As They Cry Out “Peace And Safety”, All I See Is More War… | The Economic Collapse

They keep telling us that we have entered a time of peace, but more conflict just continues to erupt all over the globe.  Israel has just resumed ground operations against Hamas, President Trump is threatening to keep bombing the Houthis until they are “completely annihilated”,  we are being told that “something’s going to happen” with Iran very soon, and the very limited agreement between the Russians and the Ukrainians to avoid striking energy infrastructure did not even last 24 hours.  Compared to last week, do we have more war or less war?  Clearly, we have more war.  So you will have to excuse me if I am skeptical of those that are crying out that a time of “peace and safety” is now upon us.

The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was supposed to lead to a permanent resolution of the conflict.

But instead, the ceasefire is now dead and the war is back on

The Israeli military said on Wednesday its forces have resumed ground operations in the central and southern Gaza Strip, as a second day of airstrikes killed at least 20 Palestinians, according to local health workers.

The renewed ground operations come a day after more than 400 Palestinians were killed in airstrikes in one of the deadliest episodes since the beginning of the conflict, shattering a ceasefire that has largely held since January.

The Israeli military said its operations have extended Israel’s control over the Netzarim Corridor, which bisects Gaza, and were a “focused” manoeuvre aimed at creating a partial buffer zone between the north and the south of the enclave.

Israel wants the remainder of the hostages to be released.

After all this time, Hamas is still refusing to do that.

One Israeli official is warning that if Hamas continues to hold on to the hostages, military operations will escalate “to the point of total war”

“We’re in a new phase of the conflict,” the official said. “From here we either move forward with developments towards the release of additional hostages – which is a major goal – or there’ll be consistent escalations to the point of total war,” the official said.

Meanwhile, the U.S. is now at war with the Houthis in Yemen.

During the last administration, Joe Biden would lightly strike the Houthis once in a while, but now President Trump is pledging that “the Houthi barbarians” will be “completely annihilated”

Reports are coming in that while Iran has lessened its intensity on Military Equipment and General Support to the Houthis, they are still sending large levels of Supplies. Iran must stop the sending of these Supplies IMMEDIATELY. Let the Houthis fight it out themselves. Either way they lose, but this way they lose quickly. Tremendous damage has been inflicted upon the Houthi barbarians, and watch how it will get progressively worse — It’s not even a fair fight, and never will be. They will be completely annihilated!

A few days earlier, U.S. Secretary of State told CBS News that we are “doing the entire world a favor by getting rid of these guys”

“We’re doing the entire world a favor by getting rid of these guys and their ability to strike global shipping. That’s the mission here, and it will continue until that’s carried out,” he said. “That never happened before. The Biden administration didn’t do that. All the Biden administration would do is they would respond to an attack. These guys would launch one rocket. We’d hit the rocket launcher. That’s it.”

What kind of a military campaign will be required to completely eliminate the Houthis?

I would encourage everyone out there to seriously consider the answer to that question.

The last time I checked, the U.S. Constitution requires congressional approval before we declare war on someone.

Of course we are rapidly getting close to a major war with Iran as well.

During a recent discussion with reporters, President Trump promised that “something’s going to happen very soon”

As Iran nears the finish line to obtain nuclear weapons, US President Trump is warning that the world is down to its “final moments” to intervene. While expressing his preference for a peace deal over military action, Trump maintained that significant developments are imminent.

“U.S. President Donald Trump hinted [earlier this month] that the United States could take military action against the Iranian nuclear program ‘very soon’ if the Islamic Republic does not strike a deal with the United States,” The Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) reported. “Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump said that there would be ‘interesting days ahead’ with respect to Iran.”

President Trump went on to tell reporters: “We’re down to final strokes with Iran. We’re down to the final moments. We’re at the final moments. Can’t let them have a nuclear weapon. We have a situation with Iran that something’s going to happen very soon—very, very soon. Hopefully, we could have a peace deal. I’m not speaking out of strength or weakness. I’m just saying, I’d rather see a peace deal than the other, but the other will solve the problem.”

Iran has already said that there will be no deal.

So it is just a matter of time before the bombing of Iran begins, and then we will officially be at war with the Iranians.

But at least we are close to a peace deal with the Russians, right?

Actually, no we are not.

Less than 24 hours after President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to end attacks on energy infrastructure for 30 days, the Ukrainians launched a drone attack against a Russian oil transfer facility

Less than 24 hours later, Russia has accused Ukraine of already breaking the Trump agreement. Russia’s defense ministry on Wednesday said Ukraine attack an oil transfer facility in Russia’s Krasnodar Region that services an international pipeline operation partially owned by American investors.

The ministry described that the overnight attack saw three kimikaze drones target the site near the village of Kavkazskaya. The site transfers crude to a pipeline operated by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), an international firm which has among its partners US giants Chevron and Mobil, Russia’s RT notes.

The drone impact reportedly set fire to an oil reservoir, which has reportedly taken emergency crews a long time to extinguish. Local reports say crews are still battling the blaze.

In response, the Russians bombed energy infrastructure in the Ukrainian city of Slovyansk

Russian forces have bombed a key piece of Ukraine energy infrastructure just hours after Vladimir Putin told Donald Trump he would halt attacks on the grid.

Slovyansk, a city in the Donetsk region, was targeted according to local reports, leaving part of the city without electricity.

There had been hope that an agreement not to attack energy infrastructure could be a step toward a broader deal.

But the truth is that the two sides are light years apart from agreeing to any sort of a permanent deal.

The Russians are insisting that the four eastern territories that the Russians have annexed are now a part of Russia forever

Russia’s privately owned Kommersant business newspaper reports that President Putin is pushing his US counterpart to grant recognition of Russia’s annexation of the four territories in exchange for a pledge not to seize more land.

Kommersant says that Putin is fundamentally arguing that “there’s no taking back what Russia has gained” – and that the eastern territories are now permanently part of the Russian Federation.

On the other side, “President Z” is demanding that the Russians return all Ukrainian territory that has been captured in exchange for a deal…

In a press conference with President Stubb of Finland in Helsinki today, the Ukrainian president said: ‘We’re fighting for our sovereignty and our independence — we’ll win this war.’

Zelensky drew clear red lines for peace, insisting that his nation would not accept territorial losses as part of a peace deal, and that the return of ‘thousands’ of prisoners held in Russia was ‘unconditional’.

The Russians aren’t going to give the territory that they have captured back.

Anyone that thinks that is going to happen is just being delusional.

The Russians are winning the war and they are constantly gobbling up even more territory.

Any peace agreement must reflect the reality on the ground.

Since the Ukrainians and our European allies are not willing to accept that, I am convinced that there will be no permanent agreement.

But if these negotiations fail, this conflict will almost certainly go to an entirely new level.

During an interview with Laura Ingraham, President Trump admitted that U.S. forces could potentially end up being involved if a deal with Russia cannot be reached…

Trump suggested that his push for a broader cease-fire is rooted in keeping US forces out of a potentially larger conflict.

“Look, we’re doing this – there are no Americans involved. There could be if you end up in World War III over this, which is so ridiculous,” the president explained.

“But, you know, strange things happen,” he warned.

I certainly hope that “strange things” do not happen.

Most Americans would like to see peace in the Middle East and most Americans would like to see peace with Russia.

But instead we just keep getting more war.

We have been warned about what will happen if we keep going down this road.

Once someone decides to start using nuclear weapons, we could potentially see millions of people die.

One explosion is all it is going to take for everyone to put their fingers on their triggers.

If we were smart, we would be racing toward peace.

Unfortunately, for now we are steamrolling in the opposite direction.

TRUMP-PUTIN CALL: Full Readouts by the White House and the Kremlin – Plus: Reaction by the Press and on Social Media – Trump Reflects on Peace Process With Fox News’ Ingraham | The Gateway Pundit

Trump and Putin: history in the making.

History in the making: on March 18th, 2025, Presidents Donald J. Trump and Vladimir Putin spoke on the phone for over two and a half hours – a record between the US and Russia heads of state.

What follows below is a gathering of the official readouts from the White House and the Kremlin, as well as a few headlines and social media posts.

White House’ readout on Trump’s call to Putin:

“Trump and President Putin spoke about the need for peace and a cease-fire in the war in Ukraine. Both leaders agreed that the conflict must end with a lasting peace. They also emphasized the need to improve bilateral relations between the United States and Russia.

The leaders agreed that movement toward peace will begin with an energy and infrastructure ceasefire, as well as technical negotiations to realize a maritime ceasefire in the Black Sea, a full ceasefire, and permanent peace. These negotiations will begin immediately in the Middle East.

The leaders spoke broadly about the Middle East as a region of potential cooperation to prevent future conflicts. Both leaders agreed that Iran should never be able to destroy Israel.

Both leaders agreed that a future with improved bilateral relations between the United States and Russia has tremendous potential. This includes huge economic deals and geopolitical stability when peace is achieved.”

Full readout by the Kremlin: Telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump

“The leaders continued a detailed and frank exchange of views on the situation around Ukraine. Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude to Donald Trump for his desire to help achieve the noble goal of ending hostilities and human losses.

Having confirmed his fundamental commitment to a peaceful resolution of the conflict, the Russian President declared his readiness to work together with his American partners to thoroughly explore possible ways of resolving the conflict, which should be comprehensive, sustainable and long-term. And, of course, to take into account the absolute need to eliminate the root causes of the crisis, and Russia’s legitimate interests in the area of security.

In the context of the US President’s initiative to introduce a 30-day ceasefire, the Russian side outlined a number of significant points concerning ensuring effective control over a possible ceasefire along the entire line of combat contact, the need to stop forced mobilization in Ukraine and rearm the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Serious risks associated with the inability to negotiate of the Kyiv regime, which has repeatedly sabotaged and violated the agreements reached, were also noted. Attention was drawn to the barbaric terrorist crimes committed by Ukrainian militants against the civilian population of the Kursk region.

