October 19th The D. L. Moody Year Book

My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.—Philippians 4:19.

LOOK at these words carefully. It does not say He will supply our wants. There are many things we want that God has not promised to give. It is our need, and all our need.

My children often want many things they do not get; but I supply all they need, if it is in my power to do it. I do not supply all their wants by any means. And so, though God may withhold from us many things that we desire, He will supply all our need. There can come upon us no trouble or trial in this life, but God has grace enough to carry us right through it, if we will only go to Him and get it. But we must ask for it day by day. “As thy days, so shall thy strength be.”[1]

October 19 Life-Changing Moments With God

The Lord will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught.

Lord, surely the wrath of man shall praise You; with the remainder of wrath You shall gird Yourself. The king’s heart is in Your hand, Lord, like the rivers of water; You turn it wherever You wish. When my ways please You, You make even my enemies to be at peace with me.

I wait for You, Lord, my soul waits, and in Your word I do hope. My soul waits for You, Lord, more than those who watch for the morning—yes, more than those who watch for the morning. I sought You, Lord, and You heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

You, eternal God, are my refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms; You will thrust out the enemy from before me, and will say, “Destroy!” I am blessed for I trust in You, Lord, and my hope is in You.

What then shall I say to these things? If God is for me, who can be against me?

Your Word reveals wonderful reasons for me to be confident in You. I praise You, Lord God, for being my Refuge, my Strength, and my Deliverer.

False Teachers and Prophets, Part 7 — Study – Grow – Know

In part six of this series, we highlighted the problem of the “name it, claim it” camp of people within Christendom. God will give us whatever we want, they say, as long as we ask in faith. If you happen to be at a church where this is taught, I suggest that you find another church quickly.

Today, I want to highlight another error that has come into and remains embedded within segments of the visible church. That error is Oneness Pentecostalism or Oneness Theology (since you don’t have to be a Pentecostal to embrace this). This is the belief that God is not three separate Persons in One Divinity, but God is simply one Person who at times poses as Jesus, at other times poses as God the Father and still at other times, as the Holy Spirit.

In other words, people who embrace this heretical view are essentially anti-Trinitarian. Most are aware that the Jehovah’s Witness cult embraces Oneness theology because they deny that God is three in one. To them the Trinity represents polytheism; the belief in more than one God.

Oneness theology also maintains that baptism is a necessary part of salvation; that is, in order to be saved, one must be baptized and by immersion.  If you are not baptized, you cannot be saved.  However, not only must baptism be by immersion but also it must be administered with the formula “In Jesus’ name” rather than the formula “In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit” which is mentioned in Matthew 28:19. Finally, this baptism must be administered by a duly ordained minister of a church that maintains Oneness theology:  United Pentecostal, United Apostolic, etc.”

For the people who believe and embrace this error, the thief on the cross could not have been saved because even though Jesus told him he would be joining Him (Jesus), that day in paradise, the thief had absolutely no way of getting off the cross and being baptized through immersion.

Put another way, what we are basically talking about here is the heresy of Modalism. This heresy goes back into history to the second and third centuries with Praxeas and Sabellius respectively. Generally people who hold to Modalism accuse the rest of us of worshipping many “gods” because we worship the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

To reiterate, when Jesus lived on the earth, that was God in the flesh. When He ascended into heaven, that was God, the Father. When the Church was born in Acts 1 & 2, that was God as the Holy Spirit; all the same Person, simply posing with another identity. What is strange of course then is why Jesu would take any time at all to pray to God the Father. So Modalism doesn’t point to separate individuals of the same Godhead, but denotes different representations of existence for the same Person; who is always just one person as God.

One of the more well known proponents of Modalism is a man who is known throughout the world as a great preacher, who has sold millions of books and whose face is recognized wherever he goes. That person is T. D. Jakes. Jakes pastors a church that has over 17,000 people who attend. Interestingly enough when you read part of his statement of faith, unless you’re paying very close attention, you won’t really see the problem.

THREE DIMENSIONS OF ONE GOD…Triune in His manifestation, being both Father, Son and Holy Ghost AND that He is Sovereign and Absolute in His authority. We believe in the Father who is God Himself, Creator of the universe. (Gen. 1:1; John 1:1). [1]

The above statement came from T D Jakes’ Potter’s House Statement of Faith from 1998. This was changed later to read the following way.

There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. [2]

If you glance over that quickly without paying a great deal of attention, you might not see anything wrong with it. Notice though in both cases, the word “manifestations” is used, along with the phrase “three dimensions” in the earlier version of that statement.

Both “dimensions” and “manifestations” are problematic because they suppresses the truth by making it seem as though there are three separate and distinct Persons in the Trinity. However, a close examination reveals that the statement says that God manifests or “shows Himself” as either the Father, the Son or the Holy Spirit at different times. This is also the meaning behind the use of the phrase “three dimensions.”

Isn’t it amazing how error, once it makes its way into Christendom, even though it is thoroughly rebuked and debunked by Christian leaders and even church councils in history, continues to gain new followers? It doesn’t seem to matter what the error is either. There are always new people from a new generation willing to embrace those errors in spite of how often those errors are clearly denounced and do not line up with the truth of Scripture.

This is exactly why idolatry and other problems continued to exist within the Israel that left Egypt. With each new generation, they often looked back and gravitated toward the same errors that their fathers participated in. The same holds true for these errors today that began even while the apostles lived! Each new generation finds gullible people who are willing to take them up and carry them again, teaching them to people from that generation.

If you take a look at the pastoral staff page of the Potter’s House, you’ll note that there are plenty of pastors associated with that church and not all are at that particular location, but likely have been sent to start churches in other areas. But the 13 leaders all very likely agree with T. D. Jakes and his Oneness theology or they would probably not be employed there.

Thirteen people who teach and have charge over members of those congregations, with their heretical belief of Modalism. Ultimately, Modalism denounces the truth of God because it negates the character of God as revealed in Scripture. It denies the reality that is taught in Scripture, that God is three in One, all equal and existing in three separate Persons. You can read our own belief statement regarding the Trinity on “Our Beliefs” page.

By the way, I won’t even talk about the fact that there are numerous women at Jakes’ church who are in pastoral roles. We’ll probably deal specifically with that in an upcoming article, although so much has been written on that subject by so many, it’s doubtful that any Christian today is not aware of that.

So we see that in general, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons and United Pentecostal Church and apparently, Megachurch pastor Steve Furtick [3] all embrace the heretical Oneness theology. Of course, since Furtick has been known to spend time with Jakes even inviting him to preach at his church, it would not be unusual for Furtick to begin to adopt some of Jakes’ theology. Furtick is also part of the false prosperity “name it, claim it” gospel crowd.

So what can authentic Christians do? Well clearly, we need to know what the Bible teaches. We need to study to show that we are approved workmen who need not be ashamed when we stand before God at the BEMA Seat of Judgment. We also need to warn other Christians when we see them dabbling with or embracing areas of theology that are known to be heretical. This of course, should be done with much love and humility not arrogantly or in their face.

The other thing that is essential is to pray for people we personally know that may be under the heresy spell. All too often, people are unwilling to see another side of the coin if it means admitting that they are holding to error. It’s hard for people to willingly acknowledge that what they believe could well be error because of pride. Who wants to admit that they may believe something that is anti-biblical? It’s embarrassing so most refuse to recognize or admit it. People don’t like being wrong.

We’ll be back next time with another error that has found favor within certain circles of Christendom!

October 19, 2020 Evening Verse Of The Day

38. “So in this case I suggest to you: Stay away from these men and let them go! For if this plan or movement is of human origin, it will fail. 39. But if it is of God, you will be unable to overthrow them; you will even find yourselves fighting against God.” And they were persuaded by him.

Gamaliel applies his examples to the case before the court and advises the Sanhedrin to leave the apostles alone and to set them free. He counsels the members of the court not to get involved and implies that their involvement in the death of Jesus now rests as a burden of guilt on their consciences. He tells the Sanhedrists to release the apostles, just as they let Peter and John go free at an earlier trial.

By using two conditional sentences, Gamaliel convinces his audience that if the new movement is of human origin, it will fail. But if its origin is divine, the Sanhedrin will fail because the court will be fighting God. In the Greek, these two sentences reveal a difference in emphasis. That is, the first conditional sentence expresses Gamaliel’s uncertainty: “For if this plan or movement is of human origin, it will fail.” The examples from their own history are proof that manmade movements are fruitless and cause more harm than good.

From what Gamaliel has seen and heard in Jerusalem, he is not at all convinced that this new religion is of human origin in purpose and activity. He knows that the apostles themselves repeatedly teach first that their religion is the fulfillment of the Scriptures and second that they must be obedient to God (vv. 29, 32). Hence, in the second conditional sentence, Gamaliel expresses reality or simple fact: “But if it is of God, you will be unable to overthrow them; you will even find yourselves fighting against God.” Gamaliel implies that Christianity originates with God. He therefore persuades the members of the court to release the apostles.

