Millions Pour Into Iran Streets as Regime Nears Possible Tipping Point; Protesters Looking to Pahlavi | CBN

ap26009070267364.jpg

JERUSALEM, Israel – The protests in Iran, now in their thirteenth day, may have come to a tipping point. Millions are now pouring onto the streets. The spread of the protests gives some hope that the nearly fifty-year Islamist dictatorship may be headed for collapse.

From Isfahan to Tehran and all of Iran’s 31 provinces, millions of Iranians are calling for the overthrow of the regime and for death to the dictator.

President Trump posted on Truth Social that more than a million rallied in the streets of Iran’s second-largest city, forcing regime forces to leave.

In some cities. protesters are attacking police headquarters and the dreaded Basij, the shock troops used by the regime to quench the protests. So far, more than two thousand protesters have been arrested and dozens killed.

The U.S. State Department is publishing posts in Persian to the Iranian people with President Trump’s statement that if the regime kills protesters, the U.S. will intervene.

In an attempt to smother those protests, the mullahs are shutting down the Internet, and some reports are emerging of massacres by government forces during the blackout.

Despite the Internet shutdown, the momentum of the movement is escalating.

Exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi issued a call for action during two days this week.

He declared, “Starting precisely at 8 pm wherever you are, whether in the streets or even from your own homes, I call on you to begin chanting exactly at this time. Based on your response, I will announce the next calls to action.”

Many believe that Iranians are now looking to Pahlavi.

Global terrorism expert Amir Hamidi told CBN News, “They are chanting, ‘The final battle.’ This is more important because they are chanting, this is the final battle. Pahlavi will return because it’s a clear vision. They do have. They want the Islamic Republic overturned, and they want the Pahlavi regime back. Return to their own identity.”

Despite decades of tyranny, the gospel has flourished, according to Hormuz Shariat of Iran Alive Ministries.

He told CBN News’ Gary Lane, “Every year I see things in Iran that cannot get any worse. And then it does. Then spiritually, I say this cannot get any better. People in Iran are so open to the gospel. And then it gets better. If you look at the number of salvations, if you look at our curve of the number of people who have come to salvation, we start small. Ten, 25 years ago.”

He added, “But it’s growing exponentially. It’s amazing, the curve jumping, the number of people coming to Christ is growing exponentially and quickly.”

More Concerns about Ethnic Cleansing in Syria

Meanwhile, in Syria, there is widespread concern that jihadist forces are attacking more ethnic minorities.

Within the past few days, the Syrian Army has attacked Kurdish neighborhoods in the Syrian city of Aleppo.  U.S. Ambassador and Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack posted on X, “The United States is closely following developments in the Sahrafiyeh and Sheikh Maqoud neighborhoods of Aleppo with grave concern.”

Reportedly, a temporary ceasefire has been arranged, but Israeli Minister for Diaspora Affairs Amichai Chikli is accusing the Syrian Army of using the same tactics it has used against other minorities. He posted on X:  “After the Alawites and the Druze, al-Julani’s jihadists, backed by Turkish drones, are now carrying out ethnic cleansing against the Kurds in the city of Aleppo.

He added, “(Turkish President Recep) Erdogan is ISIS.”

CBN News talked to Pastor Nehad Hasan, who reported that Syrian forces have surrounded two Kurdish neighborhoods, and he’s concerned they may be overrun.  He claims Imams are encouraging the forces that if they kill Kurds, they will be rewarded in heaven.  He warns that the Kurds could suffer the same fate as the Druze, Alawites, and Christians have suffered since the rise of the al-Shaara regime.

Hasan cautions that these Syrian forces are the same jihadist forces who fought the Assad regime but have simply changed their uniforms.

On Facebook, Pastor Hasan appealed to the governments of the world to intervene:

He wrote, “The Kurdish people living in this neighborhood are suffering heavy blows from factions loyal to the Turkish army, which take their orders directly from Turkey. So far, neither the Syrian Minister of Information, nor the Minister of War, nor the Syrian Army Commander has come out to justify what they are doing. They have been ordered to remain silent. And today, we demand that your governments in the countries of the world—Germany, America, Canada, Europe, France, all countries—intervene to stop the massacres taking place in my neighborhood.”

Danny Burmawi, author of Islam, Israel and the West, A Former Muslim’s Analysis, tells CBN News, “What’s happening in Aleppo today is similar to what happened in Sweida before. And so with the Druze, so this is a group of people who (told) the Syrian government and the Syrian Army they are jihadis. They used to be jihadis, and they’re still jihadists. And they believe that they need to establish the rule of Allah – everywhere, and especially today in Syria.”

HUGE: The Iranian People Are Getting Stronger and Pushing Back Against the Iranian Regime | The Gateway Pundit

The Iranian people are pushing back on the Iranian regime’s thugs.

As we’ve reported over the past week, the Iranian people are standing up to the radical Islamic terrorists running their country.

This appears much different than in the past.

Lara Logan reminds us that people have stood up before, but were severely punished by the regime when they did so.

As brave as the Iranian people are, anyone familiar with the regime knows how often they have murdered their way out of popular protests & uprisings. May God bless & protect them. https://t.co/jy5VilwFmh

— Lara Logan (@laralogan) January 6, 2026

But this time it feels different, which is likely due to the words and actions of President Trump.  Only hours before the capture and arrest of Venezuelan terrorist leader Maduro, President Trump shared a message to the leadership of the terrorist Islamist regime in Iran.

He said that you better not shoot and kill protesters or the US “will come to their rescue”.  This was posted on Truth Social.

If Iran shoots and violently kills peaceful protesters, which is their custom, the United States of America will come to their rescue. We are locked and loaded and ready to go. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J.TRUMP

This took on new meaning in light of the events in Venezuela, only hours after President Trump shared the above message.

The whole country of Iran is standing up.  The crowd in Tehran two days ago was HUGE.

The US appears to be building up for action in Iran. This is similar to the buildup in Venezuela.

‼️U.S. Special Forces units are being repositioned across multiple locations in Europe, with movements increasing in both scale and coordination.

This does not appear to be a routine deployment or a scheduled exercise.

Within defense and intelligence circles, the activity is being closely watched, as such force posture changes usually signal preparation rather than presence.

Analysts suggest the focus is shifting toward the Middle East, with Iran increasingly mentioned as a potential flashpoint.

When elite forces move this deliberately, it is rarely without a strategic objective.
The situation is developing quietly, but the implications could be significant.

Here’s more on US actions in the Middle East.

BREAKING: ALL HELL COULD BREAK LOOSE

US CENTCOM’s top commander is in Bahrain, as unusual military activity builds across multiple regions.

Recent airspace disruptions in Greece and movements linked to Greece & Cyprus are being interpreted by OSINT watchers as possible efforts to mask US military repositioning.

Continuous flights of RQ-4 Global Hawk and P-8A Poseidon ISR aircraft point to heightened surveillance and pre-operation readiness across the Middle East.

Unconfirmed reports claim Netanyahu’s government has approved plans targeting Iran, with the next 72 hours described as critical.

⏱️ Adding to the tension, former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett posted a cryptic “tick tock” message, fueling speculation amid the rapidly evolving situation.

Signals are flashing, something big could be coming.

Ukraine’s key European allies on Tuesday signed security guarantees for ‍Ukraine, including the deployment of a multinational military force in the event of a peace deal with Russia. French President Emmanuel Macron said the agreement was a “significant step” that would dissuade further aggressions on Ukraine. Greenlandic politician criticizes Danish crisis meeting for excluding Greenland
Greenlandic politicians are critical of being excluded from a crisis meeting on Greenland’s relationship with the US. At the same time, they, together with Denmark, are demanding a prompt meeting with US Senator Marco Rubio. “The goal of the meeting is to discuss the important statements made by the United States about Greenland,” writes Vivian Motzfeldt, who is responsible for foreign affairs in the Greenlandic self-government, in a post on social media. There is extreme pressure on Greenland and the Kingdom right now. I understand the frustration with the press, the American position and the Danish government.

China bans military exports to Japan amid Taiwan tension
Chinese officials on Tuesday banned the exportation of some rare earth minerals and other goods that might have military use following comments regarding Taiwan by Japan’s prime minister. All dual-use items are prohibited from being exported to any entities that support Japanese military capabilities, China’s Ministry of Commerce said in its first policy announcement of 2026.

Bildt: It is likely that the US will intervene against Denmark
Sweden’s former foreign minister and prime minister, Carl Bildt, believes that the U.S. threat to Greenland should be taken very seriously. “It is now likely that we will see the U.S. use brute force against Denmark within the next six months,” he writes on X. He further writes in a piece for the think tank European Council on Foreign Relations that Europe needs, if nothing else figuratively, to load its weapons. “Europe must be prepared for a confrontation with Trump over Greenland.

Exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi on Iran’s ‘Day After’ and speaks of ‘biblical relationship’ with Israel
Given the way ISIS filled the power vacuum in Iraq once Sadam Hussain was gone, and the flood of questions about Venezuela following the removal of Morado, Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi of Iran is putting careful plans in place for when the Islamic Regime finally falls. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, he spoke about the possibility of Iran joining the Abraham Accords in the event of a successful overthrow of the regime. “I think Tehran will elevate it to the “Cyrus Accord” to make Iran part of that Abraham Accord group,” he said.

A little pro-Israel honesty at the United Nations
The recent actions of Ambassador Tammy Bruce stand out not only as straightforward but principled.
Bruce spoke out against the “double standards” targeting Israel at the Dec. 29 meeting of the U.N. Security Council in a way that was necessary and honest.

Exiled crown prince: Iranians, not the US, will oust regime; eyes ‘Cyrus Accord’ with Israel
Iran’s exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi says Iranians, not the United States, will bring down the Islamic Republic, rejecting speculation that Washington might attempt a military extraction of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei or engineer a handover of power, as US President Trump has done in Venezuela. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Pahlavi said the country’s protest movement has reached a point where, in his view, “the regime is collapsing”

Britain bans pro-Hamas New Jersey preacher
The United Kingdom has banned an American Muslim preacher from entering the country, citing his antisemitic, pro-Hamas comments, including his support for the Oct. 7, 2023, invasion of Israel. On Monday, British Home Secretary Shabana Mahmoud signed an order prohibiting Dr. Shadee Elmasry from entering the UK. The order revoked Elmasry’s travel authorization days before he was slated to visit Britain for a three-day fundraising tour on behalf of a Muslim charity, the Global Relief Trust (GRT).

IDF launches wave of airstrikes on Hezbollah, Hamas targets in Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces carried out a wave of airstrikes across southern Lebanon on Monday after issuing evacuation notices to residents of several villages, warning that it would soon target terrorist infrastructure in the area. In a statement, the IDF said it struck weapons depots and military facilities belonging to the terror organizations Hezbollah and Hamas in multiple locations throughout Lebanon. According to the military, the targets included weapons depots and military infrastructure above and below ground used by Hezbollah to rebuild its capabilities and advance attack plans against the State of Israel and IDF forces.