It was emphasized that the key condition for preventing the escalation of the conflict and working towards its resolution through political and diplomatic means should be the complete cessation of foreign military aid and the provision of intelligence information to Kyiv.

In connection with Donald Trump’s recent appeal to spare the lives of Ukrainian servicemen surrounded in the Kursk region, Vladimir Putin confirmed that the Russian side is ready to be guided by humanitarian considerations and, in the event of their surrender, guarantees the lives and decent treatment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers in accordance with Russian laws and international law.

During the conversation, Donald Trump put forward a proposal for the parties to the conflict to mutually refrain from attacks on energy infrastructure facilities for 30 days. Vladimir Putin responded positively to this initiative and immediately gave the Russian military the corresponding order.

The Russian President also responded constructively to Donald Trump’s idea of implementing a well-known initiative concerning the safety of navigation in the Black Sea. It was agreed to begin negotiations to further elaborate specific details of such an agreement.

Vladimir Putin informed that on March 19, a prisoner exchange of 175 for 175 people will be carried out between the Russian and Ukrainian sides. In addition, as a gesture of goodwill, 23 seriously wounded Ukrainian servicemen who are being treated in Russian medical institutions will be transferred.

The leaders confirmed their intention to continue efforts to achieve a Ukrainian settlement in a bilateral mode, including taking into account the above-mentioned proposals of the US President. For this purpose, Russian and American expert groups are being created.

Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump also touched upon other issues on the international agenda, including the situation in the Middle East and the Red Sea region. Joint efforts will be made to stabilize the situation in crisis areas, establish cooperation on nuclear non-proliferation and global security. This, in turn, will contribute to improving the overall atmosphere of Russian-American relations. One positive example is the joint vote in the UN on the resolution on the Ukrainian conflict.

Mutual interest in normalizing bilateral relations was expressed in light of the special responsibility of Russia and the United States for ensuring security and stability in the world. In this context, a wide range of areas in which our countries could establish interaction was considered. A number of ideas were discussed that are moving towards the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the economy and energy sector.

Donald Trump supported Vladimir Putin’s idea to organize hockey matches in the USA and Russia between Russian and American players playing in the NHL and KHL.

The presidents agreed to remain in contact on all issues raised.”

Trump’s Truth Social post:

“My phone conversation today with President Putin of Russia was a very good and productive one.

We agreed to an immediate Ceasefire on all Energy and Infrastructure, with an understanding that we will be working quickly to have a Complete Ceasefire and, ultimately, an END to this very horrible War between Russia and Ukraine. This War would have never started if I were President!

Many elements of a Contract for Peace were discussed, including the fact that thousands of soldiers are being killed, and both President Putin and President Zelenskyy would like to see it end.

That process is now in full force and effect, and we will, hopefully, for the sake of Humanity, get the job done!”

Some headlines about the call:

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev makes reference to the saying: ‘in a negotiation, if you are not at the table, you are in the menu’:

Putin-Trump phone call: Key takeaways | RT

The Russian and US leaders have discussed the prospect of a settlement of the Ukraine conflict and improving bilateral ties

Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump held a much-anticipated phone call on Tuesday, discussing a potential settlement of the Ukraine conflict. The conversation lasted for two and a half hours, with both the White House and the Kremlin describing it as positive. Here are the key takeaways from the conversation.

Potential ceasefire

Putin and Trump discussed Trump’s idea of a 30-day ceasefire, with the Russian side outlining multiple issues to be resolved before its implementation, the Kremlin press service said in a statement following the call. Namely, Putin outlined the need to establish a mechanism to properly monitor a potential ceasefire, as well as stop forced mobilization and rearmament in Ukraine.

“Serious risks associated with the Kiev regime’s inability to negotiate, which has repeatedly sabotaged and violated the agreements reached, were also noted,” the Kremlin press service said, adding that Putin also drew Trump’s attention to “the barbaric terrorist crimes committed by Ukrainian militants against the civilian population of Kursk Region.”

Infrastructure strikes pause

Trump proposed that Moscow and Kiev mutually halt strikes on energy infrastructure facilities for 30 days. Putin backed the idea, immediately giving the Russian military the corresponding order.

“The leaders agreed that the movement to peace will begin with an energy and infrastructure ceasefire, as well as technical negotiations on implementation of a maritime ceasefire in the Black Sea, full ceasefire and permanent peace. These negotiations will begin immediately in the Middle East,” the White House said in a statement.

Prisoner swap

The Russian president told his American counterpart about an upcoming prisoner swap with Ukraine, scheduled for Wednesday, the Kremlin press service revealed. The two sides are set to exchange 175 prisoners-of-war each. In addition, Moscow will return 23 critically wounded Ukrainian servicemen to demonstrate its goodwill, the press service noted.

Need for lasting peace

Putin and Trump reaffirmed their commitment to achieving a “lasting peace” rather than a temporary solution for the Ukraine conflict. Moscow regards the need to “eliminate the root causes of the crisis,” as well as meet “Russia’s legitimate interests in the area of security” and “the complete cessation of foreign military aid and the provision of intelligence information to Kiev,” as key elements required to achieve the goal, the Kremlin press service noted.

Bilateral cooperation

Ties between Russia and the US were also discussed, with both agreeing to work on mutually beneficial projects. Washington and Moscow have been considering a “broad spectrum of areas where our two countries may establish cooperation,” the Kremlin press service stated.

“The two leaders agreed that a future with an improved bilateral relationship between the United States and Russia has huge upside. This includes enormous economic deals and geopolitical stability when peace has been achieved,” the White House said.

The two leaders addressed key issues, including a proposed 30-day ceasefire, a prisoner exchange, and maritime security

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump have held a phone conversation lasting over two hours, discussing a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict.

The Kremlin reported that the two leaders spoke about a suggested 30-day ceasefire, a prisoner exchange, and maritime security, with Putin responding positively to Trump’s proposals. Both leaders expressed interest in normalizing US-Russia relations, agreeing to continue discussions on global security, economic cooperation, and even cultural exchanges like NHL-KHL hockey matches.

The Kremlin has published a summary on the outcome of the call:

A phone conversation between Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump took place on March 18, 2025.

Reaffirming his commitment to a peaceful resolution of the conflict, President Putin expressed readiness to work closely with American partners on a thorough and comprehensive settlement. He emphasized that any agreement must be sustainable and long-term, addressing the root causes of the crisis while considering Russia’s legitimate security interests.

Regarding President Trump’s initiative for a 30-day ceasefire, the Russian side highlighted key concerns, including effective monitoring of the ceasefire across the entire front line, halting forced mobilization in Ukraine, and stopping the rearmament of its military. Russia also noted serious risks due to Kiev’s history of undermining previous agreements and drew attention to terrorist attacks carried out by Ukrainian militants against civilians in the Kursk region.

It was emphasized that a crucial condition for preventing further escalation and working toward a political-diplomatic resolution is the complete cessation of foreign military aid and intelligence sharing with Ukraine.

In response to Trump’s recent request to ensure the safety of Ukrainian troops encircled in Kursk Region, Putin confirmed that Russia is guided by humanitarian considerations. He assured his counterpart that Ukrainian soldiers who surrender will be granted safety and treated in accordance with Russian laws and international humanitarian norms.

During the conversation, Trump proposed a mutual agreement between both sides to refrain from striking energy infrastructure for 30 days. Putin welcomed the initiative and immediately instructed the Russian military to comply.

Putin also responded constructively to Trump’s proposal regarding maritime security in the Black Sea, and both leaders agreed to initiate negotiations to further refine the details of such an arrangement.

Putin informed Trump that on March 19, Russia and Ukraine would conduct a prisoner exchange involving 175 detainees from each side. Additionally, as a goodwill gesture, Russia will transfer 23 severely wounded Ukrainian soldiers who are currently receiving medical treatment in Russian hospitals.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continuing efforts toward resolving the Ukraine conflict bilaterally, incorporating the proposals discussed. To facilitate this, Russian and American expert groups will be established.

Putin and Trump also discussed broader international issues, including the situation in the Middle East and the Red Sea region. They agreed to coordinate efforts to stabilize crisis areas and enhance cooperation on nuclear non-proliferation and global security, which, in turn, would improve the overall state of US-Russia relations. A positive example of such cooperation was their joint vote at the United Nations on a resolution regarding the Ukraine conflict.

Both leaders expressed mutual interest in normalizing bilateral relations, recognizing the shared responsibility of Russia and the United States in ensuring global security and stability. In this context, they explored various areas for potential cooperation, including discussions on mutually beneficial economic and energy partnerships.

Trump supported Putin’s idea of organizing hockey matches in the US and Russia between players from the NHL and KHL.

The presidents agreed to remain in contact on all discussed matters.

Why Does Hardly Anyone Seem To Realize That We Are Literally On The Brink Of War With Iran? | The Economic Collapse

What do think Iran is going to do once we start bombing their nuclear facilities?  They know that it is coming, and they have been preparing to respond.  When Iranian missiles are raining down on Israeli targets and U.S. military bases throughout the Middle East, there will be no turning back.  We will officially be at war with Iran.  Needless to say, a war with Iran would be far different from our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.  The Iranians have the 8th largest military on the entire planet, and they are armed to the teeth with highly advanced missiles.  It would take a “shock and awe” campaign that is unlike anything we have ever seen before to subdue Iran, and full-blown regime change would probably require an invasion.