The Western text of Greek manuscripts expands verses 38 and 39 by adding words and phrases and by providing an interesting commentary on Gamaliel’s advice. Here is the translation with the additions in italics:

So in the present case, brethren, I tell you, keep away from these men and let them go, without defiling your hands; for if this plan or this undertaking is of men, it will fail but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them—neither you nor kings nor tyrants. Therefore keep away from these men, lest you be found opposing God.

The last clause, “you will even find yourselves fighting against God,” is a complete sentence that is separate from the preceding. Gamaliel resorts to uttering a warning when he calls his fellow Jews to recognize a truth they know from the Scriptures: “Do not fight against the Lord God of your fathers, for you will not succeed” (2 Chron. 13:12; see also Prov. 21:30).[1]

Why do atheists look at the evidence for the fine-tuning of the universe yet come to a completely different conclusion from the data? How can two different groups (believers and non-believers) examine the same evidence yet come to a different conclusion? This clip was excerpted from one of J. October—19 The Poor Man’s Evening Portion

He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob, whom he loved. Selah.—Ps. 47:4.

My soul! has this little word Selah been placed at the end of this blessed verse, by way of marking the emphasis of the Holy Ghost? Who couldst thou have considered suitable to have chosen the inheritance of his people, but he who is the Lord of his people, and himself their inheritance and their portion for ever? It was God thy Father that chose him to be the excellency of Jacob, when he gave him for a covenant to the people; and when, to the infinite mind of Jehovah, this one glorious Person, in the holiness and purity of his nature, came up before him here, on him the Lord placed his choice. And had all his people been present; had it been possible for the whole of the chosen of Zion to have been consulted in the choice, would not every soul have fixed her longing eyes upon him, and from the millions of tongues resounding his blessed and blissful name from every heart, the universal voice would have been heard in the delightful words of this scripture: “He shall choose our inheritance for us; the excellency of Jacob, whom he loved!” Hail! thou dear and blessed Lord! thou art indeed our inheritance, and our portion for ever. And hail! thou glorious, gracious, and almighty Father! thy choice and thy gift, and thine appointment, gives and confirms, sweetens and sanctifies the eternal and unspeakable mercy. And hail! thou holy and blessed Spirit! do thou cause my poor soul to live by grace here, and in glory to all eternity, upon this excellency of Jacob, whom Jehovah loved![1]

October 19 – Biblical Prisoners? — VCY America

October 19
Jeremiah 33:1-34:22
1 Timothy 4:1-16
Psalm 89:1-13
Proverbs 25:23-24

Jeremiah 33:1 – In prison? Jeremiah? He joins a good group of Biblical prisoners:

  • Joseph (Genesis 39:20)
  • Samson (Judges 16:21)
  • Hoshaiah (2 Chronicles 16:10)
  • Micaiah (1 Kings 22:27, 2 Chronicles 18:26)
  • Jehoiachin (2 Kings 25:27)
  • Jeremiah (Jeremiah 32:2)
  • John the Baptist (Matthew 4:12)
  • The Apostles (Acts 5:18)
  • Peter (Acts 12:5)
  • Paul & Silas (Acts 16:23-27)

Paul recounts that he was “in prisons more frequent” (2 Corinthians 11:23). As Psalm 69:33 tells us – “the LORD … despiseth not his prisoners,” and in Psalm 146:7 we hear “The LORD looseth the prisoners!”

Jeremiah 33:3 – Growing up it was fun to show off what you could make with Legos. But how much more amazing would it be to see the great and mighty things that the Creator of the Universe can make! Let’s call unto Him today!

Jeremiah 33:8 – Cleansed and pardoned! How can someone be cleansed? Leviticus 14:14 says that the blood of the trespass offering is needed to cleanse. Jeremiah accused them of bloodguiltiness (Jeremiah 2:34, Jeremiah 7:6, Jeremiah 19:4, Jeremiah 22:3, Jeremiah 22:17, Jeremiah 26:15), and Numbers 35:33 says that land cannot be cleansed of blood, but by the blood of him that shed it. Whose blood will be shed to pay for the penalty? Numbers 35:33 would imply that it would be Israel’s blood – but if their blood is shed, who would take the land? Someone who could take the iniquity of all – Isaiah 53:6. The Branch of Righteousness, the heir of David (Jeremiah 33:15), will save Judah. In the very first verse of the New Testament Jesus is identified as the Son of David (Matthew 1:1). Even the blind men could see that Jesus was the Son of David (Matthew 9:27, 20:30-32), and the Canaanite woman (Matthew 15:22).

Jeremiah 34:7 – Lachish. Sennacherib had already attacked Lachish about 140 years earlier. Now it is under attack again.

In 1935, the archaeologist J.L. Starkey discovered in Lachish some broken pieces of pottery with writing on them, that have become known as the Lachish Letters. We’ll discuss them more as we continue, but if you ever get to the British Museum or the Rockefeller Museum in Jerusalem, be sure to look for them.

Replica – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lachish_letters#/media/File:Lachish_III_obv.JPG

Jeremiah 34:14 – Jeremiah notes that the commands of Exodus 21:2 and Deuteronomy 15:12 have been neglected, now the people that were released (belatedly) are being re-enslaved!

1 Timothy 4:1 – Let’s see – are we in the latter times?

  • Departing from the faith

Nearly one-third of white Americans raised in evangelical Christian households leave their childhood faith.2 About 60 percent of those who leave end up joining another faith tradition, while 40 percent give up on religion altogether. The rates of disaffiliation are even higher among young adults: 39 percent of those raised evangelical Christian no longer identify as such in adulthood.

https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/are-white-evangelicals-sacrificing-the-future-in-search-of-the-past/note we’re focusing on white evangelicals merely because they are the largest subgroup of senior citizens in American religion.

1 Timothy 4:4-5 – Why do we say grace before a meal? We are commanded to!

https://www.saturdayeveningpost.com/2015/10/norman-rockwell-and-faith/

2 Timothy 4:13 – Notice the emphasis on doctrine. Avoid doctrines of devils (2 Timothy 4:1), remember doctrine (2 Timothy 4:6), good doctrine (2 Timothy 4:6), Teach good doctrine (2 Timothy 4:11), give attendance to doctrine (2 Timothy 4:13), Meditate on it (2 Timothy 4:15), and take heed to the doctrine (2 Timothy 4:16).

Psalm 89:1 – Let’s sing forever!

Psalm 89:34 – We just read in Jeremiah about the Branch of David (Jeremiah 33:15, 17, 21-22, 26) and again we are reminded of the everlasting covenant with the seed of David!

Psalm 89:9 –  This seed of David is identified as stilling the waves of the raging seas! In Matthew 8:27 we see who this is!

Proverbs 25:24 – A great book I’ve started reading is “Discovering the Mind of a Woman.” I’ve already bought copies for a couple of my friends (currently $1.99 on Kindle).

We speak of the mark of Cain as if it was the mark of a curse. In reality it was the mark of God’s mercy, a defense against his enemies.

Wikipedia says Hunter Biden scandal ‘DEBUNKED’, as editing war rages & new page emerges calling it a ‘conspiracy’ | RT USA News

Wikipedia says Hunter Biden scandal ‘DEBUNKED’, as editing war rages & new page emerges calling it a ‘conspiracy’

Allegations of corruption against ex-Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter have apparently been “debunked” and are merely a “conspiracy theory” according to Wikipedia, where editors are battling over the terms.

Hunter Biden was the subject of an explosive report last week as the New York Post published emails alleging that he involved his father in dodgy business dealings in Ukraine and China.

While the story is still unfolding, the Wikipedia page for Hunter Biden simply states that “he and his father have been the subjects of debunked right-wing conspiracy theories pushed by [President] Donald Trump and his allies.” The curious framing was highlighted by conservative commentator Ian Miles Cheong on Twitter on Tuesday.

Eight sources are listed for this one sentence, intending to support the view that any accusations of corruption against the Democratic presidential candidate and his son have already been proven false. In recent days, Wikipedia editors have been engaged in regular spats about the inclusion of the word “debunked.”

The eighth source was added on Sunday by a frequent contributor to Biden’s son’s page, whose username is ‘Soibangla’. A regular editor of American political topics on Wikipedia, Soibangla was previously found tweaking pedophile sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s page, specifically to note that there is “no evidence” that he and former President Bill Clinton were “friends” – despite the ex-commander-in-chief traveling on the disgraced financier’s plane 26 times, according to flight logs.

‘Reputation managers’ get to work scrubbing Clinton-Epstein connection from Wikipedia

Curiously, the same Soibangla is one of the top authors on a new Wikipedia page titled, ‘Biden–Ukraine conspiracy theory’. The page was created on October 15, the day after the Post published Hunter’s alleged email history. The article calls the controversy “a series of false allegations” and references an almost identical list of eight sources to back it up.