Iran threatens preemptive strike if it detects imminent security threat
In a statement, the council – established to shape Iran’s defensive strategy following the 12-day war with Israel last June – declared that “Iran’s security, independence and territorial integrity are an uncrossable red line, and any aggression or continuation of hostile behavior will be met with a proportionate, decisive and decisive response.”

US envoy Tom Barrack hails new Israel, Syria agreement as ‘breakthrough’
US Ambassador to Turkey and Syria Tom Barrack hailed the outcome of talks between Israeli and Syrian official as a “breakthrough” in comments given to The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday. “The outcome of the meeting reflects a strong and mutual desire to move from denial to genuine cooperation and shared prosperity.

The Venezuela Operation Is a Remarkable Display of the US Military’s Strength and Innovation
Since the days of Thomas Jefferson’s war against the Barbary pirates, the US military has protected our people and our way of life, regardless of the situation presented to them by the political establishment. In Venezuela, more than 150 aircraft, including fighter aircraft, bombers, surveillance aircraft, intelligence aircraft, and helicopters, flew from 20 different bases. The mission included the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Space Force, as well as the CIA, NGA, and NSA. “We watched, we prepared, we remained patient and professional,” US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Dan Caine, told the assembled press at President Donald Trump’s news conference on Saturday.

Amid Minnesota fraud scandal, Walz decision to drop out shakes up midterms
“It shows how badly the scandal was both hurting Democrats and is inescapable by the incumbent administration that Walz, had he continued to run, would have been enmeshed in an argument he could not win,” Henry Olsen told JNS. For years, Walz’s state has been at the center of federal and local investigations of fraud regarding improper payments for social services, including school meals, Medicaid and daycare that were never distributed.

Regional tensions build as Israel watches unrest in Iran and developments in Lebanon and Gaza
Amid the expansion of protests across Iran, Israeli officials remain deeply skeptical that the unrest in the Islamic Republic could lead to the fall of the ayatollah regime, as noted earlier this week by ynet military and security analyst Ron Ben-Yishai. Toppling a regime in a country like Iran requires many components, and according to Israeli assessments, the situation has not yet reached that point.

Iran Intensifies Efforts To Open A New Terror Front Against Israel In Judea And Samaria
The Israeli security agency Shin Bet recently foiled an attempt by Iran to smuggle large amounts of advanced weapons to Palestinian terrorists in Judea and Samaria … to be used in attacks against targets in Israel. The smuggling operation demonstrates that Iran, after losing its proxies in Lebanon and Syria, is intensifying its efforts to open a new eastern terror front against Israel inside Judea and Samaria by exploiting Israel’s long and porous border with Jordan.

Crude Drops After Trump Says Venezuela Will Transfer Up To 50 Million Barrels To US
Brent crude futures fell after a Truth Social post from President Trump said officials in Venezuela will transfer “30 to 50 MILLION barrels of high-quality, sanctioned oil” to the U.S. “This oil will be sold at its market price, and that money will be controlled by me, as President of the United States of America, to ensure it is used to benefit the people of Venezuela and the United States,” Trump said. He added, “I have asked Energy Secretary Chris Wright to execute this plan immediately.

Trump Says “Investigation Of California Has Begun” As Surgical Truth-Bombs About Corruption Likely Inbound
“California, under Governor Gavin Newscum, is more corrupt than Minnesota, if that’s possible??? The fraud investigation of California has begun. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Tuesday. The Democrats imported a foreign electorate because they could no longer persuade the native population to submit. This ballot-harvesting operation functions as a direct transfer of power from the citizen to the dependency class. You are toiling to subsidize the very people whose votes are harvested to cancel out your voice. Minnesota serves as the laboratory for this administrative conquest. They are looting the treasury to purchase permanent rule. The Republic is being dismantled by a voting bloc that exists solely on your dime,” X user Saggezza Eterna summarized the situation in Minnesota.

Teachers may no longer lie to parents about gender-confused children
We’re witnessing one more victory to protect our kids, and it was a hard-fought battle. Somewhere along the way, school administrators became tyrants, believing they had the authority to control parents, students, and teachers. In California, that lunacy peaked when teachers were told that they were forbidden from informing parents if their child(ren) engaged in “gender transition.” How did we reach the point where the schools believed they were all-powerful?

Regional tensions build as Israel watches unrest in Iran and developments in Lebanon and Gaza
Fears are growing in Israel that mutual suspicion with Iran could trigger a preemptive strike; messages sent from Jerusalem stressing no intent to attack have been dismissed in Tehran, as the IDF readies expanded activity in Lebanon and Hamas intensifies searches in Gaza.

Terrorists, Socialists, & Optics No One Wants to Talk About :: By Bill Wilson

There’s no polite way to open this one, so let’s just be honest about the optics. President Trump publicly met with Syria’s terrorist “president” Ahmed al-Sharaa, a man who helped kill US troops as a member of al Qaida. Trump said al-Sharaa is a “Tough guy. Strong past. Very strong past. Fighter. He’s a real leader. He led a charge, and he’s pretty amazing.” What? This guy’s terrorist bands currently are killing Christians, Kurds, Druze, and other sects in Syria. You can wrap it in strategy or diplomacy, but the reality is simple: this is a man whose movement shed American blood. This is not to denigrate President Trump in any way, but that kind of meeting is questionable. No amount of lipstick on a pig changes what it is.

Then came the meeting with New York City’s mayor, a self-declared socialist whose record includes pro-Hamas rhetoric, anti-Israel policies, and open hostility toward the Jewish community. This isn’t hidden. It’s public record. Yet when the cameras rolled and the microphones came out, President Trump stepped out and said, “He’s just different.” That line ricocheted across the country like a brick through a window. “Different” is a strange way to describe a man whose ideological leanings line up with the very movements that threaten Israel, undermine American values, and excuse violence in the name of political identity. Loyalists say Trump didn’t give Mamdani anything, but just the public meeting was gift enough.

Now, let’s address something head on. A vast majority of Daily Jot readers are strong Trump supporters. Many of us defend him daily, voted for him consistently, and believe he is the best president in modern history. I understand that loyalty. I also understand the responsibility of honest commentary. Loyalty doesn’t mean shutting off discernment. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 tells us, “Test all things; hold fast what is good.”

When a political leader begins courting terrorists on Tuesday and socialist ideologues on Thursday, Christians should raise an eyebrow. Not out of rebellion, but out of biblical wisdom. The question is not whether he’s your guy. Why the sudden wave of Islamic appeasement? Is it diplomacy? Is it strategy? Is it naivety? It appears as a dangerous drift dressed up as pragmatism. These people are against the very God of the universe.

The world is indeed unstable. The Middle East is aligning in ways that echo the end times by the prophets Daniel and Ezekiel. Anti-Israel sentiment is growing across Western institutions. Terror-linked leaders are being welcomed into polite political society. And in the middle of all that, there’s a revolving door of visits at the White House by a Muslim terrorist and a Muslim terrorist sympathizing socialist. This is perplexing at best. Yes, there is the argument of peace. And the argument that Trump is a master strategist. And I know I will lose subscribers with this Jot. But we have to be honest here. There is also an argument of a lack of discernment with matters of Islam. These meetings deserve scrutiny and discernment in these very prophetic times. This could be diplomacy or strategy, or it could be, say it with me, stupidocrisy.

Transformational :: By Daymond Duck

Note to Readers: I was in the process of writing this article when the motherboard in my computer (a computer that I bought less than 6 months ago) went bad. It took about 5 days for me to get another computer, get this article and all of the data out of my crashed computer, and get the new computer up and running. Five days is like an eternity the way current events are happening today. I got way behind and couldn’t answer or read many emails.

Anyway, this article is long because it is essentially two articles:

  • First, it contains a few of the most recent events.
  • Second, it contains older events that I had written about and was unable to send to Rapture Ready when my computer crashed.

Obviously, readers can choose to read both parts or just one or none.

Introduction:

Concerning the recent meetings between Pres. Trump and Prime Min. Netanyahu: on July 8, 2025, Jonathan Schanzer, executive director of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, said, “What the two leaders laid out last night was nothing short of transformational.”

Here is an amazing list:

  • An end to Iranian aggression,
  • Peace between Israel and Syria,
  • An end to the Gaza war,
  • Resettlement opportunities for Gazans.
  • Regional leadership in the Strip.

According to Schanzer, one of these would be a remarkable achievement, but all of them would amount to a new Middle East.

It is my personal opinion that transformational change is coming, but not yet.

As I see it:

  • The Bible clearly teaches that there will be a treaty with many for seven years of peace in the Middle East, it will be confirmed (strengthened) by the Antichrist, and world leaders will proclaim peace and safety, but it won’t last.
  • I am convinced that radical Islam is not interested in real peace.
  • I believe radical Islam is out to establish Islamic rule over all the earth, and it often uses war and deception to achieve its goals.
  • I am convinced that one thousand years of transformation in the Middle East is coming, but it will be when Jesus sits on the throne of David in Jerusalem and He is reigning over all the earth.
  • A big part of that transformational change is that Satan will be bound and chained during that one-thousand-year period.
  • Iranian aggression will not end until God destroys Iran in the Battle of Gog of Magog.
  • A lasting real peace between Israel and Syria is not likely anytime soon, and Damascus, Syria will eventually be destroyed in one night.
  • There may be a temporary ceasefire in Gaza, but peace will be removed from the earth, and there will be wars and rumors of wars until the Second Coming of Jesus.
  • There may be some kind of temporary regional leadership in Gaza, but God will not let it stand.

I agree with what Tania Curado-Koenig said following Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu’s recent trip to the U.S.

  • For decades, the nations have gathered, proposed, pressured, and promised. But Jerusalem is not like other cities, and Israel is not like other lands. And those who try to move boundary stones not given to them find themselves striving not against man — but against God.

Regardless of the good or evil intentions of world leaders, Israel’s all-powerful God will have the final say about all of these issues.

Here are a few of the most recent events.

One, concerning natural disasters increasing in frequency and intensity at the end of the age: on July 15, 2025, Moscow received one month of rain in less than two hours. There was massive flooding, but no casualties.

(More: On July 19, 2025, in Montgomery County, Maryland, five inches of rain in less than two hours caused a creek to rise more than ten feet in 30 minutes that triggered more than 100 rescue events.)

Two, concerning Russia going after Israel’s silver and gold, cattle and goods, in the latter days and latter years (Battle of Gog of Magog): on July 17, 2025, it was reported that Russia’s war with Ukraine, sanctions, and inflation are straining Russia’s economy, and at least three of Russia’s banks are having financial trouble.

(More: On July 18, 2025, the EU and UK agreed to enact an unprecedented list of new sanctions on Russia over its war with Ukraine. Officials are trying to put a chokehold on Russia’s banks and military to force a ceasefire agreement with Ukraine. They also want Pres. Trump to enact tariffs on Russia to deepen Russia’s economic woes.)