Most people simply do not realize how close we are to an apocalyptic scenario in the Middle East.  On Friday, President Trump revealed that he has issued a very chilling ultimatum to the Iranians…

President Donald Trump on Friday revealed that he has sent a letter to Iran warning that it can either “make a deal” with Washington, D.C., on its nuclear program or face the U.S. “militarily.”

“I said, I hope you’re going to negotiate, because it’s going to be a lot better for Iran,” Trump told FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo on “Mornings with Maria,” in reference to a letter he sent to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

“There are two ways Iran can be handled: militarily, or you make a deal,” he said. “I would prefer to make a deal, because I’m not looking to hurt Iran.”

Subsequently, President Trump informed reporters that were gathered in the Oval Office that “something’s going to happen” with Iran “very, very soon”

US President Donald Trump said on Friday that something related to Iran is “going to happen very soon”.

“We have a situation with Iran that something’s going to happen very soon, very, very soon. You’ll be talking about that pretty soon, I guess,” Trump told reporters at the Oval Office.

“And hopefully we can have a peace deal,” he added. “You know, I’m not speaking out of strength or weakness. I’m just saying I’d rather see a peace deal than the other [option], but the other will solve the problem.”

I know that President Trump would prefer to make a peace deal with the Iranians.

But the Iranians are already ruling out any sort of a deal…

The letter appeared to have been addressed to Iran’s supreme leader, the 85-year-old Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has recently opposed negotiations with the US so long as economic sanctions are in force.

The Iranian foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, responded by saying: “We will not enter any direct negotiations with the US so long as they continue their maximum pressure policy and their threats.”

And there are rumors on social media that the Iranians are threatening to destroy all U.S. bases in the region if they get attacked…

Iran has issued a final warning to the US and Israel through Saudi Arabia.

An attack on Iran is tantamount to the destruction of all US bases in the region and the destruction of all Israeli nuclear facilities.

This is a crisis that should have been dealt with during the Biden administration.

At this point, the Iranian nuclear program has advanced to a very alarming stage

Rafael Grossi, the International Atomic Energy Agency director, told the IAEA board this week that Iran’s stockpile of uranium enriched to 60% had reached 275kg. He said: “Iran is the only country that enriches uranium to this level without having nuclear weapons.”

That quote stunned me.

Nobody can deny what the Iranians are attempting to do.

If they stay on the path that they are on, it won’t be too long before they are able to produce multiple nuclear weapons

The U.N.’s nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency, has repeatedly warned in recent months that Iran is pushing forward in its development of near-nuclear-grade uranium and now possesses enough uranium, if further enriched, to develop five nuclear weapons.

President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have both repeatedly stated that Iran will never be allowed to produce a nuclear weapon.

And since Iran is not willing to make a deal with Trump, it is only a matter of time before the bombing of Iran begins.

Needless to say, all hell will break loose once that happens.

Meanwhile, the U.S. is no longer providing intelligence to Ukraine, and President Trump has suspended all shipments of military aid in an attempt to force the Ukrainians to the negotiating table.  When he was asked about this during an interview that aired on Sunday, he suggested that Ukraine “may not survive anyway”

President Trump suggested that Ukraine might not be able to survive against Russia even if the US forged ahead with full-blown support for its fight.

Trump’s remarks came while defending his decision to draw down support to Ukraine in the face of Polish President Andrzej Duda’s and others’ concerns that Europe lacks the might to prop up Kyiv without the US.

“Well, it may not survive anyway,” Trump told Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” in an interview that aired Sunday.

The Russians already had the upper hand, and now their troops are surging forward.

On Friday, it was being reported that three-quarters of the Ukrainian force in Kursk is “almost entirely surrounded”

The fuse has been burning slowly, but Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s risky August invasion of Russia’s Kursk region is about to blow up in his face in spectacular fashion — as thousands of Ukrainian soldiers are suddenly in imminent peril of being encircled, according to open source intelligence analysts. The crisis comes as Zelensky is under increasing US pressure to reach a negotiated end to the war — and a loss of captured Russian territory promises to make his already-deteriorated bargaining position even weaker.

According to DeepStateMAP.live, an interactive map of the war run by Ukrainian military bloggers, their country’s forces in Kursk are nearly cleaved into two, with roughly three-quarters of Ukraine’s forces in Russia almost entirely surrounded on Friday. Their last connection between the two forces was a kilometer long and under 500 meters wide at its thinnest section.

It isn’t just Ukrainian soldiers that are in danger of being cut off in Kursk.

There are apparently lots of western mercenaries there too, and at this moment they are being pounded into oblivion.

On Sunday, the Russians captured several more settlements

Russia’s defense ministry on Sunday said troops took back the settlements of Malaya Loknya, Cherkasskoye Porechnoye and Kositsa from Ukrainian forces.

“The lid of the smoking caldron is practically closed,” Dmitry Medvedev, the former Russian president who is now the deputy chairman of the country’s Security Council, said on Sunday of Russian advances in Kursk. “The offensive continues. Carry on!”

Ukrainian and Russian military bloggers warn Kyiv’s hold on the region is more tenuous than ever, with Russian troops backed by North Korean forces launching incessant attacks.

Once the Russians have cleared out Kursk, they may use it as a launching pad to initiate an offensive in the direction of Kyiv.

So we will want to watch this area of the front very closely.

The Ukrainians have been caught off guard by how aggressive the Russians have been in recent days.  In one operation, Russian special forces actually “walked inside a gas pipeline to strike Ukrainian units from the rear”

Russian special forces walked inside a gas pipeline to strike Ukrainian units from the rear in the Kursk region, Ukraine’s military and Russian war bloggers reported, as Moscow claimed fresh gains in its push to recapture parts of the border province that Kyiv seized in a shock offensive.

Many of our European allies are very frustrated with President Trump’s efforts to force Ukraine to the negotiating table because those efforts are hurting the Ukrainians on the battlefield.

But the truth is that President Trump is also trying to force Russia to the negotiating table…https://www.youtube.com/embed/maG9W9ldOfE?si=NJXyx1UWkfAo5wRB

I do not believe that threatening Russia is the correct approach.

In fact, I believe that if President Trump continues to threaten Russia it will backfire severely.

We have entered such a dangerous chapter of human history.  As Steve Bannon has astutely observed, we are “already deep into the kinetic part of the third World War”

Bannon went on to explain that the casualties amassed in the Ukraine and Gaza conflicts have already exceeded the total deaths in the first phase of World War II, including the invasion of Poland, the fall of France and the Blitz over England.

“The world’s on the brink. We’re already deep into the kinetic part of the third World War,” Bannon asserted.

I really wish that more people understood this.

Bannon says that some portions of Ukraine “look like Dresden in 1945”, and he is 100 percent correct about that…

“Parts of Ukraine look like Dresden in 1945. You’re in a kinetic war right now that’s every bit as dangerous and every bit as brutal, if not more brutal, than the opening phase of World War 2,” he added.

Hundreds of thousands of Russians are already dead.

More than a million Ukrainians are already dead.

In the Middle East, we have already seen a tremendous amount of death and destruction, and now a final showdown with Iran is looming.

What will it take for people to finally wake up?

World War 3 is here, and once the bombing of Iran begins that will ramp things up to an entirely new level.

The Democratic Party Zelenskyy Cartel :: By Bill Wilson

The Marxist Democratic Party and mainstream media meltdown over President Trump standing up for America on Ukraine likely has a far deeper meaning than just Ukraine security. The US has given Ukraine over $300 billion since the Russian invasion. Where did all that money go?

News reports of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his family’s lavish spending trips in Europe give a clue—here is a good Las Vegas bet that the Biden family and a gaggle of Democrats are far richer than they ever were. As evidenced by the partial exposure of USAID money, the Democrats and the deep state are experts at laundering money and pilfering the US taxpayer. Trump threatens to end all that.

Let us recall that infamous radio soundcheck on August 11, 1984, when President Ronald Reagan “jokingly” declared, “My fellow Americans, I’m pleased to tell you today that I’ve signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes.” Though possibly intended as a joke, the comment quickly escalated into an international incident. As someone who was involved in high-level politics at the time, I was never convinced that this was an unintentional joke by the president. He once again sent a strong message to the Soviet Union. And yes, it put the world on edge, and just like the Trump-Zelenskyy exchange, the Democrats and the media went crazy. Has it been so long since America had a real American as its leader that we have forgotten what putting our country first looks like?

Zelenskyy was disrespectful to America and to the office of President. Trump was right to boot him out of the White House and tell him not to come back until he wanted to talk peace. The Ukraine-Democrat romance is coming to an abrupt end. And that means that the money-laundering gravy train is also pulling in to the last stop on the line—Accountability. Surely, everyone that was on that train is going to be upset. Think I’m making this up? Just look at previous Biden family dealings in Ukraine that were exposed during the whole Hunter Biden laptop fiasco that the Democrats and deep state tried to characterize as a Russian election interference operation. Hunter received his daddy’s pardon for all these things he didn’t do—and Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian crime cartel were all part of it.

Yes, we support the Ukrainian people, and Russia is the aggressor. But no, there should be no more money flowing into Zelenskyy’s dictatorship and oligarchy crime cartel without strings attached. Like Trump said, the war with Russia would have lasted about two weeks if not for US weapons. Instead of trying to bully America into starting World War III with NATO support and more killing, Zelenskyy and his Democrat buddies need to be talking peace. It is high time the Democratic Party-Zelenskyy Cartel comes to an end and good faith to American citizens is restored.

Proverbs 16:7 says, “When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.”

Let us pray this is so as the president decides how to deal with these issues and the people who caused them.

Technocratic Depravity | Study – Grow – Know

Last night’s presidential address to Congress proved once and for all that the Left stands opposed to the US Constitution and all that is good for America. What’s tragic – aside from how the Left views things – is their inability to see themselves for what they have become.

