New apps are constantly being created, so it’s important to monitor what your child downloads.

“The bad guy’s not just at the bus stop anymore. He has entrance right into your kid’s bedroom and hand-held cellphone device.” Sexual predators can target your children even when your child is in the room down the hall. And sexual predators aren’t the only problem. Cyber-bullying and exposures to sexually inappropriate content are additional concerns. Not everything in the app store is truly a helpful tool for the end user, unfortunately.

New apps are constantly being created, so it’s important to monitor what your child downloads. Mostly, it’s important to know what each and every app does, whether it has any benefits, and where they can expose your children to danger. Our focus here isn’t so much on the geocaching types of adventure apps (think Pokemon Go) where the dangers involve wandering without paying attention.

Mostly, we want to help parents become aware of the online tricks predators use. Here are some things to look for as you determine which apps you need to monitor, specifically the 9 most dangerous apps for kids today.

1. Whisper

This app allows you to post secrets anonymously and also allows you to chat with other users in your geographic area.

Why It’s Dangerous: Many children are drawn to communicating with strangers, feeling that their secrets are safer with them than with their friends. This app is a perfect tool for ill-intentioned strangers looking to connect with young people because it allows you to exchange messages with people nearest to you (so anonymity can be easily lost).

Conversation starter for Whisper – Why would you tell your secrets to strangers? If you are struggling with something, will a stranger care or be able to help you? Do you think it would be safe to accept their help/friendship?

All Yik Yak users are anonymous. They don’t create a profile or account, but they can post comments that are accessible to the nearest 500 people (within a 1-5 mile radius). A psychiatrist called this the most dangerous app he’d ever seen because it “can turn a school into a virtual chat room where everyone can post his or her comments, anonymously. Untruthful, mean, character-assassinating short messages are immediately seen by all users in a specific geographic area.”

Why It’s Dangerous: This app is causing problems in schools across the United States, with students maliciously slandering teacher, staff, and other students. In fact, several schools have now banned smart phones from campus because of this particular app.

A free app-based alternative texting service that allows texts/pictures to be sent without being logged in the phone history. (Similar apps: Viber, WhatsApp, TextNow)

Why It’s Dangerous – Makes it easier for your child to talk to strangers without your knowledge since it bypasses the wireless providers’ short message services (SMS). Children also think they can “sext” without parents finding out. In addition, strangers can send your child a “friend request.”

Conversation starter for any app – Are you being safe with that app? Are you encouraging others or tearing them down? Are you being bullied? Are you putting out too much information about yourself? Is this an app that brings God glory?

Allows you to capture an image or video and make it available to a recipient for a specific time. After that time limit is up, the picture/video automatically disappears forever…or so Snapchat claims. (Similar apps: Poke, Wire, and Wickr)

Why It’s Dangerous – Kids can receive (or send ) sexually inappropriate photos. This app also makes kids feel like they can “sext” or send inappropriate pictures without consequences because the image will self-destruct automatically. The truth is that nothing sent over the internet disappears. There are always ways to retrieve and capture those images.

Conversation starter for SnapChat – Why do you want to send pictures that disappear? Would you be okay with anyone seeing that pic?

Allows users to watch and post six second videos.

Why It’s Dangerous –While many of the videos are harmless, porn videos do pop up into the feed, exposing your children to sexually explicit material. You can also easily search for/access porn videos on this app. Predators utilize this app to search for teens and find their location. Then they try to connect with them via other messaging apps.

These apps allow you to video chat with strangers.

Why It’s Dangerous – Not only are users chatting with strangers, they could be chatting with a fake stranger. “Chat sites like Chatroulette and Omegle have done their best to produce systems that warns users when the people they are chatting to are potentially using fake webcam software, however developers still manage to slip under their radars with frequent updates.” So a fifty-year-old man could set up a fake webcam and use images from a 15-year-old boy that looks like a teen celebrity to convince your child to send inappropriate pictures or get information about your child’s location.

Users post pictures and scroll through the images of other users. When they think someone is attractive they can “flag” the image. If that person has also “flagged” them in return, the app allows you to contact them.

Why It’s Dangerous – This app, and similar apps such as Down, Skout, Pure, and Blendr, are primarily used for hooking up.

Hides other apps on your phone. You select which apps you would like to hide and their icons will no longer show up on your smartphone screen.

Why It’s Dangerous – If children have apps that they want to keep hidden from their parents, all they have to do is download this app and “poof,” their screen is clear of any questionable apps. So, if you see the poof app on their phone, you may want to ask them what they are hiding.

Remember, your child’s safety is more important than their privacy. As a parent, you aren’t being nosy by checking their cell phone on a regular basis; you are being responsible. Perhaps your family could establish family media rules, such as having to check with a parent before downloading a new app or game. Having a common charging area so you can easily check phones could also be a good system for your family.

Also, take the time to explain to them (at an age-appropriate level) why you are asking them questions and checking their phone and privacy settings. Many children do not realize just how much information they are putting out there and how dangerous it can be.

Christian parents are called to instruct their children in biblical wisdom (Deuteronomy 6:6-8) and today that includes teaching them to apply biblical wisdom to media. Teaching your children how to choose appropriate apps and use them responsibly is vitally important in our media-saturated world.

It’s Gotten Worse: New MRC Study Shows Media Bias Against Trump Has Hit New High – More Than 9/10 at Times

If you look hard enough, you can find a silver lining, even in the atrocious behavior of the establishment media.

Unfortunately, to find that silver lining, you must first sift through weeks of actual media coverage.

In a new study of ABC’s “World News Tonight,” “CBS Evening News,” and “NBC Nightly News,” analysts at Media Research Center found that from Jan. 7 to Jan. 17, those three networks’ coverage of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, agents’ ongoing operation in Minneapolis, Minnesota, rated as negative an unfathomable 93 percent of the time, exceeding the amount of negative coverage those same networks have given to President Donald Trump in recent years.

On Jan. 7, anti-ICE activist Renee Good lost her life after trying to impede an ICE operation with her vehicle. Video showed Good disobeying law enforcement’s orders to exit her vehicle and instead hitting the accelerator. The vehicle then struck an ICE agent, who opened fire, killing the 37-year-old activist.

After Good’s death, the usual suspects tried turning her into the latest leftist martyr. Those suspects included the media’s Democrat propagandists masquerading as journalists.

Of course, media attacks on ICE really are attacks on Trump. After all, those establishment journalists did not cover ICE this way during the presidencies of Barack Obama or Joe Biden.

In past years, according to outlets such as the Washington Examiner and The Washington Times, the three major broadcast networks’ negative coverage of Trump checked in at 92 percent. It looks, therefore, as if those networks have grown even more brazen and desperate in their spewing of anti-ICE propaganda.

So where does one find a silver lining in all this negativity?

First, those nightly news broadcasts resemble a dinosaur from a different geologic era. Aside from the aging baby boomers, who nowadays gets their news from ABC, CBS, or NBC? True, the Google algorithm boosts those networks’ online coverage, as it does for all left-wing outlets. Still, those nightly news broadcasts may — and should — soon face extinction.

Second, the media propagandists have fooled no one. Americans have been onto them for a long time.

On the social media platform X, for instance, one of the most common sayings is “you don’t hate the media enough” or some variation of it, followed by the latest example of media treachery.

Finally, while we cannot say that media bias has had no impact, it certainly has not proven decisive. After all, despite (because of?) relentless media attacks, Trump won two (three?) presidential elections.

In short, imagine controlling ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MS NOW, The New York Times, the Washington Post, Hollywood, the universities, etc. — in other words, almost every major source of information and opinion in America — for decades. Then, imagine that you still failed to persuade a majority of voters — how awful must you be?

Democrat media propagandists — at least in rare moments of honesty — must look in the mirror and ask themselves that question. And that has to rate as the brightest silver lining of all.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama has urged people to be “mindful” when buying from white-owned clothing brands.

During a recent interview clip circulating on social media, Obama says she actively tries to buy clothes from people of “color” in order to “make it a point.”

