering from a group of Chicken Littles whose cataclysmic prophecies have failed to materialize time after time.

Even The Washington Post’s editorial gets it, writing, “Free-market-driven innovation has done more to combat climate change than regulatory power grabs like the ‘endangerment finding’ ever did.”

There’s a bigger truth, though, as argued by columnist David Harsanyi: “The notion that man-made greenhouse gases pose an existential threat to humankind has been little more than a backdoor way to institute unpopular environmentalist policies and temper economic growth. It’s about time we end the scam.”

The Trump administration is moving that ball forward.

Climate Alarmists Are Often Wrong But Never in Doubt | ZeroHedge

Authored by Gary Abernathy via The Empowerment Alliance,

One of the most annoying things about climate doomsayers is the certainty with which they make their dire predictions, while simultaneously making excuses for all their past prognostications that failed to materialize. Let’s revisit a few.

In the early to mid-1970s, several magazine articles and a number of scientists predicted that cooling trends could usher in a new “mini-ice age” beginning within a few short years. Didn’t happen. In fact, new crystal balls went from cold to hot.

A June 1989 Associated Press story quoted “a senior U.N. environmental official” who claimed that “entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000.

Noel Brown, director of the New York office of the U.N. Environment Program, insisted that “governments have a 10-year window of opportunity to solve the greenhouse effect before it goes beyond human control.” Without action “ocean levels will rise by up to three feet, enough to cover the Maldives and other flat island nations.”

At last report, the Maldives continue to thrive – thanks largely to growing tourism! According to CBS News, in 2009 former Vice President Al Gore (always good for a chuckle) “told a U.N. climate conference that new data suggests the Arctic polar ice cap may disappear in the summertime as soon as five to seven years from now,” meaning 2016 at the latest. Didn’t happen.

In 2000, the UK Independent ran an article quoting a scientist who suggested that within a decade, thanks to global warming, British children “won’t know what snow is.” Don’t tell that to the British youngsters and others who experienced the severe winters of 2010, 2013, 2018, etc.

Enough? Let’s do a couple more.

There were numerous predictions in the early 2000s that all glaciers in Glacier National Park would disappear by 2020 or, if we were lucky, by 2030.

Later predictions delayed the glaciers’ inevitable demise to 2050,” according to a December 2025 article in the Daily Inter Lake. “Now, researchers say there is reason to believe some of the park’s perennial ice formations will persist into the 2100s.” Glaciers are famously stubborn. Several news stories over the years have quoted scientists and climate alarmists predicting that New York City would disappear under water thanks to flooding due to climate change.

For instance, in 2011, on the heels of Hurricane Irene, The Guardian produced the headline, “Major storms could submerge New York City in next decade,” and a subhead, “Sea-level rise due to climate change could cripple the city in Irene-like storm scenarios, new climate report claims.”

Instead, the only tsunami facing New York City is the flood of debt coming under socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

Despite a track record that should discourage even the most ardent true believer, the predictions keep flying, fast and furious, most centered these days around slightly rising temperatures that will allegedly increase rainfall, create more wicked storms, and lead to drought, flood (they always cover both possibilities) or other catastrophes.

“Climate change is real, it’s happening and unless we do something about it soon, the consequences will be severe,” according to Martin Krause, director of the United Nations Environment Programme’s Climate Change Division. Second verse, same as the first.

While most believers in manmade climate change are part of the “Let’s Come Up With the Worst Case Scenario and Hope it Scares Everyone Into Action” school of alarmism, it’s refreshing to occasionally come across someone with a more reasonable approach.

Fitting that bill might be Noah Kaufman, former senior economist at the Council of Economic Advisers during the Biden administration, currently a senior research scholar at Columbia University’s Center on Global Energy Policy and a co-director of the Resilient Energy Economies Initiative.

In a “let’s all calm down a minute” article appearing earlier this month in The Atlantic, Kaufman – while making it clear that he personally is firmly aboard the manmade climate change bandwagon – laments the specific time-and-date panic predictions that have helped lose respect and credibility for his cause.

“Few economists embrace these all-or-nothing views on climate policy,” Kaufman writes. Kaufman points out that “quantitative estimates of aggregated global damages over centuries lie far beyond our analytical capabilities. Small changes in assumptions … can yield results that appear tojustify virtually any policy response.”

At the end of the day, “these models can display a pessimistic worldview in which climate damages accelerate to catastrophic levels, or a more optimistic one in which human progress keeps damages relatively modest. They offer little help in determining which of these futures is coming.”

Kaufman concludes by acknowledging that “the full effects of climate change are unknowable, and a more constructive public discussion about climate policy will require getting more comfortable with that.”

I recommend Kaufman’s article. Even though I will likely remain among those who agree that the climate routinely changes but remain skeptical about the extent of mankind’s impact, I don’t mind discussing it and listening to different viewpoints. Such conversation is much more palatable with someone who is not exhibiting a holier-than-thou attitude or demeaning the intelligence of anyone who disagrees.

More manmade climate change believers who take a respectful, calmer and non-accusatoryapproach to the naysayers could go a long way in lowering the temperature – and don’t we all agree on that objective?

UN Conference Proves Climate Agenda Is All About Money And Woke Cultism | ZeroHedge

In the past five years the institutional discussions surrounding climate change have shifted noticeably from “net zero” goals (zero net carbon emissions from target countries) to a more mercenary debate over carbon taxation.  The question on everyone’s mind is this:  Who gets the most access to those delicious climate funds?

Who gets access to the cash is less important than who gets to manage the cash, but we’ll get to that issue in a moment.

The recent COP30 event held last week in Brazil was largely focused on wealth redistribution with a lesser emphasis on carbon reductions.  Climate “financing” is the name of the game, and COP30 was largely a squabble over which countries will get the most access to the various carbon taxes and donations collected by global intermediaries.  In fact, the conference was largely considered a failure.  From The Guardian:

“The sticking point was fossil fuels. As science has told us for well over a century, the carbon dioxide that burning them produces is heating up the planet, now to dangerous levels.  But in more than 30 years of annual climate meetings, the need for that to halt has been mentioned only once…”

“…Meanwhile, developing countries desperately wanted to move forward on securing the money that would help them cope with the already disastrous impacts of extreme weather.  By the early hours of Saturday, some delegates were ready to walk out and force a collapse. “It was on the edge for us,” said Ed Miliband, the UK energy minister. “I was prepared to walk away.””

The meaninglessness of the climate apparatus becomes evident at these kinds of events; flush with thousands of bureaucrats who serve no purpose, clamoring for money that is essentially stolen in the name of a crisis that doesn’t exist.

At COP30, developing countries secured a tripling to $120bn of annual finance to help them adapt to the impacts of extreme weather, but that sum will not be delivered in full until 2035.

Developing nations have already garnered billions in climate financing.  India, for example, receives around $30 billion annually in climate funding which is meant to help third-world countries reduce their reliance on oil and coal while developing “green tech.”  The dramatic inefficiency of green energy aside, it’s unlikely that much of this financing is actually going into improving carbon emissions in India or anywhere else.

The biggest beneficiaries are NGOs and Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) working closely with the World Bank.  These organizations collect the carbon funds and then redistribute that money according to their own guidelines.  Carbon taxes also represent a fresh revenues source for various governments in the first-world, with some of this money being transferred to intermediaries in the name of “Climate Reparations.”

The woke vernacular of the climate agenda is no coincidence.  Calls for reparation, equity and “climate justice” reveal the globalist/socialist roots of the global warming scam.  Environmental groups were quick to promote wealth redistribution in the name of imaginary climate crimes and “colonialism”.  COP30 partially adopted this language by supporting the Belém Package – An agreement to integrate “equity” into climate financing decisions.

“There can be no true climate justice without reparatory justice,” say climate activist groups in a letter sent to COP30.

“The climate crisis did not arise recently — it is a continuation of centuries of greenhouse emissions, extraction, dispossession, and racial violence,” the letter said, urging COP30 to address historical injustices and the need for reparations as part of any negotiation on climate.

The melding of woke activism and climate hysteria is part of a larger progressive cultism that, until recently, has been infecting global politics like a plague.  There are obviously millions of true believers when it comes to global warming doom, just as there were millions of people that embraced the pandemic hysteria of covid.  However, the main thrust of climate governance is still mostly about cold hard cash.

There is, of course, no science that supports the claim of a causation relationship between man-made carbon emissions and global warming.  As we have noted many times in the past, climate scientists rely on a tiny 140 year window of temperature data to defend their claims.  If we look at a much larger window of hundreds of millions of years, the temperatures today are actually some of the coldest ever recorded.

Furthermore, when comparing atmospheric carbon content data over the same timeline, it is undeniable that carbon emissions have no relation to planetary temps.  They simply do not match up.

Climate scientists dishonestly ignore this data in preference of a 140 year model; a meaningless timeline which offers no insight into why the Earth warms or cools and when it might do so in the future.  They insist on the assumption that carbon “pollution” created by human industry is the cause of current warming and then adjust their models to support this assumption.  It’s not science, it’s the opposite, but there’s a lot of money to be made by perpetuating the lie.