Three, concerning corruption in Washington: on July 20, 2025, it was reported that the Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified a trove of documents that she says prove that senior Obama-era officials deliberately weaponized U.S. intelligence to undermine Pres. Donald Trump and the will of the American people.

According to Gabbard, the newly declassified documents—memos, emails, and internal communications—reveal that U.S. intelligence was politicized and manipulated to justify surveillance, investigations, and public distrust of Pres. Trump, all under the false narrative of Russian collusion.

There are calls for former Pres. Obama to be tried and jailed, but some officials are warning that doing so could cause a political firestorm that would divide the country.

Nevertheless, it is beginning to look like there is strong evidence that former Pres. Obama and top members of his national security team—including James Comey, John Brennan, James Clapper, and Susan Rice—conducted a treasonous conspiracy to undermine Mr. Trump before he was elected.

(FYI: Jesus said a nation divided against itself cannot stand.)

Four, concerning the days of Lot at the end of the age: on July 18, 2025, former Pres. Obama said every dad needs to have a gay man within his circle of friends just in case his son identifies as gay or non-binary.

Five, concerning a population reduction (which may be a forerunner of the Antichrist reducing the population during the Tribulation Period): on July 21, 2025, it was reported that Canada is planning to euthanize an estimated 15 million citizens between 2027 and 2047 (about 750,000 a year for 20 years) to reduce costs.

Six, concerning the Iran-Israel war: on July 21, 2025, Iran’s Foreign Minister said Iran cannot give up its effort to enrich uranium.

(More: On July 22, 2025, Pres. Trump has issued a fresh warning to Iran, vowing further military action if Tehran attempts to rebuild or expand its nuclear program.)

Seven, concerning corruption and other problems in the UN (the wannabe world government): on July 22, 2025, it was reported that Pres. Trump intends to pull the U.S. out of the UN Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) due to its anti-America, anti-Israel leanings and its woke agenda.

Trump has already pulled the U.S. out of the WHO, the UN Human Rights Council, the global climate change accords, and the Iranian nuclear deal.

(My Opinion: Pres. Trump’s withdrawal from these UN organizations could eventually lead to budget cuts and restructuring of the UN. It might even lead to the rise of the Ten Kings.)

Here are the older events that I had written about and was unable to send in when my computer crashed.

One, concerning God’s promise that no weapon formed against Israel will prosper: on July 10, 2025, it was reported that a tech-savvy reservist in the Israeli military has developed a lightweight, cellphone-compatible, wearable drone detection system that will warn Israeli soldiers when drones are approaching.

Two, concerning control over everyone on earth and the tracking of all buying and selling: it has been reported that Bill Gates has unveiled a plan to implant a microchip and mRNA technology into every baby worldwide while it is still in the mother’s womb.

Three, concerning signs in the sun, moon, and stars at the end of the age: on July 12, 2025, it was reported that Russian scientists have recorded an active increase in the number and size of solar flares (powerful explosions of energy) on the sun, and these explosions coincide with high temperatures on Earth.

Four, concerning spiritual warfare: Iran is claiming that Israel used supernatural demonic powers in its recent war with Iran.

This seems significant because many good prophecy teachers believe Israel is being supernaturally protected by the God in heaven (Jehovah).

Iran might do well to switch their allegiance from Allah to Jehovah.

Five, concerning Israel having silver and gold, cattle and goods in the latter days and latter years: on July 13, 2025, it was reported that a cow in Israel has set a world record for milk production (18,208 liters in one year).

Six, concerning the Israel-Hamas war, in the past week, Israel has struck about 400 targets, and in the past two weeks, Israel has assassinated several important Hamas and Islamic Jihad leaders. As of now, it appears that Israel does not intend to leave Gaza while Hamas operatives are alive and holding hostages.

(More: On July 15, 2025, Israel discovered and destroyed a tunnel at Khan Younis that was more than two miles long.)

Seven, on the one-year anniversary of the failed assassination attempt on candidate Trump at Butler, PA: Pres. Trump said, “It remains my firm conviction that God alone saved me.”

Eight, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on July 15, 2025, Syrian forces moved tanks, missiles, armored personnel carriers, and more into southern Syria and started attacking some of the Druze communities in the Golan Heights.

Israel has made a commitment to defend the Druze, and Prime Min. Netanyahu immediately ordered an Israeli attack on the Syrian forces.

Concerning Syria’s leader, an Israeli official said, “Anyone who thinks Ahmad al-Shara is a legitimate leader is gravely mistaken — he is a terrorist, a barbaric murderer who should be eliminated without delay.”

Syria’s forces were violating an agreement with Israel to demilitarize a buffer zone near Israel’s border with Syria.

(Update: Syria has announced a ceasefire agreement with officials in the Druze communities that they were attacking.)

(Update: On July 16, 2025, it was reported that the ceasefire didn’t hold, and fighting between Syria and the Druze has resumed. The U.S. is in contact with both sides and trying to stop the conflict.)

(Update: On July 16, 2025, Israeli jets have attacked dozens of Syrian targets, including Syria’s Defense Ministry and buildings near the Presidential Palace in Damascus.)

(FYI: On a clear day, Israel can see Damascus from the Golan Heights, and the Bible teaches that Damascus will cease to exist as a city in one night at the end of the age; Isa. 17.)

Nine, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on July 15, 2025, Israeli jets struck several new Hezbollah targets (training camps, weapons depots, etc.) in southern Lebanon.

These targets were a violation of agreements between Lebanon and Israel.

(My opinion: It is obvious that militant Muslims cannot be trusted to keep their agreements.)

Ten, concerning the recent practice sacrifice of a blemished red heifer, for those that are interested, here is a link to an article that a reader sent to me:

Evangelicals Rehearse Ancient Red Heifer Ritual Linked to Jerusalem Temple Prophecy

Eleven, concerning deceit: on July 15, 2025, it was reported that the Netherlands closed their largest natural gas field; they built 3,550 wind turbines on land, hundreds more in a lake and the sea, they built more than 60 million solar panels (more than 3.5 for every citizen) to combat climate change, and now they have to ration electricity.

The cost of electricity in the Netherlands has soared, and it will be years before thousands of new customers, including businesses and hospitals, get hooked up.

Citizens are being asked to charge their electric vehicles and bikes outside of peak times and to limit their use of electric appliances (washing machines, vacuum cleaners, etc.).

Twelve, concerning an increase in the frequency and intensity of natural disasters at the end of the age: on July 15, 2025, it was reported that four separate “1 in a 1,000-year events” have struck the U.S. in one week (the Texas flash flood, Tropical Storm Chantal in North Carolina, and extreme weather in Chicago and New Mexico).

In Texas, the Guadalupe River rose 20 feet in 90 minutes.

North Carolina got 12 inches of rain in 24 hours.

(More: On July 15, 2025, the state of New Jersey declared a statewide emergency when more than 6 inches of rain fell in a few hours. Two people were killed, and this was the second deadly storm in New Jersey this month. Three were killed in the other one.)

FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

UPDATE: Israel Lauches 160 Ariel Attacks in Syria, including Against Military Headquarters in Damascus | The Gateway Pundit

As reported earlier, Israel fired several missiles into Damascus, Syria on Wednesday.

Israel fired rockets at the Syrian Defense Ministry’s headquarters in Damascus, Syria, as it reportedly prepares for a multi-day campaign against the Syrian regime.

“As of Wednesday afternoon, the IDF had undertaken 160 aerial attacks on Syrian regime forces in and around the vicinity of Sweida in southern Syria,” the Jerusalem Post reports.

Video from the scene shows at least one of Israel’s strikes on a building in Syria.

This comes after President Trump bombed Iran’s nuclear facilities and negotiated a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.

Per Fox:

Israel announced on Wednesday that its forces struck near the entrance of the Syrian Defense Ministry’s headquarters in Damascus.

“The IDF continues to monitor developments and the regime’s actions against Druze civilians in southern Syria. In accordance with directives from the political echelon, the IDF is striking in the area and remains prepared for various scenarios,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) wrote on X.

An Israeli military official said on Wednesday that while the Syrian regime has claimed it is acting to restore order, what is happening on the ground tells a “very different story.” The official added that the more the regime intervenes “the worse it gets.”

The southern Syrian city of Sweida has become a flashpoint in recent days as the country’s leaders clash with armed Druze groups. Syria’s Defense Ministry claimed its forces acted after militias in Sweida violated a ceasefire agreement reached on Tuesday.

Netanyahu said in a statement translated by Google,

My fellow Druze citizens of Israel, the situation in Sweida, the situation in southwestern Syria, is very serious.

The IDF is working, the Air Force is working, other forces are working. We are working to save our Druze brothers and to eliminate the regime’s gangs.

And now I have one request from you: You are citizens of Israel. Do not cross the border.

You are risking your lives; you could be murdered, you could be kidnapped, and you are harming the efforts of the IDF. Therefore, I ask you – return to your homes, let the IDF act.

This is a developing story.

The Fragile Republic: Iran’s Internal Fault Lines Deepen After Israel Conflict | Religion Unplugged

(ANALYSIS) The 12-day confrontation between Iran and Israel in June 2025 may not have escalated into a full-scale regional war, but it marks a potentially critical turning point in Iran’s internal political landscape.

Though the Islamic Republic has entered into direct conflict with a foreign adversary before, it has never done so while so militarily weakenedinternally fractured and increasingly alienated from its own population.

And unlike the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980s, when national unity coalesced around the defense of Iranian sovereignty, this time the government appeared to fight without significant public support. While accurate polling from within Iran is hard to come by, the lack of pro-government rallies, the low approval numbers for the government ahead of the war and the government’s subsequent crackdown since tell their own stories.

As a researcher of different ethnic groups within the country, I know that many Iranians – especially those from historically marginalized communities – viewed the conflict with Israel not as a defense of the nation but as a reckless consequence of the government’s ideological adventurism and regional proxy campaigns. It puts the Islamic Republic in its most vulnerable position since its establishment after the Iranian Revolution in 1979.

Hard and soft power diminished

It is worth taking a snapshot of just how diminished the Iranian government is following the recent series of blows.

Its soft power – once built on revolutionary legitimacy, Shiite ideological influence and anti-Western propaganda – has eroded dramatically.

For decades, the Islamic Republic relied on a powerful narrative: that it was the only government bold enough to confront the United States and Israel, defend Muslim causes globally and serve as the spiritual leader of the Islamic world.

This image, projected through state media, proxy militias and religious rhetoric, helped the government justify its foreign interventions and massive military spending, particularly on nuclear development and regional militias.

But that narrative no longer resonates the way it once did. The leaders of Iran can no longer claim to inspire unity at home or fear abroad. Even among Shiite populations in Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen, support during the Israel-Iran confrontation was muted. Inside Iran, meanwhile, propaganda portraying Israel as the existential enemy has lost its grip, especially among the youth, who increasingly identify with human rights movements rather than government slogans.