A war over Hunter Biden’s page has been raging since December 2019, when the word ‘debunked’ was initially added in reference to the scandal involving the former VP’s role in the firing of a Ukrainian prosecutor who said he was investigating the Burisma gas company where Hunter sat on the board.

It kicked off again on September 30, when user ‘Php2000’ removed ‘debunked’, noting that “Sources state [Hunter Biden] was making 50,000 USD a month as a board member in Ukraine gas company. Hardly ‘debunked.’”

Just two minutes later, according to the website’s timeline, editor ‘Billmckern’ reverted the change, adding, “it’s been debunked and we have consensus language here.”

Php2000 once again deleted the word, explaining that Hunter Biden making a lot of money in Ukraine was a well-documented fact. “What exactly has been debunked?” they asked. “Read the references,” wrote Billmckern a mere four minutes later, once again restoring the controversial phrasing.

It’s not only Wikipedia where an effort to shield the Bidens from criticism has been raging. Social media giants have already come under fire for admitting they tried to hinder the spread of corruption allegations against the former vice president and his son. Just after the New York Post published the alleged leaks, Facebook admitted to shadow banning it, while Twitter outright blocked users from sharing the link to the Post’s story.

‘Are you kidding me?’ Final presidential debate will NOT feature foreign policy among topics in wake of Hunter Biden scandal | RT – Daily news

‘Are you kidding me?’ Final presidential debate will NOT feature foreign policy among topics in wake of Hunter Biden scandal

The final debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden will not include foreign policy as a topic, a decision for which the president’s campaign has slammed the commission, especially after the recent Hunter Biden allegations.

“Good morning to everyone except Presidential Debate Commission members who changed focus of final debate away from foreign policy,” the Trump campaign’s senior adviser Jason Miller tweeted on Monday morning.

Miller theorized the topics were steered away from foreign policy “so Joe Biden wouldn’t have to answer to being compromised by the Chinese Communist Party, supporting endless wars and sending pallets of cash to Iran.”

Topics for Thursday’s debate will be: ‘Fighting Covid-19’, ‘American Families’, ‘Race in America’, ‘Climate Change’, ‘National Security’ and ‘Leadership’.

While the exclusion of foreign policy as a topic in the final debate would already be notable, it’s especially significant in the wake of the New York Post’s explosive story on data from a hard drive allegedly belonging to Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, which includes emails that imply the former vice president was involved in foreign business deals with his son while serving in the White House, something he has denied in the past.

“ARE YOU FRICKEN KIDDING ME???” Donald Trump Jr. tweeted in reaction to news of the final debate’s topics. “Given the corruption we have [seen], it should be the only topic of discussion so we can finally get an answer from Joe Biden!”

Conservatives have taken to social media to express similar outrage.

Joe Biden has not directly responded to accusations against him and his son, waving off one reporter asking about the situation and chalking up the Post story to a “smear campaign.” He has also raised alarms with critics by reportedly calling a lid on press and events until Thursday, leaving no real opportunity to be asked again about the topic.

Miller, however, said to Fox News on Monday morning that viewers can expect the president to bring up the Hunter Biden story on Thursday.

“If the moderator doesn’t bring [Hunter Biden’s e-mails] up, I think you’re safe to assume that the president will,” he said.

“We’re going to talk about Biden’s support for endless wars, talk about the piles of cash loaded up with billions of dollars and sent to Iran, and we’re going to talk about all the foreign corruption, the foreign money that’s been coming into the Biden family,” he added.

‘Disaster for Joe’: As Hunter Biden’s lawyers allegedly ask for his laptop BACK, Trump calls its explosive revelations ‘REAL DEAL’

The upcoming debate between Trump and Biden has already been shrouded in controversy. Moderator Kristen Welker has been accused of being a reporter biased in favor of Democrats, as she has been a registered Democrat in the past and has clashed with the administration at the White House.

Welker is even on video in 2016 feeding Hillary Clinton’s communications director at least one question ahead of time before a post-debate interview.

The president himself has already slammed the reporter as “terrible” and “unfair.”

Before Welker, reporter Steve Scully was supposed to host the second presidential debate, which was canceled in favor of separate town hall events. Scully faced similar bias accusations and was suspended by C-SPAN after admitting to lying about his Twitter account being hacked. The revelation came after people noticed a questionable exchange with former White House communications director turned Trump critic Anthony Scaramucci.

Twitter, Facebook Censored Trump, Campaign 65 Times, Leave Biden Untouched | Newsbusters

Big Tech has caused serious damage to President Donald Trump’s ability to be heard on social media.

Twitter and Facebook have censored the president’s social media accounts and the accounts belonging to his re-election campaign at least 65 times. In contrast, the companies have not censored former Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his campaign accounts. At all.

Twitter composes the bulk of the problem, with 98 percent of all the instances of censorship. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Twitter has made the decision to censor major headlines about the Biden family, particularly when it came to the New York Post’s story about Hunter Biden’s dealings with Ukraine.

The Media Research Center’s Techwatch department analyzed two years of social media posts from Trump, Biden, and their respective campaigns. The analysis did not include any ads from PACs or super PACs that had made ads in favor of either candidate. It also focused on social media posts, not paid advertisements, from the campaigns. These numbers were collected from between May 2018 to October 16, 2020.

In addition, Twitter and Facebook employees have funneled money into Democrat campaigns. In a previous study released by MRC Business, the numbers showed that Facebook and Twitter had given over 90 percent of their political contributions to Democrats in 2020.

Twitter

Twitter has been far and away the biggest offender, labeling, fact-checking, and removing Trump’s tweets and the tweets from his campaign accounts 64 times since the president’s election. Tweets about the president’s concern over mail-in voting, COVID-19, and the Black Lives Matter protests have been given “public interest notices.”

Videos retweeted by the president depicting a satirical version of Biden walking on stage to the song “F*** Tha Police” have been deleted as well, after a fact-check from Poynter Institute’s PolitiFact. The actual video showed Biden playing the song “Despacito.”

Twitter fired first in the war between Trump and Big Tech when it completely deleted three tweets from the president on July 28, 2020. It removed tweets about the drug hydroxychloroquine.

Memes apparently are not allowed on the president’s account either. A meme showing Trump saying “in reality, they’re not after me. They’re after you” was removed from his June 30 tweet. Meme videos and meme creators who make pro-Trump content have suffered at the hands of Twitter. One instance is Carpe Donktum, the meme creator who made a video mocking the Democrats’ reaction to the 2019 State of the Union address. The video, retweeted by Trump, was removed after a copyright complaint. Donktum, whose real name is Logan Cook, was also removed in June 2020 after Trump had tweeted another one of his videos showing two toddlers hugging each other, with fake CNN chyrons at the bottom.

This censorship goes back as far as the beginning of the Trump presidency. A rogue Twitter employee in 2017 deactivated Trump’s account on his last day at work, leaving it offline for 11 minutes. Trump’s two tweets of Drudge headlines in 2018 were given the “sensitive content” filter over top of the tweets.

Users who have been retweeted by Trump play a game of censorship roulette as well. According to the Daily Beast, “Nearly 10 percent of the unverified accounts retweeted by President Trump since his inauguration are currently suspended from Twitter for various violations of the platform’s policies.” One user was quoted in the Daily Beast as saying, “Twitter’s always been fair to me, until the president of the United States retweeted me.” Seventeen accounts at least have been suspended since Trump’s inauguration.

The Trump campaign’s accounts have also been struck by censorship on Twitter. Team Trump has had four videos removed, including one that talked about pro-life policies. In addition, the Trump campaign was also suspended for sharing the controversial Hunter Biden emails story from the New York Post.

Facebook

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a speech given at Georgetown University on Oct. 17, 2019 that Facebook would “continue to stand for free expression.” But since then, Trump and the Trump campaign have been censored on the platform five times. Instagram, Facebook’s sister company, removed one video as well. Each time, the platform has made the statement that it opposes whatever Trump and the campaign have said or stood for.

A video attacking Antifa was removed from the platform, because it violated the platform’s “organized hate policy” for featuring an upside-down red triangle. The ad asked supporters “to sign a petition and “stand with your President and his decision to declare ANTIFA a Terrorist Organization.” The ad was removed from both the president’s page and his campaign’s page. However, multiple violent Antifa pages that have doxxed members of the Senate remain on the platform, unscathed.

Facebook fact-checkers, certified by the liberal Poynter Institute’s Independent Fact-Checking Network, also fact-checked a video that showed Biden saying, “We cannot win this re-election. Excuse me, we can only re-elect Donald Trump.” The video was labeled “partially false” and given an interstitial, or a filter, that suppressed the spread of the content on the platform.