(VIDEO) “It’s a Conspiracy. We Have to Investigate Them Immediately.” – Trump DESTROYS Climate Change Hoaxers and Slams Countries “Losing Their Ass” and Going Bankrupt for Green Energy | The Gateway Pundit

President Trump on Wednesday trolled the climate hoaxers, calling for an investigation into their corruption and lies about the climate, while speaking at a US-Saudi Investment Forum.

“It’s a little conspiracy out there. We have to investigate them immediately. They probably are being investigated,” Trump appeared to joke during his speech at the Kennedy Center.

The United Nations and the Democratic Party have been pushing climate alarmism and signaling the imminent end of the world for decades to implement green energy policies and get rich off back-room deals.

In December 2008, former Vice President Al Gore predicted the North Polar Ice Cap would be completely ice-free in five years.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) claimed in 2019 that life on the planet would end in 12 years unless the US addressed the threat of global warming.

In August 2022, Joe Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act, which dedicated $369 billion to environmental programs and so-called clean energy. And 96% of the climate data used to justify this climate push is flawed. It was a scam.

Remember how Biden’s disastrous electric vehicle mandate and electric vehicle charging station program received $7.5 billion and built less than 10 electric vehicle chargers? Remember the federally funded electric school bus program, touted by Kamala Harris as a solution to the”climate crisis,” which turned out to be incredibly faulty and unusable by schools?

It’s all a scam which uses fear, intimidation, and even racism to push the agenda. Maybe you’ve heard of “climate equity,” a made-up term used by the left to claim that black people are disproportionately affected by climate change.

Leftists around the world even suffer from a made-up disorder called “climate anxiety” or “eco-anxiety,” which is defined by Harvard as “anxiety rooted in uncertainty about the future and alerting us to the dangers of a changing climate.”

“According to a survey by the American Psychological Association, more than two-thirds of Americans experience some climate anxiety,” Harvard claims.

But Trump destroyed the myth with some comical relief for those suffering, highlighting the ever-changing nomenclature of the climate hoax.

“It used to be global warming. It’s global warming! Well, that didn’t work because it started coming down,” Trump said. “They did the global cooling thing, then they just said, ‘We can’t keep up with this. It’s too much. So, we’ll go, perfect words: climate change!'”

“They’re covered. If it rains, if it snows, if it’s warm, it’s climate change is destroying the world!” Trump continued.

WATCH:

Trump: Everything was a new scam. Green, green, green. Look, I’m all for the environmental everything. I’m all for climate change. You know, they have a new word, climate change. It used to be global warming. It’s global warming! Well, that didn’t work because it started coming down. They did the global cooling thing, then they just said, “We can’t keep up with this. It’s too much. So, we’ll go, perfect words: climate change!”

They’re covered. If it rains, if it snows, if it’s warm, it’s climate change is destroying the world! Remember? The world was supposed to have been gone two years ago. They gave us 12 years, Howard, to live, right? 12 years, but that was 14 years ago. The world was going to burn up. But it got actually much cooler.

These people. It’s a little conspiracy out there. We have to investigate them immediately. They probably are being investigated.

Later in his speech, Trump slammed countries that are still building windmills, “losing their ass” and going bankrupt. He also revealed the requisite for talking about coal in the White House, saying, “you’re not allowed to mention the word coal unless you precede it by saying ‘clean, beautiful’”

WATCH:

Trump: I just hope that some of these countries that are losing their ass— we have countries that are going bankrupt because they’re putting windmills all over the place. You’re supposed to make money with energy, not lose money with energy. And we talk about oil, and we talk even Clean, Beautiful Coal.

I said, you’re not allowed to mention the word coal unless you precede it by saying “clean, beautiful” so I have my people in the office, they’re talking about coal, right? And they go, sir, a Clean, Beautiful Coal is doing very well, sir. And then two minutes later, “Clean, Beautiful Coal.” Then he mentions the third time, “sir, coal.” No! it’s clean and beautiful!

United Nations Reveals Global Climate Agenda at COP30 | IFA

From November 10 through 21, the global elites will gather in Brazil for the United Nations (UN) annual climate conference, known as COP30.

Who is praying on the wall?

World leaders, heads of state, diplomats, scientists, activists, non-profits, journalists, royalty, movie stars, and the rest, will make their way – many in private jets — to discuss the urgency of preparing for the worst impacts of climate change.

Climate change, according to the UN, causes “disasters” such as prolonged droughts, flooding, excessive high tides, rising sea levels, raging forest fires, stronger hurricanes, extreme blizzards, and global warming.

In other words, human activity is causing rapid changes to the global climate. Climate “experts” warn that we are running out of time to avoid a climate catastrophe.

Global warming appears to be the UN’s greatest concern. The best way to fight against rising temperatures, they say, is to reduce fossil fuel emissions to zero and invest in new technology to capture and process renewable energy.

All countries are vulnerable to climate change, the UN states, but it’s the developing countries who must provide financial support for action on climate change.

What is COP?

COP stands for Conference of the Parties, and it’s the main decision-making body for the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which was adopted by the UN in 1992.

COP30 is a gathering of the 197 countries that signed on to the 1992 UNFCC. This is the 30th year of this summit – hence COP. It’s a call to bring together governments and the private sector to create solutions for the climate “crisis”.

The goal of UNFCC is to “prevent ‘dangerous’ human interference with the climate system.” UNFCC declares they must “act in the interests of human safety even in the face of scientific uncertainty.”

COP30 Theme is the COP of Implementation

COP30 attendees are expected to work on the future of climate action and, according to the World Economic Forum, “deliver the transformational change that climate science demands.” The goals of COP 30 are:

  1. Turn talk into action

Countries have been promising for years to reduce their carbon emissions, the chief villain of global warming. But many countries have been dragging their feet to actually put their talk into action. But at COP30, countries will be asked to put forward specific plans to reduce pollution and carbon emissions.

  1. Closing the money gap

Rich countries need to step up with more funding for developing countries to implement clean-energy projects. Discussions will take place to develop a road map to mobilize $300 billion a year for climate finance. USAID was once a major donor to COP’s climate spending, but is no longer under Trump’s State Department.

  1. Preserve tropical rainforests

Since COP30 is taking place in Belem, Brazil, a city known as ‘the gateway to the Amazon’, there will be added emphasis on protecting rainforests. The attendees will debate Brazil’s Tropical Forest Forever Facility, an initiative to raise $125 billion to help countries maintain their tropical forests. In an ironic twist, Brazil has cut through tens of thousands of acres in the Amazon rainforest to build a four-lane highway for the 50,000 attendees to get to the COP30 climate summit.

  1. Social policies

Reducing poverty, creating jobs, and including women, indigenous peoples, and youth to ensure climate justice are on the COP30 agenda as well.

COP30 also hopes to continue accelerating the energy transition from fossil fuels to renewables, make progress towards a net-zero world, help countries adapt to climate change, and protect nature.

Climate Change Disagreements

Climate change activists and scientists declare with the utmost authority that the science proving climate change is “undeniable”, as well as “human-induced.”

But is it?

Many scientists and politicians disagree on the causes of climate change and the severity of its impact. Many question the reliability of predictor models to forecast future climate changes, as well as doubt the reliability of the weather and climate data being collected.

For instance, dissenting scientists claim that warming trends are overestimated, and long-term trends show very little temperature change.

Others say warming and cooling periods are part of the Earth’s natural climate cycles, and there is not enough data to prove it’s man-made.

Other scientists believe climate change may be real, but it is not an existential threat. They question the urgency to act. Some say warming may be beneficial, and it’s better to adapt to climate change than try to eliminate carbon emissions.

Dissenting scientists are often punished by the climate establishment of scientists, activists, politicians, and the media. They are dismissed, called climate deniers, and are often censored or silenced. Many are fired from their jobs or sanctioned by scientific organizations.

Are Climate Change Policies Losing Support?

President Trump, on his first day in office, removed the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement, calling it “an unfair, one-sided Paris climate accord rip-off.”

The agreement was for countries to limit global warming to 3.5 degrees Fahrenheit to reduce extreme weather caused by climate change. COP30 is looking for actionable carbon-cutting plans from member countries to stop the rise in global temperature.

In his speech at the UN in September, the president called climate change the “greatest con job ever perpetuated on the world”, a “green scam” based on “predictions made by stupid people.”

In March, Lee Zeldin, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator, announced a historic rollback of Biden-era climate change regulations. “We are driving a dagger straight into the heart of the climate change religion to drive down cost of living for American families, unleash American energy, bring auto jobs back to the U.S. and more,” Mr. Zeldin said.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio led the efforts to stop the International Maritime Organization (IMO) from adopting a carbon tax for global shipping.

The European Union is swiftly rolling back environmental policies in its Green Deal. The Guardian is reporting that political support for environmental rules has dried up in several wealthy economies. The UK is facing growing political resistance to the government’s COP pledge for net-zero emissions by 2050.

President Trump has also announced the U.S. will not be sending any “high-level” administration officials to COP30. Instead, the president says he is directly engaging with world leaders on energy partnerships. However, more than 100 state and local leaders announced they will attend COP30.

Polling on climate change reveals a divided America. For instance, one-third of Americans say climate change policies help the economy, one-third say they hurt, and one-third say they make no difference. Half the country says climate policies help the environment, while the other half says they harm or make no difference to the environment.