It is also clear that Iran’s hard power is getting weaker. The loss of senior commanders and the destruction of important military infrastructure have shown that the government’s intelligence and security systems are severely compromised.

Even before Israel’s attack, a number of reports showed that Iran’s military was in its weakest state in decades. The real surprise in the recent war came not from the scale of the damage by Israeli and U.S. bombs but from how deeply Israel had penetrated the upper echelons of the Iranian military and intelligence sectors. The recent conflict amounted to a security as well as a military failure.

Externally defeated, internally adrift

As its power across the region appears diminished, so too is the Iranian government’s grip loosening internally. A 2024 survey by Iran’s Ministry of Culture revealed “discontent” among the population, with over 90% of Iranians “dissatisfied” with the country’s current position. Elections in November 2024 saw a turnout of under 40%, further underscoring Iranians’ discontent with the political process.

And reporting from inside Iran suggests many Iranians blame government policies for the war with Israel. “I place the blame on this country’s decision-makers,” one resident of Rasht told Reuters, “their policies have brought war and destruction upon us.”

The government has responded with a tactic it has used before: repression. According to government-aligned media, over 700 people were arrested during and immediately after the conflict, accused of collaborating with the Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency.

As in past crackdowns, ethnic minority regions – particularly Kurdish areas – have been targeted.

One day after the ceasefire with Israel, the government executed three Kurdish cross-border laborers who rely on smuggling goods to survive in Iran’s underdeveloped Kurdish provinces.

These executions, which were done without a trial or legal counsel, fit a pattern of how the government uses ethnic scapegoating to stay in power. And it echoes a historic pattern: When the government feels threatened, it strikes the Kurds first.

A historical pattern of repression

Kurds are estimated to number 10-12 million in Iran, composing roughly 12% to 15% of the country’s total population – making them the third-largest ethnic group after Persians and Azeris. Iran also includes significant Baluch and Arab minorities.

When the Islamic Republic was established in 1979, many ethnic groups supported the revolution. They hoped for a more inclusive and democratic Iran than what preceded it – the brutal autocracy of the shah that had frequently targeted minorities.

Those hopes were quickly dashed. By rejecting pluralism and promoting a unifying ideology centered on Shiite Islam and Persian identity, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini marginalized non-Persian and non-Shiite groups.

Other ethnic groups were viewed with suspicion, while Shiite Azerbaijanis were mainly co-opted into the system.

Khomeini declared jihad against Kurdish resistance groups, labeling them infidels, separatists and agents of Israel and the United States.

Armed with advanced weaponry inherited from the last Pahlavi shah, the government launched a military campaign in Kurdistan province. Many Kurdish villages and towns were destroyed, and approximately 50,000 Iranian Kurds were killed between 1979 and 1988.

The region was turned into a militarized zone — a status that continues today.

Campaign against Kurds

After the Iran-Iraq war ended in August 1988, the government — economically strained and militarily weakened – feared a domestic uprising.

But instead of embracing political reform, it responded with one of the most brutal crackdowns in Iran’s history. Khomeini issued a fatwa, or religious edict, ordering the execution of political prisoners, including large numbers of Kurdish dissidents.

Between late July and September 1988, thousands of political prisoners were executed – many without trial or any legal process. At least 5,000 people were killed and buried in unmarked mass graves, according to Amnesty International.

Khomeini labeled them “mohareb,” or “warriors against God,” and criticized the Revolutionary Courts for not sentencing them to death sooner. This mass execution campaign signaled the government’s resolve to eliminate all dissent, regardless of legal precedent or human rights norms.

In the years that followed, the government systematically assassinated prominent Kurdish leaders and other opposition leaders, both in Iran and overseas.

This targeted elimination of Kurdish leadership, combined with the mass executions of political prisoners, was a deliberate strategy to decapitate any organized opposition before it could challenge the government’s survival.

A new crisis, the same strategy

The Islamic Republic appears to be using the same playbook now, but under far more fragile conditions.

Given the precarious state of the government, it is fair to ask why there are not more protests now, especially in ethnic minority regions. For many, the answer is fear over what happens next.

Many Kurds have learned from previous uprisings – particularly the 2022 “Women, Life, Freedom” movement – that when they lead protests, they face the harshest crackdown. Over 56% of those killed and persecuted in the subsequent crackdown were Kurds.

Meanwhile, the overall opposition remains fractured and leaderless, both along ethnic lines and in terms of goals. The main opposition groups have traditionally been reluctant to acknowledge ethnic rights, let alone include them in any vision for a future Iran. Rather, they insist on “territorial integrity” as a precondition for any dialogue, echoing the Islamic Republic’s rhetoric.

This is a key legacy of the Islamic Republic: Its propaganda has not only shaped domestic opinion but also influenced the opposition, dividing Iranians at home and abroad. And it has long mobilized the dominant ethnic group against minorities, especially Kurds, by portraying them as internal enemies.

Trump’s Middle East Trip Begins with Whirlwind of Economic Deals, Diplomatic Proposals | CBN

JERUSALEM, Israel – President Donald Trump ended the first day of his first Middle East trip in the second term with a series of stunning economic and political initiatives. The moves will likely have a major impact on the region, the U.S., and Israel.

The president signed a deal on Tuesday with Saudi Arabia worth hundreds of billions of dollars. He also encouraged Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman to recognize Israel, claimed he’s lifting sanctions on Syria, and issued a new warning to Iran.

The deal with Saudi Arabia amounts to about $600 billion — including a $142 billion arms agreement — with potentially more investments up to a trillion dollars.

At the Saudi Investor Conference, Trump urged the Saudis to join the Abraham Accords, stating, It’s my fervent hope, wish, and even my dream that Saudi Arabia, a place I have such respect for, especially over the last fairly short period of time, what you’ve been able to do, but will soon be joining the Abraham Accords.”

He added, “It will be a special day in the Middle East with the whole world watching, when Saudi Arabia joins us, and you’ll be greatly honoring me and you will be greatly honoring all of those people that have fought so hard for the Middle East, and I really think it’s going to be something special. You’ll do it in your own time.”

The president also criticized the regime in Tehran and blamed it for much of the turmoil in the Middle East.

“The biggest and most destructive of these forces is the regime in Iran, which has caused unthinkable suffering in Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, Iraq, Yemen, and beyond,” Trump declared.

And he issued an ultimatum.

“I want to make a deal with Iran,” he said. “If I can make a deal with Iran, I’ll be very happy if we’re going to make your region and the world a safer place. But if Iran’s leadership rejects this olive branch and continues to attack their neighbors, then we will have no choice but to inflict massive maximum pressure, drive Iranian oil exports to zero, like I did before… and take all action required to stop the regime from ever having a nuclear weapon. Iran will never have a nuclear weapon.”

Trump also announced the U.S. has taken steps to normalize relations with Syria and will lift sanctions at the urging of Crown Prince bin Salman and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The president revealed “(Erdogan) called me the other day and asked for a very similar thing, among others, and friends of mine, people that I have a lot of respect for in the Middle East. I will be ordering the cessation of sanctions against Syria in order to give them a chance at greatness.”

Trump met on Wednesday with the new self-appointed president of Syria, Ahmad al-Sharaa.

Dr. Kamal Sido, a human rights activist, just visited Syria and questions whether al-Sharaa, who at one time was a member of the terror group ISIS, has changed.

Sido says al-Sharaa, who led an ISIS faction under the name Abu Mohammad al-Julani, is still the same person. He insists, (al-Shara) may be moderate, but (in practice), in fact, he is a radical Sunni imam.”

Sido believes minorities in Syria are fearful of the new government.

NASA Is Tracking a Massive Anomaly in Earth’s Magnetic Field — And It’s Getting Worse
A vast and evolving anomaly in Earth’s magnetic field, situated above South America and the southern Atlantic Ocean, continues to attract focused attention from NASA researchers. This region, known as the South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA), is marked by significantly reduced magnetic intensity, allowing high-energy solar particles to approach closer to Earth than usual. NASA geophysicists explain that the anomaly is also tied to a local reversal of magnetic polarity in the region, which further weakens the overall dipole field.

‘Slippery slope’: Watch Tesla terrorists suddenly face more than just criminal charges

After the Ark: Why aren’t we searching for Temple artifacts?
There is evidence that several items from the Second Temple brought to Rome may exist in the Vatican’s vaults, but rabbis warn: “Israel doesn’t need to open another front now.” The recent revelation that the CIA once searched for the Ark of the Covenant raises an intriguing question: Why isn’t Israel actively searching for Temple artifacts like the Menorah, the Table of Showbread, and especially the Ark of the Covenant? This revelation, published in the Daily Mail, resembles the plot of “Raiders of the Lost Ark” by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas. However, it raises serious questions about why these invaluable Jewish artifacts have never become targets for Israeli archaeological missions.

Below the satanic symbol, a banner was unveiled, stating the Latin words: “Exaudi Nos, Lucifer, Et Surge Ex Abysso, Sume Animas Nostras” (“Hear us, Lucifer, rise from the abyss and accept our souls”).

Expanding Turkish military presence across region catches the attention of Bible prophecy teachers
Several sources familiar with the discussions told Reuters that Erdoğan and al-Shara discussed the possibility of establishing two Turkish bases in Syria’s central desert region, including a former Russian airbase (T4) east of the city of Homs. The report also said that the agreement could include Turkish protection of Syrian airspace to prevent future attacks, such as the Israeli strikes aimed at destroying military supplies left by the former government of Bashar al-Assad.

“IDF troops, under the leadership of the Southern Command, are deepening the operation, and this will continue at a deliberate and determined pace,” Zamir stated during the visit. He explained: “We will preserve operational ambiguity and the element of surprise—the field will speak for itself. The only thing that can halt our further advance is the release of our hostages! Their return would allow our forces to reposition and enable the continuation of negotiations.”

New Russian Offensive In Ukraine Looms

Senior US lawmakers have issued a stark warning to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres over efforts to establish yet another investigatory mechanism targeting Israel, cautioning that such actions could lead to sanctions. House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Brian Mast (R-FL) and Senate Foreign Relations Committee Ranking Member Jim Risch (R-ID) sent a letter to Guterres on Monday, condemning the UN’s bias against Israel and urging him to block any new probe. The warning comes ahead of a scheduled UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) vote this week on a resolution that could create an open-ended investigative mechanism focusing solely on Israel.

Why is the new Syrian regime targeting minorities? | Denison Forum

Syrian security forces inspect vehicles at a checkpoint, following a recent wave of violence between Syrian security forces and gunmen loyal to former President Bashar Assad, as well as subsequent sectarian attacks, in Latakia, in Syria's coastal region, Tuesday, March 11, 2025. (AP Photo/Ghaith Alsayed)

It seemed things were getting better in Syria after the fall of the Assad regime. For example, the new Syrian government recently reached an agreement with the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces that control the northeast part of the country, bringing most of the nation under the central government that replaced Bashar al-Assad.