“If I hear of someone whose fashion that I like, and I know that they’re a person of color, I try to make it a point, but the clothes have to be available.”

“You know, I think we can all do some work to think about that balance in our wardrobes, you know.”

“What does our closet look like and who’s in it? Who are we supporting in it? You know, and I think if you have the money to buy Chanel, then you have the money to buy everybody.”

“And so let us be mindful, I think would be my advice.”

The suggestion is just one of numerous racially charged comments by Michelle Obama over recent years.

Last year, she claimed that Americans did not show her and her family “grace” because of their skin color, despite the fact her husband was elected in a landslide.

“You can’t afford to get anything wrong because you didn’t get the—at least until the country came to know us,” she said in an interview with NBC last October.

“We didn’t get the grace that I think some other families have gotten.”

Despite being repeatedly touted as a future presidential candidate, Obama recently put an end to that speculation on the grounds that Americans simply aren’t ready for a woman to lead the country.

“As we saw in this past election, sadly, we ain’t ready,” she said during an appearance at Brooklyn Academy of Music.

“That’s why I’m like, don’t even look at me about running, because you all are lying. You’re not ready for a woman. You are not.”

“You know, we’ve got a lot of growing up to do,” she continued. “And there’s still, sadly, a lot of men who do not feel like they can be led by a woman, and we saw it.”

MIC DROP: Gutfeld Obliterates the Left With BRUTAL Truth After Church Is Stormed by Radical Activists

Greg Gutfeld delivered one of the most savage and unapologetic monologues of his career—ripping the radical Left to shreds following the shocking storming of a church in Minnesota by far-left activists.

While the corporate media rushed to downplay or justify the desecration of a house of worship, Gutfeld did what no one else on television was willing to do: tell the truth.

Appearing on Fox News’ The Five, Gutfeld dismantled the Left’s narrative piece by piece, exposing what he described as a dangerous and hollow ideology driven not by compassion but by “suicidal empathy” and rescue delusions.

Gutfeld pointed out the staggering hypocrisy on display.

The same activists who invented “safe spaces” were now violently violating them, storming a church, frightening children, and harassing pastors.

These are the same people who call conservatives “fascists,” Gutfeld noted while behaving like authoritarian enforcers themselves.

They claim to defend women, yet defend men who abuse women.
They accuse others of hate, while hunting political enemies.
They preach tolerance, while terrorizing families at worship.

Perhaps the most damning question raised by Gutfeld was also the simplest:

Why weren’t the police there?

In every other high-risk protest scenario — Antifa vs. Proud Boys, Hamas supporters vs. Jewish students, pro-life activists vs. feminists — law enforcement separates opposing groups to prevent violence.

But not here.

Gutfeld suggested this was no accident.

The chaos, he argued, was allowed even encouraged to create a spectacle and advance a political storyline of “protesters versus persecutors,” no matter how dishonest that framing may be.

Gutfeld saved his most profound critique for the end.

These “rescue fantasies,” he explained, exist because leftist culture has stripped women and men of real, meaningful roles and replaced them with performative outrage.

Motherhood. Teaching. Community leadership. Service. Work. Faith.

All of it replaced with screaming at cops and livestreaming moral tantrums.

“Your life is meaningless unless you’re out there screaming in a cop’s face.”

He contrasted this with the rise of “Internet dads,” figures who encourage young men to find purpose through responsibility and discipline, and asked the obvious question: Where is the Internet mom?

Where are the women willing to guide younger women away from this spiritual void and back toward meaning?

Instead, these activists end up exactly where their ideology leads them: in a church, screaming at people, empty of purpose and overflowing with rage.

Greg Gutfeld:
This isn’t about immigration. It isn’t about ICE. It isn’t about Trump. It is about suicidal empathy that is driven by a rescue fantasy.

You have all of these young, middle-aged women going out there because they have some emptiness in them, going out there in this rescue delusion—helping people they don’t know, strangers who are guilty of crimes. How can you defend that?

This is not protesters going to a church. That is a mob. The people that invented the phrase “safe spaces” are breaking it, frightening kids. These are the people that call us fascists, and they’re hunting people. These are the people that claim to defend women, and yet are defending men who abuse women. These are the people that call us homophobic, and yet they want to out ICE guys for using—I don’t know—gay sex apps.

Let’s be honest here. Fry’s a pussy. He’s scared of these people, or else he would stand up for it, calling it love.

There’s no such thing as a mob with love. Imagine showing this tape to Don Lemon 10 years ago—15 years ago—and saying, “Is this where you saw yourself, Lemon? Crashing a church service? Scaring kids? Attacking a pastor? Was this your hope and dream—to do this?”

Radicalization is gradual. Black Lives Matter is now Bad Guys Matter. Now you’ll defend anything. You’re defending rapists. These are the people you’re defending. On what basis did I get to rapists? You had your chance. You brought this up.

Where are the police? When you have Hamas supporters and Jewish students, police make the separation. Antifa, Proud Boys—police make the separation. Pro-life activists and feminists—police make the separation. Somehow, that separation is not even here, even when the leaders are framing this as protesters versus persecutors, because that’s part of this fantasy world that you live in.

And yet they decide they don’t need cops to separate it. The ICE agents aren’t supposed to deal with that. That’s what the police do. You’ve got to ask yourself: why aren’t the police there? Because it’s a deliberate thing to create this. It’s a spectacle.

Then I’ll finish: this is not an isolated thing.

These rescue fantasies exist because the real power of women—which is in the roles of community, whether it’s wife, mother, work, teaching—that stuff has been marginalized by our modern leftist culture and has to be replaced by activism.

Your life is meaningless unless you’re out there screaming in a cop’s face. You have all these sad people out there, this liberation role-playing, and you’re egging it on. You should not be egging this on, Jessica.

This is a time for brave women. We saw the rise of the “Internet dad,” whether it was Elon Musk, Jordan Peterson, Mike Rowe, Scott Adams, Joe Rogan—people who decided to help young men find meaning in life, whether through service, hard work, or constructive activities.

Where is the Internet mom? The women who step up and show younger women a way out of this spiritual dead end—because it is a spiritual dead end—and how apt it is that they end up in a church screaming at people.

This activism doesn’t produce anything but suffering because it replaces what is truly meaningful in people’s lives. That’s what I meant about the backdrop. It is not about good.

It is not about the police officer. It’s about how we got here and why we’ve talked about this over and over again—whether it was George Floyd, whether it was ICE, whether it was the border guard with the whip. It’s all the same.

It’s a desire to be part of this rescue fantasy because your life’s so freaking empty.

New poll: 61% of white leftist women ages18-44 agree with obstructing law enforcement

I was asked by a friend to write something about what’s going on with leftist white women aged 18-44 these days. Everyone has seen the videos of these women using violence against federal law enforcement as they go about their duties removing violent criminals who should not be inside the USA. In this post, I’ll go over a few recent articles that talk about this problem, and identify the cause of it. I really hope this will help you.

First, a poll, reported by PJ Media:

Earlier this week, Kevin Downey Jr. wrote about what he calls “affluent white liberal women,” or AWFLs, pegging them as the biggest internal threat to America… well-off women with pronouns in their bios and too much time on their hands. He described them as attention-seeking harpies who push extreme gender ideology, drag their kids to medicalized gender clinics, and parade them at sexualized drag shows labeled as “family-friendly.” These are the same people, he argued, who want to defund the police, defend criminals no matter how violent or foreign, and censor anyone who steps out of line with their diversity-and-inclusion gospel.

In fact, recent polling from Cygnal supports his thesis in a significant way. According to the poll, around 24% of Americans overall think criminal action, including violence, is acceptable to stop federal immigration enforcement.

[…]But drill down to white liberal women ages 18 to 44, and that number explodes to 61%.

The poll helps to illustrate the general trend behind the specific videos of these women getting violent with the police. Far from being one or two cases, this is actually what 61% of white leftist women ages 18 to 44 agree with. Regular readers will know about the slide of young women into the radical, extremist left, because I’ve blogged about the surveys showing a worldwide trend of young women becoming more leftist. But it’s useful to have the up to date numbers.