Bill Gates Pivots Away from Doomsday Climate Warnings

Recently, billionaire Bill Gates, an ardent supporter of climate change, now says climate change won’t be the “end of civilization” as many of the COP30 attendees believe. While COP30 argues for urgent action now to reduce carbon emissions, Mr. Gates says it’s time to “pivot” away from curbing emissions and work to prevent suffering in the world’s poorest countries.

If given the choice between ending malaria and a tenth-degree increase in global temperatures, Mr. Gates said, he’d choose getting rid of malaria. He urged world leaders gathering at COP30 to ask themselves if the money spent on climate change is the right thing to do.

His pivot has sent shockwaves through the climate activist community. Many are calling him just plain wrong. Mr. Gates is advocating for the world to adapt to climate change and is spending money on other energy technologies, such as nuclear power.

God is Sovereign Over the Earth

COP30 is convinced that an extreme and devastating climate crisis is imminent, but is it? They’ll gather in their private jets to earnestly discuss what urgent actions must be taken immediately to save the planet from imminent climate disaster… without any diverse voices or viewpoints.

Climate change may or may not be real or caused by humans using fossil fuels. But as Christians, what we do know is that God is good and He is sovereign. We worship the Creator, not the creation. Earth is our home for as long as God wants it to be, and we shall not fear. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. (Psalm 46:2-4)

Let’s pray for COP30 and the attendees that they will know this, too.

God said, It is I who made the earth and created mankind on it. (Isaiah 45:12) May Cop30 and the decisions made there reflect the glory of the Lord over all the earth.

Let’s Pray for COP30

Dear Heavenly Father, You are the Great Creator of Heaven and Earth. The world was formed at Your command. Nothing in nature would exist if not for You. You have authority over the whole earth, the winds, the seas, and the skies. You rule them, and they instantly obey You. You cover the sky with clouds. You supply the earth with rain and make grass grow on the hills. You send Your command to the earth. Your word runs swiftly. You spread the snow like wool and scatter the frost like ashes. You hurl down hail like pebbles. Who can withstand Your icy blast? You send Your word and melt them. You stir up Your breezes, and the waters flow. (Psalm 147: 8, 15-18)

Lord, may the attendees gathering look to You and acknowledge that You are sovereign. Give them wisdom to make decisions that honor You and your creation. May COP30 attendees view climate change honestly and not through any personal agenda. May they seek Your will. You set the earth on its foundations so it can never be moved. You covered it with the watery depths as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains. But at your rebuke the waters fled, at the sound of your thunder they took to flight; they flowed over the mountains, they went down into the valleys, to the place you assigned for them. You set a boundary they cannot cross; never again will they cover the earth. You springs pour water into the ravines; it flows between the mountains. (Psalm 104:5-10 NIV)

Lord, we pray that we would all care for your creation, seeking Your guidance. Remind us, Lord, that this world is not our home, but one day You will replace this earth with a new, incorruptible earth, so amazing and wonderful we cannot even imagine. The present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. (2 Peter 3:7 NIV)

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it (Psalm 24:1).

Predictably, Marxists at Climate Hoax Summit Attack President Trump Obsessively | Discern Report

World leaders gathered in Belém, Brazil, for the COP30 conference this week, turning the event into a platform for bashing President Donald Trump over his refusal to buy into their climate agenda. Trump skipped the summit entirely and sent no top officials, drawing sharp rebukes from several socialist figures who dominate the proceedings.

Colombian President Gustavo Petro led the charge. “Mr. Trump is against humanity. His absence here demonstrates that,” he declared.

Chilean President Gabriel Boric piled on, saying, “The president of the United States at the latest United Nations General Assembly said the climate crisis does not exist. That is a lie.”

Trump lambasted them at the UN in September, labeling the whole climate push “the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world.” He went further: “Climate change, no matter what happens, you’re involved in that. No more global warming, no more global cooling. All of these predictions made by the United Nations and many others, often for bad reasons, were wrong. They were made by stupid people that have cost their country’s fortunes and given those same countries no chance for success.”

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer avoided naming Trump but griped that the “unity” and “consensus” on climate matters had vanished. Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva echoed the sentiment, blasting “extremist forces that fabricate fake news and are condemning future generations to life on a planet altered forever by global warming.” Lula also claimed Trump confided in him: “President Trump told me he doesn’t believe in green energy. He will believe in it, because he’ll realize that we don’t have much of an alternative.”

The summit reeks of double standards. While these elites preach sacrifice, they jetted in on fuel-guzzling planes, racking up massive carbon emissions. Organizers even cleared swaths of rainforest to pave a highway for their convoys, leaving local acai farmers in the dust. When pressed on why they didn’t just video conference—like everyone else has since the COVID days—they shrugged it off with excuses about spotty internet.

Adding to the farce, China and India, the planet’s top polluters, didn’t even show up. Yet the blame falls squarely on Trump for shattering the so-called consensus. These Global South heavyweights have made it plain they won’t hobble their economies for pie-in-the-sky green targets, exposing the whole affair as a power grab by bureaucrats eager to dictate energy policies worldwide.

Trump’s team isn’t taking it lying down. Energy Secretary Chris Wright slammed the conference from Athens, where he’s negotiating more U.S. natural gas exports to Europe and Ukraine.

“It’s essentially a hoax. It’s not an honest organization looking to better human lives,” Wright said. “Gatherings of global leaders and businesses should be about humans… not on the desire to scare children and grow government power. They’ve lost the plot.”

White House Assistant Press Secretary Taylor Rogers reinforced the point: “President Trump will not jeopardize our country’s economic and national security to pursue vague climate goals that are killing other countries.”

This obsession with Trump reveals the real game—using climate fear to expand control, sideline American interests, and prop up failing regimes. As the U.S. focuses on real energy independence, the summit’s theatrics only confirm what many suspect: it’s less about the environment and more about reshaping the world order under a green facade.

The Evil of Green Politics | The Log College

written by Toby Kurth | October 15, 2025; AMERICAN REFORMER

Tyranny Through Energy Utopianism

In 2022, as Russian tanks rolled into Ukraine, European nations confronted a bitter truth: their utopian energy policies had funded Putin’s war machine. This moment revealed what careful observers have long suspected. Modern environmentalism, divorced from theological anthropology and concern for true human flourishing, has become a destructive force wreaking havoc across the globe.

The green movement’s policies, however well-intentioned their advocates claim them to be, have produced a catalog of human suffering that demands moral reckoning. From child slaves in Congolese mines to refugees fleeing resource wars, from impoverished families choosing between heat and food to entire nations held hostage by energy dependence, the fruits of environmental ideology reveal its fundamental rejection of human dignity.

Europe’s green energy transition handed Vladimir Putin the economic weapon he needed to wage war. By 2021, the EU imported 45% of its natural gas from Russia, with Germany exceeding 55% dependency. This arrangement funneled approximately $100 billion annually into Moscow’s coffers, blood money that funded the invasion of Ukraine and the slaughter of thousands.

Germany’s particular zealotry represents moral confusion of the highest order. The nation closed perfectly functional nuclear plants while burning Russian gas. Even after Russian bombs began falling on Ukrainian cities, Germany shuttered its last three nuclear plants in 2023. France, which maintained its nuclear fleet despite green pressure, stood far more capable of resisting energy blackmail. The lesson is unmistakable. Environmental ideology that ignores fallen human nature and geopolitical reality becomes an accessory to tyranny.

Child Slavery and Resource Wars

The electric vehicle revolution runs on the broken bodies of Congolese children. According to UNICEF, approximately 40,000 children labor in DRC’s cobalt mines, some as young as six years old. These children, earning $1-2 per day, breathe toxic cobalt dust that destroys their lungs while extracting minerals for electric vehicle batteries and smartphone components.

Amnesty International has traced cobalt from mines using child labor directly to major Western brands. Yet demand only intensifies. Global cobalt consumption nearly doubled from 100,000 tons in 2016 to 190,000 tons in 2023. Every subsidized EV purchase in Berkeley or Boulder connects directly to a child’s suffering in parts of the world no one seems to care about.

The “Responsible Cobalt Initiative” and similar corporate fig leaves have achieved little beyond providing public relations cover. The green movement, which claims to protect future generations, literally enslaves present ones. This represents not merely policy failure but profound moral blindness. Impoverished children are treated as acceptable casualties in the march toward net zero.

Eastern Congo burns for Western batteries. The M23 rebel group and other armed factions, financed by illegal mining of “transition minerals,” have displaced over 1.7 million people since 2021. The UN documents 6.9 million internally displaced persons across the DRC, many fleeing violence directly linked to mineral extraction for green technologies. Refugee camps around Goma overflow with families devastated by this resource scramble. Cholera spreads through overcrowded settlements. Sexual violence runs rampant. Nearly 3 million children face severe malnutrition. Armed groups funded by coltan and cobalt smuggling perpetuate cycles of violence that make normal life impossible.

Global Witness reports detail how the intensified demand for these minerals perpetuates conflict financing despite international regulations. The green transition’s appetite for resources has transformed entire regions into sacrifice zones, where human life holds less value than the minerals beneath their feet.