White Coat Summit II Held Over the Weekend in Washington D.C. – Will This Be Censored by Big Tech As Well? — The Gateway Pundit

In July a group of doctors met in Washington DC to dispel false beliefs about the China coronavirus.  They were immediately condemned and their stories were taken down across social media.  These doctors met again this past weekend.

Frontline doctors from across the US held a “White Coat Summit” in July in Washington DC to dispel the misinformation and myths surrounding the China coronavirus.  The doctors were very concerned with the disinformation campaign being played out in the far left American media.

From their website they shared: “If Americans continue to let so-called experts and media personalities make their decisions, the great American experiment of a Constitutional Republic with Representative Democracy, will cease.”

Here is a list of the doctors who spoke at that event in July.

On the following Monday after their very popular event Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Google censored the doctors after they promoted hydroxychloroquine as a life-saving medication in treating the coronavirus.

Dr. James Todaro spoke with the Gateway Pundit at that time and said: “It was a great meeting with VP Mike Pence and his chief of staff where we discussed how we can make hydroxychloroquine available for physicians and patients across the country.”

These were practicing doctors on the front line of the pandemic and they deserved to be heard.

This group met again this past weekend. Dr. Todaro tweeted out his talk at this summit:

The group shared a video with their thoughts.  They started off with Dr. Simone Gold discussing masks and stating that masks are totally irrelevant in stopping the China coronavirus.   The virus is one one-thousandth  the size of a human hair.  Masks don’t work.

Consider what our emperor Fauci said when asked if he was sure that masks work.  Now remember, he is not new to the game.  This has been his life’s work for decades.  There was no chance that what he said was a mistake.  There is no chance that SARS Covid 2 is no different than any other coronavirus that he has made his life’s work.

Dr. Fauci said, “When you’re in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet but it is not providing the protection that people think is.  And often there are unintended consequences.

Dr. Gold continued:

I will put it plainly to you, my fellow Americans.  You have been lied to by the media.  Propaganda is not a new phenomena.  Thomas Jefferson said the man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers.  And John F. Kennedy pointed out that it does not matter that the propaganda had a sinister purpose. The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie, but the myth, persistent, persuasive and unrealistic.

Dr. Gold went on to note that there are not 2 million dead.  Our health care systems were not overwhelmed:

Nearly everyone survives and early treatment works.

IN TODAY’S DIGEST

FEATURED ANALYSIS

Joe Biden’s Quid Pro Quo Crime Syndicate

Mark Alexander

We can now verify that Joe Biden, in his 47 years as a statist Swamp Rat, created at least one constituent job — a very lucrative position for Hunter Biden, the underboss of Joe’s family crime syndicate.

At the same time the Bidens were arranging side deals for big bucks with the Red Chinese, Joe sat by as millions of American jobs were lost to cheap China labor — the jobs Donald Trump has worked tirelessly to bring home. While President Trump was negotiating fairer trade terms with China, the ChiComs were placing their bets on a future Joe Biden presidency.

As Thomas Gallatin wrote last week, the emails tying Joe Biden directly with pay-to-play Ukraine and China quid pro quos have cracked the Biden facade, and Joe’s career of corruption is becoming more apparent by the day. But there was no coverage of that corruption from the Demos’ Leftmedia talkingheads, other than repeating the Biden campaign claim that it was all a “smear campaign.” Of course, Big Tech dutifully censored the reports so they could not be circulated on social media.

Predictably, in the “town hall” softball pitches to Biden last Thursday, not a word was asked about the scandal. Political analyst David Marcus declared, “Let me be blunt — George Stephanopoulos’s failure to ask Joe Biden about this bombshell New York Post story is the most egregious example of journalistic malpractice that I have ever seen, and that’s a very competitive category these days.”

But if Biden is not asked by the partisan Demo moderator of the next presidential debate this Thursday night, I can assure you Trump will ask him, repeatedly. It will be interesting to see how Biden attempts to throw off the scent ahead of that dueling confab.

We have been rightly cautious about the veracity of Hunter Biden’s emails, and I continue to maintain 10% skepticism. Likewise, Senator Ron Johnson, chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, asked the FBI to verify the hard drive communications: “As the first step in our due diligence, committee staff contacted FBI officials and asked for confirmation of certain facts in an attempt to validate the whistleblower’s claims and assertions. Unfortunately, several days later, the FBI responded that it would not confirm or deny any information identified by the committee even though several of our questions were not related to the possible existence of an ongoing grand jury investigation.”

That notwithstanding, for the MSM to black out news about the communications while claiming they were “unverified” is inexcusable. After breaking the story, the New York Post’s editorial board noted: “The New York Times and Washington Post reporting that built vast hysteria over ‘Russiagate’ in the administration’s first days [was] all rooted in ‘opposition research’ commissioned by Hillary Clinton’s campaign, or … Clinton partisans in the Obama administration. … Desperate for Biden to win, they want to sink the [Ukraine and ChiCom] story with innuendo rather than actually report on it. Don’t ask too many questions, and you can dismiss it all as ‘unverified.’”

The fact that the “Russia collusion” fabrication was wholly unverified certainly didn’t stop the Leftmedia from immediately and endlessly pushing that leftist narrative for the next three years.

The difference between that fabrication and the Biden emails — and it’s a BIG difference — is that Fox News has now verified one of the most damaging emails tying Joe Biden to an access-for-profit scheme with the ChiComs. In one email, there is a reference to a percentage of the ownership profits: “10 held by H for the big guy.” Another party copied in that email has now verified its authenticity and confirmed that “the big guy” is Joe Biden.

And former federal prosecutor Rudy Giuliani, now President Trump’s personal attorney, says that before he released any of the emails to The Post he had already verified dates and context with a confidential informant. Additionally, according to Beth Baumann, “Based on what’s known, Giuliani stated Hunter Biden should be in prison for failing to register as a foreign agent, which is what Paul Manafort went to jail for.” According to Giuliani, Hunter Biden had no such registration either. Oh, by the way, neither did Joe Biden.

Giuliani promises there are more communications to come.

Meanwhile, sticking with the script, when Biden was finally caught off guard and asked about the emails directly, he replied: “It’s another smear campaign.” As commentator Laura Ingram notes: “This is how they get away with it. It’s a ‘smear campaign’ when there’s an email trail, but it’s good journalism when it’s suppositions set up by the deep state, as in [the fake Russian dossier].”

If they can’t spin the hard drive coms as a “Russian fabrication,” Biden and his Demo/Leftmedia machine will endeavor to spin this as a “Hunter Biden” problem. But as seasoned political observer John Hinderaker makes clear, “Of course, the issue isn’t Hunter — a sad, drug-addled case — but rather the light that the documents shed on the corrupt career of Joe Biden. The Post’s documents show a level of corruption that is remarkable even by Swamp standards.”

According to President Trump, “That’s a laptop from hell. A giant trove of emails show Hunter Biden making deals, setting up meetings with his father Joe, and using the office of the vice president for a for-profit cash machine. … People think of Joe Biden as a nice man. He’s not a nice man. He’s a corrupt man. … Joe Biden is and always has been a corrupt politician. Joe is far more corrupt than Hunter. The Biden family is a criminal enterprise.”

Finally, as I wrote last January, and other sources now agree, Democrats impeached Trump in an election year for what Joe Biden actually did. There is now additional corroborating evidence of Biden’s corruption. And House investigators want to know why, if the FBI had the Biden hard drives last December, this was not made known during the impeachment inquisition.

Down to the Wire

Douglas Andrews

For the last couple of weeks, the mainstream media has been trying to tell us that Joe Biden is pulling away from Donald Trump, and they’ve been trumpeting his lead in the polls as proof. But no sensible person believes these polls.

The Biden camp certainly doesn’t believe them. On Saturday, his campaign sent out a three-page memo with a warning to staff and supporters: “The reality is that this race is far closer than some of the punditry we’re seeing on Twitter and on TV would suggest.”

Calling the race “neck and neck” in critical battleground states, the memo continued, “If we learned anything from 2016, it’s that we cannot underestimate Donald Trump or his ability to claw his way back into contention in the final days of a campaign.”

Yesterday, even the Trump-addled scribes at The Washington Post began to reach for the Maalox. “Biden leads Trump. So did Hillary Clinton. For Democrats, it’s a worrisome campaign déjà vu,” went the Post’s headline.

“The polls,” they wrote, “are once again delivering feel-good boosts to Democrats: Joe Biden beats President Trump by 10, 11 or 12 points nationally, depending on the day. His edge in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin averages eight. Propeller-heads promise better than 4 in 5 odds of a new president next year. But then the partisans remember they have been here before, four years ago this week. The conflicting emotions can be overwhelming.”

Those “conflicting emotions” no doubt plague every Biden staffer who happens to get a glimpse of a Trump campaign rally. Yesterday, for example, he drew a huge and enthusiastic crowd in Carson City, Nevada, where he riffed for 90 minutes or so in the late afternoon sun about the booming economy, the “Chinese Plague,” and the “criminal enterprise” otherwise known as the Biden family.