Romans 1 paints an inglorious picture of what happens to those who continually reject God and His Word. In verses 18-23, Paul talks about why God’s wrath is poured out onto civilizations. It has to do with the fact that even though God’s existence is made perfectly clear from Creation alone, people opt to deny and ignore that truth. In essence, they are rebelling against God and His wisdom. This then leads them to start doing very foolish things, ultimately by worshipping things that are not gods at all (v23).

But that’s not the end of it. People who are on that downward trajectory don’t stop at worshiping creatures and idols. It gets worse as they begin to plunge themselves headlong into an abyss of error and egregious sin. They often start dishonoring their own bodies, using them for things God never intended.

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

But it still gets worse, as far as God is concerned, according to Paul. A continued lifestyle of complete disregard for God and His ways leads to a final landing spot for those folks.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

Last night, during President Trump’s speech to Congress, what we witnessed were people without concern for what is right and good. They refused to stand and applaud when Riley Laken’s mother appeared before Congress, whose daughter was brutally murdered by an illegal immigrant to this country. Apparently, the Left does not care that she was murdered at all.

They essentially clapped or stood for nothing President Trump said because their hatred and depravity is so visceral within them. They want nothing good for America or the people legally here. They want only to enrich themselves and make it as difficult as possible for Trump to accomplish anything good for America.

At one point, Democrat Al Green kept interrupting Trump waving his cane and shouting, “You don’t have a mandate!” He was finally escorted out of Congress by the Sergeant at Arms. Imagine hating someone so much that you’ll do everything you can to stop him from trying to do what’s best for Americans. Apart from the fact that Romans 1 informs us just how low these people will sink in their continued defiance of God and His Word, it cannot be understood. It’s only when we understand that these people continually reject God that He finally gives them over to themselves and a debased mind (v28).

In another, yet related, issue of depravity, it seems clear that the unelected powers that be in the European Union want continued war with Russia and they are happy to use Ukraine to achieve their ends. In a recent interview between Alex Jones and economist Martin Armstrong, Armstrong laid out his beliefs regarding why the EU continues to push for war.[1]

In a nutshell he states that the EU needs to conquer, break up and take all that Russia has. This, they believe, will catapult them to the position of top dog in Europe and after gaining access to all of Russia’s mineral resources, the EU would become powerfully rich and have the clout needed to become the world’s major power, eclipsing the United States.

This is why, according to Armstrong, peace between Russia and Ukraine is not being pursued. It is interesting that President Trump wants peace, while nearly all leaders in Europe want continued war. The EU is going bankrupt. Their leaders are appointed, not elected. The people within the EU have no say about who rules over them yet their leaders talk about how dangerous Trump is because he supposedly is such a danger to “democracy.” In fact, it is those unelected bureaucrats whose allegiance is connected to those who put them in power in the first place. This isn’t democracy, but dictatorships. But of course, to keep people from recognizing the fact that the EU leaders are dictators, they have to shift blame to Trump and others like Orban or the new PM of Italy.

Zelenskyy is playing his part. He also is a dictator who was simply appointed to his position of President of Ukraine. His native language is Russian. He is fake all the way around and is in it for what he can get out of it. He has zero interest in helping the Ukrainian people. Trump wants peace and it is achievable, except for the fact that Zelenskyy and the many leaders within EU nations need to pursue war with Russia because the EU is running out of money and resources. It’s that simple.

So they push for more war in spite of the hundreds of thousands who have died in this absolutely senseless war already. This is more evidence of leaders with debased minds. Ukrainian men are being kidnapped off the street by government thugs and sent to the front lines to fight. This is despicable. Zelenskyy has said he wants the USA to send troops and he wants us to keep sending money and armaments. Why, so he can sell them on the black market for 20 cents on the dollar? So that more Ukrainians end up dead?

During the White House Press conference, which was supposed to be a gathering to respond to questions from the press prior to signing the agreement between the USA and Ukraine at a luncheon, Zelenskyy had just met with Democrats who convinced him to turn Trump’s deal down. Zelenskyy was childish during that presser and even muttered under his breath “F*ckin’ B*tch” in his native Russian language after VP Vance responded to him at one point.

Zelenskyy was kicked out of the White House and the lunch and signing never happened. But now, EU leaders say they are in full support of him and Ukraine. UK has offered Ukraine a loan of a few billion. Really? A loan? The US has given Ukraine money hand over fist and Zelenskyy wants more and more.

But we are to now believe Zelenskyy has had a change of heart and he now is supposedly ready to sign the agreement for mineral rights. Why should Trump believe or trust him? This all seems to be a game for Zelenskyy and is the result of his debased mind where lying is seen as good and righteous in certain situations. The United States needs to stay out of Europe’s affairs. There are too many problems here at home that need attention and correction after Biden’s failures. But I can see some type of false flag used to make it appear that the USA needs to get personally involved in what’s happening in Europe.

Unfortunately, this push for the USA’s involvement appears simply meant to break our economy and destroy our power. The EU wants to be top dog, according to Martin Armstrong. They ultimately want to bring back the old Roman Empire in a newer form so that they can usher in the type of truly global government they want to exist.

This is not far-fetched and if it were not for the fact that the Bible consistently reveals that there will be a revised form of the old Roman Empire that rises in Europe (Daniel 2), it would be hard to believe. Unfortunately, it will happen at some point. But the EU needs to conquer and break Russia first and if they can get the USA involved in that process, the USA will also become somewhat broken as well, leaving the EU as the supreme global power.

Russia and Putin are not under the thumb of global technocrats, but need to be, as far as technocrats are concerned. They need to break Russia into smaller parts and take what they want to take to enrich the EU powers into a truly global government. This  connects to the Marxists in the US Congress, who are essentially paid to stand in Trump’s or anyone’s way who wants the best for the United States. They sold out long ago and are paid by the highest bidders to work against the US. They are traitors, all of them. This was never more true than it was under the Biden Administration, but of course, it started in earnest during the Obama regime.

I’m hopeful that even though Zelenskyy seems to have acquiesced and done an about face, Trump will not be taken in by his antics. The US needs to remain out of the political situation in Europe because it’s not something we can win. In fact, it will end up weakening the USA and destroying at least part of the sovereignty of our country.

Too many in power suffer from a seriously debased and depraved mind. They work on behalf of people like Klaus Schwab and other unelected global technocrats who want/need to gain dominance over every nation and every person in this world.

Another proof of depravity is the FDA’s recent admission that the mRNA “vaccines” cause cancer.[2] Gosh, who knew? Actually, many doctors warned of this because of the contents of the jab itself. However, most of these doctors were censored to oblivion because of their warnings. Some lost their license to practice medicine. How does a person create something that is supposedly life-saving while filling it with dangerous adjuvants and up to 470 times the allowed levels of DNA????? It can only be done with a debased or depraved mind as it was not accidental.

Why are the mRNA jabs causing cancers? They “…contain dangerous levels of excess DNA contamination.” Cancers, for anyone who keeps up with it, have shot up in serious numbers over just the past few years. The DNA fragments alone in the mRNA injections are causing havoc in the human body. Many cancers are coming to the fore and by the time they are discovered, they’re already in the 3rd/4th stage of cancer. People are sometimes dying within a week of discovery.

If people aren’t dying of cancers, they are dropping dead suddenly due to heart attacks and/or strokes. We are talking young to very young people. Kids in grade school are having heart attacks as are young men and women in their 20s and 30s. Coroners tell us they died of “natural causes” or what they call SADS (Sudden Adult Death Syndrome). Before CV, that didn’t exist and with few exceptions, the people who dropped from a heart attack were older folks.

Since CV, this sudden death syndrome has become an accepted situation throughout the world. If the mRNA jab is creating the cancers and other grievous adverse reactions, we have to ask why this is the case and why the jab is still out there and being pushed. If you go to the “fact-checker” sites, you’ll read all about how all of this is all simply conspiracy theories at work (even though the FDA has admitted the jabs can cause cancer due to the extreme amount of DNA fragments). The problem is that something is causing all these deaths and cancers in recent years and it’s not climate change, like they would have us believe.

A debased and depraved mind can create all sorts of havoc in life and society. A debased mind spends time thinking of ways of creating harm (Micah 2:1-3). They have two goals in life. To ruin other people’s lives and take whatever they can gain from them. That, in a nutshell is today’s Technocrat and they are working overtime to achieve their ends.

Trump administration pauses all aid to Ukraine | Denison Forum

The Trump administration is pausing all aid to Ukraine, including weapons, days after a contentious meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and President Donald Trump.

In related news, the UK and France are seeking to forge a European “coalition of the willing” to secure a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia. This comes as France proposes a partial one-month truce between Russia and Ukraine, and Mr. Zelensky says Ukraine is “still ready” to sign a minerals deal with the US. However, he also says a deal to end the war with Russia “is still very, very far away.”

This ongoing controversy over the way forward in Ukraine is both highly complex and very simple.

How the conflict is complex (part one)

It is highly complex in that there are so many competing agendas in conflict with each other. For example, consider the press conference last Friday in the Oval Office staged to discuss the signing of a rare earth minerals agreement between Ukraine and the US.

Forty minutes in, Vice President Vance advocated for diplomacy to end the conflict; Mr. Zelensky then began to argue with him, citing times Vladimir Putin has violated diplomatic agreements and asking, “What kind of diplomacy are you speaking about?” A heated argument ensued, ending the press conference and postponing the signing ceremony that was to follow.

If I had not seen the press conference but only read opinions about it, they would seem to be discussing completely different events. Republican leaders blamed Mr. Zelensky for the conflict; one castigated him for having “the audacity to disrespect” the president. Democrat leaders blamed Mr. Trump; one called him “a lapdog for a brutal dictator in Moscow.”