The Hypocrisy of Environmental Elites

Nothing exposes green politics’ moral bankruptcy quite like its brazen hypocrisy. California Governor Gavin Newsom lectures the nation about climate emergency yet gutted his state’s rooftop solar industry in 2022 to protect utility company revenues. The California Public Utilities Commission’s “solar tax” destroyed 17,000 jobs and slashed installations by 80%, all while Newsom preached about renewable energy leadership.

This pattern repeats everywhere. Norway expands oil production while lecturing Africa about emissions. John Kerry flies private jets to climate conferences. The EU implements carbon border taxes that cost African nations $25 billion annually while subsidizing its own industries. Wealthy nations demand that Mozambique leave transformative natural gas reserves untapped while they continue their own extraction.

The message is clear. Environmental sacrifice is for the poor. Rich nations and their leaders exempt themselves from the suffering they impose on others, revealing that their true god is not the environment but power itself. None of this is okay, and all of it goes unexamined by mainstream media.

Green policies consistently punish those least able to bear the cost. The biofuel mandate’s diversion of 40% of U.S. corn to ethanol contributed to food price spikes that pushed 100 million people globally into poverty, according to the World Bank. Texas’s 2021 blackouts, partly caused by overreliance on weather-dependent renewables, likely resulted in the death of 246 people. The victims were predominantly poor and elderly residents who could not escape the cold. These are not unfortunate side effects but predictable consequences of policies that prioritize abstract environmental goals over human needs. When ideology trumps compassion, the vulnerable always suffer most.

Theological Anthropology and True Environmental Stewardship

The root error of green politics lies in its fundamentally flawed anthropology. By viewing humans primarily as polluters or an invasive species rather than rulers of creation, who image God, and are charged with enjoying, cultivating, and commanding creation (Gen. 1:28), environmental ideology justifies seemingly unlimited harm in the service of “saving the planet” from humans themselves. Predictably, this disordered philosophy produces destructive results. Our nation needs better and more intelligent solutions.

Authentic environmental stewardship needs to flow from a proper theological anthropology. We must understand humans as both fallen and dignified, both stewards and beneficiaries of creation. This perspective recognizes that human flourishing and environmental health are not opposing goals but complementary aspects of God’s created order.

Responsible and effective environmental policy must:

  • Acknowledge human dignity as non-negotiable, rejecting any calculus that treats people as expendable or inferior to natural resources.
  • Recognize human sinfulness, including the corruption that pervades environmental movements themselves.
  • Prioritize the poor and vulnerable, who bear the heaviest burdens of both environmental degradation and environmental policy.
  • Embrace technological progress guided by wisdom rather than ideology.
  • Respect national sovereignty and the right to pursue development in the underdeveloped world.
  • Demand consistency from leaders who claim environmental urgency.
  • Value proven solutions like nuclear power over utopian experiments.

The Path Forward

Environmental challenges require a serious response, but not through policies that spread destruction while enriching elites. We need environmental realism grounded in theological truth about human nature and destiny. This means rejecting the false choice between economic development and environmental protection. It means holding environmental leaders accountable for the human cost of their policies. It means prioritizing human flourishing as the measure of policy success, not arbitrary emission targets or virtue signals.

Most importantly, it means recognizing that policies that destroy human lives and dignity cannot be called “green” or “sustainable” regardless of their environmental promises. The trail of suffering left by environmental ideology testifies to its moral bankruptcy. From Ukrainian graves to Congolese mines to California unemployment lines, the evidence condemns these policies.

The time has come to reject environmental policies that treat human beings as the problem rather than as bearers of the divine image tasked with wise stewardship. Only by grounding environmental action in proper theological anthropology can we pursue genuine sustainability that serves both creation and humanity.

U.S. Farmers Are Facing The Worst Economic Downturn In At Least 50 Years | The Economic Collapse

The agriculture industry in the United States is deeply broken. Farmers are the foundation of it all, but they are being financially squeezed from every direction. They are being squeezed by the giant monopolies that control the seeds, fertilizer and machinery that they need. And they are also being squeezed by the giant monopolies that purchase most of what they produce. Meanwhile, demand from overseas has dried up thanks to the global trade war. U.S. farmers really are facing a “perfect storm”, and as a result most farms are losing money and bankruptcies are surging.

Most Americans have absolutely no idea how bad it has gotten.

According to the president of the Nebraska Farmers Union, this is the worst economic downturn for farmers in at least 50 years

“We’re in the middle of the worst economic downturn that I’ve seen in my 50 years,” John Hansen, the president of the Nebraska Farmers Union, said at a regional meeting in Beatrice, Nebraska, last week.

“Agriculture is our foundation here in Nebraska and many states in the Midwest,” Don Schuller, a corn and soybean farmer, told ABC News. “If agriculture is failing here everything is going to fail.”

I wish that I could tell you that he is exaggerating.

But I can’t.

A sobering article that was recently published by AGWEB that was just shared with me is warning that our farmers are facing a “generational collapse”…

Farmers are not crying wolf. The wolf is real and right outside the door in the form of generational collapse.

The inescapable crop math of sustained crippling commodity prices and high input costs has many growers screaming for immediate relief, potentially via aid payments in late 2025 or early 2026. However, bailouts are Band-Aids over bullet holes.

The giant monopolies that provide the things that our farmers need increase their profits by squeezing farmers, and the giant monopolies that purchase what our farmers produce increase their profits by squeezing farmers.

For a while, many farms could still at least break even, but now conditions have gotten so bad that many farmers are losing hundreds of dollars per acre

Yes, says Bailey Buffalo, 40, owner of Buffalo Grain Systems in Jonesboro, and president of Farm Protection Alliance.

“Horror stories. The pain is unreal. Worst farming situation I’ve seen in my life,” Buffalo says. “Look at Extension [University of Arkansas] numbers — corn growers losing $240 per acre; soybeans losing $144 per acre; and rice losing $380 per acre. The cotton growers may be worst of all.”

This is what I mean when I say that the agriculture industry is broken.

So what is going to happen as vast numbers of our farmers simply go bankrupt?

According to the chairman of the Arkansas Rice Growers Association, banks are projecting “farm bankruptcies at 25% to 40%”

Graves, chairman of the Arkansas Rice Growers Association, understands severe hardship. He farmed through the anemic ag crisis of the 1980s. However, the current unrest is a “coming disaster” unlike anything he’s witnessed across a 50-year career: “I’ve never seen this kinda look in farmers’ eyes. It’s fear. And it’s based in undeniable facts.”

In August 2025, Graves sent an open letter to media and politicians, pleading for attention to eye-popping numbers. “My letter told what things are like right now. In our geography, it looks like you need to yield 100-300-300 to stay ahead,” Graves describes. “That’s 100-bushel beans, 300-bushel rice and 300-bushel corn. Basic Arkansas averages are 56-bushel beans, 166-bushel rice and 175-bushel corn. In a nutshell, we are going over a cliff. Banks are forecasting farm bankruptcies at 25% to 40%, and the dirty secret is out. Everyone knows it; everyone feels it.

A handful of companies control the seed market, a handful of companies control the fertilizer market, and a handful of companies control the farm machinery market.

Those giant monopolies are raking in huge amounts of cash while our small farmers are being ruthlessly crushed.

And when it comes time to sell what they produce, our farmers are at the mercy of the giant food monopolies.

On top of everything else, export demand has evaporated as a result of the global trade war.  Things are particularly bad for soybean farmers

For American farmers who export their harvests directly to Asia, the evaporation of Chinese demand for soybeans — at a time when fertilizer and other inputs have become more expensive — could potentially be devastating, and lead to bankruptcies and foreclosures.

“It’s just a massive shock to our markets,” Cory Walters, a professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at the University of Nebraska, told ABC News.

We have seen agriculture shocks before, but never anything quite like this.

The White House is acknowledging that our farmers are facing a major crisis, and there are plans to introduce an aid package

“Soybean, corn, wheat, sorghum, cotton farmers are facing very difficult times,” Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins told reporters at the White House on Wednesday. “We are currently in conversations here at the White House, across the government, on a farmer aid package.”

Will that fix anything?

Not really.

The structural issues will still exist, but perhaps if the aid checks are big enough they will help some farmers avoid bankruptcy for another year.

What we really need is to do something about the monopolies so that our farmers can have a chance to scrape out a living.

But that isn’t going to happen, because the monopolies have lots of lobbyists and they contribute vast amounts of money to political campaigns.

Of course it isn’t just the agriculture industry that is facing a crisis.

All over the country, we are witnessing signs of a major economic slowdown.  For example, this year Hollywood “has seen tourism numbers fall off a cliff”

Los Angeles’s iconic Hollywood district has seen tourism numbers fall off a cliff, sparking fears for the future of the beleaguered City of Angels.

Visit California revealed tourist numbers slumped by 10 percent this summer, compared to the same period of 2024.

And businesses on Hollywood boulevard said customer numbers had plunged by up to 50 percent, raising the prospect of the neighborhood that is a byword for movies and showbusiness entering into a terminal decline.

A dramatic economic shift is taking place right now.

I expect this to be clearly reflected in the economic numbers in the coming months.

But this is just the beginning.  The pain that we are experiencing now will get a whole lot worse.

At the beginning of this article, I stated that the agriculture industry is deeply broken.

Nobody can deny that.

But the truth is that our entire society is deeply broken, and now a time of reckoning has arrived.