So this was Carson City, but it might just as well have been Sanford, Florida; or Greenville, North Carolina; or Janesville, Wisconsin; or Muskegon, Michigan. Wherever he goes, the people show up en masse. And yet his opponent, Joe Biden, can’t seem to draw flies.

Trump is working to increase his support from suburban women, and there’s little doubt he’ll outperform his 2016 numbers with blacks and Hispanics. And he’ll have one last face-to-face crack at Joe Biden, when they square off in their final debate on Thursday in Nashville. There, it’s our expectation that if deeply compromised debate moderator Kristen Welker doesn’t ask Joe Biden some tough questions about the incriminating evidence found on his son Hunter’s abandoned MacBook laptop, Donald Trump will.

Lastly, we don’t want to give the impression that polling is uniformly unreliable. One pollster, for example, actually got things right in 2016. He had Trump winning both Michigan and Pennsylvania when no one else did, and he actually predicted Trump winning 306 electoral votes (he got 304), when all the big-name polling “experts” had Hillary Clinton winning in a rout. And just who was this prescient pollster? Robert Cahaly of the Trafalgar Group.

As National Review’s Rich Lowry notes, “As a general matter, [Cahaly] discounts national polls. First, because the race for the presidency is won state by state, not on the basis of the national vote. Second, because all the methodological difficulties involved in getting a balanced, representative sample in a state poll of 1,000 people are magnified in a national survey. ‘It’s easily skewable at that point,’ he says. ‘You start making assumptions.’”

Thus, between now and Election Day, when you hear the Leftmedia giddily promoting the latest poll showing Biden up by a healthy margin, don’t believe it. The 2020 race, just like the 2016 race, will be won in the battleground states, not in California or New York or Illinois. And in the battleground states, Trump is trending.

“We cannot become complacent because the very searing truth is that Donald Trump can still win this race,” wrote Biden Campaign Manager Jen O’Malley Dillon in the aforementioned memo, “and every indication we have shows that this thing is going to come down to the wire.”

Yes it will, and yes he can.

The Dispatch Compromises Free Speech

Thomas Gallatin

Giant social media companies grew into what they are today precisely because they created platforms allowing users to easily, freely, and widely express their opinions, thoughts, and views. Thus, it’s more than ironic that they are now squelching and controlling the very thing that gave them their existence: free speech.

One of Big Tech’s primary means of speech control is the “fact-checker,” which in practice serves only as an opinion monitor. Even the concept of a “fact-checker” is dubious on its face. It presumes as not only plausible but common that which our nation’s Founders recognized as impossible — a wholly unbiased arbiter of truth. Wisely, our Founders recognized the folly of those who would in the name of “truth” seek to control and limit unwanted speech, hence the existence of the First Amendment and its protection of our God-given right to freedom of speech.

The First Amendment’s speech protection makes no caveats or evaluations of what type of speech is to be protected. Indeed, all speech, regardless of its factuality or “truthfulness,” is to be not only allowed but protected. The rise of social media and mainstream media “fact-checkers” is therefore a direct assault on this fundamental freedom, not because it challenges the views and opinions of others but because the “fact-checker” is being used as a tool by the powerful to justify silencing views and opinions they reject. And the examples of Big Tech’s abuse of Americans free speech via “fact-checkers” are pilling up.

One of the latest incidents comes from Facebook, which censored an ad from the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List this past Friday over the claim that the ad had been fact-checked as false by “independent fact-checkers.” The trouble is that the ad, which claimed that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris support abortion “up to the moment of birth” as well as support taxpayer funding of abortion, was in fact true.

More troubling still was who the “independent fact-checker” was that erroneously labeled the ad “partly false,” giving Facebook the cover for censorship. The culprit was the relatively new media outlet The Dispatch. Created just last year by long-time Beltway political pundits Jonah Goldberg and Steve Hayes, the media site is little other than a bastion for Beltway establishment never-Trumpers to ply their trade under the “conservative” banner. The question is, no matter how anti-Trump one may be, if “principled conservative” is what one claims, how can one make a mistake of this magnitude on such a foundational conservative policy position like being pro-life?

After three days of blowback, Hayes finally ran damage control by admitting the fact-check was “not justified,” dubiously blaming it on a publishing and editing error. Too late; the damage was done. However, what was most disconcerting to those who didn’t know was Hayes’s acknowledgement that The Dispatch is one of Facebook’s cadre of “independent fact-checkers.” That a media organization would have internal fact-checkers is not the problem; in fact, that’s good business practice. That a media organization touting itself as conservative and committed to preserving American values and principles would be party to an organization that works to actively silence Americans’ speech is outrageous. But it shows the extent to which Trump Derangement Syndrome can affect people.

Break Up Big Tech Before It Kills Free Speech

Arnold Ahlert

“I want to start by making something very clear: We don’t consider political viewpoints, perspectives, or party affiliation in any of our policies or enforcement decisions. Period. Impartiality is our guiding principle.” —Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey speaking to the House Energy and Commerce Committee on Twitter Transparency and Accountability, September 5, 2018

That above assertion is, quite simply, a bald-faced lie. Last week in equally infuriating and painfully transparent measures, Dorsey and his partner in suppression, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, made it plain that the special exemption they’ve been given by Congress, whereby they are considered neutral “platforms” rather than “news publishers,” is an utter sham.

Nonetheless, due to the calculated and bipartisan impotence of Congress, Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act has been bastardized beyond recognition. The most relevant part of the section is as follows:

Section (c) Protection for “Good Samaritan” blocking and screening of offensive material
(1) Treatment of publisher or speaker
No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider.
(2) Civil liability
No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be held liable on account of —
(A) any action voluntarily taken in good faith to restrict access to, or availability of, material that the provider or user considers to be obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing, or otherwise objectionable, whether or not such material is constitutionally protected; or
(B) any action taken to enable or make available to information content providers or others the technical means to restrict access to material described in paragraph (1).

Are sentient Americans opposed to believe it was nothing more than “good faith” that precipitated censorship of a news story published by the New York Post, one of the largest and longest continually published newspapers in the nation? A story that could affect the outcome of the presidential election?

Perhaps Hunter Biden’s crack use and illicit sex was “obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, or harassing,” but it’s not a stretch to realize the key phrase was “otherwise objectionable.” That phrase, of course, is itself a highly objectionable and flexible phrase that allows members of Congress to wax indignant about social media double-standards and outright censorship — while doing absolutely nothing about it.

Yet note the insidiousness in play here. Twitter begins by censoring the New York Post story, and then actively undermines it by promoting and trending a Washington Post story that supposedly refutes it. If this contemptible feedback loop sounds familiar, that’s because similar machinations were employed by a thoroughly corrupt FBI, which leaked stories to the media and then used those stories to justify obtaining FISA warrants against members of Donald Trump’s team.

Moreover, The Washington Post wasn’t merely content to advocate for censorship. It also wholly mischaracterized what it labeled a “stunning policy reversal” made by Twitter, whereby the social media entity will “remove content only if it’s directly posted by hackers or those acting in concert with them.”

Yet even as it made that ridiculous assertion, the WaPo noted the NY Post story would still be blocked by Twitter “under a policy that prohibits sharing people’s personal information.”

Again, a bald-faced lie. “No similar standard was applied when the New York Times published Trump’s tax returns, even though anyone who had legal access to them is likely to have broken the law in sharing them with the Times,” National Review’s editorial board rightly asserted.

Thus, some personal information is “more equal” than others.

That “more equal” is a phrase coined by George Orwell is quite apropos. “If anybody is around to write history in a generation or two, October 14th 2020 will go down as the first day of a new Year Zero,” columnist Mark Steyn warns. “Yesterday, with less than three weeks to go in a national election in a settled democratic society with an ostensibly free press, the woke billionaires of the social media cartel decided to freeze and/or cancel the Twitter/Facebook accounts of the President’s press secretary, the Trump campaign, Republican Senate candidates and Republican House members. So America is now formally a one-party state, at least as far as fair access to media platforms is concerned.”

What will be done about it? Last Thursday, FCC Chairman Ajit Pai announced that his agency will attempt to clarify the breadth and meaning of Section 230. “Social media companies have a First Amendment right to free speech,” he wrote. “But they do not have a First Amendment right to a special immunity denied to other media outlets, such as newspapers and broadcasters.”

Representative Ken Buck (R-CO) agrees. “Twitter and Facebook’s editorial decisions to block the New York Post’s story, while allowing the President to Iran to issue death threats against United States service members, do not meet the narrow content moderation protections granted to platforms under Section 230,” he stated.

Buck made those assertions in a letter to the Department of Justice — calling for an investigation of social media censorship.

Who’s kidding whom? Calling for a DOJ investigation is a pathetic deflection of responsibility, whereby members of Congress apparently believe they can dump this problem on U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr. Barr’s track record of investigations may be many things, but above all, they are decidedly interminable.