This is unsurprising: in our divisive political climate, many people consider anything President Trump does to be either entirely right or entirely wrong. Many partisans are convinced the other side is not just wrong but evil—and you don’t compromise with evil. So every political story descends into name-calling and point-scoring for “our” side against “their” side.

How the conflict is complex (part two)

Then there are the basic facts of the conflict:

  • President Zelensky wants security guarantees from Europe and the US to keep Russia from invading again. In his view, Ukraine is fighting Vladimir Putin on behalf of the West. If Russia captures Ukraine and then proceeds to invade a NATO country, America and Europe will be drawn into a world war.
  • European and US leaders know that if they grant such guarantees and Russia invades Ukraine, World War III will ensue. Since both sides have nuclear weapons, such a war could endanger mankind.
  • President Trump sees this as a European conflict and therefore believes European nations should do more to support Ukraine and the US should be less involved.
  • Vladimir Putin sees any Western presence or influence in Ukraine as an encroachment on Russian sovereignty paving the way for another invasion of the Motherland.

Last Friday’s press conference should be viewed through the prism of these contradictory facts.

Mr. Zelensky was frustrated that the proposed rare earth minerals agreement did not include security guarantees he believes are crucial for his nation. Mr. Trump was frustrated that Mr. Zelensky did not seem grateful for the help he had been given and turned a press conference into a debate. Both then argued for what they believe is in the best interest of the nation they serve.

And so the conflict continues.

How the conflict is simple

I said earlier that this conflict is both complex and simple. Here’s the simple part: Ukraine and Russia want the same territory. Both consider it part of their historic homeland and vital to their sovereignty and security. If one wins, the other must lose.

Such a zero-sum dilemma is at the heart of most intractable conflicts across history.

For example, Israelis and Palestinians both venerate the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. To the Jews, it is where Abraham offered Isaac and their temple was built. To the Muslims, it is where Abraham offered Ishmael and the Prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven. Both sides want the same “rock” and the land it represents.

The only way to resolve a zero-sum dilemma without conflict is to change the terms of the engagement from win-lose to win-win. This involves compromising what I want to enable what you want. The more I must sacrifice to make such a compromise, the more I must value your best as I value my own.

Imagine a world in which Russia values Ukraine’s sovereignty and flourishing as much as it values its own. Or a world in which Palestinians and Israelis want the same prosperity and freedom for each other that they want for themselves.

Such a world is the intention of Jesus’ second Great Commandment: “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:39, quoting Leviticus 19:18). He did not tell us to love our neighbor only when we agree with them. (That would be so easy as to need no such directive from our Lord.) He told us to love them “as yourself.” And you love yourself even when you don’t like yourself. In fact, you love yourself even when you despise something you have done to yourself or to someone else.

This is how we are to love our neighbor, whether they are a person or a nation.

“The wolf shall dwell with the lamb”

Of course, such selfless love is impossible for fallen humans, which is why zero-sum conflicts continue in our families, communities, and the world at large. But while we cannot fulfill God’s word in our strength, the good news is that we don’t have to.

The love Jesus commands is a “fruit” of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22), one result of the Spirit’s work in every life yielded fully to him (Ephesians 5:18). If both sides in the Russia/Ukraine war would submit themselves to Christ as Lord and surrender to his Spirit, he would empower them to forgive each other, seek each other’s best, and live together in harmony.

You might say this is impossible, but remember: The Spirit transformed a Christian-persecuting zealot into the greatest advocate and apologist for the Christian movement in history (Acts 9). He transformed a Gentile-rejecting Jew into a missionary to a Roman centurion and his family (Acts 10). He is working today to conform you and me to the character of Christ (Romans 8:29).

And no one in human history loved his neighbor as himself more than our Savior.

Jesus is grieving over the horrific war in Ukraine right now. He is also grieving over any zero-sum conflicts in your life and mine. He loves your neighbor so much that he died for them. Now he wants you to love them as he loves you.

One day “the wolf shall dwell with the lamb” (Isaiah 11:6). That day can come for your heart today.

Quote for the day:

“To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you.” —C. S. Lewis

Europe Pledges To Send Ukraine Their Entire Military Might Of 3 Panzer Tanks And A Nazi Motorcycle With A Sidecar | Babylon Bee

Article Image

LONDON — The European members of NATO have rushed to the defense of Ukraine following criticism by the Trump administration, promising to support its ongoing war with Russia. As a show of support, Europe has pledged its collective military might of three panzer tanks and one of those Nazi motorcycles with a sidecar.

“Unlike Trump, we will give you our entire military supply!” German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said as he presented Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy with three German Panzer IV tanks and a BMW R75 motorcycle complete with neat functioning sidecar. “Sorry, this is all we have.”

The Panzer IV was the most produced German tank during World War II and is widely regarded by enthusiasts and hobbyists to be “pretty awesome, and a cool-looking model to have on, like, a desk or bookshelf or something.” The BMW R75 was a heavy motorcycle built for rugged terrain that featured a sidecar German soldiers could shoot from, making it a fast-moving terror on wheels. Unlike the tank, however, it did not achieve worldwide notoriety until it was featured in Disney’s Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

“What does Russia have? Bears?” French President Emmanuel Macron chimed in. “You’ll be fine. Now pose for a picture with us, Lil’ Z.”

The momentous occasion marks the first time Europe has done anything on behalf of NATO, though they stopped short of letting Ukraine into the treaty organization. “You take out the entire Russian army with that BMW R75 and we’ll talk,” Chancellor Scholz said as he ruffled Zelenskyy’s hair. “Now get out of here, you little rascal!”

At publishing time, President Zelenskyy was called ungrateful after he said the three panzer tanks and Nazi motorcycle were not enough to keep Russia at bay.

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov Praises Trump’s Common-Sense, Blasts Warmongers in Europe as ‘The Crucible of the World’s Tragedies’ | The Gateway Pundit

While Europe – cheered on by the Democrats and the USAID-media – are throwing a long, collective tantrum in defense of their ‘mini-Churchill’, Kiev leader Volodymyr Zelensky, the real players of our geopolitical world look on in appreciation as the Donald J. Trump’s administration set out vigorously to do exactly what they promised to do: end the war in Ukraine and reengage Russia into a new world of peace and prosperity.

Yesterday (2), Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov took some time to praise U.S. President Donald Trump’s ‘common sense’ aim to end the war, while torching the European ‘powers’ seeking to ‘prolong the conflict’.

Lavrov said that Washington and Moscow would never completely ‘see eye to eye’, but that they had agreed to be pragmatic when interests coincided.

Russia’s Lavrov and US Secretary Rubio are leading this historic process of détente.

Read: OPEN COMMS: After Trump and Putin Talk, Secretary Rubio and Foreign Minister Lavrov Work on ‘Foreign Conflict Issues’ and To ‘Restore Mutually Respectful Interstate Dialogue’

Reuters reported:

“President Vladimir Putin’s foreign minister of 21 years said the model of the U.S.-China relationship was the one that should be built between Russia and the United States to do a lot of ‘mutually beneficial things’ without allowing disagreements to collapse into war.

‘Donald Trump is a pragmatist’, Lavrov told the Russian military newspaper Krasnaya Zvezda, according to a transcript released by the Foreign Ministry. ‘His slogan is common sense. It means, as everyone can see, a shift to a different way of doing things’.

‘But the goal is still MAGA (Make America Great Again’), Lavrov said, referring to Trump’s political slogan. ‘This gives a lively, human character to politics. That’s why it’s interesting to work with him’.”

Trump has warned that the Ukraine war could easily devolve into World War III and revealed that he had spoken to Putin on ‘numerous occasions’..

On Friday, Zelensky went into Oval Office to publicly argue with Trump and Vice President JD Vance, leading the Americans to accusing Zelensky of ‘disrespecting the United States’, while saying to his face that he is losing the war badly, and has ‘no cards left’.

“But Lavrov criticized Europe, saying that for the past 500 years Europe had been the crucible of ‘all the tragedies of the world’ including colonization, wars, crusaders, the Crimean War, Napoleon Bonaparte, World War One and Adolf Hitler. ‘And now, after (former U.S. President Joe) Biden’s term, people have come in who want to be guided by common sense. They say directly that they want to end all wars, they want peace’, Lavrov said. ‘And who demands a ‘continuation of the banquet’ in the form of a war? Europe’.”

Lavrov also repeated a Russian negotiation point: no contingent of ‘European peacekeepers’ is acceptable.

“’Now they also want to prop him up with their bayonets in the form of peacekeeping units. This will mean that the root causes will not disappear’, Lavrov said.”

Watch: Lavrov says Zelensky is a ‘Nazi’ and a ‘traitor to the Jewish people’.

Zelensky Rejects Calls for Immediate Ceasefire Against Nuclear Superpower Russia | The Gateway Pundit

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has doubled down on his rejection of an immediate ceasefire in the war with Russia.

Speaking to the Financial Times after a weekend hobnobbing with European elites in London, Zelensky made it clear he’s willing to let Ukraine burn rather than negotiate a practical peace.

Zelensky’s latest outburst comes on the heels of a fiery confrontation with President Donald Trump at the White House last Friday, where the Ukrainian leader clashed with America’s commander-in-chief over Kyiv’s refusal to consider a ceasefire.

Trump, alongside his cabinets, has rightly argued that Ukraine should prioritize ending the bloodshed rather than clinging to fantasies of total victory over a military superpower.

“You’re gambling with the lives of millions of people. You’re gambling with World War Three. You’re gambling with World War Three, and what you’re doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country, far more than a lot of people say they should,” Trump told Zelensky.