Devastating US Report Lays Bare The Abuses Of ‘Settled’ Climate Science And Its Role In Net Zero | ZeroHedge

Authored by Chris Morrison via DailyScheptic.org,

Net Zero is dead in the United States and the last rites have been administered in the devastating official report from the Department of Energy. Released earlier this week, the report cancels the decades-long censorship imposed by so-called ‘settled’ climate science. It is compiled by five eminent scientists and is a systematic take-down of the claims, methodologies and motivations driving activist scientists, politicians and opinion formers promoting the hard-Left Net Zero fantasy. Despite its ground-breaking importance, to date it has been largely ignored by mainstream media including the BBC and Guardian.

Computer models are said to offer “little guidance” on how much of the climate responds to higher levels of carbon dioxide, most extreme weather events are not increasing, sea levels in North America show no increasing trend while weather attribution claims are challenged by natural climate variation along with an admission that they were originally designed with ‘lawfare’ in mind. For Anthony Watts, who has spent decades challenging the ‘settled’ politicised science, the most important consideration is that the report, “directly confronts the exaggerated and politicised rhetoric that has dominated headlines for decades”.

Watts, who runs the Watts Up With That? (WUWT?) site that was responsible for publicising the infamous Climategate scandal, argues that the new report is unique in that it has both official status and author independence. It is not a think tank paper or an article in a ‘dissenting’ journal.

“It’s rare to see scientists of this calibre (with backgrounds at NASA, IPCC and major universities) allowed to directly challenge prevailing policy narratives with government resources behind them”, he notes.

The work is a “comprehensive critique” quoting extensively from peer-reviewed literature with clear explanations of scientific uncertainties and climate model error.

For regular readers of WUWT? and other inquiring publications such as the Daily Sceptic, many of the issues discussed in the report will be familiar. In the last four years, your correspondent has written nearly 500 articles on climate science and Net Zero in an attempt to fill in the significant reporting gaps left by the narrative-driven mainstream media. Many of the papers quoted are familiar, not least in the section that deals with the sensational ‘greening’ of the planet caused by higher levels of CO2.

The report quotes from recent work that shows extensive plant and crop growth due to the atmospheric fertilisation that has enhanced photosynthesis and improved water use efficiency. Over the past 60+ years, the authors observe that there have been thousands of studies on the response of plants to rising CO2 levels, and the overwhelming theme is that they benefit from the extra gas. In 2016, Zhu et al detected greening over 25%–50% of the planet. But there is a near official news blackout on the subject. A few mentions can be found in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reports but overall, observe the authors, “the Policymakers Summaries, Technical Summaries and [IPCC] Synthesis reports of AR5 and ASR6 do not discuss the topic”.

Needless to say there are few kind words for the climate projections based on the notorious IPCC emission scenario known as RCP8.5. Most academic climate impact studies in recent years are based on this extreme scenario, “that is now considered implausible”. Why is this castigation important – because RCP8.5 litters the scientific clickbait literature and has a key role in promoting the Net Zero plan. Most stories in mainstream media debunked in recent years by the Daily Sceptic and others – from the future collapsing Gulf Stream to the disappearing coral – are based on this trash “business-as-usual” computer model pathway.

Climate models are noted to be the primary tool used to project future climate changes in response to higher levels of anthropogenic greenhouse gases. It might be added that their outputs are the basis of 40 years of fear mongering designed to drive Net Zero and the destruction of the hydrocarbon industrial economy.

“Of great concern”, continue the authors, “is the fact that after several decades of the climate modelling enterprise involving approximately three dozen models operated by research centres around the world, the range of future warming they produce in response to a hypothetical doubling of CO2 extends over a factor of three”.

This range of disagreement among models has not decreased for decades, they add.

Those inclined to use less charitable language might comment that climate models are useless for the purpose of providing genuine science upon which reasonable public policy can be determined – and always have been.

Much of the recent climate fear mongering surrounds ‘extreme’ weather events and the suggestion that something Nature has always thrown at life on Earth can now be directly attributed to the actions of humans. The most prominent in this field is the Green Blob-funded World Weather Attribution (WWA) run out of Imperial College in London and headed by BBC favourite, Dr Friederike Otto. “WWA’s extensive promotion of non-peer-reviewed findings, its open admission to shaping analyses to serve litigation, and its methodological challenges have sparked controversy”, it is noted.

The biggest problem (apart from using computer models) is the lack of past data on extreme weather events. A few years of data allied to an unproven conviction that all current warming is caused by humans, cannot provide guidance for events that crop up as outliers.

If paleoclimate reconstruction are considered, “it becomes very difficult for an event to pass thresholds of what is expected from natural variability”, it is concluded.

Fewer Than 400 EV Charging Ports Built Despite $7.5 Billion Biden Funding: Watchdog | ZeroHedge

Authored by Naveen Athrappully via The Epoch Times,

Less than 400 additional electric vehicle (EV) public charging ports have been installed in the United States following billions of dollars of allocated funding under the Biden administration for building charging infrastructure, said a July 22 report from the Government Accountability Office (GAO).

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) of 2021, signed into law by then-President Joe Biden, appropriated $7.5 billion in funding for two programs—the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program (NEVI) and the Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Discretionary Grant Program (CFI). The funds were aimed at supporting the development of public EV charging infrastructure.

However, only 384 charging ports had been built nationwide under the NEVI and CFI programs as of April 2025, the report said.

The Trump administration suspended committing funds for NEVI in February.

GAO said the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), which administers the two programs, has lagged in setting clear performance targets for NEVI and CFI.

The report noted that Congress had “expressed concern over the pace” at which charging ports had been built under the programs.

During a June 2024 Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works hearing, Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) criticized the slow deployment of EV charging ports.

“That is pathetic. We’re now three years into this. That is a vast administrative failure,” he said. “Something is terribly wrong, and it needs to be fixed.”

The Biden administration had planned to set up 500,000 charging ports by 2030, according to former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

As of May 2025, there were roughly 219,000 publicly available individual charging ports at 77,000 EV charging stations across the United States, the GAO report said.

Only 56,000 of these units are DC fast chargers that allow EV owners to quickly charge their vehicles. The majority, 162,000 units, are Level 2 ports that take much longer to charge, the report said.

For instance, one hour of charging with a Level 2 port only delivers 25 miles of driving range, far lower than the 100 to 200 or more miles delivered by a DC charger, GAO said.

Moreover, there are large cost differences between the two options.

“Level 2 chargers may cost about $900 to $3,000 per charging port to purchase, and between about $700 and $4,000 per charging port to install,” the report said.

In contrast, “the fastest DC fast charger can cost over $140,000 per charging port to purchase, and more than $39,000 per charging port to install, when between three and five charging ports are installed,” according to the report.

GAO highlighted that federal support for EV charging infrastructure may be affected due to the Trump administration’s policies.

On Jan. 20, the first day of his second term in office, President Donald Trump signed an executive order titled “Unleashing American Energy.”

In the order, Trump instructed all agencies to “immediately pause the disbursement of funds” appropriated via the IIJA or the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, including funding for EV charging stations made available through the NEVI and CFI programs.

In February, FHWA said in a letter sent to the directors of state departments of transportation that it was suspending commitment of funds under the NEVI program.

At the time, the agency said the decision was taken to align with current policies of the Department of Transportation (DOT), including a Jan. 29 DOT order that policymaking be based on “sound economic principles and analysis supported by rigorous cost-benefit requirements and data-driven decisions.”

According to the GAO report, FHWA officials told them in March that due to Trump’s executive order and related agency actions, “most of FHWA’s NEVI and CFI activities were under review while it, and other relevant agencies, determine whether these efforts align with the administration’s policies and priorities.”

“Officials did not provide a time frame of their review process. As of May 2025, these reviews were ongoing and their outcomes unknown,” the GAO report added.

Meanwhile, new EV sales dipped by 3.5 percent in June year over year, according to a July 18 statement from auto industry service company Cox Automotive. The outlook for the fourth quarter is “far less certain” due to the elimination of government-backed incentives and tariff issues, it said.

Doubling Alberta’s natural gas production could slash global CO2 emissions

If someone told you they were desperate for work, but refused to apply for any jobs, you’d understand they shouldn’t be taken seriously. As Jesus tells us, we can judge a tree by its fruit (Matt. 7:15-20).

So, when climate catastrophists steer us away from fossil fuels and nuclear energy too, that’s some fruit. Solar and wind might be their ideal, but these are more expensive than fossil fuels, and higher energy costs would hurt billions. Nuclear does have considerable downsides, but it is the only CO2-free energy source that could produce the energy we need at the prices we’d need to fill the gap that banning fossil fuels would create. So, to not have it as an option is to mark these “environmentalists” – their fruit shows them to be either uncaring or naive.

Now Alberta is offering the country another option – natural gas. It’s still a CO2 emitter but an improvement on coal and other CO2 sources. This option could effectively scrub all of Canada’s CO2 emissions. Great news, right? Well, we’ll see if the federal government thinks so. Their response will provide us with some more fruit we can assess.

“Maple-washing” misleads the public

Ontario shows why euthanasia “safeguards” can’t work

“Ontario’s euthanasia regulators have tracked 428 cases of possible criminal violations — and not referred a single case to law enforcement, say leaked documents.”