It’s also significant that most of these women are extremely unhappy:

Turns out they’re miserable. The 2024 American Family Survey found that 37% of conservative women and 28% of moderate women between 18 and 40 reported being “completely satisfied” with their lives. For liberal women in the same age group, that figure collapses to just 12%. Liberal women are almost three times more likely than conservative women to experience loneliness multiple times a week, 29% compared to 11%.

I’ve blogged about that, and also about the majority of them are mentally ill and taking psychiatric medications for their mental illness.

This article from The Federalist by Joshua Slocum entitled “Why Leftist White Women Are Leading Domestic Terrorism In Minnesota” is exactly right in identifying the root cause:

At least 60 years of mainstreamed feminism has put American culture under the stiletto heel of entitled and exploitative women.

[…]How did so many leftist American women decide that young foreign men who jump the border are innocent victims in need of their maternal protection, instead of the American girls and young women entitled to be shielded from these men?

The answer appears to be Cluster B personality disorders. These are deep, ingrained characteristics. Those with such disorders are fundamentally narcissistic, emotionally unstable, and often disconnected from reality.

[…]This is what we’re seeing in these female leftist “protestors.” Cluster B personalities are all about dysregulated emotions (usually rage or suicidal despair) and twisting reality into its opposite.

If you don’t follow me on Twitter, then you might not have heard of Hannah Spier, M.D. who is a psychiatrist whose videos on Cluster B personality disorders and dark tetrad personality patterns have been extremely helpful to me in understanding white leftist women.

And Joshua Slocum actually proposes a solution to this problem. What’s the solution? We hold women accountable for their bad choices, instead of blaming the results of their bad choices on men.

He writes:

First, we must enact swift and proportionate consequences. For too long, leftist agitators, especially women, have been given the hands-off treatment. Too many of these videos show cops wasting time issuing repeated orders to stop the car and get out while the harpies behind the wheel only escalate. Give the order clearly once. If she disobeys, cuff her and put her in the paddy wagon.

[…]Second, we have to reject the “women are wonderful” effect. This is a phenomenon that describes how both men and women have an in-built pro-female bias. We can look at a man and a woman both performing the same bad action, but we’ll excuse the woman while condemning the man.

Ill-tempered women in America have gotten away with disorderly and criminal behavior at high rates because of this bias. They know it, and they use it deliberately. This woman was tailing ICE and interfering with their operation, pulled the “I’m just a mom!” card when she was caught and forced to stop. Don’t fall for it.

By the way, there’s a great recent article from The Federalist about Christians firing a man and paying a woman just over $1 million dollars for engaging in the exact same action.

But let us continue with Joshua Slocum:

Finally, men have to go back to telling women “no.” This is the piece of advice most people have the hardest time with. Women hate hearing it. Many men do, too. We’ve been so hypnotized for so long by feminism that simply telling women “no,” and suggesting that a man ever exercise authority over a woman, is read by otherwise reasonable people as “misogyny.”

Nonsense. If women are full adults with as much agency as men, then they must be treated that way. Men have become knock-kneed with fear, even contemplating telling women “no.” It’s not an unreasonable worry. In my counseling practice, male clients have told me that simply holding female underlings to the same standards as males has resulted in complaints to HR that the men are “aggressive” with women.

Men, I’m afraid we’re going to have to do it anyway. They’re going to call us misogynists. They’re going to tell us we have “an aggressive tone” with women. This is merely the same toddler distraction behavior that ends up exploding in these absurd and dangerous street performances.

Men are not going to get through this without the accusations, and we have to accept that as the price we pay for helping put civil society back in order. The women will be fine. Sooner or later, the stroppy toddler cries it out and starts behaving sanely again.

If you want a long-form explanation for what the underlying cause of this mental illness is, you should check out this article from Aporia Magazine, entitled “Sterile Polygamy”. In one line, white leftist women are going crazy because they have adopted a dating strategy that leaves them with no commitment, no children, and no long-term love relationships.

Here’s the important part:

At the 2018 peak, 28% of men under 30 reported no sex in the past year, compared to 18% of women.

On dating apps, women’s average match rate is 31%; men’s is 2.6% — a 12-fold difference. The most desirable men receive overwhelming attention while the majority receive almost nothing.

[…]The data is stark. Analysis of dating app behavior shows that women like about 14% of male profiles, whereas men like 46% of female profiles. The result is that a small percentage of men receive the vast majority of female attention. The top 10% of men get over half of all likes. The bottom 50% of men get about 5%.

[…]High-status men benefit from polygyny. Women may even prefer to share a high-status man over exclusive access to a low-status one.

[…]If you designed a system to maximize sexual access for high-status men while maintaining the pretense of monogamy, you couldn’t do better than the one we’ve built by accident.

[…]We’ve invented something different: effective polygamy without children. High-status men cycle through partners, but nobody reproduces. Why? Because reproduction requires the lock-in that marriage provides. Serial dating offers [high-status] men all the benefits of access with none of the costs of commitment. And women, waiting for commitment from [high-status] men who have no incentive to provide it, delay childbearing until it’s too late.

So, will we get any leadership on this from within the Christian community or the conservative community? I don’t see any reason why we should expect to. Our leaders are still harping about “Andrew Tate” and ignoring all of the real underlying problems caused by feminist laws, policies and indoctrination.

When I listen to Christian and conservative leaders, they seem to think that they can expect good men to date and marry 40-year-old single-mother feminists who have spent their 20s chasing the bad boys and becoming less and less attractive as wives. And these leaders have no interest in reforming injustices no-fault divorce, false accusations, biased domestic violence laws, paternity fraud, single mother welfare, etc. They can’t even name them! So, they’re just going to keep on insisting on a woman’s “right” to protection and provision from any man that she decides to settle for. When she is “ready”.

That’s not working. It will never work. We need a new strategy.

One of the keys to being successful in life is a strong work ethic.  No matter where you find yourself, if you are willing to work hard you are more likely to get ahead.  This is something that I have studied for many years.  Tom Brady, Michael Jordan and Jerry Rice were all born with physical gifts, but so were countless others.  The primary reason why Tom Brady, Michael Jordan and Jerry Rice are now considered to be some of the greatest athletes of all-time is because they simply worked harder than everyone else.  When Tom Brady came out of college, he didn’t have a gun for an arm and he was very slow.  He was not a highly regarded prospect, and so he was drafted in the sixth round of the NFL draft.  But once he got into the league, he worked like mad, and eventually he won seven Super Bowls.  If he had not been willing to work extremely hard, he could have easily faded into obscurity without ever accomplishing much of anything.

Have you noticed that a lot of young people today don’t want to work hard?

There are a lot of employers that specifically avoid hiring those that are fresh out of college because they have a reputation for being lazy.

Of course the reason why they are not inclined to work hard is because they have never been trained to work hard.

If kids do not learn self-discipline when they are young, they are not likely to learn it as adults.

That is why it is vital to create a structure that makes self-discipline a part of their normal routine.

Recently, a man named Carol Randolph Jr. shared a chores list that he was expected to complete as an 8-year-old boy in the early 1990s…

A chore list from a Philadelphia household in the early 90s has been praised by users on social media.

The list, posted on Threads by Carl Randolph Jr., (@fatcarl_sp) lays out daily, weekly and monthly expectations that began when he was just 8 years old.

His father, Carl Randolph Sr. wrote instructions for making the bed, completing homework, doing laundry, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, vacuuming, wiping down furniture, and even washing down the exterior of the house with a hose, weather permitting.

Carl Randolph Sr. was a single father, and so having a very strict routine was very important.

And by having all of the household tasks on a regular schedule, it ensured that everything ultimately got done…

What percentage of parents have a list of chores this extensive today?

Needless to say, that number would be really, really small.

So where did Carl Randolph Sr. get his work ethic?