When Ahmed al-Sharaa led an Islamist group called Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) to overthrow the Assad regime last year, he promised inclusive and democratic governance for the war-torn country. But now we are hearing that recent violence against the Alawite minority was carried out not by Assad loyalists, as had been reported, but by pro-government forces. More than a thousand people were killed in the bloodshed, most of whom were Alawite civilians.

We should note that the systematic targeting of Alawites is consistent with the goals of ISIS, which especially hates Shiites and minorities. (Alawites are distinct from Shiites, but they are often seen as part of the same category.)

Video footage and images show militants wearing a uniform with the ISIS black flag symbol. In one video, a zealot is pictured inside a truck at the scene of a massacre as he broadcasts to his colleagues: “To the mujahadeen and those who stand guard, do not leave alive any Alawite, male or female. . . . Slaughter them all, including the children in the bed. These are pigs. Take them and throw them into the sea, as the sages of old advise.”

Sharaa is a former al-Qaeda operative, though he has tried to distance himself publicly from his terrorist roots. However, if ISIS remnants are being integrated into the Syrian state security services, we could see a new surge of terrorism in the region and beyond.

Are entire villages being slaughtered?

In the Free Press, a reporter named Theo Padnos describes his two years held captive by Jabhat al-Nusra, the precursor to HTS. He says they regularly tortured him and made clear their desire to destroy the Alawite minority.

Accordingly, he warns, “Some three million Alawites . . . are in mortal danger because of the Islamist terrorists who now rule Syria.”

Christians are reportedly being persecuted by the new regime as well. According to Asia News, a Vatican-affiliated news agency that reports on Christian communities, more than eight hundred people were recently slaughtered in their homes solely because they were Christians.

Some say the number of victims is much higher. The Iraqi Christian Foundation, which advocates for Christians and other religious minorities in the Middle East, reports the death toll at eighteen hundred. It alleges that entire villages are being slaughtered.

Rev. Johnnie Moore, president of the Congress of Christian Leaders, told Fox News Digital his organization has verified that the fighters “indiscriminately and grotesquely killed countless civilians, including a number of Christians,” adding that “the numbers are rising.” He called the atrocity “a clear demonstration that this new government has failed at the first task of any government, which is to protect its citizens.”

For more on the persecution of Christians in Syria and why they have been targeted, see Laurel Wood’s “Why are Christians being killed in Syria?

Three urgent responses

You and I can respond to this horrific news in three ways.

One: Pray for divine protection for minority populations being persecuted in Syria. Whether they are Christians or Alawite Muslims, they are beloved by our Father. They deserve our compassion and daily intercession.

Two: Pray for our leaders to have discernment in dealing with the new regime in Syria. Each population group of any significance has its own metanarrative, and their leaders can be expected to act in their national best interest.

If the new leaders in Syria, many of whom are Islamists, believe their goals are best met by persecuting minorities while lying about this to the larger world, they may well do so. Given the horrific reporting of recent days, the international community must not take them at their word. Discernment is vital.

Three: Use our influence to rally others to this cause. As I am writing about this news in this way, you can use your social media platforms to influence others as well. Ask your pastor and church leaders to pray for Christians and other minorities in Syria, perhaps during worship services this Sunday morning. Encourage those you know to join you in an army of intercession.

George Orwell observed, “The real test of character is how you treat someone who has no possibility of doing you any good.” Persecuted Syrians cannot benefit us today, but we can do them much good.

According to Billy Graham, “Faithfulness and persecution often go hand in hand.” This is true not only for faithful Christians in Syria but also for those who would respond to such persecution with their own faithfulness.

Beginning now.

(AP Photo/Omar Albam)

An outbreak of violence in Syria last week claimed the lives of more than 1000 people after clashes between government loyalists and supporters of former dictator Bashar al-Assad spiraled into a series of revenge killings. The violence began in Syria’s coastal region, home of the Alawite sect. Although the clashes began between militant forces, hundreds of those dead were civilians

Reports indicate that members of minority religious groups, particularly the Alawites but possibly including Christians, have been specifically targeted, likely for their association with the former regime. Several Christians are among the dead, with believers in Syria fearing more widespread persecution to come after the Alawite massacres.

Syria is a majority Sunni Islamic nation, while the Alawite sect is an offshoot of Shia Islam incorporating elements of Christianity and Gnosticism. The Assad family is Alawite, and the sect became associated with the Assad regime’s atrocities during Syria’s decade-long civil war.

After an al-Qaeda-linked rebel group ousted Assad late last year, fears of Sunni revenge killings accompanied the change of regime. These fears appear to have been realized, with government loyalists speaking of “purifying the country” and conducting “widespread field executions” that have not distinguished between civilians and members of armed groups.

Why Christians are particularly vulnerable

It is unclear whether the government loyalists carrying out these massacres are acting at the direction of Damascus or on their own initiative. Interim President Ahmad al-Shaara was a key figure in the Sunni rebel group that ousted Assad, but his government has promised protection for minority communities

Shaara has also promised to hold those responsible for civilian massacres accountable. Whether he will do so remains to be seen.

Syria’s Christian population is one of the oldest in the world. During the civil war, Islamist violence caused most of its 2.5 million believers to flee the country, with only around 300,000 remaining. In addition to considering believers infidels, Islamist groups opposing Assad associated Christians with his regime, which was comparatively more tolerant and secular than the government of most Islamic countries.

This association with the Assad regime may soon make them targets for reprisal violence alongside the Alawites and other minorities if it hasn’t already. Syrian Christians are particularly vulnerable to Islamist violence, as they are known to be unarmed and committed to nonviolence. Christian converts from Islam are also uniquely vulnerable, as their rejection of the Islamic faith makes them targets for militants.

Persecution is nothing new

When we see that our brothers and sisters are endangered for the sake of our faith, we must pray for them. Scripture tells us to “remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them” (Hebrews 13:3), and to “make supplication for all the saints” (Ephesians 6:18). Prayer has power, and God is faithful to supply everything believers need to face trials for His sake. (Philippians 4:19)

Persecution for Christ’s sake is nothing new. Jesus came to his own people, who rejected him (John 1:11). He reminded his disciples that, as his followers, they would face the same challenges he did, including hardship and persecution–“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.” (John 15:18).

Nevertheless, Jesus has “overcome the world,” and we can take comfort in his sovereignty and care. (John 16:33) Whatever we face, He is present with us and will help us endure whatever trials this life brings.

Let us keep our Syrian brothers and sisters in our prayers, along with all those caught in this latest wave of violence. Pray that God would strengthen and encourage his church and that his kingdom would advance even in the darkest and most uncertain of circumstances.

Christians in Syria Face ‘Potential Genocide,’ Experts Warn After Recent Killings | ChurchLeaders

Human rights groups and world leaders are issuing alarms about the recent slaughter of hundreds of minorities—including Christians—in Syria. Since March 6, more than 1,000 Alawites (members of a minority Shia Muslim sect) and Christians have been killed throughout the country, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

Following a 13-year civil war, long-time Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad was ousted last December. Transitional President Ahmed al-Sharaa has said he wants “national unity and domestic peace.” But clashes have been ongoing between his government’s troops and opposition forces who remain loyal to Al-Assad, who is an Alawite.

Last weekend, the violence escalated after opposition forces ambushed government troops in northwest Syria, in an area populated by many Alawites. According to the United Nations, government troops then retaliated against civilians, killing entire families and cutting off drinking water and electricity.

Most casualties have been civilians, including some of the 300,000 Christians who remain in Syria. (Before the civil war, about 2.5 million Christians lived there.) Alawites make up about one-tenth of the country’s population. According to news reports, many minorities have fled to the mountains to seek shelter.

John Samara, a Christian from Syria who leads the outreach ministry Ananias House, told The Voice of the Martyrs, “We’re looking at potential genocide against Christians in Syria.” Persecution is escalating as more Muslims in Syria hear about and follow Jesus, he added. Although the nation’s new leadership has indicated it will protect the freedom of religious minority groups, Samara said those words appear to be hollow.

Footage Shows Christians Slaughtered in Syria

On social media, people are sharing images of murdered Syrian minorities and requesting prayers for persecuted Christians. Virginia Pastor Garrett Kell posted a video of soldiers hitting bodies that had been piled in the bed of a pickup truck.

“Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ in Syria,” Kell wrote. “They are being hunted in their homes, shamed in the streets, and killed without mercy. Satan strives to snuff out their faith but God will sustain them as He has promised. Lord, have mercy.”

Another person posted a video of huddling families and wrote, “Thousands of Christian Syrians have fled to this airbase fearing for their lives as Jihadis continue to commit mass murder. Here they are protected by Russian Soldiers. Legacy Media will never report this.”

The Iraqi Christian Foundation, which advocates for minorities throughout the Middle East, also is sharing images of recent violence. Alawites and Christians in Syria are being “massacred,” the group wrote on March 11. Three days earlier, it had posted:

Syrian Christians and Alawites are being slaughtered in Syria by soldiers of the ISIS/AlQaeda terrorist government. The death toll is 1800 in just the last few days, with many victims still missing. Entire villages are being slaughtered by these terrorist govt forces. … This is what we warned would happen if the secular Syrian Government was removed. Pray for the Christians & other minorities in Syria.

The Christian Emergency Alliance also is posting videos, including testimony from eyewitnesses. “The situation is 100 times worse than what you’re seeing on the media,” one man urged in a video. “Please stop this genocide.”

The alliance also shared videos of Christians marching through city streets with crosses, plus some volunteers who watch over Christian neighborhoods in Damascus at night.

On March 11, the Christian Emergency Alliance shared these prayer requests from Christians living in Syria:

  • Protection of Christians and minority groups
  • Relentless spread of the gospel
  • Wisdom for the country’s leaders
  • Strength for Christians who are afraid
  • Protection of church leaders and Christian families
  • Intervention for the vulnerable
  • Guidance for Christian ministries engaged in the area

Marco Rubio: America ‘Stands With Syria’s Religious and Ethnic Minorities’

In response to the escalating violence, various groups are urging the West to pay attention and act. Leaders of Syria’s main Christian branches, including the Greek Orthodox Church, united to call for “an immediate end to these horrific acts, which stand in stark opposition to all human and moral values.”

According to the nonprofit Greco-Levantines World Wide, last weekend a Greek Orthodox priest was martyred in the city of Baniyas.

“It is of the utmost importance that the U.S. and Europe are keeping a close eye on Syria,” said Greek Foreign Minister Giorigios Gerapetritis before the weekend’s violence. “We need to encourage the new regime to stay close to international law.”

On March 9, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said America “condemns the radical Islamist terrorists, including foreign jihadis, that murdered people in western Syria in recent days.” He added, “The United States stands with Syria’s religious and ethnic minorities, including its Christian, Druze, Alawite, and Kurdish communities, and offers its condolences to the victims and their families.”