Murder is the unlawful and euthanasia the lawful taking of a human life. So what would it be then, if someone committed euthanasia unlawfully? Well, isn’t an unlawful taking of a life murder?

But how many doctors do you think would be willing to do a procedure that, if they ever didn’t do it quite right, would send them to jail for murder? Not many, right? That kind of chill might put an end to euthanasia altogether. And that’s what pursuing these 428 cases could do for any doctors considering killing as their living – put a chill on that  So, for euthanasia to be both legal and available, the government is motivated to overlook any irregularities.

Jeff Durbin: A bro in a skirt doesn’t care about biology (or logic)

God’s people too often seem intent on logic-ing our culture into the Kingdom. We address sins like abortion and transgenderism with arguments that are common sense but not specifically Christian – we channel Ben Shapiro and Pierre Poilievre but we don’t talk about God.

And how’s that working out?

We’ve misunderstood the fight we’re in. This isn’t a debate that we’ll win on points. What we’re contending with is a rebellious world that needs to be called to repentance by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We profess that God’s Word is “like fire…and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces” (Jer. 23:26), it is “alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword” (Heb. 4:12), and “it will not return to Me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it” (Is. 55:10-11). What might God work through us, if we were willing to stand with Him instead of just with logic?

“Climate Anxiety”: The Manufactured Hysteria Spreading Across America’s Urban Centers and College Campuses | Natural News

A new term called “climate anxiety” has been invented, depicting the hysteria that now plagues a young generation, who have been subconsciously brainwashed to believe that the world is ending because of climate change. A Yale study surveyed individuals across the US.

Key points from the survey:

    • 63.3% of U.S. adults are worried about global warming, according to a Yale study.

    • Climate anxiety is concentrated in large metropolitan areas and coastal communities.

    • The study highlights the role of politics, education, and media in shaping climate attitudes.

    • Critics argue that climate change hysteria is being used to push a political agenda and control the narrative on energy resource allocation, government subsidies, and for enacting geoengineering projects.

Politicizing the weather has left a generation in fear and anxiety

In a nation where the political climate is as polarized as the weather, a recent Yale study has revealed a troubling trend: 63.3% of U.S. adults are “somewhat” or “very” worried about global warming. This anxiety is not evenly distributed; it is concentrated in large metropolitan areas and coastal communities, painting a stark picture of how attitudes toward climate change vary across the country. The study, based on statistical modeling using data from nationally representative Ipsos surveys, underscores the extent to which climate change has become a central issue in the lives of many Americans, particularly those living in urban and coastal regions.

The findings are hilariously concerning, but not surprising to those who have been following the relentless push for climate change propaganda in the media, education, and politics. Climate anxiety, as it is now called, has become a pervasive force, particularly in big U.S. metros and coastal communities. For instance, in Queens, New York, a staggering 79.8% of adults are worried about global warming. These areas are often more vulnerable to climate-driven threats like flooding, but the study also reveals that individual attitudes are influenced by a complex mix of factors, including politics, education, and media exposure.

The psychology of climate anxiety

Jennifer Marlon, executive director of the Yale Center for Geospatial Solutions and senior research scientist at the Yale School of the Environment, notes that while the map of climate concern may appear uniformly purple, “it’s crucial to remind people that the vast majority of the population exists in some of these green places.” This observation highlights the disconnect between the perceived reality of climate change and the actual lived experiences of many Americans.

The psychological impact of climate anxiety cannot be overstated. Young people, in particular, are being bombarded with apocalyptic narratives that suggest the world is on the brink of collapse. This has led to a generation of individuals who are not only anxious about their future but are also being mobilized into political action based on a sense of impending doom. The Yale study reveals that this anxiety is not just a product of local environmental risks but is heavily influenced by the media and political discourse.

The role of climate propaganda in media and education

The media has played a significant role in shaping public perception of climate change. Mainstream news outlets often present climate change as an existential threat, with headlines that are designed to elicit fear and urgency. This has created a feedback loop where the more people are exposed to these narratives, the more anxious they become, and the more they demand action from their government.

Education has also been a battleground for climate change propaganda. Schools across the country are incorporating climate change into their curricula, often with a one-sided perspective that fails to present a balanced view of the science. This has led to a generation of young people who are not only anxious but are also being primed to support policies that may have significant economic and social consequences.

The political agenda behind climate hysteria

Critics argue that the climate anxiety being experienced by many Americans is not a natural response to environmental changes but is, in fact, a calculated effort to push a political agenda. The push for big government solutions, such as higher taxes, unaffordable energy, and geoengineering projects, is often presented as the only way to combat climate change. However, these “solutions” are often more about control and power than they are about genuine environmental stewardship.

The Yale study, while providing valuable insights into the distribution of climate concern, also raises questions about the broader implications of this anxiety. If 63.3% of U.S. adults are worried about global warming, what does this mean for the future of American politics and society? Is this anxiety being used to justify policies that may do more harm than good?

As the debate over climate change continues to heat up, it is crucial for Americans to seek out alternative perspectives from cool and collected people, and to question the narratives being presented by the mainstream media and political establishment. The Yale study serves as a reminder that climate anxiety is not just a product of environmental factors but is also shaped by a complex interplay of politics, education, and media. The solution to this manufactured hysteria may not lie in more government intervention but in empowering individuals with accurate information and a balanced view of the science.

‘Climate Change’: Grift of the Century? Part I | Gatestone Institute :: Articles

  • Perhaps the climate hoax is actually not about saving the environment? What is it, then?
  • Some environmental problems of pollution are clearly caused by man; the effect of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), as in certain hairsprays for instance, on the ozone layer over the Antarctica. CFCs thin, or make a “hole,” in the planet’s ozone layer that protects the people from harmful ultraviolet rays. There is also the very real man-made problem of insoluble trash in the oceans. Generally, however, the problems of pollution are separate from those of climate change. Whatever can reasonably be done to curb man-made pollution should, of course, be advanced, but sometimes climate change and pollution overlap – seen by many, apparently, as an invitation to muddle and conflate them.
  • Climate change is largely caused by solar flares. So far, at least, there is not a blessed thing anyone can do about them. Many industries offer grants for papers that support the efficacy of their products that relate to climate change. Solar flares, regrettably, do not offer grants.
  • [Former Special Presidential Envoy for Climate] Kerry and his family flew on 48 trips and emitted more than 300 metric tons of carbon dioxide in just the 18 months between January 2021 and July 2022. Private jets “are 10 times more carbon intensive than airliners on average, and 50 times more polluting than trains,” according to a 2021 report. Kerry justified his polluting by declaring, unfortunately without a trace of irony, that private jets were the “only choice for somebody like me.”
  • The answer was supplied as early as 2015 by Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of the UN’s Framework Convention on Climate Change: “This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution.”
  • That would mean the destruction of capitalism and the world economy, however long that takes.
  • When the global elites arrived in Davos, Switzerland, in 2023 to discuss the urgent need to declare climate emergencies, they did so using more than 150 private jets.
  • Any journalists or commentators who dare to question or oppose the climate change orthodoxy are immediately shunned as “climate deniers” and met in the legacy media with an instant end to their careers.
  • “What is, in my view, even more dangerous, is the quasi-scientific form that their many times refuted forecasts have taken upon themselves.” — Former Czech President Vaclav Klaus, The New American, December 22, 2009.
  • Klaus stressed that environmentalism disguises itself as science. Under this disguise, it attempts to force its precepts on humanity. When it comes to global warming or climate change, that process is made easier: the topic is scientifically complex, which makes it hard for most people to refute the climate scammers.
  • “For the last 16 years, temperatures have been going down and the carbon dioxide has been going up and the crops have got greener and grow quicker. We’ve done plenty to smash up the planet, but there’s been no global warming caused by man…. I still say it’s poppycock! If you believe it, fine. But I don’t and there’s thousands like me.” — David Bellamy, English botanist and former BBC broadcaster, The Daily Mail, January 22, 2013.
  • It is no wonder that the climate change scam won the day. Few people have been willing to risk their livelihoods to fight against the manipulation.
  • Meanwhile, at the latest UN Climate Conference, COP29, which took place in Baku, Azerbaijan in November 2024, the agenda to destroy the world’s economy and the West by forcing wealth redistribution made new strides…. [Developing countries] apparently demanded $1.3 trillion annually. In the words of energy expert Alex Epstein: “The basic idea here is what they call ‘climate reparations,’ which is the idea that the US and others have ruined the world with fossil fuels, and so we have to pay a trillion dollars a year to make up for it, which, by the way, if the US paid that, that’s $7,700 per household per year.”
  • Notably, China retained its status as a “developing country” at the COP29, thereby exposing the enormous extent of the climate hoax. According to the International Energy Agency, “China’s total CO2 emissions exceeded those of the advanced economies combined in 2020, and in 2023 were 15% higher.” In addition, while China continues to build more coal-fired power plants than the rest of the entire world combined, the West continues on the path of deindustrialization in the name of the climate.
  • Thankfully, President Donald Trump, once again, has withdrawn the US from the 2015 Paris Agreement on climate change. As the past has shown, however, such a withdrawal holds no future guarantees. Trump also withdrew the US from the Paris Agreement during his first term, but President Joe Biden then brought the US back the first chance he got. For this reason, it is crucial that the current US administration do all it can to publish the truth about the climate scam and work towards ending it across the board.