Well, it turns out that he served in the U.S. Navy…

Before school, Carl Jr. was expected to make his bed, eat breakfast, check homework for “neatness and completeness” and be out the door before 6:50 a.m. In the comments, he clarified that his father was in the Navy.

Dishes could not be left in the sink. Trash had to be taken out and liners replaced. Even leisure time was conditional—earned once obligations were met. The tone is firm but not punitive, focused less on control and more on preparation.

“We had fun doing these duties, but he didn’t play about getting business done or breaking rules,” Carl Jr. said.

In those days, virtually anyone that served in the U.S. military was going to develop a very strong sense of self-discipline.

Of course much has changed since that time.

We have gotten soft as a society, and our system of education is completely failing our young people.

Just look at what is happening to ACT scores for college-bound seniors…

The level of education that our young people are receiving in our public schools is a joke.

And many of our young people have no moral foundation whatsoever.

Earlier this month, an 11-year-old boy in Pennsylvania shot his own father to death…

An 11-year-old boy faces homicide charges after shooting and killing his father in Perry County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

WGAL News 8 obtained court documents that reveal new details about what happened the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 13, in Duncannon Borough.

Officers responded to a home on South Market Street around 3:20 a.m. for an “unresponsive male” and found Douglas Dietz, 42, dead from a gunshot wound to the head, according to the documents.

I haven’t even told you the worst part yet.

It appears that he shot his own father to death because his Nintendo Switch had been taken away…

Clayton said he found the key in his father’s drawer and unlocked the safe in an attempt to find his Nintendo Switch, which was previously taken away from him, according to the documents.

Clayton admitted to “removing the gun from the safe, loading bullets into it and walking over to his father’s side of the bed,” the affidavit stated. “He pulled back the hammer and fired the gun at his father.”

We have raised an entire generation of ultra-coddled young people that are completely addicted to entertainment and that have never learned to fend for themselves.

As a result, one out of every five 30-year-old men in the United States still lives at home…

This is during a time of acute anxiety and curiosity about young men in America. Much ink has been spilled about their loneliness, their jawlines, their physical fitness and about being “performative males.” The prolific podcaster Scott Galloway’s book “Notes on Being a Man” jumped to No. 1 on the New York Times advice bestseller list when it was published in November and sparked fresh discussion about the “masculinity crisis.” (On “Today,” Savannah Guthrie asked Galloway why “this particular cohort — young men — have fallen so far so fast” as an infographic citing Galloway’s book noted that 1 in 5 30-year-old men still live at home.)

We wouldn’t be in this mess if we had taught our young people the value of hard work.

When I was born, it was very common for a 25-year-old man to already be married and own a home.

Today, it is extremely rare to find a 25-year-old man that is both married and a homeowner.

There was a time when Americans were known for their work ethic.

Sadly, those of us that have been around long enough to have experienced that are getting older with each passing day.

What do we do with a story like this? Mattel has introduced a new Barbie doll to their line. It’s an autistic Barbie, intended to “celebrate diversity.” There are already Barbies with Down syndrome, a blind Barbie, and dolls with vitiligo. But things like “blind” and “autism” aren’t things we see, exactly, and these dolls don’t do anything, so if it’s not a visible trait, how does a doll help? I understand that everyone needs respect, but is a Barbie doll the best way to encourage it? To me, it feels more like trivializing it. (And it’s ironic since Barbie historically excluded almost everyone “but the beautiful” as defined by … Barbie.)

Iranian Freedom
Iranians have been protesting their government loudly for two weeks now. They’re protesting economic decline and calling for a regime change and the return of Reza Pahlavi. So, as any civilized nation would do … Iran is killing protesters by the hundreds. Pahlavi is the crown prince of the last shah, but he’s not his father. He’s not in favor of “Monarchy 2.0.” He wants democracy for Iran. Clearly the current government is not in favor of Pahlavi … or their own people.

New York Attorney General Letitia James settled with a Jewish group she accused of trying to intimidate pro-Palestinian activists. Her “settlement” was to threaten them with a $50,000 penalty. “New York will not tolerate organizations that use fear, violence and intimidation to silence free expression or target people because of who they are,” she said … you know … like the pro-Palestinian protesters do by definition. Talk about double standards.

Butt Heads
California Governor Newsom is butting heads with Louisiana who is trying to get a doctor extradited for mailing illegal abortion drugs to a patient in Louisiana. Newsom says, “No!” He’s standing firm on being allowed to kill babies and will refuse to respect other states’ laws. Because killing babies is considered “reproductive health care services.” I can only imagine what the rest of their “health care” looks like when killing patients is classified as “health care services.”

As Trump threatens to annex Greenland (actual story), NATO is asking the U.S. for emergency funding to defend Greenland from the U.S. It doesn’t help that new recruitment ads say, “Visit lovely Greenland.” And, with the Supreme Court hearing a case on transgender athletes (actual story), SCOTUS has asked a five-year-old to explain the difference between boys and girls. Helpful … unless, of course, the five-year-old has already been inculcated by the latest gender insanity.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — With arguments being presented on issues that will have far-reaching effects on shaping the future of American laws, society, and culture, the other eight Supreme Court justices brought in Ms. Rachel to explain cases to Ketanji Brown Jackson.

The judges reportedly discussed a variety of potential solutions to mitigate Jackson’s intellectual shortcomings before deciding to hire the popular YouTube star and children’s educator to help Jackson better understand the complex cases being ruled on by the court.

“Hi, friend! Are you a… Supreme Court justice? You are! Yay! And you’re a woman of color! Witnesses in the courtroom reported seeing Justice Jackson clap excitedly at Ms. Rachel’s appearance. “She had the biggest smile on her face,” one source said. “It’s a great move by the other judges to bring in someone who has had a ton of experience and success in teaching uneducated people at a sub-kindergarten level. Having Ms. Rachel start with the basics, like colors, shapes, letters, and counting could be a game-changer for Ketanji. At the very least, it should cut down on some of her ridiculously dumb questions.”

Ms. Rachel reportedly saw the opportunity to privately tutor Justice Jackson as valuable preparation for her new role working with New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani. “She wants to get used to working with adults who are total morons,” one insider said.

At publishing time, the Supreme Court called a recess after a confused Justice Jackson asked Ms. Rachel if the guy who sings the songs on her videos is a man or a woman.

Today on The Five, Greg Gutfeld offered some tough love to the leftists currently protesting ICE.

Greg suggested that these people are living a lie, and used the specific example of Renee Good, who was shot by an ICE agent last week. He pointed out that if she was a member of your family and told her your plans that day, you might tell her not to do it, or that she needed an intervention.

He also said that the activist group that trained her should be sued for wrongful death.

Heritage Foundation Report Shows Family Breakdown in America is at a Potential Point of No Return

It’s no secret that the traditional family has been on the decline for years. Divorces, broken homes and declining birth rates have created numerous issues for American society.

The Heritage Foundation says that American families are facing troubles and that changing federal policy in favor of marriage and family is of utmost importance.

The Heritage Foundation, which is a conservative think tank, is encouraging changes in policy to help marriage and birth rates improve.

Their report states that policies put forth by the government should not only focus on fertility, but also on the importance of family formation.

A new report from the Heritage Foundation argues the American family is in crisis and that strengthening marriage and family formation should be a core focus of U.S. federal policy.

The conservative think tank calls for sweeping policy changes to reverse declining birth and marriage rates, including a proposed $2,500 investment account for every newborn child, as well as other proposals.

The report says government policies “should encourage and protect the formation of families, not mere fertility.”

“The country should not seek a mere boost in the number of children born or in the monetary support that parents receive, the report says. “Yes, the country needs more children. But it matters how and to whom children are born. Society depends on men and women who want to form families, that is, who freely want to marry, and then freely bear and nurture children.” Fox News Reported.

The foundation also concluded that decades of a cultural shift and public policy played a significant part in the decline of family formation. There was an increased number of kids growing up in homes where parents were not married. Economic and social problems were also contributors to the decline of the traditional family structure.