Rubio said interim leadership must hold accountable “the perpetrators of these massacres against Syria’s minority communities.”

Some people are blaming former President Joe Biden for removing the $10 million bounty from the head of al-Sharaa. The transitional president is a long-time leader of the terrorist organization Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, which has had links to al-Qaeda and ISIS.

Al-Sharaa, also known as Abu Mohammad al-Julani, “switched his robe for a suit and presented a moderate face,” said Israel Defense Minister Israel Katz. “Now he’s taken off the mask and exposed his true face: A jihadist terrorist of the al-Qaeda school who is committing horrifying acts against a civilian population.”

Katz emphasized that Israel will defend itself against Syrian threats and will “protect the communities of the Golan and Galilee.”

Reports From Religious Minorities in Syria

Syrians who requested anonymity are offering snapshots of what is happening to religious minorities. An Alawite who lives in Europe but communicates with relatives in Syria said more than 4,000 minorities have been killed. “Fighters have unleashed a wave of terror against civilians in Syria’s coastal cities,” she wrote.

Another resident described how troops say, “Alawites are pigs” as they steal money, confiscate weapons, and kill entire families. “I feel there is no safety,” the woman said. “There is no homeland. There is nowhere to escape to, and no one to defend us. I feel fear and horrifying feelings.”

The woman begged the United States for help, saying Islamists want to kill all minorities. “They don’t want us in Syria,” she said. “They are seeking revenge from the former regime. I am asking for protection and to live in dignity, because we can be killed at any moment.”

GRAPHIC WARNING: Over 7,000 Alawites and Christians Massacred by Islamists in Syria as Israel Sends the Cavalry to the Rescue | The Gateway Pundit

Ghastly images emerged of the ethnic cleansing of Alawites and Christians by the Islamist HTS militia in Syria, with estimates of over 7,000 dead since Friday. Israel responded to appeals for aid by Alawite leaders with air strikes Monday night.

Mainstream media continue to ignore the ongoing genocide in Syria as the Islamist Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) militia went on a klling spree in Latakia province, where the Alawite minority lives.

Desperate Christians appealed for help on social media:

Richard Spencer’s Jihad Watch posted a video of a Jolani-affiliated militant commander openly calling for the slaughter of Alawite women and children over his microphone:

“To the Mujahideen, do not leave alive any Alawite, male or female. The most respected among them will be slaughtered. The most respected Alawite woman will be slaughtered. Slaughter them all, including the children in the bed. These are pigs. Take them and throw them into the sea”.

Pamela Geller posted a desperate appeal from Syria:

“I apologize for writing to you from a fake email, but I fear for myself if my identity is known, I am a Syrian Alawite citizen, I beg you with all forms of begging and request, help us stop the rivers of blood in Syria, the blood of the Alawites fills the streets, the New Syrian Army led by al-Julani is a terrorist army of mercenaries, more than 4 thousand have been killed so far and the media does not follow and film more than hundreds, at every moment columns of extremist Islamic jihadist mercenaries are killing innocents, burning homes, stealing and looting, we no longer have any hope of life on this earth, please help in any way, we ask for protection from any country in the world to enter Syria instead of al-Julani and his mercenaries, America, France, Israel, Russia.. any country, the important thing is to get rid of these mercenaries and save what remains of humanity. I am looking forward to sending you hundreds of documented videos and photos…. Please help us… The Arabs have failed us and are supporting this extremist Islam… We have little hope from the foreign community to save us from this genocide.”

The number of victims ranges between 7,000 and 10,000, according to reports.

“They are hiding the bodies of the children, women, and residents they have killed,” Geller posted. “The Al-Jolani gangs are extremist Islamic groups that kill, terrorize, and steal. They burnt the bodies to hide the evidence of their crimes. They are collecting civilians’ dead bodies and throwing them in the sea or hiding them and clean roads from blood to let media like A Jazeera record the scene as if there is nothing… please make our voice heard, please!”

Alawite leaders appealed to Israel for help:

“We announce our demand for the Israeli government, represented by its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to provide protection, aid, assistance and support, because the entire world has remained silent about our injustice, and we have only heard a voice from the State of Israel condemning the crimes committed by the Damascus government against the Alawites, and we thank it for that.

We say to the Jewish state, we extend our hands to you and we will be your best and most loyal friends, so that you can rid us of this extremist Islamic rule that will be a place for training and preparing groups from which they will launch their fight against you. You have suffered from the Islamists in the past and you have known their crimes, and the treacherous terrorist Islamic Hamas movement is the best example of the ugliness of the Islamists who have always adopted terrorism and bloodshed as a policy and approach, and the Hamas movement is establishing a base in Syria to be a launching pad for action against you.

We demand that the IDF move its planes and forces to protect us. We demand that the Israeli Ministry of Defense move its warships and warships towards the coast. We demand that the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs raise the issue of crimes against the Alawites at the international level. We demand that the honest Israeli media shed light on the massacres being committed against us. Help us separate from this extremist Islamic state.”

Israeli Air Force (IAF) fighter jets then struck Syria overnight Tuesday, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated earlier on Monday that “(Abu Mohammad) Al-Jolani took off his jalabiya, put on a suit, and presented a moderate facade. Now, he has removed the mask, revealing his true face: a jihadist terrorist from the Al-Qaeda school, committing atrocities against the Alawite civilian population,” Katz wrote in a post on social media, as JNS reported.

Katz said Israel would “ensure that southern Syria remains demilitarized and free of threats, and we will protect the local Druze population,” warning that “anyone who harms them will face our response.”

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar slammed European leaders for their willingness to engage with Al-Sharaa.

“Europeans flocked to Damascus in recent months to shake his hand, but he and his men were jihadists and have remained so, even if they now wear suits,” Sa’ar stated, urging the international community to condemn what he described as the “barbaric murder of civilians.”

A month ago, the European Commission gave Al-Jolani $235,000,000 and invited him to come to Brussels March 17.

The Biden Regime appropriated  $1.2 Billion to Syria 2024 and continued to pay out the money even after the terrorist militia took over Dec. 5. President Donald J. Trump ordered a 90-day pause on all foreign aid Jan. 20.

“The United States condemns the radical Islamist terrorists, including foreign jihadis, that murdered people in western Syria in recent days”, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said. “The United States stands with Syria’s religious and ethnic minorities, including its Christian, Druze, Alawite, and Kurdish communities, and offers its condolences to the victims and their families. Syria’s interim authorities must hold the perpetrators of these massacres against Syria’s minority communities accountable.”

Meanwhile, the mainstream media continues to portray the head of the Islamist terrorists, Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa, also known by the nom de guerre Abu Mohammad Al-Jolani, as some sort of moderate whose militias somehow just got out of hand.

Democrat Governors Arranged Meeting With Biden White House to Thwart Trump Agenda, Emails Show | IFA

Before leaving office, former President Joe Biden may have coordinated with Democrat governors to sabotage the incoming President.

From The Daily SignalWhite House officials under outgoing President Joe Biden may have colluded with staffers representing a coalition of Democrat governors planning to thwart President-elect Donald Trump’s agenda, according to a watchdog group and internal emails obtained from the coalition, known as Governors Safeguarding Democracy.

Post a prayer for your state!

The precise date of the meeting is not clear, but it appears to have been either Dec. 16 or Dec. 17. The emails refer to planning for the meeting but do not include the topics discussed.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and Colorado Gov. Jared Polis are the co-chairs of Governors Safeguarding Democracy, which is part of the Governors Action Alliance.

The emails were obtained by the private nonprofit watchdog group Government Accountability and Oversight through a public records request and shared with The Daily Signal.

The emails show that on Dec. 2, Governors Action Alliance CEO Julia Spiegel emailed Democrat state officials in numerous states about plans for Governors Safeguarding Democracy.

One of the agenda items was “WH Meeting & Priority Asks.”

The email further explained: “Gov. Pritzker’s Chief of Staff Anne Caprera will host a call with the administration to discuss lock-in asks. If your office would like to join this meeting, please email Julia Spiegel … by the end of this week.”

On Dec. 11, Allegra Chapman, managing director for Governors Safeguarding Democracy, sent an email to staffers for the governors of Illinois and Colorado with the subject line, “Time to talk on Fri re WH mtg pre-call?”

“Hi team! I’m reaching out now to set up a time for any/all offices planning to join the WH meeting next week (likely on Mon or Tues) to touch base first,” Chapman wrote. “That way, we can know who will be on next week, what the priorities are, what each office’s ask(s) might be, and who will cover what on the call with the WH.”

If the meeting occurred, it suggests the outgoing Biden administration followed the pattern of the previous Democrat administration, said Chris Horner, attorney for Government Accountability and Oversight.

Horner said this reminds him of the time after the 2016 election when the outgoing Barack Obama administration set legal probes of the first Trump presidency in motion. Obama’s national security adviser, Susan Rice, was involved in digging into incoming Trump administration officials.

“One can’t help but be reminded by this of the outgoing Obama-Biden team’s work to plant land mines and derail its successor during the 2017 transition,” Horner told The Daily Signal in a statement.

Referring to the possible meeting between Biden officials and staffers from Governors Safeguarding Democracy, Horner said it raises the question of how they sought to plant landmines and derail Trump this time: “What information did the Biden White House pass along to assist with this ‘GSD’ (‘Governors Sock-puppeting for Donors’) project; what were these ‘priority asks;’ were any privileges or obligations violated in doing so; was Susan Rice involved, again; and, of course, will there be any accountability this time?”

The emails from Spiegel and Chapman did not state what was discussed in the meeting. But an email from Chapman to state officials on Dec. 20, which would have likely come afterwards, talked about immigration.

“Many offices worked with GovAct [Governors Action Alliance] to urge the Biden administration to finalize regulations that modernize and improve visa and employment authorization processes,” Chapman wrote.

“The administration has now taken action to finalize rulemaking in three requested areas: H1-B modernization; Automatic Employment Authorization Extension; and H-2 visa modernization,” Chapman continued in the Dec. 20 email. “Collectively, these rules have the impact of increasing protections for immigrants and improving outcomes for businesses in your communities in the face of anticipated federal actions next year.”

Before launching Governors Safeguarding Democracy on Nov. 13 after Trump’s election, the Governors Action Alliance launched the Reproductive Freedom Alliance, an abortion advocacy group that boasts it spent $535 million to expand abortion at the state level.

The Governors Action Alliance is a project of the Global Impact Social Welfare Fund, a left-leaning advocacy group that has given grants to liberal groups advocating for gun control and stronger environmental regulations, according to the Capital Research Center, a think tank that monitors nonprofits.

The Governors Action Alliance received $500,000 last year from liberal billionaire Pierre Omidyar’s group the Democracy Fund.

The Daily Signal reached out to the Governors Action Alliance and both Spiegel and Chapman directly for comment and to ask if the planned meeting actually occurred and what was discussed.