Global Famine Is Literally Inevitable As 77.6% Of The Earth Becomes More Arid And The Ground Beneath Our Feet Becomes More Unstable | End Of The American Dream

Did you know that more than three-quarters of the land on the surface of our planet has been steadily getting drier?  All over the world, forests are being ripped out, greenery is disappearing and once vibrant soil is being degraded.  Meanwhile, governments are monkeying around with the weather and conducting all sorts of secretive geoengineering experiments.  As a result, we now have an unprecedented crisis on our hands.  Approximately half of the population of Africa now lives on drylands, and that continent is being plagued by endless famines right now.  Unfortunately, much of the rest of the world is headed in the exact same direction.  In particular, Europe, Brazil and the western half of the United States are drying out at a very alarming rate.  If current trends continue, global famine is literally inevitable.

According to a report that was released by the UN Convention to Combat Desertification, 77.6 percent of the land on the surface of our planet is drier now than it was 30 years ago

77.6% of Earth’s land has become drier in the last three decades compared to the 30 years prior, with drylands expanding by an area larger than India to cover 40.6% of the land on Earth, except for Antarctica.

And the findings, released in a new report by the UN Convention to Combat Desertification ((UNCCD), warn that if the trend continues, up to five billion people could live in drylands by the century’s end — causing soils to deplete, water resources to dwindle, and vital ecosystems to collapse.

Needless to say, when land dries out it can have a whole host of absolutely disastrous consequences

Indeed it is. According to the UNCCD, the transformation over the three studied decades is leading to loss of GDP, forced migration, increased mortality due to dust storms, worsening of wildfires, land erosion, vegetation degradation, salinization of water and soil, and more.

They are telling us that 5 billion people will be living on drylands by the end of this century.

But there is no way that we will ever get to that point.

Just look at what is happening in Africa.  It is the driest continent by a wide margin, and people are constantly dropping dead from starvation even though Africa is receiving mountains of food assistance from the rest of the world.

So what is going to happen when most of the world is as dry as Africa is right now?

The truth is that we are entering a time when we simply are not going to be able to feed everyone and a lot of people are going to die.

I honestly do not know what Europe is going to do during the years ahead.  At this point, 95.9 percent of that continent is steadily drying…

Europe is feeling the current burn especially acutely, with a whopping 95.9% of the continent experiencing drying. Also hard hit are Brazil, parts of the western U.S., the Mediterranean region, central Africa, and eastern Asia. Water, of course, is neither created nor destroyed, merely relocated. As 77.6% of the planet has grown drier, 22.4% has grown wetter, especially in the central U.S., Angola’s Atlantic coast, and southeast Asia—regions that have seen increasingly powerful storms and flooding. But it is drying that is the dominant trend globally, and it’s coming at a steep price.

The Europeans like to brag that they are such wonderful “environmentalists”, but they have been ruthlessly ripping out their forests and grasslands.

Of course the exact same thing has been happening in Brazil

For example, in cocoa-producing regions like northeastern Brazil, deforestation to make room for agriculture disrupts local water cycles and exposes soils to degradation. Without vegetation to anchor it, topsoil – critical for plant growth – washes away during rainfall or is blown away by winds, taking with it vital nutrients.

These changes create a vicious cycle: Degraded soils also hold less water and lead to more runoff, reducing the land’s ability to recover.

Chopping down millions of trees is an incredibly foolish thing to do.

When you chop down millions of trees, the land dries out and you lose valuable topsoil.

Back during the Dust Bowl of the 1930s, our government actually planted 220 million trees in a desperate attempt to prevent topsoil from blowing away in the middle of the country.

A drought is just temporary, but unless something dramatic is done the aridity crisis that much of the world is facing will be permanent

“For the first time, the aridity crisis has been documented with scientific clarity, revealing an existential threat affecting billions around the globe,” Ibrahim Thiaw, the UNCCD executive secretary, said in a statement. “Droughts end. When an area’s climate becomes drier, however, the ability to return to previous conditions is lost. The drier climates now affecting vast lands across the globe will not return to how they were and this change is redefining life on Earth.”

Unfortunately, very few seem to be taking this threat seriously.

With each passing day, more trees are being chopped down and more grasslands are being eliminated.

So we continue our march toward disaster.

According to one expert, “billions face a future marked by hunger, displacement, and economic decline”…

“Without concerted efforts, billions face a future marked by hunger, displacement, and economic decline,” said Nicole Barger, chair of the UNCCD’s science-policy interface in a statement.

Of course even if we could completely solve the aridity crisis, we would still be facing global famine because of the loss of nutrients in our soil, the killing off of our pollinators, and the trillions of microplastic particles that are saturating the ground that we grow our food in.

Meanwhile, the Earth continues to become more unstable and scientists have discovered that the the inner core of our planet has actually been changing shape

Scientists who just months ago confirmed that Earth’s inner core recently reversed its spin have a new revelation about our planet’s deepest secrets — they identified changes to the inner core’s shape.

Earth’s innermost layer is a hot, solid ball of metal surrounded by a liquid metal outer core. For decades, planetary scientists suspected that the solid inner core deformed over time as it spun. Now, researchers have found the first evidence of changes taking place over the past 20 years in the shape of the inner core. Signs of the core’s deformation appeared in waves from earthquakes that were strong enough to reach Earth’s center.

The research team used that same earthquake data for a 2024 study to resolve a longstanding debate over the inner core’s rotation. They found that the inner core once spun faster than Earth itself. But beginning around 2010, the solid inner core’s spin slowed. It’s now revolving backward, relative to the rest of the planet.

Should we be concerned that the Earth’s core has slowed down dramatically and is now spinning backwards?

I don’t know.

But I do know that we have been witnessing lots of very unusual seismic activity.

For example, in recent days Santorini has been shaken by more than 6,000 earthquakes

Santorini, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Greece, could soon be swamped by volcanic eruptions and tsunamis. The island has been rattled by 6,400 minor and moderate earthquakes this week, sometimes only minutes between each quake.

Meanwhile, a very strange quake was just reported near Area 51 in Nevada

An earthquake has hit a secret military testing base near Las Vegas after a gigantic tremor sparked tsunami warnings in the Caribbean.

The United States Geological Survey said there was a 2.8 magnitude shake near the highly classified Area 51 base in Nevada. The agency revealed the quake’s epicenter was East of Amargosa Valley, around 50 miles from the United States Air Force facility, infamous for conspiracies concerning its connection with aliens and UFOs.

The very alarming changes that are happening to our planet have been a major theme of my work for many years.  Unfortunately, most of the population still has no idea what is taking place.

What we are witnessing is not even close to normal.

We really are living in apocalyptic times, and that won’t change no matter how hard some people try to ignore the facts.

Hohmann: United Nations Renews Push for Globalized Digital Marking System to Deal with ‘Emergencies’ | The Gateway Pundit

Regardless of who’s occupying the White House, the global beast system marches forward. Don’t be caught in the camp of ‘irrational exuberance’ or you will be deceived.

The United Nations is calling on governments around the world to fight climate change and other “emergencies” by mandating biometric digital ID systems, giving governments worldwide the ability to tag and track the masses in their every move.

Digital ID systems that have already been implemented in other countries are typically tied to the financial system, allowing the government to track one’s spending habits as well as their movement.

A biometric digital ID requires the recipient to upload a face scan, eye scan, palm scan or other unique identifier, which is then integrated into a central system and tracked by an app on the person’s phone. Eventually, the plan is to place this surveillance device “under the skin,” as the Israeli historian and World Economic Forum adviser Yuval Harari has repeatedly stated.

As reported by Slay News, unelected foreign bureaucrats who serve on the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) renewed the demand for digital IDs.

UNDP officials made the case for why digital identity is allegedly a key weapon in their anti-human climate agenda in an article titled: “Why legal identity is crucial to tackling the climate crisis.”

If governments assign digital identities to citizens, they explained in the article, authorities can track populations more easily in an “environmental disaster.”

The UNDP further argued that countries that roll out digital identity programs will have more data about their taxpayers that can then be used in an emergency.

We all know how governments use so-called emergencies to enact tyrannical and authoritarian policies they would otherwise never get away with. They do this by using the news media to whip up fear in the population, dividing the people against each other.

During Covid, more than a few states implemented 24-hour snitch-lines where residents could call and turn in their neighbors for not following the lockdown rules.

Governments should know the income and health status of every taxpayer, as well as their education level, the UN agency states in the document.

This would help authorities have a more “targeted response” to citizens during, for example, a weather disaster, according to the world body.

However, as noted by Slay News, a digital identity is not only for tracking taxpayer movements and backgrounds.

It can also be used to track how much energy taxpayers are consuming.

Once a government has this data, it can force citizens to change their energy-consumption habits.

The UNDP euphemistically refers to this state coercion in Orwellian fashion, calling it “inspiring behavior change.”

When’s the last time you were “inspired” to perform a certain action by the government, may I ask?

“Leveraging digital legal ID data to track energy consumption, inspire behavior change, and enhance sustainability measures can mitigate climate-related disasters,” the UNDP officials wrote.