They made the case for the importance of the traditional family structure and said the family was “the foundation of civilization.” Traditional marriage, one man and one woman is considered the best option for raising kids.

Kevin Roberts, President of the Heritage Foundation, explained that the US is very close to not being able to reverse the trajectory of family decline if it continues in that direction.

He also said that the family decline on that downward trend will affect not only families, but also the country.

The report also addresses welfare and other government assistance programs and explains that they are designed to discourage a traditional family structure.

The foundation’s report calls for getting rid of marriage penalties in welfare programs and instead have a system in place to encourage traditional families.

The Musical Chairs Economy: When You Can’t Find A Job No Matter How Hard You Try, It Can Be Absolutely Soul Crushing | The Economic Collapse

After months of submitting resumes and filling out applications, many unemployed Americans have given in to despair.  Dozens of large companies all over the nation have been conducting mass layoffs, and the competition for any good jobs that do happen to be available has become extremely intense.  But if you have not lost your source of income, things may still seem fairly normal to you and you may be wondering what all of the fuss is about.  That is why I am calling this “the musical chairs economy”.  If you have been able to hold on to a chair each time the music stops playing, that is a good thing.  But you should also realize that there are millions of Americans that have been forced out of the game and are absolutely desperate to get back in.

Earlier today, I came across a social media post from a discouraged job seeker that really tugged at my heart…

In recent months I have heard so many stories like this.

Very highly qualified individuals feel like they are banging their heads into a wall because they can’t find work no matter how hard they try.

One unemployed worker named Tim Rogers that has been out of work for five months feels like the job applications that he is constantly submitting are going straight “into the abyss”…

I got laid off five months ago. Every morning I drink a pot of coffee while I write cover letters, tweak my résumé, and submit job applications into the abyss, knowing they will likely never be seen by human eyes—only crawled by the cold, lifeless algorithms of an artificial intelligence. I feel like General Zod from Superman, floating off into space trapped inside a two-dimensional phantom zone, screaming in silence about my job qualifications and core competencies.

The job market is a mess. The old system is broken and a functioning replacement has yet to fully emerge. We’re stuck in the between years—a dystopian digital doomscape that has job seekers and hirers picking through a landfill of A.I.-generated garbage and longing for the halcyon days of an analog past.

Some people are firing off hundreds or even thousands of resumes without hearing anything at all.

It can be extremely depressing when you feel like you are trying as hard as you can but you aren’t getting anywhere.

One woman that was laid off by Oracle in November 2023 still hasn’t been able to find work after more than two years…

I started at Oracle in January 2020 as a site reliability engineer. In November 2023, I started hearing that my Oracle coworkers were getting pulled into Zoom meetings and told they had been laid off. I hoped I wouldn’t be next, but I was. My entire team was let go.

I didn’t start looking for work right away because I’d received some severance pay, and I’d heard it was difficult to land a tech role during the holiday season. I took some time to reassess what I wanted from my career and began my job search in February 2024.

I was optimistic at first because most of my prior job searches hadn’t taken too long. As the months dragged on, it became clear I had the wrong impression of the tech hiring landscape.

More than two years after being laid off, I’m still unemployed.

It is January 2026 now.

After being unemployed for so long, her value in the marketplace has declined dramatically.

In this environment, it is so helpful to have a personal contact that can help you land a position.

Because in so many cases, the resumes and applications that job seekers fire off to potential employers are not even looked at by human eyes…

You did everything they told you to do. You earned the credentials, spent hours on your resume and revised multiple cover letters. You worked side gigs, volunteered, learned new software and perfected your LinkedIn profile. Yet, you can’t get a callback for an interview.

It’s as if your application vanished into the abyss of a company database, and the “thank you for applying” emails are piling up. So-called entry-level jobs now need years of experience, and junior roles expect postgraduate degrees.

You are likely wondering what you’re missing, but it’s not you — it’s the system. Across the United States, Canada and United Kingdom, automation now does the screening before a human ever has a look. Companies say they can’t find talent, yet many have stopped training people.

Unfortunately, it appears that conditions will become even harsher during the months ahead because things are certainly trending in the wrong direction.

In November, the number of job postings in the United States was the lowest in 14 months, and it was also the second lowest in nearly five years…

The number of postings in November was the fewest since September 2024. But outside that month, it was the lowest in nearly five years.

Open jobs in November fell sharply in shipping and warehousing, restaurants and hotels, and in state and local government.

As the job market continues to dry up, it is going to have enormous implications for the economy.

Americans just don’t have as much discretionary income as they once did, and as a result large retailers are closing locations all across the country.

And with fewer potential buyers floating around, home prices are starting to fall…

Housing market anxiety is spreading — with 26 of the country’s 50 biggest metro areas now seeing home prices lower than they were a year ago.

For the first time in nearly three years, the median US listing price has also slipped below $400,000, a key psychological level that had held firm since the pandemic boom, according to Realtor.com.

It appears that our housing bubble is starting to burst.

Sadly, home prices are declining the fastest in some of the markets that were once the hottest…

Worst is Austin, TX, where prices have plunged 7.3 percent over the past year to $462,000, the biggest drop of any major metro.

The pain is spreading well beyond Texas. Prices are down 6.7 percent in San Diego, CA slipping to just under $900,000, while nearby San Jose has seen values fall 5.5 percent to $1.19 million.

Needless to say, what we are currently experiencing is just the beginning.

Many of the economic trends that made big news in 2025 will continue to accelerate in 2026.

So if you are out of work right now, I would grab whatever you can, because competition for jobs is only going to get even fiercer during the months ahead.

Amid the bombardment, one of the targets deliberately struck was the mausoleum honoring the late dictator Hugo Chávez.

Chavez was the architect of the country’s so-called “Bolivarian Revolution” and turned it from the region’s wealthiest country to its poorest before his death in 2013.

Meanwhile, Nicolas Maduro and his wife have both been captured and are currently being flown to the U.S. where they will face a multitude of criminal charges, most notably for drug trafficking and potentially crimes against humanity.

During his 12 years in power, Maduro further cemented Hugo Chavez’s legacy.

As hyperinflation ravaged the spending power of ordinary Venezuelans, Maduro dismantled all the country’s remaining democratic institutions and stole numerous elections to cement his grip on power.

Trump confirmed the operation in a post on Truth Social.

“The United States of America has successfully carried out a large scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro, who has been, along with his wife, captured and flown out of the Country,” he wrote.

”This operation was done in conjunction with U.S. Law Enforcement. Details to follow.”

Trump added that a news conference will take place this morning at 11am at his Mar-a-Lago resort.

Maduro and his wife are extremely unlikely to see the light of day again.

SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler appears on Fox Business as the Trump administration announces the suspension of 6,900 Minnesota borrowers

The Trump administration’s Small Business Administration announced Thursday that it has suspended 6,900 Minnesota borrowers after uncovering a widespread suspected fraud tied to COVID-19 relief programs.

According to the agency, an internal review of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) approvals in Minnesota revealed nearly $400 million in potentially fraudulent loans—money that was supposed to keep small businesses afloat and American workers employed during the pandemic.

SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler said the agency reviewed thousands of pandemic-era loans approved in Minnesota and identified 7,900 PPP and EIDL loans connected to the suspended borrowers.

In a blunt statement posted to X, Loeffler laid out the scope of the action:

“Over the last week, SBA has reviewed thousands of potentially fraudulent pandemic-era PPP and EIDL loans approved in Minnesota.

Today, our agency took action to suspend 6,900 Minnesota borrowers amid suspected fraudulent activity. In total, these borrowers were approved for 7,900 PPP and EIDL loans worth approximately $400M.

These individuals will be banned from all SBA loan programs, including disaster loans, going forward. We will also refer every case, where appropriate, to federal law enforcement for prosecution and repayment.

After years, the American people will finally begin to see the criminals who stole from law-abiding taxpayers held accountable – and this is just the first state.”

Loeffler made clear that Minnesota is only the beginning.