More from FT:

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has rejected calls for Ukraine to agree an immediate ceasefire in its war with Russia, saying it would be “failure for everyone” if a cessation of hostilities were not accompanied by detailed security guarantees.

The defiant Ukrainian president said he saw no need to make amends for an explosive row with Donald Trump at the White House on Friday or come up with a plan to salvage his relationship with the US president, although he restated his gratitude to the American people.

“This relationship will continue because this is more than a relationship in one moment,” Zelenskyy, who was speaking after meeting more than a dozen European leaders at a summit in London on Sunday, said in reference to the bust-up that shocked Kyiv’s allies.

Trump and his allies have said Kyiv should be willing to agree a ceasefire, a point echoed by Lord Peter Mandelson, the UK’s ambassador to Washington, on Sunday.

Zelenskyy said Russia’s failure to abide by a ceasefire in eastern Ukraine after invading in 2014 convinced him that it would be a mistake to agree to stop fighting without an enforcement mechanism backed up by military force.

“If you don’t have an end to the war and you don’t have security guarantees, no one is able to control a ceasefire,” Zelenskyy said from London’s Stansted airport as he prepared to fly back to Ukraine.

Let’s be clear: Zelensky’s stance isn’t noble—it’s delusional. He points to Russia’s violation of a 2014 ceasefire in eastern Ukraine as proof that no truce can hold without “enforcement mechanisms” backed by military might.

Fair enough—Vladimir Putin’s track record isn’t exactly spotless. But continuing a fight against a nation with one of the world’s largest nuclear arsenals—that’s not a strategy; it’s a suicide pact.

Zelensky criticized the notion of a ceasefire without robust security guarantees.

Zelenskyy’s pursuit of security guarantees encompasses binding military commitments and integration into Western defense structures like NATO.

President Donald Trump has already told Zelensky that providing security guarantees to Ukraine would be Europe’s responsibility.

“I know that France is going to (provide guarantees), I know the U.K. is going to… But we would have security in a different form. We would have workers there… digging,” Trump said on Friday.

“I am in the middle; I am for both Ukraine and Russia. I want to get it (Russia’s war against Ukraine) solved,” Trump added.

Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy, Who Met with Zelensky Before WH Visit, Confirms the Ukrainian Leader Had Already Decided to Torpedo Trump’s Mineral Deal Before Meeting with Trump | The Gateway Pundit

Screenshot: Zelenskyy / X

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky torpedoed a crucial mineral deal with the United States—before he even set foot in the White House to meet with President Trump.

And now, thanks to Democrat Senator Chris Murphy, we have confirmation that Zelensky had already decided to sabotage the agreement after cozying up with anti-Trump lawmakers.

On Friday, Zelensky first met with a bipartisan group of U.S. Senators at the Hay Adams Hotel—mere steps away from the White House—where he was showered with praise from deep-state warmongers.

This elite gathering included usual suspects like:

  • Amy Klobuchar (D-MN)
  • Jacky Rosen (D-NV)
  • Richard Blumenthal (D-CT)
  • Chris Murphy (D-CT)
  • Peter Welch (D-VT)
  • Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI)
  • Chris Van Hollen (D-MD)
  • Additionally, RINOs Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Roger Wicker (R-MS), and Charles Grassley (R-IA) were present at this closed-door gathering.

The goal? To ensure that Zelensky remained the poster boy for the endless Ukraine war at the expense of the American taxpayer.

Murphy himself admitted it. In a social media post, he gleefully declared that Zelensky was never going to accept President Trump’s mineral deal—an agreement Secretary of State Marco Rubio had already confirmed was a done deal.

“Just finished a meeting with President Zelensky here in Washington. He confirmed that the Ukrainian people will not support a fake peace agreement where Putin gets everything he wants and there are no security arrangements for Ukraine,” Murphy wrote at 11:15 a.m. on Friday.

https://twitter.com/ChrisMurphyCT/status/1895508100595204115

And so, less than an hour after meeting with the anti-Trump cabal, Zelensky walked into the White House not as a diplomat, but as an antagonist. In an embarrassing and petulant display, Zelensky:

  • Disrespected President Trump and his Cabinet
  • Spoke over both Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance
  • Addressed VP Vance by his first name instead of his title
  • Argued belligerently with the President
  • Showed complete disregard for American interests

The reality is now clear: Zelensky never intended to engage in honest negotiations. He came to Washington not to secure peace but to prolong the war—a war that has devastated his own country while lining the pockets of defense contractors and corrupt politicians.

His refusal to honor the mineral deal is proof that he is beholden to the globalist elites who want perpetual conflict, not resolution.

President Trump and Vice President Vance saw through the charade and refused to let Zelensky manipulate the American people.

This was a defining moment that exposed the Ukrainian leader for what he truly is—a political opportunist who answers to the radical left and their agenda to undermine Trump at every turn.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent revealed in an exclusive interview with Laura Ingraham on The Ingraham Angle that this is the third time Zelensky has refused to sign a mineral agreement.

He recounted how Zelensky initially refused to sign the deal during a direct meeting with him in Kyiv. Subsequently, Zelensky dodged similar negotiations with Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

This was echoed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio during his interview with far-left CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins.

According to Rubio, this meeting could have been avoided had Zelenskyy signed it already rather than insisting on coming to D.C.

Marc Rubio: They insisted on coming to D.C. This agreement could have been signed five days ago, but they insisted on coming to Washington. And there was a very, and should have been a very clear understanding: don’t come here and create such a scenario where you’re going to start lecturing us about how diplomacy isn’t going to work.

President Zelenskyy took it in that direction, and it ended in a predictable outcome as a result. It’s unfortunate. That wasn’t supposed to be this way, but that’s the path he chose, and I think, frankly, it sends this country backwards in regards to achieving peace, which is what President Trump wants.

At the end of the day, he wants this war to end. He’s been as consistent as anyone can be about what his objective is here.

Zelensky didn’t come to make peace or honor agreements. He came to the grandstand for the cameras, poked America in the eye, and kept the war machine humming.

WH Press Sec Says Cameras in Oval Office Showed The World What President Trump Deals with in Negotiations “Behind The Scenes” – Reveals Zelensky has “Continually Denied” Reality in Private Discussions | The Gateway Pundit

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Sunday addressed the question of why President Trump’s meeting with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday was publicly televised, and explained why “it was great for the cameras to be in there.”

“The American people and the world were able to see what the President and his team has seen behind the scenes in negotiating with President Zelensky’s team,” she said, indicating that Zelensky’s behavior and unwillingness to make peace has been an ongoing struggle in the effort to end the war.

“They have continually denied the pragmatic reality of where their country stands today.”

What was already a done deal and a public signing of an agreement went haywire when Zelensky, who couldn’t even bother to wear a suit, repeatedly rolled his eyes, interrupted the President, refused to agree to a ceasefire, then started attacking the President and Vice President. Ukraine had previously agreed to Trump’s requested mineral rights deal with the US to compensate Americans for the hundreds of billions of dollars of taxpayer money Joe Biden gave them over the last four years, but the agreement was not officialized Friday.

A White House spokesperson confirmed on background that the deal was not signed, and it’s clear that Zelensky does not want peace for his country.

At one point during the meeting with cameras rolling, Zelensky decided he wanted to play the role of a leftist reporter and press Vice President Vance with questions attacking the Trump Administration for Obama and Biden’s failures.

Vance called Zelensky out for disrespecting the President, and President Trump blasted him for “gambling with World War III.”

WATCH:

Zelensky has refused to apologize for going after the President and Vice President. After his removal from the White House, he even told Bret Baier that he’s “not sure we did something bad” and attacked President Trump for allowing cameras in the room.

“I don’t think they really want to stop Putin. They want to continue this bloodshed,” Ukraine-born U.S. Rep Victoria Spartz (R-IN) said in condemnation of Zelensky’s despicable behavior.

Karoline Leavitt joined Fox’s Howard Kurtz on Sunday to announce, “It’s a different sheriff in town,” and Zelensky’s refusal to recognize he can’t talk down to Trump like he did with Biden is unacceptable.

WATCH:

Kurtz: Why hold the meeting in front of the cameras?

Leavitt: Because President Trump is the most transparent president in history, and as he said, it was great for the cameras to be in there because the American people and the world were able to see what the President and his team has seen behind the scenes in negotiating with President Zelensky’s team.

They have continually denied the pragmatic reality of where their country stands today. Three years have passed, hundreds of 1000s of people have died, Zelensky is losing the support of the American public for funding this effort, and it’s a different sheriff in town. President Trump is not the same as President Biden. He has different priorities. He wants to negotiate a deal. President Zelensky failed to recognize that.

Will The Pre-Determined Failure Of A Globalist “Peace Plan” Be Used As Justification For European Nations To Enter The War With Russia? | End Of The American Dream

Why does every “step forward” seem to bring us even closer to an apocalyptic showdown with Russia?  Now we are being told that the UK, France and other European nations will be working with Ukraine to develop a “plan to stop the fighting”.  We aren’t being given specific details about the plan yet, but there are two things that we do know.  First of all, it will involve European troops on Ukrainian soil.  In fact, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is already telling us that the British are ready to put “boots on the ground”.  Secondly, the plan will almost certainly require the Russians to give back large portions of territory that they have conquered.  Of course the Russians have already clearly stated that they will never accept European troops on Ukrainian soil and that no territory that Russia is currently holding will be returned.  In this case, the Russians have all the leverage because their troops are steadily moving forward.  The bottom line is that the globalists know that there is zero chance that the Russians will agree to the peace plan that they are working on.  So why put forward such a plan at all?

Ultimately, I think that European leaders want to convince their populations that they did “all that they could” before sending their own troops to die in eastern Ukraine.

They know that this “peace plan” is not going to work.  They simply want to justify what they are about to do.