That’s a nice way of saying we will force you out of your gasoline-powered vehicle, out of your house on an acre or more of land, and into a tiny apartment in the city, eating bugs and riding public transit.

The United Nations has long pushed for a global ID system that would digitally tag every human being on the planet. This is embedded within the global body’s 17 sustainable development goals associated with its Agenda 2030 document, adopted by some 190 nations, including the U.S., in September 2015.

On its website, the U.N. writes:

Sustainable Development Goal Target 16.9 (“legal identity for all, including birth registration, by 2030”) is key to advance the 2030 Agenda commitment to leave no one behind, and equally relevant is SDG 17.19 — support to statistical capacity-building in developing countries, monitored by the indicator “proportion of countries that have achieved 100 per cent birth registration and 80 per cent death registration”.

This is just another way of describing what is, in essence, a social-credit scoring system similar to what’s already in place in communist China.

If you drive too much, spend too much on the wrong products, such as meat or dairy, or if you’re guilty of wrongthink, you will see your social-credit score dip, meaning you will be banned from getting loans or the best housing, jobs, or educational opportunities.

This agenda will no doubt be brought up at the 2025 World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, Switzerland, later this month. President Trump has reportedly agreed to address the WEF remotely.

None of this agenda has any place in any country that claims to be free.

The 3 Disturbing Lies of Net Zero Renewable Energy | The Daily Declaration

renewable energy

As the Italian poet Dante pointed out many centuries ago, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

And when it comes to renewable energy and the push to net zero, the intention of many Australian politicians is good. Federal Labor Energy Minister Chris Bowen had this to say in a recent National Press Club address:

‘Renewable energy is incredibly cheap because its fuel is free, whether that is sunshine or wind. When the wind is blowing and the sun is shining, we have ample power flowing into the grid at zero marginal cost, which brings down the wholesale cost of power to zero and even delivers negative prices in parts of the day.’

But is that the case? Are we facing a clean, cheap, reliable energy future? Or is there more to renewable energy than free sunshine and wind?

According to journalist Chris Uhlmann in his new one-hour-long documentary “The Real Cost of Net Zero: The shocking truth of the renewable energy push“, renewable energy sounds good in theory, but the reality is vastly different. Think ‘grand-canyon-level’ difference between Labor’s promises of cheap energy and what we’ll experience when our nation switches to 80% renewable energy by 2030 (yes, that’s only six years away).

It was one of the most disturbing yet enlightening documentaries I’ve watched in a long, long time. And if you’re not left asking serious questions after watching this documentary, check your pulse.

Because he’s the thing we need to keep front and centre:

Cheap, reliable energy lifts people out of poverty. But expensive, unreliable energy will send them back.

Energy is life.

It’s like food, water, and shelter. Life can’t happen without it. And we in the modern world have taken this reality for granted. While our ancestors toiled, froze, boiled and went hungry (as do billions who don’t have access to cheap, reliable energy), we now cool and heat a house at the push of a button. We cook food by turning a dial. And we buy goods and services at massively reduced prices compared to what our ancestors paid.

All because of cheap, reliable energy.

But not having access to cheap, reliable energy is like not having access to affordable food, water and shelter. It holds societies back from developing, with the poor paying the biggest price.

And if, as Christians, we are concerned for the welfare of the poor, we’ll be concerned about policies that affect their wellbeing. Such as energy policies.

And this is Uhlmann’s point: large-scale renewable energy can’t deliver the energy we need to thrive. While I urge you to watch the documentary for yourself (it’s only an hour long), here are three  lies Uhlmann exposes about our renewable energy transition:

Lie #1 – Renewable energy is reliable

In recent weeks, New South Wales sweltered during a few hot days. And the NSW Premier asked NSW residents to limit their air conditioning for the sake of our energy grid.

That’s right: in one of the richest countries in the world, a country with abundant energy resources, during peacetime, the government asked people to ration their electricity use. That’s a failure of energy policy if ever there was one.

But according to Uhlmann, that is but a minor taste of what is coming our way with renewable energy. For the biggest lie behind the push for renewables is that renewable energy is reliable.

Uhlmann interviews various experts in the energy sector both here and overseas, and it becomes clear that renewable energy is, unsurprisingly, beholden to the weather and the earth’s rotation. At best, renewable energy will produce energy around 30% of the time (compared to 90+% for coal and nuclear). This might be fine if you’re only powering a hobby farm, but it’s problematic if you’re powering cities, hospitals, schools, businesses and homes.

So how will the government get around this problem?

By building energy storage. Hydroelectric dams and batteries will be used to store surplus energy and then use it when the sun doesn’t shine and the wind doesn’t blow.

But here’s the disturbing truth: the large-scale battery technology needed to store the required amounts of energy for the time required (days or possibly even a week) doesn’t yet exist.

And no other nation has yet gone to 80% renewable energy.

In other words, we’re embarking on a nationwide high-risk experiment with a commodity fundamental to life, namely energy.

And this is where we run into the second lie.

Lie #2 – Renewable energy is cheap

Chris Bowen’s assertion that renewable energy is cheap runs afoul of fundamental physics: to get renewable energy happening, you need to build massive amounts of wind and solar farms (causing vast amounts of environmental damage; see next point), along with the hundreds of thousands of kilometres of cables to take the energy from the remote wind and solar farms to the cities (again, with a substantial environmental footprint through pristine bush and farmland), and then mind-boggling amounts of battery and hydro storage.

Oh, and then there’s the running cost.

So, what are some ballpark figures?

The Centre of Independent Studies has summarised the costs based on CSIRO figures.

Taking just the cost of storage and transmission: hydro storage, transmission lines, and batteries together, they calculated an eye-watering total of $301.8 billion. That doesn’t include tens of thousands of hectares of solar panels and wind turbines (the part that generates the electricity).

Who’s going to pay for that? You, the consumer – through higher taxes and higher electricity bills.

With 1 in 4 households already struggling to pay their electricity bills, how will a bill increase – think of a 50% – 200% increase, along with the proportional increase in goods and services – impact people? Here are some possible consequences:

  • Your elderly parents will have to choose whether to turn their aircon on during the hot summer or their heating during the cold winter.
  • The single mom will have to decide which meal she (and even her children) skips.
  • The stay-at-home mum of the three-year-old and one-year-old will be forced to return to full-time work and put her two young children into full-time childcare, against everyone’s wishes.
  • And those at the bottom of the social-economic ladder will be forced onto the streets because they can no longer afford electricity or rent.

Lie #3 – Renewable energy is environmentally friendly

Another problem with renewables is the massive amounts of land needed for energy generation.

While coal and nuclear plants have a small, contained land footprint, solar and wind turbine projects will require tens of thousands of hectares of land to be cleared to generate the necessary amount of energy. This will threaten koala habitats, bushland and farmland, among other environmental concerns. How many native birds and bats will be slaughtered by the thousands of wind turbines that will blight our landscape?

And because turbines and solar panels have relatively short life spans (20-30 years), these must be disposed of. Currently, there is no way to recycle most of their parts, so tens of thousands of these will need to be buried… considering solar panels have highly toxic chemicals in them, this poses a risk to the water table below the land.

It’s also worth noting that most rare earth metals and solar panels needed for renewables come from China – not exactly a place with stellar environmental or workplace health and safety standards.

We need an adult conversation about energy and net zero

We live in a culture where renewable energy is unquestioned orthodoxy.

To merely raise questions about the rush toward renewables risks being branded a climate heretic/denier. But these reactions are informed more by emotion and fear (‘the planet will die if we don’t go to renewable energy’), rather than sober, calm, reasoned discussion.

And to put it bluntly, good policies arise from calm, rational discussion. We need a conversation about energy driven by facts and data, not fear and panic. If we as a nation are serious about net zero, then we should carefully explore all the options for our crucial energy future.

By way of example, we can have carbon-neutral, affordable, reliable energy. An energy source exists that doesn’t harm large swathes of the environment. It’s an energy source that doesn’t create economic distress or drive people into poverty. It’s an energy source we could have up and running by 2040 — a decade before our net zero deadline. It’s an energy source many nations already benefit from (no need to experiment on our nation!).

But it requires us to have an adult conversation, because it’s called nuclear energy. And Chris Uhlmann also explores this alternative in his documentary.

Jesus Recycles | Thoughts about God

And this is the will of Him who sent me that I should lose nothing of all that He has given me, but raise it up on the last day.”  John 6: 39 (NIV)

I took a picture of the recycling truck in our neighborhood a few days ago. “Transforming waste to resources,” reads the sign on the side. It reminds me so much of Jesus.

So often we see the experiences, mistakes and sins in our life as plain garbage. We want to leave it on the side of life’s road and see it disappear into forgetting. Jesus, however, wants to take our waste and is ready to transform it into resources for others who need to know that He meets us and loves us, even in our messiest moments.

In the hands of Jesus, our wasted experiences and the lessons we learn along the way can become a message. If only we would turn our hearts towards Him. As soon as we hold out our garbage to Him, He recycles it into resources and transforms us into His likeness.

Reflect:
Is there anything in your life you need to put out for Jesus to recycle?

Jesus, I love that You can transform even my smelliest garbage into something to serve another person’s heart. I place it all before You. Thank You for Divine recycling and transformation. With You, nothing is wasted.