In a follow-up post, she added:

“The suspected MN fraudsters that SBA suspended yesterday took out nearly 8,000 loans totaling $400 million during the pandemic.

It’s why we’re investigating every socialist welfare state where criminal networks thrived at the expense of law-abiding job creators and taxpayers.”

During an interview on Fox News, Loeffler emphasized that while most pandemic loans were legitimate, the sheer scale of fraud cannot be ignored.

“Out of $1.2 trillion that went out through SBA funds during COVID — now remember, these COVID-era loans helped millions of small businesses keep millions of employees on their payroll. Most were legitimate. But the fact is we had organized crime operating around these, like we see with the Somali crime ring in Minnesota,” Loeffler said.

“We have gone back through loans that the Biden administration tried to forgive that were known to be fraudulent. That’s why we already had 13,000 that we knew had been marked as fraudulent. We’re able to find quickly 8,000 of those and make sure that they cannot benefit from our services. But now, as I mentioned, we’re going to do that state by state. We are going to make sure that we understand the breadth, the depth, and the methods of these crimes — and that we hold more states accountable.”

Happy New Year!  What do you think 2026 will bring?

This is the day we launch our annual contest for who can make the best prediction.  This year we will raise the stakes:  You will be competing against AI.

First, here are the terms of the contest:

The custom on this blog on New Year’s Day is for readers to predict what they think will happen over the course of the year ahead. Then, once the year is over, on or around the next New Year’s Eve, we will revisit those predictions and see who made the best one. . . .

The predictions can be weighty or light, serious or whimsical. Winning predictions will likely be highly specific. They tend to seem highly unlikely at the time they are made, but then, to our surprise, they happen anyway. The winning prediction makes us think, “How could anyone possibly know THAT was going to happen?”

The most noteworthy such prediction was made by Bernankeisglutenfree, who predicted that in 2020 a disease originating in Asia would create havoc around the world.  For predicting COVID, we named the prize after him: the Gluten Free Award, which exists only virtually and in our minds, having no monetary value whatsoever.

Also,  these are predictions, not prophecies that claim supernatural authority.  The Deuteronomy 18:21-22 principle will not be enforced.

I’ll post my predictions in the comments like everyone else.  This year we will add a wrinkle. In the 2024 contest, skyorrichegg had the bright idea of asking AI its predictions for the year.  He put the parameters in ChatGPT and asked it for 15 predictions.  Among the fairly accurate predictions, most of which were about technology and were fairly obvious, AI predicted the following:

1. A new trend emerges where people claim to communicate with plants on a deep emotional level.

2. A tech company releases a smartphone app claiming to predict users’ needs before they are aware of them.

3. Insect protein becomes very common and popular. High-end gourmet restaurants add menu items prominently featuring insect protein with culinary experts raving about the unique flavors and textures offered by insect cuisine.

Those did not happen, to put it mildly.  At the time, AI was fairly new and it has supposedly gotten better.  So I just now entered the above rules into today’s version of ChatGPT and asked for five predictions.  Here they are:

• A major Hollywood studio will release a theatrically distributed feature film whose screenplay credit is formally listed as “Human author with AI assistance,” and the Writers Guild will publicly accept that phrasing without protest.
  Not a loophole, not a scandal—an explicit, negotiated credit that becomes a precedent.
• A U.S. Supreme Court opinion in 2026 will contain a footnote explicitly addressing generative AI hallucinations and warning lower courts not to rely on AI-generated legal summaries without verification.
  The footnote will be widely quoted and instantly canonical in law reviews.
• A prominent evangelical or mainline Protestant denomination will issue an official pastoral statement discouraging congregants from forming “emotionally significant relationships” with AI companions.
  The document will not mention sex at all—and will therefore be mocked for exactly that reason.
• A previously obscure regional airline will experience a viral surge after a single passenger’s offhand complaint on social media accidentally reveals an unusually generous refund policy.
  The airline will change the policy within weeks, but not before reporters document dozens of people exploiting it.
• A professional sports game (NFL, NBA, MLB, or NHL) will be paused mid-play because an AI-operated officiating or analytics system produces a visibly absurd real-time ruling that no human official can immediately explain.
  The clip will be replayed endlessly, and the phrase “we’re waiting on the algorithm” will briefly become a cultural punchline.

OK.  Rather AI-heavy, but that’s to be expected.  Surely you can do better than that!  For the sake of humanity, you must do better than that!

Will AI make more accurate predictions than human beings?  Can actual intelligence defeat artificial intelligence?  Are machines smarter than people?  We will find out.  It is  up to you to represent the human race.  This may be our last chance.

HHS Freezes Childcare Payments Nationwide After Bombshell Somali-Linked Daycare Fraud Allegations In Minnesota | ZeroHedge

The Department of Health and Human Services is freezing all federal childcare payments to every state following alleged Somali-linked welfare fraud involving Minnesota daycare and autism centers. These revelations shocked the nation earlier this week after being exposed by citizen journalist Nick Shirley.

A growing army of citizen journalists is descending into corrupt, Democratic-run states this week, where additional suspected welfare fraud schemes tied to migrant networks are being uncovered – even as corporate media outlets attempt to downplay the findings and discredit those reporting them. Legacy media has acted as a public relations arm for the Democratic Party in an attempt to discredit anyone investigating suspected fraud.

By Tuesday, Shirley’s viral exposé of suspected Minneapolis daycare fraud had surpassed 100 million views on X and sparked a massive shift in public sentiment, creating broader support for HHS’ efforts to stop fraud, waste, and abuse. That public sentiment enabled HHS to take decisive action.

The action phase began Tuesday when HHS froze all federal childcare funding for Minnesota, citing rampant fraud allegations attributed to Somali-linked daycare operators. By Wednesday night, the funding suspension had been expanded nationwide.

ABC News was the first to report HHS’ move to cut all federal funding to daycares nationwide until operators can prove their legitimacy.

An HHS official said the funds will be released “only when states prove they are being spent legitimately.” There were no further details or more information about the paperwork proof the agency requires from the states. It is assumed this will be addressed in an upcoming memo.

HHS spokesperson Andrew Nixon told ABC News that recipients of funding who are “not suspected of fraudulent activity” are required to send HHS their “administrative data” for review.

HHS’ approach is very similar to the Small Business Administration’s move last month, when it issued letters to all contractors in the 8(a) Business Development Program, the nation’s largest DEI program, requesting financial records to root out fraud, waste, and abuse. SBA also halted grants to the state-run by what appear to be very corrupt and hinged Democrats.

Nixon said that recipients of federal funding in Minnesota, as well as those “suspected of fraudulent activity,” must provide HHS with additional records, including attendance logs, licensing documents, inspection and monitoring reports, and records of complaints and investigations.

“It’s the onus of the state to make sure that these funds, these federal dollars, taxpayer dollars, are being used for legitimate purposes,” Nixon told the outlet.

What’s shocking is that CNN is more driven to prove Shirley wrong.

California Governor Gavin Newsom has backed down on federal enforcement of commercial driver’s license revocations, announcing a delay in the cancellation of 17,000 commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs) issued to immigrant drivers — now postponed until March 6, 2026.

The move comes only after immigrant advocacy groups filed a federal lawsuit and secured a temporary reprieve against the state’s efforts to comply with federal safety and immigration rules.

The Gateway Pundit reported in November that California’s Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) had confessed to illegally handing out 17,000 non-domiciled Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs) to dangerous foreign drivers who have no business operating massive semitrucks or school buses on American roads.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy blasted California for “illegally issuing 17,000 commercial driver’s licenses” to individuals whose credentials did not meet federal requirements, even threatening to withhold up to $160 million in federal highway funds if the state refused to act.

“After weeks of claiming they did nothing wrong, Gavin Newsom and California have been caught red-handed. Now that we’ve exposed their lies, 17,000 illegally issued trucking licenses are being revoked,” said U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy. “This is just the tip of the iceberg. My team will continue to force California to prove they have removed every illegal immigrant from behind the wheel of semitrucks and school buses.”