In the article that I published just before this one, I outlined three options that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is facing.  In this article, I want to discuss three options that European leaders are facing.

#1 The first option would be to force Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to make peace with the Russians.  Now that relations with the U.S. have broken down, Zelenskyy cannot continue the war without European support.  Of course making peace with the Russians would mean giving the Russians just about everything that they want because the Russians have all the leverage right now.  This option is untenable for the Europeans, because it would mean losing the war and handing Vladimir Putin a major victory.

#2 The second option would be to continue sending Ukraine cash and military equipment and hope for the best.  Needless to say, that isn’t going to work.  No matter how much cash and equipment the Europeans send to Ukraine, the Ukrainians will lose this war if they are forced to fight the Russians alone.  In the end, the Russians would simply take as much of Ukraine as they felt like taking until they decided that they finally wanted to stop.  That would be a worse outcome for the Europeans than option number one.

#3 The third option would be for European nations to enter the war directly.  As I discussed in my previous article, this is what Zelenskyy desperately wants.  The only way that Ukraine can win this war is if large numbers of western troops are introduced into the conflict.  But of course if European nations start fighting Russia, that puts us right on the brink of nuclear war.  Needless to say, nuclear war would be the worst outcome of all.

Unfortunately, I think that European leaders are rapidly moving toward option number three.

At the “emergency summit” that was held in London on Sunday, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer discussed the “plan to stop the fighting” that European leaders will be working to develop

“We’ve now agreed that the United Kingdom, along with France and possibly one or two others, will work with Ukraine on a plan to stop the fighting, and then we’ll discuss that plan with the United States,” Starmer told the BBC, adding that he and Macron have both spoken to Trump since the latter’s meeting with Zelenskyy.

At Sunday’s summit, European leaders will look toward shoring up the continents’ defenses in defending Ukraine, including discussions to create a European military force to send to the war-torn country to cap a cease-fire. Starmer suggested the military force would include a “coalition of the willing.”

Ominously, Starmer told the press that the UK is ready to enforce a ceasefire with boots on the ground and fighter jets in the air…

“The UK is prepared to back this with BOOTS on the ground and planes in the air.”

And when he was specifically asked about the potential for war with Russia, Starmer did not rule that out

Asked whether there is now more of a real prospect of Britain being at war with Russia, Sir Keir Starmer said: “The reason I’ve been forward-leaning on this is because I want to avoid conflict, because I do not want conflict in Ukraine, in Europe…I want stability in the United Kingdom.

“The way to ensure that stability is to ensure that we are able to defend a deal in Ukraine, because the one thing our history tells us is that if there is conflict in Europe, it will wash up on our shores.

There is not going to be any “deal in Ukraine” and they know that.

The Russians have stated over and over again that no European soldiers will be permitted in Ukraine.

Starmer very clearly understands what the Russian position is.

If UK troops are sent to Ukraine, it won’t be to “defend” a deal.

It will be to fight a war.

And as Mike Cernovich has aptly pointed out, if British soldiers start dying in eastern Ukraine that could be a way to draw the United States directly into the conflict…

The plan is for the UK to send soldiers to Ukraine, set them up to be shot by Russians or in a false flag attack, and then claim Article 5 of the NATO treaty requires the United States to send soldiers to bail them out.

Of course it wouldn’t just be British troops that would get targeted.

On Sunday, we learned that Russian missiles had sunk a cargo ship that was delivering British weapons to Ukraine…

Vladimir Putin unleashed a missile strike to ‘sink’ a cargo ship amid unconfirmed Russian claims it was carrying British weapons for use by Ukraine.

Two Iskander-M ballistic missiles hit the Panama-flagged container ship MSC LEVANTE F – reportedly Swiss-owned – soon after it arrived in Odesa on March 1, after making a stop in Turkey.

Two port workers were believed to have been wounded in the strike, which also damaged infrastructure, Ukrainian reports said.

So what happens if the Russians decide to start hitting ships and other military targets that are far beyond Ukrainian territory?

And what happens if the Russians start hitting military targets that are actually located inside British territory?

Could the U.S. stay out of the war in such a scenario?

What we need is a peace plan that will work for everyone.

At the moment, it is being reported that there is “no deal in sight at present that would satisfy Mr. Putin”

A Moscow foreign-policy analyst who is close to the Kremlin said on Saturday that any delay to peace talks was likely to benefit Russia, because there was no deal in sight at present that would satisfy Mr. Putin. The analyst insisted on anonymity because of the sensitivities in Moscow of speaking to Western journalists.

And there is no deal in sight that would satisfy Zelenskyy’s absurd demands either.

We need to be very honest about what is really going on.

The Russians and the Ukrainians are not even in the same universe when it comes to what an acceptable peace agreement would look like, and meanwhile Russian forces just continue to gobble up more territory

While Zelensky was readying to make his last stand and ‘confront’ Trump at the White House – which of course did not go well at all – Ukrainian forces were steadily losing ground on the eastern frontline. Indeed Kiev forces were being beaten back at the very moment Zelensky and VP Vance were arguing in the Oval.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said at the moment all eyes were on Trump-Zelensky meeting that its forces were busy seizing two more villages along the eastern frontlines.

“Moscow on Saturday said it had seized two more villages in eastern Ukraine as Kyiv officials said Russian strikes had killed one person and wounded 19,” AFP reports.

“The Russian defense ministry said its forces had captured Skudne and Burlatske in the south of the eastern Donetsk region,” the report continues. This is just outside the town of Velyka Novossilka, which Russia captured at the end of January.

If European leaders were serious about peace, it would be so easy to come up with a framework for a realistic deal.  A ceasefire would freeze the front lines where they currently are, Ukraine would be designated a neutral state and would be banned from joining NATO, and no European troops would be permitted in Ukraine.

That is what it would take to make a deal because the Russians are clearly winning the war and the Ukrainians are clearly losing the war.

But the Europeans and the Ukrainians will never, ever accept such a deal.

Instead, they are going to put their own deal forward even though they already know that it will fail.

And when it fails, it will give them justification for the “next steps” that have already been decided upon.

One British pundit just declared that “we are now at war” with Russia, and that should chill all of us to the core.

Because once the UK is officially at war with Russia, it won’t be too long before the U.S. follows suit.

Trump, Vance, & The New New World Order

 • https://www.zerohedge.com, by Stephen Soukup

“Today,” Wolf wrote, “autocracies [are] increasingly confident,” and “the United States is moving to their side.” According to the subhead on the column, “Washington has decided to abandon…its postwar role in the world.” Meanwhile, Wolf cites the (in his estimation) august Franklin Roosevelt, as he complains that the United States “has decided instead to become just another great power, indifferent to anything but its short-term interests.”

The ironies here—as well as the historical ignorance—abound.

To start, one would imagine that Wolf, an educated man with two degrees from Oxford, might know that it was his countryman (and two-time Prime Minister), Henry John Temple (i.e. Lord Palmerston), who declared in a speech in the House of Commons that “We have no eternal allies, and we have no perpetual enemies. Our interests are eternal and perpetual, and those interests it is our duty to follow.” Wolf might also be expected to know that this statement was repeated—more famously and more pithily—by Henry Kissinger, perhaps the quintessential American diplomat in the supposedly vaunted postwar order. Kissinger, like Palmerston and Trump (apparently) understood that a nation that pursues anything other than its interests is foolish, faithless, and, in time, doomed.

What bothers Wolf, it would seem, is that American interests are diverging from British and continental European interests. That is unfortunate, but it is also more than likely the case that this divergence is the result of Britain and Europe’s abandonment of the principles, values, and ambitions the allies once shared, rather than the other way around. For example, Wolf criticizes the speech given by J.D. Vance in which the vice president defended the traditional American dedication to free speech and attacked the British and European rejection of that principle. Yet again, Wolf might be expected to know that the American preoccupation with this and all other negative rights is something the nation’s Founders inherited from their British forefathers. If the two nations now differ on the importance of this fundamental right, then that’s hardly Vance’s, Trump’s, or any other American’s fault.

More ironies are found in Wolf’s praise of the now-dying postwar order and his citation of FDR as the architect of that order. While Wolf is correct that Roosevelt was one of two Americans most responsible for the creation of the postwar order, he is wrong in believing that the order was virtuous by design and that it played out precisely as Roosevelt intended. Indeed, he couldn’t be more wrong if he tried.

Reports of wolves killing livestock in Minnesota reach a record high
Wolf attacks on livestock climbed to a new high in Minnesota as ranchers reported losing more calves, cows and other animals to the predators in 2024 than any other year since records began in the 1980s. Ranchers made 252 claims of wolves killing livestock last year, compared to the 10-year average of 174 claims a year, according to data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). The losses, as usual, were primarily young calves.

Pam Bondi puts Minnesota ‘on notice’ for ignoring order banning trans athletes from girls’ and women’s sports
Bondi warned Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison that the Department of Justice is prepared to sue states that do not comply with Trump’s order. But Ellison indicated he will not back down, arguing that compliance would violate state’s human rights protections. “We write to inform you of years of rampant unchecked fraud occurring in our state due to failed leadership by Governor Tim Walz, his agencies, and legislative Democrats. We also ask for your assistance to investigate the growing fraud in our state,” state House Republicans wrote in a letter to Bondi earlier this month.

Cutting Zelensky Down To Size
After three years of being lionized by European Union members (with exceptions such as Prime Minister Orbán of Hungary), Trump and Vance put Zelensky in a different light. Zelensky came off as arrogant, disrespectful (not wearing a suit in the White House and referring to the Vice President as “JD”) and ungrateful, and Vance mentioned two facts most of the American media have ignored: Zelensky interfered in our election by effectively campaigning for Harris in the swing state of Pennsylvania. The Ukrainian government has been forced to grab men off the street for conscription because its manpower problems are so bad. The Ukrainians aren’t the plucky good guys. The Russians aren’t cartoonishly evil. Vladimir Putin isn’t a movie villain.