Which may be precisely the point, and nothing illuminates it better than the reality that a photo of a federal subpoena reveals the FBI has had the laptop computer allegedly owned by Hunter Biden since last December.

In short, the notion that the FBI couldn’t verify whether or not Hunter Biden owned that computer, and in turn, the accuracy of the NY Post’s story over the course of 10 months, is utterly preposterous. Moreover, it suggests that Big Tech has nothing to worry about with regard to government regulation of its de facto totalitarian practices.

Thus, as columnist Emily Jashinsky writes, “two of the world’s most powerful corporations are nakedly using their massive influence to interfere in the election on behalf of the Democratic Party. And they’re getting away with it.”

Not just getting away with it, but thumbing their nose at Congress in the process: Facebook and Twitter employed these tactics only a week after the the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust, Commercial, and Administrative Law released a report summarizing the findings of seven hearings and 1.3 million documents. Its conclusion? Four companies — Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google — “have become the kinds of monopolies we last saw in the era of oil barons and railroad tycoons.”

And just like oil barons and railroad tycoons, Big Tech should be broken up. The alternative is plenty of talk but no action, due the inevitable disagreements arising from the different interpretations of Section 230. Disagreements regarding “special immunity” that will continue, even as Big Tech ramps up its censorship of anything a handful of billionaires find ideologically objectionable. The same billionaires who have “surveilled other businesses to identify potential rivals, and have ultimately bought out, copied, or cut off their competitive threats,” as the report further asserts.

Break them up — before they have the power to completely eliminate that argument itself from being publicly disseminated.

Hell Hath No Fury Like a Leftist Woman

Robin Smith

Women on the Left are so contentious with such intolerance that they’ve destroyed their own credibility by mocking and degrading the very thing they claim to support.

Harsh?

During the Senate confirmation hearings for Judge Amy Coney Barrett, the bilge and bile spewed from all leftist quarters, including feminists who seems to be triggered by a truly accomplished woman. Barrett is an extraordinary jurist, a brilliant scholar, a faithful wife, and a loving mother of seven children — two of whom are adopted from Haiti and one of whom has Down Syndrome. Barrett fulfills the construct of an empowered woman having it all. But darn it, she wasn’t supposed to be a Christian conservative female powerhouse!

Some leftist women are working to bludgeon the reputation of a stellar judge and are mocking Barrett’s life of faith. Toronto Star writer Heather Mallick insulted Barrett over her answer about her independent thinking. Mallick scoffed, “She should be called ‘Judge Amy Father Husband’ because she is named after the men she has obeyed all her life as a Handmaid in this nutty People of Praise religious cult that Democrats are too polite to mock. This is why Dems lost to Trump last time. Courage up, people.” Evidently, it takes “courage” to hatefully mock someone’s faith, intact family, and accomplished position as a federal judge.

Feminist author Lauren Hough vulgarly tweeted, “It’s a very weird thing to watch these old creeps congratulate a handmaid on her clown car vagina.” She continued sarcastically, “You can tell a lot about how a judge will rule by her fertility so I’m glad she’s already proven hers because the cervix check really shouldn’t be done live. But I’m excited for her to share her casserole recipe and some stain-removal tips.”

These bitter, biting words meant to publicly shame and maim might be difficult to understand when we remember the proclamations of groups like Emily’s List, Planned Parenthood, and NARAL in their fundraising pitches: “elect! more! women!” Except that we know what they’re really saying is, “Elect only women who think and act like us.”

Vice President Mike Pence treated Senator Kamala Harris as an equal in the VP debate on October 7. Indeed, according to CNN, Harris spoke for 38 minutes and 48 seconds compared to Pence’s 35 minutes and 22 seconds. Despite this, Harris repeatedly played the victim card with exaggerated facial expressions of eye rolling, scoffing, and head shaking to go along with repeated demands that she not be interrupted. ABC’s George Stephanopoulos laughably singled out VP Pence for “mansplaining.” The victimhood narrative was fulfilled, leaving leftist women satisfied.

Contrast that with the decorum of Amy Coney Barrett in her Senate hearings as she matter-of-factly addressed questions — even the stupid ones — directly and within the confines of judicial temperament and canons. Democrat Senator Amy Klobuchar interrupted Judge Barrett to accuse her of having “cut a deal with the president” related to ObamaCare. Senator Harris, with delicious irony, tried to manipulate Barrett to get a response on “a very contentious matter.” When Barrett responded with a frank “it’s inconsistent with the judicial role,” Harris moved into an angry feminist version of “mansplaining.” The senator and Democrat VP nominee then launched into a lecture of the illegitimacy of the Senate hearings. For shock value, Hawaii Democrat Mazie Hirono asked Barrett if she had ever “made unwanted requests for sexual favors or committed any verbal or physical harassment or assault of a sexual nature.”

Because of Barrett’s partisan affiliation, leftist women see no problem with being contentious and intolerant as they seek to destroy Barrett by mocking and degrading the very thing they claim to support — a successful and accomplished woman.

Why? Amy Coney Barrett and all other strong, conservative Christian women serve as the rebuttal to the notion that only the Left represents women and any issues of substance for the female gender. When leftists don’t get the result they want, like the 2016 presidential election, the response is to attack the legitimacy and move from dismissal to disruption.

Hell truly has no fury like a leftist woman scorned.

Think Tank: Censor Conservative Media

Thomas Gallatin

Mainstream media outlets loathe the fact that the majority of Americans no longer trust them as sources of unbiased and nonpartisan news. This resulting distrust in the MSM has pushed many Americans to find their news from alternative sources online and across social media — something we in our humble shop have provided, by the way, since 1996.

Well, that’s not acceptable, say the gatekeepers of information. The German Marshall Fund (GMF), a think tank founded in Washington, DC, in 1948 with the objective of helping European nations combat the disinformation efforts of communists, has released a report ironically promoting the suppression of information. This is, of course, the same strategy communist nations used to squelch inconvenient ideas in their own populations.

As The Wall Street Journal editorial board observes, “Naturally, the report has a solution: Stop Facebook users from seeing content that rudely challenges elite views. The authors conclude that ‘de-amplifying — or adding friction to — the content from a handful of the most dangerous sites could dramatically decrease disinformation online.’ Presumably Facebook can swap in unimpeachable sources like CNN.”

The MSM, which has increasing become little other than the propaganda wing of the Democrat Party, loudly laments the fact that social media has allowed for the growth of alternate, often conservative, media outlets. Thus, the call for statist control of the news media and suppression of conservative voices.

The fault for the American people’s loss of trust in the MSM has everything to do with the fact that the MSM has become filled with activist “journalists.” These operatives see the promotion of a leftist agenda rather than the objective sharing of the news as their primary purpose. They see their jobs as working to change the world rather than communicating facts without regard to who they may hinder or help. That dereliction of duty created a vacuum conservative news organizations sought to fill, and now the Left’s response is to silence us rather than compete in the realm of reporting and ideas.

Whitmer Cries Wolf

Douglas Andrews

It’s not hard to imagine Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer yukking it up with her staffers as they propped up the trendy “8645” sticker on the table next to her in preparation for a “Meet the Press” interview.

Before going live, they probably let NBC’s Chuck Todd and his producers in on the joke, too. After all, what’s a little call to violence against the president between and among Trump-haters?

On the shelf just behind Whitmer and her 8645 message was a vanity license plate with an utterly contradictory message: “RESPECT.” Respect for whom, Gretch? Certainly not for President Donald Trump or his supporters. Whitmer, with her nationally televised call to “86” our 45th president not only displayed her contempt for Trump but also for the more than two million Michigan voters who went for Trump over Hillary Clinton in 2016 and put the state in the Republican column for the first time since 1988.

Whitmer is, of course, the same thin-skinned governor whose feelings were hurt a day earlier when, at a Trump campaign rally in nearby Muskegon, the president said, “You gotta get your governor to open up your state, okay? And get your schools open.”

When the crowd spontaneously broke into chants of “Lock her up,” Trump responded, “Lock ‘em all up.” To which Whitmer tweeted, “This is exactly the rhetoric that has put me, my family, and other government officials’ lives in danger while we try to save the lives of our fellow Americans. It needs to stop.”

During the interview, she continued her disingenuous attack, telling Todd, “It’s incredibly disturbing that the president of the United States, 10 days after a plot to kidnap, put me on trial, and execute me — 10 days after that was uncovered — the president is at it again and inspiring and incentivizing and inciting this kind of domestic terrorism. It is wrong. It’s got to end. It is dangerous. We do not tolerate actions like he is giving comfort to. And that’s why we all have to be in this together.”

As we’ve noted, that plot was not what it seemed.