Each of the 17,000 non-domiciled CDL holders has been issued notice that their license will expire within 60 days, as it no longer meets federal requirements.

FMCSA is now requiring the California DMV to hand over a full audit of all non-domiciled CDLs to verify that every unlawfully issued license is revoked and that the state corrects the systemic failures that allowed this fraud to occur.

Federal auditors found that over one in four foreign driver records sampled in California failed to comply with federal law, including CDLs that extended beyond the expiration of a foreign worker’s visa, a blatant violation of federal safety regulations.

Now, the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) confirmed that the previously scheduled cancellation, originally set to begin in early January, will now be deferred while legal challenges play out in court.

This stunning reversal follows a wave of legal filings by organizations such as the Asian Law Caucus and the Sikh Coalition, who rushed to court arguing that the state’s actions threatened the livelihoods of thousands of “hard-working” immigrant truck drivers and bus operators.

Their lawsuit claimed that the DMV’s enforcement actions were unlawful and violated due process, alleging that drivers were not financially or legally equipped to respond to abrupt cancellation notices.

Newsom’s announcement provides additional breathing room for the state, which had been under immense pressure from the Trump Administration — and the U.S. Department of Transportation — to clean up a disastrous licensing program that federal auditors found had issued CDLs beyond the lawful terms of the drivers’ immigration status.

The Sikh Coalition, a national group defending the civil rights of Sikhs, and the San Francisco-based Asian Law Caucus filed a class-action lawsuit on behalf of the California drivers. They said immigrant truck drivers were being unfairly targeted. The driver in the Florida crash and the driver in another fatal crash in California in October are both Sikhs.

Immigrants account for about 20% of all truck drivers, but these non-domiciled licenses immigrants can receive only represent about 5% of all commercial driver’s licenses or about 200,000 drivers. The Transportation Department also proposed new restrictions that would severely limit which noncitizens could get a license, but a court put the new rules on hold.

Mumeeth Kaur, the legal director of the Sikh Coalition, said this delay “is an important step towards alleviating the immediate threat that these drivers are facing to their lives and livelihoods.”

It can be recalled that Harjinder Singh, an illegal alien truck driver, killed three Americans after he made an illegal U-turn on a Florida highway.

The Punjabi driver who obtained his truck driving license (CDL) in the Democrat-run sanctuary state of California made an insane U-turn on Florida’s Turnpike near Fort Pierce that caused the deadly crash.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy revealed Singh failed English and couldn’t read road signs.

Another Indian illegal immigrant also faced three counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and reckless driving for allegedly causing a collision last month on the westbound 10 Freeway in San Bernardino County, California.

Jashanpreet Singh, 21, is accused of crashing a semi-truck into traffic, where three people were killed and four were injured.

Singh faced 17 years in prison, but that was downgraded to 10 after it was discovered he was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, something authorities originally claimed.

In November, another criminal, an illegal alien semi-truck driver who obtained a CDL in California, killed two people in Bend, Oregon, after jackknifing the trailer.

The DHS said Rajinder Kumar was released into the interior of the US by the Biden Administration. He obtained a CDL by California Governor Gavin Newsom’s DMV.

“Rajinder Kumar, a criminal illegal alien from India, was released into our country under the Biden administration and issued a commercial driver’s license by Gavin Newsom’s Department of Motor Vehicles. How many more senseless tragedies must take place before sanctuary politicians stop allowing illegal aliens to dangerously operate semi-trucks on America’s roads?” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.

Biden Housing Scandal EXPLODES: HUD Report Reveals Over $5 Billion in Questionable Rental Aid, Including Payments to Dead People and Non-Citizens

A bombshell federal report has blown the lid off yet another massive Biden-era taxpayer scandal — this time inside the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

According to HUD’s own Fiscal Year 2025 Agency Financial Report, more than $5 billion in rental assistance payments during the final year of the Biden regime were flagged as “questionable” or improper, exposing systemic failures, nonexistent oversight, and breathtaking incompetence at the federal level.

Among the most jaw-dropping revelations: tens of thousands of payments were made to people who were already DEAD, and thousands more went to recipients who may not have even been eligible to receive taxpayer-funded housing assistance at all, the New York Post first reported.

Buried in the HUD report is a stunning admission that federal systems failed to stop payments to 30,054 deceased individuals who were either still listed as active tenants or continued receiving rental assistance after their deaths.

HUD officials acknowledged that only after cross-checking Treasury databases did they finally identify the scope of the problem — meaning for years, taxpayers were unknowingly footing the bill for people who no longer exist.

“[Over] 30,000 dead people receiving housing isn’t an accident — it was systematic fraud by Biden and the left. HUD will hold those who defrauded the American taxpayers accountable,” HUD Secretary Scott Turner wrote on X.

According to the report:

HUD used an automation that compared a U.S. Department of the Treasury (Treasury) database to HUD’s records to automatically flag deceased tenants still listed in rental assistance programs. Using the automation, HUD identified 30,054 deceased tenants either actively enrolled in a rental assistance program at the time of the analysis or who had received assistance after they died. Using the automation and the Treasury database allows HUD to better confirm that taxpayer money is going where it should and take actions to keep it from going where it shouldn’t.

The report further states that $5.8 billion in rental assistance payments were flagged for serious eligibility concerns, including:

• Payments tied to incomplete or missing tenant documentation
• Inability to verify citizenship or lawful eligibility
• Weak or nonexistent cross-checks with federal databases
• Years-long failures in internal controls and oversight

HUD officials acknowledged that thousands of recipients may not have been eligible non-citizens, yet payments continued to flow anyway.

According to the report:

HUD reviewed the FY 2024 rental assistance payments total of $50.4 billion, which identified payments to deceased tenants and to tenants with invalid social security numbers.

For the first time, HUD evaluated all 4+ million tenant records and the registration status of more than 21,000 recipient organizations, uncovering eligibility issues affecting more than 200,000 tenants and identifying questionable payments totaling $5.8 billion (including approximately $4.3 billion (26.4%) of PBRA payments and $1.5 billion (4.4%) of TBRA payments).

Even more damning, HUD’s leadership openly admitted in the report that financial controls deteriorated under the Biden administration, creating “material weaknesses” in governance, data integrity, and payment oversight.

The report describes:

• Absent or ineffective internal controls
• Poor governance structures
• Lack of enforcement priorities
• Failure to stop improper payments in real time

These failures directly enabled billions of dollars to be wasted, money that could have gone to American citizens, veterans, seniors, and the truly needy.

HUD officials told the Post that a “large concentration” of these questionable rental assistance funds flowed to Democrat-run strongholds, including:

• New York
• California
• Washington, D.C.

Yet payments to deceased recipients were found in all 50 states, proving the rot was nationwide.

“For four years, the left abused American taxpayers, and now light is exposing darkness from Minnesota to D.C. to N.Y. to California,” Turner wrote on X.

In a statement to the Post, Turner said, “A massive abuse of taxpayer dollars not only occurred under President [Joe] Biden’s watch, but was effectively incentivized by his administration’s failure to implement strong financial controls resulting in billions worth of potential improper payments.”

He added, “HUD will continue investigating the shocking results and will take appropriate action to hold bad actors accountable. Additionally, the Department is advancing efforts made under President Trump’s first administration to strengthen program integrity and ensure taxpayer-funded assistance serves the vulnerable communities it was intended for.”

The around 11% of taxpayer dollars from HUD went to more than 200,000 possibly ineligible tenants — of whom 29,715 (around 14%) were dead, 9,472 (4%) were non-citizens and 165,393 (82%) were receiving sums that exceeded the threshold for assistance in their geographic region, particularly in New Orleans and other large metro areas.

HUD officials faulted the Biden administration for a directive “to push funding out the door with minimal oversight” as well as rent assistance programs placing “substantial trust and responsibility in these non-federal entities … to accurately assess tenant eligibility.”