The Daily Signal also contacted the press offices of both Pritzker and Polis with similar questions about the meeting. The Daily Signal further reached out to the press contact for Governors Safeguarding Democracy.

None responded by publication time.

A New Day Is Coming :: By Daymond Duck

On Dec. 26, 2024, Israel Hayom reported that senior Israeli officials believe Trump has just two objectives regarding Gaza and Israel that will go into effect on Jan. 20, 2025.

  • The release of the hostages.
  • An Israeli victory over Hamas.

Israeli officials also believe that:

  • Trump will cancel all of Biden’s restrictions on Israel.
  • Trump will provide Israel with all the weapons Israel needs.

A new day is coming.

  • Israel’s military will grow stronger.
  • Israel’s borders will be expanded.
  • Israel’s enemies will continue to fail.

(My opinion: Israel must still go through the Tribulation Period, and the entire world will be against her, but God is strengthening Israel before that day arrives.)

Here are more signs that a new day is coming.

One, on Dec. 31, a CNN reporter asked Pres. Trump about his past comment that there will be “hell to pay” if the hostages are not returned by the time he assumes office on Jan. 20, 2025.

Trump replied:

  • Let me put it this way: They had better let the hostages come back soon.

Two, on Dec. 24, 2024, TV7 Israel News reported that HTS (the Turkish-backed terrorist group that helped bring down the Syrian government) wants the UN to oust Israel from Syria.

Three, concerning Turkey’s participation in the Battle of Gog and Magog (a great war in the latter years and latter days): on Dec. 25, 2024, it was reported that the son of Turkey’s Prime Min. Erdogan called for Turkey to conquer the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

(My opinion: When the Battle of Gog and Magog takes place, God will destroy Turkey’s military along with the militaries of Russia, Iran, and several other Islamic groups. The defeat of those militaries will open the door for the rise of a world government. It will be a different day on planet Earth.)

Four, on Dec. 28, 2024, Israel’s Foreign Min. said the people ruling Syria are not people that have been elected to run the nation.

They are Islamic terrorists that have seized the government.

(More: On Dec. 29, 2024, Syria’s new leader said drafting a new constitution could take three years, and it might be four years before Syria could hold an election.)

Five, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Dec. 25, 2024, Israel’s Chief of Staff, Halevi, said,

  • Let Iran, its proxies, and the entire Middle East know that anyone who attempts to undermine the stability and security of the State of Israel, the IDF will stand firm against them.
  • Israel is ready to strike at any time and in any place.

(My opinion: Israel attacking Iran is not the Battle of Gog and Magog, but Iran retaliating with the help of Russia, Turkey, and other Islamic groups and nations would be.)

Six, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Dec. 26, 2024, it was reported that the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen have fired five ballistic missiles and five drones at Israel in the last ten days.

The head of Israel’s Mossad suggested that Israel should strike back at Iran instead of striking back at the Houthis.

It has been reported that Israel’s Prime Min. Netanyahu said, “Iran is a different issue which will be dealt with at the appropriate time.”

Seven, concerning anti-Semitism and corruption in the UN: on Dec. 27, 2024, the Houthis took responsibility for an overnight missile attack on Israel’s Ben Gurion airport.

The Houthis said the missiles hit their target, but Israel said they shot them down.

Anyway, on Dec. 28, 2024, UN Sec. Gen. Guterres blasted Israel for its recent retaliatory attacks on the Houthis without saying one word about the Houthis firing missiles at Israel.

(My opinion: The nations on planet Earth should have no part in a corrupt world government, but the day is coming when the entire planet is subjected to the most evil government that ever existed.)

Eight, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Dec. 27, 2024, the Prophecy News Watch (PNW) staff reported that,

  • Turkey is involved in reshaping the new Syrian government (sending in military and political advisors; helping with the restoration of Syria’s navy, air force, ground forces, etc.).
  • Turkey is showing an increased hostility to Israel (accusing Israel of breaking international law by committing genocide and being an occupying power in Gaza, presenting itself as a defender of the Palestinians, declaring Jerusalem a red line for Muslims, urging the international community to act against Israel, etc.).
  • Turkey’s relationship with Russia and Iran is growing.
  • Turkey has one of the most powerful and best-equipped military forces in NATO (355,000 active personnel, 378,000 reserves), and it has a strategic advantage by being closer to Israel than Russia and Iran are.
  • Erdogan has long expressed a desire to rebuild the Ottoman Empire.

All these things seem to be lining up with Ezekiel’s prophecy of the Battle of Gog and Magog in the latter days and latter years (Ezek. 38-39).

Nine, concerning world government: on Dec. 29, 2024, FobiddenNews Substack reported that King Charles III (in a Christmas Message to the world and to the UK that was posted on the official website of Buckingham Palace) said,

  • It is only by embracing a global framework – a true partnership of nations, as envisioned by the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset – that we can address the profound challenges before us.

For some unknown reason, later in the day, the posting was removed, and a videotaped watered-down version was broadcast.

But several people managed to get the original posting before it was removed.

According to the screenshot, King Charles III also said,

  • The time has come to face an undeniable truth: the concept of absolute sovereignty, as we long understood it, must evolve – indeed, it must be dismantled – for the good of humankind.
  • A unified global governance is not merely an ideal; it is a necessity if we are to safeguard the future of our planet and our people.
  • The time for half measures has passed. Our survival demands courage, cooperation, and a willingness to embrace transformative change. If we do not act decisively, we risk a future marked by fragmentation, instability, and despair.

There was also an announcement that King Charles III will host a global forum in early 2025, convening leaders, thinkers, and innovators to discuss the practical implementation of this shared vision.

A REMINDER

I am on record as saying the Bible teaches,

>That the world will be divided into ten regions at the end of the age.

>That a leader will be appointed (not elected) over each region.

>That the Bible calls these ten leaders the Ten Kings, and that the Ten Kings are a prelude to the rise of the Antichrist.

>That the process of creating regions is called regionalization (Google this).

>That the EU was selected to be the first region to rise, and its structure, laws and morals are the pattern for the other nine regions to follow. (Structuring the Ten Regions the same way will make it easier to merge them into a one-world government, and this makes King Charles III’s involvement and call for a global forum in early 2025 interesting.)

>That one of the other nine regions will be the North American Union (NAU; called continental integration, merging nations on the continent of North America), and this makes Trump’s statement about annexing Canada interesting).

>The transformation of the world from sovereign nations to a world government officially went into effect on Jan. 1, 2016, when the “Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” goals went into effect. UN Sec. Gen. Ban Ki-moon hailed it as the “start of a new era” and said there is now a “new universal agenda.”

>World leaders decided they would take 14 years (2016 to 2030) to transform every nation on earth and that hopefully the masses won’t rise up and oppose them; that we are now a little more than halfway through the transformation period, and we can expect the transformation to pick up pace and severity.

>This process of merging the ten regions into a one-world government is called global integration.

>This is part of Pres. Obama’s “fundamentally transforming the United States of America,” Pres. Biden’s “New World Order,” Klaus Schwab’s “Great Reset,” etc.

(My opinion: Some or all of the Ten Kings may be given power before the Rapture, but as far as I know, the Bible does not address that.)

Another reminder:

I am writing this on Jan. 1, 2025. We are now 3 ½ years from Israel’s 80th birthday – 1948-2028. In Psa. 90:10, the prayer of Moses says, “The days of our years are threescore years and ten [70 years]; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years [80 years], yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”

The length of a generation is debatable, but some prophecy teachers believe a generation is 70-80 years. They know that Jesus was talking about His Second Coming when He said, “Now learn a parable of the fig tree [Israel]; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled (Matt. 24:32-34). This may be another major indication that a new day is coming soon.

Despite US pressure: Israel refuses to transfer arms to Palestinian Authority, which continues to battle Iran-backed terrorists
Despite heavy pressure from the United States, Israel refuses to allow the transfer of weapons to the security forces of the Palestinian Authority (PA), which continue to battle terror groups across Judea and Samaria in a bid to re-establish control over the territory. According to a report from Army Radio, the U.S. requested that Israel approve the transfer of AK-47 Kalashnikov rifles, ammunition and armored vehicles. Appointed Times :: By Daymond Duck

The Bible clearly teaches that God has appointed times for things to happen.

For example:

>There is some disagreement over Methuselah’s name, but Dr. Henry Morris said it means “when he dies, judgment.” Methuselah lived 960 years (longer than anyone has ever lived; he died, and the world was destroyed with a Flood.

>God made a covenant with Abraham to give him and his descendants all the Promised Land at the end of the age, but His Word teaches that they would be put off the land three times (in Egypt, in Babylon, scattered all over the world) before they finally received permanent possession of it. God said they would be slaves in a foreign land 400 years (they were in Egypt 430 years (Gen. 15:13-16), and then He would afflict Egypt (Ten Plagues).

>God told Abraham the covenant would go through his son Isaac, who would be born at a set time in the next year (Gen. 17:21).

>God told Abraham his descendants would have to wait to occupy the Promised Land because the iniquity of the Amorites was not yet full (Gen. 15:16). Their sin had to pile up (accumulate) before God would remove them (before His judgment would fall; also see Psa. 75:8; Rev. 14:10; Rev. 17:4).

>God told the Jews to celebrate seven feast days at certain times (Lev. 23). Jesus was born on the first one (Passover), His body was in the grave on the second one (unleavened bread), He was raised from the dead on the third one (first fruits), the Church began on the fourth one (Pentecost), and many Christians believe major events will occur on the last three.

>Before God raised up Babylon to put the Jews off the land the second time, God used the prophet Jeremiah to tell the Jews they would be in Babylon 70 years, then Babylon would fall, and the Jews would return (Jer. 25:8-13; 29:10). Babylon fell when the hand wrote on the wall exactly 70 years after Babylon captured Judah. Then, the Jews were allowed to return home.

>Jesus had to come into the world as a baby (Isa. 6-7).

>Jesus had to appear (His Triumphal Entry) 483 years after a command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem (69 weeks of years = 483 years), and it had to be before Jerusalem and the Temple were destroyed again (70 A.D.; Dan. 9:25; Neh. 2:1-8).

>Jesus came into the world the first time at God’s appointed time (Gal. 4:4-7).

>The Tribulation Period cannot begin until God removes the restrainer (II Thess. 2:5-12).

>God has an appointed time for His Second Coming and the Millennium (Dan. 8:19-26).

>God raised Jesus from the dead to assure us that He will come back at an appointed time to judge the world (Acts 17:30-31).

More than 100 specifically different prophecies had to be fulfilled, but just know that Jesus is the only one to ever fulfill all of them, Jesus fulfilled all of them at God’s appointed time, and His timing was perfect (Matt. 5:18; Luke 24:44).

Know also that God reveals what is going to happen before it happens (Amos 3:7), and He put these things in the Bible and told His people to watch for them (Matt. 24:42-51; Mark 13:33; Luke 12: 35-40; Luke 21:34-36).