After Whitmer’s MTP rant, the Trump War Room was quick to denounce her: “Governor Gretchen Whitmer displayed an ‘86 45’ sign during her TV appearance,” they tweeted. “86 can be shorthand for killing someone. Whitmer is encouraging assassination attempts against President Trump just weeks after someone sent a ricin-laced package to the White House.”

Republican National Committee Rapid Response Director Steve Guest went a step further, tweeting out a screenshot of Google’s definition of “86,” which included a call for “killing someone.”

Hey, what’s good for the goose is good for the governor. And once again, we find Democrats guilty of the exact same behavior they accuse Republicans of.

Why Black Men Will Support Trump’s Platinum Plan

Patrick Hampton

Growing up in the 80s and 90s, black men like myself developed an admiration for then-real estate mogul Donald Trump. Back then, he was a public icon. He had all the pretty women and what appeared to be limitless money. You saw him at all the boxing matches. He even made cameos at sporting events and in movies. We bought the books and listened intently to his interviews about his approach to wealth.

Overall, we thought Trump was cool. In fact, I’d go as far as to say that many of us wanted to be the next “black” Donald Trump. Every entertainer and entrepreneur seemed to follow suit, giving him credit in rap songs and looking forward to taking “selfies” with the self-made man.

So it’s no wonder that President Trump is gaining much more support from black male voters who are rekindling their longtime affinity for the former real estate giant. Exit polls from the 2016 election suggest that 13% of black men voted for Trump — more than any Republican in modern election history.

It’s no surprise that rapper Ice Cube was willing to sit down with the Trump White House to discuss his “Contract with Black America” — a plan that included a $500 billion “capital infusion” for black communities. Eyeing what the rapper put on the table, the Trump administration followed up with the Platinum Plan, which met Ice Cube’s largest demand. Senior Advisor Katrina Pierson credited the rapper for his willingness to discuss a solution.

While loudmouth “activists” like LeBron James and Colin Kaepernick only seem to have complaints, a huge influencer in Ice Cube comes forward — with his dislike for Trump and all — to bravely make demands on behalf of his community.

This is because men — real men — are naturally wired to be protectors and providers, going through any means necessary to make change happen. For Ice Cube, it wasn’t a Twitter war or a campaign of hate that helped him bring his plan to fruition. Instead, it was showing up at the table — face to face with a sitting administration — to hold all parties accountable, hypocrisy free.

Leadership like this is what inspires black men, because we honor responsibility, strength, and a well-thought-out plan just as the next man does. Perhaps Ice Cube saw these qualities in President Trump. This was probably evident after coming to both parties only to be deferred by Biden’s campaign. With checkbooks in hand, the Trump administration put pen to paper and made the deal that will pave the way for black entrepreneurship and economic success. It would be a plan that would — as Joe Biden claims in his alliterative slogan — #BuildBackBetter.

Ultimately, this “Trump-Cube Contract” represents the many things black men have wanted from America. But most importantly it embodies the willingness for two men across party and racial lines to meet in the middle. In this case, Ice Cube played the Trump Card and black America won.

SHORT CUTS

For the record: “Let me be blunt — George Stephanopoulos’s failure to ask Joe Biden about this bombshell New York Post story is the most egregious example of journalistic malpractice that I have ever seen, and that’s a very competitive category these days.” —David Marcus

When Biden was finally asked about the report, he said, “I have no response. It’s another smear campaign. Right up your alley.” As Laura Ingraham notes: “This is how they get away with it. It’s a ‘smear campaign’ when there’s an email trail, but it’s good journalism when it’s suppositions set up by the deep state, as in [but fake Russian dossier].”

Friendly fire: “Are we really not supposed to care that the dumped emails in 2016 were, you know, real? Amazing how many members of the press currently spend their time worrying about preventing the public from accessing true information.” —Matt Taibbi

Non compos mentis: “We can do this; you can ban chokeholds. But beyond that you have to teach people how to de-escalate circumstances, de-escalate. So instead of anybody coming at you, and the first thing you do is shoot to kill, you shoot them in the leg.” —Joe Biden (There are numerous reasons why this is a terrible idea.)

And last… “Democrats interrupted Judge Barrett 78 TIMES. Zero cries of sexism or ‘mansplaining’ from the media.” —Ronna McDaniel

The Biden Corruption Scandal Isn’t About Hunter, It’s About Joe — The Federalist

The Biden Corruption Scandal Isn’t About Hunter, It’s About Joe

The Hunter Biden scandal indicates that Joe Biden, while vice president of the United States, knowingly allowed his son to sell access to the Obama administration, then lied about it.

The Biden Corruption Scandal Isn’t About Hunter, It’s About Joe — The Federalist

Hunter Biden’s addiction is not the issue. Joe Biden’s addiction is: His addiction to power and money. And it is the evidence of the former vice president’s corruption, and the national security risk our country would face by electing Biden, that is the story of the MacBook hard drive, not the salacious, verified photographs and videos of Hunter Biden.

For nearly a week, corporate media successfully ignored or downplayed news of the trove of Hunter Biden’s emails, texts, photographs, and videos recovered from a laptop abandoned at a Delaware computer repair store. Then confirmation of the authenticity of the materials first reported in the New York Post, and the release of a second set of emails — also confirmed— from another source finally forced the press to acknowledge the issue.

On Friday evening, CBS News’ Bo Erickson asked Joe Biden about the New York Post story as the Democrat candidate for president departed from a campaign stop in Michigan. “I have no response. It’s another smear campaign — right up your alley, those are the questions you always ask,” Biden snipped at the long-time reporter.

With more details coming out daily, this non-answer will not placate even a compliant press for long. Nor will the “Russia disinformation” narrative pushed by Biden’s media boosters suffice because multiple confirmations of the evidence establish this story is not disinformation.

It’s Not about Hunter’s Addiction, It’s about Joe’s

So, the dissembling will start, with Biden attempting to make the story about his son’s drug addiction. We already saw this when President Trump hit his opponent during the first presidential debate with the fact that once Biden “became vice president [Hunter] made a fortune in Ukraine, in China, in Moscow and various other places.” Biden’s first response was outright denial: “That is not true.” But that won’t work with the constantly accumulating evidence from the hard drive and the other independent emails.

So Biden’s second tack will likely be his campaign’s official response once they regroup over the weekend: “My son, like a lot of people at home, had a drug problem. He’s overtaking it. He’s fixed it. He’s worked on it. And I’m proud of him, I’m proud of my son,” Biden punched back during the first presidential debate.

Wisely, President Trump ignored the misdirection, replying, “But why was he given tens of millions of dollars?” “Moderator” Chris Wallace rescued Biden by interjecting, “We’ve already been through this. I think the American people would rather hear about more substantial subjects. Well, as the moderator, sir, I’m going to make a judgment call here.”

Senate Report Confirms Corruption

While Hunter Biden’s highly lucrative position on the board of the Ukrainian company Burisma has received some press, the media all but ignored the U.S. Senate committee report on “Hunter Biden, Burisma, and Corruption: The Impact on U.S. Government Policy and Related Concerns.” This report not only details “examples of extensive and complex financial transactions involving the Bidens, it also describes the quandary other U.S. governmental officials faced as they attempted to guide and support Ukraine’s anticorruption efforts.”

The report’s key findings included concerns raised by “officials in Vice President Joe Biden’s office about the perception of a conflict of interest with respect to Hunter Biden’s role on Burisma’s board,” and a senior State Department official’s warning to Vice President Biden or his staff “that Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board enabled Russian disinformation efforts and risked undermining U.S. policy in Ukraine.” The report also confirmed that former Secretary of State John Kerry “had knowledge of Hunter Biden’s role on Burisma’s board,” even though he falsely denied that knowledge during a town hall event in 2019.

The report was not limited to Hunter Biden’s role on the Burisma board and the Obama-Biden administration’s knowledge of that conflict of interest. The Senate committees also detailed Hunter’s receipt of “a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the wife of the former mayor of Moscow,” and Hunter’s opening of “a bank account with Gongwen Dong to fund a $100,000 global spending spree with James Biden and Sara Biden,” as well as his “business associations with Ye Jianming, Gongwen Dong, and other Chinese nationals linked to the Communist government and the People’s Liberation Army.”

“Those associations,” the report continued, “resulted in millions of dollars in cash flow,” some of which Hunter “paid nonresident women who were nationals of Russia or other Eastern European countries and who appear to be linked to an ‘Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring.’”

Whistleblower Turns Over Hunter’s Laptop

Then on Saturday, we learned from a letter sent by Sen. Ron Johnson, the chair of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, to FBI Director Christopher Wray, that the report triggered “a whistleblower” to contact Johnson’s “committee and informed [his] staff that he had possession of a laptop left in his business by Hunter Biden,” clearly the same source as behind the New York Post’s story.