Now, HUD will have to reach out to the public housing authorities and other entities to confirm the extent of the fraud — and either pause or revoke funding. Officials will also make criminal referrals when warranted.

Between October 2023 and September 2024, $33 billion was spent on Tenant-Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) for more than 4 million households and $16 billion was spent on Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA) — all of which the audit reviewed.

The more than 200,000 tenants were flagged for eligibility issues as part of the $1.5 billion in TBRA payments from HUD, while roughly $4.3 billion (26.4%) of all PBRA payments also had eligibility issues.

By now, nearly everyone has seen, or at least heard of, Nick Shirley’s viral video uncovering fraud at several Minnesota daycare centers. The video has been viewed more than 100 million times and has triggered intensified federal and state investigations. The controversy has placed Governor Tim Walz’s administration under national scrutiny after First Assistant U.S. Attorney Joe Thompson stated in December that half or more of the roughly $18 billion in federal funds sent to Minnesota since 2018 may have been stolen.

Nick Shirley has been dismissed by some outlets as a right-wing video blogger and labeled an islamophobe pushing anti-immigrant hate. Meanwhile, Somali-linked fraud has been uncovered across multiple programs, ranging from immigration fraud to funding for daycare and food assistance, housing services, and autism programs.

Shirley’s video featured Quality Learning Center, a facility with a misspelled sign reading “Quality Learing Center,” that is licensed for 99 children. State records show Quality Learning Center received $7.8 million in federal taxpayer funds since 2019, with Shirley contending the center received $1.9 million in 2025 alone.

The facility accumulated 95 violations between 2019 and 2023, ranging from “failure to keep hazardous items away from children” to “no records for 16 children.” In 2022, DHS placed the facility on a conditional license for two years beginning June 8, 2022.

Commissioner Tikki Brown initially stated that Quality Learning Center had permanently closed, but a department spokeswoman later said the center had “decided to remain open.” KARE 11 cameras captured dozens of children being dropped off at the daycare, with parents claiming it was still operating.

According to one investigation, by August 1, 2025, a restaurant, Albi Kitchen, opened at the same licensed address, replacing the daycare’s physical operation. Yet as of January 1, 2026, the daycare license was marked “Renewed” and remains Active, preserving eligibility for CCAP payments.

Ibrahim Ali, a manager at Quality Learning Center who said his parents own the facility, told KARE that Shirley’s video was recorded when the business was scheduled to be closed, noting a sign on the door listing operating hours from 2 to 10 p.m. He claimed, “There’s no fraud going on whatsoever.”

Media attacks on Shirley, or claims that the story is untrue, ignore the fact that the Somali-linked daycare fraud had already been uncovered and reported by other outlets, including local media.

A 2018 Fox 9 report alleged as much as $100 million annually was being misappropriated and possibly diverted to terrorist groups in East Africa, though a 2019 Legislative Auditor report found “no evidence” to support those claims and determined the total stolen was between $5 million and $6 million.

KSTP Twin-Cities journalist Jay Kolls reported in January 2025 on 62 investigations underway involving federally-funded Minnesota child care centers. Kolls repeatedly visited facilities only to find locked doors and no people, much less children on site. The first company Kolls mentioned was Quality Learning Center, with DHS records indicating a licensing investigation has been underway since October 2024, with reviews and fines dating back to 2021. This is the same daycare that Nick Shirley featured prominently in his video.

State officials identified early signs of fraud as far back as July 2019. When Minnesota’s Department of Education attempted to stop payments in December 2020, Feeding Our Future sued the state, and a judge ruled that there was no legal basis to halt the payments. The lawsuit alleged racial discrimination, which discouraged further investigation and reporting on the issue.

The daycare revenue flowed through the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), a state-federal program that provides subsidies to help low-income families afford childcare. CCAP funding is based on the number of eligible children enrolled at a facility, not its total capacity. According to DHS rate tables for 2024, a Minneapolis daycare could bill between $70 and $110 per child per day, depending on the child’s age and the facility’s rating.

Between 2018 and 2025, CCAP funding rose from approximately $285 million to more than $520 million, while the total number of program-certified children rose less than ten percent, meaning the cost per child nearly doubled. Over the same period, DHS recorded a tripling of “serious violations” among licensed providers, from roughly 150 centers in 2018 to more than 450 by 2025.

The state Department of Human Services says CCAP payments to daycare facilities can be withheld for fraud, but not for “licensing violations alone.” Payment eligibility is tied to licensing status, not real-time verification of operations. As long as the license remains active, reimbursement eligibility remains intact unless the state intervenes.

Over the years, many people have been charged and convicted of defrauding CCAP, but whenever reporters or investigators raised questions about large-scale fraud, they were derided by state Democrats and much of the local legacy media. Reports were dismissed as exaggerated or outright racist. KARE-11 ran the headline, “Child care fraud exists, but doesn’t live up to claims,” while the Star Tribune reported, “Fraud in Minnesota’s child care program not $100 million but still troubling.”

The first major scandal involving fraudsters in the Somali community began in 2015, when three Minneapolis daycare centers were raided by police and accused of overbilling CCAP. Investigators discovered operators billing for more children than were actually present. By 2017, investigators had filed charges against 10 daycare operators.

Since 2021, the Child Care Audits and Investigations unit has referred about five cases a year to law enforcement and stopped payments to 79 child care providers. Despite a history of reporting and documented fraud, CNN described Shirley as a “YouTube content creator who has created anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim videos in the past,” and claimed the video “includes limited evidence for the creator’s allegations.” CNN said his rise reflects “the growing power of the right-wing media ecosystem, largely fueled by independent creators whom the president has favored over traditional news networks.”

Fox News fully embraced the story and interviewed Shirley multiple times. CNN, CBS, and NBC covered the story but characterized him as a “right-wing” or “MAGA” journalist with skepticism about his methods. The New York Times and Washington Post initially ignored his specific video investigation. Conservative media gave him extensive coverage. Newsweek did multiple articles and appears to have reached out to him.

In a post-truth world, if reality fails to match ideology, reality is rejected, and in the current climate of polarization, once a conservative says something, it becomes untrue. By the standards of the past five years, Democrats can claim that Minnesota’s benefits oversight system is the most secure in American history, that diversity is our strength, and that we need the Somalis.

The sprawling fraud scandal tied to taxpayer-funded childcare and welfare programs is no longer confined to Minnesota.

New evidence suggests the same red flags are now flashing in Washington State, where hundreds of Somali-run childcare centers allegedly operate without even listing a physical address.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported on independent journalist Nick Shirley and his explosive investigation into alleged large-scale fraud involving Somali-run daycare centers in Minnesota.

Shirley shared clips from his reporting on X, including footage of a childcare facility that claimed to serve 102 children—yet appeared completely empty—before staff abruptly slammed the door in his face.

Shirley released the full 42-minute video of his investigation, noting, “We uncovered over $110,000,000 in ONE day. Like it and share it around like wildfire!

Internet researcher Kristen Mag posted findings on X showing that, according to a Washington state government database, hundreds of childcare centers listing Somali as their primary language do not include a physical street address.

“There are 539 childcare centers in Washington state that list Somali as the primary language. Most don’t even give a street address,” Mag wrote.

“I don’t know how many of these are submitting fraudulent claims for state grants and subsidies, but I have a strong hunch the number is not zero.”

Mag demonstrated the issue in a video, scrolling through the official database and highlighting missing address fields.

She noted that Washington state lists a total of 5,046 childcare centers, meaning more than 10 percent list Somali as the primary language, with a heavy concentration in the Seattle-Tacoma and Western Washington region.

“Clarification: 5046 is the total number of childcare centers participating in the Early Achievers state ratings program. Care providers must be participating in Early Achievers to be eligible for state subsidies and grants,” she added.

Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk weighed in on the Washington findings, replying on X: “They are fraud-maxxing this exploit.”

Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn issued a blunt, unmistakable warning to the political establishment, and a direct challenge to Donald Trump.

Flynn’s message is not polished Beltway rhetoric. It is raw. It is furious.