Many prophecy writers, including myself, believe these things indicate that the appointed time for this world to be judged (the Tribulation Period) is close.

Here are some recent indicators that seem to indicate that.

One, concerning the failure of the UN wannabe world government: on Dec. 18, 2024, the brother of one of the Oct. 7, 2023 hostages being held by Hamas was invited to address the UN Security Council, and he said,

  • For every day this council fails to act, the message to the world is clear: Some lives are worth saving, and others are not.
  • This is not merely a political issue. This is a human issue, a moral issue.
  • I want to ask every member of this council: What would you do if it was your child, your brother, your loved one?
  • Hamas’ actions are not just blatant violations of international law; they are an assault on humanity itself.
  • Holding civilians hostage – men, women, and children – is a violation of the principles that this very council was created to protect, and yet, your silence is deafening.

God’s judgment is coming,

He has appointed a time to replace the corrupt anti-Semitic UN with the government of Antichrist, and His wrath will fall.

Two, concerning a United Nations (UN) wannabe world government: in the year 2000, the American Policy Center (APC) pushed a bill to get the U.S. out of the UN (United Nothing), but the bill failed.

On Dec. 23, 2024, it was reported that two members of Congress have introduced the DEFUND Act (Disengaging Entirely From the United Nations Debacle!).

If passed, the bill would:

  • Terminate U.S. membership in the UN and all affiliated bodies, conventions, and agreements.
  • Stop all funds to any UN body.
  • Prohibit U.S. participation in UN peacekeeping operations.
  • Throw the UN headquarters out of the U.S.
  • And end U.S. membership in the World Health Organization!

We know that there will be a fundamental change in world government at the appointed time, and passing this bill could be a spark that leads to that.

(My opinion: There will be a fundamental change in world government at the appointed time after the Rapture, so we need to be sure we are Rapture Ready.)

Three, concerning wars and rumors of wars and Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons: on Dec. 18, 2024, it was reported that the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) warned that,

  • Reviving a nuclear deal with Iran is no longer useful because Iran is on the verge of having nuclear weapons.

Be aware that Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu and Pres.-elect Trump have been discussing a pre-emptive strike on Iran’s nuclear weapons facilities.

(My opinion: The Bible seems to indicate that nuclear weapons will be used during the Tribulation Period (Zech. 14:12; Rev. 6:14), but they will probably be used against nations, not Israel. One nuclear bomb would probably destroy the tiny nation of Israel, but Israel cannot be destroyed.)

Four, concerning wars and rumors of wars and Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons: on Dec. 22, 2024, it was reported that:

  • Iran’s position has weakened following Israeli strikes on its proxies: Hamas, Hezbollah, and the fall of the Iran-aligned Syrian president.
  • The White House has warned Pres.-elect Trump that Iran could move to build a nuclear bomb.
  • Trump should be vigilant for the threat of nuclear escalation.

Five, concerning Syria being taken over by several different terrorist groups supported by Turkey and supposedly following a group called Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS): Israel moved in and took over the buffer zone between Syria and Israel, the Syrian side of a strategic mountain called Mt. Hermon, and positions on the Golan Heights to protect Jewish settlements there.

Now, several nations are accusing Israel of seizing Arab land and trying to occupy Syria.

They want the UN (who never did one thing about the Russians, Iranians, or Turkey taking over Syrian land) to kick Israel out.

Israel denies the charge and says,

  • The buffer zone was an agreement between Syria and Israel, but the collapse of Syria means Syria can no longer enforce the agreement.
  • Israel will not accept the presence of terrorists in the buffer zone or terrorists firing at Jews on the Golan Heights.
  • Israel is willing to return to its border when there is a government in Syria that is willing to protect Israel’s interests.

We know that God has an appointed time for another attack on Israel (a war on the mountains of Israel called the Battle of Gog and Magog in the latter days and latter years).

Six, God said the Jews walk and harvest fruit on the mountains of Israel again at the end of the age (Ezek. 36).

In the 1967 six-day war, Israel captured the Golan Heights from Syria.

In 2019, Pres. Trump recognized the Golan Heights as part of Israel.

On June 16, 2019, Israel announced it would establish a community called Trump Towers on the Golan Heights to honor Pres. Trump for recognizing that the Golan Heights are part of Israel.

On Dec. 24, 2024, it was reported the community called Trump Towers has a population of 50-100 Jews, but there is a waiting list of 2,000 Jews that have signed up to relocate there, and it is turning into a popular tourist site.

On Dec. 24, 2024, it was also reported that the election of Pres. Trump has spurred more interest by Jews to relocate there, and Prime Min. Netanyahu said he wants to boost the population of the Golan Heights to 100,000 Jews for security reasons.

Because the elevation of the mountains is 8-9,000 feet, the weather on Mt. Hermon and the Golan Heights will soon get extremely cold, so Israel has already started opening new routes and moving tons of construction materials, communication equipment, food, water, medical supplies, thermal clothing, ski equipment, etc. to military outposts there.

Israel has also notified the terrorists that have taken over the Syrian government that Israel intends to stay there.

(My opinion: This is clearly a fulfillment of God’s Word and that the appointed time of the end is near.)

Seven, concerning Israel’s prosperity (cattle and goods, silver and gold, a great spoil; Ezek. 38:13) in the latter days and latter years: on Dec. 24, 2024, it was reported that foreign investments in Israel increased 15% in the first half of this year despite Israel being at war on multiple fronts.)

Eight, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog (Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others attacking Israel) and Jerusalem being a cup of trembling and a burdensome stone for the entire world at the end of the age: in a speech to a group of young people on Dec. 21, 2024, Turkey’s Pres. Erdogan repeated his four-year-old promise to conquer Jerusalem.

Nine, concerning Syria, Iran, and Hezbollah: on Dec. 22, 2024, al-Julani, the temporary leader of the Turkish-sponsored group called HTS (that has taken over Syria), said he will not allow Iranian planes to enter Syrian airspace.

Al-Julani said he has committed to not allowing terrorist groups to pose a threat both within Syria and externally to the U.S. and its regional partners (Israel, Kurds, etc.).

This is great news if al-Julani will keep his word and stay in office because Iranian planes have been flying across Syria with weapons, ammunition, troops, etc., to prop up Hezbollah in Lebanon.

(More: al-Julani is presenting himself as a moderate in Syria, but in the past, he has presented himself as a man that wants to bring all religions under Islamic rule. Who is the real al-Julani?)

(More: Armed and masked Islamic terrorists from a group that helped al-Julani burned a large Christmas tree that had been erected in a city near Damascus. They also banned Christians from celebrating Christmas. Christians protested by marching in the streets of Damascus, and Al-Julani apologized for the incident.)

Ten, concerning Israel being a great army at the end of the age: on Dec. 22, 2024, a newspaper in Saudi Arabia reported that:

  • A Hamas official has admitted that Israel has neutralized most of Hamas’ military capabilities.
  • Some Hamas groups falsely claim success in some areas, but the facts say otherwise.
  • It is a mistake to believe the false claims and lies of the defeated.

Eleven, concerning the potential economic collapse of America: on Dec. 22, 2024, Pres. Biden signed a Continuing Resolution to fund government spending until March.

There were 1,547 pages in the bill when it was first introduced in the House.

Pres.-elect Trump and Elon Musk strongly condemned it, and it failed to pass.

When it passed in the U.S. Senate, it had 118 pages in it.

Put another way, 1,429 pages of bad legislation and unnecessary spending were removed.

The past practice has been to pass the bills to find out what was in them, and that has contributed greatly to the economic mess America is in.

Twelve, concerning the moral and economic decline of America: on Dec. 23, 2024, it was reported that federal records show that Biden’s State Dept. spent the following this year:

  • Columbia—$6 million to help LGBTQI+ refugees and immigrants.
  • Peru—$2 million on sustainable solutions for LGBT migrants and refugees.
  • Italy—slightly more than $25,000 to help LGBTQI+ migrants to overcome linguistic, cultural, and social barriers to integration.
  • Costa Rica—$310,000 to provide LGBT migrants with training, certification, psychosocial and legal assistance.”
  • Panama—an unreported amount to make Panama more pro-LGBT.
  • Kanya, Malawi, Mexico, Greece, and Ecuador—unreported amounts on an assortment of programs for gays.

(My opinion: I pray that former Pres. Obama’s “fundamental transformation of America” is over.)

(More: On this same date – Dec. 23, 2024 – Sen. Rand Paul released a report documenting more than one trillion dollars of government waste this year.)

Thirteen, it was recently reported that the U.S. will exit the globalist World Health Organization (WHO) on Day one of Pres.-elect Trump’s new administration taking power.

The U.S. is the WHO’s largest single donor.

This is bad news for the WHO, but it is great news for America.

Here is my daily update on the Israel-Hamas war.

(Note: I am seriously considering a reduction in reporting on this because, for all practical purposes, Israel has defeated Hamas.)

Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024 (day 439), The three hundred and eighty-third day of the resumed war. Day 217 of the attack on Rafah.

  • Israel’s Gen. Halevi said, “We are dismantling Hamas and targeting its infrastructure and forces to ensure that there will never be another Oct. 7.”
  • Israel’s Finance Min. Bezalel Smotrich said, “Hamas is at its weakest point since the war began. This is not the moment to offer it any reprieve. We must continue to apply pressure and defeat it, ensuring that the hostages are returned under terms that demonstrate its surrender, not ours.”

Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024 (day 440), The three hundred and eighty-fourth day of the resumed war. Day 218 of the attack on Rafah.

  • After the Houthis fired a missile toward Israel, Israeli jets struck several Houthi targets in Yemen.

Friday, Dec. 20, 2024 (day 441), The three hundred and eighty-fifth day of the resumed war. Day 219 of the attack on Rafah.

  • Netanyahu said he will not end the war in Gaza before Hamas is removed from power.

Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024 (day 442), The three hundred and eighty-sixth day of the resumed war. Day 220 of the attack on Rafah.

  • The Houthis fired a missile at Tel Aviv, and sixteen people were slightly injured.

Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024 (day 443), The three hundred and eighty-seventh day of the resumed war. Day 221 of the attack on Rafah.

  • Israel’s Defense Min. said Israel will crush Hezbollah’s head if Hezbollah violates their ceasefire agreement.
  • Israel destroyed a terrorist command center in a school in Gaza.

Monday, Dec. 23, 2024 (day 444), The three hundred and eighty-eighth day of the resumed war. Day 222 of the attack on Rafah.

  • Israel has captured 18,000 Hezbollah weapons at villages on its border with Lebanon.

Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024, (day 445) The three hundred and eighty-ninth day of the resumed war. Day 223 of the attack on Rafah.

  • It was reported that Israel will start targeting Houthi rebel leaders in Yemen to stop the Iranian-backed terrorists from firing missiles at Israel.