After Zelensky’s Ungrateful and Impertinent Display at the Oval Office, Trump Team and DOGE Move Swiftly To Audit Hundreds of Billions in US Aid to Ukraine | The Gateway Pundit

A lot has been written about the ‘blowout’ between Donald J. Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky, or the ‘smackdown’ imposed by Trump and VP JD Vance over the increasingly frustrated Ukrainian leader.

Trump called it a very meaningful meeting where the truth was arrived at under fire and pressure, and it seems that the doors of the White House are closed to ungrateful, impertinent Zelensky.

‘This is beyond a worst-case scenario for Ukraine’, commented The Telegraph journalist Roland Oliphant, on the joint appearance by Zelensky and Trump going sideways.

“’A diplomatic disaster. There is no other way to describe it. Of all the possible outcomes of today’s high-stakes meeting at the White House, Vladimir Zelensky and Donald Trump shouting at each other was not what anyone portrayed. then beyond the worst-case scenario. With those words, months – years – of careful diplomacy by Ukrainian officials and diplomats went up in smoke. When the smoke cleared, Ukrainian-American relations were left lying in a pool of blood’, he wrote.”

Immediately, Secretary of State Marco Rubio Terminated US Support of Ukraine’s Power Grid, while rumors state that Trump is about to end ALL military aid to Ukraine.

Another one of the first consequences – and a potentially damaging one to Zelensky’s tarnished reputation, is the decision to step up and accelerate the audit of the hundreds of Billions in US aid to Ukraine, a fortune that no one is really sure where it went.

After the fiasco, the audit.

The pro-Ukraine media is reporting on how the Zelensky fiasco in the Oval Office will speed up the administration’s efforts to investigate waste, fraud and abuse involving U.S. aid to Ukraine.

Reuters reported:

“The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said billionaire Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency, had already begun probing potential problems with large sums of U.S. economic and security assistance provided to Ukraine, but those efforts would now be sped up.

‘They’re already finding problems’, the official said, without providing additional details.”

Marco Rubio reveals that what Zelensky did before cameras started rolling is reason why he should apologize

Article Image
 • https://www.dailymail.co, By STEPHEN M. LEPORE

Marco Rubio said that Volodymyr Zelensky should apologize to Donald Trump and cast doubts on whether the Ukrainian president really wants peace after their disaster meeting.

The tense war of words played out inside the Oval Office Friday and quickly went off the rails when Trump took offense of how Zelensky treated his vice president JD Vance in front of the cameras.

In an effort to shift the blame away from Trump and Vance, whose aggression has provoked an international outcry in many of the US’s closest allies, the Secretary of State hinted that Zelensky owes the president an apology and found his behavior leading up to the Oval Office blowout unacceptable.

‘You guys only saw the end, you don’t see all the things that led up to this. The president’s been very clear on this, he campaigned on this. He thinks this war should have never started and I agree that had he been president it never would have happened,’ Rubio stated.

‘Now here we are, he’s trying to bring an end to this conflict, we’ve explained very clearly what our plan is here: we want to get the Russians to a negotiating table, we want to explore whether peace is possible,’ he added.

Rubio’s contention was that what happened in the ten days leading up to today’s meeting led to a ‘predictable outcome’ and the meeting didn’t even have to happen, claiming they were only here to sign the deal for minerals.

‘Apologize for turning this thing into the fiasco that it became,’ he said, in reference to Zelensky.

‘Don’t come here and create a scenario where you’re going to start lecturing us about how diplomacy isn’t going to work. Zelensky took it in that direction and it ended in a predictable outcome as a result.’

Rubio then speculated that the Ukrainian president has no interest in ending the now three year-long war.

‘Maybe Zelensky doesn’t want a peace deal. That act of open undermining is deeply frustrating for everyone who’s been involved. He should apologize for wasting our time.’

He said that Trump and Vance’s policies are an attempt to change course over a war that was going nowhere under Joe Biden.

Biden ‘was funding a stalemate, funding a meat grinder and the Russians have more meat to grind,’ he said of the previous administration.

Anchor Kaitlan Collins asked – as Zelensky was asked by Fox News earlier – if Trump and Zelensky’s relationship is repairable.

At one point, Rubio referenced a 2022 meeting where Joe Biden lost his temper with Zelensky and called it hypocrisy to criticize Trump.

‘I think anything is possible but it has to go back to the point that President Trump is involved in this to bring about enduring, lasting peace.’

Exclusive — Sen. Jim Banks: Trump Sent a Message to the World U.S. Will Not ‘Be Taken Advantage’ of | Breitbart

During an interview on Breitbart News Saturday, Sen. Jim Banks (R-IN) commented on the events that unfolded in the Oval Office on Friday during a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and President Donald Trump, noting that Trump sent a message to the world that the United States would not “be taken advantage” of.

Banks described the meeting, which ended with Zelensky being kicked out of the White House after making several disrespectful comments and not signing a minerals deal, as being “one of the most powerful moments” of his lifetime in American politics. During the interview, Banks went on to praise Trump for being “the people’s president” and having spoken “for America” and “Americans who are tired of being taken advantage of by the rest of the world.”

“I thought it was one of the most powerful moments of my lifetime in American politics, and it just goes to show what a strong, American president looks like in the White House. This conversation — what happened in the Oval Office yesterday was a long time coming. Zelensky was used to — over the last four years coming to Washington and meeting with a very weak president. The excessive hero worship of Zelensky by the establishment in Washington, it was time to put that in its place, and that’s what Donald Trump did yesterday,” Banks said.

“Zelensky disrespected America — not just in, to me its symbolic that he disrespects America in his attire. Not showing the respect of wearing a tie whether on the floor of the House when he spoke before a joint session of Congress that I refused to go to, but then to come into the Oval Office,” Banks added.

“Donald Trump is the people’s president, and yesterday was a powerful moment where he spoke for America, for Americans who are tired of being taken advantage of by the rest of the world. Almost $200 billion since the beginning of the war that American taxpayers have invested in Ukraine, and a lot more money that went before that, as President Trump has pointed out. And, for Zelensky not to come in humbly to thank America, to thank our true American president and Donald Trump, I just thought it was one of the most powerful moments of my lifetime.”

After host Matthew Boyle pointed out that the Trump administration had given the Ukrainians “multiple opportunities” to sign the minerals deal before the “Oval Office appearance” with Trump, Banks noted that it was powerful of Trump to tell Zelensky to leave and not to come back until he was serious about peace.

“For Zelensky in the Oval Office before the cameras to say that Ukraine has been alone, when America has done more than its part to help Ukraine, to me that was the moment. Zelensky, he’s not serious about peace, as President Trump pointed out. And, I thought powerful too, for President Trump to say, ‘Leave and don’t come back until you’re serious about peace, and then you can come back.’ So, there was an invitation there from President Trump to come back when you change your tone, and when you’re serious about all this.”

“I think the most important thing to unpack from all of this is the signal —the message that President Trump sent not to Ukraine, but to the rest of the world yesterday. That America is not going to be taken advantage by anybody, this isn’t about Russia and Ukraine. This is about America, and what is in America’s best interest. We will not be stepped on by foreign countries around the world. America will do its part, but it will be in America’s best interest. And, I thought that was the powerful message to the rest of the world that was sent yesterday, that I’ve never seen an American president in my lifetime send before.”

The Ukrainian leader does not care about human lives or billions of wasted euros, Peter Szijjarto has said

Trump-Zelensky spat shows who wants peace and who doesn’t – Hungarian FM

The public clash between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky has made it clear that, unlike Washington, Kiev is not interested in ending its conflict with Moscow, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has said.

Zelensky’s trip to the White House on Friday was abruptly cut short after his meeting with the US president and vice president devolved into a shouting match in front of the media. Trump and J.D. Vance accused the Ukrainian leader of “gambling with World War III” due to his reluctance to negotiate peace with Russia, and of being disrespectful and ungrateful for the substantial military aid provided to Kiev by Washington.

The visit was intended to finalize a minerals agreement between the US and Ukraine, but it was never signed as Zelensky demanded security guarantees and greater involvement in the conflict from the Trump administration.

“It became clearer to everyone than ever before who wants peace and who wants war; who wants to stop the killing and who wants to continue it; who stands on the grounds of common sense and who does not care for either human lives or billions of wasted euros,” Szijjarto wrote in a post on Facebook on Saturday about the heated exchange at the Oval Office, which US Secretary of State Marco Rubio described as a “fiasco.”

The foreign minister made it clear in his message that it is Zelensky, who wants “the war to just continue.”

“Trump’s stand for peace was the greatest moment of the past three years,” he insisted.

The US president told Zelensky on Friday that Ukraine was “running out of soldiers” and had no cards to play in the standoff with Russia. “Look, if you could get a ceasefire right now, I tell you, you take it, so the bullets stop flying and your men stop getting killed,” Trump said.

Szijjarto stressed in his post that the authorities in Budapest, who had been consistently calling for a diplomatic settlement of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, “hope that… Trump will make the US-Russian negotiations a success, because only a US-Russian agreement can bring peace back to our beloved Central Europe.”

Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova described Zelensky’s trip to the US as “a diplomatic and political failure” of the Kiev government. “With his outrageously boorish behavior” at the White House, the Ukrainian leader confirmed that he is “an irresponsible instigator of a major war” and “a most dangerous threat to the international community,” she wrote on Telegram on Saturday.

Zakharova also reiterated Moscow’s stance that a lasting peace can only be achieved “when the root causes of the conflict are fully eliminated.”