The letter continued: “He also informed us that he provided its contents to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in response to a December 9, 2019 grand jury subpoena.” The FBI refused to confirm any or deny any information sought by the committee, including questions unrelated to ongoing grand jury investigations. Johnson stressed the importance of the FBI responding to the committee’s inquiry: “I have a responsibility to validate and verify the contents of any information produced to my committee. The committee must know if it receives information that could be fraudulent or not accurate.”

“For example,” Johnson’s letter continued, “if any information offered to the committee was linked to a foreign adversary’s attempt to interfere in the election, I would expect the FBI to ensure the committee is protected and receives a defensive briefing.” Additionally, as Johnson noted, “knowingly providing false information to Congress is a crime.” Johnson then listed a litany of questions concerning the laptop and the FBI’s efforts to verify the authenticity of the material, asking for an answer by Oct. 22, 2020.

It seems unlikely the FBI will respond to the inquiry, or at least not publicly, but to date, several outlets are claiming they confirmed the validity of the emails and other material on the hard drive, and the personal texts and photographs and videos released leave little doubt that the hard drive truly was Hunter Biden’s.

This Is about Joe Biden, Not Hunter

That is the extent of the relevance of the personal information being released: The public does not need to know of the unsavory and illegal behavior Hunter engaged in—much less watch it—while he was in the throes of addiction. America also does not need to read the words of anguish exchanged between an addict son undergoing rehab and his famous father.

Yet Hunter Biden’s addiction, and the fact that tens of thousands of other Americans suffer similar demons, does not atone for the sins of the father. And that is what the email and text scandal concerns: Evidence that Joe Biden, while vice president of the United States, knowingly allowed his son to profit by selling access to Biden and others in the Obama administration, including to Communist Party of China leaders, and then lied about it.

The emails and texts Joe personally received also suggest a cut from Hunter’s influence-peddling. For instance, one email published by the New York Post detailed a deal Hunter Biden pursued with China’s largest private energy company that was “interesting for me and my family.”

A May 13, 2017 email with the subject line “Expectations” listed expected “renumeration packages” for various individuals, including “‘H,’ apparently referring to Biden.” The Post noted that “the deal also listed ‘10 Jim’ and ‘10 held by H for the big guy?’” but did not identify the “big guy.” However, sources have told Fox News “‘the big guy’ is a reference to the former vice president.”

A text recovered from the hard drive also suggests the former vice president may have received a cut of Hunter’s “earnings.” “I Hope you all cal do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family Fro 30 years,” a screenshot of a text from January 2019 to Hunter’s daughter read. “It’s really hard. But don’t worry unlike Pop I won’t make you give me half your salary.”

This Compromising Material Is a National Security Risk

Evidence of this scandal is too strong to ignore or to allow Joe Biden, the Democratic Party, or corporate media to cast aside as an unseemly attack on a recovering drug addict, and not merely because of the corruption at issue. Every country, every foreign politician or political faction, and every corrupt oligarch or business that paid for access has the emails, notes, receipts, itineraries, fund transfers, and maybe even photographs or recordings. And that makes Joe Biden a national security risk.

Remember, it was Acting Attorney General Sally Yates’ concern that then-National Security Advisor Michael Flynn was a national security risk that sent her to the White House to get him fired. The Russians would know, she maintained, that Flynn had misrepresented to Vice President Mike Pence his conversations with the Russian ambassador, and that would leave Flynn compromised. Of course, that theory was so preposterous that even disgraced former FBI Director James Comey called it a stretch.

But there is a world of difference between a conversation among a transition team member and a foreign ambassador and a conversation between individuals with foreign interests and the former vice president, bought and paid for with cash funneled through his son. A compromise of that kind holds serious national security issues, which is why our country needs a full vetting of this evidence.

If the emails and texts are fake, we need to know that. But all indications to date are that they are real, and spectacularly damning. And that has nothing to do with Hunter Biden’s addiction, and everything to do with Joe Biden’s unfitness for office.

Joe Biden’s Donors Got Special Treatment After Setting Up Drug-Addicted Son Hunter with Cushy Jobs and Lucrative Sweetheart Deals — The Gateway Pundit

By Paul Sperry of RealClearInvestigations:

Hunter Biden profited from his father’s political connections long before he struck questionable deals in countries where Joe Biden was undertaking diplomatic missions as vice president. In fact, virtually all the jobs listed on his resume going back to his first position out of college, which paid a six-figure salary, came courtesy of the former six-term senator’s donors, lobbyists and allies, a RealClearInvestigations examination has found.

One document reviewed by RCI reveals that a Biden associate admitted “finding employment” for Hunter Biden specifically as a special favor to his father, then a Senate leader running for president. He secured a $1.2 million gig on Wall Street for his young son, even though it was understood he had no experience in high finance. Many of his generous patrons, in turn, ended up with legislation and policies favorable to their businesses or investments, an RCI review of lobbying records and legislative actions taken by the elder Biden confirms.

That the 50-year-old Hunter has been trading on his Democratic father’s political influence his entire adult life raises legal questions about possible influence-peddling, government watchdogs and former federal investigators say. In addition, the more than two-decades-long pattern of nepotism casts fresh doubt on Joe Biden’s recent statements that he “never discussed” business with his son, and that his activities posed “no conflicts of interest.”

No fewer than three committees in the Republican-controlled Senate have opened probes into potential Biden family conflicts. Investigators are also poring over Treasury Department records that have flagged suspicious activities involving Hunter’s banking transactions and business deals that may be connected to his father’s political influence.

U.S. ethics rules require all government officials to avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest in taking official actions. The Bidens have denied any wrongdoing.

While most of the attention on Hunter has focused on his dealings in Ukraine and China when his father was in the White House, he also cashed in on cushy jobs and sweetheart deals throughout his dad’s long Senate career, records reveal.

“Hunter Biden’s Ukraine-China connections are just one element of the Biden corruption story,” said Tom Fitton, president of the Washington-based watchdog group Judicial Watch, who contends Biden used both the Office of the Vice President and the Senate to advance his son’s personal interests.

In each case, Hunter Biden appeared under-qualified for the positions he obtained. All the while, he was a chronic abuser of alcohol and drugs, including crack cocaine, and has cycled in and out of no fewer than six drug-rehab treatment programs, according to published reports. He’s also been the subject of at least two drug-related investigations by police, one in 1988 and another in 2016, according to federal records and reports. A third drug investigation resulted in his discharge from the U.S. Navy Reserve in 2014.

This comprehensive account of Hunter Biden’s “unique career trajectory,” as one former family friend gently put it, was pieced together through interviews with more than a dozen people, several of whom insisted on anonymity to describe private conversations, and after an in-depth examination of public records, including Securities and Exchange Commission filings, court papers, campaign filings, federal lobbying disclosures, and congressional documents.

Hunter Biden’s resume begins 24 years ago. Here is a rundown of the plum positions he has managed to land since 1996, thanks to his politically connected father and his boosters:

Video Compilation of So-Called Debate Moderator Kristen Welker Trashing President Trump and Pushing Russia Hoax (VIDEO) — The Gateway Pundit

The first Presidential debate was a mess with FOX News Chris Wallace who destroyed his career by being not just obscenely biased but a complete liar. Wallace has always been a Never-Trumper but his showing at the first debate was an obvious attempt to take down President Trump and prop up corrupt career politician Joe Biden.

The second debate moderator Steve Skully was fired for lying about his Twitter page being hacked with anti-Trump text messages. Of course, this was a lie and his employer CSPAN fired him last week.

Then a week ago the third official anti-Trump debate moderator Kristen Welker deleted her Twitter account.

Too bad for Kristen Welker the internet lasts forever and a couple of her anti-Trump tweets were later brought to light.

Via Townhall:

Welker saying Trump is a cheat.

Welker saying Trump is a liar.

And in August 2016 Welker was caught on hot mic tipping off Hillary Clinton’s Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri on at least one question she planned on asking.

Now there is a video compilation of Kristen Welk trashing President Trump and pushing the Russia hoax.

Whoever agreed to allow one of the leftist clowns from the White House press room to moderate a presidential debate should be immediately fired.

NEW Hunter Biden e-mails reveal deal with Chinese investors and Communist Party officials

WINTERY KNIGHT

Where did all this money come from? Where did all this money come from?

This story is separate from the story from last week about Hunter Biden and Ukraine. Last week’s story was about Hunter’s dealings with a Ukraine energy company. Today’s story is about Chinese investors and members of the Chinese Communist Party. The story, reported by Breitbart, emerged because a former associate of Hunter Biden provided access to his e-mail account.

Breitbart reports:

Newly obtained emails from a Hunter Biden business partner lay out in detail how the Vice President’s son and his colleagues used their access to the Obama-Biden administration to arrange private meetings for potential foreign clients and investors at the highest levels in the White House. These never-before-revealed emails outline how a delegation of Chinese investors and Communist Party officials managed to secure a private, off-the-books meeting with then-Vice President Joe Biden.

In a 2011 email, Hunter Biden’s business associates also discussed…
